Lenovo Flex 15 - Driver updates

Question: Lenovo Flex 15 - Driver updates

Can someone from Lenovo confirm if updating the drivers on my Flex 15 from the Windows Device Manager, using the "automagic" (Install the software automatically) search and update facility actually find the lastest drivers for my notebook - or do I have to search through the Lenovo website for individual updates? Hopefully it's the former, but the device driver info on the Lenovo Support web pages left me a bit confused. thanks

Preferred Solution: Lenovo Flex 15 - Driver updates

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: Lenovo Flex 15 - Driver updates

The Automagic search in Windows is a WQHL driver to ensure you are not left driverless. It does not connect to Lenovo's servers to check for updates.

I personally go to the different vendor pages to get the latest drivers (Intel, nVidia, Realtek, etc), however, this is not for the average user.

To make it easier, don't worry too much about updating drivers. There's a great philosophy followed by farmers:

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Drivers are like that. Is there a specific driver issue I can help you with?

I am writing to ask that you please update support for Lenovo flex 3 1580for windows 10.This model is sold as 80R40008USall over the place, and many are getting this computer with windows 10 reinstalled. It does not make sense that Lenovo supports the older model processor found in the 1570 but not the 1580.Lenovo should stand behind their products even if sold on amazon (through prime directly from them new!).Otherwise it should have an ad that all products not bought at Lenovo are not supported. The laptop is quite buggy in the Windows 10 environment. A little research shows that this is quite common, and is not an issue with my particular unit. It is especially buggy with the display/graphics, and it went black some, or does not react well to switching to tablet mode and back. I contacted lenovo chat and the reply was that this model is not supported or tested with windows 10.  It has the newer i5 6200U in it ! I think you would agree that a laptop this new, should be clearly supported and worked on for drivers etc. to operate well with Windows 10.Just because it is sold elsewhere, and directly through Lenovo does not mean they should just forgo any support for it. What otyher company says, if you did not buy it directly from us, we will deny we know anything of the model number or support it.That is very unpleasant for Lenovo consumers. Please fix issues with windows 10 immediately. Thank you

I got a Lenovo Flex somewhere around 2/15 it was lightning fast. apps opened just as fast as I could click them and I jumped on the Windows 10 deal just as soon as I could. I loved windows 10 for the first two months but after a bad update that forced my computer into endless reboot loops for hours on end, I decided to go back to factory default settings and start over. The system would crash to blue screen constantly even if I wasn't doing anything. step away from the computer with nothing opened and come back and it had BSOD then tried to reboot and would land me in the BIOS settings menu. I researched online and found that it was most likely my graphics driver that was the cause of all this. but I couldn't get to safe mode to fix it. It eventually got so bad that it wouldn't even see the boot sector and I even tried to install Ubuntu Linux. That failed as well because once again, I couldn't see the boot sector or the hard drive which lead me to believe that it might be a hardware malfunction.
I was getting ready to ship it back on warranty when a friend told me to shutdown my machine and reboot while holding the 0 (zero) key. I did that and lo I got to my login screen where I promptly jumped over the safemode, uninstalled the graphics driver and rebooted my machine. It booted back up and acted normal except now, even though it would still boot up pretty quick, the rest of the computer is painfully slow.
I wondered if it might be a bad systems setting or something so I wa... Read more

First of all, in spite of the timing of this post (posting the same day that the update is becoming available for most people), this isn't Windows 10.1/115 (I forget the update's nickname) related (this computer hasn't updated yet). A few days ago, the trackpad stopped working. (It worked fine for about 3 months with Windows 10, and roughly a year with Windows 8.1)

I tried the device manager "uninstall device" thing, which often works. In this case, however, detect hardware did not detect the trackpad after uninstalling.
I've tried all drivers I can find, including the latest driver per Lenovo's website (plus the one Windows update installs, ironically newer than Lenovo's website
I've tried uninstalling the program, but it doesn't lead to any success after reinstalling later
The device does list itself in the trackpad/mouse properties panel in the systray, I don't know if that means it's being detected somewhere, or if it's because the driver is installed. It's an Alps pointing device, 8.201.1611.249
In System Information, then Components, then Problem Devices, the pointing devise shows up, as "Lenovo pointing device", with message "This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed."
On this device, the F6 key is the one that activates/deactivates the trackpad normally, but nothing happens, no feedback, and no magical fix. For comp... Read more

I recently updated to the Windwos 10 Fall Creators update (Build 1709, 16299.125), and as soon as I updated, the graphics driver failed and switched to the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I tried updating and rolling back the driver without success. My driver right now is at the latest version (10.18.10.4358). I already tried fixing this issue with Microsoft support but they couldn't find any solutions. Microsoft Support Link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/intel-hd-graphics-not-working-...

Got this notebook two days ago and tried to use the tablet mode. I realized that the touch screen wasn't working and went to check the device manager only to find out that the HID compliant touch screen driver is missing. While checking, I noticed that Wacom device driver also could not start as well (Code 10). Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? I really would like to use the tablet mode of this laptop instead of having to return it due to the touch screen not working.

So Lenovo seem to advise that driver updates come directly from the Lenovo website. Now, I don't know about you guys but for my laptop, most of the updates are several months old. Of course, not every driver actually needs constant updates but I'll give an example. My AMD graphics card (R7-M360) has driver updates available from both Lenovo and AMD. AMD offer the very latest Crimson ReLive version of their Radeon software while Lenovo's last graphics card update (for my laptop) was in March and not even Crimson. It seems rather strange that Lenovo are so many versions behind for several drivers so I ask you all: Is it the same for you and why is it so? Also, is it a good idea to use AMD or Lenovo's driver software?

I am currently using a Lenovo Flex 3 1470 and the keyboard for it stopped working and now I can't type any numbers or activate any function keys. I have spilled tea on my laptop and got it wet in the past so I am now looking to get my keyboard replaced.  I have managed to find some Flex 2 14 inch US keyboards on eBay for less than $20 that look exactly the same as the one on my laptop, but I can't be certain unless someone confirms.  Are the 2 keyboards the same?

I've been using conservation mode for my new (1 month) lenovo laptop every time I put the AC adapter in it. I thought that this was going to help me endure my battery life, but in the end I've stacked with the fact, that battery's stamina went much more lower. For example, I could use my laptop in a battery economy mode/conservation turned off for 5-6 hours, now it barely lasts 3 hrs with the same settings and the same pattern of usage. Just for record, 21 minute of watching a film costs my battery from 10-20% now, while before it was not an issue at all, I hardly can tell that it drained me more than 5%. Also, right now, while typing this, I've noticed, that behaviour of my percentage bar is also really strange: first it shows 75%, then, after 5 minutes, it showes 73%, without getting through 74%. And as a one big plus to that, my battery status says that my battery is normal, just normal, while before it was great or something like that. I find it strange because it is 1 month old notebook, as I mentioned earlyer. Now I am trying to recalibrate my battery, for the 3d time, hoping it would help me, but I really wish to hear your opinion about that, maybe there is something that I don't know about, something that can help me. P.S. It is 70% now, gezus

Just unboxed my Lenovo Flex 3 and so far I pretty much love it. My only problem is I cannot access the "Lenovo Settings" app on Windows 8.1. It asks if I want to send info back to the devs to help with the app but then it freezes and sends me back to the desktop. Is there a fix for this problem? Also, I am unsure how to change my preferences for my trackpad. I go to Control Panel, but there is no option for "Mouse" like I am used to to adjust my touch preferences. Any help on this too?  Thanks guys,Stephen

Hi everybody i hope you are all doing great. Laptop Details:Lenovo Y50-70 Laptop (Lenovo) 203784720hq512ssd960m16gb ram I made a clean install to my lenovo laptop so I lost some essential applications that came with my laptop. I installed almost all the drivers and apps at lenovo driver support download page without problems but i could not find some of lenovo apps that came in my laptop when i bought it and I really need them. The only one available in the driver download page were Lenovo energy manger. The most importants for me that i need are lenovo onekey recovery app and lenovo updates. For onekey recovery I only need the app, not the files to restore the whole partition, because the recovery partition is intact, I did not format it. So I only need the app that opens it. Th apps I want to get back are:1. Lenovo Onekey Recovery app - The one I am more interested in.2. "Lenovo Updates' (lenovo updates is the name of the app) The scond one im am more interested in.3. Lenovo Settings4. Lenovo companion If someone can guide me to where to download each of them, it would be great. I would need for windows 8.1 64 bit or windows 10. Thank You, I hope you can help me.

Answer:Where do I download Lenovo Y50 Onekey Recovery, Lenovo Settings. "Lenovo updates", Lenovo Companion?

Go to the Windows Store and do a search on "Lenovo."   You will find almost all the apps you need are available there.

Right, you mentioned it turned blue with a sad face, that is a Blue Screen of Death (or proper term is Kernel bugcheck) which indicates something has gone wrong.

If so,  what size does it need to be , 2.5" or something else? I would also like to upgrade the RAM from 8gb to 16gb. Hi,I just received my Lenovo Flex 20 today and i was very dissapointed to find out that wireless display was not supported. I thought it will be compatible as i checked the Graphics card and processor prior of buying it but unfortunately it doesnt have a compatible wireless card. I really need widi for my job as i want to present everything wirelessly on another compatible WIDI TV . I was wondering whether if i buy The INTEL 7260AC wireless card and upgrade the system if i will be able to use widi. Will the system accept this wireless card? And if yes will i then just be able to install WI-DI software and make it functional? I just wanted to add that i already tried another 2 x card (which i took out from my laptop - A Railink card made in 2010 and from an old HP MINI netbook - A Broadcom card) and they had been accepted by the lenovo flex 20. What are your thoughts then? Will INTEL 7260AC be accepted by Lenovo Flex 20? If yes will this be enough to enable widi after installing appropriate software? Thanks for your kind help!

Answer:LENOVO FLEX 20 WI-DI

Hi BLueArMy, welcome to the forum!

I don't know if you can install a Intel 7260AC wireless card in your Flex, however: if you are running Win 8.1 (update 1) you shouldn't need to upgrade the card. Win 8.1 has the ability to use Miracast, to wirelessly connect to your compatible TV.

I have the Lenovo A520, with a Realtek RTL8188CUS Wireless card, and it connects well with my Belkin SreenCast F7D4501 unit. I bought the Belkin ScreenCast to connect, via WiDi, my Y470 with Win 7. After I received the A520, and updated the  Win 8, to Win 8.1, I noticed that I had the "Connect To Another Wireless Device" in the charm bar Devices display. Just make sure you have the WiDi unit (or the setting in your TV) turned on, and the TV input is selected.

It may take you a little tweaking to get it all set up. IIRC on the first setup, my A520 needed to download some Windows updates during the process. After that, all of the remote display settings are under the Intel HD Graphics manager.

Let us all know how it goes.

Cheers

Question: Lenovo Flex 10

Problem: Press power button, turns on and no display. Press power button to turn off then press to turn on, doesn't turn on but power button light is flashing. Plug in the charger and turn the Flex 10 off and on again, still not on. Tapping the keyboard, touchpad hoping something happens, no. Give it a couple more seconds then it turns on. Lenovo loading sign comes up then goes to blue screen saying "collecting data because there was an error then will restart for you", restarts. "There was an error with loading Windows. Given two options; option 1: Choose a recovery setting or option 2: restart". Both options have been clicked before and nothing has happened. This time tried choosing option 1 again and the screen starts flickering and Flex 10 turns off. Flex 10 has been opened from the back to check if memory, HDD and all else is correctly in place.  Any solutions? Could the battery be the problem? Is it worth replacing it altogether? Thanks,Scott

Replacing is not that easys as with other laptops / tablett, as there are no service doors on the back. You might need to take off the whole back plate with '1000's of screws ;-)( But there is a related service manual around ).ref. to warranty it might depend on local rules, get them a call to verifiy

I've seen a few times where I have not used my Lenovo for a several minutes it will go into "sleep mode" and I have to hit the power button to open it again. But it is asking me to sign in. I never created a password and didn't think I need to do that.

In Sign In Options it has "Password.... Your account doesn't have a password. You must add a password before you can use the other sign-in options."
Whatever that means???? I never created a password and don't understand why it is asking me to "Sign In" when I turn in on from the Sleep mode.

Hi,This is my first post. I have just brought a Lenovo Flex 10 with a celeron n 2807 chip. I asked in the shop if they could do an ssd upgrade and they said they wouldn't recommend it because the celeron n2807 chip is not good enough to run an SSD internal flash drive. Would anyone recomened upgrading the interneral storage from the 5400rpm hard drive to an SSD?

Answer:Lenovo Flex 10 SSD upgrade

Pardon my lack of confidence in your shop, but that's a joke. SSDs will improve PC's right back to the beginning of the SATA offering. I have a NUC with the following Celeron:http://ark.intel.com/products/79052/Intel-Celeron-Processor-N2820-1M-Cache-up-to-2_39-GHzThere is a huge performance gain from running an SSD on these. The only factor in whether or not to get an SSD should be if the size within your budget will hold all your data.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to read this.I got a Lenovo Flex 2 15 a while ago. Over these three months I've tried to find information wether this laptop supports a stylus to draw with to begin with, and which models would those be.After searching in forums, sent pms to Lenovo support via Facebook and being utterly ignored, contacting support of styluses makers (Adonit for example) I always get the same copy pasted get X stylus for Ipad and X for *other lenovo models, like Yoga700, etc* which do not seem to list my model among them. Perhaps it is because of the year or because Lenovo Flex 2 is not being made anymore, which I noticed after getting it, sadly. So I ask once again... perhaps this time someone will know! Does the Lenovo Flex 2 15 support Wacom or any other brand styluses to draw on the screen with? If so, which is the model I should go for? Thank you again for any answer that you could provide.

Hi, I'm having some trouble setting up my new notebook to wake on lan from shutdown. It works great from sleep, and I've gone through all the settings multiple times, with no luck. In the bios, there are no power management settings available, but since it works from sleep, it should also be possible from shutdown, especially since the setting is enabled in the network adapter properties. Thanks for any and all suggestions to help me get this up and running. Been using this feature on all our PCs for many years.

Answer:Lenovo Flex 2-15 WOL from shutdown?

I had the same issue. After many hours of screwing around with it, it turned out to be my misinterpretation of a parameter on my Ethernet card power management tab.I ASSummed that it was logical to leave "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" unchecked while selecting the other two options - "allow this device to wake the computer", and  "only allow a magic packet to wake the computer".  In my defence in the attached image you'll see the magic packet option remains selected in either case! Just a little greyed out.... (insert huge sigh here)... lesson learned! Correct:   Incorrect:

I have a new Lenovo Flex 10 running Windows 8.1 64 bit. I also have a set of Creative Wireless t30 speakers. My lenovo initially connected to the speakers and it was fine but after the first time it won't find them again. I actually tried rebuilding the system as it was new and it wasn't a big problem. Same thing happened - connected first time and then won't connect again. There are updated drivers etc on the lenovo website but I don't want to start randomly installing updates if they are not related or not going to fix the problem. Anyone else having a problem or can suggest a way forward. Thanks.

Answer:Bluetooth on Lenovo Flex 10

hi xh28,

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.

I haven't seen this case on the Flex 10 but you may want to consider doing the following:

1. If you're trying to pair the Creative Wireless T30 speakers via Charms > PC & Devices (the Flex 10 can see the speakers butg won't connect), try to:
  - press the Windows key? +R, type control printers and press Enter. On the list of paired devices, check if you have the Creative Wireless T30 speakers on the list and remove it.

2. Open the Blueooth Settings (notification area > bluetooth tray icon) and ensure that the following settings are checked:
   - allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer
   - allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer
   - Link to picture
   - when finished, reset the Creative Wireless T30 speakers to the default settings (see this guide) and pair it using this guide.
   - after pairing the bluetooth speaker & successfuly setting it as the default playback device, try to disconnect it and pair it again (reboot if necessary)

HiI have a Lenovo flex 2 14 with mechanical hard drive. I bought an SSD to switch it but I encountered a problem opening the laptop.I followed the manual here:http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/lenovo_flex_2_14_flex_2_14d_flex_2_15_flex_2_15d_hmm... I started by removing the keyboard, all went well.then came the part where it said to remove the optical drive, having no optical drive (14 inch don?t have it) I just skipped this part, the next part was taking off the back panel, I took all the screw off and then started peeling the panel off starting at the front. The back side of the panel didn?t seem to go out.Instead of using more pressure I stopped because i realized maybe the 14 inch version has something similar to the optical drive removal that needs to be done before the back panel removal. the manual just list the optical drive removal as a step, without any clarification about the 14 inch version. Anyone has experience with opening up the 14 version and can help?

Answer:Opening lenovo flex 2 14

Hi, I had the same problem, and I had missed one screw under the keyboard that has a lenovo sticker on. Remove the sticker and you'll find the last screw  There are 3 screws in total under the keyboard.

Welcome to the Forums

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with display in your Lenovo flex 2 notebook.

As you have mentioned that the left side of the screen goes black and white, does this issue happens only on battery?

Also boot the system into safe mode and check for the issue.

Let us know the result.

Best regards,

Not sure whats going on with the website, I entered in my serial number to make sure I was getting the specific drivers.  But nearly all the pieces of hardware have two different drivers. I havent had to download any yet so far since I havent done too much.  But, when it came down to video card drivers it listed Nvidia drivers and when I tried to install it it said that the compatible hardware was not found. Shouldnt there be only one driver? I mean.. maybe multiple versions, but they are listed completely different so I would believe they are different drivers completely.

I am looking to get a decent stylus so I can take better notes using my Flex 4, but I have found that none of the active stylus on Amazon say that they work specifically for the Flex 4. I contacted support through web chat earlier and they informed me that if it says Lenovo Yoga 900, it should work. If it's marked for the Yoga 900s, would it still work? Does anyone happen to have a suggestion for a stylus that will be primarily used for taking notes and writing in general?

My Lenovo Flex won't respond at all when I try to wake it up from sleep mode. I've tried to unplug it and hold the power button down for 30 seconds, but the light just keeps flashing. It's been unplugged all day, so to help battery should be really low, but it's not turning off. Any ideas or suggestions on what to do? I go back to classes soon and I need it for my classes, so I really need it up and running asap.

Answer:Lenovo Flex Won't Wake Up

This seems to be a widespread issue with Lenovo laptops for a very long time, but there appears to be very little effort being taken by Lenovo support to provide its customers with the solution, or a document with the steps to resolve the issue. Holding the power button down for 30 seconds should (on nearly all laptops and desktop computers) forces a hard power off, but apparently that does not work on Lenovo Laptops when they gets stuck in this state. From what I can gather from various forums on the Internet, the only way to get the system booting again, sort of waiting until the battery dies, is to remove the rear cover, and unplug the battery, wait a minute or so, and and then pug it back in.   Some users also report that updating the video driver, and perhaps the BIOS, will resolve the issue, but Lenovo Support has chosen to remain silent (publicly anyway) on which one, if any, is an actual fix on any of the many forum posts regarding the error, which leads me to believe that they haven't a clue. You do not mention what exact model of Flex you have, so I cannot point you too any of the instructions online on how to remove your cover and unplug the battery, so you might post the model number (not the serial number) in the forum,  or open a ticket with Lenovo Support, although I sounds like their phone support has not been too much help for others.  Good Luck,

Hello! I bought a Lenovo Y50 UHD laptop about 3 weeks ago. So far I have but one problem (besides 48hz...), and that is that I can notice some keyboard flex around the keys "5" and "4" on the number pad and around "." and ",". Is there anything I can do to fix this or is there a way that something (customer service or computer techs like Geek Squad) that can fix this?

The other day my lenovo flex 2.14 (running on windows 10) went into what I can only assume was sleep mode: the power light was flashing (which the usermanuel says indicates sleep mode).
I read somewhere that taking the battery out and holding the power button for 30 seconds would help (something to do with draining charge or something). I couldn't get access ot the battery as I didn't have any screws so I took the charger out and tried the same thing, put the charge back in and hey presto it seemed to work.

Then the same thing happened again a few days later, but the same solution didn't seem to work. This time I managed to take the back off - but then didn't know where the battery was. I carried on pressing the power button and disconnected any wires that I could see (turns out these were the ones to the wireless card) and reconnected them. At some point the sleep button turned off and wouldn't turn on again, at this point I put the charger back in and the computer started working again.
Then , a few days later, the same thing happened AGAIN, this time I worked out where the battery, but couldn't work out how to disconnect it. While I was fiddling with it trying work out how to do so (I should point out that I never managed to disconnect it) the sleep light turned off and wouldn't turn on again. I plugged the charger in, still nothing would turn on or off, I screwed the battery back in place and HEY it turned on.

Answer:Lenovo Flex 2.14 not turning on!

I am a little concerned that you have been mucking about with all those cables without knowing what you are doing. Having had a quick look at the manual, I can't see how you get to the battery, but sometimes this is intentional. Certainly, it seems that power is getting to the battery, but, I suspect, not beyond that, which implies either that the battery is not making contact, or the on/off switch has become faulty. Either way, I am not sure that you can fix the problem and you may have to take it to your vendor to service.
NB In case you don't have it, you can download the manual here;

The display on my Lenovo flex 4 isn't working. It boots up fine. When I add a second screen though HDMI, the display appears on the second screen but not the flex screen. I've checked the screen share settings and it's on the duplicate screen setting. Also the brightness is turned up. The really strange thing (to me) is that the touch screen even works perfectly fine. When I touch it I see the response on the second screen.I've tried restarting, holding down the power button for 20 secs, and updating some drivers.I can make do with the second screen for now but any help would be greatly appreciated!! Don't have money for a repair at the time.

Hi there,Well, here it goes...i bought a lenovo flex 2-14 last year May for home use. I am the only person using it as my husband got his own. Also i use it very seldom and that too for short hours only. I am person who always prefers being organized.  Last Sunday, i had used my laptop to surf over internet. After finishing with my work, i shut down, closed the lcd pane and left it on the table. Neither me or my husband had touched it after that. I again went to it on last friday, and shocked to see that it was craked from near the camera to the right side of the lcd.. It had not fallen down, not banged against wall, put on power, left heavy object on it, and nothing. I dont want to pay for a product fault. And its stlll within warranty period. I haven't yet contact any service support person. Wll keep updated once, having talked with them.People make advanced technology with defects to earn continuously.

Hello, I just literally an hour ago purchased my Flex 2-15, and when I came home and tried to put in ANY of my USB mouses, the USB plug simply didn't fit it any USB 2.0 or 3.0 slot. I've looked online, and it seems that it has the average USB slot and nobody had this problem before? Should I return it, or?

Answer:Lenovo Flex 2-15 doesn't take USB

hi HumanLucifer,

Welcome to the Forums.

Can you try the following:
1. Turn off the machine, press the Novo button and select System Recovery.
    - Sample image

2. On the System Recovery menu, plug in the mouse and observe if it's worknig.

If the mouse is working, I recommend you proceed with the factory restore. Otherwise, if the mouse is still not working in the recovery environment then there's likely a problem with the USB port(s) and I recommend you contact lenovo (for service) or the place of purchase (if it's still possible to exchange the unit).

Hi guys, I have a Lenovo Flex 2-15, model name 20405,i3-4030U @ 1.9 GHz 6GB Ram etc. and was wondering if there's a M.2 NGFF on the motherboard of this laptop cause I want to use an SSD as a boot drive and my HDD as a mass storage. I don't really want to replace the HDD with a SSD though. I'm trying to buy this SDD. Can anyone give me any insight? I've been getting mixed information in some posts saying that some have m2 ports and some do not. I haven't opened my laptop yet. Thanks !

Hi all! I have this notebook since March, it is absolutely fantastic. But there is a very annoying problem: the fan noise. Each time I open an application or surfing on the web, the fan starts (most times only for few seconds): it seems that  as soon as the cpu reaches 20-30% of usare, the fan starts. Is there a solution? I have the last bios update, it seems that it is impossible to control the fan in any way. Thanks all.

I'm getting a new Lenovo Flex 2 15.The problem is that it comes only with 256GB SSD, which is not enough for my needs. My question is if there's a place inside to add also an HDD drive. Thanks!

Answer:Lenovo Flex 2 15 storage

It looks like you could replace the main drive with a larger 7mm drive, or you can add another NGFF SSD.http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/lenovo_flex_2_14_flex_2_14d_flex_2_15_flex_2_15d_hmm...

Answer:Lenovo Flex 14 Fn key problem

hi synes55

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

When you press the Power to turn it on start hitting the Fn+F2 and F2 only simultaneously.
It should get you to a bios settings
Go to the Configuration tab and look for the "Hotkey Mode" option Toggle that to Disable the hit F10 or Fn+F10 to save and Exit

It should switch the use of F keys to legacy

Hope this helps
Cheers!
