I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Howdy Folks.... I've been using an old stickies note utility for many years called ToDo. It does everything I want. Has a reminder feature, print, unlimited entries, etc. nice little program... The problem is it has recently developed a small annoyance. It won't startup when I boot into windows. I have a shortcut in the startup folder to do this and it's worked for a long time. After running a defrag, it started to come up with a dialog window that says simply "Could not load empty document" and closes the app

When I start the program manually after startup, it works just as always. As I said, it's an old program and is no longer available and I don't seem to have the executable to reinstall it. The executable may be in my old Descktop, but it's not operational right now. So I've Googled a LOT of sites today and cannot find any similar program free. There are some trial progs available that last 30 days, but I'm looking for freeware.

Any ideas, recommendations or referrals would be greatly appreciated.

Found this way more usefull then regular pieces of paper laying around.

You can export the note to the desktop or edit it anytime.

Answer:Post it note program

Just to note (no pun intended): this appears to be a Windows (desktop) and Windows Phone (mobile) only app - no Android or iOS and no Linux or OS X support. Windows has had "sticky notes" since Vista but I've never found a use for 'em myself, I just keep a text file on the Desktop and add stuff to it whenever I need a 'scratchpad' at random times but I can see where this type of cross-device tool would prove useful for some folk.

I've found a few posts from people whose Windows 7 sticky notes program isn't opening. I've got a different problem.

Mine opens fine, and I can use it like normal...except when I click the little X to close a sticky note I no longer need, nothing happens. There's no warning for confirmation, and nothing deletes. It just sits there.

So this means that any time I accidentally click a +, there's another sticky note I don't want. Every time I'm done with one, it's an extra blank.

If I delete stickynotes.snt, then it does clear them all out, and when I open Sticky Notes the next time, it's back down to one small note. But that, of course, is an all-or-nothing way of deleting them!

I'm almost wondering if the warning that used to pop up still is, but is showing way off my screen somehow, so nothing deletes, because I'm not clicking "okay" to confirm it. Is there any way to find out?

Or... I do have another Windows 7 computer with the program working fine on it... is there a file somewhere that I could copy from that one to this one, that would fix it?

What to do if you have deleted a Sticky Note by mistake.

As someone earlier noted, Sticky Notes are saved in the file C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Sticky Notes\StickyNotes.snt

This only saves the current screen.  If you use a backup program, you can use it to restore an earlier version, where you may find the note you deleted.  When you restore the file, it will be in the above location, but will have been given a new file type.  Instead of .snt, it will be .snx, where x indicates a version number (sn0, sn1, sn2, etc).  To open this, you will have to rename it as a ,snt. file.  Before you do this however, rename your current file as a different .snx or it will be deleted.

After you have recovered the deleted note, copy it onto a Notepad, then go to the above file and rename your previous current file as an .snt to get it back.  When you have it back, you can paste the recovered note from Notepad onto a new Sticky Note.

As someone else said, the better way is just to copy your notes onto Notepad and save them in a file regularly.  You can leave the originals up on the screen so that they will be handy, but can rest easy knowing that you have an easily accessible back up.

it always opened up when I start my pc desktop, but not today. Did a search and all i can find is the application which is bare. I have made a backup a few weeks ago, but unfortunately, i am looking for something that i added to it a few days ago and that is why I hope i can find it. This has happened once before a couple of years ago and I was lucky to find it, but I forgot how I did that. That is why i made a backup copy on occasions. It seems to my way of thinking, though i am not sure, that the notes could only hold so much text and then automatically disappears. I know that I did not intentionally deleted it. Why does windows make this happen? Hope someone can recall how to get it back...in the meantime I guess I have to do some more searching.

Answer:Sticky note disappeared

Instead of using the Sticky Notes app, why don't you use the Notepad and/or Wordpad app for creating and saving and editing notes?

Hello Surfer25,

I don't know that you can. Try adding a stickynotes shortcut to your 'startup' folder. That should make them come back when you boot up.

Hi,
I'm having trouble with my sticky note in that I can see it when hover my mouse over the taskbar but when I click on it to maximize it - it doesn't open. I have a bunch of information on it that I can't lose. I'm scared to click on the X because I did that on another sticky note thinking that it would ask me to save it, but it didn't, it just deleted it. I've tried looking for the file and sending it to my co-worker to see if she can open it, but she couldn't. I created another note and now that one shows on top of the old one but the new one does show up on my desktop. Help!

Answer:I can see my Sticky Note but it doesn't open...

Hello Gaby, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Don't click on the X. That'll close and delete the sticky note.

Check using the tutorial below to see if the sticky note may just be off screen. If so, you could drag it back on-screen.

Hi,

I would like to ask a question on sticky note.

Is there any way to change the default font of it, to prevent it from displaying the handwritten like font and uses standard font such as Arial, Georgia and so on?

I am not asking how to make bold, italic or underline fonts since they can be easily controlled using shortcuts.

Thanks,
Bob

Answer:How to change sticky note font?

Windows uses Segoe Print font as default in the sticky note.
With some modifications with that font, you can use other fonts as to change the default font in the Sticky Note.

1 Start

2 Run - type regedit

3 Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts

4 on right pane Find "Segoe Print (TrueType)" and "Segoe Print Bold (TrueType)" - double click (don't forget to change both - one by one)

optional - you can delete other Segoe fonts - select(one click), press Del, press Yes

5 Change the value(double click on font) to the file name of any other font that you wish to use that is already installed - for "times new roman" it should be times.ttf .

6 Restart the computer.

A few build releases ago, I started having a severe Sticky Note typing lag.

This does not occur anywhere else in Windows Explorer or Apps, such as typing this thread in a browser or using Microsoft Suite.

As an example, I typed "How long should it take to type this message?" in a Word Document, Browser, and Sticky Notes. In the first two, it took less than 5 seconds and characters appears instantly. In Sticky notes, only "How L" was visible in the same initial time period and it took over 65 seconds before the last character finally appeared.

Microsoft seemed to fix one issue, and created two more. I no longer have to double tap the alt key each time Sticky Note window was active in order to enable scrolling. But, I have this strange delay and lost formatting ability to create lists. See keyboard shortcuts.

Bitlocker isn't a download, it's built into Windows.

BitLocker Drive Encryption - Internal Data Hard Drives - Turn On or Off
But notice the Warning in the tutorial -

BitLocker is only available in the Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise editions.

You appear to have Home Premium, so Bitlocker wouldn't be available in your Edition. Might look into something like TrueCrypt or similar as an alternative. TrueCrypt

I read the above security advice and decided to download the Javacool Spyware blaster from the link in the sticky. This is the page it took me to http://www.superantispyware.com/index.html I just went ahead and downloaded as advised, started a scan and while it was going on, went to husbands computer to download it on his from the sticky. Thats when I noticed that the page was different from the one I used...blue in colour as opposed to bright and red.
Went back and tried right clicking the sticky link again it went to the superantispywware site and not the Javacool. Tried again and it went to javacool. Of course I am going to uninstall the superantispyware programme and hope it removes cleanly. Will use revo uninstaller.

Do I have a problem or is the problem with the link?

I am new to windows 8 - i got a new laptop with it so it wasn't my chocie
Among many things, there is one thing that makes me cry. Lack of those sticky notepads on the desktop. I always had them in windows 7 and I really miss them and I can't find anything like that for Windows 8.
I downloaded several apps for that from windowsstore but they don't allow you to 'stick' them on normal desktop. They work only on that weird desktop and you have to enter the app to see your notes. Not very usefull.
So I was wondring if anyone here can help me with that
Is there any way you can have a sticky notes on normal screen, just like in windows 7 ?

Answer:sticky memo note pads

exactly what do you use the sticky notes for? there are many to do apps in the Windows Store. as well as more traditional sticky type notes. for many of the apps, you can pin the stickies to the start screen. you don't have to launch the app to see the notes.

for a to-do list, I have a very basic one called to-dos. it's very small and light but it let's you see your to-dos from the start screen without opening the app.
there are lots of them out there but this one does what I need so I just kind of stuck by it even though it is very plain.

for sticky note type apps:

I like Sticky Tiles. You can have either a small tile or a full size tile for your sticky. It lets you do multiple colors as well as multiple styles. And the pins look great on the start screen. The only negative I saw was that once you choose your sticky's size, you can't later change it. You can only choose the size of the sticky at the creation of the note.

Memo Stick is pretty good. it has a cork board screen to pin multiple stickies of different colors. and then you can also pin these stickies to the start screen. not only does it let you pin individual stickies, but its main app is a live tile that'll rotate through your stickies. the only negative is the font for the pinned stickies on the start screen can be too small depending on the resolution of the screen.

there's task which has a single screen that looks like a cork board where you pin stickies to. but there's no start screen stick... Read more

Hello folks, simple question here,
I have one note 2007 installed on my pc and want to just make a small tweak to it that is a nuicannce in my opinion more than an atcual problem. What i want to do is when onenote closes (meaning the main application) i want to have its tray application close itself. Trust me, it is useful and i have been reviewing this application and like it for starting college but find it annoying how i have the tray application open even when the program is closed. If someone could tell me how to do this it would be appreciated. And i do know about disabling the icon but i dont want to do that as the tray application i find has plenty of usefull features.

Sticky Note does not have any toolbox to format the text, like making it bold or underlined, larger or smaller in size etc. So, here is a list of keyboard commands which can do so. Just highlight the text you wish to format and use the following keyboard commands:- Bold: CTRL+B
Italic: CTRL+I
Underline: CTRL+U
Strikethrough: CTRL+T
Increase size of text: CTRL+SHIFT+>
Decrease size of text: CTRL+SHIFT+<
Bullet list: CTRL+SHIFT+L (once)
Numbered list: CTRL+SHIFT+L (twice)
Lettered list (a, b, c, etc.): CTRL+SHIFT+L (three times)
Lettered list (A, B, C, etc.): CTRL+SHIFT+L (four times)
Roman numeral list (i, ii, iii, iv, etc.): CTRL+SHIFT+L (five times)

I have a problem and I want to know if is there any solution that could help me.
I wrote a note on my note gadget on windows vista but accidentally I deleted it and I want to know if there is any way to recover the info I had in it.
Thanks for your help!

Answer:How to recover deleted note on vista note gadget

There will be still something remaining in the file where Sticky Notes save the notes to. This can be found in

%AppData%\Microsoft\Sticky Notes\StickyNotes.snt

put this in search bar and you'll get a file in search results, click on it and then open it with Notepad. you'll find all your important notes in it.

I did not realize that if you 'X' out a sticky note on a computer it would delete it. I was updating a program software and it said to close out everything so I did including the sticky notes. These sticky notes were real important to everyday work. Can you restore a desktop to a certain period in time to bring back the sticky notes.

Answer:How can you bring a sticky note back if deleted in error.

Hmm, try thisNavigate to C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Sticky Notes directory, right click on StickyNotes.snt, and select Restore Previous Versions. This will pull the file from your latest restore point, if available.
If you close the Sticky Note by right-clicking it on the taskbar, although it closes the Sticky Note application. Your notes should return and the same principle applies when you restart your pc.

I keep two sticky note gadgets on my desktop. Always have, probably always will. My last reinstall was this last October I believe and I have been filling the sticky notes up with whatever important info I need to. I noticed the other day that they were getting laggy. When I mouse over them, the controls on the right don't pop up right away. When I try to enter text, it's really slow as if catching up to what I'm typing. Scrolling through the info on the notes is a pain and laggy. I figured maybe it was time to backup the text on the sticky notes and start new, so I did just that. But the nw sticky notes are the same way; slow and laggy to work with. This has never happened before as I've always used them this way without any strange issues. Does anyone know what might be going on? Is there some sort of gadget cache I can clear to fix the problem? It's happening only with the sticky notes, everything else on the machine works just fine. System is in the sig. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64. The sticky note gadget itself is the one from Vista (I can't stand the default Windows 7 sticky notes, so I've always stuck with the Vista version).

Thanks in advance!

Answer:Sticky Note gadget performance got crappy. Ideas?

could just be that the vista version sucks in windows 7.. other thing you could try doing is closing and reopening the gadget see if that fixes it.. or run task manager and watch the processes while you are using sticky note and see if anything unusual happens(e.g. excessive memory or cpu usage when using it).. i know the few times i used any of the gadgets in windows 7 after a few days or weeks one or more of the gadgets would peg my cpu at 100% for absolutely no reason until i'd close and restart the gadget. it was always a different gadget each time though so i could never pin point exactly which one caused it so i just quit using them completely.

Some built-in programs have suddenly disappeared from the 'Accessories' folder in the Start Menu, including Sticky Note, Snipping Tool, Sound Recorder, and the Tablet PC Tools folder has been emptied too, and maybe even more programs that I'm not aware of. (I don't know why this happened; the only reason I can think of is maybe that I ran a Tune-Up from my antivirus program.)

There are other options.

Firstly we can recreate the icons, this would probably be the easiest, as the files are still inside system32 it means just the shortcut files are missing.

Firstly please map to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Start Menu
-Can you see the Accessories folder?

Open the Accessories folder, can you see all your missing icons inside here?

If you are missing them I have attached a copy of my Accessories folder, just copy and paste the missing ones into your Accessories Folder

Hi,

I have a problem. Recently, I've been burning DVD-Rs and using post-it notes to label them. I put them on the top of the disc (non-shiny surface.)

Unfortunately, I had just placed a DVD-R with a post it still on it. When placed into the DVD-RW drive, it made a paper-plastic scratching noise. I realised what I had done and instantly ejected the disc, but it was stuck inside.

I cannot see the paper. When I eject the disc, I hear the scratching noise, but when I play a DVD-R on it, I can't hear the paper.
Could anyone please provide insight/a solution? Is there any way I can extract the post-it myself, or would I need any extra tools, or what? I can't even see the post it.

I am running Win 7 on a Dell XPS M1210. It a 1GB hard drive, which, initially, ran Win 7 fantastically. That was a week ago. Now, I turn it on ( with NO cords accept the power cord), the RAM indicator shows 75%. As I type this, I only have this window open, 83%. I am waiting for another mem. stick to put in it. Until then what can I do to free memory for RAM? I have tried messing with the paging system, but I was not comfortable doing that. Fortunately, I knew what I changed, so I changed it back QUICKLY because I did not see any progress.

Answer:Note enough free RAM

HiHave you checked to see nothing is using up the RAM? No programs running that are ram hogs, nothing running that shouldn't be? What about virus checking? No malware chewing up the system?Just a few things I could think of that I'd check if I had that problem.CheersRazor

I have a new win 10 laptop and I see that one note is installed for free. I would like to use One Note but there I have a question first. I want all my notebooks to be saved on my laptop only (no syncing or saving copies in the Cloud); what we used to call Local Notebook. Yet when I start my free One Note the first thing it asks for is my email address which gives me the impression that I will not have local notebooks but synced notebooks. Is that the way it MUST be? Thanks in advance.

Answer:New win 10 laptop and free One Note

Your E-Mail address is used by your Microsoft Account, may be how you log onto Win10.

This is by far the most difficult issue to explain what I see. Whenever I point to some files in Windows Explorer or similar program a yellow "sticky note" displays with either the filename or occasionally a summary of the details of the file such as Date Modified, Size etc. I find it really annoying since it covers up an area such as other files etc.

I have tried "Disable Notification Area Balloon Tips in Windows XP" and "EnableBalloonTips" registry entry is already set to '0' plus I even recreated and still no go...still appears. Does not appear on every file but once in a while it will happen/

Attached is a basic sample where I pointed to a jpg.....

Any help to remove this pop is very much appreciated.

There are a few things MS seem to be missing the point on in Windows 7. One is the ability to quickly stick a note on the desktop by right-clicking and going to "New->Sticky Note". I remember adding something to the "New" menu in XP some time back so I'm wondering if there's a way to do this.

Answer:Add "New->Sticky Note" to desktop context menu?

hey guys, i really love how i can use firefox on multiple machines because of its cross platform nature. i've been using Word 2007 to take notes, and it's ok, but i think there must be something better out there. i like the idea of having tabs like in Firefox for different topics to right notes about like 'to buy at shops', 'to pickup after work' etc. is there anything like this out there?

thanks

I"m not sure I understand you. Are you saying that you can see all of your saved Sticky Notes from before you restored your computer to Factory Defaults, but when you try to open it, it comes up blank?
If you restored your computer to Factory Defaults, then this erases all your files, you shouldn't be able to see any of your previous notes.
You can try Recuva to try and recover your lost notes.

Hi everyone. A newbie here and my very first post.

My Windows 7 PC (Dell Studio 1555) developed an odd problem just a few days ago. When I play music or video that has a music soundtrack in it, and if I close the program by hitting the little "x" on the upper-right-hand corner of the program window (versus going the "File-Exit" route), the last note of whatever the music that has been playing keeps on playing. The program, be it WMP or RealPlayer, or YouTube or Hulu or in case cases, a java applet that plays music, is shut down and gone by that time, and the music no longer plays. But the final note, be it C or D or G or whatever, stays on until I intervene. I can shut it up by playing another song, for instance, which I then close by the "File-Exit" routine.

To put it another way, this behavior never happens if I "properly" go the "File-Exit" route.

The sound of the "note" is not fluid, but rather, it is as if vibrating, meaning that the same note sounds as if cycling on and off (Not "G_________" but more like "GGGGGGGGG").

As I mentioned, this problem suddenly started happening a few days ago. No modification of any kind had been made to this PC, at least not knowingly. It is subject to automatic updates of all kinds, however, so invisible updates to any of the software could have happened in the meantime. No hardware mods have been made, though.

Have any of you encountered this? And if s... Read more

Hello, I've started to study C++ and I am in a strong need of a program, for making notes, while reading a book. At this moment I am using MS word swiched to web page view. To clearly represent what I want, here is the screenshot

I want it to:
Being able to create tables
Being able to change text formatting style in one click (like using styles in MS word) or at least the text color. (using color picker every time is impermissible inconvenient)
Display document in endless page view without any any kind of page breaks like usual text processors do.
And the main problem is that I want another program for my iPad, so I can continue my study on the go, while syncing the notes file via dropbox.
All text processors for iOS that I've tried (apple pages, google docs) either display documents, created in MSword web page view, incorrectly, or have very limited functionality.
The only one that I found usable is Microsoft word for iOS, but for a web page view in iOS it requires an office 365 subscription that is too expensive for poor countries I use to live in atm. (I can afford one-time purchase soft, but not the subscription)
I appreciate any advice you give, thanks

Windows 7 comes with Sticky Notes, which is very nice. I use it often enough that I would like to put it in the list of options when you right click and choose "New". What is the best way to do that?
For that matter, what is the best way to trim this list, as it has stuff in it that serves no useful purpose for me.
I'll bet there is already a thread for this, if someone could please point me to it, I would be grateful.

Answer:Win7 - how to Add "Sticky Note" to right click "New".

Okay, Google is my friend. I found out how to trim the list, but I still don't know exactly how to add Sticky Notes to it.

So I booted up One Noe 2010 this morning and got a pop up from it telling me to upgrade it. The button sent me to a legit MS website:
http://www.onenote.com/download/?MajorVer=14&Ver=14.0.7140&Display=1

I'm not really sure what's going on here. Is it offering to upgrade me for free to OneNote 2013? Why would MS do that?

Answer:One Note upgrade pop up? Free upgrade 2010-2013?

The standard version One Note 2013 is now free so if you have 2010 there is really no reason not to download and upgrade to One Note 2013. Anyone can download the full standard version of One Note 2013 by going to http://www.onenote.com/

The business version which adds Sharepoint support, Outlook/Exchange integration, etc is not free and is still available to purchase for enterprise customers but that doesn't really matter to most home users. I don't think most of enterprise features were in One Note 2010 anyway.

Looking for online typing program or online note-taking program online can be used on any computer with internet connection?

Does anyone know of some thing online similar to Google Docs? That has typing program or note-taking program online?

I'm looking for a basic typing program or note-taking program similar to Google Docs.

Must be some other companies out there like Google Docs that has typing program or note-taking program.

I tried EverNotes but I did not like the program. The free one you can only have it on two computers. And it saves it every where not just the cloud!!

And I did not want to go with Google or Yahoo. I did not care for the Microsoft online office programs.

Not sure if OpenOffice or LibreOffice has online cloud office suite.

Question: Note to Self

Hi,

I made a note to myself yesterday to sort out my computer. At time it is tortue to operate this machine. Just the pauses and inconsistency of performance paticularly regarding internet surfing.

Is there any help with using Combofix?

I Think this may help, as my computer bleeps very regularly! I've been putting up with it for a long time.

The normal programs I use are

Super Anti Spyware
Malware Bytes Anti malware
AVG PC Tune Up - 2011
Uniblue - Speed up my PC - 2009
Spybot

Currently running Comodo Security Suite for Firewall, virus, and spyware protection.

Operating System - Windows XP
Service Pack 2
32 bit
1.67 GHz, 256MB RAM

Thanks

D

Answer:Note to Self

You are seriously under - memory. Only 256Mb means that there is a lot of swapping to the hard drive going on. I'd bet the hard drive activity light stay pretty much on.

I would suggest going to at least 1Gb of memory. If you can post the make and model I might be able to be of more help. If it is a no name brand then what make and model of motherboard please.

1.6Ghz can run OK with enough memory.

Also you should be running SP3. Once the memory is upgraded and it is running OK then that should be the next step.

Cheers

Question: Note.com????

I was browsing some pages and then i see new tab opening with "Note.com", wot says its not a good site...................

What was that??

Edit: sorry for: ??? In title!

Answer:Note.com????

Have you installed a toolbar or something? Some get installed when you installed other software. Also, what browser do you use? And does "Note.com" open at startup of the browser?
The pages opened on startup can be easily edited:
1. Go to the settings of your Internet-Browser. Try to find the place where you can select which pages will be opened on startup.
2. Change it.
3. Done!
Note.com is also not a used domain right now. As you may see; the page tries to sell you the domain. This means that the domain is registered, but not used currently.
I don't think Note.com is a bad site. By Googlin' it you get the text: You found note.com, so will your customers. It's a great label for your website and will help you define your identity on the Web.
Also; My Norton Antivirus doesn't report it as bad.
Hope this helps!

Question: One Note

I know OneNote 2k7 used to have a "Print To Onenote" plugin, and i cant for the life of me find this. I've been in need of pulling in PDF's to some of my notes and i cannot figure it out.

Also, how does Onenote react if i move the notebook directory? I want to move it to my dropbox folder (other stuff in dropbox so changing that is a no-go), so i have easy access to my notes on my desktop.

Answer:One Note

When you install OneNote there should also be a OneNote printer driver and you simply print to that. Also a notebook directory can be anywhere, just move the notebook directory to where you want and open it from within OneNote and it should become a tab on the left. In windows 7 I simply pin OneNote tee the tank bar for quick access.

Question: A net for a note

Yes, I, the big shot here, have a question for you. :P

Let's start out by saying, my netbook; light, superb battery life, enough "umph" to run the basics.

The thing that bugs me about it is; The screen being only 10.1", a little small for viewing webpages; It's not like "sloooow", just want it a little bit faster, higher than max 2GB RAM and Atom processor.

I currently run Ubuntu on it, yet it is still a bit slow. As much as I have learned to like Ubuntu, it really isn't working on here. Works great with my HDPC, EeeBox EB1006HB, though.

Can I, perhaps, sell my Eee 1005HA netbook, for ~$100, and give ways some of the money for a new one?

This is what I'm looking for:

At least a 15" LCD
Intel i3/AMD equivalent
4GB RAM
Any capacity HDD/SSD
As long as the battery lasts more than 1 hour, I'm happy.
Windows 7 Home Premium is fine.
I think everything else is standard.

Price I'm looking for is max $500. This is not a gaming laptop, a simple on-the-go PC.

Please stay in Newegg.

(please don't mention HP's)

Hi

Please could someone explain how I do a Web Note as I am confused by this.

Also suppose I want to make a Web Note, how would I Copy it to paste it as an answer to a question on someone's Forum.

Example: Someone asks: What was the date they first manufactured product X?

I find the answer on another Web Page, highlight the date of manufacture of product X on this page but I now want to paste the Highlighted Answer on this other Forum. How would I do that.

Would I first have to save it in my Pictures or something?

It is apparently due to content and keyword relavacy to the content

your keywords are relevent to your sites purpose and the content

Question: One Note software

Hello

I'm interested in the Microsoft One Note software. I have some questions about it as a novice user. First, what are the differences in the versions that they have. Secondly, I'm a hopeful law school student in the near future so I liked the feature of being able to use voice recognition to help me with taking notes. Realistically how good are the words going to be recognized so I will be able to make sense of whats on the screen later. Also do i need voice recognition software in addition to this and if so what recommendations would anyone have.

I have a laptop with Windows XP media edition so what type of microphone would be good to get that would be good for voice recognition software. I would like something small and compact so it wouldn't draw attention to the instructor.

Thanks

Question: Note taking

I'm looking at buying one of the new 2 in 1 notebooks. I want to take handwritten notes in tablet form and translate them into Word Documents. What is the best way to do that?

Answer:Note taking

Hi, The following link shows software you need     https://support.office.com/en-ie/article/Take-notes-in-your-own-handwriting-46FE3AB9-5747-4820-B646-... The next thing is to buy a machine which SUPPORTS active stylus (note, not all touch machines support this feature) such as HP Spectre x360 machines. Regards.

I am really totally frustrated with the Acronis web site. I am a native English-speaker, I am temporarily living in Belgium - in the Dutch speaking area. So why the h**** do the Acronis web programmers think I want to go to the French site? I don't. And I can't get onto their .com site. It keeps throwing me to the French site. Not very sensible to say the least!Turning off cookies doesn't work either.I bought the software in the UK and it is in English.Moral: You can be too "helpful". Check any assumptions you make about users. Stop trying to control users. Let them choose for themselves.I am now totally p******* off with Acronis.

Answer:What not to do -Acronis take note!

When you're on the French site, click on the language selector at top left, and select the European English site.To save you the trouble of even having to do that, click here

How to install windows xp on this HP model HP 630 NOTE BOOK PC i tried to preview the Bios environment but i could not see where to change SATA to IDE option.

Answer:WIN XP ON HP 630 NOTE BOOK PC

In the Bios look for HDD Mode or SATA. Here change the HDD mode from AHCI to IDE or Compatibility mode.
If you can't find that and are having problems getting the SATA drive recognized, then you can slipstream the SATA driver into your XP Disc with nLite.

We get a fair number of emails as you can imagine, and we try to respond to all of them (although at busy times some slip past us). I'm seeing more and more replies to AOL users bouncing, and this is no doubt the result of AOL's silly and draconian anti-spam measures. If you have emailed me from an AOL adress and haven't had a reply, that will be the reason.

Answer:AOL users please note

I have today posted this note of complaint to Oftel click here I would recommend everyone who has encountered this to post a similar complaint. I don't yet know if they have any jurisdiction, but a large enough volume of complaints may make them take some notice anyway. ------------------------------------------------- AOL have instituted a "SPAM" blocking regime, which routinely blocks legitimate and legal non-spam emails from private individuals and businesse to AOL users. Their policy/technology blocks all emails from specific ISPs when inuse - not merely those shown to be containing "SPAM". I know this to have been applied to all emails from Wanadoo Spain at one time - and have reprots that it has been applied to other ISPs, including UK based ones. I feel this is unwarranted and illegal interference with legitimate communications traffic, and would like to see them told to caese this policy and fix their technology. -------------------------------------------------
