I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: Lenovo Mobile Broadband Connection Driver for Windows 7 - ThinkPad x200 5NG

you will want to check whetner there is a physical card installed. the x200 does have the card slot, but that does not mean that wwan card is installed. and even then ,its also not confirmed whether you have the wwan antennas installed. you will want to check your windows device manager and make sure you have a 3g modem listed under network adapters. if you dont, the card is unlikely to have been installed physically.

Guys Has anyone else had this issue and I do apologise if this has already been flagged on another post. I know there is an ongoing issue with the WAN Miniport but I am not sure if this is related to my issue.I am doing a clean install of Windows 8, I have downloaded all the relevant drivers from the Lenovo Support site and applied windows updates. Device Manager keeps refreshing and dropping out the MbmLowExt device. Occasionally the H5321gw Mobile Broadband Device will appear. Any feedback/suggestions would be welcome.

I purchased a W530 with integrated mobile and have been trying to connect with various networks to no avail. I have a Type 2436-CTO S/N xxxxxxx 13/08 and Windows 8 came installed when I received. I have upgraded BIOS and everything that Lenovo solutions says I need to update.

The MEID is A1xxxxxxxxxxx. It came with an integrated Sierra Wireless MC8355-Gobi 3000 modem. I have downloaded an updated driver for Windows 8 for the MC8355. I have spoken with almost every Lenovo technical person as well as taken the computer to various network stores and so far no one can figure out why it won't connect to Verizon.

Verizon says I'm active and the computer error message says I am not active. Every tech has tried to look at the system by logging into my computer and no one can figure it out. The device manager says the MC8355 is working. Interesting when it was shipped to me it also had an AT&T sim card installed. After I had signed up with AT&T and one mo of paying for service they determined it would not work on their network. Finally someone told me to take the AT&T sim card out and it still will not connect.

Verizon tells me I do not need a sim card as I have the MC8355 but they can't tell me why I can't connect. Now I've paid for Verizon service for one month and still cannot connect. Everything else works fine with the W530. I've owned ThinkPads exclusively since the first one ever came out. I've never not been able to connect to mobil... Read more

Good day and welcome to the community.

The link you posted points to a driver listing support for the Edge E430 and E530 systems.
You may wish to visit the driver matrix for your T530 and have a look at the Windows 8 WWAN driver listed there. It has a newer version number and shows a release date last week.

Hope this helps.

Answer:Change service provider for the Mobile Broadband connection for Lenovo SL300 ?

hi, I am also having the same problem. Actually, they have the Telenor SIM card in it and if you need to change the service provider, you have to open the correct part and insert the new SIM. I'm moving to Denmark and would need to change the service provider. I will inform you if I manage to open and change the new service provider, btw, if you happen to do it, plz inform me. You can check how to open the WAN chip hatch here (I extraced these pages from SL300_hardware_maintenance_manual). However, we have to be sure if your WAN device is operator-locked (I mean locked to Telenor) or not? Tomorrow, I am going to call Lenovo Sweden.Message Edited by rakusson on 05-06-2009 03:15 AM

Hi there. I'm in the UK and bought an X200 about 6 months back with built-in 3G card. I used the included T-Mobile free month's trial until it came to an end. I am now using the laptop out and about more and am wondering what my options are - can I use any mobile broadband provider's SIM card or is it locked to T-mobile in some way? Looking at T-mobile, O2 websites, they only seem to offer USB dongles which seem a bit inelegant. Just spoke to a T-Mobile customer rep and she seemed to think you could get SIM cards only in stores. Any advice welcomed. Edit: just realised the trial was with Vodafone not T-Mobile. No wonder the T-Mobile rep was confused...

Hi,This  is a problem i have been suffering from with many of my clients (around 190)They all have Lenovo X200 /X200S  with built in mobile broad band which has stopped to work recently due to the latest Vodafone and ATT wireless WAN (HSPA)  Driver. I conntacted the local agent no one has any idea contacted lenovo representative in Norway and they have no IDEA also !!All of them are experts in passing the problem to somone else !!!  All these systems has windows XP pro with all the latest updates available My company is about to launch it's software for W7 and i strongly doubt i can recommend the new X201 as our standard new platform if every now and then the same problem Happens . Before it was BIOS and we had to downgrade to v2,06. Then Wifi adapter where we had to install the driver from intel and  not the one from lenovo and after an access connection update we had to go back to the driver from LENOVO!!! So PLEASE lenovo could someone look at this support reuest and tell us what the heck is wrong with the latest update from you ?? and how to fix it ???   RegardsMaris Support Dept.

You may get a partial answer here, but given the specific nature of your problem, which appears like it might be tied to some aspect of your local 3G service provision, you will really need local Lenovo resources involved.

So after updating to windows 8.1, I can no longer connect to AT&T mobile broadband.  The AT&T app recognizes my sim card, but Windows shows no service no matter where I am! (even tested next to an AT&T tower).  I have the latest drivers installed from the Lenovo driver page, Sierra Wireless MC7700 - Gobi 4000 Software for Windows 8.1 (64-bit).  When it installs though it says Serria Wireless EM7700 not MC7700. Anyone else have this issue? Next issue is I can no longer connect to my corporate wifi which is 802.1x PEAP ,certificate based MSCHP V2.  I can connect to other non PEAP wifis without issue.  So at work I'm tied to an ethernet USB adapter when not on my USB 3 hub.Any help for the above issues would be much appreciated! I have model #3698-4UU

Can someone confirm for me that ordering this will get me an Ericsson F3507G?  I have been told from our I.T. purchasing that it will be an Option card and he can get it cheaper and install himself.  I am trying to replicate a previously purchased unit  that is out in the field, for testing. Thanks

If you are configuring that in the online store, the "Integrated AT&T Mobile Broadband (Ericsson 3G with GPS)  [add $80.00]" will be the F3507G, unless there has been a recent change. Amazing if your IT guy can go through the purchasing cycle, install, and test, for less than that.

I just bought a Lenovo X200 from the Australian site. I believe this has a SIM-card slot but the WWAN module is not included, and I intend to buy the modul. Does anyone know whether the WWAN module for this ThinkPad X200 can be used with other ISP other than Vodavofone? Is it locked to Vodafone? I want to go to overseas and stay for a couple of months there, and use internet service from ISP of that country. Thanks.

Hi,I also bought the WWAN option for my x200 from Australia. I took out the vodafone sim that was provided and inserted the '3' sim. Worked perfectly (though I bypassed the wizard, as this tries to connect to vodafone). You probably could use it overseas, provided it is the same frequency (i'm not sure)

So I upgraded to Windows 10, everything works out, but I noticed from Matlab that the OpenGL support is only on the version of 1.1. I further pocked around , and found the graphics accelerator driver is from Microsoft and has some known issues (from Matlab). Then I downloaded the Intel Driver Update Utility to update the graphics driver, but nothing can be found there. Back to Windows 7, the Intel Driver works fine for me and gave OpenGL ~2.2 support. Does anyone knows better drivers in Windows 10 than the default Microsoft one? Thanks in advance.

Answer:Lenovo X200 Windows 8.1 Driver

Hi Tonino,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

PCI memory controller driver refers to Intel turbo memory driver. Normally, it comes along with the chipset driver. Try reinstalling the chipset drivers. Otherwise, run Think Vantage System Update which will automatically detect and download missing device drivers.

Hope this helps!

Mithun.

Hi, my company purchased x240s and the GOBI cards separately and of course they purchased the AT&T version and we use Verizon as our carrier. Now here is the thing, even with that branding from the tech specs on the Lenovo shop portal they look exactly the same. When I install the latest drivers for the GOBI card and Lenovo Access Connections I can get it to somewhat work in the beginning and then it stops working. I tried every conceivable way to get it to work all the time but it's a hit or miss until it permanently fails and the sim I use is from an x230 that also has a GOBI card. My question is does it really make a difference if it is branded as AT&T since the GOBI card does work at some point and if it doesn't matter am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help!

Hi, mauroreggio

If you navigate to Control Panel ? Device Manager, you should be able to see the listed network adapters in the computer. Can you post what these adapters are or take a screenshot of them? If a mobile broadband card is installed in your machine, it should show up there.

Best,

To activate WWAN in your Lenovo ThinkPad T440p, first you have to ensure that you have a WWAN card and WWAN antennas installed. WWAN upgradable models have the WWAN antennas installed from the factory these will be red and blue wires (the Wi-Fi are typically white, black and grey or just black and grey depending on model). If you have WWAN antennas installed from the factory, probably you need to purchase a compatible WWAN card and install it. If you have a WWAN card installed in your system, install Lenovo Mobile Broadband Activation which will guide you through the activation of mobile broadband.

Go to Lenovo Support site, enter MTM number of your device in quick path and get the system specifications. If you find any difficulties, please share the MTM of your device.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Mithun.

I recently got a Lenovo Thinkpad x200. I want to format it. How do I do that?

Answer:Formating a lenovo thinkpad x200

Press the Blue ThinkVantage Button the keyboard when the laptop boots up, and see whether that takes you to the recovery partition. If it does, then choose recovery to factory, which would wipe the hdd and restore the laptop to factory condition (in terms of OS and programs). If you are using aftermarket Windows 7 or Windows 8, you can format the hdd by deleting the existing partitions, and format the hdd when you install the OS.

Sigh.  Hopefully someone here can help me. Does anyone know the type model number for the Thinkpad x200 Ultrabase?? I'm trying to get a defective Thinkpad x200 ultrabase replaced because the USB ports stopped working.  Tested it with other USB devices, on other x200s, etc...no go. I tried going through Lenovo's <sarcasm> wonderful </sarcasm> tech support but for some strange reason they can not replace the part because they cannot find the model type in their system.   I sent them a 600DPI PDF of the back of the docking station to them and they said that they still couldn't find it in their system. This is a company laptop and it belongs to a vice president.  They want a proof of purchase (which I don't have because they are ordered through another department and to get that information it might take a week...at the earliest).  Why do they even have the serial number if they cannot connect it to anything in their system??? The worst part is that this is not the first time I've had issues replacing parts.  Every time it takes at least an hour and the parts NEVER come when they say that they do.  (sorry, once they did...bleeping miracle) I NEVER receive an email saying the part was sent or they are having issues, etc. WORST SYTEM EVER. I hope some high mucky-muck is reading this and gets pissed.  Their system is BROKEN and needs to be fixed. Thank you!

Most likely you're missing the internal broadband card. This can be purchased from Lenovo as an option.

I replaced a damaged hard drive on my Lenovo x200 with XP.How do I get the computer to boot again (install factory settings with XP)? I don't have any recovery disks...I backed up the data files, but I don't have an image of the drive. Please help.

Answer:Restore Lenovo X200 Thinkpad to Factory

well then you would need a recovery media, since you are probably out of warranty, this means you would need to buy a set from Lenovo. Also, you would need an external DVD player to do the recovery from these recovery discs.

You don't really need this software to use your WWAN card, in fact even you succeed to install it, it might prove unuseful to you (Lenovo Mobile Broadband Activation is an application for ThinkPad systems to support mobile broadband (3G/4G) activation for various service providers)(various providers not equal all providers). You could use Windows to manage the WWAN connection directly. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/use-mobile-broadband-to-connect-to-the-internethttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/mobile-broadband-from-start-to-finish

Hello, I'm thinking to buy ThinkPad Sierra Wireless EM7345 4G LTE Mobile Broadband FRU: 04X6014 for my ThinkPad X250. I?ve few questions, Pease suggest ...1. Is it really any good and practically beneficial?2. Can I use it on Fedora 27, How?s Linux support?3. X250 has two PCI Express M.2 card slot and one is already occupied by WLAN Card and other slot is available, Can I use empty slot for FRU-04X6014?4. Can I use both WLAN and WWAN simultaneously?5. What is the impact on battery (Windows and Linux)?6. Is AliExpress a good place to buy? Thankyou

Answer:Sierra Wireless EM7345 4G LTE Mobile Broadband FRU: 04X6014 for my ThinkPad X250

Regarding your questions:1) I personally use it and it's really good, as I don't want to use additional USB modem or WWAN wireless router.2) Can't say, as I don't use Fedora.3) There's a dedicated port for this module. Please make sure, that you have an antenna connectors for module and adapter for a SIM card. Moreover, instead of WWAN module, you can install there a m.2 2242 SSD disk.4) Both can be enabled and connected, but application will use one at time.5) I have an extended battery, so it's hard to tell. I guess it have a simmilar power usage as WLAN module (basing on Windows power utilization). Can't say about Fedora.6) It you don't want to have a problem with whitelist (it prevent system from booting, when unauthorized module is installed), then I look for module on eBay. Make sure, that photos explictly show FRU PN: 04X6014 on module's label. Models without it will not work.

Hello,

I already mentioned an issue concerning mobile broadband in this topic:
3G dial up connection properties changed/no automatic connect
and here
3G dial up connection properties changed/no automatic connect - Microsoft Answers

Now I have Windows 8 Pro RTM installed and still have the same issue.

I found the following website:
Engineering Windows 8 for mobile networks - Building Windows 8 - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

What I am looking for is my Huawei EM770W to pop up as:
and

and
But instead it just looks like:
And in the "Networks" charm I see a telephone icon next to the connection of which I think it is broadband. I can't even find that icon on Google.
I can only view the properties of the connection. That brings me to the desktop view and the standard Dial-Up settings.

The main issue is: I have HAD the Huawei EM770W work like that! It just doesn't do it anymore. Now I cannot set this connection to automatically connect. Basically: I cannot use the advantages for Mobile Broadband that Microsoft has built in Windows 8!

I would really appreciate some assistance here!

Windows 10 Help says that I should have a Mobile connection link under Network and Internet, I don't. By luck I managed to connect my dongle because Windows saw it as a drive. I now need to be able to use the Mobile link in order to set my connection to metered so that I don't download updates and over-run my allowance. Because Windows now sees my mobile connection as an Ethernet connection I can't set it to metered. How do I tell Windows to offer me a metered connection (I've tried and failed to edit the registry, mainly because I'm too dim to know what I'm doing). From not being offered a mobile connection there are a whole series of other problems which can wait for another day.

Lenovo Thinkpad X200, around 5 or 6 years old, used every day for past 4 years. Screen has started flickering. No black screen or white outs, just flickering very quickly/lightly, but very obvious.

Tried to check ribbon cable to screen and it seems ok. Started and restarted computer with battery in and out, checked PSU/plug with my spare set and both ok. Changed from 50hz to 60hz resolution and screen still flickers.

Have checked lenovo help site but caught no joy.

Does this sound like the screen needs replacing or the inverter needs replacing or is there something obvious I've missed ?

Apart from this screen flicker it works fine.

Answer:Solved: lenovo thinkpad x200 screen flicker

It sounds a bit as though the backlight is beginning to fail.

Does moving the screen back and forth make any difference. If so it may just be the connector to the motherboard that has worked loose and needs re-inserting.

I have a lenovo ideapad s10-3 I use internet with a wireless broadband modem plugged into the USB slot - it works in windows 7 pretty well. Is it possible to use a wireless broadband modem in the usb slot in the Quickstart OS? Would I need to get some different drivers somewhere and get them into the quickstart OS somehow? It is a huawei mobile brand modem. It seems to install its own drivers and software straight off itself when plugged into a windows system. I wonder if its possible to use it on a Linux system at all. I would love to have a built in modem, however from what I've seen it doesn't exist in mine, even though the sim slot accepts a card - it clicks in and everything. So - just gonna have to make to with the USB modem and see if it can work in the QS operating system. cheers, Adam.

I bought last week this Lenovo e330 (335493g).It worked fine for a week, but then mobile broadband stopped working. It showed in Network and Sharing center, disappeared for a while and show again. But didn't connect (same was in device manager, driver showed up for a while and then disappeared and showed again and so on).I did factory reset, after that device shows correctly in device manager and everything seems to me working, but I can't see it in Network and sharing center, nor connect anywhere with it..Lenovos Active Connections -app shows everything correctly, but again I can't connect. It says "Service provider not found", which is strange, since I have same provider on my mobile phone and it works just fine.. Any suggestions?

Hi, I hope this is the right forum. My XP machine can't connect to my usb mobile broadband. I have LAN network but the usb mobile broadband (usb dongle) is my back-up connection, so i need it to work.Brief history: I was infected by a trojan/virus which affected my LAN connectivity (dhcp issue). A good advisor/mod from this forum helped me out. (here)Now during the time i still had the infection, the mobile broadband is working alright. A few days after my issue was resolved, i tried the mobile broadband again and found that it's not working. The error i get when trying to connect is: "A connection to the remote computer cannot be established."I've already done:- uninstall the software that came with the usb dongle- remove the 3g modem from device manager (and it reinstalled on reboot)- reinstall the software- disable any firewall- checked another PC with the same running setup to compare. Under Network Connections -> Dial-up, it has another device called "3G Connection" aside from the "Huawei 3G Mobile Broadband." Not sure if i need to add this and how.I might just need to re-enable some settings? Someone please help me. TIA to the good-hearted soul.

Hello,
I've been looking into this subject for a couple of days now but I can't seem to find an answer to a problem we're experiencing at work. - I have
a feeling there might be a simple solution for this but i can't get quite put my finger on it.
Here goes:
We're testing a new Dell 2-in-1 device (Latitude 7350) that has a build in Mobile Broadband modem (Model: Dell Wireless 5810e Mobile Broadband).
After installing just Windows 8.1 Update 1 Enterprise Edition x64, with all the latest updates and enabling Mobile Broadband - that is, pressing 'Connect' and entering the PIN-code- it does manage the connections as we wish, as it should, as described by Mircosoft
? I?m happy about that.
Though, once we install our VPN software (Global Protect 2.2.1) and make a connection, a switch between sending data over Mobile Broadband and WiFi
does no longer happen

What happens is that once the VPN-tunnel is build over 3G/4G.. the data is kept being send over the Mobile Broadband connection, even if Windows has (also) connected to our WiFi.

We have to manually press "Rediscover network" on our VPN software -or 'Disconnect' at the Mobile Broadband - before the tunnel is rebuild and data is transferred over the WiFi network.
We assume that this is a Global Protect issue and have made a case at Palo Alto Networks, but we are looking for a temporary workaround.

I notice Windows does no longer ?Disconnect? the Mobile Broadband connection automatically when ... Read more

Answer:Manage Mobile Broadband connection with VPN

Working with Windows 10 now, I managed to resolve the issue by creating a profile for the mobile network broadband interface and selecting that it is a metered connection.
Without that the VPN software did not want to reconnect when our WiFi was in range and mobile broadband was no longer needed. Now it does.
I will double check this for Windows 8.1 in a few days

HI All,
I am having an odd issue with Mobile broadband properties.
I have two devices running windows 7 enterprise edition, my first device connects to 4G with no issues.
I am attaching the screen shot from device 1 which shows three tabs
Subscription,Profile,Security in which i am able to enter all the necessary details for 4G authentication
Device 1

While on second device it comes with a dialouge box shown below, and it fails to connect.
Device 2

when trying to enter the details and press continue, even though it comes up with a prompt shown above for device 1.It doesn't have the tab profile, and the connection fails.
I would like to know, how i can change the prompt for Device 2 so that it shows up like device 1 when i try to connect.
We can rule out the issues with
1)sim as i have tried multiple ones, all fails in device 2.
2)both are running same software build of win 7
3)All drivers are up to date + windows updates

Hope some one can help me out with this issue, if the above mentioned scenario is not clear please let me know.
so i can explain bit more further needed.

Cheers From Australia

Hello, I have a ThinkPad T420 (4236-WVJ), and it has a slot under its battery for SIM card but i don't know how to activate it. Answer:Lenovo T420, Mobile broadband activation

4236-WVJ does not have any WWAN card.  All ThinkPads have a SIM card slot, but to use WWAN you have to buy a WWAN-equipped ThinkPad.  You can contact the Lenovo service center in your country to find out your options for adding a WWAN card to your system.

Hi  I recently purchase a t510 4313CTO, serial number: R9-7vR00. I've plugged in my 3g SIM card but can't get mobile broadband. I have followed this link http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkVantage-Technologies/Configuring-Mobile-Broadband-with-Gobi-2000-ou... When I hit function + F5 I don't see an option for mobile broadband, I only get 802.11 and Bluetooth. It seems like my laptop has been built without the mobile broadband option. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks Rob.

Answer:Lenovo T510 - Missing Mobile Broadband

Hi and welcome to the forum!First off, your serial number shouldn't be in public, edit your post to remove it.Secondly, use the following link to see which parts were shipped with your T510, if there is no mention of WWAN card then probably your system wasn't ordered with one:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=/partslookup/partsLookup.vmYou can order one from lenovo though. WWAN requires three pieces of equipments, SIM, internal WWAN card and antennas, since I'm not sure whether antennas are built-in for WWAN in current thinkpads; therefore I would suggest checking this thing in the following document:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-74250.htmlHope it helps.

IP addressing is set to DHCP and all other computers and devices can successfully connect to the adhoc network, and they have access to internet. The problem begins when a guest computer begins to heavily use the internet, like when starts to download a file. I see the "Windows has detected an IP address conflict" error on the host computer, and the mobile broadband connection stops and won't work until I disconnect and reconnect it.

Any ideas about what's happening and how to fix it?

My Vaio Z51 has a built-in mobile WWAN (Qualcomm HS-USB), and it works with OneClick Internet.

I'd like to connect without using 3rd party software, and just use Windows 7's built-in WWAN connection manager.

I tried to follow this guide: Tips and solutions
But for some reason, the "Mobile Broadband Connection" does not show up in my Connect to a Network menu (from the tray icon), and I can't get to the "Enter PIN" step.

How can I either get it to show up, or to get Win7 to connect to WWAN directly?

TIA

Answer:Mobile broadband not showing in connection menu

Do you have the Qualcomm HS-USB connected to the computer via USB?

I wasn't sure where to ask this question, but since it kind of relates to networking, here goes. A friend of mine has Sprint mobile broadband using a USB-thingy to connect. He said he tried connecting after plugging in an ethernet cable attached to a switch or hub (not a router) and the modem would not connect. He said he got some kind of message (I don't remember the exact details). He decided to unplug the ethernet cable and try again; after that the modem worked as usual. Do these things have some kind of "feature" that won't allow them to function if a network connection is present? I tried searching for others with this problem and didn't come up with any mention of it any where.

Is there any app for windows 7 that allows me to share my Mobile Broadband connection with other computers using WIFI? i have the "3" mobile broadband with 21mbit /s and want to share it with my other computes using WIFI.

Answer:Sharing my Mobile Broadband connection with other computers - Any app for that?

I'm pretty sure windows has a built in option to do that. Unfortunately they keep moving things around in control panel and I don't use win7 myself so I can't tell you exactly what you need to select but it will probablly be somewhere in the network section of control panel.

Hi folks!I am using win7 on my e320 laptop and everything seems fine except one little thing and that would be setting up a SIM card to work.I tried starting Setup Mobile Broadband application in Thinkvantage Access Connections but it says "Please install 'Mobile Broadband Connect' application to proceed further". However, I was unable to find the requested application. Could someone please provide a link or something? Thank you!

We use wifi and have two laptops. The HP laptop stays connected fine but the Thinkpad keeps dropping out. It will say "connected" but also "no internet access". It usually will connect again if we unplug then plug back in the internet box (sometimes it doesn't) but I'm tired of going upstairs and bothering my landlady and also disconnecting my roommate's internet every time it disconnects, which happens frequently. Any help would be greatly appreciated  Also, the wifi has good connection, usually full bars.

I'm on my second thinkpad (previously had a thinkpad r51) and they've been great!  I'm having some difficulties with the mobil broadband connection via the pc card slot on my r500.  I've updated the firmware for the mobile broadband connection manager.  Internet will be fine for a few mins (sometimes hours) and then just stops loading completely.  I'd end up having to restart the computer and reconnect.  Any insight?  Thanks.

Just got a brand new T530. Because it was installed with Windows 7, I restored the system from the accompanying Windows 8 recovery discs - no problem there. But there is one device that doesn't work, the one named "ericsson H5321 gw mobile broadband network adapter". I have tried to download the driver manually from here: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=h5321%20gw%20mobile%20broadband%20network%20adapter%20driver%... It installs without a problem, but afterwards, the system still claims there is no driver installed. I've tried the update functions in the device manager, both from local resources and internet resources, but it doesn't locate any drivers. What can I do to resolve the problem???

Good day, I need assistance with a driver for the onboard 3g as the driver supplied by HP on the driver side is not working at all. I have tried the win 8.1 64bit driver as well but with no luck. Any suggestions as my client hates using a external dongle which does work but keeps on going missing in his laptop bag.

Answer:problems with 3 mobile broadband on lenovo S10e - screen resolution to low ???

Hi, I have the same problem (also with a Huawei E220 usb dongle) but with Tele2 that did not want to give any service. I then tried a friends dongle (same unit but from Telia) and got the same error message "To run this application, the screen resoluiton should not be less than 800*600" and neither Telia would give support. This problem (with less lines than 600) is appearing in other instalaltions as well... what can be done about it? Until now happy S10e user....

Hello!  Recently I installed the latest updates for my computer through the System Update program. Unfortunally it seems like the updater doesn't manage to install all the updates, and that are the drivers for the "Ericsson F3507g Mobile Broadband Minicard PC SC Port". I open it in "device management" (dont't know the translation), and find there are no drivers installed. So is it also for the "Ericsson ... GPS Port/Device Management".  Because of this I can no longer connect to WiFi. I have visited lenovos driver pages, and downloaded the requested driver, including the others needed, and installed them manually. The problems is that Ericcson driver keeps "rolling back" during installation after having paused at 100% (the same happened through System Update). It resets the installation, only leaving the message that it was interrupted.  I have never had this problem before, and I don't see why I suddenly would be without WiFi drivers. However I'm stuck, can't find any previous driver versions to install (nor roll back to an older driver as there is none).  Any help would be highly appreciated! Thanks Message Edited by tormhau on 06-18-2009 12:10 PM

Hi torumhau, and welcome to the Lenovo User Community! It will help the members help you if you post your product number and the OS you are using (don't post your serial number).  Your symptoms are confusing. You are having problems with your WWAN card driver installation, but the problem is that the WiFi card does not work?

hello, I tried installing the driver for the ericsson module, but the device doesn't appear in the Device Manger list after installation. thus, I canot use the 3g sim card I own, and it's kind of annoying. I saw that some users experienced the same problem, but never got a solution. I installed all the drivers I could find for windows 8.1, and it still doesn't want to work. maybe it's a driver conflict, maybe I did something wrong. anyway, I can't figure it out. did you experience the same issues? btw: I don't know if it has a WWAN card, or if it needs one, because I bought it refurbished.

New Lenovo T520 ThinkPad laptop running Win7 Pro, with Norton 2012.   Installation of T-Mobile Rocket 4G stick by ZTE fails.  During installation all five groups of drivers were indicated as being successfully installed:  HSPA+Modem, AT Port (COM5), Enumerator for Wireless Ethernet Adapter, Diagnostics Port (COM4), plus the T-Mobile Wireless Ethernet Adapter.  Then the message, "Your device is ready to use" displays.  However, when I open Connection Manager the "Connect" button is a faded green and unavailable.  Signal strength is good, up to 5 red bars (varying with floor and location), with a small red "x" indicating the device is not actually connected.  T-Mobile Connection Manager diagnostics indicate all is normal except "Upload" and "Download" failed.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled this device four times, with multiple boots after each.  The T520's integral wireless services were disabled first (even the Bluetooth) in an attempt to avoid conflicts with the T-Mobile Connection Manager.   ZTE actually recommends that any other connection managers be *uninstalled* before attempting to install the Rocket 4G but I'm reluctant to take that step with my Lenovo. The 4G stick was purchased when I had a previous laptop without WWAN capability and has worked fine.  I don't really need its 4G speed and could use the T520's integral 3G W... I have a Verizon Mobile Broadband USB760 Card which is connected to a Windows 7 Laptop. The mobile broadband device is shared with the local area connection on Internet Connection Sharing tab under properties of the mobile broadband device. The Ethernet cable is going to the WAN port of a Netgear WNR2000 wireless router. I have set the basic setting screen of the router webpage to the same ip addresses, dns servers, subnet masks, and gateway of the laptop. The ip address of the local area connection of the laptop is 169.254.25.143 and the subnet mask is 255.255.0.0. These settings are automatically acquired from the TCP/IP version 4 protocol. The WAN IP address for the router is 169.254.25.144 and the subnet mask is 255.255.0.0. The DNS server and the gateway setting of the router are both set to 169.254.25.143.

The problem that I am having is that a week ago it worked perfectly but now it does not work at all. I have not changed any settings on the router or the laptop. I have also checked to make sure the device was still shared with the local area connection. What I have noticed is that only www.google.com will load. Attempting to load another website will just say waiting for www.?.com. The ? is any websites that I attempt to load like live.com, xbox.com, yahoo.com, or facebook.com. Also, any webpage will load on the laptop which the mobile broadband device is connected to. So, I do not know if it is the Internet Connection Sharing service or the settings of the router.

Hi, I have a desktop pc on xp with a "three" mobile broadband connection. I am trying to share this internet connection with my ipod touch by following this guide:

http://geekandmoney.com/2009/03/3g-internet-connection-sharing-over-wifi-on-windows-xp/

I have managed to setup the wireless connection and my ipod will connect but the internet does not work.

There is a follow up to the guide explaining the problem i have:

http://geekandmoney.com/2009/08/internet-connection-sharing-tips/

The solution it suggests requires me to identify the ip address for the internet connection of my usb broadband modem, and assign my wireless network a similar ip. I cant find the ip for my usb modem though, can anyone tell me how I might go about this or suggest anything else that might be preventing the ipod from accessing the internet connection?

Any help appreciated.

Hi,
i update my tablet to windows 10 from 8.1, but all driver are not working well. The network, wifi, the buttons, the touchscreen and the audio. I tried all the driver in the Lenovo drivers webpage, but no one works even if they are for windows 10.
any ideas?

Answer:How can I get the driver on my Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2 working on Windows 10?

i've heard that thinkpad t2 doesn't handly w10 because of issue with the intel video driver, most drivers should work, go to lenovo page and install w8.1 drivers that maybe resolv the error, if not, go to windows update and see if there's any driver update, download and restart the lenovo.
if not, you should go back to 8.1 maybe it's for the best, also do you have the latest bios firmware? look for me in fb if you have any questions, i'm seba rodriguez.
