Problem: Have to restart programs when connecting bluetooth Headphone.

Question: Problem: Have to restart programs when connecting bluetooth Headphone.

I didn't know where to put this, or what kind of problem this is.
I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones and an ASUS bluetooth USB adapter.
When I turn on the Bluetooth headset, I have to manually go into the Sound settings and change the "Default" to the Asus Adapter.
Though ZId love to know if there is a fix to this, it's easy enough to live with. The thing I cant stand though, is when I do switch any default device in the Sound settings, I also have to close all programs that were open when making the switch. Otherwise, the programs (like iTunes and Media Player Classic) will contiue coming out of the computer speakers, or whatever the previous default was. Ive only had the ASUS Bluetooth adapter, and havent been able to try another adapter, but I have used different bluetooth Headsets/Headphones, and they all react the same. The program also exhibited on Windows 7, so I doubt its OS specific.
Is there any way to fix this, because this is absolutely annoying.

Preferred Solution: Problem: Have to restart programs when connecting bluetooth Headphone.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: Problem: Have to restart programs when connecting bluetooth Headphone.

Did you ever find an answer? I just found this post and I'm having the exact issue. And agreed; very annoying.

Edit: Just found this page on reddit. It works! Swich the audio playback in iTunes to Direct Sound rather than Windows Audio.

Hello everyone, I just bought a dell alienware m14x, I love it so far.

I pay the 20$ extra to have the Bluetooth option and I successfully pair my blackberry but when I am trying to pair my Bluetooth jay bird SB2 headphone with my computer, it doesnt work?

the computer find my device, and when I go to device and printer I see it there, but there is not option to ?use? or activate I also check in the sound option where you can choose the output(manage audio devices), but only the computer speakers are there.

I tried to download the driver installer wizard from Broadcom corp but it doesn?t find my headphone?

I am puzzled!!

Anyone had a problem like that?

Had searching the internet for two weeks, but still failing.
The closest solution I found is this: How to connect wireless headphones to PC
The problem is exactly the same as mine, but using the solution given, my wireless headphone still won't pair to my desktop PC.

Here is my devices:
- Wireless headphone: Jabra Move Wireless
- Windows 7 Ultimate, x64
- Bluetooth 2.0 USB Dongle

I don't think the other specification such motherboard, graphic card, etc is needed, so I will not write them here, unless they are needed to find the solution.

What I'm trying to achive:
I want to play music from my desktop PC using my wireless headphone through the USB bluetooth dongle.

Problems:
- Even after my wireless headset is already listed in control panel, it seems that its still not completely paired.

The bluetooth headphone/headset in "Sound" properties is still blank and nothing happened if the "Connect" option (by its popup menu) is clicked.

- In the Wireless headphone menu, I still can't click "Listen to music". Nothing is happened.

Here is my wireless headphone properties:

What should I do to make my wireless headphone completely paired with my desktop PC and fully working?

Any kind of help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Satellite users,

I recently had a problem getting my Toshiba Satellite P50t-B running Windows 10 to detect (and hence connect) to my Sony MDR-XB50BS Bluetooth Headphones. The symptom of the problem was that the "MDR-XB50BS" device didn't appear in the list of available devices on the Windows Activity Centre "Connect" screen, nor in the Windows Settings -> Devices -> Bluetooth and other devices -> Add a device screen. Since the device never appeared, I couldn't connect to it.

The solution to the problem turned out to be upgrading my Toshiba Satellite BIOS from version 1.10 to BIOS version 1:50 available on the Drivers & Updates tab of the Toshiba Satellite Support site. The release notes mention a Bluetooth issue being corrected in version 1.40 and while I can't say for certain that this is the same issue I encountered, updating the BIOS was the last thing that I tried before the problem went away, and it's reasonable to expect that a relatively new technology like Bluetooth might have had early implementation bugs.

The other point to note is that if you've already paired the headphones with another device, like I had with my iPhone, then you have to hold the power button down for 7 seconds at power on in order to enter Bluetooth pairing mode first time you try to connect it to the Satellite.

I hope this helps someone someday!

Cheers,
Graham

I have a motorola v3 and i've had the same phone for awhile, with my last laptop I had no problems connecting to it and sharing files, but there seems to be a problem with this laptop, because the cellphone works fine with another devices but i just cant connect to the laptop. Under bluetooth devices whenever i click on allow this computer to be disvoreableI get an error message saying "an error occurred while Windows was saving your settings. The Bluetooth device might be unplugged. The following settings were not saved: Discoverability settings / Connection settings." I don't really know what to do, i went online looking for answers but there isn't really any.

You may want to keep in mind the Wi-Fi can have an effect on Bluetooth.  We also need some basic info about your system.  If yo use the rich formatting for a reply you can attach snipping tool pictures.
In Device Manager you should show your Bluetooth device plus a couple of Microsoft entries.  If your headsets/speakers also show that is good.  No Unknown devices anywhere in Device Manager or yellow triangles on any Bluetooth components?
Do you know the Bluetooth version of your devices?
You seem to imply pairing the device does not work well.  Can you tell us what is happening and what tones you might be getting from the devices?  Are you able to get them in the pairing mode and your see on the Settings-Devices-Bluetooth page the system loading the drivers?
When you try to connect, do you just power on your devices and not put them in the pairing mode?  Any option showing up for connecting them.  The first time you connect, you may have to allow it but devices seem to operate differently and may not need certain steps.
What Wi-Fi card do you have?

hello mate, If you do a right click on the bluetooth icon on the taskbar and go to open settings you've got a tab called share. check if the box allow remote devices to browse, send, and receive pictures, music, and other files is ticked. You can also try to connect from your phone to your computer I know for my nokia 3720c is the easiest way because sometimes my computer don't want to connect to the phone but the other way works all the time. What kind of phone do you want to connect ?

Ok, first off here are my system specs:

I use a Compaq Presario with
1024MB DDR RAM
3.2 GHz Intel P4 w/ HT
RADEON X1300 256 MB GFX card
Windows XP Home Edition w/ SP2

Here is the problem:
Any new program that I install, be it an upgrade to a chat program or an online game, will not connect to the internet. Programs that were already on my computer work just fine. Example: Firefox has been on my computer since before this issue, and it works just fine. IE 7 which I downloaded recently does not work, even though IE 6 worked just fine. This is true for games as well, CS:S works fine, new games that I install will work clientside but cannot play multiplayer. This applies to all programs, even my anti-virus programs. So in summary, any program that was put on my computer after this issue is unable to connect to the internet. I am not sure when this issue occurred, since I only just realized recently that my programs not connecting was indicitave of an issue with my computer and not the program.

The attempted and failed solutions:
Updating firmware on my router
Disabling windows Firewall
Updating drivers on my wireless card
My system restore does not work, so I was unable to try that

What I am certain is not causing the issue:
I know it's not my ISP, since programs that were using the same port were unable to connect after the program was updated.
I know it's not my router, since other computers on my network do not have this issue.

Are you using vendor's bluetooth drivers? If so, remove it, reboot and let your system install the Microsoft bluetooth stack. You may have to uninstall your hardware manually too (from device manager)

Hi Guys,

I am trying to buy a new "sports headphone" to be used at the gym. Unfortunately, where I am, I only either have bluetooth 2.0 + NFC or Bluetooth 4.0 (only 1 or 2 options) without NFC.

I am really keen on NFC, as I have a S4 and really keen to try NFC, would really appreciate any feedback on this? Is BT2.0 with NFC a better option in terms of easy of use or a simple BT3.0 or BT4.0 without NFC be a safer bet?

I am not too sure how stable the NFC technology now is, so thats my only concern.

Would appreciate some feedback on this.

Thanks

Answer:NFC or bluetooth sports headphone?

Since NFC only works up to a few inches, it must be used just for the setup. The Bluetooth would then be used as the link between the headphones and phone.

I can't use my bluetooth headphone and wired earpiece simultaneously. whenever I connect my bluetooth headphone to my laptop, the wired earpiece stops working.I'm having Dell XPS L501X with Realtek High Definition Audio. Is there any way to make them work simultaneously?

Answer:Can't use bluetooth headphone with earpiece!!

I don't think there is because usually when you plug in a headset or turn on a bluetooth headset it disables the speakers, so I suspect that bluetooth essentially does the same to your wired headset - probably nothing that can be done about it unless you happen to find a setting in the realtek control panel that disables the 'feature'."I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us..." It all started after returning after summer to my flat, and after setting up my computer the internet would not connect. All I get is "Limited or no connectivity".

originally i thought the problem could have been the Norton Firewall that was installed over the summer. So i did a system restore to a time at the start of the summer when the internet worked, this did not help. So I undid the restore...

And now hardly any programs will open Internet Explorer and Norton in particular.
I have since run scans with Ewido anti-malware and Ad-Aware.

These came up with a problem file which i have got rid of but the problem still remains!
I have tried everything I can think of...Please Help!!

Thank you

I have a Insignia bluetooth wireless headphones that I want to use to listen to my Viso VO37L flat screen TV. So I put a Soundblaster Audigy soundcard in my spare computer and connected the TV headphone jack to the input line of the soundcard. I can now have the TV audio playing through the computers speakers. The problem is that no matter what I try I can't get the signal to the headphones. I have WIDCOMM bluetooth 5.1.0.3900 software installed on the computer and it works fine ,I can hear all Window XP sounds as well as the media player and other software audio. I tried using a few recording software programs thinking I could use the monitoring feature to hear the in-line input, but even though I could record the input and hear the replay I couldn't hear the monitor. Hi, I am having problems getting a Bluetooth headset to operate. Having connected and paired (I believe), the device shows in Devices and Printers. In Device Manager, there are three listings for it (Aukey model EP-B4). Each listing says there are no drivers installed. Have tried updating each and all but after an age for Windows searching for drivers I had to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to close it.
I have contacted the manufacturer many times but so far no results - they repeatedly requested from where I bought it and item number.
I am using Win7 SP1 with all updates current.

The headset works well with my mobile phone and tablet (Android 5.1).

Any help much apprecitated.

I own a macbook pro and runs windows 7 by bootcamp. The headphone is JBL e40bt.
I tried to use my bluetooth headphone it had always failed and it said there was no driver for "bluetooth peripheral device."
I then downloaded the ASUS driver thing from here: Can't find drivers for bluetooth headset - Windows 7 Help Forums
And the problem was solved.

But now when I connect my headphone, it is only good immediately after I connect it. As long as I play something continuously the headphone won't switch off by itself and nothing's wrong. But if there's no audio input from the computer to the headphone for like a minute and then I start playing music, the audio is skipped. I have to reconnect the device for it to return normal.

Please help me. It is quite annoying. It's okay if I am playing games and stuff but I when I'm playing music I can't let it stop.

Hi.I've been lurking for a bit and have had most of my questions answered and issues solved bythis fine community. Thank you!My problem is that I can add my bt headphones (I've tried two different sets) in the "add device"option, but once I shut the bt device (headphones in my case) off and then turn them back onagain the sound continues to come from the tablet or stereo speakers (which ever I'm using atthe time) and the sound won't switch to the bt headphones automatically. I must manually go theSound settings in Control Panel options and select the bt headphone to use them again. As ofright now I've got a shortcut to the Sound options on my desktop. Now this isn't a deal breaker forme, but there's got to be an easier way! LOLS!Any suggestions? Thanks! And for the record I have no wifi issues and I've upgraded to 8 gigs of ram so I'm keeping this!!!

Answer:Yoga 13 Bluetooth Issues (Headphone Connection)

I haven't tried using a Bluetooth headset with Windows, but check: 1.  Right-click on the sound tray icon, select Playback devices.  Does it show a 2nd bluetooth headset device in addition to Speakers?  If so, left-click on it and try the "Set Default" dropown menu on the bottom to make it the Default device (or some other option that works better). 2.  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933144 3.  http://www.computing.net/answers/hardware/making-bluetooth-headset-default-audio-device/87178.html

I've recently bought a Bluetooth USB Dongle for my Dell Inspiron 1764 laptop so my wireless headphone could connect to it. The dongle connected and installed fine but when I pressed "Add a device", it saw it as a keyboard and when it tried to install the driver for it, it gave me a "No driver found" for Bluetooth Peripheral Device. It is a Ciberspeed Sports Bluetooth Headphone and it has worked for my iPod so I'm not sure if that's the issue. I appreciate any help.

I used to be able to listen to music through a pair of Sony bluetooth headphones on my Wins 7 laptop. However, I am no unable to do so. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the bluetooth drivers with no success, removed and added the device. I followed a number of the steps in this thread : Bluetooth headset pairs but won't connect, not avail as playback devic , specifically the post from 11th Dec 2014 . Computer has been restarted multiple times.

I've attached an image of what I see. I can connect the headphones to the laptop, but can't listen to music. I also cannot set the headphones to default playback.

Atm, I'm listening through an aux cable, but any additional trouble shooting steps would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

The sound quality on paired headphones is terrible. There is a background, high pitched whine being transmitted that makes it unbearable to listen.
A wired pair of headphone works fine. The headphones work fine when paired with my Note 4 & Sony TV. A second pair of bluetooth headphones exhibits exactly the same problem, so it is 100% definitely the laptop that is the problem.
Does anybody know how the fix this please?

I have an issue with the Bluetooth connection of my Lenovo U31-70 notebook. Even I have connected and paired my Bluetooth headphone, the notebook still cannot detect it as a playback device. It just connected as a device categorized as unknown rather than an audio device. What should I do to let my notebook detect my Bluetooth headphone as an audio playback? PS In the photo, BeoH5 is my Bluetooth headphone, but it did not show as a playback device.

I am installing a PCI Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio in my ThinkCentre M51 1843-wnv with 2.5 GB RAM and a freshly installed PCIe ATI Radeon HD 4550 graphics card. My question is this: How do I connect the sound card to the front mic and headphone inputs?  I have been googling this all day and keep running into something about "2 x 5 pin Front Panel Header for connections with Intel HD Front Panel Audio standard header" but don't really understand what that means. Thanks!

----------------------------------ThinkCentre M51 (8143-WNV): Intel Pentium 4 (HT), 4 GB RAM, 40 GB 7200 RPM SATA HDD, PCI Tower (4x5), Intel GMA 900, 48x32x48x16x CD-RW & DVD combo, Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet, Win XP Pro, US Robotics voice/data modem PCI, USB 2.0 PCI card

Answer:Connecting SB sound card to front mic and headphone inputs

there should be a cable that is connected on the motherboard, which connects the internal sound card sound out, mic in to your external front sound jacks, disconnect that cable and try to fit it on your sound card.

I just got a refurbished y510p today and have been trying to get it to work, but have been having an issue where, a short while after booting up, any programs I have started will stop responding, and any programs I try to start after that will not.  It will also fail to properly restart or shutdown, stopping at a black screen with the laptop still on until I forcefully shut it down.  From looking into it it seems others with this problem have had success by disabling expresscache and intel rapid start/storage.  I did this and it seemed to fix the problem but it ended up happening again a bit after.  Any ideas? e: Found another thread where it was suggested to completely uninstall them then restart.  did that and it now works perfectly (knock on wood).  Thanks for including software that renders the machine inoperable, Lenovo.

Answer:y510p Problem; programs stop responding and computer will not properly shutdown/restart

Hey, Its not the software that is rendering your laptop inoperable but your SSD is faulty. You may want to contact the seller and get a new or replacement SSD.

Have you tested other BT (bluetooth) devices on the Vostro 1540? What BT device is installed in the Vostro 1540? What operating system are you running? You should check with iball- Chat for support and setup of their product. Assuming you read through its User Manual for troubleshooting steps.

If you connect any Bluetooth Headset or Devices using Audio + Hands-Free Profile with Windows 10 build 10049 Bluetooth Stack, it uses only Audio and doesn't allow Hands-Free use.
I have tested 2 different devices, Windows registers both profiles, but never allows Hands-Free, so it isn't possible to use cortana, teamspeak or any Voip-Application by now.
With different Bluetooth Stacks, I tested Toshiba's, it works, but other issues occur.
Previously used devices may not connect at all, because they seem to be already registered to Toshibas Stack, but not working at all. Any suggestions or ideas?

X220 tablet (about 2.5 yrs old, out of warranty) was working completely fine last night; this morning, no sound is coming from the laptop, either through speakers or through headphones (audio jack).  I am, however, able to get sound through a bluetooth-connected speaker. I had hoped this was a software issue.  Tried uninstalling/installing all sound devices, updating BIOS, updating drivers, system restore to previous date, rebooting a million times, etc.  No joy. When I run the sound troubleshooter, it says that no speaker, headset, or headphone appears to be plugged in.  The sound icon has a little red circle/white X next to it.  When I try to plug in headphones, nothing happens -- does not seem to detect the event.  When I press the mute and volume buttons on the tablet, no response. Also, under Device Manager -> Sound, video and game controllers, it lists only "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio" and "Intel Display Audio".  I don't think either of these is the normal X220 audio driver, is it?  What else should be there?  I downloaded the Conexant Audio Software from Lenovo's site (this is what came up when I searched for audio drivers for the X220 tablet), and tried to install it, but halfway through, it said the install failed because it couldn't locate the device for the driver. This sounds like it's a hardware problem -- any way to verify?  Also, which piece of hardware exactly?  Is it the sound card ... Read more

Answer:X220 tablet - sound suddenly stopped working from speakers and headphone (but not bluetooth)

If it doesn't appear in the device manager, it sounds to me like the sound chip (codec) or some support chip has died. I'm not sure how exact you want the answer to be. I think on that model, the codec is a Conexant 20672. If I am correct, the normal fix is to replace the motherboard. Many x220 machines are still under warranty. If yours is, now would be a good time to use it. You can check here:http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-service/warranty-status/default.page?

Hi, all.
I have a desktop and a Compaq laptop both using Windows XP Pro SP3. I would like to connect them both using Bluetooth so I can transfer files between them. I don't care about sharing the internet connection. I hoped to buy an Ethernet crossover cable but I couldn't find any, and I've been using a USB stick to very, very slowly transfer files across.
I turned discovery on on both the PCs and used both to try and find the other to "add a device", and they do; and also turned "allow Bluetooth devices to connect" on, as well, but they are unable to connect for whatever reason. I tried using a custom key and letting it choose one for me but neither worked. As clever as Microsoft is it doesn't tell me what the actual problem is. All it says is there isn't any more information about it. I also don't want to not use a passkey.
Again I don't need to share the internet connection, merely transfer files between them. I also tried with a small test file and it saw the other PC but then chose to fail. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Laptop: Lenovo Flex 3 1470OS: Windows 10 pro x64Card: AC-3160Driver: 18.40.0 I have this strangest issue with my Lenovo Flex 3 1470. My built in bluetooth receiver only turns on when i restart windows. If I shut off windows completly and then turn it back on again, bluetooth doesnt work. The icon is dissapeared from the action center and from the device manager. In this state (with laptop on and bluetooth not working), if I restart windows (through start>on/off>restart) the bluetooth device suddenly becomes available upon rebooting. And it works completly stable with all connected devices. I don't want to restart my laptop every time I want to use a bluetooth device. I have tried several things, a clean windows 10 installation, some energy on and off switches in device manager and many different kind of drivers. I even tried replacing the card with a ac7265, but when i did this WiFi worked and bluetooth entirely didnt work nor did it show up in device manager. I waisted money in a effort to fix this strange bluetooth problem,  i guess. Ideas anyone?

Hi..

Hope someone can help. I am getting really frustrated as every time I connect to the net my laptop crashes or an error msg pops up with a msg warning that the pc will restart in 60 secs. I have AVG and AD-Aware and run both but the problem still persists. Please help ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

Answer:Crash & Restart when connecting to the net

try disabling the messenger service, this has nothing to do with MSN messenger. It opens up some nice security holes.

Right click on My Computer and then on manage.
Goto services and applications, then on services. find the messenger services and disable it and make sure it's stopped. Then try again. if it pops up again try to run the command
"shutdown -a"
that will stop the countdown.
click start then run, if 2000 or xp type "cmd" or else "command" (I forget what 2000 was). then type in shutdown -a
that will abort it. Give that a try and let us know.

I have a pair of August MS515 connected which work only intermittently and which seem to require me to restart me machine several times before they will finally work. I've uninstalled several times, basically done everything I can. The manufacturers tell me that Dell is particularly bad for supporting their equipment and that I need to install the latest (Radio) drivers to make sure that the connection works all the time. At the moment the speakers are both visibly paired and indeed reporting as connected via bluetooth but there's no sound and I can't get them to Connect when I right click on the sound icon. SO the only speakers showing as connected are the default laptop's. Any idea what I need to download and update form the Dell website? They, of course, disown me as I reuse to buy a new laptop from them and think it;s weird that I have one which is 6 years old. I've tried downloading the WLAN Radio Switch but that stops and I also can't get the DellRctlService to start or run,. Si I suppose I'm stuffed, unless someone brighter can point me in the right direction!

My Bluetooth connection to a speaker was OK but then it stopped and I have not been able to re-connect. The computer detects the speaker but pairing goes on endlessly without completing. I tried updating all the Bluetooth drivers but they were reported as the best available. I saw that the checkbox for 'Bluetooth will be allowed to find the PC' kept becoming unchecked, and that 'Bluetooth devices will see this PC' had a yellow triangle against it.I also tried connecting my Windows phone to the speaker, which worked fine, so it seems to be an issue with the PC. In Properties it is reported that  'additional installation is required' --- what is that and how is it done?

Answer:Bluetooth stopped connecting

I have a a Dell Latitude E7450, running W7 Pro (64 bit). I recently bought an August EP650 bluetooth headset and tried to connect. It does not. It is recognised in 'Devices and printers' and drivers are installed and when I go to 'Sound' I can see it, but it is disconnected and nothing can make it connect.
I searched the internet for 2 days and tried various things. I understand I have to go to 'Device and printers' -> right click and select 'Service' and click on 'Listen to music' or 'Forward VoIP to Handsfree'. I click on 'Listen to music' - nothing happens. No message, just nothing. I checked 'Properties' -> 'Services' and 'Headset' is selected as a Bluetooth Service. I tried everything suggested on forums.
I went to Dell drivers and could see a new bluetooth driver issued on 01.08.17. Downloaded and installed it. The fun started then as the headset would not install correctly, I hade like 15 issues with 'Bluetooth Peripheral Device'. Nothing I did installed the correct drivers for 'Bluetooth Peripheral Device'.
I gave up and called Dell, but they see it as a software issue (yeah! their software!!!) and want to charge me the earth for helping me with no guarantees.
I found the restore point and rolled back to before I installed the new drivers. Device manager is now not complaining, but still nothing works.
BTW - the headset connects to my mobile no problem. So ... Read more

Hi, I recently got this new WLAN Bluetooth Combo Adapter so that I could have the option to use bluetooth devices with my laptop. I'd connect my Sony MDR-XB950BT bluetooth headset and use it to talk to friends on Skype. When I look in my sound devices, there are normally two devices my headset connects with: "Headphones" and "Headset". The headset option is what lets me use my mic. However, now "Headset" displays as "Disconnected" and right-clicking then pressing "Connect" doesn't help. When I unpair then re-pair the device, it takes forever to download it's drivers, then I see that there is no "Headset" option in my sound devices at all! It reappears upon restart, but again as "Disconnected". Also, now when I connect my headphones, the "Headphones" option also displays as "Disconnected", but unlike the "Headset" option I am able to right-click and press connect and it will then connect. All my drivers are up-to-date and when searching for my new WLAN Bluetooth adapter I was told by an HP expert (who was a great help by the way) that this one was indeed compatible with my laptop model. It worked at first, but now I'm having these issues. There is no answer anywhere online that works for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

hello all.

Ive been having trouble with my bluetooth connection. Whenever i attempt to double click my phone icon in the devices menu to view its bluetooth connection options, i get a message saying:

"an error occurred when initializing this operation. Try restarting your computer and/or the Bluetooth device. "

so, what i see so far:

-the phone successfully pairs with my computer
-each device can see each other

but they cannot interact.

the phone however will connect and interact with other bluetooth devices.

ive double checked many times, my drivers are all there and up to date.
(also used driver genius to check this)

also, whenever i start my computer, i always get the message: "ERROR: unable to start bluetooth stack service"

any ideas what's going on here?

thanks.

Here is the solution: - On the Bluetooth and go to device manger and uninstall the drivers- After the uninstall turn off the Bluetooth and install the acer driver for Bluetooth which is match with your device- But not to on the Bluetooth before installation of the drivers- After the installation turn on the Bluetooth and you see win does no install the drivers it self because the driver is installed and device is in working condition- Search the devices and hopefully the Bluetooth not finding the device issue is resolve Thanks

So I want a way to connect my PS3 headset to my computer to use on ventrilo. I have a hp pavilion p6000 with windows 32-bit if that makes any difference. I have tried plugging it in USB and without and my computer won't detect it. I've read stuff about and adapter or dongle to find it and was wondering if thats the problem how can I get something like that in a download for free. I've searched everywhere on the net and couldn't find anything so i thought i'd come to these forums because I don't know any others >_< Plz help!

Answer:Need help connecting bluetooth headset

Flok980 welcome to SF,
You must go to BT devices and set it up to look for devices while putting the headphones in visible mode.

recently i have been trying to get my wii mote to work on my computer (windows 7 32 bit). i have gone through all the steps necessary in order to get my wii mote to work for games e.g cod 5 pc. my real problem here is that the Bluetooth dongle v2.0 randomly disconnects my wii mote from itself. so for example: i have connected the wii mote successfully to Bluetooth and now i am about to run glove pie but all of a sudden the wii mote has disconnected and not working any longer. Bluetooth try's to reestablish the wii mote automaticly but fails and says "driver did not install properly".
if anyone could please help me that will be much appreciated thanks

Hi all! I have problems when i try to transfer files between my PC and other devices (mobile phones, PC's) via bluetooth.

I can send files normally but i cannot receive them. When I try to receive, the connection just fails. Do you have any idea what might be the problem and how to solve it? Could it be something to do with serial ports? At the moment I am using different serial ports for sending and receiving (COM23 and COM24). How can I change the serial ports so that they would the same for sending and receiving..?
Or has it anything to do with serial ports?

I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit and my bluetooth device is Generic Bluetooth Radio manifactured by Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd.

Br,
John

I love my Sony DR-BT101 bluetooth headset. It would connect fine with my PC and worked beautifully. Unexpectedly, it suddenly stopped connecting and every time I tried to pair nothing would happen. I've been able to add the device, so the PC recognizes it. However, it won't connect with the PC and the device does not show up as an option in the playback tab in the sounds menu.

So, I tried following this link:

http://windows7forums.com/windows-7-networking/24580-make-your-bluetooth-devices-work-windows-7-a.html

Still nothing. I'm not even sure what the Mobile Device Center is meant to do as the headset is not a mobile device like a handheld. It said I should see an 'Unknown Device' named 'Bluetooth Peripheral Device' - which never was listed.

My headset is not on low battery, and has never had connection issues in the past, or even problems with playback. I haven't messed with any of the PC's services or changed anything on my adapter.

If someone could help me out that would be great, or share similar attempts to solve this problem.

I have a Lenoca flex 2-15 laptop. Its only 6 months old.

I cannot get my Bluetooth to connect to a device. Bluetooth is on when I go 'Connect' in action centre it searches and after  a few minutes I get "Make sure that the device is turned on and discoverable" I can see the blue Bluetooth logo in the taskbar so it is available and on. It is also blue in Action centre.I have Uninstalled a re-installed the Blue tooth device several times. I have two devices in the room that it should discover, tablet and speakers. I can connect other devices t the tablet and speaker ok but NOT my Lenova laptop.
When i right click the Bluetooth icon I go to Bluetooth then hardware and Settings it says the device is working properly. I then click driver and everything is greyed out except Driver Details......Help anyone?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
We got my Dad a Nokia Lumia 530 for Christmas.
We managed to connect it to his car via Bluetooth for a very short period of time before we started having issues.
The 2nd time we tried connecting it, the phone showed as 'Voice Control (or Voice Connected)' and didn't work. No phone book was visible on the car's dashboard.
Then, I have done a factory reset on the phone in the hope that it would work, only to find that it now says UHP Couldn't Connect, and I don't know what that means.
Any idea how I can fix these Bluetooth issues as it is a feature my Dad really needs?

Answer:Why is my Bluetooth on my Lumia 530 not connecting to my car?

How do you get it to connect?
