Preferred Solution: Cant get bluetooth to work on T410

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: Cant get bluetooth to work on T410

Hi The_drew,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with Bluetooth on your ThinkPad T410.

Is there any yellow mark in Device manager?
Have you checked with updating Bluetooth driver?
Many I know which Wireless card you are having in your system?
Check with running ThinkVantage system update tool, the application will check for the latest drivers and application for your system.

Hope this helps. Do post back if issue persists!

Best regards,
Hemanth Kumar

I bought a new T410i and I opted not to get the webcam and bluetooth. Just wondering: 1) If I didnt get the webcam, will there now be a useless slot / hole at the top of my LCD where the webcam shouldve been?2) I also didn't get the bluetooth. Will the middle indicator LED be useless now? Also is there anything else that's useless as a result? e.g. one of my FN keys (F5?) and is there a physical bluetooth radio switch that's useless? I'm a design nut and these things bug me.

Answer:New T410 - what happens if I don't get webcam and bluetooth?

Hi echelon6,

Welcome to Lenovo Forums.

Interesting concern you have there. Below is a pic which I've taken on my T410 with webcam and my colleague's who doesn't have a webcam

Without Webcam

With Webcam

So basically it looks like the "webcam" holder is being replaced with a blank "board" or some sort.

As for the Bluetooth, I am not sure as I do not have a non Bluetooth T410 in office. It should be a indicator without light. (Not sure)

Fn + F5 would still work as it also controls the WLAN and physical switch still works as well cause it also controls the WLAN.

Hope this helps.

I received a T410, it seems does not come with bluetooth. Can I use the bluetooth module from T60( part no: 39T0497) for T610?Thanks a lot

Answer:Reuse the Bluetooth of T60 for T410

They're not the same parts or Bluetooth generation, so compatibility is probably not possible. I could be wrong.

I can't get my phone (LG-810 Incite) to pair with my T410. They see each other but won't pair. The T410 keeps asking for pairing code and when you let Windows create one, the number disappears too fast and it says can't pair with the device.  I tried making one up and that didn't work either.  LG says the pairing code for the phone is 0000, doesn't work. I am running Win 7 Pro x64.

you should be getting an option to not use a code do it without a code and it will work. well thats the way it worked for me

I have a Thinkpad T410 with Bluetooth and up untill recently everything worked fine.  Now I cannot connect to any new bluetooth devices.  Existing bluetooth connections still work fine, but if I wanted to add another mouse or headset, I cannot. I am running Windows 7 Pro x64 with all the latest drivers, I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the bluetooth drivers and application several times with no luck, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Answer:T410 Bluetooth not seeing devices

hey Gizmoguy3000,could you try uninstalling all the bluetooth devices and drivers. then let windows install its generic drivers.once the generic drivers has been installed, try pairing all the devices and see if that works.

Hello. I have a Lenovo T410 and T510 both have been built with XP SP3. Both will not enter Standby and flash up the error "The device driver for the Thinkpad Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate II is preventing the machine from entering standby"I have un-installed and re-installed the Bluetooth from device manager and re-installed the drivers. This helps for a short while then the problem returns.I am confident the correct driver, which I have downloaded from Lenovo, is installed and both Installs of XP are patched up from Microsoft... Any ideas..?? Thank you!!

Answer:T410 and T510 Not going into Standby because of Bluetooth 2.1

Just out of curiosity, do you have any devices connected to the BT service when you're trying to enter stand-by? I've seen this cause issues randomly in the past. You may try turning off the BT radio and see if the problem goes away. By doing that and leaving the service running, that should at least help determine whether it's the device or the driver causing the issue.

Hello everybody, I am trying to set up the bluetooth to work on Windows 8. Funnily enough everything went smooth with Ubuntu 14.04.So I am 100% sure this laptop has bluetooth hardware. Still, on the support website there is driver for bluetooth. It says it should be included in Windows 8 but I can't find it.Nor I can find the proper device in my control panel. Any hint? Thank you all.

Answer:T410 2537 NQ6 bluetooth under Windows 8

Hello, Are you sure Windows 8 didn't install its native Bluetooth drivers? I've never had any problems with Bluetoothinstallation on any ThinkPads when either clean installing or upgrading to Windows 8. If you have the Thinkpad Hotkey Features Integration package installed, you can press FN+F5 to open upyour WiFi-Bluetooth window and enable the Bluetooth there. If not, the package is here: Hotkey Features Integration for Windows 8 See if this doesn't resolve the issue. Cheers.

Good day to all.

I am an I.T Technician at my workplae (newly hired, close to 2 months now) and there is a Lenovo Laptop I have some trouble with. The owner made a request for a mouse. Before purchasing one, I talked to my I.T supervisor and he said he had one, a ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse. He asked me to try using mine on the laptop to see if it will work, to verify bluetooth capablities. While installing the driver, it asked to switch on the mouse, which did. I proceeded to look for the little bluetooth icon on the task bar in order to add the device, Said icon was not there. I then went on to searching for the bluetooth in the Start menu by typing in Bluetooth, which was what I did on my laptop (T530) when I did not see the icon.

After seeing the Bluetooth link on the Start menu, i clicked it but nothing happened, no window opened and no bluetooth icon on the taskbar. I searched again but instead I clicked the Send and Receive function, that opened but I could not use it, options were darkened. So I htought to myself, maybe, the Bluetooth Radio is off. I FN+F5 for to open the wireless radio setting and did see that the Bluetooth Radio was off. I switched it on and tried opening the bluetooth again but still nothing happened. I deceided to do a reboot to see if it would help. After logging in as administrator (by the way, all of what I said was done on the administrator profile) I FN+F5 again and shockingly, the Bluetooth radio was gone.

Hi, I would like to install a bluetooth daughter card on my T410 machine. According to T410 manual, there are two compatible parts, 60Y3199 and 60Y3213. Does anyone know the difference between those two? When I searched web, some dealer said 42T09069 is also compatible with T410. Is it true? I would appreciate much if somebody provide answers to my questions.

Answer:Bluetooth daugther card for T410

Hi and welcome to the forum!
42T09069 is not a valid part number, whereas 42T0906 appears to be and that too on online auction sites, according to all auction sites that I've visited; 42T0906 is a part number for turbo memory, not Bluetooth.

A for other two part numbers, I don't know the difference between them, however seeing how lenovo has various suppliers of keyboards, trackpads, batteries, fingerprint, LCDs and so forth; it wouldn't be wrong to assume that these two come from different brands, or perhaps since lenovo has so many systems, therefore they just like to have two part numbers.

Both are compatible with T410 and should work though.

Hope this helps.

Answer:T410 bluetooth driver missing after upgrading to Windows 10

Dear Waddie,

Welcome in lenovo community,

I think that you are facing a compatibility  issue,

Cause lenovo did not test or released all the compatible windows 10 drivers for the T410 yet.

But you can try to right click the BT driver from the device manager and choose Update Driver Software.

I've just received a new TP T410 2522-AT6 with XP SP3 and I've noticed that the bluetooth radio is not automatically powered back on when resuming from standby or after a system power off/power on (as wireless radio correctly does). With my previous thinkpads (T42 and T60) the wireless and bluetooth radios where both brought back on if they were on before standby or power off (as it should be imho). This behavior is pretty annoying because I use the bluetooth connection to automatically keep in sync my Lotus Notes calendar with my nokia phone with an automatic refresh every hour (Nokia PC suite feature), but in this situation, if I resume the T410  from a standby (or power off)  I must remember to manually power the BT radio back on or the connection is broken.I've checked everywhere (power settings, Access connections settings, BIOS, BT configurations) but I didn't find a place to change this behavior. As a workaround during reboots, I've put a batch program in my XP startup folder that uses  ACFNF5.EXE (access connection program) with the /bton option, and this seems to work... but I'm still stuck when going in standby!Any ideas on how to fix this? Anyone knows a good reason for this changed behavior? Thanks

This happend on laptops, on which you tried some linux OS like liveCD of Ubuntu, or something like this. The solution was to reset BIOS. Then this problem disappeared. Do not know, if this is your case, but anyway you can try to reset BIOS.

I just got a set of Bluetooth speakers and tried pairing them with my laptop last night.  Although it detected and paired to the speakers, it couldn't detect the type of driver.  After looking online I installed the Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software II for Windows 7.  It then found the appropriate driver and the speakers worked fine after the installation. This morning I restarted the laptop, and it hasn't been working since.  It will boot (very slowly) and sometimes get as far as the login screen.  After logging in however (the mouse locks up at this point) it will never get to my desktop, it will just go to a black screen and sit with the pointer in the middle.  I have tried booting it in safe mode, running a repair, and none of this has worked.  Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I posted a message to ask that whether there is a method to enable the bluetooth module(made by broadcom) of s10-3t to work with bluetooth PAN. if it is possible, I can connect s10-3t to internet via a smartphone by bluetooth. I studied it, and  successed! The result is that: the Toshiba stack driver can enable the bluetooth PAN of s10-3t.

Hi, i noticed a problem with my usb port. After restarting the computer from sleep mode this morning one (really just the right one) of the usb ports doesn't work anymore. When I checked on system status, it indicated no problems with any of the USB ports.  Drivers were okay and updated, as well. There was an Update for Win7 64bit yesterday, Immediately after the update everything worked. After restarting today i could discover the problem. Is there anyone who can help me?

Have been trying to upgrade my T410 running Win7 SP1 64bit  from 2x2GB to 2x4GB RAM (KVR13S9S8/4, Kingston ValueRAM 4GB SO-DIMM, 204Pin, DDR3-1333MHz, 4GB, DDR-1333 (PC3-10600), CL9, 204-Pin) but Windows doesn't start with this memory. The weird thing is that the PC boots and i can enter the BIOS and can see the 8GB installed, but Windows 7 hangs at the startup screen and never comes up. I first thought of defect in RAM and have requested replacement from vendor, but same issue with new RAM modules. Any idea why this is? Tx

Hi, recently I noticed that most of my fn key combinations don't work anymore (fn + PgUp for instance works for the light). I tried updating the software with the 'Hotkey Features Integration' [http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-74261] package (after that I uninstalled all of the software and reinstalling them. Still no luck. I also noticed that the blue ThinkVantage button lost its function (ThinkVantage Toolbox is still working though). When I go into the folder C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY and execute TpFnF5.exe it does open the according function. Does anybody know of a solution for this problem?

Alright guys, I have just refreshed my pc because I was having numerous problems with it and it turned out to be a bad stick of RAM. However, now I am having software issues. Whenever I try to make a call on the desktop version of skype, the program crashes. Whenever I try to open HP support assistant, the program crashes. When i am using the metro app version of skype I get a weird artifacting type problem on any of the buttons. I have this same problem in internet explorer and on Netflix. Netflix will not play on Chrome. It will play on IE, but with the button artifacting problems. My computer will not pair via bluetooth with my phone. What would be your recommended course of action? I don't know where to begin. I have tried updating drivers and the like but it has not helped.

Thank you

I saw a message from a year ago on here, but no resolution.  I realize that it is likely hardware related, but would like to know if there were others that experienced this, and maybe found a solution. I have had it 4 weeks, and just installed win7 from XP 4 days ago.  Yesterday, I come back from lunch and the laptop screen is white, external monitor works just fine.  Windows recognized the laptop monitor as my 2nd display, with the external as primary.  All white, nothing displayed.  If I unhook the external, nothing is displayed, but a white screen. If i unplug EVERYTHING and boot it up, the bios is not even displayed durin POST, just a white screen.  I can enter credentials at the known spots during boot and get it all the way to the Windows desktop, but the screen stays white. I am sure I am not the only one that has had this happen, so I am looking for feedback and what resolutions took place. Thanks!

Hi all, great forum! congrats! I live in NJ and am expected to be overseas for around 3 months in 2012. My question is that if I buy a new T410 with 3G wireless WWAN internet enabled, will it also work when I use an overseas service provider's 3G SIM card? I ask because on Lenovo's website as I customize the specs, I choose: 1.  Intel Centrino Advanced-N  + Wimax 6250 2.  Integrated Mobile Broadband - (Sierra Wireless MC8355 - Gobi 3000 TM)  I get the next screen which says: SIM Card - USA which to me seems to indicate that the SIM card slot will only accept/recognize US-based SIM cards/service providers. Pls. help me out so that I can be sure before placing my order.... thanks a million

That will work with a lot of "overseas" 3G services, but there are some that it wont work with because some 3G ISPs simply do not allow BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) connections to their service.

That has nothing to do with the technology on the Gobi 3000 card, it is a connection policy matter.

Hello, I try to update the BIOS Supervisor password through the vbs code who can be find in the following pdf file: "WMI_Deployment_Guide_T400_T410.pdf". Through a batch file, I run the following command: cscript %0\..\ChangeAdminPassword.vbs oldpsw newpsw ascii,us I get an "SetBiosPassword: Access Denied" error. So I tried to manually change the password to a more simple one like "aaa" then when I try to run the vbs though the batch file with this simple password it works! The difference here is that our passwords contains numbers like "aaa111" and when I try to update the password with an alphanumeric password, I get an access denied, do you know why? Thank you for your help and sorry for my bad English, Josh

Answer:Help!!! SetAdminPassword.vbs on ThinkPad T410 doesn't work

I don't know where you got "ChangeAdminPassword.vbs" but that is not a Lenovo script for ThinkPad T410. See:  http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-68488and look in script.zip for "SetSupervisorPassword.vbs" I just now confirmed it by going to BIOS F1 setup and setting the admin password "password12345"Then I booted into Windows and used the script as follows:cscript.exe SetSupervisorPassword.vbs password12345 new12345password67890 ascii,us Did you accidently get the WMI scripts for ThinkCentre (desktop) or ThinkStation (workstation)?  Because I think they are different.  Maybe that's where you got ChangeAdminPassword.vbs and why it doesn't work on ThinkPad.

I'm trying to use coasting on my T410 (one finger scrolling). Using the practice option, I find that the coasting only happens very slightly (about an inch) and is completely useless. Perhaps this is why it is switched off by default? I used to have a Dell with a Synaptics Touchpad and the coasting worked brilliantly, you could give it a flick & it would coast a long way, you could stop the coast when you had gone far enough, by just putting your finger down again. With the Lenovo it never coasts far enough to even use this capability. I would love to know if there was some way to fix this, as coasting is a real boon with my RSI.

Hi guys. I just got my T410 a few days ago and I found an issue with Skype. When I use video chat on Skype, the integrated webcam keeps restarting itself in every few seconds. So my video gets black in every few seconds. I tried the preloaded video utility and it works fine with that. I can get conintuous video displayed on the screen. It seems does not work with Skype which also comes with the laptop. I tried the webcam with different version of Skype and I got the same issue. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit with 4GB memory. I talked to Lenovo Tech Support and they did not have any idea either. Seems like some driver or software issue with Skype. Does anyone has the same issue with the integrated webcam? Any idea how to fix it? Thanks.

Answer:T410 webcam does not work properly with Skype!!

I run a HP laptop with Vista. I have been having the same problems with the webcam and Skype. I had to delete my HP media smart webcam execute file and it helped. It did not fix it completely but it minimized the problem, such as the program constantly restarting. I am still working on trying to stop the cam from doing this constantly. HP was no help and neither was Skype for that matter, they both were more confused than I was.

Anyone else experienced this? Nothing that I plug into that port is recognized. The other three USB ports work fine. There is no physical damage that I can see, and Hardware manager says all is OK. Answer:Yellow USB port on right side of T410 does not work?

Yellow should mean this is the "always on" USB port, and has special properties. You can check to see how this is configured in the BIOS, there are explanations on the right side of the screen that tell you how each setting behaves. IIRC, there are 3 different settings--you could try the other two.

Hi, I have a problem with my microphone mute button on my T410.  It does not mute the microphone when pressed.  I verified this by opening the Sound settings in Control Panel and the fact that the amber light doesn't come on to indicate it is muted.  When I mute the microphone through the Control Panel Sound option, the light does not come on either. This started happening after a reinstall of Windows.  I made sure to install all the software and driver updates using the Lenovo Driver and Software update tool. I also individually downloaded and installed the Conexant drivers, too. Any ideas? Thanks, Chris

I have seen a few forums here and there talking about possible work-arounds for the lack of a bluetooth stack in server 2003, and they have not worked. The driver here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-50245.html Installs without compalint, but after reboot, cannot find a bluetooth device. The bluetooth service starts and runs happily. I found a hack-around solution involving update Q323183 for tricking 2003 into installing a bluetooth stack elsewhere, it also failed to return any results. Has anyone figured this one out?

i had this working on my T42p back in the day but that was 6 years ago.   it installed using the driver from IBM and the MS BT stack.   i'm about 95% sure i was using the standard version of 2003 which by default includes a BT stack.   enterprise and datacenter do not since there's no logical reason for either one to be running bluetooth due to security risks.

I had my computer for less than 2 years and already had to get my computer fixed twice: first for the keypad having a dragging arrow  and secondly for the fan noise. I am unable to click on to open internet browers but I am able to click on the power off button. I noticed my computer has been hotter than usual, so I think the problem with my keyboard might related to my fan. A couple days ago my computer shutdown in the middle of watching something on YouTube and the comptue rebooted with a black screen saying fan error and stuck keyboard. Does anyone know what the problem is with my computer? Hi. I just registered on forum and sorry about my poor english. Actually i visit this forum for years and i'm thankful for many times i getting help on it. Now why i registered. First, recently i purchased ACER AO722 C68bb (i believe this version is for eastern markets), with preinstalled Windows7 starter. Bluetooth connectivity has work.On back is written that device has installed Atheros bluetooth module AR5BBU22. Shortly after purchasing, i installed Windows 7 Home premium x64. Everything was fine, since i decided to connect my netbook with my phone by bluetooth connection. Almost one week after i couldn't manage to do that. I will insert 3 pictures to explain (i hope) where is problem. As you can see on first picture ''allow device to connect'' is greyed out. I've searched on different forums, including this one, without solving. I believe that I will find solution here. Drivers are ok (i believe). System did "see" bluetooth network, but is not connected because neither my phone "sees" netbook, or other way around. I manage to establish bluetooth connection with usb dongle, but that doesn't makes me happy. If you can, please help me !

Answer:Bluetooth won't work

Hello and welcome.
Well, your English was not that bad. I could still follow you basically.

Since you were able to connect the phone to the USB dongle, (correct?) then that means everything should be alright with the phone.

I believe the first thing you may need to do is click "Add a Device" to let them detect & identify each other. Once there is a profile created, then the next time you want to connect maybe click "Allow a Device to Connect." Try that and see if it works.

I just bought a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse from dell. It came with a bluetooth dongle.

I went about installing it and notice that in the installation, when you get to the part where it says 'no blue tooth devices detected' it then says to put the dongle in, i put it in, and the message stays up, it never notices the bluetooth is plugged in.

its not that the computer doesnt notice it, because when you plug it in, it recognizes a new peice of hardware and then it says successfully installed, but the driver installation still says it is not detected. I end up chosing continue install without device.

i researched this topic greatly.

i deleted all of files in the folder that started in 'BTH' so that it wasnt using the default windows drivers by accident. i also uninstalled everything and then attempted to reinstall and still the computer does not recognize a bluetooth device installed...

so now i ask you guys, what is there i can possibly do to get this computer to let me use bluetooth.

i am running on a windows xp pro sp2 operating system.

thanks everyone...

My daughter recently gave me her old Palm Treo 650 cellphone. Apparently it is too old to "speak" (sync) with Windows 7 64 bit using their software but it can be done using bluetooth. The phone is bluetooth enabled and has an infared port, but my computer is lacking -- something -- to make the connection...what do I need? a USB dongle-thing? Something else?
thanks

Answer:What do I need for bluetooth to work?

Bluetooth is just a connection method. If it can't sync with Windows 7 64-bit using a USB sync cable, that isn't fixed by syncing with Bluetooth. You still need the Palm Desktop software or (maybe?) Outlook (not Windows Mail). If you want to attempt to connect the phone to the computer with Bluetooth, you need a Bluetooth USB dongle for your computer. I've never had much luck with Bluetooth data connections. Given the age of the device, the challenges are magnified.

I've tried about every single website possible for help with my T60.   This is my first post, so i'll give as much details as I can..  I've got a T60 2007 BE6 running windows 7.  I've tried downloading all the drivers for bluetooth with no success. I can't get any bluetooth devices to be found on my laptop.  I'm using a microsoft notebook bluetooth 5000 mouse.   I know my bluetooth mouse works because it connects without a problem to my other laptop.  Also,  the wierdest part, I haven't touched my laptop in about 2 months, before I stopped using it, the bluetooth worked fine.  When I picked it up last week, the bluetooth wouldn't work.  Any idea's?? Thanks!

Answer:bluetooth won't work

Hei nstoker, Are you sure you got the bluetooth radio turned on? There should be a LED under the LCD that show you if the bluetooth radio is on or off. It should be next to the other LEDs for wireless, HDD activity etc. If not turned on try to press Fn-F5 and select to turn on the bluetooth. If Fn-F5 does not work you are missing some software/drivers like the hotkey and system interface driver. You should also be able to enable the bluetooth radio from BIOS and save, reboot then it should stay enabled when Windows start. Even if bluetooth is already enabled in BIOS still choose to save when you exit the BIOS and it should stay on. Also make sure the hard switch to enable/disable all radios is turned on. I think it's located in front of the computer on the T60. If the bluetooth radio is off you won't be able to install the bluetooth drivers and will see some kinf of message that says "no bluetooth device found" or something like that. -gan

Acer laptops dont always come with the bluetooth modules installed, there sometimes sold as 'Bluetooth Ready' meaning you can buy an additional module for it. If you have a look for the exact model number underneath, I'll have a look about for you to see if it comes with one already installed.

Hello everyone. My laptop is X220 (42902NB) with Win7 64-bit .  Today  i was trying to use my bluetooth function, and i suddenly found that it doesn't work. 1. I'm sure that my notebook has bluetooth adapter cause i've used it several month before;2. The hardware switch for "wireless - bluetooth" on my left hand side is "ON";3. I checked the BIOS->Security -> I/O Port Access->bluetooth, it was enabled.4. I can't find bluetooth devices in Device Manager.5. I tried to reinstall the bluetooth driver, and it's interrupted with "No bluetooth devices found..." (sth like this)6. Fn+F5 only showed the wifi radio.7. I've reinstalled power manager, hotkey driver, access connection....  makes no difference... The green bluetooth light is ON during the boot-up process, but then it turns off and never light on again. Now I really have no idea to solve this problem, hoping you could help me      Thanks a lot

I'm trying to connect my Bluetooth headset to a Windows 7 PC so that I can receive and make Skype calls. The headset seems to have successfully paired with and connected with the PC, but I can't get anything to play through it.
How do I check what is going wrong?
If I look in Devices and Printers, I can see the headset there.
If I right click on it and select Properties, and then look in the Services tab, it says that the headset is enabled for Audio Sink, Handsfree Telephony and Headset.
If I look under the Hardware tab, I see Bluetooth AV, Bluetooth hands-free and Bluetooth Headset.
If I look in the Sound control panel, under the Playback tab, the only device I see is Speakers. Should I see the headset here, if it's connected properly?
If I look in Sounds under the Recording tab I see Microphone (default device), Line in (currently unavailable) and Stereo Mix (currently unavailable). Is this correct, or should I see the headset here too?
How do I tell Skype to use the headset and not the speakers or the built in microphone? If I plug in a wired headset, it automatically switches off the built in speakers and microphone, and any phone calls that I then make will use the headset - why doesn't this happen with the Bluetooth device?

How do I debug all this stuff? How do I see how the headset is connected? How do I see what profile the sound applications (Skype, Lync, Media Player etc.) are using? How do I see what messages the answer button on the headset is sending?

I just... Read more

I've had this laptop for over a couple months now. I can't get the bluetooth to work!I'm using windows 8.1 Pro, and have installed the latest drivers from acer support. The back of the device does say "This device contains WLAN+Bluetooth Module AR5B22". There is no bluetooth options in pc settings/wireless. No bluetooth radios in control panel, or under networks. In the task manager, there is a bluetooth symbol "Extension core" which is running in the background. What do I do? Thanks!

I have two Kensington USB Bluetooth adapters. ( http://www.kensington.com/html/6397.html ) and when i plug it in my computer, it sees it and wants to install it, asking me for the driver (BCM92035DG is the "name" it gives me). When i run the installer, it installs but it says its not connected and can't find it ( even though its connected)...then when i click cancel so it finishes the installation everything is ok witht he installation. When i click on the blue icon on the taskbar for bluetooth devices (it was added witht he driver installation) it says "Bluetooth Device Not Found". How can i fix this, since i know its not the computer...tested it on multiple computers, and also tested both my adapters.

Answer:bluetooth adapter won't work

was there any driver delivered with it for the bluetooth?

Hi, I've used my pc bluetooth several times to download files from my smartphone and from my tablet. Some days ago I simply closed the icon on the bottom right of my desktop (near the clock), or maybe I disabled it from loading when I turn on my pc by using Aspy32 (excuse me but I'm not sure). It's some days I can't see my pc looking for it by my phone and tablet and I don't know how to turn it on again. I use Win 7, I haven't a physical button to turn the bluetooth on on my pc, I only have a button "Fn+F2" that let me enable wifi & bluetooth but even if I try to push it (automatically disabling the wifi and having to turn it on again while I turn on the bluetooth) it doesn't works. And I've tried to look for something about bluetooth in the search field of the start menu of Win but the only thing I see is "transfer bluetooth files", with two options "send file" (if I try it doesn't see my phone), and "receive files" (and it says "impossible to receive file, check your bluetooth...."). I also think there could be some kind of conflict with the wifi, I try to explain it even if I'm not an expert (be patient please ). My wifi has a program named "Intel my wifi" that sometime seems to be connected while the wifi is connected too to the internet, and sometime (like now that I pushed again Fn+F2 is disabled and tells me "Intel my wifi: board not found" or som... This happened to me since when I bought it 3years back. The service centre said me that its of software problem and they just re installed windows 8(3 years ago) and said it was fixed. It just survived for 3 -4 days and same problem. Then I asked the store for some help they didn't even. Then I upgraded to 8.1 both wifi and bluetooth worked for 3 days then upgraded to 10 same for 3 4 days.It sometimes worked after rebooting n times and sometimes not. Now it doesn't even work.Tried installing drivers for the same from hp but they are for win8 which didn't even worked when i was on win8.Main problem: Wifi and bluetooth both turns on but wifi doesn't connect to any of the network and my home's wifi network doesn't even show up in the list. Bluetooth turns on but doesn't discover any of the devices nearby nor any device can discover it.Please help thank you in advance.

I've been trying to pair an Apple Wireless Keyboard with my laptop so I can type from a distance. I bought it to work with the iPhone, but also wanted to use it with my laptop to increase functionality.

I couldn't get the bluetooth driver to work on this computer through the software because it kept saying that the bluetooth device wasn't ready and wouldn't turn on. I tried to download the latest driver from MSi's website when I realized that the driver never did install properly!

I tried to install it once and it froze so I closed out of the installer. This led to it being installed anyway, but not fully. I tried to uninstall and run the installer again, but it froze and I left it open the past few days but it's still stuck and probably will remain stuck.

The driver is called "Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba v6.40.01".

Can someone please help me??... Please?
