Preferred Solution: HTTP://Dumps-Genuis.ru/ Sell Dumps Fresh Pin ( US CHINA AU UK CA EU ) VERIFIED

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hey guys. For some reason I am getting more BSODs. Only two.

In the second BSOD I noticed something wrong with the file "win32k.sys" or something. Something about an access violation. Not too sure. Can you guys help me figure out what's causing this?

Thanks

EDIT: I'd just like to add one thing. I did a Memory Diagnostics Test aswell, and it showed nothing wrong at all, even on my motherboards memory testing feature it showed nothing.

Answer:BSOD (2 dumps) Fresh Copy of Windows...

Hi, HiddenC; sorry to see that you are posting again in this section. Uninstall Norton/Symantec completely using the removal tool: Tool. One of your dumps directly blames Norton. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials and make sure Windows Firewall is turned. I advise you not to reinstall Norton. Many times when you see win32k.sys blamed for a crash, the crash has been caused by a third party firewall/anitvirus program.

As in title.

I've just built a new system with spec:

Phenom II 3.4Ghz (x4)
8Gb Patriot DDR3-1333Mhz
Gigabyte Motherboard
MSI graphics-1Ghz GPU
Seagate 500Gb Sata HD
DVD-RW Sata

On loading Vista x64bit (fresh install) to the point where it is preparing to load up for the first time I'm suffering from a recurring BSOD where there is a 0x0000007E error memory crash dump, and continues to do this on start up.

I've run memtest, all memory is fine.

Any pointers appreciated.

I'm still not very good with debugging, I'm a video editor not a computer scientist, you guys here are the pros.

I've not had any issues with my system in roughly 4 months when I had a stick of ram go bad on me and start giving me all sorts of problems. I am not sure if this is hardware or software, I've not added any new devices to the system since removing that ram.

I'm hoping its a driver issue, but I am thinking its probably ram, because my bsod's say memory-management.
I've not opened it and run memtest on each stick individually yet but if these dumps return nothing I will.

thanks!

Hi Casey and welcome

These were caused by memory management probably from an unknown driver. Please run memtest and driver verifier.
Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program.

Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

Driver verifier

Question: Memory dumps

Hi guys, I have attached several minidumps which I need someone to help me.

The machine is Mecer Xpression laptop, model W76T. Running Win 7 Ultimate.

Thanks

Answer:Memory dumps

Your issue is with memory corruption. Therefore you?ll need to run Memtest on your RAM.

1. Go to www.memtest.org and download the latest ISO version which is 4.20. It is free and perfectly safe.

2. Burn ISO to a CD.

3. Place CD in your drive and reboot with CD in drive. (You might have to place your drive as first bootable in your BIOS) The test will take over.

There is a Tutorial: How to use Memtest in our Guides and Tutorials forum; follow the instructions. There is a newer version than what is listed; use the newer. If you need to see what the Memtest screen looks like go to reply #21. The third screen is the Memtest screen.

Step1 - Let it run for a LONG time. The rule is a minimum of 7 Passes (not hours; this test is not measured by hours); the more Passes after 7 so much the better. The only exception is if you start getting errors before 7 Passes then you can skip to Step 2.

There are 8 individual tests per Pass. Many people will start this test before going to bed and check it the next day.

If you have errors you have corrupted memory and it needs to be replaced.

Step 2 ? Because of errors you need to run this test per stick of RAM. Take out one and run the test. Then take that one out and put the other in and run the test. If you start getting errors before 7 Passes you know that stick is corrupted and you don?t need to run the test any further on that stick.

Question: Crash dumps

Here's the specs on this computer:

Windows XP Pro
ASUS P5NE-SLI mobo LGA775
Intel Core2Duo Allendale E4500 2.2Ghz
ASUS EN6200LE video card
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB
Syba CL-U2CR-FD102
Gigabyte GN-WP01GS Wireless
Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus RS-460-PMSR-A3 460W
Kingston 2 1G DDR2
External WD Passport 250GB - USB

This machine is about 5 months old and has been crashing occassionally the last two weeks after the machine is up and running awhile. I checked the system log and there is nothing leading up to the crash but I do get a crash dump for each one. There is nothing I can pin down as coinciding with the crashes. The vents and fan on side were blocked by a bookcase so I pulled it out in the open. Checked the CPU temp last at 37 deg c. Ran "Memory Diagnostic 1" (from download.com) 4 passes of all the tests were clean - this took about 15 minutes. Ran chkdsk on the Seagate - no bad sectors. I can't tell with chkdsk whether it notifies you when it finds problems. All appeared good there. Did the "auto fix file system errors" but not the search for bad sectors on the external WD Passport. I think I need to analyze the crash dumps but don't know where to start. I hear there's a MS debugger or some such? Haven't looked on MS site yet. Is that where it is?

I'm thinking mobo, cpu, memory, psu as possible culprits. Can I rule out the video card? and the hard drives?

Seems like next step is to analyze the crash dumps..

Hello,

I have a W7 computer that periodically produces WER dumps in a batch (say 3 - 6 dumps) all at the same time, but each "batch" of dumps will be for different applications (i.e. there is no obvious pattern).

I have inspected some of these dumps with Windbg and while I am a novice at analysing dumps, the errors for each dump appear to be different (e.g. different exceptions etc.); there is no common pattern that I can see.

The WER dumps are being produced with the default configuration, I have not for instance configured Full User-Mode dumps.

The questions that I have:

- If I were to configure Full User-Mode dumps, would this result in a BSOD?
- Is it likely that a Full User-Mode dump could provide more useful diagnostic info, or is a kernel dump far more likely to be of use?

Thank you.

Answer:Questions about WER dumps

I would definitely consider doing a full mode diagnostic; as doing that i would think would give more insight as to what is going on. You also might want to check the event viewer for error messages and see what they say if they do in fact show anything.

But now I'm stuck. I can't run my computer in normal mode for more than twenty minutes without something causing a memory dump. It either happens as I'm trying to log in or a few minutes after the desktop loads. I have read the sticky on how to debug memory dumps and have downloaded Micosoft Debugging Tools. However, I am using my computer in safe mode and can't install the degugging tool this way. I can try logging in normally long enough to install the program if needed, but wanted to make sure theres not another way or something I should do first.

Oh and the memory dump error message had this at the end:

Technical Information:

XP-Home OEM v5.1.2600 SP3 32bit AMD Athlon 64

Hi,

I am unable to make any crash dumps, currently i am trying to decipher a problem with a driver i use for boot logging, but when the BSOD occurs no crash dump is written at all.

the configuration is set to default:

Write an event to the system log: True
Send an administrative alert: True
Automatically restart: True
Write debugging information:
Small memory dump.
Location: %SystemRoot%\Minidump
Overwrite any existing file: True

the minidump directory exists in my systemroot.

does anyone have an explanation? can anyone point me to the correct registry key? i can export it then copy and paste here for analysis.

Cheers (:

Answer:Crash Dumps.

You should turn OFF automatic restart just on general principle.

So you have a page file on your boot drive? Some people run without one.

I have had an unwelcome niggle affect my PC for the last 3 months, BSOD
It usually strikes about 5 mins after startup & maybe randomly after that, more likely during gaming than surfing etc.

I was wondering if anybody would be able to help & take a look at the DMP files. I have Corsair XMS2 DDR2 1066Mhz RAM installed but have never been able to run it above 800Mhz & if that wasn't annoying enough now I get BSOD's everytime I start up :mad

Question: Memory dumps

Hi Guys

need your help

I have just installed win 2k sever evaluation version on a fresh disk and am recently prone to memory dumps (i have had three in the last 24 hours that i know of) could this be due to a virus as i opened an email which had blank contents from someone i knew who claims she had not sent anything (i also saw a 'saved to disk' msg flash across my screen and then dissapear)

if not why is this happening and what can i do about it

thanks

Answer:Memory dumps

It sounds very much like a virus or worm. Wipe clean and reinstall, install a good anti-virus program and check the method of receiving email. If you use outlook, you need to set the virus checker to check email prior to delivery and uncheck the reassemble partial messages automatically feature.

My issues have been ongoing for over a year, so I will give you the cliffs notes
I fresh installed W7 x64 Retail after formatting C: in January.
My computer had a Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 mobo. It ran stable for a little while then started BSOD. Memtest showed a bad DIMM. Crucial replaced all RAM.
Ran stable for a few weeks then BSOD's showed back up.
Memtest ran success.
I replaced the MOBO with an ASUS P5Q on Sept 13th.
Formatted C: and fresh install of W7 x64.
Ran fine for 7 days then started BSODs again.

I am at a loss, it could be other hardware I guess, hopefully your debugging research will help me pinpoint what to do next. It looks like I already replaced a good MOBO and wasted $120 and can't afford to shotgun approach replacing hardware or build a new machine.

The BSODs are random and different event ids. For what it might be worth.. Most of the BSODs happen in the middle of the night around 2:30am-3am.. weird.

I built this computer 3 years ago, however, have replaced a few components.
The HDDs are only about a year old.
The memory was replaced by Crucial in Jan of this year.
The mobo last week.

Thank you for any assistance and direction you can provide.

Snypar

Answer:W7 x64 BSOD Dumps.. Plz Help

IME, the Asus P5 series of boards may have some issues with Memory management and Win7 that may cause BSOD's. I'd suggest visiting both the Asus and the Crucial website for the correct timings/settings/voltages - and then set these timings/settings/voltages manually in the BIOS (in other words, DON'T use the "Auto" setting for memory).

4 memory dumps all from the same day.
3 different BSOD errors cited
4 different causes blamed
Probably a hardware/compatibility error, but too soon to tell for sure.

Although I have no concrete reason to suspect your Norton, please try this to rule it out:

Memory dumps are the files Windows creates when your computer crashes. They're not needed, but they can help pinpoint the problem. You can safely delete them.

I should note that I don't actually get a blue screen, but a blank black screen with loud fans when it restarts. I don't think it is an overheat issue because I have pretty normal temps. I'm also running everything at stock speeds.

Answer:Need help reading dumps

Those are all 0x00000124 errors which are general hardware errors and not easy to sort out as it is the CPU that is having a physical problem talking to the rest of the hardware and it cannot say which bit..
Here is a suggested method http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/35349-stop-0x124-what-means-what-try.html
Reading other posts on other forums, it seems most likely, if all of the above suggestion fail to solve it, that the Motherboard is faulty

Question: Memory Dumps

Please tell me about memory dumps. Had one today that disabled Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) KIS indicated it was a memory dump. Does that sound legit ? I was using Chrome when event occurred.

What is and causes a memory dump ? Thanks !

(Win 7, 32bit, 3GB RAM)

Answer:Memory Dumps

Memory dumps are when a program experiences a fatal error or bug, it saves a log of what it was doing at the time so you can debug it and find the problem. I'm afraid i have never used Kaspersky so if this is a regular problem I wont be able to help.
I would suggest swapping out that nasty retail antivirus for a free trusted alternative such as Avast :P I personally dont trust retailer antivirus after a sales job I had made me push Norton :P

Event 1001 BugCheck - The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x0000000000000003, 0xffffe00000301670, 0xfffff8008543daa0, 0xffffe0000a2bb810). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 091613-24171-01.

I enclose the files generated by the 7 diagnostic tool. Perhaps someone could help me to find what is wrong. Thanks.

EDIT:

I'm uploaded full MEMORY.dmp to http://sdrv.ms/199upyA

I've never tried to analyse a MEMORY.dmp file but using the 8.1 Preview SDK (I could not find RTM SDK) and following various guides on the web I can see the following information below. Does it mean that VirtualBox is not compatible with 8.1 or am I looking at this wrong? I tried disabling the VBox adapter but the error still happens. Any idea what else I can try?

Ok not sure what to trouble shoot here

my video keeps dumping out... let me explain every 5-10 minutes my video first freezes then it dumps out and comes right back...... I have no other video card to test... however i did watch system resources for ahwile and any time the machine peaks over 22% is when it dumps.... and it is only the video card. If i am typing and it freezes when it comes back it never missed a beat.
video card is a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 128mb AGP

runnin on a asus board with a P4 3.2ghz 800fsb
also running corsair 1gb 333mhz ddr
I have checked for over heating on the video card the card is clean and the heat sink seems to be in good shape and the fan kicks on when powered up. The intire case is a Vader Power Cool Pro Has to top fill fans and two back exhaust fanse for air flow through the case according to the temp control panel it is staying right around 73 degrees inside the case...

Everything is farely new except the card it has about 2 years on it now I beleive. Maybe it is time for a change just wanted to get some input first. I am thinking of going to a Radeon 256mb 9250 I hear the catalyst drivers for those are pretty good. just do not want to spend the money if that is not my problem

Can you tell how hot the vid card gets before it dumps?

I have been feeling lately that my PC's, which I have tryed so hard to keep upgraded/updated and powerful enough to play all those great games, are not good enough. Now, after recently running 3DMark 06 I feel even worse. I thought that I would score higher then I did. Maybe I can feel better by running 3DMark 05.

Another thing is, I thought that my Notebook PC (with the specs I chose) would be kind of close to my desktop (before the upgrade to 3GB of RAM), in what it can run but my Notebook falls behind more then I would like.

What I would like to get from this thread, I am trying to find out if my PC's are as good as they get, actaully good for what they are or if there is something somewhere that I can do to boost my PC's, along those lines. Thanks in advance.

Answer:In The Dumps, Where Do My PC'S Stand??

I often wonder if that is the main purpose of the 3DMark programs is to get us all insecure about our systems and spend more money

Your desktop is a very nice system I'd say. No need to rush into an upgrade there at all, and I am sure that gaming on that computer is a great experience.

Your notebook's graphics card is a lower end card as far as gaming goes, so don't be so surprised about your score. For a notebook, it is a good one!

Microsoft

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella

Microsoft is warning customers that the end is soon coming for free Windows 7 support. Microsoft will end free mainstream support for Windows 7 on January 13, 2015.

This covers all versions of Windows 7, Mary Jo Foley points out .

The end of support generally means no more updated features or performance improvements, unless you are covered by extra "extended support."

UPDATED: Microsoft has promised to provide security patches even after it ends mainstream support, through 2020. What is ending is design changes, warranty claims and no-charge incident support.

This move will mostly affect consumers. Businesses that pay for extended support for Windows 7, as most of them do, will be get all updates for another five years, until January 14, 2020.

That's important, because many businesses are right now are in the process of upgrading their old Windows XP PCs, but they're moving to Windows 7, not Windows 8.

There's some speculation that, given the popularity of Windows 7, Microsoft might change its mind as the date nears and continue to support it a bit longer, like it did for Windows XP. All told, Microsoft supported XP for about 13 years.

That kind of extension doesn't seem likely at this point. Remember, Windows 8 basically includes a full version of Windows 7, called Desktop mode. With Windows 8.1, it's possible to run a Windows 8 machine in Desktop mode and almost avoid the new-and-confusing W... Read more

Question: download dumps

Hi someone else previously cleaned my pc. I was having all of a sudden screens flash saying memory dumps since then with lots of other stuff.

I don't normally sign into administrator account. When I did all these I did them in the administrator account and downloaded them to the administrator desktop and not the user account I normally use.

I did all the scans and the only thing was MGtools. when I ran that I got this:

I closed it to finish the mgtools.

Hope I did it all right.

Thanks kindly.

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). Question: MEMORY DUMPS

Hi Each time after booting my PC I get the error message saying 'The system has recovered from a serious error' and then creats .DMP error log file in window. There is no problem as such and this message goes away on clicking the 'Close' button. As it happens each time I log on the PC, it is very ennoying and I have to delete built up memory dump files so often. Is there any fault with the physical RAM? Is there any way of getting rid of this message? My OS is WinXPPro.Many Thanks for the help

Answer:MEMORY DUMPS

Have you cleaned the temp files out with something like window washer, as it's sometimes just a conflict with something in the temp folder that causes the error on start-up.

-Memory Management

Answer:Memory Dumps

If you are getting random crashes in many different programs that don't seem to have a common element, the first thing I would look at is your RAM and hard drive for corruption. Download a copy memtest86 and run a full scan on your isntalled memory to check for failure. Then check your hard drive for corruption using a program like Victoria for Windows.

Other hardware causes could be a bad mainboard IO controller for your hard drive or a faulty CPU.

Hi

I've been having memory dump problems for a while sometimes when im using programs sometimes when im just on the net. Once it has dumped and the PC restarts i normally get the same error when windows tries to load up again (normaly at the windows log-in screen) it has done this up to 10 times in a row before:cry . I've tried a few things that people have suggested to fix it like clean install of windows, changing the size of the paging file and swapping the rams cards into new slots i have also tried to debug the dump files but before today the files were not being made. I have now run them through using this post http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35246 and this is what it came up with. I have had a look but can not make much out of it if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be very appriciated

You can't panic at the wall of text. Note the readme, the analyze part may not be needed. Slowly examine all the info till something does make sense.

One of the beginning parts says this:

Probably caused by : vsdatant.sys

Then you plug it into Google.

It is part of Zone Alarm firewall.

I'd consider reinstalling, upgrading, or quite simply uninstalling and switching firewalls.

Welcome!

I suggest a memory test. Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and run at least 5 passes.

I have been getting BSOD's lately and am unsure of what exactly is causing them. Obviously I need to get this issue resolved.

this is the first PC I have built myself, I was thinking it was hardware related as i have already RMA'd RAM because windows only would see 7.99GB usable out of the 12GB I had installed. I am forced to run my 1600MHz RAM at 1468MHz aas anything higher makes my system unable to boot

I have run memtest86+ for 12 hours with no issues, so I had ruled the RAM out...

I hope that someone can help me get the the bottom of my problems. My PC is overclocked from 2.67GHz to 3.67GHz and it was my first overclock so I am not sure if it done 100% correct. It runs prime95 stable for 12 hours (i turn off after that long) with a decent CPU temp so i called it a stable OC, maybe I am wrong.
Anyway here are my dump files. Thanks in advance for the help

Answer:driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (Dumps Attatched)

Does the system have BSOD's if you stop overclocking?
That's the "test" to see if the overclock is to blame. Once the system is stable without an overclock, then you can overclock and any problems can be attributed to the overclock (and this tells you if your overclock is stable or not).

Also, an overclocked system doesn't behave as a non-overclocked system does. So any errors are immediately suspect. Are they the correct errors, or are they a result of a failed/failing overclock?

In this case you have a brand new system. And the number of different BSOD errors indicates either a hardware or a compatibility issue.

Also, please remove or update these older drivers that were loaded at the time of the crash. Don't use Windows Update or the Update drivers function of Device Manager.
Please use the following instructions to locate the most currently available drivers to replace the one's that you uninstall OR remove:

Quote:
How To Find Drivers:
- I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box below. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).

Hi, I'm only new here, but my Windows XP Professional (SP2) laptop has been having numerous blue STOP screens recently. I managed to attach the dump files in a ZIP file below, so if anyone can provide me with further information as to what is causing them, I would very much appreciate it.

The ZIP file attached contains the 4 most recent dumps.

Another problem I have been having with the same computer is that when it starts up (at the Welcome screen) it says "One of the files containing the system's registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. The Recovery was successful." This is just a basic Windows message popup and the MSDN site says not to worry about it - but I want to! Mainly because it is corrupting parts of Windows such as Network Connections in Control Panel - there are no connections listed at all. In the properties for Windows Firewall, on the Advanced tab, it says network settings are corrupt.

Thanks in advanced for anyone who can help

Answer:Memory dumps in Windows XP

That almost sounds like bad sectors on your hard drive. I'll leave the reading of the dump files for someone else, I can read but dont know enough specifically about what Im looking at to understand. First question, have you tried doing a surface scan on your hard drive (scan disk)?

Hey,

Since awhile I fixed most my pc issues, it was stable except that my GPU driver crashed once after booting PC, restored itself and that was it. I could live with that.

Now since a week or two my pc will always reboot after boot. Not instantly, but after 10 minutes of Firefox, game, or anything really. It will just reboot. There is no blue screen. There is no crash dumps. There is no log entry. Yesterday after this happened, my mouse and keyboard were not working and I had to reboot myself. That happened only once.

Now again it happened but differently. It didn't reboot completely. I could hear a connect/disconnect device sound, and the screen came back on, almost like a GPU driver crash. But then my screen went black for a moment and all apps that were running got restarted. It was like a reboot, but without seeing any of the boot screens of Windows.

Thanks for any input. I was planning on doing a memtest at any rate but would love your thoughts.

Answer:Once a day PC reboot, no dumps or log. also odd crash just now

I have newest drivers for chipset, GPU, etc.

Since this crash just now was different from the ones I'm getting everyday, I took a look. In the Logs: DWM.exe stopped working (this never happened before) and an Warning that my GPU stopped responding, and under Hardware tab my GPU has a ! and it says it is disabled because errors have occurred. It is however working just fine at the moment. I do not know if this is related to the reboots I have every day as I've never had any log entries before. I have a long history of GPU related problems and I'm just happy if it works most the time. Now I'm mostly interested in fixing the reboots without any log entries.

Hello! I'm new to the forums, this is actually my first topic!

Well, I'm actually getting a lot of Blue Screens of Death, and I'm pretty worried if that's a hardware problem. I have googled a few problem's (like kmode, IRQL and stuff like that) and they show up as memory or driver errors. I have they twice a day or more, it depends on how much time I use the computer. It's getting annoying. I have recently done an update on my PC, I bought a GTX 760, a new 600W psu and a new 1tb hard drive.

I never get the same error, every time is a different one, but I found this website osronline.com where I can read my dump files and check the error. Every time it shows up WIN8_DRIVER FAULT and a different process running (for exemple steam.exe, utorrent.exe, chrome.exe and svchost.exe). I'm worried because I don't know what I should do.

I have already updated all drivers through iObit's Driver Booster and the problem remains.

I'll post logs when you guys ask and tell me how to do that, as I'm not that experienced with dumps and stuff like that.

If you wonder which are my PC specs, I have a GA-78LMT Motherboard, FX-4100 processor, GTX 760, 8GB of ram and 600W psu from EVGA. (yeah, I know my CPU bottlenecks my GPU, but there's nothing I can do right now, maybe next month I will upgrade my CPU)

Thanks in advance,
Gus.

Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron 3847 Intel i5-4460 8GB RAM, 64-bit. It began having issues shortly after upgrading to Windows 10 from 8.1. In addition to the attached dump files, using the internet seems to get progressively slower with each successive click of a link. I should add the computer's owner insists on using Internet Explorer (even as opposed to Edge in Windows 10) and refuses to use any other browser. I haven't been able to reproduce the browser slowness issue in IE or any other browser, but they insist it is happening. The dumps have occurred at random times seemingly unrelated to what is being done at the time. Once it was while surfing the web, another was almost immediately after startup/logon. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

After doing these, I rebooted into windows and logged in. However, shortly after logging in I received an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD, I then rebooted into safe mode and once again got the BSOD. I then decided to remove one of my two RAM sticks but I still got the error, same thing happened when I tried using only the second RAM stick.

I then decided to boot into repair mode and ran the hardware test which gave me no errors. A few minutes ago I logged in again and this time I received a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD. I tried safe mode again and this time, it is working fine so I am now able to acces the dmp files.

Most of the BSOD's seem to have been triggered by ntoskrnl.exe but there are also some other erroneous files.

Since I can't install WINDEBUG at this PC, nor know how to properly use it; I have attached my dump files to be analysed.

Thanks in advance,

Answer:BSOD (dumps attached)

Worked for a while in normal windows but now it gives me a "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" BSOD.

Hi there!

Lately I have had crash dumps pretty regularly - almost daily. Tonight after two dumps, I ran WhoCrashed:

Conclusion
2 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. A third party driver has been identified to be causing system crashes on your computer. It is strongly suggested that you check for updates for these drivers on their company websites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates for these drivers:

ntkrpamp.exe

I have tried several things, but nothing has truly fixed my issue.
I have followed the instructions to get help from your group of experts.

Here's my info:
Vista Home Premium, SP2 (original installation)
32 bit
Built in 2006
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64x2 dual core processor 5600+ 2.80Ghz
NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
HP m8100n
(can't get the power info until I have help moving my desk)

Thank you for any help you can offer!

Paula

Answer:2 Crash Dumps - ntkrpamp.exe

Hello,

Take a look at the link below and enable verifier. Follow the steps to setup verifier

If the system crashes with verifier running please attach the new dump files.

Found similar posts, but none of the solutions worked for me.

The PC crashes, typically when there is heavy load, and the sound sort of repeats itself until the BSOD and CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT appears.

I run a desktop with Intel CPU and Windows 8. Dump is attached.

Thanks for any help.

Your BIOS dates from 2011. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

We've seen a number of BSOD issues with SSD's. Here's the information that I've compiled so far:

There's not a whole bunch available to test SSD's. The "easiest" test is to remove the SSD, install a platter-based hard drive, install Windows and test for stability that way.

Here's some suggestions:
- Update the SSD's firmware to the latest available version (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)
- Update the motherboard controllers drivers to the latest available version from the controller manufacturer (NOT the mobo manufacturer unless you can't find any on the controller manufacturer's website). Be sure to update ALL controllers on the motherboard! I STRONGLY suggest not using controller drivers older than mid-2012 with SSD's.
- Slow the memory (RAM) down to the next slower speed (I've only seen one person who claimed that this worked for them).
- Use any manufacturer's utilities that you may have. If you don't have any, then try this free one (I haven't used it myself): Crystal Dew World
....NOTE: Recently (Nov 2011) we had BSOD issues with the Marvell 91xx controller and an SSD. You may have to switch co... Read more

Hello all, I recently purchased and built a new computer for myself. It runs great however I'm plagued with random freezes. The freezes usually happen browsing youtube or tabbing back into World of Warcraft. The youtube freezes seem to go away in safe mode with networking. It also hangs when running the MSE on Tuning Windows Media Decoding, though I have successfully ran it before.

Out of dozens of freezes I have only been able to get 2 dump files. I hope they are related and you guys could help and end my troubles.

My specs are:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
ASUS P6X58D-E motherboard
Intel i7 930 processor
EVGA GeForce GTX 470 video card
GSkill F3-10666CL7T-6GBPK RAM
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX
KINGWIN Lazer LZ-750 750W power supply
Antec 902 case

and what I've done:
Replaced the Motherboard
Ran Memtest for 4 hours, no errors
Ran prime95 3 tests no errors
Ran Western Digital diagnostic, full scan passed
Ran FurMark for 10 minutes video card topped out at 90c around the 8 minute mark no errors.
Tried 2 different video card drivers using DriverSweeper to change between them in safe mode
Verified DirectX was updated to the most recent version.
Used DriverVerifier but only issue was with mouse driver

Thanks in advance!

Answer:Lost of freezes only 2 dumps

Welcome!

I ran the 3 dump files. The one Verifier enabled dump blames Lachesis.sys as the cause, which is your Razer mouse drivers. They are relatively old:
Code:
Lachesis.sys Fri Oct 16 09:09:12 2009
Try updating them, or using a different set if you can't find an update.

The 2 non-verifier enabled dumps point to a video card error, bugcheck 0x116. See this article: STOP 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR troubleshooting

Your nVidia drivers are dated April 2010, one version behind.
Code:
nvlddmkm.sys Wed Apr 28 19:26:18 2010
I don't know if updating them will help anything, but I recommend installing the July 9, 2010 version from here: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

I have Windows XP, a dual core processor, no spyware or other problems except that my CPU usage as shown in Device Manages is alway at 96% or more idle.

As an example, I am running Adobe Audition 1.5 to edit some wav files that I recorded. It is taking forever for the files to load into AA (1GB file). The CPU usage in the device manages shows the cpu idle at 96% with only 4% dedicated to AA.

Seems to me that a dual core would at least provide up to 30% cpu usage for this program so I would not have to wait 15 minutes for this file to load.

I also have 4GB of ram. Is this something that can be fixed? I have tried adjusting the program to a higher priority but that does absolutly nothing.

Once the file is into memory though, the CPU usage goes to 51% when I do additional tasks in AA itself.

Can someone help with this?

Answer:Can someone analyze me mini dumps, PLZ!!

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

All your minidumps crash at nv4_mini.sys. This is your video card driver. They have a bugcheck of D1.

0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver (one that uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by caused by faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile.

Try uninstalling, and reinstalling your video drivers. Maybe try a different version.

It might be that you have a problem with the video card itself. I.E possibly bad video ram.

Thanks.

I cannot get online with the notebook where the problem is located. Computer dumps itself as soon as I start IE, when it dumps it boots up again .. I can send and receive emails on it. So I did run HiJack This and sent it to myself then put the old computer on line, received the email and then pasted it below, so here is a copy of the Notebook HiJackThis log. The notebook had two trojans yesterday but Avast said it successfully put them in the Chest. Otherwise, I can use the computer to work for a short time then it dumps.

Answer:[SOLVED] Compuiter dumps often

Opera gets online OK no problems, so I think the problem lies within Internet Explorer. Further tests have revealed that the registry is fouled up. I think that happened when removed the two trojans. I will now run FixIt 7 Pro and check the Registry and repair if necessary. I have never had a problem with FixIt 6 removing registry errors so I do not expect one here. Back soon.

Answer:BSOD Help (Uploaded my last dumps)

Hi Maggot,

AVG is known to be a cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems so you need to uninstall it. Download the correct AVG Remover for your system. Download Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Re-boot to Safe Mode. In Safe Mode run the AVG Remover tool. Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE. Make sure your Windows firewall is enabled!

Hello, I've been getting a couple BSODs a week for the last few weeks without any dump files.
I've followed the guide here Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD and am still able to find any dump files on my system.

Answer:BSODs not producing dumps

Follow it: Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Now wait for another BSOD. When it occurred, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. See if the crash dump is recorded or not (hopefully it will be recorded).Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Dont run any disc cleanup program before you upload one more zip.

Hi all,

I'm having big problems at the moment with constant "Blue Screens of Death" and kernel memory dumps about twice a week. This has been going on for a couple of months and altogether I've had to reinstall windows XP (because of loss of important .DDL files) at least 10 times.

My PC still had a warantee so I send it back to the factory but they came back saying there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and the problem is probably software related. Which is strange since I hardly use any software apart from Words, Excel and Firefox.

Sure enough the day I got it back (with a clean install of XP) I once again suffered a memory dump and a crash, with loss of files.

So what exactly is a memory dump and what is the most likely problem here? Someone at work mentioned its probably a faulty motherboard and that I should replace it. I havn't a clue how to go about this. Also, Microstar (manufacturer) won't help me and i'm possibly the least tech-savvy person on the planet (I build acoustic guitars, technology is a mystery to me!)

Answer:What causes kernel memory dumps?

I just noticed I posted this in the wrong forum.. Should've gone to the XP forum, clicked this one in stead ;X

could a friendly mod move it please? thanks

Question: BSOD memory dumps

Almost every time I play Half life 2 (online or solo) I sometmes get a BSOD that says it's performing a physical memory dump and tells me to restart. I wrote down the numbers:

***STOP: 0x0000008E (0xc0000005, 0xE2D63C87, 0XAE783AC0, 0X00000000

I heard something about a microsoft database that might have the answer. I goolgled it but didn't find anything. Anyone know what's what?

XP keeps crashing and dumping (dumps attached). HELP!! (please). Can someone tell me what is wrong on my system from the dumps?

Answer:Need Help understanding XP Mini-Dumps

Please do not make multiple threads. I have deleted your other one.

Some of the dumps are pointing to Symantecs (Norton) Anti-Virus.

I would recommend uninstalling Symantecs completely - using their uninstaller.
Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support

Then, be sure to install an alternative AV to be safe. I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials or Avira.

Some Windows files were also pointed at, but I do not believe they are to blame for any of your BSOD's. To help confirm this, please go Start > Run > Type in sfc /scannow. It may ask for your XP CD - just insert it and hit retry if it does. This will check all of your system files and replace any if needed.

See if that helps the BSOD's.

See attachment for Memory Dumps.

I've received these memory dumps:

0x0000001a
0x100000c5 caused by driver ntoskrnl.exe / address ntoskrnl.exe+6e4f3
0x1000000a
0x10000050
0x1000008e

RAM: I have 1 slot for ram. I have taken it out and put it back in again.
Memtest86: No errors when checked with MemTest.
Machine: IBM Thinkpad
AV: Malwarebytes, AVG, and MS Security Essentials found nothing.

I was receiving BSOD immediately after booting at 1st,
I have since reset it back to factory settings via IBMs 'access ibm' button and feature. Now on reboot I can access the main screen and after a few minutes I then get the BSOD.

I can log on to safe and experience no issues there. This is where I could access and upload the memory dumps from.

Is this fixable? Also I do not have a Windows CD, but still have product key on sticker under laptop. Could I reinstall via I386 or is there any easier fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:Help with: XP Pro - BSOD (memory dumps)

Download the ISO image for Seatools in my signature. Burn the image to CD using IMGBurn also in my signature. Boot off of the newly created CD and run the Short and Long test on the drive. This may solve the problem, but if either test fails, the drive may need to be replaced

At any random (possibly logical) time my windows 7 computer will conduct a physical memory dump. Here are my troubleshooting steps.

1. Cleaned out computer
2. Cleaned Nvidia video card
3. Removed Nvidia drivers
4. Check for IRQ conflicts...None
5. Let the BIOS handle resource assignment
6. Let the OS handle resource assignment
7. Tried Linux, randomly lost usb connectivity!?

Is it possible since my scratched windows 7 cd will complete the install but some files could be corrupted?

Could it be bad memory?

Could it be the video card?

Please provide some suggestions; before I take it out back and put it down.

Answer:Win 7 Randomly Dumps Memory

Could be a lot of things. Often it is software related. Most important when it happens keep track of what you are doing.. gaming.. watching you tube. compiling code.. etc.

Use something like Ultimate boot Disc to run some diagnostics on hardware

on boot, hit f8 on to bring up the windows boot menu. one of the options should say repair. I don't remember the options in there, but when its a software issue it will sometimes corrected it. System restore to a known good working date if you have that enabled.

Make sure you are not doing something silly like putting your pc next to a space heater and it is overheating.

Re-seat ram, graphics cards, cables have a secure connection

Got spare parts? Try swaping out PSU. Most of my "crashes" involve a PSU going bad and a device (video card usually) trying to pull too much power. Same works if you got extension cables to make internal cables longer. try removing them. that is just my common cause could be other things of course.

remove unneeded parts. If you got extra sound cards, DVD drives, etc that are not needed for day to day stuff remove them from the equation, you can put them back later.

You can just get a copy of the win7 os in iso form and put it on a USB drive. You can also attempt to 'rip' your win7 dvd to iso as well. As long as it is the same version as your License key it doesn't matter really. Though i did once have to call MS to activate through their automated system.

There are two mainly dump files, they are about fltmgr.sys and ntoskrnl but with the different bug checking string.

These are the dumps cand RaPM :
Minidumps and RaPM.rar

Alright, strange things I can't figure out. I can play battlefield 2 when I first install my video drivers and the game. I can play for 20 to 30 minutes then my computer restarts with a blank blue screen. After this I can load into the game and play 15 seconds with same result. However, if I uninstall/reinstall my video drivers I can play that 20 to 30 minutes again... I have tried so many drivers 5.1 to 5.6 all with the same results. I thought it was a windows issue so I redid everything. Formatted everything. Same result. ANY help would be greatful. Do you think a bad Sata driver could cause this? I update my Sata drivers. I am going to try installing windows to an old IDE drive and disconnec my SATA and see if I have the same issue. I also checked my system log and see a Save Dump that takes place at reboot. Here is the save dump error code.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000d1 (0x0000002a, 0x00000005, 0x00000000, 0xf777aafb). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini070705-03.dmp.

Any help would be appreciated. Also, this is the ONLY game this takes place, I can play any other new releases with no issues. Counter-Strike source is fine even on 50+ player maps.

Thank you for your time,
Troy

Hi there , hoping someone can help with this
I am trying to use bluescreenview to figure out what is causing my system to crash. The problem is, I cannot record any dump files even though i think i have all the settings correct.
1) in advanced system settings , on hte advanced tab , i have checked the box to write a small memory dump to %SystemRoot%\Minidump
2)I have set my paging file size to allow windows to manage , which is currently 8 GB.
but when i go o C:\windows\minidump there is nothing there after several crashes.
Unfortunately my system seems to be crashing on certain flash media (i think) (youtube - sometimes , random webpages with video - sometimes , my google plus profile - always , media player lite when playing .mkv files - sometimes .....)
i used LAST known good config to restore it and it seemed t be working fine until i had a windows update , and immediately thereafter it started crashing again..... each time i restore it , it is fine for a while but it seems as soon as windows updates i start getting problems again ...
My windows is genuine
I use several anti virus , malware , spyware , progs so it is not a virus/malware etc.
my specs are as follows
ASUS G73JH
intel i7 CPU 720QM : 2.66 GHz
DDR3 1066/1333 MHz 8GB
ATI Mobility? Radeon® HD 5870, 1G GDDR5 VRAM
GEnuine windows 7 64bit sp1

SO i guess i have 2 questions
1) any idea what could be causing hte crashes
2)how do i get the dumps to work so that i can figure out ques 1) !

Answer:please help ... no dumps on bsod ?! argh

Can't help much with the Windows 7 aspect but this:

I use several [SIZE=+1]anti virus[/SIZE] , malware , spyware , progs so it is not a virus/malware etc.Click to expand...

can be a cause of problems. If you have more than one real time anti-virus running you should pick one and uninstall the other(s). Having "several" security applications in place does not completely remove the possibility of a malware infection.

Some one will be along to help you set Windows 7 to create the mini-dumps on a BSOD event.

Just started a few days ago. System booted with blue screen stating Memory Dump....cannot show error code, because of immediate reboot.

Thought cause: bad hard drive, tried new drive still happens. Tried new memory, still happens.

What other choice would I have? Replace mainboard? Don't know if that will even help. The CPU is old but was working just fine.

More, or better information on problem, reinstall of Windows XP Pro SP2, when installing a driver that requires a reboot, comes up with system dump and reboots. Continues this function .... each time OS is reinstalled.

This problem has happened on 2 systems in the same day. Tried installing XP home, Vista, 2000, 2003 Enterprise, and Linux (which it won't even read). So would it be hardware or software?
