Solved: Stuttering Sony Bluetooth Wireless Speakers Problem

Question: Solved: Stuttering Sony Bluetooth Wireless Speakers Problem

My daughter (who lives in London) recently purchased Sony SRS-BTM30 Bluetooth Wireless Speakers so that she could listen to MP3 music stored on her Sony Vaio N11H laptop (with Windows XP Home pre-installed). The problem is that all music/sound from the speakers is totally unrecognisable because it is 'stuttering' or 'hacking' so much (sorry I can't explain it in better terms...). A friend informed her that the problem is probably being caused by her BT Broadband Router/LAN connection. Can any member advise whether this might be what's causing the 'stuttering' sound? If not then can anyone please advise as to what might be the cause of the problem. I thought it might be the Belkin bluetooth adapter being slightly out of range, but my daughter informed me that she has tried using the speakers within a range of a few inches up to ~10m and it still makes no difference.... PLEASE HELP

P.S. My daughter also connects to the internet using an 802.11b/g wireless connection.

The Sony Vaio N11H laptop spec (from what I can recall) is as follows:

1.8GHz Dual Core Intel Processor
1GB Memory
160GB Hard Drive
5.1 On-board Sound
Sony DVD Burner
802.11b/g
Belkin F8T012uk Bluetooth USB+EDR Adapter Class 1 V2

The Sony SRS-BTM30 Bluetooth Wireless Speakers spec is as follows:

Bluetooth A2DP/AVRCP/HFP/HSP Compatible
Bluetooth Class 2 (2.5mW) Output
Bluetooth Version: 2.0
Frequency: 2.4 GHz band (2.402 GHz - 2.480 GHz)
Output Power: 6W (3W + 3W)
Speaker Impedance: 4 Ohms
Signal Range: 10m (Line of sight)

I can obtain further details if required..... Thanks in advance

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: Solved: Stuttering Sony Bluetooth Wireless Speakers Problem

In my original post I stated that my daughter's laptop was a Sony Vaio "N11H". The model number I typed was in fact incorrect and should have been "N11S".

Sorry about that....

In neither instance does the Sony appear. Suggestion? Mark

I am one of these old fashioned people who runs a tower base unit and a separate monitor - But I would like to play my music from this PC to others rooms......my thinking was that I would need a bluetooth dongle - and some bluetooth speakers ? .......or could I just get away with Wifi speakers ?

I have a terrible taste in music - so don't want to spend loads......any suggestions...... [uk based poster}

Answer:Bluetooth (or Wireless Speakers) Questions

Bluetooth would be the way to go, however I don't know the distance capabilities of Bluetooth. I don't know anything about wi-fi external speakers. There are wireless devices available - you connect the wireless transmitter to the PC's analog sound output and the receiver to the powered speakers. These will work in separate rooms.

Just installed Sennheiser MB Pro 2 UC Bluetooth wireless headset and cannot hear sounds but can hear via desktop speakers (Bose).
The Volume Mixer for Device shows:
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Headset Earphone (2 ? Sennheiser BTD 800 USB)

If choose Speaker, sounds are good (i.e. can hear them) but if choose Headset nothing !

The Headset is used for Dragon NaturallySpeaking and the microphone works fine.

Sennheiser messages (i.e. Power on and Talk Time) can be heard okay.

Attempting to run Braven 705 speakers with the computer below. Located the device under 'Devices' and when right clicking on the icon, clicking control results in the error message 'This operation failed to initialised.'

Have run services.msc and adjusted the bluetooth service to 'automatic' and restarted it. Rebooted the computer. Same problem.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Answer:Solved: Bluetooth and Braven Speakers - Failed to initialise

Paired bluetooth device will not connect
Turn the BRAVEN 705 off and back on.
Remove the BRAVEN 705 from the pairing list of your Bluetooth device (refer to the device’s owner’s manual for support). Then pair the device and your BRAVEN 705 again.
Reset the history of paired devices on the BRAVEN by pressing and holding the play button for 3 seconds until you hear the system enter pairing mode. Release the button and then press and hold the play button for 7 more seconds. You will hear a beep followed by the speaker playing the turn on sound again. This indicates that all previous connection history has been erased and the speaker is ready to be paired with a new device.

My keyboard won't stay connected to the Bluetooth. Windows disabled the Bluetooth and gave this messge: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)." What is this and how do I fix it? I can't get my Logitech K810 keybaord to stay connected. It pairs, and works for awhile, then disconnests, even though it says it is connected. Driver update says the drivers in place are the right ones. I've also tried Bluetooth dongles to connect with, but I get the same problem -- connects for a while and then disconnects.

Hi Satellite users,

I recently had a problem getting my Toshiba Satellite P50t-B running Windows 10 to detect (and hence connect) to my Sony MDR-XB50BS Bluetooth Headphones. The symptom of the problem was that the "MDR-XB50BS" device didn't appear in the list of available devices on the Windows Activity Centre "Connect" screen, nor in the Windows Settings -> Devices -> Bluetooth and other devices -> Add a device screen. Since the device never appeared, I couldn't connect to it.

The solution to the problem turned out to be upgrading my Toshiba Satellite BIOS from version 1.10 to BIOS version 1:50 available on the Drivers & Updates tab of the Toshiba Satellite Support site. The release notes mention a Bluetooth issue being corrected in version 1.40 and while I can't say for certain that this is the same issue I encountered, updating the BIOS was the last thing that I tried before the problem went away, and it's reasonable to expect that a relatively new technology like Bluetooth might have had early implementation bugs.

The other point to note is that if you've already paired the headphones with another device, like I had with my iPhone, then you have to hold the power button down for 7 seconds at power on in order to enter Bluetooth pairing mode first time you try to connect it to the Satellite.

I hope this helps someone someday!

Cheers,
Graham

Once I plug my headphones in or my hearing aids bluetooth device in, it all goes south. The internal speakers continue to work as does the bluetooth, but nothing is coming out of the headphones. Since I was once in IT, this problem is unique to the jack itself. Either the jack lifted up or was pushed back and never properly tested. The hook, I just received this computer 3 weeks ago to replace a faulty HDMI out port. I was told that there would be an open ticket so if I had any problems with this computer it would be attended to. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

Hello,

I am currently working on a homemade project in my free time called Project Surround. I am trying to get a full surround sound setup in my room. I have 2 wired speakers in the front and a Bluetooth speaker in the back. The problem is I need both the wired and Bluetooth speakers to play at the same time. Any way I can do that?

Answer:Play Audio from Wired Speakers and Bluetooth Speakers at the same time

Windows only allows one default audio playback device, thus unless you can find some third party app that will allow both, you won't be able to do that. You will need a full surround PC sound system.

Hi. My MSI GX630 gives a lot of problems, like during playback of any audio file, even those that are just part of a program (eg Windows Live Messenger), there's a noticeable crackling sound coming from the speakers. I also notice this crackling when external speakers or headphones are attached although it's a bit less noticeable with headphones. I was looking around on the net and found a thread where someone mentioned that heat could be a cause, or something to that effect.
Also when playing some audio files with VLC media player i sometimes hear a stutter during the playback. This also happened a few times while i watched some Youtube videos.
Could someone offer any assistance/explanation please.

PS I have the latest Realtek drivers.

I have a pair of Creative T40 speakers plugged into the 3.5mm jack on my laptop. I got hold of a bluetooth speaker and that was recognised straight-away.

I have installed a large monitor (32inch) to the laptop on which I work as well as watch movies and play games. I was wondering if I could setup that audio, be it music, gaming audio or movie audio could be played through BOTH sets of speakers.

The main T40's are on either side of the monitor and I have the bluetooth speaker behind me on a shelf. That would, kind-of, give me surround sound. Or when I have people over I could get better sound if I could just move the bluetooth speaker to a different part of the room.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you.

Hi, I've encountered a really strange prob with my comp and not sure what is wrong. It is something that suddenly started, I didn't add any new hardware or software. My computer is a Dell Dimension 4550 with a Pentium 4 and 1 Gig of RAM. I have a Sound Blaster Live! sound card.My problem that started is the sound and video get "laggy". It "hiccups" now and then, and whenever its loading, the sound/music will play faster. I hear some staticy noises during the hiccups and the sounds will only play faster during those hiccups, then return to normal. It does this when I play songs from the hard drive, play games, or play videos on Youtube.Another thing is when it gets worse, the videos will fully load from youtube, yet it will only play about 2 seconds and just stop, then I move the slider forward and it will play for the 2 seconds again. And when it is even worse (more heated possibly?) I won't even get any sound at all.I've ran McAfee, Spybot Search and Destroy, AdAware, Stinger, and Windows Defender and they all came up totally clean.Since its a problem that recently just developed, I'm wondering if I'm having a hardware piece go bad. I never had these problems before. I would think it was the sound card going bad, but why would video lag as well if it was? Could it be the Hard Drive or motherboard or CPU? Any ideas on how to diagnose it? I'm not getting any error messages at all. Please help if you can, let me know if you ... Read more

Latest and rolled back. Installed Windows updates etc. Out of ideas so thanks for any help in advance.

I upgraded to windows 10 and the audio was working perfectly for a while until it started stuttering and also playing sound on both speakers and headphones at the same time. Even my audio levels keep fluctuating. I've tried every possible solution online but I can't seem to get it to work properly. I even resolved to installing my OS afresh, I deleted everything but still the same problem exists. Also, be sure there isn't a physical switch on the case that's in the wrong position. (I know some Dell models have this switch and it gets moved accidentally easily!)

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FE28GP with windows XP. I purchased this in December 06.

About 6 months ago the wireless card stopped working. The light on the wireless switch went out and both wireless connections (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945/ABG and Bluetooth Personal Area Network from Toshiba) seemed to disappear. They were no longer in Netwok Connections. When I turned the wireless switch of and on again, several da, da, da beeps were heard and the bluetooth light came on but not the intel PRO/Wireless connection.

Sony serviced the machine and said the problem was fixed. They did not do a recovery. However, the problem was not fixed.

When the problem happened again I did a complete recovery. After the complete recovery the wireless card worked properly for one or two days. The same problem then reoccurred. A second complete recovery and the problem reoccurred again.

I then purchased a Belkin UBS Wireless stick, left the sony wireless switch off and this worked well.

Then I decided to get Sony to fix it again. They could not work out the problem. They tried a new hard drive and they said the wireless card worked properly. When they replaced my original hard drive they agreed the wireless connection didn't work. They therefore concluded it was a software problem and said they couldn't help me.

I have just done a complete recovery 6 times and each time the same problem. The wireless card works for a few hours then the light on the switch goes off and it stops working. ... Read more

anyway, if they switched the hard drive, the problem went away, then they reinstalled the original, and it came back, i would think software. but since you have reinstalled several times, i would say its the hard drive.

do you have another hard drive?
i had a look around and cant tell if the hdd access panel is on the bottom. if so, i suggest trying another hard drive, since if the panel is on the bottom, you can get to it without them ever knowing (i did with my HP, had to backup when the GPU died), provided there is no warranty sticker on it.

from the sounds of it, sony are not to be trusted.

I just installed a D-Link DWL-520 wireless B adapter on my computer and it's been working great. However, after starting up some music in WinAmp the signal to teh router (2 floors away) is lost. If i shut down WinAmp and turn the speakers off teh connection will re-establish itself. Now, my question is, whyis this happenning and what is something I can do to avoid it?

Note, when the speakers (Creative Inspire Slim 2.1) are on and playing normal windows sounds the computer works fine, it's only when watching movies, playing games and music that the connection dies.

Answer:Wireless connection problem due to speakers.

I tried shifting the audio card and the wireless networking card so that the audio card is under the wireless card, still does not work with sound going. I will now set it so that the wireless card is underneath the audiocard.

Something else, even if the speakers are off and a video/music/game is going on the connection will die.

While using the Vaio desktop I got a message saying that the keyboard battery level was critical. I changed the batteries and whilst doing this the computer re-booted so I guess I must have pressed some keys at the same time. Now the keyboard will not work at all. Have I caused an overload or a fuse to go? I have tried re-booting the desktop, then pressing the ´connect´button on the desktop and the keyborad but it will not work. the wireless mouse still functions ok though. Any ideas please? Thanks

Hi people.

Can you please help?I have a Sony Vaio Model VGN-NS20E (Vista) that has built-in Wireless. The PC was heavily infected by Virus and I had to re-install Vista Operating system. The system is now running fine (picture, DVD drive, sound etc )although, it will not detect the Wireless Adapter, hence the wireless will not work.

If I attach the Ethernet cable & the internet works fine.

I went to the manufacturer’s computer website and downloaded the driver and (I think ) installed the driver on the laptop. However, it did not help.

The yellow "wireless" light on the front of laptop is not lit, even though it is switched to on.

Am I right in thinking it is the ‘wireless network adapter’ that isn’t working and not the driver as when I go to "Device Manager" and look at the Network Drives, it only shows the wired Ethernet option. This added to the fact the yellow wireless light doesn’t come on, on the front makes me think it is the adapter and not the driver.

Is there anyway to find out – and anyway to fix this mess?
Thanks in advance

Tom Murray

Hello,

I am working on my friend's computer, it has not been able to connect to the Internet since some time in July. Wired or wireless networks, he has tried several including where he works, school, mine and several others, through wifi and hooked directly. He noticed the problem started when he attempted to uninstall an antivirus software called WebRoot while he was running the installer for MS Security Essentials. The details are a little fuzzy at that point, but he says it kept rebooting and a friend of his booted it up in safe mode and restored the machine to it's last restore point before the issue and then tried installed an updated driver for the wifi adapter as he read it can cause the kind of problem it was having. I am not sure if the Internet connectivity problem was happening before this, or because of this. It's been a few months so it's been forgotten.

It will recognize wireless networks, but then when you attempt to connect, it will say it had trouble connecting and is not connected, but then says "limited connectivity" by the wireless network you tried to connect to. When turn wifi off and hook a cable in, the Local Area Connection with go from "network cable unplugged" to "enabled" but will not recognize the network or connect. All of the windows tools say it is a driver problem with both.

I got the computer yesterday and it had no antivirus on it, Webroot or MS Security Essentials. It had Windows Defende... Read more

On instruction from reviews of the TV on amazon, i bought a TP-Link wireless range extender to set up as a client/repeater (not sure which to use) to connect wirelessly to my router in another room so i can connect an ethernet to the TV for online functions without an overpriced Sony wireless dongle.

I connect the device to the router, assign a random IP in the same subnet as my lan (since it has the same default address as my router) and set the default gateway to my router's IP address (assuming this is what it is asking for) and set the device to either client or repeater mode (unsure of which i need so have tried both) and everything seems fine until this point. However, I set the device to WEP security and set the WEP key to the same as my router as the instructions say and my router instantly loses it's internet connection entirely and repeatedly tries to reconnect and fail until i disable WEP security on the wireless range extender, at which point it successfully reconnects.

Not sure if either of these things are relevent but looking at the GUI of my router, it dosnt seem to acknowlage the existance of the device and trying to ping it with the ethernet connected succeeds but without it connected fails.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

I have a PC with Windows 7 and a Netgear router/modem wirelsss connected to my PC (wired)
I use my laptop connecting wireless router all the time.

RecentlyI bought a Sony TV and Sony Adaptor wireless - usb dongle from Sony.

Everytime I turn on my TV a message at the bottom appears wireless USB adaptor detected.
When I try to connect using TV manual, the TV scans for wireless ssid and finds my ssid. It is WEP encrypted so I entered my key and saved it. It then tries to connect automatically and FAILS.
When I try to connect it comes with FAILED to connect but device OK message.

I read about this issue on WEB and realised that the Wireless Adaptor and TV is not very smart so needs to enter manual entry of IP and Subnet mask etc.
I used my PC ipconfig data to insert 192.68.1.23 for TV ip.
Used 255.255.255.0 for subnet mask
Default Gateway 192.168.0.1 and DHCP as 192.168.0.1.
I also added manually Secondary gateway as same ip.

Still no luck, it keeps coming with same error.

Then I try to remove WEP security on my modem and tried, it did connects successfully, so concluded that the Adaptor and TV is Ok.

Following is my ipconfig data, so please help/guide me to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance
Ravi

not sure if this is the right section to post this in.

i have a dell inspiron 6000 laptop.

my wireless card is the intel pro wireless 2200bg. I have been able to detect wireless networks but most of the time I cant connect to them, even if i am able to it disconnects me after awhile or the internet doesnt work, i have had this problem in several different locations where other computers work fine. My warranty has ran out so I'm not quite sure if anyone knows how to fix this.

my second problem is after reformatting my laptop my bluetooth device is gone. So i went on dells website to download the drivers. when i try to install it it says i need to connect it to my PC.

Answer:problem with laptop wireless and bluetooth

The Intel 2200bg is good hardware with really crappy drivers.

Try the newest drivers, certain drivers seem to work for certain people.

Another thing, go to the adapter settings in the Intel wireless ap, set the tx power to the notch just below the max. This seems to fix a lot of problems on this card. The transmit power control isn't reliable on these cards. They tend to keep dropping tx power until they lose connection.

I used a 2200bg and was initially impressed with its range, replaced it with a 2915abg for 5ghz, both of these cards still had the tx power bug. After a time, I noticed the cards just dropping speeds or losing the connection entirely.

I finally replaced my 2915 with a Winstron CM9 Atheros based mini PCI card. Never looked back. I get better receive and more transmit power than the Intel cards.

1) Does your system has Bluetooth?                       way to find - If you do not see any bluetooth in control panel -> u donot have bluetooth.2)Is your Wi-fi turned on?                          Fn+ F5 - Hold fn key and f5 key. It pop ups a windows -> check if it shows wi-fi off, if off turn it on.3)Third one seems to have some technical support. CONTACT LENOVO TECH SUPPORT.

My computer is an Alienware M11x running Windows 7.

For some unknown reason I cannot connect my Logitech V470 bluetooth mouse anymore. It has connected and worked just fine before. The computer and mouse are both brand new. When I check the properties of the computer it shows an exclamation mark next to the Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth Module (the bluetooth radio). When I click on it this message is displayed in the device status box "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

The problem started when I sent my computer into hibernate mode, turned it back on and McAfee security installed an update.

There is nothing wrong with the mouse.

Hey all. Well, I have an MSI Dualnet combo 802.11G/Bluetooth PCI card. I used it in my previous Nforce4 / Athlon X2 system with no problems. I haven't used it in a few months, and decided to install it in my current machine (see sig).

Well, I got it to work after it initially didn't show up (cycled pci slot assignments among x-fi, hauppage tv tuner, and the wireless card). Anyway, the problem is that with the wireless card installed, svchost.exe (1 instance of it anyway) is using close to 100% of cpu usage. If I try to go to the network connections folder, it won't open until I end process on that instance of svchost. The wireless itself is working if I use the included MSI utility though.

This is all in Win XP SP2. I didn't boot into Vista b/c I still hadn't gotten around to downloading the Ralink Vista driver (ralink makes the chipset for the wireless card).

The motherboard I'm using is an MSI P6N SLI-FI (nvidia 650sli chipset).

Another weird issue that may or may not be related to this is that my connection icon for the regular built-in LAN doesn't show the usual status info I've always seen when connected to a router --> local ip, etc. It shows my actual IP Address. The last time I tried to disable the connection, Windows went a little haywire and I had to go back to an earlier restore point.

Needless to say, I took out the wireless card and I'm kinda frustrated and I could use some help.

Greetings,

Due to problems with my Sony VAIO laptop's processing, I have recently decided to re-install Windows XP, though this is the "Home Edition" (due to being unable to retrieve the other version of XP that I used for this laptop). Following the installation, I have attempted to also install some VAIO drivers, including one that concerns the wireless connection. However, once successful and re-booted the laptop, during the procedure, I right-clicked on the Wireless Network Connection (after clicking on "View network connections), called "Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection", then, in the drop-down menu, I clicked on "View Available Wireless Networks". Once there, I can see the available networks, including the name of the router that we use. Below the selection box of available networks, a message says "This wireless network requires the use of a network key (WEP). To access this network, type the key, then click Connect. After I entered my security key, I encountered this error message repeatedly:

"The network password needs to be 40bits or 104bits depending on your network configuration. This can be entered as 5 or 13 ascii characters or 10 or 26 hexadecimal characters."

Consequently, I am unable to access the Internet because of this message!

If it helps, the model of this laptop is a Sony VAIO VGN-FS740/W, and we bought it in December 2005. In terms of the system specifications, this is, again, t... Read more

I bought 5 Sony 5.1 Speakers on Ebay. Do I need a A/V Amplifier or AM/FM Reciever to tramsmit sound to speakers. The speakers are 70w each. I need a Subwoofer (70w) also. The Amp should be a 420w amp. Can a stronger Amp of 500w be used or would it be too strong for the speakers?? Amps w/ more wattage be too much for the speakers?? I don't want to runin the speakers. Appreciate all your posts. Thanks ODIE

Answer:Sony 5.1 Speakers w/ HDTV TV??

if you get a 500w amp just be sure not to blast them at full volume .. if you hear cracking or distortion you know you're playing them too loud .. if you really want to be conservative buy one that's a little under what your speakers can handle, of course don't be too conservative .. but most speakers are built pretty well these days so it's not something I would fret about

If you go into your typical mass market store, you only really see AM/FM Recievers, you would have to goto an specialized audiophile store to find a straight out amp .. and they're very very expensive. But a reciever should do just fine, so long as it supports 5.1 audio

Hi there,
i recently bought a Dell laptop, Inspiron N4110. They gave me a series of driver and installed those drivers on my Windows 7 Home Premium. The problem is, the first time my wireless device won't connect and keep informed me that the driver not install.
So i decide to remove all the driver, then using the device manager to search for new hardware, and let the system determine which driver is match to the hardware. Now, my wireless device can connect. But, suddenly my bluetooth device won't connect, and the system informed that the driver not install.
I tried to use the step as i did with my wireless device, but the bluetooth device still won't work.
Anyone, please help. Thank you so much.

Answer:Dell Inspiron N4110 - Bluetooth & Wireless problem

You need to go to the Dell website and install the correct drivers, you'll need to use a USB stick/drive or the wired Ethernet connection to get those drivers onto the laptop.

Here's the Dell site, use the Service Tag number off the bottom of the laptop to get the exact drivers: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19?c=us&s=dhs&cs=19&l=en

I dropped my sony vaio a couple weeks ago and the speakers stopped working, I quickly realized that the audio/usb board is broken. I believe this means my computer thinks there are always headphones plugged into my computer. My question is; is there any way to either disable headphones or make the computer play sound out of the headphones and out of the device speakers. I am running windows 7 on a sony vaio PCG-7184L.

Thanks in advance,

Answer:Sony Vaio Speakers Issue

Hi and welcome to TSF have you tried adjusting the sound from within control panel then go to whoever is the sound ie realtek, soundmax although if the sound is as you suspect then the speakers themself may be useless

I have a new HP Pavilion Elite m9517c-b, has MS VISTA 64bit on it. The integrated sound (monitor connect to hard drive) just sucks.

I would like to keep my old speakers from my Sony Vaio VGC-RA810G system, the speakers are Realtek® AC'97 and I can still download the drivers from Sony.
I would hate to have to buy a new speakers set, especially since the Sony set has such excellent sound.

Would this work? why or why not?
thanks!

Answer:New HP Pavilion PC, can I use my old Sony Vaio speakers set?

Yes you can use the old Sony speakers. The Realtek sound drivers are for a computers motherboard, not for external speakers... The Sony sound drivers may not work on the HP

I have just re-formatted my laptop again after getting a virus and the laptop isn't picking up the driver for the bluetooth module 2.0.

I have the driver on the installation disk and have also tried installing it from downloads aswell, but when you start the installation up it just "hangs" there with the msg saying "Activate Bluetooth using Fn+F2 or Radio ON/OFF Switch" and has the cancel installation option there. It doesn't do anything! I've also tried to do a Google, but haven't been able to find sufficient information on this. If anyone knows any more about this problem then let me know

Thanks in advance,
Stan =)

Hi, I purchased Radio 1's Live Lounge CD about 6 weeks ago. I played it (not ripped) through WMP 11. Now whenever I play ANY CD through WMP 11 or Windows Media Centre, the correct artists/tracks are playing but WMP 11 & WMC both bring up the CD details for the Radio 1 Live Lounge CD. I have also tried ripping CD's (not the Radio 1 Live Lounge CD) to WMP 11 & WMC and the correct artists/tracks rip from the CD but again WMP 11 & WMC rip the artists/tracks/CD art information from the Radio 1 Live Lounge CD. I have been unable to obtain a reason why from www.support.microsoft.com and I am really hoping some person/people in this Tech Support site can help me out. Thank you in advance.

I am at my wits end! I have spent days trying to solve this so any help gratefully received!

I have a new Dell Studio 1558 running Win 7, 64 bit. I have a Voiis Audio gateway that receives a bluetooth audio stream from my PC and feeds it into my Hi-Fi. Until I changed my PCs it was working perfectly - and still does when connected to my iPhone. I have managed to pair the gateway with my PC but can get no further. I cannot see the services that are associated with the decise so cannot select the service to be used. The device appears in the "play-back Devices" list and the audio stream is directed to it. (The PC speakers cut out and the play-back device graphic shows that the feed is being received). I bought Bluesoleil to try to solve the problem but that made connectin to this and other devices very hit-and-miss so I removed it. When I re-loaded the original B/T stack, there was a report that the peripheral device driver could not be found. Could this be the problem? I have trawled the internet and the Dell site for a replacement stack and an A2DP driver but found nothing that can be installed.

Could some kind soul help me please?

Thanks

Answer:Help Please with Bluetooth Speakers

Problem: No sound stream to bluetooth loudspeaker or headset
reason: Microsoft w7 64 dont support a2dp protocol (stack).

Check the brand of your BlueTooth chip. Download BT drivers from vendor. Do NOT use drivers from other vendors.
If your Dell have internal BT, then download drivers from Dell

Question: Bluetooth Speakers

Hi there,

Is there a way to use bluetooth speakers as well system speakers at the same time?

Using windows 8 6bit
and bluetooth Jawbone Bigjam speakers.

Thanks

Answer:Bluetooth Speakers

I think yes, but you need to use some other sound output manager. Windows built-in one doesn't support multiple output via different type.

Question: Bluetooth speakers

I have obtained some Zoom 4380 bluetooth speakers to use as PC speakers, but I cannot get them to work . They have paired with my PC fine but I cannot find an option to send the sound output to them. The documentation is not so helpful except that it mentions you need A2DP or AVRCP bluetooth capability. Does anyone know what this is and how I can get them to work.

Answer:Bluetooth speakers

What is A2DP?click hereA2DP Support on Desktop and Mobile Platformsclick hereDefinition of "AVRCP"The Audio/Video Remote Control Profile is a Bluetooth profile that allows Bluetooth devices to control media playback on remote devices. It is typically used with A2DP devices for next/previous track selection and pause/play functions. Also known as: "Audio/Video Remote Control Profile

Question: Bluetooth speakers

Hi Everyone
I bought a bluetooth speaker that was originally to work with my fone, I was impressed with it that much I though I could play my MP3's from MY pc through it, alas how wrong was I.
I am unable to connect the speaker using the bluetooth toggle. The toggle works as I have connected my fone to the pc using such toggle. But for the hell of me I cant connect the speaker. ( the speaker is a intempo BTS-01 Stereo Blurtooth Wireles Speaker )
Any help with this issue would be greatly appriciated

Thanks in Advance

JP (Beamo1)

Answer:Bluetooth speakers

Hi, beamo1, and welcome to the forums.

Since you have your BlueTooth dongle working with the phone, what you'll need to do is pair the speakers with the dongle, just like you paired the phone with the dongle and also like you paired the speakers with the phone.

Aloha,
I don't know if this is the right place to post this problem and if it isn't, please direct me to the right place. I have a Sony VGN-CR320E (OS Vista) laptop with a home network wireless and wire connection. I lost the wireless connection and cannot reconnect to it and so far, I tried another computer (wireless) and it works so I think that the problem is with the computer. Is the wireless nic card built in on the mother board? If no, how do I remove it? If yes, then what can be done to fix it? I am thinking that if the card is bad, I can replace it and if it is built in, then would a wireless USB nic card work? What other things should I do to check out the computer? I also checked the device manager and the network adapters all seems to be working properly.

Mahalo,
doogdoog
