Error during Office 2010 setup

Question: Error during Office 2010 setup

I get the following erroe when setting up Office 2010

Error 1013. Setup cannot acess the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\EQUATION. Verify that the folder exists in your system and that you have sufficient permissions to update it.

When I open the EQUATION folder I can't change the security.

Thanks for any and all help.

Preferred Solution: Error during Office 2010 setup

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hey guys, sorry if this has been answered but I'm not finding it anywhere or anything that helps from my googling and forum reading...

Here's my problem, summed up...

I upgraded from W7 to W10 a few months ago, everything was well (incl MS Ofc) and then recently I ran into some spyware issues that I had to do a "Reset Computer" on W10. So, obviously it removed all my programs (or apps, as they call it now) and I went to reinstall my MS Office Pro 2010 from the .exe file I have saved. I tried it 3 times at least and it keeps running into the "encountered a problem during setup" error. So, I found a different download on Microsoft and tried that several times to no avail, same error. So, I tried disabling AV and such things and still, error. From some things I read with other users that had this issue dealt with .net framework and such, but they were all running W7. I have no idea how to fix this problem on W10. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions, please? I appreciate any help in advance.

If you have the product key, MS can help you via download or if you have the disc. Not sure the disc you created can work.

I had the Beta version for Office 2010 and uninstalled the Beta version prior to installing the new office 2010. I get an error that halts the installing process.

The error says;

Setup is unable to proceed due to the following
MS office 2010 does not support upgrading from a prerelease version of
MS office 2010. You must first uninstall the prerelease version of MS office 2010 products & associated technologies.
Correct these issues listed above and re-run setup
I uninstalled everything that related to MS office 2010 (Beta)

What must I check to make sure all files are uninstalled?

Thanks

I have been trying to install Microsoft Office Standard 2010 for two days on my laptop running Windows Vista. Every time I try to install it I get an error message that simply says "Microsoft Office Standard 2010 encountered an error during setup." That's it. No error code, no description of the problem. I have tried many solutions I've found on Google, but nothing works. I have uninstalled my Office 2007, and even taken steps to ensure that it was completely removed. I've also renamed the Microsoft Help folder, and tried some "fix it" programs on Microsoft's web site. I cannot find the right solution anywhere. I know it's not my copy of the installation disk, because I installed it on my Windows XP netbook earlier this week and had no problems (I have multiple licenses). Does anyone have an idea?

Answer:Microsoft Office Standard 2010 Encountered an Error During Setup

Have you used the microsoft office removal tools that Microsoft offers on it's site.
You'll have to google for these because I don't know the exact link.
I ran these because I have rests of other MS Ofice installtaions on my disk, and yes the error codes are just as clear as a foggy day in London.
You could also use a tool like CCleaner to have it chekc the regsitry for invalid items.
Good hunting, it's a nuisance

Hi guys,
I have got a laptop with a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro x64 on it. When I try to install Office 2007 Enterprise or Office Pro Plus 2010 on it the setup tries to start but then crashes with "Microsoft Office Setup has stopped working". I have tried installing from a downloaded ISO as well in case the disks were in bad condition but exactly the same issue occured.
Any help much appreciated.

I am running a machine with windows 8.1 64bit (I think). I tried installing office 2010 yesterday and got the 1935 error. I tried looking in my add/uninstall program folder for the .net framework that I had seen as the solution. It is not there. It is however in my registry. I have tried the cleanup tool, I have tried several other things. I even uninstalled office xp to try that. Nothing has worked. This morning I tried to reinstall XP and I got the 1303 error. I am at my wits end with this. I am an author and I REALLY need office to continue on my work. Please help. Oh in the add/ remove program window the only framework file is one called microsoft xna framework redistributable 4.0 does this have anything to do with my problem?

When attempting to install MS Office 2010 (also applies to Pro, Beta, and 2007) via download, you may be foiled by Error code 25004 and System error 1073418460 under Win 7 (or Vista, XP). You may also see a refusal to verify the license. This typically happens when you fail to uninstall Office 2010 Starter, Office Click, or some other version of Office before attempting to install the new Office. You would think MS had already figured out how to prevent this <sigh>.

You need to remove all the instances of Office in order to properly install the new office. However, you may also find that the Windows uninstall from Control Panel, Add or change a program will fail to remove the old Office.

This thread can be helpful, although it is somewhat dated. The RevoUninstaller sounds like a successful utility, but I have not tried it myself.

Hello,

My wife has a new computer with Windows 10 and we're trying to activate Office 2010. The error we get every time we try to activate is "a communication error has occurred 0x80072EE7."

I saw some posts about syncing the time and date but it didn't work. Completely uninstalled and tried again, same error.

The phone activation is no longer an option for Office 2010. Does anyone know how in the world to work around this error?

Thank you for any advice.

It seems that there may be a problem in Office 2010. I just installed it to the standard MS default/recommended settings .........all looked good...used Word great..until I use Excel and each time I try to use excel it sets off an 'Office Configuration' screen which I can not stop..it take a few minutes and then loads OK. I tried to launch it from the installed prgrams icon but there is no files on 'start in' etc..I tied to create a shortcut to the desktop from the excel.exe file and get the same reconfigure issue..it seem that somehow I don't have either permissions or I have a corrupt install..all Office suite works eventually Anyone know how to fix it..please?

Answer:Office 2010 Pro Plus Win7 x 64 Excel reconfigures Office 2010

Have you ever had a previous version of Office on this copy of win7?
or

Do you have any component of a previous office suite installed still

I have seen this in the past with Viso that was due to remnents of an earlier trial remaining on disk and in the registry.

I also found that if I cancelled the configuration screen the Viso would load without problems without the need to wait for completion.

There are some rather involved solution stems on Microsoft website - cannot find them at the present but will try to look for them.

The problem was that I could never get the removal steps to actually cure the issue and I put up with the error until my next re-install of Win7, which was not to long in the case of that system

I don't know if maybe I'm the only one who runs into this problem or if it happens to a lot of people, but it seems to come up a lot for me.

I have had this issue on many computers but right now I am setting up an old Dell Latitude E5510 for an employee and I have reformatted, installed all drivers, and programs needed. I installed Office 2007, because this employee won't really be using the computer much.

I start up Windows Updates today and it has me downloading 3 updates for Windows 2010. This computer had Office 2010 on it before it was reformatted. Is it still sensing Office 2010 buried somewhere in the files and that's why it's asking me to install updates for it? Does Office 2007 use updates that are also made for 2010(and are only labled 2010)? Anyone have any ideas? I don't believe it's hurting anything, but I am curious!

Thanks

Answer:Error in Office 2010 Installation

There seems to be quite a few issues when trying to install the beta on systems that have or have had a previous version of Office on them. The only way I got it to install on my system was using a program called RipOutOffice2007, then going in and deleting all of the Office folders from my Program Files directories.

If you want to keep your 2007 install, then this is not a method you want to use. Hopefully someone can give you some advice on getting them running side by side.

So I downloaded it from Microsoft site. Run Setup and get Setup is unable to proceed error(s). I surrender.

Updated to Win 10- received 2010 single image error- uninstalled Office 2010 with Fixit utility off of MS website,
Single Image error code- no longer a problem.
Tried to reinstall Office 2010 from CD- error code 1935.
- uninstalled / reinstalled framework.net- nope.
- renamed Microsoft Help Folder- nope.
- re-installed Win 10 off of USB- nope.
- tried to install in compatibility mode for 8.1- nope.

I've ran CCleaner and Norton Utilities hoping they would clean out some left over garbage but that wasn't it.
What I've found online to address this issue either isn't for Win 10 or it's a fix some 3rd Party software.

Any suggestions?

Thanks-
Late

Answer:Office 2010 installation error 1935.

Hi there, I had installed Office 2010 more than 6 months ago. Somehow two months ago, I receive the following message when I tried to open up the application (MSWord, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.):

"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application even log for more detail."

I have not install any new application since I have installed the Office 2010, except Window Updates. I reinstall office 2007 and I have no problem running it.

I would appreciate any advice as how to resolve the above errors.

Hi,

I am trying to install Office 2010 on my Dell XPS 710 running Windows 7 Ultimate (x86). Howere clicking on the file I downloaded from MSDN, I get a message saying it is extracting files and once the progress bar has gone across the program stops with no message or error. I have tried running this program in Administrator Mode but get the same result. I currently have Office 2007 Professional running on this PC. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks Mateen

I've been having trouble installing Office 2010. I legitimately own 2007, and I get the free upgrade to 2010, but it's the actual installing part that isn't working.

Basically, I try to install it side by side with Office 2007, but it won't work. I get this error message about 2/3 way through the install:

Error 1920: The service (osppsvc) could not be started. Make sure you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

I am an admin, running XP Home, and I definitely have the permissions to start services. I read that changing the service to start under the Local Account instead of the NTAUTHORITY/NetworkService it's set to by default would fix it, and i can start the service after changing this, but the install rolls back anyways.

I have tried completely uninstalling Office 2007, deleting all registry entries, using CCleaner to patch up any registry problems. I also used Windows Installer Clean Up to remove it, didn't help.

So i can install and use Office 2007 just fine, but when i go to install office 2010, i get this error every time.

I checked the permissions for all users, and i have full control. I also gave that NetworkService account full permissions, didn't help.

Any help would be great.

I've recently downloaded Office 2010 Professional Plus from the Microsoft Home Use Program. When I try to install it, the process encounters an error (actually crashes explorer.exe most times through the installation process) - the problem is, it doesn't specify an error code! I'm not overly computer savvy, so maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot, but the extractor doesn't seem to be extracting the setup files into my Temp folder and there is no log file located there for me to reference for an error code. I have lots of space on my drive (~30 GB), so setup should not be aborting due to space limitations. I'm running Windows 7 Professional and it is kept current according to Windows Update.

I've gone through the forums here and other Google sources and tried everything I could find from deleting old Office installations, to changing permissions, etc. Mind you, there isn't much troubleshooting information given that Office 2010 is still only early in its release - I can't even find the official Microsoft support site for the suite. My old installation of Office 2007 is deleted (folders and registry entries) and I've restarted many times, without effect.

I am not encountering any error when I try to install Project Professional 2010 or Vision Premium 2010 (they install and work fine).

Needless to say, I'm at a dead end in terms of knowing what to do next. Very much appreciate any assistance the more knowledgeable users can provide.

When the Office 2010 beta first came out I was so exited to install it that I tried to install it while I still had office 2007 installed. Of coarse, the install failed. So I just went to go and uninstall 2007 but the uninstaller didn't work. Then I just went to Program Files folder and deleted the office folder and deleted some registry values.

Now the 2010 installer doesn't work, and the 2007 uninstaller doesn't work. Right now the error message I get is this error.

I have looked throu the microsoft website to find all the possible ways to get rid of all old versions of office, bbut I still get this error message, and I still have the "Q:" drive form the first install, and can't get rid of it.

Hello, Welcome to SF,

If the regular method failed then try the Office Uninstaller see whether you could remove using that mostly left over files used to remove then you use this Tool. If that fails then follow this document to remove the left over files manually. One thing i'm doubtful is "Q:" what are you referring to does it give the error about a Q: ??

I have not evaluated that problem in detail, but it may be caused by a broken installation of Net Framework, by some brokenness in Windows Installer or by incorrect registry entries of Office 2010. Anyway, searching for "Office 2010" install 1935 gives me more than 50.000 results...

I can't not under stand why this part of Office doesn't work meanwhile all the other components of Office 2010 work just fine. I have gone in and tried to check the Permission with the Office OneNote 2010 with my user account and it was set to full control. I have tried reinstalling Office as well, and still nothing same problem. I have 410GB Free space on my hard drive. I have plenty of free ram left as well. Was using office 2010 beta on my newer Dell Windows 7 64 bit desktop and it worked great. Eventually purchased the full version of Office Professional 2010 and attempted to load after following instructions to uninstall first. Downloaded the fixit app from the Windows site X16-32007 which worked fine on my other computer (Toshiba laptop).

After running this app seems to be ready to install.

Now after entering in the correct product keys get the following message:

Not only does this prevent Office 2010 from installing I also can't install Itunes.

Hi everyone, I was hoping someone might be able to lend a hand
Basically my problem is as described in the title. Whenever I try to open a document I have saved, or powerpoint/word/excel individually, a series of boxes pop up in sequence.

First box says 'preparing to install' and quickly disappears.

Second box says 'Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Single Image 2010... Getting required information'.

This is then finally replaced with the 'Fatal error during installation' error.

This is on my 1.5 year old laptop running Windows 7. I've had Office 2010 on it since I bought the laptop, but it's only now decided to stop opening. I've tried manually uninstalling Office to try to reinstall Office, but I then get a 'Microsoft Office Professional 2010 uninstall did not complete successfully'.

If anybody knows anything about this and can offer some advice I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks very much.

Answer:'Fatal error during installation' when trying to open Office 2010

Since you are not able to uninstall Microsoft Office 2010 manually, a 3rd party uninstaller could easily get rid of it. Run Office 2010 Removal Tool and use it to uninstall Office 2010, manually. Then, re-install Office 2010, this should put things back to default.

I have a MS Word application which uses a DSN-less connection to access a remote SQL database and which runs properly under a 32 bit OS. However, on my Windows 7 x64 systems with Office 2010 (32 bit) I get the following error when running the application:

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified.

I have done a bunch of searching, and have found a number of suggested solutions. The one which seems most likely to work is to install the Office System Driver Data Connectivity Components 2010.

Is this the best approach for solving the problem? If so, should I install the 32 or 64 bit version? If this is not the best approach, what would you suggest?

Answer:Continuous error installing MS Office 2010 SP 2 update

Hi there
try a TOTAL uninstall of MS Office 2010 - reboot and then try again. Install MS office, then apply windows updates - you might need to apply two or three sets before SP2 appears in the update list.

(I assume your W7 install is at SP1 level -- that a pre-req for Office 2010 sp2).

I had Office 2007 running fine on my Win 7 x64 machine, don't ask me why I decided to waste my time to uninstall it and try to install Office 2010... Get the error 1935 bla bla.... for about 20 trials to install.

Tried all the rounds suggested: .NET repair, system restore now no longer complete (no change to system), no matter which restore point I choose..., disble Anti-virus (Kaspersky), try to install in Safe mode, I probably forget half of the list I have tried... Always same result. Worse: I get the same thing if I try simply to reinstall Office 2007!

I get that (no details needed - I see this had been a classic for at least 5 years now with no effective solution but to reinstall Win 7 or Repair - even though I have read the latest sometimes did not even worked). Both are out of my options: this machine run much more important programs/projects (recording studio, video editing) for fooling around with reinstalling. Plus, I have a OEM install and paid for online purchase of upgrade to Win 7 Pro. So even repair in these conditions is not possible from what I read.

I have not read anything new written since early 2010 on this topic, is there anything new to solve it? It appears MS have not been able to solve this for 6 years, and 3 versions ! I had same problem last year with Expression Web 2 and 4, finally been able to solve with 4 after a system restore. I was hoping to do the same here.

Hey guys!
I installed the beta to Office 2010, and did it as an upgrade over my Office 2007 install. I liked the new Office, but one of the add ons, Google Synch, dind't recognize the version and kept giving me an error message, saying that version wasn't supported.

Fair enough, But that app is pretty important to me, so I uninstalled the office beta and reinstalled 2007. It worked well, except now when I start Outlook, or google synch kicks in, i get an error message from outlook that says something to the effect of "The Outlook data file you're opening ws created by a newer version of MS Outlook. If you have problems, you can create a new porfile by going to....(etc)" and then proceeds to explain how to create a new profile...etc...which of course i don't want to do if at all possible.

Any idea how to get rid of that error message?

Thanks everyone!

The error 80070663 may be related with the Windows Update Installer.
Try this:
Use this Microsoft Fix it to completetly uninstall Office 365 or Office 2013 suites and programs.
Run Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter and see if it helps.
Run Windows Update troubleshooter
Else, try to manually download the Office installer from Microsoft and install it.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit on an Alienware M14x.

Okay, let me list out all the problems.

It will not install updates correctly, meaning it will reboot two times before it says, "failure to update, reverting changes" and allow me to log into my computer. Sometimes it will take 15 minutes per "Configuring Windows, please wait" screen.

It is also not allowing me to download Microsoft Office 2010. I keep getting this error code:
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {A75F2217-AD54-3EA6-AE14-F255F8660531}. HRESULT: 0x8007054F.

And none of the updates are sticking.

Every time I close out of Windows Update after installing a Security update, it says there are updates available, and it's another Security update. wtf? Also, I get the error code "Code BC9, Windows Update encountered an unknown error" when it tries to install Internet Explorer, so that doesn't install either.

I did a diagnostic test, and nothing came up as an actual system error, so it's just all Windows itself.

Here is the HijackThis log.
Pastebin

Edit: I ran a full scan on Microsoft Security Essentials and it found a trojan and two other issues. I promptly removed them. However it still didn't repair my update issues (which might be due to a connectivity problem) or my Microsoft Office 2010 problem.

Began getting this error with previously normally functioning office 2010. Attempted repair with no positive results.

Uninstalled with plans to reinstall but unable to do so. Get the above mentioned error plus 'verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.'

Ran MS fixit for this problem but no positive results

Hi.

First post here. I've been volunteering at our local library, providing some tech support. I finally got all their computers upgraded to Window 10 just before the end of July( and the free upgrade period ). I hadn't noticed at the time that some of the computers didn't have Office 2010 installed on them, and some of the patrons have been asking for it.

The library does have a volume license for Office 2010 Professional Plus. I got on the MS site, and downloaded the .iso file for that, and the product key, and am trying to install it. I'm getting an error that says

This product requires Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 or above

Everything I've found on the web indicates Office 2010 is certified to run on Windows 10.

Not really sure what I need to do.

Any help is appreciated!

Marc

Answer:Error installing Office 2010 on Win 10, requires Windows 2008 SP2

This problem appears to pre-date Windows 10. The last 'do it myself' solution offered here would seem to be the one you want..

Method 2: Turn off compatibility modeTo resolve this issue, you must disable compatibility mode before you try to install Office 2010.

Answer:Can't Install MS Office 2010 Professional Plus - Error code: 1603

This can occur when the installed edition is different from the one you are trying to upgrade it to. Or it could be a a permission issue.
Please try to run the upgrade as an admin and see if it helps.
Also see; Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 encountered an error during setup You receive an "error 1603: A fatal error occurred during installation" error message when you try to install a Windows Installer package
But I'm sure you must have seen both these threads.
Unless someone else comes up with a solution here, perhaps the option for you would be a clean install.

I've just put Windows 7 on laptop and tried reinstalling student version of Office Professional Plus 2007 (which was on there before but with Vista). It gets nearly halfway through installation before it says that it can't find setup.exe and asks me to browse folders to find where it is. I've tried looking but can't find it and so have to abort process.
Can anyone help?

Answer:Can't install Office Professional Plus 2007 - setup.exe error

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Was this a pre-installed version of Microsoft Office or do you have a DVD for it?

If it is a DVD you could try creating a new folder on your hard drive and copy the contents of the DVD to it, and then try to install it from there.

If it was pre-installed and you've installed Windows 7 instead of Vista the Office files may be missing or corrupted.

Was it a clean install of Windows 7 or an upgrade?

Have you checked to see if you have a Windows.old folder? If you have take a look in it and see what files are in there from your Vista installation.

I've recently purchased a copy of Office 2007 Standard edition. Everytime I try to install it, windows gives me this error message: Setup did not complete successfully. We are sorry for the inconvenience. An error occured during the installation, and setup was unable to complete.

Now what? I tried a different CD-ROM, but it does the same thing. I only have one user license so I can't put it on another machine. I ran a checkdisk and that didn't help. Should I uninstall the trial of Office 2007 before installing Office 2007? I'm currently using Office 2003

Please help!

PS- This is NOT a trial version.

Unfortunately, reinstalling won't fix this, as the error occurs when an Office add-on tries to utilize ActiveX to access something. Check to see what add-ons you are using.

Try disabling them all. If that solves the issue, try adding them back one by one until you find the culprit.

I recently installed Office 2010 on my system running windows 7, all files open without a problem, but recently when i tried opening an file with an extension of office 97-2003 , i got an error message saying it couldn't identify the extension as it was different than what was specified. I went ahead and opened the file , disappointingly all that appeared were random special characters and gibberish, not one bit of what the file contained.
I've tried searching for possible solutions everywhere, but no avail. Hence i unistalled office 2010 and downgraded to office 2007 expecting it to work.Same result. Now i have lost hope, someone please help ? :confused
Thank you!

My Microsoft Office package was already activated, until couple days ago while opening Office Word I had this kind of message:

This copy of Microsoft Office has not been activated (*translated from Finnish)

[--]

Error code: 0xC004F074

I don't understand what's wrong with this. The message just suddenly came without any major updates taken place. I have tried to google other threads, without any succeed.

Any suggestions?

P.S. I'm quite handy with computers but not an expert, so please instructions which can be understood.

Answer:Problem with Microsoft Office 2010 - activation error code 0xc004f074

The License type here appears to be KMS - which requires a dedicated KMS server to activate against at least every 180 days.

It's a Volume License - if you purchased this license retail, then it's counterfeit.

Answer:1935 error when install Microsoft office 2010 on new comp windows 10

Is that the full error message?

Sometimes it pops up when you try and install a program and there's another program running that 'clashes' with the install process or it could possibly be an issue with the correct version of .NET not being installed , but it depends what the full message is.

I have spent at least six hours (probably longer) researching and attempting to install a recently purchased download version of Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus.

I spent a good deal of time uninstalling (completely) a previous, nag-screened unregistered, copy of Office 2010. I used the Microsoft Cleanup Utility. I ran several programs to clean up after all this, including Crap Cleaner.

Each time I go to install Office, I enter the key (#), and get the prompt saying that there is ERROR 1402. Setup cannot open the registry key.

I have done at least a dozen things to resolve this issue, including doing a diagnostic boot, with only essential services and processes running; disabled the firewall and virus protection; read of various other remedies, none of which has worked.

I have gone to regedit several time trying to change permissions of certain registry files. Some seem to change okay. Others will change, then when I click okay, the permissions resort back to what they were prior. Other things, like clicking certain boxes about inheritance, won't stick ticked. I find the whole permissions thing a nightmare.

My head is spinning. Is there a tried-and-true remedy for fixing this issue?

Another question: Does Microsoft provide free installation support for its Office products?

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am getting an encryption error after installing Office 2010 Home and Student on a windows 7 64 bit OS. I can't use hardly anything after installing because the same error pops up for everything(itune, ie, norton internet security, cyberlink power dvd, and all of the office functions). Instead of opening what I want to open, i get a word document window without the word document with a window in front of it saying that the incription type can't be read. Then gives me incryption options. When I uninstall Offices 2010 home and student everything goes back to normal except I do not now have any of the programs of office on my computer (that last part makes sense but the rest is confusing to me). PLEASE HELP- I need advice on what to do

Hi, If you have photoshop still installed on windows 7,you can put the set up folder on that onto a memory stick and then drag it onto your windows 8 desktop, its an alternative, it may not work but it worked for mine. You will need your photoshop key of course. I'm not sure about your office problem but perhaps there's a similar option with that if the other works.

I am getting "Microsoft Office Professional 2010 cannot verify the license for this product. You should repair the Office program by using Control Panel." error this morning after booting up the system.

There was a MSFT update that ran last night, and I'm suspicious of it being the trigger of the error.

I have tried the "repair" option for MSO 2010, and have also re-entered the "key", to no avail.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any other ideas?

Hi there, welcome to the board!

Have you tried uninstalling the update? Do so from the Control Panel. There's a button which will toggle showing updates. I'm not aware of any updates which will do this though. I'd start there, maybe trying to open in safe mode, but that seems like a stretch.
