I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

My keyboard and trackpad don't work for some reason. I read on the internet that I have to do a hard reset (taking out the battery and disconnecting the AC cable, than holding the power button for 30 seconds) to make it work again. So my question is how to perform a hard reset if the battery is INBUILT. I looked into the user manual of the laptop but I couldn't find anything. My laptop works with a USB mouse and keyboard, and the laptop keyboard works in BIOS. I also tried to find an option to disable the battery in BIOS but couldn't find anything. Thanks for your help!

I knew that this laptop had one tiny speaker but I didn't really mind because I use extra speakers. To my surprise, even if you connect a stereo pair of speakers the sound that you get is mono. I tried different kinds, of jacks, headphones and what so, but no stereo sound. It seems that the combo jack provides mono sound. The sound card is a realteck HD audio ALC233. Have all updates and laptop had windows 10 Home preinstalled You can check for your self doing the "left an right test" through control panel.  I also went back to the store and checked for my self on other demo laptops. Same issues there too. Went to other stores  same issues on all ideapads 100 seiries.I contacted Lenovo in Greece. They advised that the sound out the combo jack must be stereo in all occasions  and to send them the laptop to check it.But what are they going to check? All ideapads 100 series laptops in the market, at least the ones I tested provide mono sound out of the combo jack.Laptop specifications mention availability of a mono speaker and nothing about the combo jack. i will apreciate an official answer on this matter which will be beneficial to lenovo customers.

Hello guys. So I wanted to burn some files on a disc but i encountered an error about the disc. so i tried another disc but then i realised the disc driver is missing from "this PC". i went to the device manager and found it while it was Hidden. in the device status box it stated :"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."so i asked some friends and searched through net and some local websites. and then i thought maybe it is a good idea to uninstall the driver so that it it will be reinstalled automatically and the problem will be solved.(Read that solution from the net) so i did it but it is not back.now i really need your help to fix this problem.thank you

Hi, i bought a new LG 21:9 monitor and the max resolution i can get out of it is 1920x1080. i am running windows 10 with the latest (as far as i can tell) intel hd graphics driver version 10.18.10.4276. Some of the forums cite using a custom resolution to manually set 2560x1440 but the lenovo driver doesnt allow custom resolutions. Is there a way to enable custom resolutions or some other way to allow me to use a 2560x1440 external monitor? thanks! sim

Answer:Lenovo Ideapad 100-15IBY unable to get 2560x1440 resolution for external monitor

Are you using the default windows app to set resotution, or the Intel HD Graphics control panel app from within the Windows Control Panel?.   From within Display section in the Intel HD Graphics  control panel, you should see an option for Custom Resolutions. Good Luck

I just got a new Ideapad 100 with Windows 10 and noticed the FN key doesn't appear to be working at all. The FN-Delete key is supposed to activate the number lock on the 10 key keypad, but the numberlock will not engage. Additionally it doesn't seem to activate any of the other F# functions either. I updated to the most current BIOS and downloaded and installed a driver for hotkeys but still no go.  I really would like to be able to use the 10 key pad for numberical entry.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My lappy was fine for the first 3 months then I started getting thin muli-coloured lines accross the screen, a bit like Interference. This developed over the last month and when the screen started flickering and the backlight was go-ing on and off, I dicided to seek help from the online support team. I might as well have asked my next door neighbours Parrot. Because this fault started when the machine was 3 months old and was steadily getting worse. There is no way that I was believing that this was software related. Even when I told the Lenovo clown that it also went off when I tapped the left hand side of the case he still wanted to try and diagnose it remotely for OS / Driver issues. Anyway, I am posting here to help anyone else out with the same problem. I fixed it by: Removing the 3 screws on the centre of the base (they have a small keyboard image next to them).Using a very thin bladed knife, lift the top of the keyboard away from the case. After lifting a little with the knife you can get your fingers under it. (It makes a horrible cracking noise as you seperate it. But don't worry, be brave. As long as you have removed those 3 screws, it will come away). Carefully lift the keyboard up and you will see the ribbon cable conector. It has a hinged flap that holds the cable in place. Lift this up and remove the cable and keyboard. Just above the keyboard cable connector is a small rectangled hole. If you look in there you will see another plug. It conne... Read more

Hello. I am trying to install a copy of Windows XP onto my computer. During this process a BSOD 0x7E is encountered and acpi.sys is mentioned. The original operating system was Windows 8. The hard disk is not original, a new one have been bought. I have disabled UEFI boot anywhere I could and was able to install Windows 7, but not XP. I could not try setting SATA Controller mode to the Compatibility in BIOS settings because the computer stops at the "LENOVO" black screen and goes no further. Thanks for your attention. Excuse me if there are any mistakes in my posts.

Recently bought Ideapad 100-15IBY (Quadcore 1.7GHz, 4GB RAM). The seller installed Windows7 (64 bit) with drivers. However with 64bit OS the system operation is slow, instable and out of sync. I tried Windows 7 (32 bit) and found the operation to be smooth. But drivers for Win7 32 bit is not available in Lenovo website. How to get the drivers I need? I don't think 64 bit drivers would install on 32 bit OS. And I can't tolerate the performance with 64 bit OS. Only option is use of 32 bit Windows 7. Now, how do I get drivers? Why Lenevo does not give a drivers CD with the product?

Since lenovo does not have the 32Bit drivers on the website, you can right click the unidentified drivers from the Device Manager and choose Update Driver Software.

After installing Ubuntu on my ideapad 100-15IBY type 80MJ, my BIOS appears to be broken. I was not happy with the Ubuntu distro and I wanted to install something else, but I was not able to boot from either USB or CD-ROM after this install. In fact, any changes made in the BIOS is not saved (I tried resetting virtually everything). At first I thought this must be due to a problem with the EFI partition or bootloader, so I disconnected the SSD drive but then BIOS could not find any bootable media. I also tried replacing the CMOS battery (atleast I assume this is the CMOS battery, a CS2032 battery on the motherboard), still no improvement.  What can I do to reclaim my computer? Would it be possible to remove the harddrive, put it in another computer and install windows and so update the bios from lenovos winflash bios updater? Or is there an easier option? I suppose lenovos winflash thing will not be working under WINE? Not being able to boot from USB is really a big issue for me...

Hi folks. My friend gave me his ideapad 100 which has Linux Ubunut OS on it and he asked me to install Win 7. I have tried to install the OS, but after booting and loading system data, Windows's Blue Screen of Death appears with a message "The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant.". So, after 4 hours of trying what i have found on internet, nothing's been successfull. I have tried to update BIOS, and I found the last BIOS for ideapad 100 (http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/LAPTOPS-AND-NETBOOKS/100-SERIES/100-15IBY/downloads/DS102...), but it comes in .exe file which I cant run in Linux.I tried to run it even with Wine but it was unsuccessful. Then, I tried to search for BIOS update in .iso file to make it bootable with usb, but I didn't find it. Please, help me with this, I dont know what to do anymore.

Hi! When I connect FULL HD digital TV (or projector) via HDMI, the image on the TV does not fill the entire screen. This happens when I use the mode "duplicate screen". If I connect only the digital TV, all OK, the image on the full screen.I have tried in the Intel HD Graphics driver settings to change the position of "scaling". But I saw only one option out there - "in the middle". There are no other options. We tried windows 7 and 10, as well as various drivers (Lenovo and Intel) - there is a problem. Our company has several laptops of different companies, multiple projectors and televisions. Nowhere is this problem we do not observe.By the way - if I do this:- Change the screen resolution to a smaller- I go to settings and changing the built-in monitor and scaling to "stretch to full screen"- Then again returns the standard resolutionSo in this case, the image on the digital TV right - the whole screen. But as soon as I turned off and then turn on the TV or laptop, then I again see the problem.Those. problem in the driver. Please help, because we can not use a laptop for presentation. But that is why we bought him. Thank you,Egor

Hello, firstly I want to thank you for reading my post and apologize for the poor formating.  Secondly, I would like to share my issue with my lenovo laptop (bought late 2016): I think someone might have sent me a virus through a game. What makes me think that? After someone messaged me in-game telling me they were making me disconnect from the game, which was ineed happening for a few days. So I used the novo button to get back to reinstall the system? from the recovery partition but I am still worried that someone could be spying on me. Then I tried to install windows 7 professional 64bit (the laptop was provided with windows 10) from an official DVD I bought a few years ago but it did not work, I changed some settings in the BIOS about UEFI, legacy, I read that on this forum in other posts. I tried to boot from the DVD, and eventually it gives a blue screen telling me that my BIOS is not ACPI compliant.  I updated the BIOS but it didn't solve the issue.   Finally i would like to ask a few questions: 1) Could my recovery partition be infected?2) Is there any way to download and install a fresh version of windows 10, I tried from the microsoft website but apparently my windows doesn't work.  Thank you for reading and have a nice day.

I bought an ideapad 100-15IBY Windows 8.1 (32 bit) about 15 months ago, so its out of warranaty for about 3 months, and yesterday I was playing songs on an external speaker, and as soon as i plugged the AUX cord out of the laptop this loud white noise started and wouldnt stop for another 5 minutes or something. It stops for a while then as soon as I open any audio it starts again even when muted. So I thought I should leave it for an hour or two then try switching the laptop on and check again, once i pressed on the power button to switch it on the white noise started again (in the starting up loading screen). Somebody told me it might be the fan, but I thought why would the fan noise stop and only comeback when I play an audio. This is the white noise if you don't know it:https://soundcloud.com/vojta_test/white-noise-01

I bought a Lenovo Ideapad 100-15 IBY and can I ask if upgrading my RAM affect my warranty? I want to boost it up to 8GB. And can I also change the Graphics Card?

Mod's Edit: System model added to front of Subject line to improve visibility / clarity.

Answer:Ideapad 100-15IBY - Will adding more memory void my warranty?

Welcome to the Lenovo Community !

According to your model's User Guide the only items which can be serviced by the owner is the removal of the keyboard and the optical drive.  The removal of the back cover to access the memory is not a consumer replaceable item and accessing that area of your laptop may void the warranty.  Some Lenovo service centers understand that computer owners like to do upgrades. They tend to over look the fact the laptop has been opened for such upgrades as long as there is no damage during the upgrade process.  I would suggest you contact Lenovo Support in your country and see what their opinion is as they will have the final say as to whether the warranty will be voided with the memory upgrade.

As for the graphics card upgrade, I'm not an owner of your model, but I suspect the graphics chip is incorporated into the motherboard and is not upgradable.  In viewing the documentation for your model I see no separate parts listing for a graphics card.

Hi, I have an IdeaPad 100 15iby Laptop bought a few months back. O/S is Windows 10 Only recently the HDMI port connectivity to my SONY BRAVIA stopped working all of a sudden(It worked previously). The Output from the laptop does not get transferred/Recognized by the TV. I tried Duplicate and Second Display Only Modes. There is no pickup on the screen in the TV. When i use the Second Display only prjection mode - I got a message Dsiplay not in optimal resolution - It should be 2048 X 1360. But the max recomm resolution is just 1366 x 768.This i did not see it before when it worked fine. I have determined that it is not the fault of the TV/HDMI cable as i checked with my other DELL Laptop and it works. I have tried all these:1) Ensured all drivers/SW is updated2) tweaked the power on /off combinations for both the TV and Laptop with HDMI cable on.3) Ran diagonostics and Hardware troubleshooting - but it says all tests passed Can anyone help on this? Have you seen this before and is there a resolution.

Hi All, I am writing from National Instruments Technical Support with an issue that one of our customer's is having. The customer uses Lenovo IdeaPad Y530 (model name: 20009) and was trying to use MXI-4 remote controller of PXI chassis. It is basically a PCI extension with CompactPCI form factor. Unfortunatelly the extension of PCI bus did not work, any device installed in the PXI chassis received code 12 (unable to allocate resources) in Device Manager. We know about this issue on some laptops, they just simply don't allow hooking up PCI bus on ExpressCard (correct me if I'm wrong) - see our knowledgebase. We provide a potential solution, which is MXI-Express Compatibility Software. This solution can fix some BIOS limitations, but not all of them. Unfortunatelly in case of the customer it did not help. The customer purchased IBM Leonovo Y530 just for the purpose of using it with MXI-Express Controller. National Instruments cannot resolve this issue. Is there any BIOS version or extension that could allow Windows to allocate devices on the extended PCI bus?

Wow.  Long story short, I bought this laptop for my son to use and like many, he didn't care for Windows 8.  So, I downloaded the drivers for the laptop and then did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional.  I have been unable to find a driver that will work for the Network Controller.  The drivers you can download on the Lenovo site do not work.  Please, can anyone assist with this?  This computer is useless to him unless we can get the wireless working.  Thanks so much for any input you can provide. Brian

Nowhere in the documentation, web site is any info about what kind of controller and hence what size SD cards this model is supporting.Even Lenovo tech support doesn't know that info!I am really hesitant to buy a SDXC card of +32GB only to find out it supports on SDHC cards, thus limited to 32GB... thanks for any useful info, Ralf

Answer:What kind of SD card controller is in a Lenovo IdeaPad 120S-11AIP? SDHC or SDXC compatible?

Hi ITWorxLA,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

As per system overview :
IO port: Memory card slot (SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC)

Platform specification:
One microSD Card slot, supports up to 2TB

Usually there would be stickers on the box or laptop to indicate the format it also supports.
You can try to find/borrow  a spare 32GB SDXC to test first before purchase.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Hey Guys,Recently I replaced my Z40's hard drive with an SSD because the hard drive was scratched. Now, my network controller seems to have a problem as I am unable to access wifi. In device manager, the Network Controller, 3D Video Controller, and the SM Bus Controller all have yellow signs and it seems to be attributed to the lack of drivers. However, when I try to download the drivers it says that the drivers cannot be found.

Then if you are running win 8/8.1 delete those yellowed sign entries from the device manager. Reboot/Restart the unit and let the OS install the generic default drivers. Examine device manager and see if those previously yellowed sign devices no longer have the signs.

Okay so this is not the first time I have had this problem, but the past times I have taken it in to be repaired, however I know full well that is not necessary. Long story short my wireless doesn't work without an external adapter, and in 'Device Manager' under the 'Network Adapters' list, the 'Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter' has a yellow warning symbol next to it. Not sure how relevent this is to the issue but also I sometimes have another list called 'Other Adapters' (or something similar) and under there with the yellow warning symbol it says 'Network Controller', however as I am posting this with the other info above, there is no 'Other Adapters' list. Thanks

My friend gave me his laptop as it was running incredibly slow, I downloaded AVG and found 6 viruses and then started to uninstall all unnecessary programs he had installed from the from the viruses.

In the process I accidentally deleted the qualcomm network controller drivers and software (do not ask me how as I cant for the life of me figure out how)

I have gone onto Lenovo's support page and downloaded the latest software, attempted to download the qualcomm drivers directly and nothing seem to work in re-installing the drivers so I am unable to connect to any wireless networks

I have attached the dxdiag and a screen shot of the device manager page.

Its my friends laptop so I am unable to figure out which model the laptop is over than its a Lenovo B50 and I am unsure if he has done a system restore point. The laptop does have a build in recovery system but says it will delete all data, I am unsure if this will do a full restore to factory settings or delete everything ready for a fresh install

Also I do not have access to any of the original disks as we are away with work in india

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Andy

Answer:Lenovo g50-80 Network Controller windows server 2012

In my experience with Windows Server OS versions I have found it very difficult to manage them and keep up on the latest issues, and why I migrated my servers to Ubuntu Linux.  Most Microsoft Server operating systems and the servers that run them are "locked down" to essential components (hardwired LAN, fiber channel support for iSAN and iSCSI etc..) and very difficult to install drivers that are not purpose built for that specific server installation.  This is probably why you are having so much trouble with finding and installing a driver for WiFi networking - that is not something normally found / included on a server appliance.

I would suggest finding an older "mini server"  that has either intel Xeon or AMD Opteron CPU with a server style main board to install / use for your learning platform.  Once you have that up and running you can also use WinSCP or similar to practice "remote management" from your notebook, as that would be a more "real world" senario for a tech working on servers.  Also I would strongly suggest creating an account with Microsoft Technet and use that resource for furthering your education with the MS Server OS.

Good luck.

I can't even use my wireless to download drivers or resolve the solution because it is not showing. As far as I am concerned, all network adapters are working properly. When I click on the driver, this is what I get:Checked in Device Manager and there is an exclamation mark in 'Network Controller', a look at the properties shows:--manufacturer is 'Unknown'--the driver is not installed--Location: PCI bus 3, device 0, function 0

Hi!I bought the s430 yesterday and exchanged the hdd with a ssd. I tried to install windows 7 ultimate (sp1), but the drivers for  Ethernet-Controller, Network-Controller, PCI-communications controller and fingerprint sensor are missing, I can't find them on the support page. Also you can see an unknown device in the device manager (Hardware ID: ACPI\LEN0068 *0068). Another problem is, after installing the Ultranavdriver, I couldn't use the touchpad anymore, trackpoint still worked, after deinstallation the touchpad worked again. Last but not least, the Power Manager doesn't recognize the storage battery, the computer tells me there's no battery installed. With the hdd and the preinstalled windows, everything works. I installed all the OSfixes, all available drivers. Does anyone know what's the problem? edit: I found most of the drivers on the hdd in the c:\swtools\drivers folder. Ultranav and Power Manager now work properly. But in the device manager you can see that the PCI Simple Communication Controller still isn't installed. Answer:Lenovo IdeaPad v560 Network Printer problem

So apologies in advance if this is in the wrong session. My first time posting here and it's off my phone due to issues I am having with my Lenovo Ideapad Y700. So the internet connection has always had issues, such is the way with Lenovo products from reading about them for the past 9 months of owning one. And now I have s new problem. My internet was working fine two days ago, however since I moved to a different flat in the same building (same internet router as everyone else here), it won't pick up a single network whereas my other devices will. Do I need to update something some place? Did I turn something off on the hardware itself? Any way to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I bought this laptop few mounts ago and I couldnt solve network hosting problem. I'm using Windows 10 Pro (v1511 OS Build 10586.446) operating system and wanted to create local wireless netwok connection. When i open the command (cmd) window I typed 'netsh wlan show drivers' and the result is as following,I couldn't chance Hosted network supported : No to Yes. I have updated BIOS, i installed OneCare, I have deleted the Wireless Adapter drivers and installed the current one but it's still the same. I checked microsoft community forums, mailed lenovo mail support and got online support from the experts, almost tried everything but couldn't solve the problem. If there is a way to solve this problem, could you please inform me via comment or message.I can remove and install previous versions of network adapter driver but i dont know which version works with this pc appropriately. Any suggestion will be deeply appreciated,Thank you so much, Akif

Hi All -I recently bought a new laptop, a Lenovo Ideapad Z580. It works wonderfully (although I will admit I'm not a fan of windows 8). Problem is, I always seem to have problems connecting to my home wifi connection. Before it worked perfectly, but now I've been having problems with it, seemingly out of nowhere. All the other tablets, phones, laptops and computers at home connect to the network just fine. My laptop will detect the home network go on an endless loop of "identifying," followed by "cannot connect to network", followed by "identifying" yet again.Keep in mind though, if I connect to the wifi on campus, or at starbucks or anywhere else it works perfectly. It's JUST my home network and I can't quite put my finger on it considering that all other devices at home work fine.I updated my drivers, restarted my drivers, ran a release/renew, TCP/IP reset, restarted the router, restarted my laptop, but none of these have worked. In the end, I gave up and simply plugged in an Ethernet cable in.If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know! This is getting frustrating considering my Ethernet cable is only like, 5 feet long.Greatly appreciated

Have a look in your device drivers then network adapters , the one for the broadcom wifi, double click on it and go to advanced then click on AP compatibility mode, the change it from high speed to broader compatibility. I don't know if this will help or not. John.

Could someone please tell me what I must do to uninstall Spybot - Search & Destroy?

When I went to Add or Remove Programs and attempted to remove it, I got an error message telling me that a Spybot "unins.dat" file does not exist, and for that reason I am unable to uninstall the program.

Would it make sense to download it again over the existing copy and then try uninstalling?

Answer:Cannot uninstall Spybot (unins.dat file does not exist)

Answer:Ethernet controller/network controller drivers needed for Satellite C660

Hi

All drivers you can find on Toshiba download page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
There you can find Realtek LAN driver version 7.023.0
If you need WLAN driver, you can download from Toshiba WLAN portal - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
Your notebook has Realtek RTL8188CE WLAN card inside.

If you need more help let us know.

Hi Toshiba,

I downgraded Win8 to Win7on the Satellite C870D PSCBEE. After doing so successfully, two drivers are still missing:

*SM-Bus-Controller*
*Network Controller*

_Effects:_

- no WLAN available, my home network is not shown, pressing F12 has no effect
- no internet connection

+Curious side effect:+ I was able to connect to my home dsl / phone box to run my Windows update.

I already tried to install several drivers from the Toshiba drivers section themed network controller / WLAN.
No effect.

Who might help me? What step is missing? Where do I find the drivers above?

Help highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot for your time.

Cheers, Nic

Answer:Satellite C870D:Network controller/SM-Bus-Controller missing, no WLAN/inet

Solved.

*Source for the SM-BUS driver:*

http://www.toshiba.de/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=DE?service=DE

Here I found the display driver for my notebook. It contains the needed SM-BUS file, too.
Furthermore, the Toshiba driver section offered the correct WLAN driver.

*Probably helpful:*

Installing a new bios. Next time, this will be my first step.

Cheers, Nic

Could you please post the make and model of your computer? That way, someone can direct you to the support site for your computer where you may be able to download the drivers you're missing and install them.

There are three unknown devices in my Device Manager.

Image from Device Manager

The one labeled Network Controller recently appeared.
After windows loads, sometimes the 'Found New Hardware Wizard' will appear.
This is what pops up

I opened up Everest to investigate this, I went to Devices->Windows Devices. Here is an image of the unknown devices I found.
Images taken from Everest Ultimate Edition

I have reformatted my PC recently to TinyXP (WinXP Pro), unfortunately the previous Windows didn't come with an installation CD. I have no idea what drivers I would need to download for the the Multimedia Video Controller. As for the Network Controller I'm guessing I'll be needing a driver called Harris/Intersil PRISM 802.11g Wireless Adapter ? I have a CD labeled Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g Device which contains document information unfortunately it doesn't contain any drivers. I've tried searching for the driver, however, ended up unsuccessful.

I have uploaded a text document containing a summary of my computer.

I hope the information I have provided is adequate.

Your Asus PTGD1-LA motherboard is apparently installed in a HP or Compaq PC.

If the model is SR1318NX, drivers for your onboard video and ethernet are here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=449732&lang=en

If that isn't your model, what is it?

Drag that left or right to decrease or increase the brightness of the screen. -- from CyberSimian in the UK

Hi, i cannot seem to figure out what is going on. I just did a fresh reinstall of windows xp last night. I am caught up on all updates. I downloaded the windows live installer, selected messenger and mail. Installed both, and live mail will not start, it pops a box up that says it cannot start, either somthing wrong with the install or im out of memory, im barely even using 27% of my ram so i doubt thats it. So i went ahead and uninstalled it. tried to reinstall, same error. I even used a few programs that uninstall for you and remove all traces of it. Still, the same error. Anybody have a clue?

Hi

System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Acer Aspire 5820T

Hard drive blew so had to replace it and reinstall windows, however these two devices Network Controller and PCI Simple Communications Controller issues are not installed correctly with error message in Device Manager of (Code 28) for both.

I have installed all appropriate drivers from Download

these being:

Chipset Intel Chipset Driver 9.1.1.1024 2.3 MB 2010/04/08
Lan Atheros LAN Driver 1.0.0.33 4.6 MB 2010/06/23
Modem LSI Modem Driver 2.1.94 1.4 MB 2010/04/08
Wireless LAN Atheros Wireless LAN Driver 8.0.0.259 21.1 MB 2010/04/08

However the only device that was activated correctly after installing these was the Network Adaptor.

I therefore have no internet on this machine due to these two devices not being activated.

Please help.

I have phoned Acer but unless I go to there Premium support number at 50p/min, they can't help me.
