outlook accepting meeting problem

Question: outlook accepting meeting problem

Hi,

In outlook 2002 (sp3) if you try to accept a meeting whilst your inbox is full you get a message with only an "ok" button. after you click "ok", the meeting request is deleted and the original message is lost. Is this a flaw?

does anyone have a workaround?

Thanks,

note: outlook 2002 is running on exchange 2000.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I have recently bought a new laptop with Office for Small Business 2003. When using Outlook, when I receive an email/invitation to a meeting from my boss or the secretary, I accept the invitation and the meeting posts to my calendar, but posts as a recurring meeting until the end of time. I am NOT making it a recurring meeting and the invitation is not for a recurring meeting, but it automatically defaults to make the meeting recur once per week forever and ever. I have tried researching this on microsoft.com and in Outlook Help, but I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I have a user who is trying to print a meeting request from her calendar in Outlook 2007. When she opens the meeting and tries to print, she gets this error:

"There is a problem with the selected printer. You might need to reinstall the printer. Try again, or use a different printer."

This message comes up no matter which printer she chooses (local or network). Oddly enough, when she opens the item within the meeting request, she is able to print that. She is also able to print other items (emails, Word docs, etc.) to all printers with no problems.

Any ideas?? We are new to Office 2007 & this is the first time I've seen this. I was unable to duplicate the problem on my machine.

Thank you.

Answer:Outlook 2007 - problem printing meeting from calendar

Just wanted to add: this just happened with a different user who was trying to print an email that contained an attached item. So it seems the commom denominator is the attached item within the email / appointment they are trying to print. Not sure why that is causing a problem, and why it's only happening with certain users. I still haven't been able to replicate the problem on my comuter.

Hello guy's

I work as a support technician and one of our users has a problem with outlook.

When one user receives a meeting request and he accepts the meetings are placed in the calendar of his delegate and not in his calendar.

I already checked on internet but i haven't found a solution.
Does anyone here knows one?

I have a user running Windows XP and Outlook 2003 on an Exchange Server. Generally everything runs fine. He has a problem where he scheduled a recurring meeting to happen weekly between a certain time period. He sent this request out to several other employees who have accepted. The meeting shows up on their calendars but does not show up on the organizors calendar. Obviously, the meeting had to have been created as it shows up on the invitees. The organizer says he did not delete it from his calendar. Other he meetings he schedules show up fine on his calendar. Is it possible there is a setting or something he clicked inadvertantly to cause this recurring meeting not to show on his calender?? Or is it just a weird bug in the program?

Most of my users are on Outlook 2003, but some are on Outlook 2007. When a 2007 user uses the scheduling assistant to try and set a meeting, the message appears No Information. No free/busy information could be retrieved.

Note: a 2003 user can see the other 2003 user's schedule.

Is this something that needs to be set at the Exchange level? How do I resolve?

All users are on Windows XP SP2

I have an issue with users sending meeting request to one another in Outlook. The issue is that the meeting request is received as either an hour earlier or an hour later. I have about 12 users and this problem happens with almost all of them. The domain controller is running Windows 2000 using active directory. I've checked the times, time zones, and made sure the clocks where running 12 hours, not 24 hours on all pc's and server DC.

I've got a user that is trying to use the meeting scheduler in the calendar section of outlook.

Basically she wants to know the availability of other users based on their calendars on their workstations.

My guess is that this doesn't work because we are using pop/smtp email services, rather than running and exchange server.

Am I correct?

Hi, hoping to get some help.

My friend sent me an invite to her outlook calendar. The calendar is owned by her but when she sends an invite to my @live.com email. I recieve an email with a few upcoming events and an 'accept' or 'decline' invite. When I click accept it loads but it takes me to my own calendar, with no sign of my friends calendar.

There is a link in the email which it says I can copy and paste into my browser if I'm having trouble with the accept button, but I get the exact same results. I've tried accepting on my phone rather than on my mac, and we've tried sending new invites. But it all gives the same results.

Not sure how much more info I can give. Hoping for something silly that I've missed here.

I decided to change my passwords tonight for all three on my email accounts- to something more complex. I changed them all to the same password. I have 2 charter email accounts (end with @charter.net- which is my ISP) and an @gmail.com account

I know the password is correct, but it will not accept it, after I input it, it will just pop up the box again asking for it.

Answer:Outlook express 6 not accepting password

Well, I managed to get my gmail account up and running. I reset the password for it on gmail's web site.

As for the 2 charter accounts. I'm not sure about them. I changed the passwords under tools>accounts. And they worked fine previously for the old passwords I had. But, not for the new password I put it.

I had thought perhaps that changing it under tools>accounts wouldn't really work, because the passwords are stored on mail.charter.net, but if this is the case, why was it accepting the old passwords before I changed it tonight (which were stored under tools>accounts) if they weren't what charter has for the correct passwords? I tried putting in the old passwords, doesn't seem to be working.

Can someone please advise. I schedule a recurrent meeting about a year ago for a group of people. I have since deleted it from my calendar but it can still be viewed in the calendars of the invited attendees. As this is causing confusion, can anyone tell me how I can delete the recurrence even though I can't view it anymore?

Sorry this sounds so dippy .. if I wasn't so dippy I wouldn't have made the stupid mistake in the first place!!!

thanks in advance ...

Answer:Outlook 2007 - recurrent meeting

hi c4twoman,

When you deleted the meeting, did you do it for all occurences or just one.

Anyway, when doing so, Outlook should have asked you if you wanted to send an update, which would have then deleted upon receipt by the attendees.

If that hasn't happened, simplest is to send the attendees an email asking them to detete the meeting from their calendars themselves, all occurernces.

I'm in the IT department of our company and we have a user that is getting a message that pops up at the top of his recurring meetings. It says something about having multiple versions of the meeting and that this is the most current. There is a button to click on to see the other versions. When he does this, it opens up several other windows with the same information concerning that meeting. None of the data is different though. How can I get this to stop? What may be causing it?

Thanks for the help.

Usually when I see there is a newer verison message, then it is because the user has updated the meeting request. Does this happen to him when he creates meetings on other PCs or just the one PC? Is this a recurring issue or is this the only time it has happened?

Hello,

I'm running Outlook 2003 at work, and when I create a meeting in the calendar, the responses are not showing up on the tracking tab. I receive the meeting response messages from recipients, so I know some are acccepting or declining, but when I go to the tracking tab of the meeting details, only a few of the people that have accepted show as accepted. I thought this was supposed to update automatically when people reply?

Anybody seen this before, or have any ideas? Thanks!

Answer:Outlook 2003 Meeting Tracking Tab

When people respond to your meeting request, the subject of the message shows whether they have accepted or declined without having to open the meeting request. The tracking tab in calendar only updates when you actually open the response. Have you opened all the meeting response messages?

I am running Outlook 2003 and Win XP Pro SP3. Both Outlook and Win are set up to adjust for daylight saving time.

The changeover from EST to DST today has changed the time for every meeting in my Outlook 2003 calendar for all dates starting today (Sunday, 08Mar'09). The time for every meeting that occurs today or in the future has been moved forward 1 hour. Any meeting series is correct for any instance before 08Mar'09 and incorrect for any instance on/after 08Mar'09.

I can fix the problem by unselecting the auto adjust for DST and manually changing the time.

It is my understanding that the actual time stored for all Outlook meetings is Zulu time and any conversion is done on the fly.

Any idea what is going on here?

Hi everyone. I need a little help with how to use a function in outlook. I have a group of about 30 people who all have different schedules. I want to use Outlook 2007 to find when the best time to meet is. I have gone to the "Meeting Request" section of Outlook and I can see my schedule just fine ie when I am Busy or when I am free. My problem is that I don't know how to enter people?s names with their schedules so I can compare everyone?s schedule.

I hope this makes sense. Basically, I want to enter everyone schedule and use the Auto-Schedule a meeting function to find the best time for a meeting. Thanks for all your help and I look forward to hearing back from you.

I have a couple users (maybe it happens more but haven't heard any other complaints) that have been having trouble updating meetings. The error seems very sporadic and there seems to be no reason to why we are seeing this error. The complaint is that they are getting the error when adding an attendee, and or changing the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have searched around but have had no luck.

The error states:
The item could not be saved because it has been changed by another person. Do you want to save a copy in your default calendar folder? If you click Yes, you need to copy and paste your changes from the "copy of" item in your default folder into a new update for this meeting.

While using Outlook to set-up meetings I sometimes have to downsize them and come back to them at a later time. There are occasions when I have to revisit these set-ups days later. I am curious if there is a way to save a meeting set-up without sending the invitation. Each time I have tried to save the meeting set-up information the invitation has went out. I am sure it is a simple answer that I am over looking, but additional input or answers would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there,

On our exchange server we have a resource for our small conference room.

If anyone tries to schedule a meeting, while using the small conf room as a resource, as soon as you try to send the invitation Outlook freezes and holds onto 99% of the CPU.

This is from any computer.

BUT, here were also a couple meeting invitations successfully sent out earlier this morning, using the small conf room. But when I try to accept, Outlook hangs again.

Also, if I log into the Small conf room's own email account and try to accept the invitations through it's account directly, outlook hangs. AND from the small conf room's account, if I try to set up a meeting with itself as a resource, it hangs...

Setting up a meeting using any other resource works fine.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Anyone?

Thanks =)

Our business recently upgraded to Outlook 2007. I have one user who, when scheduling a meeting, cannot see the attendees free/busy schedules. This is the only user of @300 affected. To date I have:
1)Run the /cleanfreebusy, /cleanreminders, /cleanprofile and every /clean....I can think of.
2)Uninstalled/reinstalled Office 2007.
3)Created a new email profile
4)Created a new user profile. With this, the user was able to see the free/busy times for a few days, but now it is back to square one - cannot see the attendees schedules.

There is no /cleanscheduleplus available in Outlook 07. We are running on an Exchange 03 server, and the OS is a corporate XP image.

Anyone run into something similar?

Attached is a snap shot of a server side Deleted folder. It has 288 meeting requests. One from June 2002 and the other from Sep. 2002. These two requests populate in this folder about every 3 to 5 minutes (notice the time and frequency of the same meeting requests in the folder).

Can you review the snap shot and provide suggestions?

Also, is there anyway to stop outlook calendars from allowing double-booked appointments. In other words, not allow two appointments to occur at the same time??

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

The problem is almost none of the users want this setting. We use urgent emails for truly urgent events, and no one wants their urgent alarms going off for meeting cancellations.

Does anyone know where this setting is configured?

We're using MS Office Outlook 2007 SP2 MSO.

Our system uses Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 server. The user is running Windows XP SP2 with Outlook 2003 in cached exchange mode, and mail is set to be delivered to a pst file on his hard drive.

This user travels a lot, and prefers to spend all his time in offline mode, working online is not an option as a solution. When working offline, if he goes to schedule a meeting, anybody that he selects comes up as No Information Available, expectedly. Well, he says that when working offline he used to be able to see this information, and that just recently he started receiving the No Info bars.

Is there any way to make Outlook gather this information when connected and working offline, or is his only option working online?

My Outlook Express Inbox stopped accepting new e-mails on May 17, but it is currently holding over 6000 e-mails that are either repeats or spam. Some of these e-mails are repeated at least 10 times. I tried deleting these e-mails but they just come back. I logged on webmail.cablelynx.com and got a list of about 500 current e-mails that have not shown up in my inbox. I get several pop-up messages about errors in POP3, unable to access my inbox. Also, I get a pop-up saying "CA Common Tray is trying to access the internet. Application: C/program Filed\CA\C...\CC Tray Exec. Address: 69.18.\48.62 Port 80. Have I been hit by a virus? At the time this all started, I had CA Internet Security Suite active on my computer. I have now disconnected it because I thought it might be causing the trouble. I am still quite illiterate about computors and may not have given enough info. Please advise.

Answer:Outlook Express Not Accepting Or Deleting E-mails

Have you deleted the mails using your providers webmail interface? While it is possible that you are receiving a lot of the same spam, it's also possible thatthere could be a message on the server with a corrupted header. A corrupt header cannot be processed by your email client and will stop messages received after it from downloading. You'll have to go to webmail and start deleting. After you've deleted in webmail, open up OE and see if it downloads what is left.If not, please copy then paste here any error messages you get from OE. Your statement about disconnecting CA concerns me. Either enable it OR uninstall it and reinstall another firewall and antivirus program. Without them, you are leaving your system wide open to attacks and viruses. If you don't want to continue using CA, there are some good free products you can install. You'll find a list of them here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic3616.htmlcctray.exe is a tray icon for Computer Associates Security Center interface. However, you stated you get CA Common Tray is trying to access the internet. Application: C/program Filed\CA\C...\CC Tray Exec. Are you sure that's what it said? I don't know anything about CA, so I can't help you with that issue. I posted the difference between the 2 names so it won't get missed by others who can help you.

2] Under Advanced options, click Resource Scheduling.
3] UN-Select the Automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations check box.

Hey all, not sure if anyone has seen this.

When sending a meeting request, on the receiving end it should promp to accept, decline, etc.

When I try to send a meeting request, the receiver does not get those options. They receive the email in the following format:

when..
where..
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

thats exactly what is included in the email.

Instead of the buttons it will show a squgly line and stars

It looks as though it's on my end because b/c all recipients receive the same thing.

The receivers are running Outlook 2003.

I was running outlook 2002. I upgraded to Outlook 2003 thinking it would solve the issue but it didn't.

I recently upgraded to SP2 with all of the updates, same result.

I tried changing the sending format to rich text and html, same result.

If I send a meeting request to myself, it is viewable perfectly with the buttons...

When I try to receive meeting requests, it doesen't display the buttons in the body of the text, it has the request attached with a .ics extension which it shouldn't.

So it looks as though i'm having issues sending and receiving meeting requests. Outgoing mail is currently set to html format.

The last little bit to this...I have Outlook 2003 but the rest of my Office suite is 2002, would this cause any problems? I only upgraded Outlook to 2003

Any ideas?

Thank You

The workaround is to remove the attendee from the meeting. Then Save &
Close, but DO NOT send an Update. Then readd the attendee who was
having the problem, Save & Close and DO send the update this time. The
attendee should receive a new invitation and shoud also be able to
respond to it without the error message. If it is happening to all
attendees, I would remove the Outlook Address book from the computer
requesting the meetings and then readd it.

At our site we have several conference rooms which have their own shared calendars in Outlook. Whenever someone wants to schedule the conference room, they usually submit a meeting request and add the conference room to check availability in Scheduling. The problem is, they want to be able to see past one month. For example, if I look at the room's availability today, I can only see up to February 28 of this year. March 1 and beyond appears as "\\\" or 'no information.' Is this a limitation of Outlook 2003 and is there any way around it (do schedulers need delegate rights to see past a month)?

Any help would be appreciated.

One of my users are having issues with the meeting requests in outlook. If A sends a meeting request to B, and B accepts the request, the confirmation email gets sent to both A and C. C was never on the request at all. I also sent a test request to my email account so when I accepted it, the confirmation still was somehow forwarded to C.

Has anyone ever ran into this issue before or know the solution?

I have been a user of hotmail.com for many years (15+). Recently MS forced the "upgrade" to outlook.com and I now note that I cannot set a different time zone for meetings, or a different start and end time zone for travel.
Am I missing something or is this a downgrade of the microsoft apps in Outlook.com?

I have a user that when she tries to accept a meeting invite it tells her that she has a meeting already booked even though her calander is empty at that time. I could find nothing wrong with her calander. I had one of her delegates create a test meeting and she was able to accept it with no issue, so I am not sure why she is getting this. Any ideas would be helpful. We are using Outloom 2003 and are on an exchange server.

I used to be able to create Meeting Workspaces on SharePoint from Outlook, now it times out when trying to create the workspace.
The computer does not freeze, and doesn’t seem to be "Not Responding"

When I have “Create New Workspace” selected, under the dropdown for “Select a template language:” it says “Loading…”.
When I select “Link to an existing workspace” I click on the drop down option under “Select the workspace:” and I get “None Found” as a response, even though I know that there are 4 workspaces available under the Location I selected…

I need to create an Outlook form that will be used to send out 30 meeting invitations to about 20 different people. The form should look a little like a grid where the top part would be five columns wide by four rows high. The lower part of the form will be five columns wide by two rows hight. Each "cell" needs to contain the names of people for that meeting, the date/time it takes place as well as reminder options for that meeting. I'd like to find any easy way of doing this and also have it somehow send all those meeting invitations out once the "SEND" button was clicked on the toolbar. As you can tell, I have the layout pretty much thought out, I just don't know how to make it send the meeting invitations to everyone listed in the "cells" in the form.

Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

I'm trying to figure out why my 2003 outlook is not loading. It sometimes will attempt to load and when it does the outlook opening window will appear for maybe 10 sec. and then it just goes away.I have repaired my windowow prof office soft ware, I have repaired using the detect and repair for each office component, I have run the repair utility with outlook 2003 with some files being repaired, but nothing I have been able to find will open the program so I can actually see the emails. I have scanned the registry and repaired the registry with Uniblue Registry Booster and it always finds errors to fix, but I have never had a program that would not open before. All the rest of the Prof Office components work like word, excel, pub, access, etc. The reason that I know that emails are still being recieved is that the screen has a square that gives me a clue who is sending a new email when it comes in and it is still working. After the research that I have done, it appears to me that a file is missing, but I am not getting any error messages to gives me a clue as to what to look for. And I have no email, so if this forum is tied to my non working current email, I won't get it there. I need to have a response to XXXXXXXXXXX(Moderator edit: post moved to more appropriate forum and E-mail address removed to prevent its being harvested by spambots.jgw)

Answer:Outlook 2003 not loading to scrren but still accepting mail

The fact that you are using a registry cleaner / fixer is almost certainly the cause of some of your problems. Depending on which OS you are using I suggest a repair installation if possible and NEVER use registry cleaners - the cause problems, they do not fix them.

I have many meetings with the same client, each has a meeting in Outlook. I want to maintain all notes from these meetings in Onenote.

In OneNote I have a notebook "clients", and want a section per client. What I'd like is to open the meeting in Outlook, click on the "oneNote" button, and be brought right to the client's section in Onenote and a new page open for that meeting's notes.

I'd also like to get to the OneNote section from the outlook contact area when selecting a contact form that client and using the "OneNote" button.

Is this level of integration possible?

Thanks for any help!

Hi there! I was sent a meeting request by someone outside of our company. Is there a way in Outlook 2003 for me to add additional invitees (e.g. other people in my company) to the meeting request? Obviously, I could create a separate (identical) meeting and invite the people I want, but it would be better to just be able to add people to the original.

Thanks.

An staff member has set up a recurring meeting invite for her team. It has no attachments, no hyperlinks, and is just plain text in the body, there are about 20 invitees. It has been recurring for the last 6 months without any issues. However, in each of the attendees calendars it now shows the size of that single appointment as 11MB, but for the person who sent the invite it shows as 416KB.

Why even for the administrator is the size so large, and for the attendees so HUGE?

Hi all, I have been a long time lurker on this forum but never posted very much. I will be grateful if you guys could help me with this issue.

We have a user that tries to request meetings with Outlook 2010. When the meeting request is sent to a users blackberry device it shows the organizer as someone from outside the company, lets call that person "Mr. X". When I saw the organizer come through as "Mr. X" instead of the original organizer I ran a search on the users inbox and found that the user has conversations from a couple months ago with "Mr. X". When the user makes a meeting request to any other mail domain like "@gmail.com" or "@firstcoast.com" it shows the correct meeting organizer, it is only when the meeting request is sent to a blackberry account that it shows the organizer as "Mr. X".

We are running exchange 2010 and I have gone through the settings on the server and the users outlook multiple times and cant seem to find any misconfigurations. I have also gone through and deleted any recurring meetings that the user had with "Mr. X" in the past.

I have seemed to stump google with this problem, and I am not sure what to try next. If anyone has seen this before or has any ideas I would be grateful and willing to try them. Thank you all for your time.

We have a small, 25-user network for my not-for-profit agency that is supported by MS Server 2003 SBS. Our Exchange server works well but I’m having problems with some users receiving accept replies for meetings and I can’t determine why since everyone is set up basically the same. Important to know is that all mail comes in through the client, the Exchange server does not talk to the web. The default SMTP address is the external email domain which means that any communication between staff goes out to the external domain account and then is retrieved via the POP3 connection by the recipient.

The meeting invitations arrive properly but when they are accepted some users meeting never note the acceptance. Checking the acceptance reply, which goes to the Deleted folder, I can verify that the email address was correct. I’m out of ideas and any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi-
For some reason on one of our systems, running Outlook 2010, there is an issue with sending a New Meeting.

I select the Calendar. From the menu, "New Meeting". The New meeting screen opens. I enter in the subject, body, and have three contacts listed in "TO". That's it, and I click Send.

My recipients received this as a standard message, for some bizarre reason, all calendar data has been removed from the message, yet the item has been added to my calendar. Any thoughts?

We have a VP with an administrative assistant. The assistant has been set up as a delegate on the VP's mailbox for quite a long time now and can respond to meeting invitations sent to the VP. (Both users are running Office XP Standard w/Service Pack 3.) Recently, when the VP is sent a meeting invitation (which shows up both in hers and her assistant's inboxes) and accepts it on her own, when the assistant opens up the same invitation, the information bar at the top of the request has NOT been indicating that the VP already accepted the meeting. Instead, it'll simply say "please respond to this request on behalf of....". The next time around, however, the VP will accept the meeting, the assistant will open up that same meeting request in her own mailbox, and this time, it'll say at the top "(so and so) has accepted this meeting on (such and such date)".

The problem has no consistency in working or not working. Does anyone have any suggestions on what may be tried to get it working more uniformly?

We are starting to deploy Office 2010 to some of our more experienced users and for the most part have not had any glitches occur. There are two people, however, experiencing problems with Outlook 2010 (I'm one of them).

For the majority of the time Outlook 2010 runs great. But, whenever a meeting or appointment invitation hits the Inbox and you try to open it, Outlook will display the cursor with the spinning circle. Try clicking the invite message again and the Outlook window dims out and a messdage pops up that Outlook 2010 has quit responding and you are given the option to wait until it responds again or to close the process. Selecting the "wait" option doesn't do any good, Outlook never starts responding. The only way to get out of it is to end the process and then reopen Outlook 2010 so you can open the invite and respond to it.

We are in an Active Directory Domain and run our own Exchange 2007 mail server. Outlook is setup to run in Cached Exchange Mode. While we also run our own Communicator 2007 R2 IM (internal to the Domain only), I am enabled, but the other person experiencing these same problems is not. As to Add-Ins, we both have SnagIt, and I also have the CRM Outlook Client. Other than that, our Outlook 2010 Clients are pretty much similar.

Our computers are both desktop units. Here are my Specs:

I've set it up according to what the MS Office website says, but I'm certain that only works when the account is open in Outlook. We're trying to set up the conference room as a resource, and so far, it works fine. It just wont reply to any meeting requests you "invite" it to unless you open the profile which contains that Exchange mailbox and manually reply to it.

Any way to get that mailbox to accept all meeting requests server side?

Answer:setting up an outlook (exchange) account to autoreply to meeting requests.

I'm assuming you logged into the account you created to set the Outlook options up...correct?

There's an option in there to automatically accept meeting requests.
Tools-->Options-->Calendar Options-->Resource Scheduling

If you check the top box, it should be fine. We have several accounts set up this way and they've all been working ok.

Hope this helps...if not, let me know and I can investigate a little more. I'm sure I have it documented at work somewhere but I'm home now...so it will have to wait until tomrrow.

A couple of weeks ago we started to have a problem where our Meeting Request replies are sending to the organizer's Microsoft Exchange account rather than their POP3 account. We then get an error back saying that the message could not be sent (to the meeting orgranizer) because the address had permanent fatal errors. Background information on our configuration: Everyone in our office has a POP3 e-mail account and it is set as the default account in our Microsoft Outlook 2007 clients. We also have a Microsoft Exchange server, but we are currently only using it to backup our .ost files. So, our Exchange accounts are the second in the list (under our POP3 accounts) in our clients. I have confirmed (by clicking on the Account button in unsent meeting requests) that our requests are going out via the POP3 e-mail account of the meeting organizers. This setup has worked great for the last 18 months, but we suddenly started having this problem around mid April.

3. Repaired Microsoft Office.
4. Disabled cache mode.
5. Started outlook and safe mode.
6. Removed Add-ins.
7. Confirmed Windows up to date.

None of these fixed the issue.

In Messsage box the data which I had in a perticular column will attach.

It is working prperly if the data length is upto 1000 characters, If the column(cells) consists more than 1000 characters the message Box doesn't opens up.

Is it a Oulook Express or Out Looks limitation or is there any other solution.

See if any of them work, though.

I just got the y50 fresh out the box and the headphone jack doesn't accept any of my headphones. I've tried two different headohones and a mic. Whenever I put one in they only fit in so far but not far enough to stay in, but just enough that if your holding it in yourself the computer will register it's there. However, if you don't it just pops out. I don't know if there's such a thing as the length being to much or something or if my labtop is broken. If someone could clarify that'd be very helpful.

I've got the exact same problem.  Does anyone know how to fix this? And please don't say that we need a headset splitter. The problem is with the audio jack in the computer. It's not accepting the headphone jack all the way in. It only goes like 75% of the way in.

I know this question isn't explicitly WP, but it's definitely related.
Here's my scenario. Several months ago myself and members of my family stopped receiving "accepted" notifications when we accept each others calendar/meeting invitations. We are all using your standard hotmail/outlook.com.
What used to happen was I could create a calendar event on my windows phone (my old hotmail is my MS account) and I could add attendees - usually my family members. They would receive the email, and would select accept from the reply options on their WP. It would then add the calendar entry to their calendar and I would receive an email notification that they had accepted.
I no longer receive this notification. The other members of my family experience the same issue when sending their own calendar invites from their WPs.
I tested sending and accepting invites strictly using outlook.com's web interface from my PC and I experience the same problem.
I suspect this is a setting on outlook.com but I have been unable to find it.
Does anyone else experience this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

Answer:Outlook.com Calendar - Meeting organizer not receiving "accepted/declined" etc notifications

I don't see anything about notifications of accepted/declined in outlook.com. Share calendars in Outlook.com - Outlook.com Help
I never even knew that feature was ever available. However, I've been using desktop Outlook for the past 7 years, not web-based email.

I have quite a conundrum. My Outlook calendar is set to a start time of 7am to and end time of 3pm Monday through Friday. I have turned on auto accept meetings and turned on auto decline conflicting meetings. This all works great. It has declined and added new meetings and all is working wonderfully.... I wanted to upgrade my ram and i know that my motherboard can support pc3200. I bought 2 1 gig pc3200 sticks but when i try to use them my pc keeps freezing during the post right after the testing memory phase. this happens no matter how i set my bios.
