Preferred Solution: Satellite A30 Should I contact Toshiba Europe or Toshiba Worldwide?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: Satellite A30 Should I contact Toshiba Europe or Toshiba Worldwide?

What a strange question?.
If you have some problems with you notebook you have to contact the authorized service provider in your country.
The technicians should help you.
But listen; if your notebook is out of warranty (and I think it is) you will have to pay for the reparation!!

But what?s a problem with you unit???

Windows boot manager. Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause
To fix the problem.
1 insert windows installation disc and follow the steps.
If you don't have disc contact system administrator or computer manufacturer

Answer:My laptop has refused to boot. Say to use a disc which I don't have or contact manufacturer. It's a Toshiba satellite

Sounds like you are going to need a Windows OS (Operating System) CD or bootable Windows OS USB device.

If you don't have either of those, see if you know someone who does. I know, unfortunately windows no longer seems to come with those, like they did at one time. Now they have it set up so that you have to make your own, once you have the computer, but people don't know that, or ignore it.

If you don't have anyone who has either of those that you can borrow, you can try contacting the manufacturer and see if they have a way for you to get one.

Answer:Toshiba satellite P300 (-1CD) won't boot past toshiba splash screen.

Perform the following steps:
-Remove the battery and Power adapter
-Press and hold the power button for 30-45 seconds (with battery and power still removed)
-Insert just the battery and attempt to boot the laptop.
-Insert just the power adapter and attempt to boot the laptop.

If still unsuccessful: Remember to remove battery and power before removing/installing components

-Remove the power and battery
-Remove the hard drive from the laptop and attempt to boot with the battery installed. Do you receive any error message?
-Remove the memory modules from the laptop
-Insert just the battery and attempt to start the laptop (you should receive beep error)
-Try inserting just one module of memory and test (swapping modules after each attempt)
-Remove the optical drive and test.
-Try disconnecting the CMOS battery for a few minutes then re-connect and try.

when using the above card, and TRENDnet TEW-311BRP WireLess Broadband Router, I cannot get a stable connection.

It always connect and disconnect me.

I use this machine and card all over the world: airports, hotels, offices and it works great.

I asked the dealer to replace the 311. Same problem.

However, if I stick TRENDnet PCMCIA card and disable the Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card, I connect w/o disconnections.

any idea?

Greetings, I am trying to update my Toshiba Satellite P50-C-11M through the Service Station, however an error occurs. Please note the laptop is roughly a week old only.

As I press install on the updates I get the following message: "The software update download operation failed. Reason: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {4991D34B-80A1-4291-83B6-3328366B9097}.

I tried the following solutions and nothing worked:
1. Updated the BIOS Independently from the Toshiba Europe Website.
2. Uninstalled the Service Station and reinstalled it again.

Thank you, and I hope this helps others too.

However I have been looking to notebook and vista for Vista Release date. When am I be able to install vista onto my A100-912 Toshiba Notebook. Altough Toshiba recommends Windows Vista, there is no any Toshiba offical drivers for my notebook.

I think Toshiba doesn't recommend Windows Vista for my notebook which model is Satellite A100 (PSAA9). Am I right ?

I don't understand how the registry patch update works, i downloaded and extracted the update as asked into a temporary folder but there was no install setup and i'm pretty sure i didn't install anything unless the system installed it itself without asking me. I want to know how this registry patch works and how it is installed.

And the disc creator has wasted over 15 empty DVD with the same error code 380381-26-2A030C00. I don't know what to do about it, i've tried microsoft fix it software and deleted the upper and lower filters in the registry but still, i can't burn CD's.

Help me. Thanks.

Answer:Toshiba registry patch update and Toshiba disc creator issues

I?m a little bit confused?
What Disc Creator patch do you mean?
What notebook do you have exactly?

On the Toshiba European driver page I could find some patches like recovery patch.
But this is Registry Patch for System Restore.
After downloading the zip folder, you should unzip this package? then you will find one exe file? this file needs to be unzipped too! Right click on this file and choose unzip here.
Now you should find some additional files and one of the files should be an install.exe?

However, in your case I recommend testing other disk like DVD-R from different manufacturers like TDK?
I use DVD ?R and never had any problems using such disks?

I associate buttons with valid exe files in toshiba assist/toshiba button support/ register with target paths but buttons still not work,
also i check bios there are nothing that can enable/disable those buttons...etc...

all other things installed successfully such as drivers, software everything that i donwload from toshiba support page.

Any help???

My windows version is windows server 2008 enterprise sp1 x64.

Answer:Portege R600 Toshiba button (backlight, toshiba assist) don't work

Did the buttons work with the previous OS preinstalled by Toshiba?

I think the problem is the Windows Server 2008 enterprise sp1 x64?
Possibly the Value Added Package does not support it fully?

Of course the Windows Server 2008 OS is based on Vista but it?s not the same and I think this is the problem?

Notebook information: Toshiba Satellite L505-S5990, Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit

About a month ago I was on my notebook browsing clipart on when a window popped up in the lower right corner (taskbar). The only anti-virus I was using was Windows Defender and running IOBit360.

I will tell you what I remember. The window borders in the pop up were red, it presented itself as a Microsoft Windows product and it stated I was infected with a virus. There were 2 or 3 buttons to click and I clicked one of them which prompted me to buy the product, I did not do this. I closed the window, again and again, and downloaded several anti-virus, anti-spyware, and anti-malware free programs in addition to system optimization software. Several threats were found and removed (unfortunately I do not have the logs for these events) but the startup was getting slower and slower and I believe my settings were being hijacked. Over the last several weeks, I did a little amateur investigation to see what was running in the task manager. I came across a process that I was not familiar with and that I had not seen previously, taisregistpinger.exe. I performed about a half dozen factory restores which only seemed to make things worse until on 3/12/2011 after the last factory restore on the original factory hard drive, the desktop was now a blue screen with big bold red font that read: WARNING, your computer is now infected with malware/spyware (I can't remember). It had a coupl... Read more

I wonder if there are any Techheads out there looking for a challenge?

I have a new Toshiba LCD HDTV that I want to use as the primary and only monitor for my Toshiba Satellite laptop.

I want to eliminate the laptops screen altogether.

I would like to know if there exists a connector or some other way to connect my laptops ribbon cable output to a VGA output and then to the HDTV via a VGA cable; or if there is a better way to go?

The screen on this 4year old laptop got cracked so I have to spend at least $75.00 for parts alone and if I go that way I might as well buy another laptop, or use a desktop with a wireless keyboard which will cost more than $100.00 to set up.

Besides, this seems like a kinda cool fix so if anyone has any bright Ideas, please respond.

You'll have noticed the nice T icon in your address bar for this forum.

To use this distinctive icon for any shortcut to a Toshiba application or your user guide just follow these steps:

1/ Create a directory somewhere to store the icon you are about to extract.

2/ Access this forum in your browser.

3/ Go to your +Temporary Internet Files+ location (different between XP & Vista)

4/ Look for the icon with name {color:#0000ff}favicon.ico{color} alongside the name []

5/ Copy this file into your icons location created at step #1 and rename the file (e.g. {color:#0000ff}Toshiba-T.ico{color})

6/ On any shortcut to which you want this icon applied, simply right click on +properties+, click +change icon+ and point to your newly saved {color:#0000ff}Toshiba-T.ico{color}.

That's all.

My friend's in the market for a new computer; for various reasons, it looks like Toshiba will be the brand of choice.
(foremost among them being local-area service/support in Indonesia, where she'll be for 3+ years).
That said, the only Toshibas that we've been able to get some hands-on 'look and feel' sessions with were
the Satellites (i.e. the entry-level machines); they were... OK... the build quality felt... well, retail-ish =p
Anyone have experience with the next tier up, the Satellite Pro models?
Presumably the build quality is at least on par with the Satellites; any better? Appreciablly better, that is?
If simply on par, she may as well get a Satellite and take her chances...
Thanks in advance.

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Answer:Toshiba Satellite A30

Stick hoover nozzle up against the air exit and set on mid-power. It should shift the worst of the dust.I might get ticked off for suggesting this, but when you can't easily remove bits to get inside, it's about the best option. The expensive option is to take it to a laptop service engineer who can probably strip it down to get to the fans.

My question is does this laptop ave only one memory slot, cause i took off the panel to test the memory and all I see is one slot. Ok, I got a used laptop from work, always worked fine.

brought it home, and it worked fine. then all of the sudden it would get through the toshiba screen and go nowhere.

then the next day, it started up fine 2 times.

I tried to boot from the XP CD, and it does the whole blue screen thing until 'starting windows' then it just hangs up.

When I boot in safe mode, or attempt to, it gets stuck on system32\drivers\agp440.sys

any ideas?

Answer:Toshiba Satellite M35

Ok... well it seems to be royally f;ed up.

I attempted to install windows again, after booting up. So it could not delete the partition. I had to install over it and erase it. In the process, it ended up with an error and cant complete the install. So now it keeps hitting some error about text.

I did have a ghost boot disc, and now it wont even finish booting up to the ghost program, it just gets to an a: prompt.

Anyway to wipe out the HD with not much access to anything and start over?

A while back someone brought me a computer to try and get into it. It's a Toshiba Satellite A505. She had been sick and not used it for about 6 mo. When she tried to get into it she had forgotten the Toshiba password to get into it (not the Windows Administrator password). She had tried numerous times with different things she had used before on things. Since you must take the computer completely apart and remove the motherboard to get to the battery, which is soldered on the bottom of the board, I couldn't remove and try that as I usually would do. I talked to a couple computer shops and they wanted around $150.00 to do all that. Where I am now with it is I have tried 2 other motherboards in it and neither of them has any video. It powers on and that's all I get.
I would be very appreciative of any suggestions.

Question: Toshiba Satellite

MY friend has a Toshiba Satellite A75-S209 laptop, the hard drive has died, I have found one online for him, but we have no recovery disk from Toshiba to install the OS on the new hard drive, question is where can I find one? If he has to buy Windows, he might as well buy a new laptop. Also how difficult is a hard drive installation in a laptop. I have done this in a desktop.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Answer:Toshiba Satellite

You might be able to order the Recovery discs from Toshiba for a small fee.

Most laptops now require the user to make their own discs when they purchase the system and the re is a recovery partition on the drive.

P.S. Windows is considerably cheaper then a new laptop. And you should have a Windows license number on the bottom of the laptop so the worse case scenrio is that you have to get a regular Windows CD, do an install and download all the drivers, but you'd lose some of the Toshiba pre-installed software.

There is a button on the CD tray door. Just press it. You may need to restart the computer and then press the button when the computer starts so the computer isn't trying to read the disc. Or you can go to This PC and right click the CD/DVD drive and choose Eject. If all else fails there is a pin hole on the CD tray, push a straightened out paper clip into it to force open the tray.

I have a toshiba satellite 2545xcdt w/amd k6-2 333mhz, with 66fsb. was wondering what is the fastest cpu that i can replace it with?

Answer:toshiba satellite cpu

Well you need a laptop version of the CPU which is harder to find then a normal one. On top of that, K6-2 CPUs in general have become something of a rarity. & finally when you take into account the fact that laptop CPUs aren't meant to be swapped with newer ones, you'll notice you have a lot going against you.

If you insist on looking for one anyways, I guess you could pretty much take any K6-2 all the way to 500mhz & adjust it to a 66mhz FSB. The Socket CPUs before the Slot 1/A era did not have locked multipliers so you could play around with it & the FSB, provided the laptop's BIOS / Mainboard lets you do so.

Just bring the new chip down to the same speed as the old one & gradually raise the speed while keeping an eye on the temps. If your laptop was designed with a certain CPU speed in mind, it might not react very well with a faster, hotter chip.

I still think it might be a better idea to start saving for a newer laptop though.

PS. Welcome to TechSpot. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Question: Toshiba Satellite

I have just replaced the screen on my Toshiba Satellite U50D-A laptop myself as they as it was not covered under warranty.

Now when I power it on it comes up with PXE messages which indicate it is trying to boot from the LAN instead of the HDD.

HDD is the first boot device in the BIOS

Possibly the HDD was wiped when it was in for repair and therefore it cannot find a boot partition on it to boot from.

My initial questions are:

1. How can I tell if the HDD has a bootable partition on it?
2 How can I reload Windows 8 onto the HDD if I do not have a CD/DVD drive on the laptop?

Mant thanks for any help you can give me.

Answer:Toshiba Satellite

make sure your HDD is detected on the BIOS if not try to press del or f2 to go into bios then select your HDD as primary HDD press f10 to save changes,,try if you can boot it.. if not then you will have to re install your operating system via bootable flash drive.

The laptop only has sound when I run the Toshiba PC diagnostic Tool.

When I play anything from the internet or put a DVD or CD in there is no sound. The DVD plays and shows the movie, but no sound.

I have gone completely thru and made sure every sound control is turned on to maximum.

I have ran the trouble shooters.

I have gone onto Microsoft and ran all the fix its, tried querying the problem on the internet and tried everything I can find to try.

What am I doing wrong?

Drivers are updated.

Answer:Toshiba Satellite P35

Since you say your drivers are updated I assume there are no yellow exclamation marks under sound in Device Manager. In Device Manager, right click your DVD and CD and select properties. Make sure that enable digital CD audio is checked.

Question: Toshiba Satellite

I have a Toshiba Satelite l305d-s5900. I turn it on and it immediately goes to the toshiba leading innovation screen. It doesn't do anything if I press f2 or f12. I've tried pressing f8 while powering on as well as 0. It does nothing. I'm at a complete loss on what to do.
It makes no sound when trying any of the above or at start up. I took it apart earlier and there's nothing disconnected and no damaged wires that I can see. Ive also tried taking out my battery and turning on with just power supply because someone told me to try that, nothing. Please help!

Answer:Toshiba Satellite

how old is it, when did this start, is there a cd/dvd in the tray? remove all usb stuff that plugged in..try unplugging and removing the battery and holding the power button for 10 seconds, then plug it in and put the battery back in and try it..

Hi, I joined today and thank anyone and everyone in advance for any help he/she can give me. Here is my first problem - with my laptop screen. A vertical red line on the right hand side of the screen suddenly appeared a few days back while I was online and will not go away. I tried changing the screen saver already. It's still under guarantee but I have no faith in the shop where I bought it (they told me to bring it back as it means serious screen problems) but as I'have just had some bad experiences when I returned other electronic equipment I'd like to check if anyone else has ever had this happen and what was the solution. Again, thank you!

Answer:toshiba satellite m60

test with vga out?

I had the same computer with the same problem, when i contacted toshiba support they gave me a local repair site and i brought it in, they tested it and replaced the screen in 2 days. The guy at the repair facility said all they did was to hook up an external monitor to verify it was indeed the screen and not the system and when they knew the problem was the screen they proceeded from there. If you have a vga monitor you can plug in and test it, if it is the screen it's one of the easiest fixes, so unless the shop you're dealing with is totally inept, or totally corrupt, it should be no problem

Hey guys,

I need some help. My friend has brought her laptop to me as it no longer loads up to see if I can fix it. I have had a look on the Internet and I can't see anything that would realistically fix the machine. The machine is running Vista Basic.

This is the problem and I am hoping someone has a solution for me:

When switching on the machine the power light goes to green but nothing else happens. The disk light does not come on and the screen is completely blank. I can't load anything on the machine to try and get into safe mode, I have no way of getting into the Bios or anything as it just doesn't seem to be loading up. Now I have read alot recently about updates from Microsoft causing these types of issues and the "Black Screen of Death" and I don't know if that is the case here or if the screen is just broken. I did put the recovery disk in and the disk started spinning but I have no idea if it was working as I couldn't see anything on the screen.

I unfortunately don't have a space monitor to plug this into to see if the screen is just buggered but I honestly don't think it it, since there doesn't seem to be any disk activity either.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try? I would try and wipe it with a Vista disk I have but I don't know if that would work and want to try and save what is on the machine before I even try that.

Any help would be appreciated and if you need any mor... Read more

Greetings, Kerry...

A few things you might consider trying, if you haven't already:

Since you can access the 'net, hit the Toshiba forums, see if anyone else has had similar problems...

Pull out the hard drive, RAM, and battery, make sure there's nothing foreign in the bays, and re-seat...

Make sure none of the fans are obstructed - some machines have fan fail-safes...

Try to boot from the Vista disk you mentioned, as a troubleshooting procedure...

Keep us posted...

Question: Toshiba Satellite

Hi Gang

I have my neighbors Lap Top a Toshiba Satellite P205-S7469. She was in the middle of an e-mail and the screen froze up, she shut it down and turned it back on and now it will go through the Toshiba Intro, and goes to a blank screen. The cursor will still move so it is not froze up. I have tried the repair and it goes through that and says everything is ok, ha ha ha I tried to do a restore and it will not let me do that. It will not do anything in safe mod either. You click on safe mode and it goes to the blank screen and sits there. I have tried a recovery disk and that does not thing.

It acts like the boot sector is bad. and ideas.? She has a lot of pictures and bank stuff on the HD, so I don't want to lose that.

Answer:Toshiba Satellite

Hi Gang...Just remembered I also ran a Avira scan on it, no change. I also pulled the HD from it and used a cheater cable on it, and the HD runs and I seen all the info on it. All seems intact that way.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A135 notebook. It has four USB ports that all do the same thing. Anything I plug into them it just says "device not recognized". I have made sure its not a driver OR software issue. Tech support tells me I have an issue with my systemboard. I have also even tried flashing my bios to a new version and still the same problem. My question is this!

I recently bought a PCMCIA card with 4 extra USB ports on it but it has to be powered by ONE usb cable. Will this card work? Even tho my ports don't recognize should it power the expansion card I'm about to install? Any suggestions? This is a nice notebook and I just need some USB support before I junk it. Thanks.

hey guys! well, a few weeks ago my laptop stopped working (The one in the title) I obviously was depressed because I have a lot of things on my laptop. The problem is that I get to the boot screen, where it allows me to go into safe mode, start windows normally etc etc. Then it will do the countdown 'til it starts windows normally. but, as soon as I hit Enter, or the countdown is done, it freezes on that screen. I tried editing my BIOs, maybe there is more I can do in there, not
completely sure. I blew into the vents and tried to blow out any dust. I opened some of the computer, and sprayed some aerosol to clear out any dust on w.e I did open. ( I couldn't figure out how to open the whole bottom/back of the computer ) I also tried using the recovery disc, but it is not recognizing the disc drive. By this, I mean that it is not loading anything from the disc drive. I also tried to install another operating system (Mandriva Linux, DSL, and Ubuntu Linux) All help will be appreciated,

P.S. If someone can help me with also opening the whole laptop that may help as well.

After doing that it says a system32 file is corrupt or missing and cannot start windows. We do not have the windows starting disk and I cant get into safe mode. I've been given a Toshiba Satellite M70 Laptop.. I've been given this laptop because the internal screen isn't working.. so wanting some opinions.

The screen lights up, but doesn't display a picture - instead just random vertical & horizontal lines. I think its probably going to be the LCD panel, I've reseated the cable at both ends but didn't make a difference.

Just wondering what other people think.. I just don't want to order a replacement panel if someone thinks it might be the mainboard for example.

Answer:Toshiba Satellite M70

Well, the first thing I would do is plug an external monitor to it and see what comes up. Toshibas have a diagnosis function that you can run if you hit F8 at startup. Choose the test and let see if it finds any problems with the onboard screen.

My laptop was working fine.

I took it to a friend's place so that she could plug in to it some speakers that she bought for a party. She plugs them in and they don't work. Now my speakers on the laptop don't work either, nor do the external speakers of my own that I was previously using. I don't know anything about this, but through internet "research", I decided to download new drivers.

This did nothing. Because I'm impulsive, I reformatted my computer. Still nothing. I had given up hope but just a few minutes ago, my laptop gave off a high pitched beeping noise, leading me to believe there may still be a chance. Everything looks fine to me, a layperson. When I open up the sound icon thing, there is a little green bar bouncing up and down, which I think is good.

Any help?

Answer:No Sound with Toshiba Satellite

I would like to know which notebook model do you have. Is this older notebook model?

Following your impulsive reaction you have done good thing. If you have installed OS using Toshiba recovery CD/DVD everything should work properly with ?factory settings?. Of course if there is no hardware malfunction.

Please check one more time in device manager if sound card is installed properly.
Test it again with headset. Be also sure option MUTE is disabled (FN+ESC). Check volume control dial. Maybe is set to minimum level.

Please post the results.

Answer:Toshiba Satellite T110-121

Sorry to hear that
However, we are still unable to assist in bypssing any passwords

If you want to go back to factory settings - you will lose all the data and possibly any emails that have been used with a program on the PC and POP

From CD

You may have a hidden partition on the harddrive - if so you can recovery from there -
BUT - you should also be able to create some bootable recovery DVD or CDs from the hidden partition using the toshiba recover cd creator

two ways to get to the hidden partition on Toshiba
Press an hold the zero key and power on - this will enable the recovery menu
OR on later models
Tap F8 as it boots and then use repair computer - from menu

hold F8 and turn on PC
choose first option
Repair PC

may need to change the keyboard layout to UK
then log in to Administrator user

Full menu of options appear

if not you can order replacement recovery cds

The issue I'd like to bring up to your attention is due to the availablity of chipset and graphics drivers on intel website for laptop chipset family 852/855 GM/GME, much recent than the corresponding files available on this site, released by the end of 2003.

My question is: is it mandatory to use oem provided drivers or can we use those ones, assumed that a pc (I hold a SA-40 model) comply with posted requirements (as it is my case as far as I can see)?
And if so, why do they not show up on this website?

Answer:Satellite A40: Should I use only Toshiba drivers or can we use others?

you can use the drivers from every source you want to.
But be aware of that drivers for examlpe from Intel are designed for desktop PCs.
So they will not work on a notebook or can even damage it.
But there are unofficial pages on the web, which provide modified drivers for notebooks.

Be aware of there is no guarantee that this drivers will work, and you also don't have warranty in case of damage.

I am currently having several issues with my laptop. I bought it over the summer in the U.S. and brought it back with me to Europe where I currently reside.

Most of the time, the Windows button on the task bar, the left hand side of the computer and the key on the keyboard do not work so I have to shut my computer off manually by pushing the button on the side. I am hoping that this does not cause any harm to my information. Also the brightness and volume buttons don't work that often.

I was also very unhappy with the fact this laptop did not come with the Windows movie maker and an "unzip" application. I had to scramble to find one online to open files for school.

I also have tried using an HDMI to connect to a Smart TV but that doesn't work either. I am not sure if it is because of Windows 10 or the laptop itself.

I am very very disappointed with this laptop. My previous laptop was also a Toshiba and I absolutely loved it, that is why I bought another. After dealing with these problems and not having easy access to finding answers, I will not purchase another Toshiba laptop.

Answer:Problems with my Toshiba Satellite P55-W

okay, your laptop problems are part-hardware and part software.

Shutting it down:

This sounds like a fault with the windows install if anything. If the power button works, there's no reason why it shouldn't shut the laptop down instead of hard-crashing it. There's a recovery menu in settings, see if you can restore the laptop to factory defaults (back your data up because it's 99% likely that it'll be wiped)

Movie Maker and Compressed files:

As of Windows 8, Microsoft doesn't include movie maker anymore, good thing really because it's rubbish. If you want it, you can download it from microsoft as a standalone program (or cluster, as it comes with some optional extras).

Windows DOES have a basic compression feature, but it's pretty bad. It doesn't take very long to go grab WinRAR.

HDMI output:

Your laptop has an integrated graphics chip, this chip has a maximum resolution that it can display.
If you could tell me what CPU you have, i'll find out the max resolution, but it's very possible that, with the high resolutions of modern smart TV's, you can't drive that many pixels.

toshiba satelitte with windows10 shows AC plugged in. Shows that it is plugged in and charging, but actually does not charge. I can remove AC and replug for approximately 5 seconds of charging until it stops once again... no matter how many times I plug it in and out I only get about 5 seconds where it shows current being received for charge. Then it stops and begins to drop.,

Answer:toshiba satellite not charging

Probably needs a new battery as the existing one has come to the end of it's life where it can no longer hold a charge. If laptop is still covered by warranty, contact Toshiba.

Hi All,

I'm posting here in hope that my diagnosis of my laptop is wrong and that it is fixable.

In short my cat has decided that my laptop was his new bathroom and peed all over it.
I know the likely hood is that its killed pretty much everything, i'm just hoping that there is a way to fix be replacing parts such as motherboard to get it running again. Does anyone know if this is possible or am i looking at buying a new laptop all together ??

Any suggestions would be appreciated good or bad
