Question: Does anyone have a contact email or chat link to HP Support

I took the free update to windows 10 and it did not carry forward the licence for the pre installed Windows Office. This means that I have an option to purchase a replacement licence from Microsoft. I have spent over an hour today with windows support and they say that HP can reset the licence - does anyone know how I can contact HP Support as I cannot use any of the MS Office unless I pay Microsoft.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

Could you pls tell me where to contact HP live chat support to any technical support that could resolve my problem. I'm having drivers issue here in my HP notebook, I tried different ways to install the missing drivers but nothing happen! I have 3 ports total in notebook out of which 2 are dead ports and only one/single port I'm using and it causes so much trouble for me!

Nevermind the details, but Skype people insist that my Skype ID doesn't exist, even though I use it once or twice every week. Now they have changed the website to remove links to email.

And it's not like I've been a freeloader. I have probably spent $100 over the years on Skype doing calls from overseas to landlines.

Any suggestion will be received gratefully, I know that this is an OS forum, but Skype is now owned by an OS company and also there are a lot of sharp techs on this forum.

An email address of mine sent out a malware link in an email to everyone on my contact list on January 5th 2010. This email address is NOT one that I use on any forums EVER as it was created and only used for job searches (yahoo account). Because of this I have my suspicion that the problem started with a computer training place I took classes at in the first 2 weeks of Jan 2009 which has my email (yahoo) on their contact list. I had gotten a similar email from them in December. I opened the email but I did NOT click the link in the email. I reported it as spam and moved on. I did however reply (it just occurred to me how stupid this was) as the sender is someone I know and I asked if they are aware they are sending out malware. It never occurred to me that their account might be hijacked. Not until yesterday when my account just sent out an email to everyone on my contact list (just like theirs had). The only way I found out that mine did this was because I have my other email (gmail that I use for forums) account on the contact list and it sent to that. The thing is, I opened it in that account (gmail) and saw it was spam from myself. I logged into my other account (the job search one - Yahoo) and changed the password in it. Is that enough?

What i want to know is, is that enough to stop the problem? Is there anything else I can do? How does this happen? Can just replying to someone on my contact list whose account might have been hijacked be enough for them to be able to ... Read more

been looking around the website for an email and havent really found one, all i found was phone numbers and this forum which neither have worked for me to get help with my Lenovo Y650. I posted on here over a week ago about my problem and no one has answered me and called Lenovo UK yesterday and talked to a guy that put me on hold 2 times and kept me on the line for 30 min and all he suggested was to re install over and over, hold the power key while no power is connected to refresh, then turn off my firewall and antivirus, then blamed that it was a software issue while it ran perfectly on my HP laptop.  so now i want to know a third method so i can hopely be satisfied with the laptop i bought. so anyone know an email to any good technical support person?Thank You.

I'm sorry to write this kind of issue here on a public forum, but was forced to and I can see that I'm not alone In a short words ... after a long service repair of my Yoga 710 and a long way of proveing to the seller that the hardware has a defect (fan is blowing straight to the microphone making noise), I've got money refound on 03.04.2017 !Total time that I was without funds and without a laptop lasted from 10.01.2017 to 03.04.2017 (83 days, including Lenovo Service Support - 32 days). I have got only one sorry word from Lenovo nothing more. That's all for my effort to contact them, explain everything, loosing my nerves, all invonvieniences at my bussiness etc. I asked finally what will you do if I want to buy new Lenovo product in the future (maybe small discount for me) but didn't get answer until today...Where should I write an email concerning complaint about Tech Support  ?

I seem to be unable to delete an unwanted contact from the list of offerings in "To:" section when starting an eMail.  (I have tried others with same result.)
"Help" section says I should highlight the unwanted, then click to "X" on right of name.
I do this, Yahoo Mail responds "Succesful Permanent Deletion", but the contact remains and is offered again in next email attempt.
I use Currently Update Firefox.  I have "deleted history" (Cleared Cache).
Guidance please ?

i've spent 45 minutes online with google search and all of the hp support sites, but each one directs me to another page and i end up back where i started. i then called hp support and they claim they have no idea of the address of hp online support.
?? hp g62 340us laptop, windows 7. all i really want is to know how to reset my screen brightness, which has dimmed today. now it's ok on battery, but dims when i connect to ac power. thanks, boyd

We are Dell resellers and had placed an order for 43 Laptops - Dell Latitude 3560 with Dell on 13th June, 2016. We delivered them to our customer on Friday 17th June, 2016. On Monday 20th June we discovered that all the Laptops are faulty and are not functioning properly. They have not been able to use a single system due to touchpad issues in the entire lot
We have made innumerable calls Dell to resolve the problem, but the team is unable to identify and rectify the problem. 
We have spoken to our partner account manager, regional account manager, Service Specialist and Escalation Team, requesting them to provide us with a solution at the earliest as their work is getting hampered. Our customer has to deploy the same by 1st July however they do not have any Dell Laptops functioning correctly.  
How do we escalate this to the Dell management and get a replacement ASAP

I added a contact that appeared under the chat contacts in gmail. Then some public talk profile was generated and also added for the same person. I could delete the chat that I added regularly but not the 73yrfhvyrfgirigu @ public.talk.google.com crap that was generated. I read somewhere I had to search for Circles and things in google plus - Firstly it is not in ANY contacts page that you can go to from the gmail. It is not in any circles either, and yet when you click in the Hangouts in the search bar this contact appears as a suggestion. On other places like circles, find co-workers among the mess that Google+ is you can find other emails you have emailed are suggested and not this particular public.talk contact. And yet for Hangouts this is the only suggestion that comes first and it has no option to remove from chat and I can't find what stores it... Holy crap google

Added the contact to a new circle removes it below the chat but now when you go to Contacts > Circles and see the circle, you cannot remove the circle or the chat. It is in the gmail circle not google+ .. After lots of trouble clicking on People > Circles and finding where to click on the newly created circle to 'Edit Circle' found the delete option, the name within the circle is gone from both the Chat below in gmail and the circle, Idk how.

I need to speak to someone about issues with my laptop and can never get anywhere to find help.  Why is it so hard accessing support?  This is ridiculous.  I log in to my account and provide my snid number and then am directed to another page to login again but it doesnt recognize the login info that I just used.  If it is a different account then where do I register for this service?  There is nothing on the page to answer these questions or help with my confusion.  I need help now.  This problem has been going on since I got my laptop and I have been trying to get support for weeks if not months now but never get anywhere.

I'm unable to get started using Messaging. I don't recall if when I set up Messaging it gave me the option of linking contacts to Messaging, or to do this when I set up the computer but if so perhaps I did it incorrectly. When I open Messaging it says I am connected to Messenger. When I click on 'add an account' it lists Facebook but gives no other options. At the moment I only want to chat with one of my email contacts; I have a Hotmail account. I have tried the 'invite' option but it keeps saying 'this page is temporarily unavailable'. I'm sure this is supposed to be simple but I don't get it; would be grateful for your help. Thank you.

I was using MSN messenger today when I received a message from one of my contacts, telling me to go to this one website that supposedly had a flashcam thing (I forget the url of the site). Well, I clicked it, and ever since then I'm infected with a virus of some sort. The virus is one that spreads through MSN contacts and causes pop-ups to randomly pop-up, and generally slows down the computer. It was eating up my memory to the point where I couldn't even remove the malicious files with Spybot - Search and Destroy. I soon figured out it was the Vundo (Virtumonde) virus. After many failed attempts of removing the virus with Ad-Aware, Spybot, SuperAnti Spyware and VundoFix, I finally used the Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner and that seemed to get rid of the Vundo files in my System32 folder. However, I'm still getting popups and with no programs running at all, my computer usage is at 30-45%.

I just bought a brand new notebook envy 15T as100 cto. The notebook is not working well out of the box. The screen flashes and it is garbled. I used the chat service three times, the first two technicians were polite but they could not help my problem ( they checked BIOS, updated win10 and display drivers, flash drivers, etc.). I tried the chat service again today, the third technician from today referred me to Smart Friend for a nominal fee. After I asked her/him the question why I should pay for it when the out of box brand new notebook is not working and after I asked for the name of her/his supervisor, the online chat technician cut me off and disabled me from using chat service again. The name of the technician isatyaprakash Das. case number 3035390576 Thanks.

I would like to use the TalkTalk live chat service but seem unable locate the link.Have used this service quite a few times and never had any trouble.Does anyone know where I find the link.

TalkTalk are going through a series of changes, and like you, I often found that their chatline was very easy to find and use, even though it did not always provide the answer of the question being asked. On some occasions there would be a pop-up for this service, while browsing their website.

Hello everybody, few day ago I posted a new topic "Think Pad W530 Color Calibrator software is NOT working under Win 10" and did not receive any reply. There's a serious UI scaling isssue in the HP Support chat window. It's absolutely tiny on hi-res displays like on the new Spectre, almost unreadable in fact. Simple fix that shouldn't be a problem in the first place, considering it's HP's software.

I've searched and also read about the new support site - and visited it.  Unfortunately, I just can't seem to figure out how to contact Lenovo support about a possible issue with my X220.  I have the i7 model with USB 3.0 and the USB 3.0 port is only working intermittently.  I contacted Western Digital through their support site, exchanged a few emails, and they suggest it might be a compatibility issue.  I've googled and tried lots of things, but would like to get some feedback from Lenovo.  (So far no luck by posting about the issue here or other notebook sites - understandable, since it may not be a common issue). I really don't want to call ... just want to send in a "ticket" and see if I can get some help or perhaps escalate the issue through the support group. Thanks!

I think the best way to contact them is through their telephone support. Talking live with someone one-on-one is convenient and quicker than sending online request. I never noticed this app before until today. An app listed in start menu called 'Contact Support'. So I clicked it just to take a look. But the app just starts to open and then immediately crashes/shuts off. I logged into another user acc on my machine and it opens just fine.

Usually if an app is playing up on my computer I go into the settings - apps list and reset the app which normally sorts things out. But contact support is missing from the list. Does anyone use the app and have any problems with it?

I noticed the app in my start menu but never tried it. It opened just fine in all my user accounts. Have you run a System File Checker scan just to verify your 10 doesn't have any damaged or corrupt system files? (Right click start menu > command prompt (admin) > type in sfc /scannow > click enter.) And I don't see it in settings > apps either.

Not trying to be funny about this, but if the scan comes back "no integrity violations found" I think I'd use the Contact Support app from the working user acct to find out why it works in one acct and not another. Seems ironic - having to contact support to find out why support isn't working.

for quite some time now, I'm trying to figure out how to contact Dell about a question I have about their products. Now I found this:

However, the form doesn't submit, when I click "next", I always stay at step #1 (both with Chrome and IE11).

Hey,
I tried microsoft support chat for microsoft band today, and microsoft employee started asking about all the sensitive data (email address, phone number, my age). I was chatting about warranty of microsoft band and he stated he needs that info to send it over to care team.

Hi there,Hope someone can help with this situation.I got malware from the hp tech support chat when I clicked allow activex.It hijacked my desktop, my avg and disabled all my services.I was able to use Malwarebytes to get rid of most of it but I am still having some issues.When I use Google or Bing my results come up right but when I click on a link it is redirected.Also for some reason my AVG won't let me open my Family Tree Maker as it says there is a Trojan vundo.jd attached to it.I have a Hijackthis log. I am running Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3. I've tried cmd diskpart --->list disk--->select disk 2--->clean / attributes disk clear readonly, these write unprotect ways also don't work. I also unable to delete volume of this microsd card. I use a SD formatter software to format this microsd card and it says it's write protected but strange i can copy files to it. If I just delete the data away without formatting it, the data appears again. I really need help, thanks!

I have an HP Pavilion Notebook running windows 10.  I have had the unti for about one week and have several issues that I would like to discuss with HP support using chat function.  However, when Chat is initiated, the dialogue screen on my display is about the size of a postage stamp and the text is unreadable.  The only other instance of this occurence is when I had HP take control of my system and that dialogue box also was too small to be read. I would like to use Chat to address some other nagging issues but I cannot given the microscopic size of the text and Chat dialogue box. All other displays seem normal.   How do I fix this?

Answer:HP support Chat Dialogue Box is too small to be usable.

I used Magnifier to show the window properly.  The tech used Notepad so we could converse when he took control of my PC.

Ok I know it boots directly from Windows 10, but the two people I've spoken to seem incredibly odd to say the least. One asked for a ton of details about me and asked me to install a programme (and I think mildly flirting with me, kept winking ...) Now I'm sure this can be legit and probably is, but the whole thing made me so nervous that I just quit out.
I am sick of waiting for a fix that works for me (Store won't open, neither will apps).

I still have every warranty except POW but i cant seem to contact support. When i go and click contact technical support it states:

Notebook ceased to function a week ago. Beep code (3 flashes) indicates memory. Cannot power off, have to remove battery, as startup goes into cycle of three attempts then a click and sound of HDD winding down then attempts start again.  Faulty power button? Safe mode start does not work. Been online to submit support request and form says netbook is out of warranty - but I have a care pack valid to 24.10.16  Have submitted this as a dispute twice with message saying I will be contacted within 1 working day So far no contact - not even email of confirmation. No email or phone number available to follow this up. Support site is appalling example of how to frustrate customers.

What is Lenovo support made of, exactly? My company has bought a Thinkpad T430 from them at a good price, and there is warranty on the device for another 6 months or so. There is a software quality issue with the touchpad driver that really kills it for me, and I would like to first bring this to Lenovos attention and at least get some sort of acknowledgement from their representative to the fact that the issue exists, and also to get their response and help with it. I hit the Support link, and there is nothing there like a chat or support request links. I tried Contact Us, and at the following page, where one of the items for some strange reason is in Italian, and another is in Norwegian, even though I have explicitly configured English as language, and everything else is in English as well. ?Does Lenovo actually have any support? I mean as in real support, not automated knowledge base, where I could not find the issue mentioned above, after looking through a list of more than one hundred entries. How do I initiate some sort of support related conversation with some Lenovo people? Is it not completely appalling how you buy advertised laptop worth hundreds of dollars, that includes tens of distinct hardware components and also tens of software components (if not hundreds) and there is no *actual* support for the item?

Hi, I have few issues with my Lenovo Yoga X1 and I want to contact support directly by opening support ticket describing my problems. Does Lenovo have support at all or we are left with these forums only?I have many issues like:- Integrated SIM data access card is very often not working and sometimes I need to wait for it for 20-30 minutes to "start up" until I can use my mobile internet- When I first bought my laptop I had an option for automatic keyboard backlight (laptop detects environment and sets it accordingly). That option is gone now and I cannot enable it anywhere.- Sometimes my fingerprint sensor data somehow gets reset and I have to do it all over again (set it up, etc.). As if BIOS is reset to factory settings on it's own- When I connect to my laptop using RDP  Wacom ISD Service starts killing my CPU and only way to get rid of it is to stop the service (which affects digitizer then)- Battery lasts around 5 hours at best even on power saving mode- Intel bluetooth driver cannot install. I tried more than once and it fails each time (using Lenovo companion).  I have all the latest drivers and BIOS firmware installed. Also all the Windows updates are installed.

When I click on a link in an email Firefox open but it does not open the webpage. Answer:Clicking on a link in an email opens browser but does not connect to the link.

sounds to be an outlook issue, with it not transferring information correctly. Try reinstalling it and hopefully that should fix it.

I've tried searching everywhere, & I cannot find a solution to this problem.  I have a contact who shows up in my Chat list on the left of my Gmail, who I would like to remove.  He has two e-mail addresses, one gmail, the other is @una.edu (his college address).  I've tried deleting him entirely, but the latter address still shows up in my Gmail Chat list, to my frustration.  He never uses that address anymore, so I desperately want to unclutter the list by taking it off.  There is no option to block, remove, or set it to "never show", so I'm coming here for help.  Hope you all can help me out!

The support chat window on QHD laptop screens is so TINY that its impossible to see what the tech is saying.  This has been a problem for at least a year, and there have been numerous complaints about this issue... yet the problem remains unresolved.  How is this possible??  As someone who spent 1500 for a QHD laptop, overlooked details like these are unacceptable and make me REGRET BUYING AN HP LAPTOP.   Please prioritize this simple fix so that current HP laptop owners (like me) would actually recommend your product to others.  When it comes to high-tech gear, its all about the details, and this is one glaring detail that would prevent me from recommending your laptops to others. Please fix.  Now!

When I purchased Surface Pro 3 about 4 years ago, Windows 8 was installed. I was able to see my saved files on One Drive cloud between devices. Then I updated to Windows 10 and lost the connection between One Drive cloud and Surface installed One Drive. Talked to Windows 10 Tech. Said it was not the install issue. Said it was Surface issue. I could not get help.
I still have 50 g of storage on the Surface One Drive. The on-line One Drive cloud only has 5.
I went into my Microsoft account and I was able to sign in to access the One Drive cloud through the sign in account. Because I am not signed into One Drive on Surface Pro 3, I was told to sign in. When I try to sign into One Drive through Surface, they tell me I cannot use the same password and need to set up another Microsoft account. I am very frustrated and which I never installed Windows 10 or purchased Surface Pro 3. Can anyone help me?

I got several advices, none of them was working. I somehow partially resolved the problem and the camera sometimes works and sometimes not (I do not know how to control this). There is a contact phone number for my country but does not work. SO, I AM ASKING YOU WHO TO CONTACT ON A LENOVO SIDE FOR A TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Otherwise, I am satisfied with my new Lenovo computer, but this camera issue really sucks...And even worse, I think Lenovo technical support service is really poor or even there is not one??? I have Norton 360 installed on my computer
It says that my computer isnot secure because it needs to do a LiveUpdate, however when I try to do a live update it says that its already running in another process.
I have opened up my task manager and tried to shut eerything else down. I have restarted my computer and also uninstalled and reinstalled the product.
When I try to contact the technical support all windows close.
I dont know what else to do.

I hope this makes sense...

I have a Dell laptop that I bought a couple of months ago. From the beginning, when the mouse arrow comes in contact with a link, it automatically opens that link. This affects me when I'm scrolling through a bunch of links or a forum because it is constantly opening more tabs. I would like to change it to "normal" when a left click is required to open a link.

Any ideas??

So I have just been chatting with a Microsoft live chat person named Hoody.
Great support, my surface pro 2 would not go into sleep mode or automatically turn off display. After him / her walking me through all the settings (which I had already done) he then told me about the two finger reboot which I did not know about. Hold down the volume down button and the power button until you see the logo appear, then switch on and log in as normal. This fixed the fault.
Whilst discussing with the support person he did inform me that the new firmware is due on January 14th at 2pm EST. I did not ask for this information he just offered it to me.
I am a new Surface Pro 2 user, recently moved away from my loved Playbook thanks to a wonderful present from the wife for Xmas.
So far so good..

Hi there,  I've been trying to log in to my account to retrieve the serial number of my registered Envy 17 laptop, but keep getting 404 messages when I try to retrieve either my username or password.

Hi,I do not know about the 404 messages.However you should be able to get your serial number from computer if available. It is located on label under the battery. Hope it helps,David

Our notebooks were stolen & we are trying to contact HP to see if they have any identifying numbers with the registration. I've spent hours with no luck. Any help to talk to someone at HP?

I just paid a handsome amount of money to buy a new W510.  So far I really like it - and am wondering if Lenovo Support actually exist?  When I dial the nu,ber on the support site I get a voice menu that eventually points me back to the support website, going in circles - where to from here, are Thinkpad owners expected to purely rely on the goodwill of community members to help out with issues?ThanksBennie Naudewww.deepliving.com

Hey everybody My Lenovo solution Center says that i shall contact the support.I hope somebody can help me here with my problem. It's definitly the harddrive. But what is the problem? Hi,
 
Do you have an mSATA or other SSD in your T520 along with the HDD?  Did you get the error during a full machine scan?  If so, try running the scan on the HDD alone w/out running a full scan.

I am having an issue with my headphones and after attempting various solutions on my own, I thought it necessary to contact Lenovo directly for guidance. It was a challenge to get as far as the contact page, but now I find that the contact page will not load properly, i.e., I cannot access any links on the page. Can anyone tell me how to contact Lenovo from Canada?

The hinges on my Envy 17" are breaking and popping open the case.  I have tried to contact support though the normal online methods, but the web page will not accept my machine serial and/or product. I have used autodetect to find this info, it is populated automatically into the contact web page, but then it bounces back. When given the option to manually enter the info (a later page) the boxes where the data is to be put are grayed out, preventing entry.SO...I am posting in public as yet another VERY unhappy camper.Seems this hinge problem has been going on for many years. There has been a class action lawsuit (now closed) and I have a machine that is still under months of warranty that is literally falling apart.What is HP doing to rectify this situation? I can not be without my machine as I use it for my work.
