I had use recovery software and recover the date from pendrive, at the time power failure on my system. Later it works partially, just read the data but not format any file. After i recover another time the pendrive was fully not working. I had tried many steps for recovery through internet. But no use. Is there any possible ways to recovery or not.
I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.
I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.
You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)
It perhaps gone bad. Did you try it on other PCs?

2 more repliesMy pendrive is asked to format before using it. Even after formatting it if i copy a single song it is showing only 342 mb left. It says that this error could have been caused if you remove your device during the file is written on it.
If it's happened more than once, it's likely faulty. USB drives are cheap, disposable media that can be easily damaged or corrupted.
And yes, whenever you remove USB storage from a PC, you should use the Safely Remove hardware tool.
I download everything from the internet into my 32 GB HP Pendrive and also use it for Windows Ready Boost. But yesterday suddenly it gave the error message -

hi,
i have a 320gb transcend storejet external HD that i want to format.
will this cause any problems if i do?
thanks!
Hi barnacle, is this external drive just for storage, as in you can boot your computer without it connected?
Do you not need any of the data on it?
If it is just for storage and you dont need any dta from it then you can format it no problem.
Just go to "my computer" find the drive listed and "right click" on it, then select "format"
it should have "NTFS" as the default, if it isn't select it. and DONT do a "quick format" it is not good
for longevity.

Hi
I have a 1tb Transcend storejet ehd and has always worked fine since I got it a few months ago till today last night I left it plugged in with my laptop open and this morning it wasn't listed in my computer
I have restarted the laptop and tried all usb ports but nothing.
It is showing up though under devices and printers and I did the troubleshooter and nothing
I read online about going in computer management and earlier under disk management it was not showing at the top but was showing at the bottom in those box bits but I ejected it and took it round my friends to see if it would work on his laptop and it was just doing the same as mine not being under my computer but since I got home it isn't showing at the bottom of disk management although it is still under devices and printers.
I really don't know what else to do I am so worried because it has every photo and video of my youngest daughters on there since they were born and I was in the process of backing it all up on another ehd when this happened please It would mean so much if someone could help me to try and get it working or recovering everything on it
Thanks

Is this something that started happening after you did something with the device? Things of that nature will help us find a solution for you.In the meantime I would like to refer you here. could be the enclosure it is in, assuming the internal HD is SATA. You could try a "caddy" usb to sata from someplace like newegg , open up the external caddy you have now and swap the hard drive over...or if you have access to a desktop with SATA hook your hard drive from the caddy up to one of the sata ports, use windows explorer to see if you can see the drive. also see if the drive shows in the bios.
Im thinking about bying one of these cards. Either the SE or PRO.
Now, do you have any experience about Transcennd manufactured videocards? Are they good and wich one should i buy?
If I were you, I'd buy a Sapphire card because they are very good.
Also, don't buy the "SE" because it sucks Buy a Pro or XT.
Hi...im varun from India....I have a 320GB Store Jet and today I used secure zip to encrypt all my photos...when the encryption was almost done it came up with an error stating that a particular file could not be encrypted...and because of that many of my files were not encrypted....thats not the problem,..
After the encryption i wanted to decrypt it back...and when i looked at the StoreJet Elite Program there was no option to decrypt it....i was only able to start encrypting again and the "My Folder" Checkbox present on the right was grey-ed out(i.e. i couldnt tick it) So i cant decrypt the files and the files are not visible in explorer and now theres no way to decrypt it with the Storejet elite program....so I have no idea to as to how i can decrypt it....somebody PLEASE HELP ME those photos are really special to me....i just cant afford to lose them.....
1 more thing i would like to point out is that the photos are present in the my folder directory. Theyre not visible but when we look at the properties of the folder it shows 719MB...indicating that the photos are present in an invisibe and encrypted form....Therefore i need some help in decrypting the encrypted file....ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Thank You

Are you using Securezip Desktop?
http://www.pkware.com/support/desktop
If so, you might need to contact them.
If you are using some sort of program included with your StoreJet Elite, then you want to contact the Transcend company instead.
http://www.transcend.co.in/support/index_techsupport.asp
i just bought a 320gb transcend storejet drive.
it comes bundled with their storejet elite software that enables one touch backup.
but,, the stuff i want to backup is on a second internal drive that i see no option to backup from? the options they offer only exist on the primary drive.
any help with this,, i probably don't understand their instructions very well.
and their forum was no help.
thanks!

Today in a scufffle vd my lil sister i dropped my Transcend Storejet25p 500 Gb Portable External Harddrive on floor just from a height from my tummy to floor..!!
is there any hope of data recovery or repair at home !!'
that drive contains my lifetime memory of Studying in London !
PLEASE HELP !!
The Drive's LED just lights up when connected & inside there is a clicking sounf like tick tick tick-tick tick tick-..............& then it stops making sound !
temperature/warmth of drive is normal !!
When a harddrive makes a clicking or ticking sound that isnt good.If it was dropped that didnt help.hopefully maybe a usb sata/ide connector might be able to help you retrieve anything on there that you dont want to lose before the drive goes completely.if that doesnt work having the data retrieved by a professional could cost a lot of money and even then might not be able to be done.all harddrives can fail for many reasons whether its an internal or external one.its best that if you dont want to lose anything valuable to save things to a cd/dvd so it will be safe for a long time.
ive spent about 2 hours trying to sort this simple job out to no avail so would be appreciated if someone could help,
i bought a transcend usb 3.0 pcie card today followed the instructions installing it then installed the driver from transcend, rebooted the pc and tested with a new samsung 1tb m3 external drive, files move across but what looks like the same speed as usb 2.0.
everything seems ok in device manager there's no yellow flags.
in all programs theres a new program, Usb 3.0 Host Controller utility ive tried running that but get the message usb 3.0 host controller not found, im guessing this is the reason for the slow speed.
Hi there ... I think your Transcend USB 3.0 Card uses the Renesas Electronics -> USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver .. That should have come with the Driver Download from Transcend Website ... Have to say Renesas Drivers seem to have problems in a lot of Systems .. You can Download this Driver from the Renesas Website .. Sorry do not have any more suggestions ....
9 more repliesFolks, I would really appreciate your thoughts and inputs. I am trying to avoid surprises and reinventing the wheel. I have a freshly ordered minimalist W550s. I will be upgrading the following steps: 1. 4GB ordered to 16GB Crucial DDR3L kit 2. Empty m.2 slot to Transcend 256GB, intended as boot drive 3. 500 GB HDD ordered to Samsung 1TB 850 Pro SSD I have no issues physically installing any of these - it's the migration process I want to be clear on, and could use a bit of validation for my plan... General question: Any good reason to power up BEFORE I make these changes? The plan: 1. Pull the 500GB HDD and install the Samsung SSD, and the Transcend m.2 drive at the same time. (Also swap memory). 2. ICreate a bootable Acronis USB key on my desktop 3. Attach the removed 500GB HDD to the W550s using a USB to 2.5" adapter I have. 4. Attach the Acronis USB key, 5. Power up, and hit the bios key to select boot source, going to the Acronis USB Key to boot. 6. Directly clone the stock HDD to the Transcend m.2 drive, making it bootable. 7. Remove all the keys and adapters and reboot. 8. Add the Samsung SSD as an additional drive. Does this make sense? Any suggestions or anything I am overlooking? Is there a different way of accomplishing this that you think is better or more practical/safer? Thanks! Tom
What you first want to do is checking if everything works, perform a diagnostic test with Lenovo Solution Center and test the RAM.If something doesn't work, and tech support needs to check if the hardware replacement worked, then they can quickly use the factory Windows version from Lenovo.Plus you may want to clone the recovery partition or maybe create recovery media from it.

The problem: transfer rates with my USB drive, normally 14-16 MB/s, sometimes drop to ~1 MB/s. When the speeds slow, checking the drive properties suggests the drive is connected to a USB 1.1 port. The speeds are a bit of an issue as I need to transfer outlook pst's (~4-5 GB at a time) to and from the USB drive each day - normally it is a few minutes, but when speeds slow it can take >1 hr.
Strangely, while one drive may seem to be connected to a USB 1.1 port, another drive connected at the same time reports it is connected to a USB 2.0 port. Equally strangely, the reported speed a port has will change (today the middle port is stuck at USB 1.1 speeds; tomorrow the middle port is OK but the far left port is stuck at USB 1.1. speeds).
I am running Win 7 ultiimate x64 on a Dell Latitude D6420 with 3 USB 2.0 ports and an eSATA port. I am using Transcend 32GB and 64B USB sticks ("ultrafast" = V600). The appropriate drivers from Dell are all installed and Device Manager shows no problems with the USB drives. All drivers are up to date according to Windows. One of the USB drives is formatted as exFAT and the other as NTFS. Connecting the USB stick to the eSATA / USB port does not ever seem to give me USB 1.1 transfer speeds.
Some earlier posts on the subject suggest some ideas (update drivers, format as NTFS). None seem very applicable to my problem. For example:
8gb Transcend Flash Drive with slow read/write speeds
Slow USB transfer
THANKS for any suggestions.
what is the composition of the data being transferred (a lot of small files? how big?)? Is it always like that?
theoretically, file transfer speeds of pendrives suck when asked to write a lot of small files.
Hi,
I recently purchased Transcend 320gb external hard drive. The file system is in FAT32 preformatted . However my winXP sp2 has NTFS file system. Do I need to format the External Hard Disk to NTFS system too? Or I can just start storing it in FAT32 system
Are there any advantages and Disadvantages? I have checked many sites and found lots of variable ideas. So I am confused. Personally I prefer NTFS system (just because I have been using it for long)
Please do advise me.
Thanking you in advance
Wolfhammer
You can start storing in FAT32. The drawback is if you want to store very large individual files (like in excess of 4GB). If you want to do that, you actually will need third-party software to reformat that drive to NTFS. Otherwise I'd leave it as is.
I've recently received my new X250, but since it only came with 180GB SSD, I've decided to get M.2 Transcend 256GB drive. Installation went fine, drive could be seen and accessed from the OS, and all seemed good. After few days I've started noticing the drive randomly disappearing from My Computer, and BIOS messages about M.2 error. Usually power off/on would fix the issue. The drive is TS256GMTS400, with firmware N1114H. I've tried the Transcend software (SSD Scope), but it would not detect my drive. So the next step was the support - I was advised that this revision of the drive has known compatibility issue with X250, and I need to send it back to be replaced with newer version. I was told that it is not possible to just upgrade firmware on this drive.I've stupidly decided to give it a chance, and unfortunately just few days later the drive has stopped working - not visible from BIOS anymore, and the system would bluescreen on restart. I'm not sure yet if I've lost any data (fortunately not much there) - I'm waiting for M.2-USB3 cable to test the drive this way.I am obviosuly now going to send it back. The computer now works fine after I've removed it.Beware of Transcend M.2 drives for your X250!!!
Just wanted to give some update:1. Transcend support reacted very quickly and supplied me with anogher drive with newer and supposedly compatible firmware.2. Drive was fine, not dissapearing as the previous one.3. Two weeks later the drive died in exactly same way as the previous one losing all the data that was on it.I managed to get Amazon to refund me at least. Still need some drive though.

1 more repliesHi All,
My laptop is Dell Latitude E6330, with latest BIOS ver A17
The existing BIOS is legacy, and the Windows 10 in the laptop is MBR type.
I cloned it using Transcend SSD Scope but it is not bootable. (Checked in the SSD Scope, its firmware is latest)
I have tried using Windows 10 dvd to boot and direct install into the SSD. Both BIOS/MBR and UEFI/GPT unable to proceed the Windows 10 installation.
Does this Transcend SSD370S compatible to Dell Latitude E6330 ?
Please help. Thanks.
So I can’t read this Japanese press release very well, even after it is translated but I do know that I want a 16GB flash drive to carry around all my pr0…errr, files and stuff.
JetFlash™ is designed, being slim, in order with USB2.0 flash drive of high speed and bulk, to fit to busy life style. JetFlash of 16GB which this time joins to line-up was designed because of the high end user which desires the USB memory of especially big capacity.

4 more repliesI have a USB Flash Drive here, Transcend JF V60, serial number D33193.
To be clear, there is no mistake about the serial number. It is clearly marked and no part is obscured or rubbed off.
The drive is recognized well enough by Windows that it assignes a drive letter; but, when I attempt to access it, Windows instructs me there is no disk in the drive. It is as though Windows "thinks" it is a CD or DVD drive that contains no disk.
I went to the Transcend site and they suggest I download and run a utility from one of these address (both are the same):
http://www.transcend.nl/Products/online_recovery_1.asp
http://www.transcendusa.com/Products/online_recovery_1.asp
Problem is the utility is asking for a 10-digit serial number and there is no such serial number on the device.
Now here's what I want to know: Is there a utility out there somewhere that might repair this flash drive? The one from Transcend is useless.

Are you talking about the S/N entry box in the pages you linked to or were you able to download and install the software and it asks for a S/N?
FWiW, if it is the first case, the page has a link to how to find the S/N for each model. I wrote down the example S/N for the V60 and tried it (minus dashes) in the S/N entry box. It seemed to work and took me to a page with a download link for a zip file for the program. Not sure if it will ask for any S/N if you try to download, install and launch the program.

Does your desktop come equipped with a card reader? If not you can get a usb card reader for next to nothing these days or you can get a 3.5" internal card reader and install it in your PC.

I am attempting to take ownership of files using the following steps in Windows XP Professional SP3:1. I open the Security Properties tab by right-clicking on the folder, clicking Properties, and clicking the tab labeled Security.2. I click the Advanced button. The Advanced Security Settings window opens.3. In the new window, I click the Owner tab.4. I select the Administrators group by selecting Administrators (COMPUTERNAME\Administrators) in the list.5. I tick Replace owner on subcontainers and objects.6. I click OK to dismiss the Advanced Security Settings window.7. I click OK to dismiss the Properties window. This grants me ownership of the folder for which I'm opening the properties window, but not the folders or files beneath it, which I would like as well. I can set the security properties on each object and subcontainer individually, but I would like to do it all at once.First post BTW.
I had this problem on earlier versions of XP, but it seems to be working better now.
Are you up to date on Windows Updates?
In the "old days" it was common to have to burrow your way down through the directory structure because Windows was a bit flakey about applying permissions/ownership.
Another way is to use cacls or xcacls to change the permissions (but I haven't used those tools in a long, long time).
Are these compatible? The T460 seems to be ignoring the M.2 SSD installed in the WWAN slot. Any BIOS settings to tweak?

I have a transcend cl10 sd card. I am using realtek builtin card reader from Thinkpad Edge.
When I first insert the sd card, the read/write speed is 8/12mbyte/s approx. It just about pass the cl10 rating of 10mb/s
However after I leave the sd card after sometime say 1hr, when I try to copy files again, the speed drop to 2-4mb/s.
If I remove and insert the sd card, its speed immediately rise back to above 8mb/s.
Is it possible to solve this problem.
Thanks.
SO I have a 1 TB Transcend Hard disk and it use to work perfectly flawless before I updated my windows 10 now after I have updated my windows 10 my laptop does not detect my Hard disk I can see it in my disk Management but can't change the disk letter so that specific solution is useless. Also I have checked on my other laptop with windows 10 and the hard disk is detected there and works fine.
Please help as I don't want to format the hard disk I don't have enough space in my other laptop to backup all the data that is in my hard disk and neither do I have money right now to buy the new hard disk and transfer all stuff there so can you provide a solution for it?

I did a Search and found that drive may need a USB 3.0 port and depending upon the age of your Notebook you may have only USB 2.0 ports.
Transcend hard disk drive at DuckDuckGo
Supposedly the USB 3.0 drives can be backward compatible to USB 2.0 but that's really no guarantee. Most times the USB 2.0 ports have a black 'tongue' while the USB 3.0 ports are blue.

Hi XAXA,From a troubleshooting perspective there's a handful of things to consider. We should start from the ground-up. Let's consider the following:- Is the device receiving electricity? (If you plug something else in that same socket, does it turn on?) <check this one when your hard disk is NOT working>---- If the answer is yes you may have a fault in the electrical wiring to the device.- Does the device have a toggle or similar switch to turn on? If it is fouled you may not be making a good electrical connection. <play with the switch; does it flicker or give you unpredictable results?)---- If the answer is yes you may have a faulty switch (or button, etc.)- Does the device make (excessive) noise when it is turned on?---- If a lot of noise, or a scraping or grinding sound, you have a physical issue with your hard drive. A protectionary measure may be the auto-off feature which you could be seeing.- Is the device plugged into your computer? (We want a good connection)---- If no, you should plug it into the proper port-type (such as a USB?)---- If yes, please ensure you're plugging it into the proper port-type (if not the proper port-type you could be causing an electrical short; check the device's documentation)In any event, if none of the above helps you may do best by checking the owner's manual or searching for one on the Internet (usually available for free in .PDF form.) You could also take it back to where you bought it and have them take a look at it. In ... Read more

Hi all I got win7, win xp, win vista and xp pro all as rars im looking to put them on my usb stick to boot on laptop and pc that not got disk drive can someone please help on how to do this .. am I right in saying I need to un rar to get iso then copy iso to stick or am I far off the mark .. thanks in advance
That depends if the ISO is actually contained within the RAR archives. The methods for putting them on a USB stick vary depending on the OS to be used.
You'll find most USB sticks far too small in capacity to run the later OSes though, and given the fact they need drivers for specific hardware as part of the install process on each individual machine its unlikely you'll get them to work reliably, if at all.
I need help fellow members of MT please. Help me fix this.

My laptop can`t work with that card properly.
Is there any solution?
Hello
Have you checked compatibility list in ?user?s manuals?. Usually there is described which cards can be used and what is the max. capacity. If I am remembering this card is readable up to 4 GB only.
I?m afraid there is no solution.
What you can try is to install card reader driver for newer Satellite A300 in hope it will help.

Have you use the harddrive before, have you used it on a mac or is it brand new? If you have not used it before, i should recomend you format it, if it has a file table with FAT32. Choose NTFS, cause then you can store bigger files than 4 GB.

Hi LOBIZZY,
Welcome to Seven Forums.
1. Check and tell us whether it shows up in Windows Disk Management. Post a screenshot.
2. If the external does not have a drive letter, give it a drive letter.
3. Plug it into other ports and check.
4. Change the cable and see whether it makes a difference.
5. Plug it into another PC and check what happens.
I have Dell Inspiron 3543 laptop with i5 processor(5th gen). I want ot upgrade it with 8 GB RAM so Which brand RAM is good? Kingston, Corsair, Transcend or Adata?
"Good" and "compatible" may not be synonymous.
Avoid the "value" line (KIngston Value RAM, Corsair Value Select, etc.) and buy the correct specification memory and you'll likely have success with the upgrade.
If you want a compatibility guarantee, Crucial is one of the few that offers one.

If you insert it into a USB 2.0 port? You likely need to update your USB drivers. It did that on this old Dell Dimension that I got from a good friend, until I updated its drivers.
Hi, Tried to upgrade the RAM by adding a 4GB Transcend TS512MSK64V3H DDR3 1333 SO-DIMM 9-9-9 1Rx8. When adding it with either of the existing 2GB DIMMs it would bring up the boot screen but would beep and reboot when trying to boot the OS. When installing it on it's own it would start to boot and then kernel panic and stop? Does anyone know if this particular DIMM is compatible with the T510i? Thanks in advanceTom
Solved!

Hi,officially t510i supports the following type of RAM:8GB max / PC3-8500 1066MHz DDR3, non-parity1st gen Intel Core like i3-370m (is the CPU model in your laptop like this one?) supports DDR3-800/1066 RAM.Moreover, look at the page below regarding supported laptops:http://www.transcend-info.com/Support/compatibility/product/442/So, the aswer for your question - laptop doesn't support the RAM stick you have because of incompatibility.

Does cp = computer
It depends of what you mean by re-do. If you mean reinstall windows then using your recovery disc is the best option.
If you mean replacing backed up files then all drives can do this easily, just ensure when you backup it is kept tidy and simple ie. makes folders such as Music, Videos, Documents etc.

fat32 is an older system with file limits on 3gb I think
NTFS is just newer with more features and can handle much larger file sizes
I would re-format the hard drive to nfts is you can

Hi there, I was hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this as it's got me completely stumped, and pretty down at the same time if the truth be told. I'll outline the problem below although the title of the thread may actually be slightly misleading.
My system is as follows:
ASUS M2A-VM Motherboard
Athlon X2 Dual Core 5000+
4gb DDR2
250gb primary SATA HDD
500gb secondary SATA HDD
Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
I thought I'd buy me a USB3 expansion card (transcend TS-USB3) to take advantage of the speeds my new external HD would handle. It was a five minute install putting it into the PCI-E slot, but when I turned my PC back on I got the CMOS message in the title of the thread. I continued into Windows with no problem but noticed my clock and date had gone completely out of whack. I corrected that but then had trouble installing the drivers for the card. I rebooted the PC only to get the CMOS message again, so I had a nose at my BIOS settings where everything seemed fine.
I booted back into Windows and re-downloaded the drivers from Transcend's website. They installed this time with no problem, and the PC picked up my new external HD. Then I noticed the real problem; as I went to start moving files from my secondary HDD to my external HD, the secondary HD had disappeared.
I've unplugged the HDD and rebooted to no effect, I've checked the BIOS and that sees it, I've even disconnected the USB3 card and rebooted to no effect. I just can't get the PC (just Windows by ... Read more
A couple of pertinent pieces of information to add to the OP. I forgot to add that the Checksum Error has completely disappeared, it only happened three or four times but Windows boots normally now.
Secondly, the USB3 card is now working again and the external HD is detected and working perfectly. I just can't figure out for the life of me how to get Windows to see the secondary drive again.
Have checked on an old 1gb usb drive and that works fine (it does give me an option to "safely" eject.

4 more repliesHello all,
My copy of Windows 7 Home Premium x64 on my laptop has been having some strange issues lately. I cannot run .msi files, and device manager never populates a full list. Sometimes (rarely, but it does repeat) Windows Explorer will freeze, and if I attempt to close it and reopen it using task manager, the UI reloads, but whenever I click on a folder it claims Windows cannot load explorer. Restarting fixes that. I scheduled and ran CHKDSK, and it repaired a few bad sectors, but it didn't fix any of these problems. I have run CCleaner (both the regular cleaner and registry fixer) and defragmented my hard drive until it's only 1% fragmented. I then tried sfc /scannow, and it read a bunch of corrupted files but could not repair them. I read that to fix sfc, you must download and run Windows System Update Readiness Tool. It has been running and "Searching for Updates on this Computer" for about an hour now, and I'm getting concerned that it's just not doing anything. It's not frozen, the bar keeps moving from left to right and I can click on and off of it. I also have the logs from sfc if anyone wants to take a look at them, they'll be attached. The computer isn't very old, and has an intel i3 and 4gb of ram. If you would like any extra information to help, please reply and I'll get back to you as fast as I can Any recommendations on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for any and all help!

So, I reformatted my computer again. Did some SFC scans before I installed any Microsoft updates and all scans were clean. Did all the updates, drivers, program installations. Couple days later I decide to check with SFC and found some errors. There's also errors at the source, meaning I can't replace them correct? This seems kind of stupid. Always having corrupted files no matter how many times I reformat.

From the last entry in your report below, it looks like they have been repaired, and you are good to go.

this is a blind guess but it could be the 84 folders some equipment does not like too many folders. Could you start again but nest the folders inside other folders so that the drive sees a smaller no.

it worked fine for months,
but unfortunately, it is not working any more!
If inserted, the computer recognizes it as a flash drive, and places it in the "Safely Remove Hardware",
but if we tried to open it, it says "Insert disk in drive..."
I saw it's properties it says: Rmovable disk>>> Size 0MB !!!
where the media gone?
I tried to format it says "no disk in drive..."
I tried to fix using HP recovery, and other utilities, but it insists on, "No disk in drive"
Is there is something to do?

This can happen when the drive is not removed properly.
Plug in the drive, then go to "my computer".
Right click the drive and click eject.
Remove the drive and restart the computer.
Try the drive again.

Hi,
Have you checked your tv manufacturer's website to see if your tv can play movies from just a usb flash drive as most lcd tv's don't do that if this is what you mean. The usb slot on a TV is there mainly for updates for itself, although having said that there is a few that will let you play a slideshow of pictures from it.
Have a look online at LG's website typing in your tv's make model/serial number, it will definitely tell you.
