Preferred Solution: Security Warning!

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi all. Great forum. I've been lurking and reading so far and now I need to ask for some help. It sounds like some people here have figured it out which is great news, so I would really appreciate a hand.

Dummy me, surfing and searching I clicked on a bad bad link. And I allowed some trojan on my computer. Yes, my mom always told me to watch where I was sticking my fingers, but after a few beers I quickly forgot that rule.

Now I'm getting this crappy icon in my system tray and stupid pop-ups all over the place. I've got SpySweeper installed, which said it had gotten rid of the problem, but it still is coming up. Norton also had a problem fixing it. Basically, the problem was that it won't fix it.

So I d/l'd HiJackThis and did the system scan and save log file. Here is what I have:

Outlook 2010 Security warning upon opening Outlook:
Initial problem: Work email from home computer stopped sending (had been working fine), though I have no problem receiving email. (Note: Home email account continues to work fine.) Email host Support (Comcast) worked me through finding the right Outgoing port to change to, but ...
Now upon opening Outlook - "Internet Security Warning - Security Certificate cannot be verified" pops up. "Continue?" "Yes" works, but it has become a "nag window" every time I open Outlook.
This may not be a Windows 7 issue, but would appreciate any suggestions. /jd

HI,

This problem is caused when the POP3 address (email collection) doesn’t match the SSL certificate that is being used. try following steps to resolve the error:

Open Outlook > Click ‘Tools’ from the top menu > Select ‘account settings’ from the ‘tools’ menu > Highlight the email account you are having trouble with and press ‘Change’ > From the ‘Change e-mail account’ page click on ‘More settings’ >From the ‘Internet email settings’ page choose the ‘advanced’ tab >Un-tick the ‘This server requires authentication’ option > click ‘OK’, then ‘next’ then ‘Finish’

Recently I started getting security warnings from PC Security 2011. I don't know where this came from and I didn't install it on my computer but there it is. The popups are very bothersome as they are "always on top" and makes it difficult to to anything with the computer. I also get a balloon type window with warning that a USB spam-bot detected. This does not seem to be from PC Security 2011.
I have read instructions for posting and have the required files. This is a Toshiba Satellite laptop computer running Windows XP.

Question: Security warning

Each time I want to search in Google,I am getting this security message(see screen shot).
This has only started happening recently, can it be disabled and how?
Regards.

Answer:Security warning

I do not believe there is a way to shut this off but if there is it is a Firefox settings. In address bar you type about:config. I would research what function is performed under the setting network.websocket.allowInsecureFromHttps

You are in a secure page from Virgin and you are asking for a search on Web. The browser detects the data will be sent from Virgin in clear text and warns. You might try searching from the very top search bar in Firefox. That or set Google as your home page. If you search from Firefox bar you can set the default search engine in "Options" to be your engine of choice.

Personally I would not defeat this warning. Hope this helps a little.

Question: Security Warning

Hello, I have a Dell Dimension 3000 running Windows XP, and every time I open a webpage lately I've been getting the following security warning:

This website contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection which could compromise the security of the entire webpage.

Then it gives me the choice: Do you want to view only the content that has been delivered securely...yes or no.

I have installed all the latest updates pertaining to security issues, but nothing seems to make it go away; it keeps coming up everytime I go to my email or homepage, or anywhere else...annoying!

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Question: Security Warning

During my usual microsoft updates I got the new Internet Explorer 8 and I was ok with that at first. however lately I have been getting an irritating secutity warning that shows up every time I try and open an e mail.
It asks: "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely ? "
" This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could
compromise the security of the entire webpage. "
Is there any way to clear this warning so that it dosent pop up every time I go to open an e-mail ? I have tried to change various settings, to no avail. And it shows up on both my XP and Vista operating systems. It seems to be tied in with the smartscreen filter some how. I just can't seem to be able to remove it
Any thoughts would be helpful.

Answer:Security Warning

It is not related to the smart screen filter.

I've receivec it before and I don't have such enabled.

Hi guys, I have a laptop running Win XP and for a few weeks now, whenever I boot up, the following warning from Windows Security Centre appears with the icons on the bottom-right of my desktop:"No firewall is turned on. Antivirus software might not be installed."I use the free Comodo firewall, which is turned on, fully updated and I've been using it for well over a year on this laptop. I also use the free Avast anti-virus, which is also fully updated, running in real time and a full scan shows no virus present. I have been using this prog for over a year as well. I also run regular full scans with both Superantispyware and Malwarebytes, both of which show no malware present on my HD. When I first installed the Comodo firewall, the Win Security Centre detected it, I did not get any warnings.and it's only in the last few weeks that I've been getting them, without me changing anything. Also, when I run Task Manager, it shows that wscntfy.exe is running, which I believe is the .exe for Win Security Centre. This is no biggie really (at least, I hope not) but is just becoming slightly annoying, so if anyone has any idea what the cause is, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

Answer:Why do I keep getting Win XP security warning?

I noticed when doing sp updates for XP that they would reset the security center to default, which is to give the warnings. In addition Malwarebytes scans would also detect that the warnings were disabled and if I let it make the suggested fixes it would turn them back on. It's possible a virus or malware scan by your software may have done the same thing.DAVEINCAPS - Made with REAL high fructose corn syrup.

Is there some way to turn off the pain in the butt security warning that pops up anouncing that there is both secure and insecure information in a page and requiring a yes check to view the page?

Answer:IE7 Security Warning

When the warning box comes up there is usually a little box that says something to the effect that don't show this no more. Put a tick mark in it and click yes I believe and it should not open any more.

Clicking OK or cancel does not work. Problem applies in both Firefox 3.5 and IE 8.
The tools \ options etc doesnt seem to work either.
Can anyone suggest some appropriate action.

When does it happen. And what is the exact warning you get?
I trust you have scanned your PC with your AV. Run Disk Cleanup first and then do so in safe mode.

I have just set up both computers for a network with installed router. The PC firewall plus seems rather redundant, but if I disable it, I get the little red heart with the x in the middle. Is there a fix for this? Thanks, Bill

Answer:Security warning

If your not using the Windows Firewall and have it turned off then turn off the security monitoring to stop getting the notification about it.

Go to Control Panel > Security Center > click on 'Change the way Security Center alerts me' > untick Firewall.

well, the first thing is: do you know what the software is? If not, I think it looks something nasty, but I'd get one of the moderators to have a look at it. also, see if you can post up a hijack this log. always put up the hijack this log.

Also the fact that it's in the system332 folder doesn't look good: you really don't want anything nasty in there

Question: Security Warning

Good Morning to everyone!!

For the past 2 weeks I've had a Security Warning window pop up when going to different web-sites and I would like to know how the heck to get rid of it. The exact words in the box are these

Security Warning

Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?
This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure
HTTPS connection which could compromise the security on the entire webpage.

Then I'm suppose to check "yes" or "no" ... Ever since this warning box has poped up I have had nothing but problems getting to webpages I look at every single day ... I am running SUPER antiSpyware and Advast Antivirus ... I also run CCleaner once a day ... I have cleaned out everything and this security window still pops up and prevents me to see web pages I've always been able to see clearly before. Any suggestions? Thanks so very much for all your time, Jodi

Answer:Security Warning

You can stop this in Internet Options.

Go to Start> Control Panel> Internet Options.

Click on the Security tab, then Custom Level. Scroll down to Display mixed content and choose Enable.

Before I start ringing o2 to check the validity of the following warning I wondered if any one else has had it. Is it genuine and am I just being paronoid?02 Wireless Box Security UpdateWe've been told about a security problem that could affect your 02 Wireless Box. The problem could let people change your router settings, which could change how it works. What we'll doWe'll set up a password automatically to protect the settings on your 02 Wireless Box. You don't need to do anything. You'll only need it if you want to change the settings. (In most cases, you'll probably never need it.) The password will be the serial number of your 02 Wireless Box. It's written on the bottom of the router. Here's how to change it.Nothing else changesWe won't change any other settings on your 02 Wireless Box. Hello
I am new to forums so please be patient with me.
My issue is with IE 7. Quite often when I try to go to a web site I get a 'Security Warning'.
You are about to view pages over a secure connection. Blah Blah Blah
At the bottom is a check box for 'In the future do not show this warning'.
See attached graphic.
No matter how many times I check the box it always comes back when I am changing from secure to unsecure and/or back.
I have tried to eliminate the warning using Tools, Internet Optoions, Advanced, Security The check box to do this is next to the last in the advanced list.
Why is this happening and how can I make it stop?
Thank you for any help you can provide.

I checked the subject in the other forums but cannot find the answer.
When I pin a program (imaging program, dictionary etc) to the taskbar it opens normally. When I create a shortcut in my links toolbar to the same program I receive the Security Warning...Do you want to open this file? How to disable this warning?

The interesting thing is that when I drag the icon from the links toolbar (which gives me the warning after I click on it) to the taskbar and click on the same icon in the taskbar, it opens normally.

Thank you

Answer:Security warning Help!

It's probably because Windows considers all executables (exe files) in the Links as files from Internet, So it gives them label as potential dangerous (As they are from internet), so it warns you before opening.

I have experimented putting Windows native paint there and it gives the same warning (so it considers all programs in links as from Internet and potential danger)

Solution:
1. Create New folder anywhere in your disk, (put your Favourite programms and links there)
2. Go to toolbars and click new toolbar. And choose the folder you created.

There should be no more warnings.
Hope it works for you

Question: Security Warning

Just verified with my bank that the popup window I got after entering my username/password was not their doing. As soon as I submitted my Username/Password to my online banking site, a pop-up window had a message that "the computer you're using is not recognized...." and there is an option on another one of my banking sites to check a box, if you intend to log in with this particular computer in the future. What popped up was prompting me for Credit Card #, CVC #, etc that was linked to the account, so it could verify me. This was the first time in a long time that I had not used this PC to log in to do my banking, so it wouldn't be surprising if the computer I was using was not recognized. Well fortunately I did not enter anything, and called the bank this morning.

The concerning thing is that what ever is on my PC is not getting picked up by MalwareBytes or Super AntiSpyware - so I'm not sure what to do. Does anyone have any idea of what other program to run to get to the bottom of whatever is running? Also, I noticed that Super AntiSpyware would not run - so I reinstalled it, did the updates and ran a full scan. Zero threats were found, but then I attempted to run Super AntiSpyware again, and it would not run - no error, nadah. So something is disregarding the user prompt to run the Super AntiSpyware software.

Hi

I've moved this to software but more so I can post this over directly moving the the malware forum in that its likely you may have malware that none of these scanners can detect and you will need specialist advise, and that's where the below guide comes in, follow it as written and once you have posted a new thread in the malware forum our experts will assess the logs and if sneeky malware is found they will give you some steps to follow, but if you are given the ok, post back in this thread, that you are all clear and we can try some other things.

Please read and follow the following READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide and once finished please start a new thread in the Malware Forum plus a guide on how to attach the logs HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post Click to expand...

Hi

I hope somebody many be able to assist?

I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 and have been using Microsoft Edge with no issues.

Recently the browser has turned blue and I have a message pop up stating, "This site says... WAIT! Your personal photos, Facebook and other personal information and passwords can be at risk. This require immediate action. Contact Tech Support Immediately. 020-3514-0756).

If I click OK then the message goes but comes straight back. I can't even close Microsoft Edge without switching off my laptop.

As a result of this I now use a different browser but would like to rectify this on Microsoft Edge.

Has anybody else experienced this and what can I do to rectify it?

About a month ago, I started having these IE security warnings popping up everytime I use IE. Some warnings went away when I clicked Don't Allow, but one particular warning came up with the Program named as Adobe flash player and the publisher being Adobe Systems Inc. This warning would come up at 3 times when I went on IE. Even when I clicked Allow or don't allow, the warning would come back up. So I thought the issue a Flash related problem and posted for help on Tech Support Guy. However, the thread I posted there seemed to have grown stagnant. I also realized that the problems aren't Flash-related, but either an IE issue or malware, because warnings come up for things like Java, and even just Microsoft Windows. I first thought that something got messed in my Internet Options, but I don't remember ever tampering with it. So I grew so tired and just checked "Do not show me the warning for this program again". I know the problem still exists though, because very rarely warnings still pop up. Please help me get rid of this annoying problem.

Answer:IE Security Warning

Hi

What version of IE are you running?

You can download the newest version of IE from here
You can download the newest version of Flash here
You can download the newest version of Java here. (You should uninstall older versions of Java before loading new versions. You can do this by going to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs)

Some web sites require minimum versions to display correctly. So if you do not have the minimum version it will request that you update the version you have.

What other warning are popping up?
Let us know if the popups are still displayed once you have run the above 3 programs. Also let us know the exact error/message that is displayed and the web site if possible.

Hi,

I was browsing a webpage and got a security warning pop-up box. A screen shot of the pop-up is attached. Is this a Win 7 security warning? I don't think it's an ESET Smart Security 7 security warning. I suspect it's a malware trick.

Thank you for your assistance.

Answer:Win 7 Security Warning?

Well, every warning about unsigned drivers I ever remember seeing went more along the lines of "Windows can't verify the publisher ......." etc. So offhand I'd agree with you about it being a malware trick. Have you ran your malware and A/V scans yet?

I've not seen this error, but you might try this:
When the error message appears, open tast manager and switch to processes tab. Look for the process that disappears from the list when you hit OK in the warning window. This might get you an idea of the application that generates the message.

Answer:Getting this security warning

   Warning
That is most definitely a scam, whatever you do don't call that number, don't allow that page open pop-ups!

You said that page will open every time you open Edge. That might be because the site has added it to the list of pages that opens whenever Edge is launched. I've see this happen when user has accidentally visited a not too safe site. Check that list first, if the page is there remove it by clicking the X after the site address. See screenshot:

Question: Security Warning

Hey,

I have a coldfusion application that contains links to some Microsoft Access files. I would like to have Microsoft Access launch when the user clicks on the links. I have the correct syntax, but the problem is that Internet Explorer is displaying the Security Warning stating "The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software". The user attempts to click on the "Run" button, but Access does not launce Access - basically nothing happens - Being in a very secure environment, I would like to disable this warning message altogether for all files. Does anyone have an answer to how this can be accomplished?

Thanks,

Craig

Answer:Security Warning

Sounds like an IE advanced tick box choice ???

This message is shown when you download an application from the Internet and the publisher of the software has not digitally signed the application. This does not necessarily mean the file is a fake or virus but files which come from large companies such as Microsoft should be signed so you can be certain of their origin.Click to expand...

It sounds like a component of Shockwave.

I would make sure you have the latest versions of Macromedia's Shockwave Player and Flash Player.

You can download them here:

Question: Security Warning

Whenever I open Help and Support and click on one of the entries I get an
Internet Explorer caution

" Your current Security settings prohibit running Active X controls on this
page. As a result the page may not display correctly "

This occurs whether I am on line or offline.

Internet Option/Security are all set at Default.

I rang Microsoft Australia and was told by them that it is caused by my AV
Program, AVG 7. I disabled that and the result was the same.

I wrote to Grisoft and they informed me that the problem wasn't caused by
AVG that it is a Windows restrictions settings.

I have tried all combinations that I can think of but the problem still persists.

I am using XP Pro with SP2 installed, but this annoyance was evident prior to the installation of SP2

Can anyone offer any assistance please?

Hello, when browsing certain websites i often get an annoying warning pop up box which says some of the content is not secure and do i want to only download the secure content which whatever option i choose seems to make no difference, is there a way to stop this persistent little box from appearing. Answer:security warning

Welcome

Run an antivirus scan

Download and run malwarebytes, they will be gone

If, however, you are going to sites that are creating and giving you the popus, your remedies are rather limited as they are coming from your own computer security.

I recently installed a trial version of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. When I tried to use my IE 8 browser, I would get a pop-up security warning that said, ?Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?? I already check the known fix for this pop up by going to IE Tools-> Internet Options-> Security, and in the Miscellaneous section changing the display mixed content to Enable. That value was already set to enable, and I was still having the problem.

Regretfully I had to uninstall the Kaspersky program, which cured the problem. I am not experiencing this problem with my Firefox which works fine.

I really wanted to purchase the Kaspersky program after the trial runs out, but now I don?t think I can use it because of this problem,

Can you help?

Answer:Security Warning from IE 8

You have to set Kaspersky protection similarly to what you did in IE or use their defaults. If you're set on buying the program, talk to their tech dept. first before risking $$$. Personally, I would go with a free AV like Avast and in addition to the firewall at your router, a free firewall in the computer.

Hi there.

I have lost sevral tabs in my Display properties window and none of my anti spyware programs can detect the problem.

I followed the instructions on this forum concerning ad-aware and after running it again, the background is now black, but i still dont have all the tabs in the properties window etc.

Symantec auto protect caught a trojan virus in a file that I downloaded yesterday and it was successfully quarantined. I have removed the file that I downloaded and also emptied quarantine folder of symantec permanently. Since then Windows Security Center keeps its red shield icon on the taskbar, saying that there is no protection against viruses. However, symantec antivirus is enabled, and there is nothing strange in operation. What can be the reason for the warning?

I'll start off by saying my computer knowledge is not that extensive, but I'm hoping to try to fix my computer. I just picked my computer up today from a small buisness computer repair shop in my hometown and had thought it was now virus free. A few hours after using my computer, the popup "Warning! Security report!" poped up from the tool bar. Under the title it says Your computer is infected! It is recommended to start spyware cleaner tool, I accidently clicked and and then immediatly closed the window.
When I looked through the forums to try to fix the problem I tried downloading your malwarebytes Anti-malware software and once I got pass the "english" window a window appeared saying " exception EInvalidOp in module mbam-setup.tmp at 778500F5. Then many windows kept popping up when I moved the mouse saying "invalid floating point operation"
I was wondering how easy it would be to fix myself, or if I should take it back to the repair shop I first took it too and have them fix it completly this time.

Thanks for your help!

Answer:Warning! Security Report

Well If you brought it to them to fix the malware they certainly didn't. We can try to get MBam running and clean if you would like. Some types of malware will disable MBAM and other security tools. If MBAM will not install, try renaming it. Right-click on the mbam-setup.exe file and change the .exe extension to .bat, .com, .pif, or .scr and then double-click on it to run.If after installation, MBAM will not run, open the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder in Program Files, right-click on mbam.exe and change the .exe as noted above. Then double-click on it to run. ***Another work around is by not using the mouse to install it, Just use the arrow keys, tab, and enter keys. You can also download and run SAS from safe mode. Please download and scan with SUPERAntiSpyware FreeDouble-click SUPERAntiSypware.exe and use the default settings for installation. An icon will be created on your desktop. Double-click that icon to launch the program. If asked to update the program definitions, click "Yes". If not, update the definitions before scanning by selecting "Check for Updates". (If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here. Double-click on the hyperlink for Download Installer and save SASDEFINITIONS.EXE to your desktop. Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place!
For the last couple of weeks this weird 'Security Warning' little box keeps opening up when I visit some websites like Amazon and eBay etc.It just appeared for no reason!
It says;
the current web pae is trying to open a site in your Trusted sites list. Do you want to allow this?
Current site http//ad.uk.doubleclick.net
Trusted site res//ieframe.dll
Yes No

I click No every time but sometimes the same messagage pops up 2, 3, or 4 times before it goes away!

What on Earth is this and how do I get rid of it once and for all?

McAfee antivirus, Spybot,Webroot Spy Sweeper and XoftSpyware say there's nothing there and the Dr. Watson utiliy in Windows says there's no problem!

This is driving me mad! Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running Windows XP Home SP2 on a Dell desktop.

Hello again. I recently purchased a new computer with Vista. I like the updated Internet Explorer 7.0, but I'm probably going to go with Firefox 2.0 I haven't decided yet. I noticed that, in Firefox, I get a Security Warning that I do not get in IE. This occurs whenever I do a Google search and other times--in fact, it happened when I tried to log into this site.

The warning goes: Security Warning, The information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party. Are you sure you want to continue sending information?

What's that all about? Is this a Vista OS issue? Is IE more secure than Firefox?

Thanks.
Iggy.

I have been trying to post a copy of an e-mail warning from Symantec. It concerns those who have previously had online security scans. For some reason I keep getting an error page. I have posted this warning with no problem on another web site

I had a Tech Support person access my computer via a Live Remote assistance software program to solve a problem i was having with their website.

The Tech support person went and reset all my settings to Default without asking me first, so i couldn't write down the settings i had been using first.

Most of the settings i believe were in the Tools/Internet settings section.

Now when i go to Ebay, Paypal, and a variety of other sites, this 'Security Alert' window pops up. I have to click yes about 7 times for it to finally go away and if i view the cert. and accept it. The Sec. Warning window shows up again the next time i re-visit the website.

The Tech support guy tried a number of things yesterday but still no luck.

Can any of you experts please advise what i need to do to either stop the notification or just automatically accept every cert?

Thanks,

stevo

All of a sudden I am getting a Internet Security Warning box pop up when I load Outlook Express. It contains these words:
"The Server you are connected to is using a Certificate that could not be verified.
The Certificate's CN name does not match the posted value.
Do you want to continue using this Server?"

Below this are two boxes indicate "Yes" or "No".

I have XP Home, Internet Explorer Version 6.0 and the only thing I did today before this started happening was to try to get one of my email address in Outlook Express that was not getting through, to work. I tried working with the Authentication choices, but nothing improved it so I took it off line.

I have rebooted, disconnected and reconnected my modem/router, to no avail.

If this sounds addressable to anyone please advise. dde

Answer:Internet Security Warning

Sounds to me like the "Incoming mail server" and "Outgoing mail server" settings are wrong.

The website of your ISP should give you the information that should be in those settings.

im using windows xp sp2 and i have disabled both windows firewall and virus protectin but i still can access some exe filescan anyone help me to disable this bleep

Answer:can anyone help me plz with this(windows security warning)

Rather than disabling all your security features just have the sender zip the file and you will be able to receive it. It will also send much more quickly in some instances.

Its a really bad idea to use MSN without anti-virus protection.

Hi All,I'm on here on behalf of a friend who cannot use his PC due to a virus. He accessed a site via Google and received a warning that his PC was infected with harmful trojan viruses, which told him to click here to get rid of these. Unfortunately, he clicked and allowed the site to download some software on to his PC.Now his desktop icons are missing and he cannot access control panel or his AVG icon. Each time he does a warning comes up to say he's infected and to buy their security or continue unprotected.Any advice, please?

Answer:Bogus security warning

Turn off PC completely - wait several minutes, then re-start in Safe Mode. While in Safe Mode, try a System Restore back to before the problem arose. If that works, then run all his Anti-everything programs.

Hi All!

How can I remove the security warnings from IE8?

Answer:Remove security warning from IE 8?

I'm pretty certain that you can't remove the ssl certificate message. If you could that would allow a malware app to trick you into going to look-alike sites for banking and such.

The https error, I'm not sure on.

Just re-formatted and re-installed everything, including IE8. Never had a problem before, but now when I log onto my home page, I get a security warning that says:

'Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered
securely?
This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS
connection, which could compromise the security of the entire webpage.'

How can I change my settings so that I don't have to answer 'NO' every time I hit this (and other) page?
Thanks

Answer:Norton Security Warning

Hello,Some remarks first..I see you have Error Nuker and Adware Alert installed. I do not recommend both of them, because AdwareAlert was on the blacklist before and I still don't trust it, and the same goes for ErrorNuker, because it's from the same company as SpywareNuker by Trek Blue Software and is also on the blacklist. This means, the scanners/tools NOT to install. You can find the complete list of scanners not to install in my signature.I see your Hostsfile got modified to connect to some p2p domains. I see mainly references to kazaa, kazaa lite and edonkey present. In case you have Kazaa, Kazaa lite or Edonkey installed, I strongly recommend you uninstall it. Reason is because they contain spyware. You'll find a list here what p2p programs are infected and which ones are "safe" to use:http://p2p.malwareremoval.com/Now concerning your Norton, well, I see you have Norton Internet Security installed. Norton Internet Security contains a firewall. But I see you have Zonealarm Firewall present as well.Having more than one firewall present/running can cause huge problems, because they are NOT compatible with eachother and may interfere with eachother and even block eachothers firewall. And I see some components of your Norton got corrupted/missing as well. So, what I recommend here is uninstall Zonealarm. Then uninstall Norton Internet Security and reinstall it again. To fully remove Norton AntiVirus, you should go here and download the files and print the instructions ... Read more
