U530 LCD screen and glass digitizer replacement parts

Question: U530 LCD screen and glass digitizer replacement parts

I need to replace my screen and digitzer. My computer guy who has done screen repairs for me in the past says he can find the LCD for my U530, but he cannot located a glass digitzer for it. Does anyone have any ideas where I can purchase one? Will Lenova sell me one? I can't find anywhere to order this part from their website. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Mike

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Does anybody know where to get a replacement digitizer and glass for XPS 12 9250 4K? I don't know what happened to mine but it broke while I was using it. The screen stopped responding and I when I rebooted it I noticed a crack in the upper corner that continued to crack down to the lower opposite corner. I am looking for a replacement digitizer and glass and I am hoping that they are replaceable.

Answer:Replacement digitizer and glass for XPS 12 9250 4K

The touchscreen assemblies don't appear to be available from third parties - you'll need to contact Dell Spare Parts for a price.
Expect the entire top half of the system to need replacement - the assembly is a single, fused together unit.

I just wanted to express my frustation that my Yoga 13 screen has been broken for nearly 2 weeks now and I have received a severe run around from all parties at Lenovo.  Finally, today I received confirmation that they indeed have ZERO replacement screens and no idea when they will get more in!  This is really unacceptable customer service!  It is my work computer and I need a fix ASAP.  I think if they can't provide the necessary parts - they should be willing to offer a loaner until the parts arrive back in stock - or a discount to buy a new computer (which is apparently my only option right now!)  However, based on this horrible experience with Lenovo on a computer I've only had for 1 month...I am not exactly wanting to run out and buy another one from them.  I realize I should have purchased 'accidental coverage' but who knew that something barely falling on the edge of my computer would destroy the screen - clearly not made well....  And - why are they out of parts?  My guess is that this is happening to SO MANY customers that they can not keep up the demand.  This is really shameful. Below is the conversation I had with 'lenovo spare parts' after a week of trying to figure out 'who' was supposed to help me!  Also, I asked for a PHONE NUMBER to speak to someone regarding this situation and NO ONE ever provided the name/number of a manager that could help me.   Just wanted you all to beware of the current is... Answer:BEWARE: NO replacement parts for broken Yoga13 screen and NO ETA for these parts!

I understand your frustration with not having your Yoga for work use due to unavailable parts. I too depend on Lenovo technology for work needs, however I do plan ahead for situations like yours and make sure I make regular backups as well as have other computers I can use for business interactions if my primary device fails. It is the smart thing to do.

Hi guys, So I took my laptop out of my bag about a week ago and found this:http://imgur.com/HIRHJ(I took the photo today, I've been too busy to deal with the issue for the past week but I've played around with it now.) As you can see on the screen, there is a large crack across the top right (which I have no clue where it came from, considering I had nothing in my bag but the laptop and my bag was never impacted in any way). Most importantly, however, no image is displayed, which renders my laptop unusable as a laptop (and I desperately need it for uni, fortunately this past week was a break but now I am without a laptop to take notes in...) Plugging in the laptop to an external monitor works fine as expected, however, so does the digitizer pen. i.e. if I wave my pen above the broken screen, it appears to work perfectly on the duplicated external monitor, clicking and all. So, my guess is that all I need to do is replace the screen, right? According to the manual, http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/0a60175_04.pdf (where mine is 4294-CTO), the LCD panel I want is 04W1545. I've found one for $175 which is great, but when I asked if the place could also replace the screen for me, they said it would no longer be a tablet. They said they "think I might need to get the full screen + digitizer for $650 + installation" which is utterly ridiculous, considering that's nearly the price I paid for the laptop. What I wa... Answer:Screen replacement - digitizer support

replacing the Tablet LCD is a very expensive exercise, since there is also a digitizer layer involved. Try calling Lenovo warranty service, and ask about aftermarket parts sale, and specifically request the parts . But it won't be cheap, around the price that you have been quoted for the full repair. If you are worried about cost, then you should probably sell your current laptop for parts or as it is. And then get another X220t.

Aftermarket parts for the X220t screen assembly isn't widely available, so this drives up the price of available parts. From the picture, you got the X220i Tablet, which is not sold in Australia.

I dropped my laptop onto the floor and the touchscreen (the outer glass) is broken. I have looked at laptopscreen.com and it is out of stock. I also have looked at eBay, there is stock but it is tooooooo expnsive! It is nearly 2 to 3 times of the price of laptopscreen.com! How can I buy a digitizer? The acceptable price is less than 70 USD.

I opened my Y2Pro only to find my screen cracked on the left hand side. Other than no touch screen it works fine. From what I understand it's only the digitizer that is cracked. I found a replacement Lenovo digitizer but can't find instructions on how to fix it. Laptop repair 365 has a video on replacing the whole screen. I'm now seeing posts saying the digitizer can't be separated from the lcd...Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I dropped my Nokia Luma 1520 and it got a nice crack on the upper left corner with a couple hairline cracks going further down the phone. I would rather attempt to replace it myself than pay to send it in somewhere for repairs.
I've had this phone for only 1.5 weeks so I'm really not looking to pay $200 or so for repairs. The thing is, I don't know how to tell what screen parts need replacing, so if anyone could help I'd appreciate it. The screen is still working, have had no glitches of any kind on it yet, just the big ol' crack in the corner.
So my question is can I just get the glass replacement part?

I have recenty purchased hp pavillion x360 13 s194nr its front glass has been broken Touch functionality still works and the image seems fine behind the broken glass parts. Now I've asked some service centres in my country about parts, and they said that I would need to replace the whole front (LCD+Digitizer}. He said that your digitizer is so close to your lcd in removing the broken digitizer/glass there is 98% chance that your lcd will break. So how can I be sure of exactly what parts needs to be replaced?

The FRU's shown below are what I believe are the Lenovo part numbers of the item you need to buy.    For your FLex 20, they show two possible versions, so you would need to verify which version you have presently before buying a replacement.   I  found one source for the LG Version 888015672 at http://ecomhq.com/products/888015672-lenovo-ideacentre-flex-20-19-5-touch-module-lcd-screen?variant=...  so I would suggest you contact them for more information. The Hardware Maintenance Manaul has the instrution on how to replace, but Lenovo does not recommend that users replace them, and certianly not under warranty, which it sounds like it no longer applies. Lenovo Flex 20 All-In-One PC Hardware Maintenance Manualhttps://download.lenovo.com/consumer/desktop_pub/lenovo_flex_20_hmm_20130902.pdf Notes:FRUs that have a 1 or 2 in the CRU column are Customer Replaceable Units (CRUs). ? 1? identifies parts that are fairly simple to replace, requiring few or no tools. ? 2? identifies parts that are slightly more difficult to replace. ? Hi, recently I cracked my screen on my Lenovo Flex 2-15, the screen itself is perfectly fine, however the glass infront is cracked and the does screen doesn't work in most areas, therefore I'm assuming that I just need to fix the glass digitizer infront of the LCD, having looked online I can find the part I need quite easily, but am a bit concerned about fitting it as I can't find any tutorials, is it even possible to do? I'm guessing I remove the bezel at the bottom after having undone the screws, then undo the middle screw underneath that in order to flip over the screen?

I have a Thinkpad W500 40612HU (WSXGA+ LG screen). It has been a solid performer without any problems since I bought it in 2009; the extended warranty runs until 9/2013,  but I intend to use it well beyond that date (I can't afford a more recent equivalent W eries Thinkpad anyway). Before Christmas the screen started to go bonkers. Hi,  I've been using the Lenovo U530 for around a year now and the battery has started to die. I'm looking for any ideas on how I can replace this battery?  Thanks

Answer:U530 Battery Replacement

Hi Thejonathanma,

Welcome to the Forums.

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with the battery in your Lenovo U530 laptop.

As you have mentioned that the battery is about to die what is the battery backup you are getting as of now?

You can also set the battery into conservation mode, go to energy management and select the settings option.

Under setting you can find the conservation mode select and check for the battery backup. Changing into conservation mode can extend the battery life as this will charge the battery upto certain level, after that the system uses the power from adapter and stops charging the battery.

If still want to replace the battery then please visit the nearest authorised service center.

Click here to open a link where you can select the country and get the exact contact support number. I?m sure they will be a great help.

Hope this helps. Do post back if the issue persists.

Best regards,

Of course I'm another unfortunately guy that had hinge failure.  While hinges are available for purchase online and not too expensive, the back cover is not.  Apparantly when the hinge failed it broke the plastic mounting point on the LCD panel back cover that the hinge screws into.  This part (90204054 I believe) doesn't appear available online, and even if it was it seams like a rather expensive piece.  Anyone have any help in getting a replacement LCD back cover? Thank you for your assistance.

I pulled my ipod touch 3g out of my washed shorts yesterday, and when I pressed the lock key there were some blobs along with the sign telling me to connect it to itunes, and then it kept slowly flashing between the low battery sign and the apple sign, like it was turning off, but then it'd go back to the low bat sign. Now it stopped responding to the home and lock buttons and the screen is black. also the screen has a small crack in it that made the touch part of the screen stop responding to any touch about 3 weeks ago, but then about 3 days ago it started working fine again, and the wash has made the screen start to come up and separate from the ipod on the left side, where most of the crack is. I'm wondering if the ipod service Mission Repair (http://www.missionrepair.com/default.asp) will work for me, or any other replacement service, for that matter. Oh, and the low bet sign just flashed again w/ the apple this time and now its not responding again ( just happened again, and again, now its getting more and more frequent.

Hello all. My Laptop's screen is currently heavily cracked due to my own clumsiness though I've noticed that it is just the glass digitizer over the LCD. My issue is that I can't seem to find a straight up replacement part to swap over the old cracked glass. Any help finding one would brilliant. Failing that I've found the digitizer for a U350 which looks like it has identical dimensions; would it be possible to use this instead? Laptop is IdeaPad Z500 Touch as stated in the subject. Kind regards to all.

I have a T450s with a slight crack in the glass-protector. It is a model with the 1080p IPS touchscreen, with no plastic bezels: It is glass all over. The glass got a crack that I'd like to get fixed. The touch and screen is 100% functional, just the glass cracked. I haven't been able to find any good parts for changing the glass only. Is this even possible? I just want the cheapest possible solution here, I can do replacements myself, just need the correct parts: I don't really need the touch, just want the 1080p IPS panel to work nicely.Thanks.

I somehow cracked the glass surrounding my camera lens and flash. Does anyone know where to get a replacement, and how to install it? Otherwise, this phone is a paperweight.
I don't understand why companies are still using glass on phones. It looks good, sure, but there's virtually no durability.

Answer:Replacement Camera Lens Glass?

It helps if we know which phone you have. But if you google "camera replacement you will find a website and check there for the glass. And on youtube you will find the "How to ...".
They use glass because it's much more scratch resistance and transparent than plastic.

I have  a hp spectre x360 model 13-4005dx and its LCD digitizer is cracked. My lab top still has the warranty but the customer service told me it is not under warranty. When I search the web too many people have the same problem. does Hp has any plan to solve this issue? how I can replace the digitizer, I went trough the pdf that you uploaded but there was nothing about changing the lcd digitizer.

Answer:hp spectre x360 model 13-4005dx LCD digitizer replacement

Hi @Amir8, Welcome to the HP Forums! I understand from your posts that you are having an issue with your HP Spectre x360 - 13-4005dx Notebook and the cracked LCD screen.  The new Panel will come with a display panel cable, microphones, hinges, webcam, and wirelessantenna cables and transceivers if ordering from HP. Other companies should be including these parts. I can not confirm any thing other than what HP does. Here is a link to order HP Parts, if you need it. Just select your Country or Region first.  Please get back to me how this goes. If this post helps you to resolve the issue you can click the Thumbs up icon to show gratitude! Please click the Accept as Solution, to the right of the Thumbs up icon, if your issues is resolved.   Thanks.

I have a Thinkpad X1 that started with a hairline crack in the glass, which then spread to the entire screen.   I sent it to Lenovo after being told it was covered under warranty, and was then quoted $750 for the repair. Obviously I'm having it sent back.  I would have no problem replacing the screen myself, but I can't find it anywhere. The actual LCD underneath the glass is undamaged, but it appears that the LCD/Glass comes as one part,  and cannot be purchased separately. Lenovo lists the part (LCD Assembly) as 04W1768, which turns up very few results in a google search. .Lenovo does list it for sale for $450 or so, but it's out of stock. The rest of the online stores I've found just list an X1 13.3" screen (Not the part number) and show a stock picture and can't verify whether the glass is included.  Does anyone know where to find a replacement screen, or have any experience with this issue on an X1? I've spent hours searching, and this is the most difficult to find PC part I've ever encountered! Thanks, Peter

I have a X201 Tablet (Pen only)  Model 3093-A15 serial number starting 4Pxx Recently I noticed that the glass covering the screen had cracked, exposing some sharp edges, so I removed the whole glass (including the sticky plastic covering layer) from the LCD bezel. I'm assuming this is called the "Protection plate" by Lenovo? The screen and pen still work, but it's not really practical to use, so I'd like to get a new piece of glass to stick to the lcd bezel (or failing that just the new bezel with glass). However, I can't seem to find the part I need. From printed page 157 of the x201 tablet user guide at  http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/45n3683_04.pdf it seems to suggest I need one of these 3: 75Y443675Y477475Y4775 I checked images of the first 2 on google, but these don't have the right shaped bezel to take the protective glass. I can't find any picture of the third version, but it is listed as part "BEZEL, LCD PROTECT PLATE" in a few places, which makes me hopeful. Can anyone confirm that part 75Y4775 is a bezel WITH glass? Or provide an alternate part number for a bezel with glass for my model (or even just the p/n for the glass)? Appreciate your help if anyone can answer this - I've been looking for a while and I'm pretty stuck.

Answer:X201 Tablet protection plate glass replacement.

The parts you list are not for your machine. There is no glass and it is the wrong shape. You need an assembly that includes the bezel and the LCD panel. The glass cannot be replaced separately

Question: Replacement Parts

Well my girlfriend has put a large crack in her toshiba m70 case and the screen is now shot. I found a good dealer on Ebay for a replacement screen but I haven't been able to find a case for it (for some reason theres plenty of the lower halves of the case for sale just not the housing for the screen part), If anyone knows of a good site or dealer on Ebay... heck even used ones are fine.

Note: I'm in Canada in the Ottawa region.

Answer:Replacement Parts

where is the crack? and is the crack affecting the computer at all, if you can tell of course. It might be worth a try to call toshiba, and see if you can get a case, it might be quite a bit but you could try. And if the crack isn't doing anything to the computer, i.e. effecting performance, then I wouldn't worry too much, unless its a new computer or you're really into your stuff looking really clean new and shiny.

Question: Replacement parts

Hello, I would like to know if there is a possibility to get spare parts, namely a cpu cooler (or fan) and a keyboard (azerty) for the HP Pavilion DV7 2020eb laptop. Now, this isn't one of the most recent laptops but it functions for browsing and watching movies which is all we need it for so i wouldn't like to spend too much on these parts. Does HP offer this kind of support? Thanks in advance!

Question: Replacement parts

My PC has been fine for 2 and a half years now, I've never had a part overheat or stop working, but I still don't have any replacement parts. So I'm not looking for duplicates (especially since my motherboard is now out of stock and/ or prohibitively expensive), but upgraded parts still compatible with my current gpu and RAM, primarily a motherboard, as these seem to be the parts I've heard of shorting out the most. I don't need SLI or RAID, I just need something reliable that isn't huge and expensive. Hopefully if one piece has a problem it doesn't short out any others.

I think the rest of the parts are fine.

Answer:Replacement parts

It's going to be hard to recommend anything without knowing what you currently have. Having an extra power supply on hand would be a good idea. I've only lost one motherboard in the last 15 years so mine tend to last until they're replaced.

ThinkPad model 2373-7XU I need just two little screws that attach the handle on the hard drive.  The handle is used to remove the hard drive from the case.  Apparently those are very unique screws that need to be very low profile otherwise they stick up too far and the hard drive can't be reinserted back into the case... Where can I get those replacement parts??  The Lenovo site isn't very obvious where to inquire. Thanks in advance

- the difference in the two parts is basically just the supplier/manufacturer that Lenovo used.
- visit: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/detail.page?LegacyDocID=MIGR-50278 and towards the bottom, you'll see a section marked Order service part FRUs. as your system is under warranty, it looks like you should call and speak with Service about ordering/obtaining a keyboard.

Under a light and magnifying glass I used tweezers to expand the spring mechanism and examine the prongs used to hold the key to the chassis. As I suspected one of the prongs broke. I called tech support, they didn't have a way for me to order the replacement key and spring mechanism. Dear fellow forum members,I recently have had a terrible accident with my X220T which damaged the LCD, base assembly, palmrest, and bezel. With the sacrificing of many hours, I have come across many sellers who have sold repair parts. (Simply cannot fork the amount of cash the service depot is asking to repair my device) I have two questions... 1) Do these parts look as though they would work/function the same as the original OEM?  LCD: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lenovo-Thinkpad-X220-TABLET-12-5-LCD-SU6C-12W04AU-01X-LP125WH2-SL-B1-04W1545...Keyboard Bezel: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-IBM-Lenovo-Thinkpad-Tablet-X220-and-X220i-Keyboard-Bezel-Assembly-04W177...Base assembly: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-IBM-Lenovo-X220-X220T-tablet-base-cover-04W1786-/110826129718#ht_3160wt_...Palmrest: 2) Following the precise maintenance manual that was provided with the x220T, is it relatively easy to replace an LCD? (without any knowledge of replacing computers, but knowledge with using a screwdriver!) 3) Where can I buy an X220t compatible palmrest? 4) Considering that the total cost to fix all this would be around $500, should I just fork out $2000 to buy a new x230t?  Thank you all. Any useful feedback would be much appreciated in aiding the solution to my careless mistake.

Trying to boot in safe mode gets me a list of loaded drivers and then it just freezes, i've let it sit for 10 minutes waiting (supposed to take 30 seconds i hear) but nothing. I thought the memory might not be compatible with the board (which i forgot to check out before hand), and i found the specific model # doesnt appear on MSI's website, but there are identical part numbers except for the last two letters which are XL. I just thought about taking one of them out and trying to start up with just one but its to late for that. Anyone think that will work or have any other ideas? Oh and i am upgrading to windows 7 so i put the install disk in to try it as well and it froze on the loading screen as soon as the first red dot appeared. I also ran the memory test on the MSI boot menu and returned no errors, and i ran the memory test from the windows 7 boot disk but found no errors. Hi Folks,  I was a bit of dumbass over the summer and spilled a small amount of whiskey on my system and killed the keyboard; Not a huge deal as I usually leave the system hooked up to my tv and use a remote keyboard, and when I use it mobile, I can use the onscreen keyboard, although this last is a bit of a pain..  I've tried contacting encompass but they don't seem to sell replacement keyboards; does anyone happen to know where else actually sells replacement keyboards. Biggest problem seems to be that it's a standard Canadian/Bilingual keyboard. I'm able to find US keyboard replacements, but the layout is different so won't fit with the current top plate, and I'd much rather avoid have to replace the whole thing (20$ keyboard vs something like $160 for keyboard and top plate....)  Any help would be appreciated, but if I cant actually find something that should be a relatively easy part to replace, this will be my last Lenovo item unfortunately.Steph S.

Hello there!
(I'm new to this forum, so I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place.)

With the holidays coming up and Cyber Monday coming within a few days, I was hoping to get some help figuring out which parts on my computer to upgrade for a new gaming tower that I purchased recently. After I purchased the tower, I realized upon receiving it that some of my current parts would not be compatible with it. I haven't been able to use it since I got it in the mail and I thought now would be a good time to look into getting new parts that are compatible with it, mainly a new motherboard and (if necessary) processor. I'm not totally new to the experience of installing new computer components, but I do have a difficult time finding the right parts that will work with all my existing parts for a good and affordable price.

Anyway, the tower I purchased recently is the Phantom 410 by NZXT (https://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/95-phantom-410-mid-tower-case.html)

Here are the tech specs for the tower (which are also available on the link I posted earlier):

I spilled some coffee (with cream & sugar, of couse) on my keyboard. Popping off the keys and cleaning with rubbing alcohol didn't fix the keys not working (particularly 'enter' and 'backspace', which I cannot live without). I have already ordered a replacement keyboard.   My other problem is that the buttons below the trackpad for right/left click aren't working properly, either.  (sometimes it does a context-sensitive menu for a left click, and they are a bit sticky)  I can't find what part I need to replace for these.  Can anyone help?

I need a replacement motherboard for my IdeaCentre K330B.  When I go to support.lenovo.com and look up the parts for the machine, it shows them but none of them have prices or links, and all of them say, "servicable = no".  What does this mean?  I can't buy replacement parts?  Lenovo no longer stocks them?  Something else? Thanks in advance.

Answer:IdeaCentre K330B Replacement Parts

only found a secondhand one at 75 which is not worth it as you could buy a new mobo for cheaper

Hi! I'm wondering how/if I cand find a couple of small replacement parts for my T61: A screw has fallen out of the bottom of the machine and disappeared. And the protective plastic slide/sticker that covers the webcam has come off. The machine is still under warranty, if that matters. How should I go abotu getting replacements for these parts?

Answer:Where to find small replacement parts for T61?

Are you sure a screw fell out? Could it be one of the holes where a small amount of liquid will drip out if it spills onto the keyboard

HiDo any of you own the Antec Nine Hundred? As I'm looking to replace a couple of parts. The HDD Led I believe has come faulty, and I've been looking on google for other suggestions. Its the front panel connector switch with the Power, Reset ect. I believe that this must clip out when moving the top part of the case. And the replacement should clip into place.I just need to check this first.ThanksRob

Answer:Antec Nine Hundered Replacement Parts

LED's are supremely reliable.. I speak as an electronics tech.. why do you think it's faulty ? They are very easy to test to... 9 volt battery and resistor.. say 680 or 1k in value.

Failing that Is it in warranty ? If it is a problem it may be cheaper buying a spares or repair laptop taking its parts as a last resort.

Hi,It seems there is really nothing available when it comes to replacement parts for an e420s.  The lid on my laptop is really hacked up, and I would like to know if I could buy a replacement, possibly from lenovo directly. Do you guys think that if I wait a year or two, then parts will become available on ebay?  I know that parts have become more available for my dell 10v since I first bought it.  However, it seems the e420s is not a very popular laptop. Please help me out. Thanks

Answer:Replacement Parts for e420s (4401)

you should give warranty department a call and inquire with them about the possibility of purchasing the replacement part.

Regarding ebay, it is difficult to predict. But usually parts become available when there is a mass deployment of these hardware by some company, which may start selling them off when it comes to the EOL of these machines. Also, some private seller may sell their broken machines after their machine breaks.

I recently had an accident with my Helix screen and damaged the LCD ribbon cable. Everything works fine and if I hook up to a 2nd screen using the mini-HDMI port I can still use my Helix 3697-CTO and all its features. The only thing that fails is my LCD screen which means I'm not able to use my Helix as a table(which I never do) or a laptop without an extra monitor.  If I can find a replacement ribbon cable I may be able to fix everything without having to pay the $600 repair estimate. Is there any link online where I can order the cable that says LCD abd 1 MB, Btw,  thank you to all for the  help on my initial question and the link to the video for disassembling my Helix. Thanks,Bill

Bill,

Is there an FRU P/N on the cable? If so, you could try using it here:

Last week we had a nasty storm and it looks like my PC has been zapped.  I contacted insurance and they need will eventually need a parts list to price out a replacement.  This is tough to find because I bought this rig (Studio XPS 9100) back in 2010.  I have been unable to find any clear parts or replacement pricing information on the Dell website.  Can anyone help me out?
I would basically need the replacement price from the manufacturer (DELL) for the stock motherboard, CPU (i7-930), CPU fan and heatsink, power supply (525W), and hard drive (500gb 7200rpm).
Service Tag:  C97NMN1
***Everything in the machine is stock except for new RAM and an upgraded video card.  I still have receipts for those since i just upgraded them less than 6 months ago.***

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Wes

Hey guys,

I'm building a robot and I would like to use some of the parts I found in my scanner. I may also need the motherboard from my 8200 series HP scanner.

Anyone know where I might be able to purchase individual parts for this scanner?

Thanks.

Rag

Answer:Scanner motherboard and replacement parts.

You'd probably be better off buying a new (used) scanner (you'd probably have to get parts from HP - if there's nothing on ebay). Thats a pretty expensive scanner to be taking parts from. You might want to find a cheaper one off of ebay to take apart (im not sure what all you're doing with them, so it may or may not work).

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any idea where I could find a replacement display panel for my T400. Been looking through google but I can't say I've been able to find any references to a WXGA+ panel for the 2764CTO. I can't seem to be able to find the information on the lenovo web site as well. Thanks in advance, Jason.

Answer:Replacement parts for T400 2764CTO

Hi Jason, I assume this is the same 2764-CTO whose backlight seems to have died which you inquired about previously?  http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/T400-led-screen-failure-Help-needed/m-p/571... Have you determined with reasonable certainty that the problem lies with the LCD and not the system board? Have you tried hooking your laptop up to an external monitor? If it displays perfectly, then it's possible the issue is isolated to the LCD. However, it is still possible you have a blown fuse on the system board. I have a great source for Genuine Lenovo T400 LCD assemblies I can point you to. Check your 'New' messages at the top of this page.

Hello

My U500-1G0 needs a new top cover and bezel. Any ideas where to buy it online or in Dubai?

The color is white, sorry can't post pictures here

Answer:Satellite U500 - Need replacement parts

Hi buddy,

I think best place for original Toshiba spare parts is official authorized service provider because they are able to order all Toshiba parts so you should get in contact with the guys.

Here is a list of all ASPs so you can check where an ASP in Dubai is:

I hope it helps :)

Having trouble finding any replacement parts for this machine. Was on hold with Lenovo for about 20 minutes. The LCD and hinges need to be replaced. After disassembling the machine, I can not find the hinges with any part number I have searched for. I do not mind ordering these parts from Lenovo, but I was looking for a P/N and/or price directly from Lenovo on ordering them. Thanks,Jen

Hi all,

I have a Portege A100 PPA10A, it's pretty old and the cable connecting the Touchpad to the Mainboard is broken. Doesn anyone know the part number for this cable or know where I can obtain the part number?

I sent an email to a place called "Spare=parts Warehouse", but they had trouble finding the part

But if anyone knows for sure, that would be great.

Regards,

Widget

Answer:Portege A100 (PPA10A) - Where to get replacement parts?

Hi Widget,

To be honest I doubt that somebody here can tell you the part number from this cable. It?s only an user to user forum where you can talk with normal people like you and me.

In my opinion you should contact nearest authorized service provider in your country. On the Toshiba website you can find a list of them:
www.mytoshiba.com.au > Support > Find a Service Centre

Good luck! :)

Hi, I was wondering where I can order replacement parts for my thinkpad x250. I checked the shop on the lenovo website but they do not sell them. My internal battery is shot and the service center did not want to help me further than saying that I had to go back to the store which told me to contact the service center. So long story short I want to just buy one myself and put it in. Can anyone tell me where I can find parts? Thank you very much!

Answer:Internal battery replacement / Keyboard parts

Hi

Use this store. Type in the battery FRU. That's an official Lenovo parts store.
Another sources are ebay, amazon, aliexpress.. Of course, w/o any warranty from Lenovo.

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me.
I have been given a Toshiba Satellite C660-15r that has had the screen smashed and ripped off from the base so the hinges are snapped; does anyone know where i might be able to find some replacements?

I have tried checking eBay but can?t find the ones for this laptop.
Also i noticed that some wires run around the edge of the screen casing I?m guessing these are the wires for the Bluetooth and wireless card so they have been ripped apart also.
Would there be any where I can get a replacement for this also?

Many thanks for any help

Answer:Where can I find some replacement parts for Satellite C660-15R?

Best place where you can order it is authorized Toshiba service provider in your country.
To find individual hardware components for this new notebook model is pretty problematic.

Try to contact Toshiba service and ask for help.

Hello everyone, I've been looking around and can't seem to find a model number specifically, but I want to replace the battery on my V310-15ISK, so if anyone could advise where to get an original replacement battery, I'd appreciate it.Secondly, the back panel on my laptop is missing a few screws, so it's not fully attached to the laptop. I was replacing the wireless card and upgrading my RAM and I have misplaced 2 screws that hold the back panel on, so if anyone knows where to get those and what exact size they are, I'd be even happier. All replies will be appreciated. Thanks

Hello good fellas! I hope you will be able to help me out with my problem, because it drives me crazy!

The PC is mainly used by my parents (YouTube, Facebook, movies, etc.). The configuration was pretty slow (nothing was changed for 6 years or so), but was just fine for them. MSI motherboard with Intel? Pentium? Processor E2160 and 2GB of DDR2 RAM. Unfortunately, the motherboard has died (I guess so). So I thought it's time to build a quite-modern PC for them. I have left good parts (Samsung hard drive and Corsair power supply).

The "refreshed" PC configuartion is as follow ("+" indicates brand new part):
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H (+)
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 (+)
CPU cooling: provided with CPU (+)
Memory: GoodRam 2 x 4GB DDR3-1600 Dual Channel CL9 (+)

Power Supply: Corsair VX450W
Hard Drive: Samsung HD501LJ

and last:
Thermal paste: Arctic MX-2 1g (+)

After assembly, I have installed necessary drivers from the DVD (witch came with motherboard) and everything seemed to be OK. Unfortunately, after leaving PC for some time on idle, I got blue screen with error code 124. I had completly no idea, what could cause this problem. First thought was low CPU Vcore, which may be getting to low for stable work. CPUID HWMonitor (screenshot below) confirmed very low CPU Vcore values.

However, I have done a little more research (including sevenforums.com ) and downloaded BlueScreenView.exe, prime95.exe and RealTemp. I have read recommendatio... Read more

Welcome to SevenFourums,

So i have had a look at the Intel report:

Code:
CPU Frequency Test Passed with Warning!!!

The processor frequency could be affected by power management features. In order
to ensure the processor frequency is not affected by a power management setting,
enter BIOS, load defaults, and disable any 'Over-Clocking' or power
management features that may affect processor frequency. Also, set any
software applications which control power management features to default.
Prime 95 will stress your CPU more then The Intel test would 85 - 90 deg is far too high!

The Highest Temperature you CPU is able to reach without causing damage is: 72.72?CARK | Intel? Core? i5-4460 Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz)Lets try some troubleshooting: Can you Boot into the BIOS and set everything as default.
Can you look at RealTempGT and take a reading of the Temperature and post it on here Please
