Preferred Solution: T410 camera and bluetooth upgrade possible ?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: T410 camera and bluetooth upgrade possible ?

Hello mate, I don't think it will be possible for your model.Your laptop model number is not listed with these accessories in the Hardware Maintenance Manual. You'll probably have an error 1802 because of the whitelist.

One of my T410 customers has lost the camera lens cover, and wants to know whether it affects camera function or is just a protective cover. It is somewhat rectangular and has 2 clear windows, 1 large and the other smaller. I've been told that it might be part of the MISC PARTS kit or LCD BEZEL kit, but do not see it listed in the HMM. If it is necessary for camera function, how can one obtain one with spending a lot of unnecessary money on a kit? MTM is 2516-F9U. Thanks

Hi,  I ordered an T410 on March 19th. I have received my T410 today and did some test on it. I found a serious problem for the camera. There is a huge horizontal black stripe at the top of the image generated by the camera. I have attached the pictures taken by the camera in this mail. It can illustrate my problem pretty well.  Hi! I am running a T410 with Linux. The camera is detected but the image is out of focus. I thought it may be a Linux driver problem, so I installed Windows 7 in VirtualBox, using USB-pass-through to use the Windows driver for the camera. I was surprised that the image was exactly the same: out of focus. Note: I have tried various light conditions, distances, etc. The images below are a comparison at the same distance/light of the internal camera, with an external one: Image with internal camera: Link to picture Using an external USB camera: Link to picture Anyone has seen this problem? I know there is an utility called ThinkVantage Communication Utility. Which I can't run on Linux or virtualized. However, as far as I know it has basic image controls (which also work on Linux), but nothing related to focus (and the focus is also afaik fixed). I am thinking this is faulty hardware. I am trying to avoid wiping my system just to restore the factory image just to watch the same blurry image, specially after the hundred of issues I have found with the camera on the web.  Duncan  Moderator note; picture(s) totalling >50K converted to link(s) Forum Rules

The most common cuase of this sort of problem is failing to remove the clear plastic cover strip that protects the camera lens during shipment from the factory.

I just got my new T410 within the last week. Everything was just working fine before today. I found the camera not working any more when I started video chat in Skype as usual. At first I thought it might be caused by the conflicts between the camera and some other newly installed programs, so I just deleted the camera driver and reinstalled it. the situation was just the same. I've also tried reinstalling drivers of older versions, but nothing changed. Now I am guessing there might be a hardware breakdown inside there. Anyone has met similar symptom? BTW, my OS is Win7 x64 Pro.

I can't get my phone (LG-810 Incite) to pair with my T410. They see each other but won't pair. The T410 keeps asking for pairing code and when you let Windows create one, the number disappears too fast and it says can't pair with the device.  I tried making one up and that didn't work either.  LG says the pairing code for the phone is 0000, doesn't work. I bought a new T410i and I opted not to get the webcam and bluetooth. Just wondering: 1) If I didnt get the webcam, will there now be a useless slot / hole at the top of my LCD where the webcam shouldve been?2) I also didn't get the bluetooth. Will the middle indicator LED be useless now? Also is there anything else that's useless as a result? e.g. one of my FN keys (F5?) and is there a physical bluetooth radio switch that's useless? I'm a design nut and these things bug me.

Answer:New T410 - what happens if I don't get webcam and bluetooth?

Hi echelon6,

Welcome to Lenovo Forums.

Interesting concern you have there. Below is a pic which I've taken on my T410 with webcam and my colleague's who doesn't have a webcam

Without Webcam

With Webcam

So basically it looks like the "webcam" holder is being replaced with a blank "board" or some sort.

As for the Bluetooth, I am not sure as I do not have a non Bluetooth T410 in office. It should be a indicator without light. (Not sure)

Fn + F5 would still work as it also controls the WLAN and physical switch still works as well cause it also controls the WLAN.

Hope this helps.

Hi, I'm trying to set up the microphone on my T410 but this seems to be impossible. It is extremely silent!I'm forced to use external headsets and I hate to do so, I move around the computer and want to use the built in microphone as I always did with my previous laptops.I've tried all possible settings in Windows 7, had the boost to the max [40db] but the additional sounds made it useless.   second thing is the camera. When using it during skype calls it is resetting itself every few seconds. Maybe more than few, let's say 4 times a minute. I can see the green light - camera indicator - is off and on after a second. It is very annoying during conversation especially because after it is on again the image goes from black back to normal vision. Is there any hope for these two issues? Thanks,Krystian

Hi, I would like to install a bluetooth daughter card on my T410 machine. According to T410 manual, there are two compatible parts, 60Y3199 and 60Y3213. Does anyone know the difference between those two? When I searched web, some dealer said 42T09069 is also compatible with T410. Is it true? I would appreciate much if somebody provide answers to my questions.

Answer:Bluetooth daugther card for T410

Hi and welcome to the forum!
42T09069 is not a valid part number, whereas 42T0906 appears to be and that too on online auction sites, according to all auction sites that I've visited; 42T0906 is a part number for turbo memory, not Bluetooth.

A for other two part numbers, I don't know the difference between them, however seeing how lenovo has various suppliers of keyboards, trackpads, batteries, fingerprint, LCDs and so forth; it wouldn't be wrong to assume that these two come from different brands, or perhaps since lenovo has so many systems, therefore they just like to have two part numbers.

Both are compatible with T410 and should work though.

Hope this helps.

Good day to all.

I am an I.T Technician at my workplae (newly hired, close to 2 months now) and there is a Lenovo Laptop I have some trouble with. The owner made a request for a mouse. Before purchasing one, I talked to my I.T supervisor and he said he had one, a ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse. He asked me to try using mine on the laptop to see if it will work, to verify bluetooth capablities. While installing the driver, it asked to switch on the mouse, which did. I proceeded to look for the little bluetooth icon on the task bar in order to add the device, Said icon was not there. I then went on to searching for the bluetooth in the Start menu by typing in Bluetooth, which was what I did on my laptop (T530) when I did not see the icon.

After seeing the Bluetooth link on the Start menu, i clicked it but nothing happened, no window opened and no bluetooth icon on the taskbar. I searched again but instead I clicked the Send and Receive function, that opened but I could not use it, options were darkened. So I htought to myself, maybe, the Bluetooth Radio is off. I FN+F5 for to open the wireless radio setting and did see that the Bluetooth Radio was off. I switched it on and tried opening the bluetooth again but still nothing happened. I deceided to do a reboot to see if it would help. After logging in as administrator (by the way, all of what I said was done on the administrator profile) I FN+F5 again and shockingly, the Bluetooth radio was gone.

Hello. I have a Lenovo T410 and T510 both have been built with XP SP3. Both will not enter Standby and flash up the error "The device driver for the Thinkpad Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate II is preventing the machine from entering standby"I have un-installed and re-installed the Bluetooth from device manager and re-installed the drivers. This helps for a short while then the problem returns.I am confident the correct driver, which I have downloaded from Lenovo, is installed and both Installs of XP are patched up from Microsoft... Any ideas..?? Thank you!!

Answer:T410 and T510 Not going into Standby because of Bluetooth 2.1

Just out of curiosity, do you have any devices connected to the BT service when you're trying to enter stand-by? I've seen this cause issues randomly in the past. You may try turning off the BT radio and see if the problem goes away. By doing that and leaving the service running, that should at least help determine whether it's the device or the driver causing the issue.

When I try to pair my T410 with my iPhone 4 it appears to work on the T410 but when I try to connect, the iPhone states that the device is not supported.  My purpose for pairing is to use the hotspot feature on the iPhone wirelessly.

Answer:Bluetooth Pairing T410 & iPhone 4

WIFI hotspot doesn't use bluetooth. Unless you are using a headset or something that requires bluetooth, turn that off in your iPhone.  It's just using battery power.

Hi,I have a new T410 with Windows 7 and I am trying to pair several headsets.I downloaded and installed the latest Bluetooth Driver from the Lenovo Update Site.I went to pair my headset.I expected the same as for my XP based T60, as the KB dochttp://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/How-do-I-pair-my-Bluetooth-Headset-with-the... However I cannot get the Headset to pair twice, as the Headset and Hands-Free Devices separately. Also, in setting up, the software asked me if I would like to access the Internet for Device Images to which I answered Yes.I would like to turn this off, so that it provides the same Icons as in XP, in the doc above whith which I familiar. I would like to associte separately the Headset and Hands-Free Devices so that I can choose to connect or disconnect the services separately, as I use the services with multiple devices and need to switch on a regular basis between Headset on the PC for VODs and Hands-Free on Cellphone for Phone, or Headset on IPod for music and Hands-Free on PC for IP-Phone. Please can you advise how to achieve this? Thanks.Don

Hello everybody, I am trying to set up the bluetooth to work on Windows 8. Funnily enough everything went smooth with Ubuntu 14.04.So I am 100% sure this laptop has bluetooth hardware. Still, on the support website there is driver for bluetooth. It says it should be included in Windows 8 but I can't find it.Nor I can find the proper device in my control panel. Any hint? Thank you all.

Answer:T410 2537 NQ6 bluetooth under Windows 8

Hello, Are you sure Windows 8 didn't install its native Bluetooth drivers? I've never had any problems with Bluetoothinstallation on any ThinkPads when either clean installing or upgrading to Windows 8. If you have the Thinkpad Hotkey Features Integration package installed, you can press FN+F5 to open upyour WiFi-Bluetooth window and enable the Bluetooth there. If not, the package is here: Hotkey Features Integration for Windows 8 See if this doesn't resolve the issue. Cheers.

Dear Waddie,

Welcome in lenovo community,

I think that you are facing a compatibility  issue,

Cause lenovo did not test or released all the compatible windows 10 drivers for the T410 yet.

But you can try to right click the BT driver from the device manager and choose Update Driver Software.

I've just received a new TP T410 2522-AT6 with XP SP3 and I've noticed that the bluetooth radio is not automatically powered back on when resuming from standby or after a system power off/power on (as wireless radio correctly does). With my previous thinkpads (T42 and T60) the wireless and bluetooth radios where both brought back on if they were on before standby or power off (as it should be imho). This behavior is pretty annoying because I use the bluetooth connection to automatically keep in sync my Lotus Notes calendar with my nokia phone with an automatic refresh every hour (Nokia PC suite feature), but in this situation, if I resume the T410  from a standby (or power off)  I must remember to manually power the BT radio back on or the connection is broken.I've checked everywhere (power settings, Access connections settings, BIOS, BT configurations) but I didn't find a place to change this behavior. As a workaround during reboots, I've put a batch program in my XP startup folder that uses  ACFNF5.EXE (access connection program) with the /bton option, and this seems to work... but I'm still stuck when going in standby!Any ideas on how to fix this? Anyone knows a good reason for this changed behavior? Thanks

This happend on laptops, on which you tried some linux OS like liveCD of Ubuntu, or something like this. The solution was to reset BIOS. Then this problem disappeared. Do not know, if this is your case, but anyway you can try to reset BIOS.

I just got a set of Bluetooth speakers and tried pairing them with my laptop last night.  Although it detected and paired to the speakers, it couldn't detect the type of driver.  After looking online I installed the Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software II for Windows 7.  It then found the appropriate driver and the speakers worked fine after the installation. This morning I restarted the laptop, and it hasn't been working since.  It will boot (very slowly) and sometimes get as far as the login screen.  After logging in however (the mouse locks up at this point) it will never get to my desktop, it will just go to a black screen and sit with the pointer in the middle.  I have tried booting it in safe mode, running a repair, and none of this has worked.  Is there anything I can do to fix this?

i just got my w500 with windows 7 and am trying to use both the camera and bluetooth.   i was wondering if the camera can be activated by itself to use it just to record things like a diary?  if so i don't know how to turn it on without being on messenger or something. bluetooth issue...i don't know how to turn it on.  it doesn't appear in access connections pane.  windows can't find it.  my phone is activated and i have passed stuff with it to others so it's not the phone. any ideas with these?  thanks

Answer:bluetooth and camera

For the first part, you'd need an app to 'use' the camera. I had a Logitech cam so I loaded the Quickcam application. Works for recording video or stills. Other apps can 'acquire' the image. My W500 didn't come with any application to make use of the camera feature.Rick.

Question: T410 RAM Upgrade

I am trying to upgrade my 4 GB of RAM to 16 GB ( 2 x 8 GB boards).  After installing the boards and  trying to reboot, Windows would not open up.  The screen showed two options:  repair mode and regular mode.  Neither resulted in Windows starting up.  I have Windows 7, 64 bit as my Operating System, so it should support 16 GB of RAM.  I re-installed the original 4 GB and Windows booted up normally with no problem.  Anyone have an idea what the problem is?

Question: T410 Upgrade

Hey guys. I have a T500 and another person wants it more than I do so I was thinking of giving to to him with a install of 8 Pro, That is not the question though. My question is if I uninstall some of the T500 only drivers and put the SSD in the T410 and install the T410 drivers is that easier and stable enough to be better than doing a clean install and transferring my files. (Unfortunately I would probably lose my JetPack Joyride save data any way to copy that I am like level 12) all my other Steam games thankfully save in the cloud. I also have a second question. It is about the T500 ultra bay adapter for a SATA hard drive (where my Steam games and Blu-Ray saves are stored) is it there same type you use in the T410? I don't mind buying an adapter but if I can I would like to use the same one. Is that possible? I probably can Google it in like 5 seconds but since I am posting a confirmation would be fantastic. Have a great day!

Hi parmardilan,

As far as switching the SSD, it should work once the correct drivers are put in place.

In regards to your second question, according to this Personal Systems Reference the ultrabay specs should be the same for both.

Hope this helps!

Hi guys. I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade the T410's screen from the normal Intel driven 1280x800 to the higher spec 1440x900? My principal concern relates to the graphics chip. Will the higher resolution screen work with the Intel onboard graphics or was the higher spec screen an optional extra that worked in conjunction with a dedicated graphics chip? Also, if it is just a straight swap, are there any other considerations that I should be aware of and has anyone else done this before? As always, thank you for your help.

Yes!

Resolution is independent from the graphics card built in the motherboard. The easiest would be to swap a full screen assembly, but you can just swap only the panel as well. Make sure you follow the steps explained in the HMM: click me!

Hello, I'm about to upgrade HDD on my thinkpad T410 and I can't decide what to buy. So, I need to decide between a WD Scorpio Black 750GB 7200RPM or a WD scorpio Blue 1 TB and 5400 rpm. So can you please help me decide which one is better for my computer Thanks.

Answer:Thinkpad T410 HDD upgrade

Between the two, I would opt for the Scorpio Black.  I replaced my original T510 HDD with a Scorpio Black.  Then, I replaced it with a Seagate Momentus XT hybrid and it really improved performance, especially boot/load time. I have now replaced the Momentus XT with a Samsung 830 SSD, and it is even faster, but only by about 10 seconds on boot/load. Boot time to fingerprint/PW entry with the XT was about 38 seconds  I sent the used XT to a friend, and the comment back was "Wow!"

Answer:T410 memory upgrade

Nope, they don't have to be identical. As far as I know, this issue is no longer a problem on the T410:http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-74739There are subtle nuances to matching DIMMs to maximize the dual channel benefit, but it's not that important.Ultimately, what I mean to say is that you can add a 4GB stick to your existing 2GB (assuming you have a 2GB 1DIMM) to have 6GB.

Hi. lenovors:I recently purchased a refurbished lenovo T410 from the newegg. Upon receiving it, I have been in love with it. But two weeks ago, I encountered [0xc000000f] error message while I was doing a resetting it to out of the box condition. Since it was around thanksgiving, I decided to upgrade the computer. I bought an 8G memory and 256G ssd. Now I am having the following problems:1. With the original hdd in, windows was fine, I switched out the one original 2g memory to the new 8G memory. After I turned on the computer, it passed on the window log (starting) without moving. Basically, it was stuck after swapping the 2g original memory with a newly bought 8G memory. The original memory is Hynix, HMT325S6BFR8C-H9,SODIMM, 2G, 204 Pin, PC-10600 (Bus Type), 1.5ns (Cycle Time), CL9, 1333Mhz (Data Transfer Rate), 166Mhz (Memory Clock)The new 8g memory is: Team 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 Laptop Memory Model TSD38192M1600C11-EWhen I put the new memory in, got into BIOS, the computer recognized it, it show the total memory as 10G.Please advise me if anything I could do to get this memory work out, otherwise, I have to return the memory back to newegg.2. I swapped out the old hdd to new ssd. It does not have issue with hardware. Since my old hdd has [0xc000000f] error message, I installed my own copy of windows7_pro_with_SP1. The windows7 was installed successfully. However, now my wireless, wire internet connection seem not work, also, when I was with 'old' hdd, my compu... Read more

The ThinkPad T410 doesn't support 8 GB DDR3 modules. You need two 4 GB modules.

I have a ThinkPad T410 with a 1280x800 WXGA screen. The model number is 2537-22U. The screen was recently damaged and it needs to be replaced. I'd like to take this opportunity to upgrade the resolution of the screen to 1440x900. The research I've done indicates that the T410 came in these 2 resolutions. Do you know if this is possible? Is there anything I need to be concerned with?

I need to figure out if a certain hard drive is compatible with the Lenovo t410. I don't know very much about laptop hard drives and was wondering if someone could help me out. We use Lenovo ThinkPad T410 with Core i5 2.66 GHz. We are looking at getting the Hitachi Travelstar 7K500 HTS725032A9A364 - hard drive - 320 GB - SATA-300 for all of our laptops. Does anyone see any problems with this? I don't but I don't want to be wrong. Thanks in advance!

Answer:T410 Hard Drive Upgrade

as long as it is 9.5 mm thick, sata and 2.5 inch format then it would work.

Hi! I live in Hungary. I have a Thinkpad T410 it's still under warranty. I bought it from a guy who got it from another guy who works for an major IT company. (The company got some Thinkpad for free from Lenovo because they are relatively big costumers and the guy bought them for cheap money. Maybe it's a bit illegal but it was a very good deal.) In Hungary the Lenovo service (formal IBM service) do the repairs without warranty papers they're just checking the serial number so I can live with my warranty without the warranty papers/bills. Now I'd like to extend my warranty from 3 years to 4 and here comes the question: will I can do it without warranty papers? My girlfriend has an SL 510 (from legal source) and when I bought her a warranty extension lenovo doesn't need from any warranty papers from her. It was a simple thing but what about in this case with my T410? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance and sorry for my possible wrong English.  (z)

Answer:Warranty upgrade on Thinkpad T410

Since the machine is under warranty you can simply buy a warranty extension. The warranty follows the machine and is transferable in the event the machine is sold.

Hey there ... I'm trying to upgrade the memory on a 2011 T410 Thinkpad. It curerntly has 1x4gb of PC3-10600 DDR3 1333 SODIMM ram on-board under the keyboard.  I purchased the following Mushkin 1x 4g module at Canada Computers and it doesn't work. With the module it won't boot.  http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_309&item_id=076746 In the picture on the Canada Computers website there's 8 chips on each side whereas the actual module only has 4 chips on each side. I understand with 4 chips it's higher density, vs lower density with 8 chips per. The memory on board the T400 has 8 chips per side. Should this make a difference and is the lower density still available anywhere.  Can anyone recommend some memory that would work in this model. It's a Lenova Thinkpad T410 #2516CTO Also ... should I buy a pair of the same modules and replace the current module or can I just add the new module.  Thanks.

Answer:Memory Upgrade on Thinkpad T410

I would have expected the Mushkin memory to work.  Try just that one under the keyboard

Hi!Brief introduction: Skill level ultranewbComputer model Lenovo Thinkpad T410OS Windows 7/64bit Ok, heres the problem: I have recently discovered that my current graphics card is not capable of running newer games such as Battlefield 3. This is a problem. I would like to switch from my Intel(R) HD Graphics Card to a suprior piece of hardware, Clearly, I will need driver updates, I will need to know how to access the actual hardware location, I will need a compatible model to order, and I will need to be able to put everything back the way it was in case it doesnt work. Can anyone help me please? I know nothing about graphics cards or their drivers. If someone could link me to an apropriate graphics card and a driver to go with it, I would be greatly in his/her dept. Also: Will my computer even boot if it doesnt have the right software for the graphics card? Or am I going to switch it out and then have the screen come up blue or black? Thanks so verry much,Liam.

Answer:Graphics card upgrade T410

You will have to replace the mainboard with the one that has the Nvidia Optimus graphics.

Hi guys and/or girls, I am working on upgrading a business laptop which happens to be the Lenovo Thinkpad T410, now im putting an 250GB 850 Evo to replace the INSANELY SLOW HDD, however i am also upgrading the system from windows 7 and upgrading the RAM, now here is where i need help, I am going to be installing a 2x4GB kit of Corsair Vengence SODIMM, however I am unsure whether i should go for the DDR3 1600 kit or the DDR3L 2133 kit, now these are both the same price so the obvious pick would be the DDR3L due to the lower power draw and higher frequency, but the current memory installeld is only 1333, however the laptop is documented to work with 1600 so i know this isn't a problem, however I am unsure if it would even correctly downclock the 2133 or would it simply refuse to post, as well as this, would the laptop still attempt to send 1.5v to the memory or will it automatically do 1.35v as required by the DDR3L, oh how i do wish laptops all offered an "advanced" section within the BIOS which would allow me to tweak all of this stuff, however the only thing the bios lets me do with memory is set an extended mem test during boot which obviously is no help.  Thanks for your help

The camera works fine in Windows 8. I updated every driver to latest. Currently when using any software using camera, it just a gray area! How stupid? Think pad was so good in IBM period.

Answer:T410 camera is not working after update from Win8 to Win8.1

Hi KylinCheng,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

I'm really sorry to hear that you are not able to use webcam in your Lenovo T410 after upgrading to Windows 8.1.

Check if your camera is in normal or private mode. This could be happening because you might have set your camera in private mode.

Go into Lenovo Settings App on Metro view, and select camera.

There will be the options of Private and Normal.

Select Normal.

Also, in Settings > Permissions, make sure that Skype and other similar apps have permission to access the Webcam or Microphone.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Mithun.

Hi, I m an IT guy that has run out of ideas. I would like to ask you some questions about a (probably hardware realted) problem that i have. All started suddenly , from one day to another all usb ports, camera and bluetooth stoped working. I dont really care about the bluetooth and the camera, the only thing i care about are the usb ports. I 've checked them with a multimeter (only the pins that provide power) and the strange thing is that they do provide power. If i connect something like a usb flash drive , the led flashes (stays on , doesnt flickers) but nothing happens. I am sure that's not a drivers problem because the laptop doesnt even recognize them in UEFI nor CSM. My UEFI does not have an option to completely disable usb ports, only to change from usb 2 to 3 (no change at all). I m sure it's now a power problem, i ve reseted the bios even by the motherboard jumper. So the question is , what it may be? is it a motherboard malfuction ? Can it be fixed? Also , is there any possibility that for example the camera is faulty , or the camera cable , and shortcutting something? (i mean if i disconnect the camera and the bluetooth, is there any possibility that it will be fixed? ) thanks in advance.
p.s. also on the motherboard there isnt anything strange like a blown up resistor or something.
laptop - toshiba satellite c50-b-14h

thanks in advance

Answer:Bluetooth Camera message upon wake up from sleep

I just saw this post and would wonder, since Bluetooth is a short-range wireless, if it's trying to communicate to a cellphone using a previous Bluetooth connection?

Hi  i recently setup windows 8.1 on my G510 laptop and downloaded the drivers of windows 8.1 and begin to setup there weren't any problem until i try to setup Camera Driver and bluetooth Driver . these two drivers every time i try  install them it shows me  warning  message ( no appropriate driver to be installed ) even they are for windows 8.1 and there is unknown device in device manager called ( ACPI\VEN_VPC&DEV_2004 ) so plz any help for this problem  and thanks

Answer:Problem with Bluetooth and camera drivers in windows 8.1

hi ahmed4444,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

That device Showinf in your Device Manager ( ACPI\VEN_VPC&DEV_2004 ) is the Control for Power system.
 Lenovo Energy Management Driver

Im not too sure about the Bluetooth and Camera.
If you download the driver from support site.
This should create an extracted folder of the driver in Drive C: the drivers folder.
try opening That and look for the folders like Camera , Webcam , Bluetooth.  not sure how it will be named after the extraction.
Open Those folder and see if you can find the Setup.exe of the driver and run it Manually.

Let me know your findings
Regards
Solid Cruver

I purchased a brand new Elitebook X360 1030 G2with 32 bit windows 10. Just tried with a standart user and works witjh MS Hello. Loved it. Then I turned on laptop with another user. Tried HP Client Security for logging in. It looked nice but I realised there is no bluetooth. Also Hello was not working. Yes I read, HP Client Secuirty prevents Hello. So I gave up all setup and turned back to zero point without anything from HP Client security. Still no Bluetooth. It is not working.Still no MS Hello working..  Nobody understand what is going on. I do not want to ask that question HP Turkey because as always there will be NO HELP form them.  I already have more than 350 HP laptop and PCs, servers etc at the company I manage. Althought that, no single help? from HP.  Hope to find some help here in that forum.

Hi,

after the installation of:
01/03/10
BIOS Update
Toshiba OS independent 2.20-WIN World Wide
my qosmio x500-10v has problems with the bluetooth stack, and the camera.

The Bluetooth tool only alert: Bluetooth is not ready!.

Now i hope, that a newer version of the bios will fix these problems.

(sry 4 my bad english)

Jake

Answer:Qosmio X500-10U - camera and bluetooth issues

If BT is not ready be sure it is enabled properly.

Put WLAN switch to position ON (orange LED must be ON) and use FN+F8 key combination to enable BT module.

What is wrong with the webcam?
