Any bad or good Experience with XFX Rma ?How long will it take aprox ? i contacted XFX already and they told me to try a other card. but dont have one to borrow from friends. those stripes are enough to tell its the GPU not being 100% it happend and a GPU should not do that right ? also XFX told me to pay shipping and it can take to 1-2 months. but i heard people having it back and replaced in 1-3 weeks any one experience with that ? I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Alright so I had to get a replacement phone from verizon. They sent the same phone, I made sure everything was backed up on my sim card first but once I activated my new phone I noticed that 3 months worth of pictures were deleted. NOT all of them. It was from OCT until JAN (the day I activated the new phone). I accepted that I wouldn't get my pictures back. BUT I just had to get yet another replacement phone. Upon activating this one my pictures are now gone from OCT until now. ANY ideas? Verizon has no idea as they said my phone should automatically store all my data on my sim, so where is it? lol I'm only concerned because my kids Christmas and birthday pictures are now gone. help?

Answer:Droid pro deleted 3 months worth of pics

The Desktop was left over winter and failed to boot on return. It freezes on an ASUS screen - is this a Boot Screen? Have to pull the plug to shut down. Cannot view XP CD disk or Floppy Start-UP disk. Booting with F8 or Delete does not always enter CMOS setup or Safe Mode. It did ONCE boot up to Windows and seemed to work OK. I tried to run CHKDSK but it froze again on the ASUS screen during a normal Restart. New CMOS battery fitted but it made no difference. When I get into Safe Mode, the screen is almost illegible due to flicker as is the ASUS screen (at which it freezes). The exit options at the ASUS screen do not work - ie Tab and Alt F2. When I can get into CMOS / BIOS Set-UP the screen is stable and all seems correct. It does not recognise the XP CD on boot-up. It used to recognise the Start-up floppy and go into Safe + Command Prompt, but now it says it is the wrong disk.Any ideas on how to tackle this? Thanks in anticipationKen

Possible that the harddrive is not running at its normal speed, freezing up or slowing down. Or has quit.My computer took 20 min. to boot the other day.I was watching the HDD activity indicator light, and it would remain on, and not rapidly blinking.Mechanical devices do have problems.Harddrive manufacturers have software for download for testing HDD.--------------------------------------------------------Mostly on Desktop computers----DUST collects inside computers, and can cause hardwaredamage, overheating, faulty fans, faulty drivesIs yours clean.????http://www.makeitsimple.com/project...^^^ Some pictures ^^^

I bought a brand new Lenovo Thinkpad T460S in Nov 2016. This is supposed to be their premium business laptop range. I uses it daily, simple computer work. Lately it starts to have problem hibernating and waking from sleep/hibernation. Yesterday the steel left hinge suddenly broke. I contacted the Lenovo Support today and they replied : The three year international Warranty does not cover the hinges. It's like you buy a new car, then the hinge of your drive breaks and it's not covered by warranty? What kind of logic is that? They want to charge me for the repair. I am getting a quote from them, this is probably the last Thinkpad I will ever buy from Lenovo! I am getting a quote from them. I wonder if we can get the part myself and attempt a self repair. But this is deeply disappointing!

Sorry for the delay in getting to your problem. First thing is to see what we're up against. Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop. This will only scan your computer. I like to know what will be removed before it is removed. Just cautious that way.Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As AdministratorThe tool will start to update the database, please wait a bit.Click on I agree button.Click on the Scan button.AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete. After the scan has finished, click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report). The contents of the log file may be confusing. Unless you see a program name that you know should not be removed, don't worry about it. If you see an entry you want to keep, let me know about it.Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.

I update and save quite a few files each day, and I can see in File History that there are many saved versions for these files.
This would fill up my backup drive fairly quickly, and therefore, I need to reduce 'Keep saved versions' from the default of 'forever' to about 3 months.  But does this mean that all files older than 3 months will be deleted my File History backup?
What happens to all my files that have only ever been saved once, but are older than 3 months?  Are these retained in File History or deleted?
The forums on File History do no make this very clear.

I purchased said unit Sept. last year and within a few months the battery started discharging for no reason I could see. Battery returned to Lenovo, tested and a new battery sent out (old one apparently kaput). I thought the problem was solved until a few days ago when... Battery starts discharging again for no reason I can see. Laptop eventually went into hibernation. Unplugged charger, plugged back in, switched on then powered up the laptop and the battery started charging. This sequence of events was repeated 3 times in 1 week, until yesterday when powering up the laptop failed. Took the battery out and tried laptop on charger only. Nothing. Put battery back in and tried to power up - then noticed battery indicator gave 3 orange flashes 1 second apart before stopping. Did the battery discharge thing (pressing in the power button etc.). Still nothing. The unit seems to have failed completely. Can someone tell my what I might be dealing with here - a failed motherboard? Yet again I'm going to have to send this laptop back for repair, and it's been nothing short of a nightmare because I rely on it to do work. I've never experienced something like this before with a purchased laptop and I suspect the original battery problem was caused by a fault inside the laptop. As the machine is still within warranty can I request a new machine or a full refund because I simply don't want to use something which may be inherently unstable? Looking at the views ... Hi guys. I am plannig to upgrade my graphics card. Initially I was set on buying the GTX 650 2 GB DDR5 as I have always used Nvidia cards. But searching the net, I saw that the Radeon HD 7770 has a higher benchmark. So now I am having second thoughts. Should I go for the 1 GB Radeon card or the 2 GB GTX card? The are almost in the same price range. Is the difference of 1 GB memory going to be too great a factor? And how regularly does AMD update its drivers?
Thanks in advance.

N.B. The present power supply of my PC is not a factor. I will be changing that too.

Answer:Radeon HD 7770 1GB or GTX 650 2GB

HD 7770 seems to be a little faster than the GTX 650, but the Nvidia card has got 2GB GDDR5. Also Nvidia supports PhysX, has a better 3D vision, has got better drivers and they are updated very often.

I hate AMD cards because I owned a few of them and ALL of them gave me problems (9600PRO AGP, HD 3450 AGP, X1650SE, HD 5670, HD 4870x2).

If you can, go for a GTX 650 Ti... If you can't, go for the GTX 650... Also 2GB of GDDR5 memory are really better than 1GB, especially if you use high resolutions and high settings in games. 1GB are not enough to run some games decently...

Question: Radeon HD 7770

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 11201-00-20G Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

I'm considering buying two of those to crossfire in my PC. Would it be worth it? How much of a performance increase could I expect to see over my HD 4890?

Answer:Radeon HD 7770

Drivers are a problem with the 7xxx series right now.....As for performance that will be harder to judge since the cards are so far apart in generations....I'll say once the drivers are mature one 7770 will probably be roughly equal to the 4890.

I'll say as of "NOW" the 4890 will probably be better than both cards, due to the driver problems.....

In a short time however it will be more than worth it

The battery in my first gen S10 died after about 7 months. Fortunately, I was still well within my warranty so Lenovo held up their end and replaced it. However, after about 8 months that second battery too no longer holds a charge and my original warranty has since expired. Phone support reiterated as much and denied any help.  This leads me to ask, shouldn't the second battery carry with it a full one year warranty? How can Lenovo not stand by a battery that dies in less than a year? This seems like more than just bad luck and has me questioning whether I will purchase another Lenovo product in the future.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I want to get the XFX Radeon HD 7770 graphics card (full info below) with 2 DVI, 1 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort, but I need to know if It can support 3 monitors hooked up simultaneously. I don't want to use any of that Eyefinity stuff, just have 3 displays. One monitor has DVI, one has HDMI or DVI, and one is VGA (I will get a converter), so will they work? Also, with the 3rd monitor, will a VGA to Displayport/DVI/HDMI work for using 3 displays, or do I have to have one of those annoying active converter things for it. Thank you ahead of time!

(XFX FX-777A-ZDFV AMD Radeon Double D HD 7770 Video Card - 1GB, DDR5, PCI Express 3.0, DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort, CrossFire, DirectX 11)

Answer:3+ Monitors Radeon 7770?

That Eyefinity stuff is the 3+ monitor support.

You have to use the Display for one monitor and any two other ports for the other two monitors. You can put the VGA monitor on an Active Display port adapter.

I am planning on getting a video card(s) soon but don't know enough to really decide what is the best for me. I plan on keeping it for at least 2-3yrs so I don't mind paying a "little" more hence the 7970 option. I made my choice of the cards in the title based primarily on price and my PSU output. I have an antec hcg-750 PSU which should comfortably run the above cards according to several PSU calculators (rest of my components in sig). I know the drivers for ATI sucks now but obviously it will be improved. But from a performance standpoint, how much does a 2nd card really add and if the 7970 is much better, by how much? worth the price premium? I have a dual monitor setup but only plan on gaming on one but might extend to 3-4monitors in the future (office/wrk stuff only) O and although price diff between 560/560 ti/560 ti 448 core are minimal the power consumption isnt, any ideas there? Hope to hear from the community soon. thanks!

Answer:2x 560 ti's or 2x 7770's or 1x 7970?? Suggestions anyone?

The driver issues will be fixed soon....A single 7970 will leave the option to add a second card later, also that 3 gig frame buffer might come in handy at a later date.....

What are you using right now?

Mature drivers are usually worth 10-20%, a second card in theory is doubles the performance, but you mileage may vary

It will handle it but your games won't be maxed out they will be on high settings or medium more resolution the more GPU is needed but I would think you should be ok and won't notice much of a severe dip in FPS

Hey Guys,

Hoping someone can help me with something.

I've got a HD 7770 graphics card and I'm wanting to hook up 3 monitors to it.

What I've done is got 1 hooked with HDMI and 2 using mini dp to dvi adapters.

All monitors seem to get picked up in both windows screen resolution area and CCC however it won't let me extend desktop to all 3. In windows it keeps saying unable to save.

In CCC I can only select 2 monitors. I've updated drivers and everything.

Any advice? It would be greatly appreciated I've been trying for 3 days to get it working.

Thanks for your help

Regards

Danny

Answer:HD-7770 with 3 monitors - just won't work

I believe the third monitor must have an active adapter in order to function properly.
Two monitors will work well with your every day cables, however, you will need the adapter I mentioned above for eyefinity to work properly.

So I recently bought a Radeon HD 7770 card, I dont know much about computers but I installed it myself, innitially the computer would load but everything would be blank except for Start Menu (not even clock would load), so I took out the card, spent a whole bottle of compressed air to take out any dust, tested my old card to make sure it was not something else on my system, and put the card back in.
I managed to install latest drivers, here is a pic of what it looks like:
click here some reason everything looks kinda blurry.... it wont let me change resolution past 1360x768, tried playing some games font blurriness persisted. Also after playing for a while at max, I was able to play with no lag, but it either make the game lock-up or with Witcher 1 it just completely restarted my computer. I dont think its PSU problems, because otherwise it would had crashed on my previous card too, with the old card if I tried to play games on max I would just lag, with this card it just locks-up....
It was supossed to be an upgrade and now I got an unusable system ;_;
Did I do something wrong? I made sure that I have right drivers, btw I unistalled the old drivers from the previous card using the "Unistall a program" application....
Any help?

I intend to run a Sapphire HD7770 GHz edition OC, alongside a i5 3570K.
will this be a bottleneck? I want to run games such as skyrim or MW3 at medium/high graphics.

here's the rest of the parts:

4GB (2x2gb) Kingston 1600MHz RAM (will be adding a second set soon)
Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200 RPM (will be adding another one to run in RAID 0)
Corsair HX 650 (will possibly be adding a second HD7770 to run in CrossFireX)
Coolermaster Hyper TX3-EVO, in push-pull configuration (will possibly be upgrading to Hyper 612)
ASRock Z77 Pro 3 Motherboard
Corsair Carbide 400r Case

cheers for any feedback

That setup should be able to play those games pretty well unless you're playing multi screen or on a 30". There will always be a bottleneck (it's usually your wallet) and in this case your processor would be able to supply a faster video card, but or the games you mention it should be no problem. If you start playing on high settings with anti-aliasing you might start seeing a bit of a performance issue.

Hi, i just got a new Psu for my computer from my dad who got it from his job becouse they didnt need it, unfortunatly i now figured that its a pretty crappy psu.. With 2 12V rails 1 for the motherboard 15Amp and 1 for graphics cards 18Amps, I whant to upgrade my Gpu from a Geforce Gt 430 from asus to an Radeon 7770
But The Radeon 7770 says on a Gpu power requirement list that it needs a minimum 500W psu with 19Amps,
What happens if i just dont care and uses it with an 18amp psu insead?
And second, Lets say i run games like farming simulator 2013 at maybe 20 fps at maximum with my Gforce Gt 430 and tripple core AMD phenom 2.4Ghz, 4Gb ddr2 Ram. will i get a much higher fps with the radeon 7770 or will the cpu bottleneck too much?

Answer:Radeon 7770 For 500W +12V 18Amp Psu?

You've already been advised in your other thread that the PSU you just received is marginal at best. The last component you want to skimp on is the PSU. Even the best PSUs should not be pushed to their limits and the one you have is not even close to being one of the best. You will be risking damaging or destroying your other components—CPU, MOBO, GPU—by using an inferior and underpowered PSU.

Hello, I recently bought the AMD Radeon HD 7770 2GB GDDR5 from Asus, as my old Intel HD integrated GPU simply couldn't handle the more modern games I wanted to play. Of course I did background research and I did find out that my power supply couldn't handle the new GPU and its power requirements, so I also bought a CX500 Corsair power supply (500W).

The process of removing the old power supply and replacing it with the new one was smooth and went without a hitch and I had shortly installed both the power supply and the GPU. I remembered to uninstall the old Intel drivers and the new AMD drivers installed automatically when I turned the PC on.

With all this out of the way, I went on Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (bought via Steam) and it ran wonderfully with a very good frame-rate (DSCFix was installed at this point). For about a week the game ran fine, however later I went on and was rather surprised when after not even 5 minutes of play, the game froze. To be more precise my monitor display went black (with some barely perceivable grey stripes running vertically down the whole display). I could still hear audio however. The only way to deal with this was to turn the computer off at the wall, as I could no longer return to the desktop and turn the computer off manually. After this, I went on the game again and it ran smoothly again, leading me to believe it was simply an odd occurrence. Unfortunately, now these crashes have become much more frequent and I can... For those who can't get the drivers to install, here is what I did, to start, I download the newest windows 7 driver and saved it to my desktop, using 7zip, I extracted the driver to a folder that I also put on my desktop, just to make it easy to find. Next I got into device manager, and went to display devices, which was listed as microsoft display adapter I think. And clicked update driver, and browsed to the folder where I extracted the contents of the driver package that I downloaded, it identified my 7770 and installed the driver. Now its all good

I ordered my new PC. The graphics card is the AMD Radeon 7770 (1Ghz Edition). I have a 500W power supply (500W Corsair Builder Series 500CX 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply ) and the card only requires a 450W. I was wondering if 500W would be good enough. Friends who have really good gaming setups said that a 600W minimum would do the job.

The link to the power supply is listed below with the graphics card too. I am new to this forum, so I would appreciate your feedback

Answer:Radeon 7770 (1 Ghz Edition) low powersupply?

AMD recommends a 500 watt for a single card, and 600 watt for dual cards. The card in by itself under full load uses about 100 watts, which matches the 100 watt jump from single to dual cards. You should be fine with your Corsair CX500 although ideally you'd be using the Gaming or Enthusiast series rather than the more basic Builder series.

Hey guys,
I recently purchased a new HD Radeon 7770 and a new PSU (520W). I've had nothing but problems since installing the new parts... I've just recovered from a random HDD wipe. So after reinstalling all my games and Windows 7 itself I thought I was going to be trouble free. This is not the case at all

Here's a list of problems I've encountered with this new card...

DiRT 3:Showdown- This game runs perfectly except for a black box about 1 inch around all sides of the screen that surrounds the game and wont let it go into fullscreen.

WoW, Arma II, Alan Wake, Batman Arkham City: They all run perfectly for about 10 minutes, sometimes longer (Except for Arma II: DayZ MOD which is still in BETA and doesnt run very well at all with my card ). I usually end up with a complete lockup of the screen and then my display driver crashes. On rare occasions the audio/video freeze up completely, the only solution being a hard reset of the computer.

Netflix: Sometimes Netflix will freeze with a lot of purple coloured squares covering the screen and then the driver stops responding.

If anyone has any solutions to my problems I will be forever in your debt... I just cant figure out what's wrong and it's really frustrating me at this point My old card was a GeForce 210... so this was supposed to be a HUGE upgrade but now I'm thinking I might go back to it because of all the problems.

Thanks in advance!

this is starting to get on my nerves=/
a friend recently gave me his Sapphire Radeon 7770 OC Vapor-X

i installed the graphics card, turned on the computer
the resolution was horrible but i expected this, but the
colors were also extremely weird...

anyways i went to install the drivers, which was kinda hard
i had to tab tab tab and guess where Next or Install was.
was able to get in installed, but as soon as i restarted i
got the hypertransport sync flood error=/

somehow i came across that a CMOS reset might work, i
did that and reset bios settings to Default. the computer
started with the new graphics card, but then i go to install
the driver and the same thing happened again HTSFE=/

i heard about it being over clocking issue but i never overclocked
aynything, everything is on Default Settings in bios.
thats all that i can think of right now, if i missed anything let me know
or ask me

i have Phenom II x4 955 BE
Biostar A880GU3 MOBO
Corsair xms3 4gb(1 stick)
ultra 500watt atx power supply
i have the stock cpu cooler...

also after i installed the graphics card and i started up
the computer, i noticed that the hardware manager screen
that comes up for a second is in a different language now??
kinda weird idk if that means anything, but thought id bring it
up cause i thought it was odd...

but i installed my old graphics card back and everything is ok..

pls help this is kinda annoying! any help is greatly appreciated

Answer:After install radeon 7770 get HTSFE

Just by looking at your post, it sounds like your friend may have flashed GFX card wrong or stupidly.
I suggest you call him up and ask if there is any remaining warrenty support.
Sapphire Technology Web Site

If the card doesn't have any warrenty support, if you have some money or expecting some soon.

EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card - Newegg.com
This will do and it takes 400watts only, if I didn't need a case soon I buy one soon.
That card trumps the radeon 7770 sapphire oc.

If any don't bother with the gfx card, sounds like the thing has had it. :/

Radeon HD 7770 Graphics Card
Gigabyte Sniper G1 A88X Motherboard
G Skill 2 x 4GB RAM
AMD A10 6800K 4.1 GHz
Akasa CPU Fan
500W Coolermaster Power Supply
I have recently built a computer using the specs. listed above. I have encountered an issue that has occurred several times during fairly basic 3D gameplay, whereby the screen will either return to the desktop, with an error message: 'AMD Driver has stopped working and has recovered', or will turn green/black, requiring a reboot.
There is no overheating issue (5 operational fans), the motherboard and graphics drivers are all up to date, and the computer is not overclocked.
Could this be due to a faulty card, or could there be another underlying issue? Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks

So Ive been talking with people about my resolution my resolution is pretty much low but this current setup is a joy for me I dont like big screens or small just normal side view

My resolution is 1366x768 and im deciding between going for a

Radeon 7770 110$ and can be cheaper in christmas
Radeon 7850 180$ and can be cheaper too but what I get is this radeon 7850 is overkill for my resolution most people say that card is for 1920x1080.

Pixel rate 1920x1080=2073600
Pixel rate 1366x768= 1049088

So I see that the radeon 7770 reaches mostly 30 fps or abit higher or lower on 1920x1080 in almost most games of today does it mean if I use it on the 1366x768 the frame rates will double since there is a difference of double the pixels on the 1920x1080 from my resolution

Any help would be thankfull

Would this mean that score should be 58 on my Resolution or aproximately or?

Answer:HD 7770 or HD 7850 for 1366x768 gaming?

Yeah pretty much. But bear in mind those are average framerates, if you want to stay above 60fps in the biggest multiplayer maps it's probably better to get a 7850. Maybe you can even go for a 1GB 7850 as you probably won't need 2GB of VRAM at that resolution.

This problem has gone on for ages.

HD 5770:
3 monitors have worked for a few months, than worked again after I replaced the Display Port adaptor for 2 months.
This always has a 3rd monitor go black, but is recognised.
Then the 2 remaining monitors show, but over 2 or 3 hours the monitor displays crash, then reboot with displays all messed up?

HD 7770:
No display at all. I hear Windows boot up with the welcome sound, but no picture.
I use the correct active mini Display adaptor (two of these) and a DVI-VGA adaptor on the 3rd monitor.

I have downloaded the latest CCC drivers.

AMD support is no good. Some Chinese girls who give the typical run around.
Please help.

Answer:ATI Radeon HD 5770 and HD 7770 won't show 3 monitors.

Are all 3 monitors the same brand and size? Does window detect the third monitor? Do you have both GPU's installed? Right click on an open area of the desktop, select screen resolution, then click the detect tab.

Hi All,
Im planning to replace my old pc. These are my choices,
1. MSI 970A-G46 Motherboard
2. AMD 3.6 GHz AM3+ FX4100 Processor
3. Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)
4. some 500 watts psu
5. existing seagate 500 gb harddisk

So I have my previous Ati hd 5670 1gb card, now should i buy a new ati 7770 1gb, 6850 1gb, 6870 1gb or get another 5670 1gb and make a crossfire setup?

I Cant afford an 6870 but can try if thats the best. I'm in india so it costs around 13000.RS
Any suggestions on graphic card or my other new components are welcomed. Thanks in advance And more important thing is I have a 19' monitor of 1368x768 resolution. I play mostly hardcore Games like BF3 and crysis 2.

Answer:Amd 5670 crossfire Vs 6850 6870 7770

Any of the cards you listed will be faster than two 5670's in Crossfire, with the 6870 being the fastest and the 7770 the slowest (but not by much behind the 6850).

The listed components look good, but there is one troubling bit,

4. some 500 watts psu

As long as it is a good quality 500W it should be OK. If it is some no name, then I wouldn't trust it at all.

For quite a while I have just been using an i3 integrated graphics and WMC and Total Media Theater 5 with ~pretty decent results. Very stable, very basic. I wanted to up the picture quality and try some advanced filters, giving MPC-HC, MadVr, LAV a try. I replaced the i3 with an i7 and installed an HD 7770 last week. Cat 13.1 installed with no problem. Immediate improvement. Inside the Catalyst control panel, I added display modes 1080p24, 1080p23, 1080p59, 1080p60 and rebooted when promted. This is where the problem began. I am not sure what?s relevant, so I?ll include all events and everything I have noticed since. Upon restart, nothing. Monitor doesn?t recognize a signal at all. The HD 7770 and cpu fans spin, but just a blank screen, no post, no windows. I connect the HDMI to the motherboard and I get into windows, but the intel drivers are now crippled. No HD graphics control center, actually, don?t even think it?s running the intel drivers, but just the default windows driver. Uninstalled all Cat and intel drivers, used a driver cleaner, etc. Nothing. Windows wanted to update WEI, went from 7.7 to 1.0, no aero effects, no control center in system tray. I have an older HD 6570 I placed in the x16 slot, same results. Placed it in the x8 slot, same results. System restore did nothing. Went back to motherboard HDMI to get into windows, but no graphics driver will run. It will install, but will not run. I do not think the HD 7770 is bad as my old card produced the same result... Answer:No post with new HD 7770 after reboot, default drivers only from MB

Try resetting the BIOS. See if that helps.

When you first boot, and before Windows loads, the video card is running in its basic VGA 640X480 mode. Only when Windows loads and loads the AMD driver does it change to whatever preset mode. This why I recommended resetting the BIOS.

Hi,

I built my first computer just recently (8 days ago). Since the day I have built it, I have been getting BSODs. I have finally been able to read the dump files. It just says that " Probably caused by : atikmpag.sys ". So I determined it was the graphics card.

I have tried:
1) Reinstalling the graphics card drivers
2) Reinstalling windows
3) Currently in progress of installing a beta version of the drivers that was released on May 31st 2012.

I wanted to swap the graphics card and see if I still get the error but I don't have another graphics card. Also, the error is erratic (for example, I spent the entire day on the computer today (16 hours) and then it suddenly crashed while I was browsing (i.e. something non graphically intensive).

Do you think it is a hardware issue and I should just exchange the graphics card? Or it might be something else?

Hello,
My Inspiron 660 isn't detecting a AMD Radeon 7770 video card. The card isn't showing up in Device Manager, and black screen(no signal) when plugged in. The card works fine in another computer. The card's fan is also spinning when in the Inspiron 660, just not being detected.

A little history:
I have a Dell Inspiron 660 and a Dell XPS 8500.
I upgraded the PSU and GPU in my XPS 8500 and then put those in my Inspiron 660. The PSU is 450 watts and the GPU is a AMD Radeon 7770.

Here are a few things I've tried from googling around looking for solutions:
-Re-seat GPU and power plug.
-Install Radeon 7770 drivers even though card isn't detected
-Try to disable on-board graphics in BIOS(can't find any video options in BIOS). The BIOS is Aptio Setup Utility and I have the latest version (A11).
-Plug a monitor into the on-board graphics and also one into the GPU(2 monitors) and then try and detect through windows display.
-Re-seat ram

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
BIOS Boot Settings:
Secure Boot Control [Disabled]
Load Legacy OPROM [Enabled]
Boot Mode[Legacy]

Thanks for reading and any help!

I have got 3 monitors (two Acer 193w 1440 x 900 and one Samsung Syncmaster 933 1366 x 768) which I am planning to mount onto a bracket and play games using a triple monitor setup.

Is it possible to plug 3 monitors into this graphics card using two DVI's and one HDMI?

And is it possible to play games like Burnout Paradise, GTA IV and Source games (Valve games) using this graphics card?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

-Dan

Hello,
Not sure if I am posting in the right place but I am having an issue with my graphics card. I have posted in several forums, with lots of "ideas" yet no actual help.
My system:
8GB RAM DDR3
Windows 7
AMD Quad Core Processor
Corsair Builder Series CX 500 PSU
Gigabyte 78lmt-USB3 Motherboard
The first 7770 card I had, I assumed to be faulty as it would crash after 30 seconds playing Saints Row 3. It also crashed on Sims 3 start up and Dota online. When I received a replacement the new card worked better but still crashes. I have improved the amount of crashes by using MSI Afterburner and turning off my automatic settings and allowing my card to do whatever fan speed it wants whereas before the card was restricted to 20. I have tried installing a Microsoft patch that allows more time for a game to respond when it crashes and this stops my PC from completely crashing and allows the game to continue after 1-2 minutes.
Here is a link to another forum with some other solutions I have tried:
click here am running out of ideas and I am left believing I either need a better PSU of 600-750w or I need a different card because this card could possibly be pants.

Answer:Asus Radeon HD 7770 crashes while playing games

I think that your PSU is more than enough for that particular GPU and your system in general. But that is not to say that a 600W PSU might not help but I am obviously reluctant to suggest going out and buying a new PSU if at the end of the day you still have the problem.
Is the game just crashing to the desktop, or is your PC crashing? Do you get BSOD's if so what is the error message/code? Have you looked at the Events Manager to see if there are any clues there to the problem?

Which is the power supply best match with the AMD Radeon HD 7770 video card for my new XPS 8500 desktop computer ? The original graphics card was the nvidia GeForce GT 640, but then Dell emailed me that the order has been changed due to that nvidia card no longer available for a Windows 7 XPS 8500 PC. So now they changed my graphics card to that AMD 7770 which shows a 500 watt power supply minimum is required, but the 8500 has a 460 watt in it. So I did email Dell Customer Support about this issue, but since I do not play any games or high graphics use applications, will the 460 watt work okay or not ? Or the other OEM type AMD Radeon card available from Dell for this computer is the HD 7570 with lower power supply requirements at only 400 watts ?

I have the newest catalyst driver. When i try watch youtube video my screen goes black for 1 second and the graphic driver crashes and i get the message from windows that my graphic card has been reloaded. It is not happening every time. After rebooting is better but it can still happen after short time. It happens in all internet browsers. I have newest flash version.

Thanks for help.

Answer:Graphic driver crashes when watching youtube. ( Randeon 7770 HD)

Without more information this is just an educated guess!

Quote:
"It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception".

Since Vista, the "Timeout Detection and Recovery" (TDR) components of the OS video subsystem have been capable of doing some truly impressive things to try to recover from issues which would have caused earlier OSs like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends the video driver a "please restart yourself now!" command and waits a few seconds.

If there's no response, the OS concludes that the video driver/hardware combo has truly collapsed in a heap, and it fires off that stop 0x116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating.

Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU.

Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup and subsequently inadequate cooling.

I would download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) and keep an eye on the video temps

Hey

I have for some time now only runned single screen on my computer.
now i tried to attach second screen to the Dvi connection on the card but no signan comes to the screen.
Tried to change the cables around to make sure its not the screen - the screen works fine.

Can someone help me figure out why only the top DVI works on the card but the second one doesnt.

First screen runs with cable VGA to DVI
Second screen runs with cable VGA to VGA with VGA to DVI connecter that goes to card
this connecter also works in the top output.

So recently I decided to try to update my display drivers for my Asus Radeon HD 7770 Graphics card in hopes that it would fix some problems I was having. After I finished the update and rebooted there was a black border around my screen.

I have dual monitors, one monitors (the one with the black border) resolution is 1920x1080 and is connected via HTMI and the others is 1680x1050 and is connected via DVI. Only the monitor with the resolution of 1920x1080 has the black border not the second one.

I have also done a lot of research on how to fix this and the most common solution seemed to be to change the overscan settings but I do not have the normal Catalyst Control Center i have something called AMD Vision Engine Control Center and when I open that and go the the display settings the only option is HydraVision which does not seem to have any options to help me.

And one last thing, it seems like the image might be a bit fuzzy or blurry but that might just be a result of the smaller image.

If there are any questions just ask and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
Update : Also, I did check my physical monitors settings and it is set to full and not overscan.
Update 2: - OS is Windows 7 64-Bit
Update 3: I woul rather not roll back the drivers as they were starting to cause problems too.

Try cleaning the whole touchpad, perhaps it may require recalibration. I previously had issues with the touchpad and removed the additional drivers that came with it

I got a T60 with a 14" screen.  I bought this used so I can't verify how long this laptop has been doing this.  Laptop works fine plugged in and will get a full charge, when working only on battery it will seem to work fine for like 30-45 minutes, and it will say there is about 2 hours left or so and then it will suddenly stop working, light up the battery icon yellow and say battery has reached critical stage and you need to charge battery or plug laptop in to continue.   The power of the battery will go from like 90% to 5% after this error.   Battery says it only has 36 cycles, so it appears not to be that old but doesn't seem to work right.  I assume I need a new battery, but any advice or guidance on this matter would help.    Thanks

Very frustrated with this...I opened the laptop gently as I would always do  and the hinge on the left side of the laptop just snapped and popped out of the plastic monitor frame.  The design of the hinges are just terrible and i can now see how they work because the case has been damaged just from opening and closing the laptop.  I can now see inside the whole left side of the case.  To top it off I have already invested considerable time into upgrading the OS to Windows 10 and customizing and installing software on this laptop. I cannot close my laptop entirely since the screen closes on an incorrect angle. Since I am out of warranty, is there any way to fix this problem? After reading several posts, it seems to be a common problem with the envy models.

Hello,

I have a strange problem. I recently had to move my graphics card from one slot to another on my motherboard. When I did so, my desktop appeared to be shifted over to the left and that the left most part of the desktop would not display. I tried to use my TV controls to shift the display horizontally and when I did I encountered two issues- 1) the display would not adjust flush with the right side of the screen (would not reach it leaving a slim black bar) and 2) it looked like someone sliced off the left most part of my desktop (the part missing was a width so that about half the start/ windows button was missing).

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CCC (latest update/drivers) for my ATI Raedon HD 46xx series card with no luck (Doing a registry sweep between to be thorough). I also have updated everything else windows with no luck.

My desktop is fine @50hz by the way, but 60hz is problematic.

And here is the whammy!

I took a screenshot of my desktop to send to a friend so he could see the left part cut off by a black bar and when I pasted it, the whole screen is there in the pic!!

So I assume this means that windows thinks it is displaying the screen but it is not making it to my TV?

I would have given up on this, however, it was working before so I know that it is possible.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated as I am starting to pull my hair out over here! :-)
Thanks in advance!

Daikon

Hum I had a similar thing happen with my monitor I just could not get it to the edges and someone advised me to use the scaling in the CCC and it worked so give it go.

Personally I got so fed up with the ATi stuff and went NVidia best thing I ever did.

I have a strange problem that just started today. I have Win 7 Home Premium 64bit and a Saitek Cyborg Keyboard V7 (KU-0728). When using the left shift key to press the 9 key to get a left parentheses [(] I get nothing. The left shift key works for all other keys and I can access [(] by using the right shift key. I'm leaning towards not a hardware issue due to the fact that the left shift works on other keys and the 9 key works with the right shift key. Could it be a driver issue? I've done some searching but can't relly find anything on this issue. Seems kind of wierd that the left shift would not work with only one key. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You in advance,
CaddyGuy

There's this annoying white noise on my left speakers(Logitech X-540 Speakerset), though I think it's not my speakers that are causing it, but something else, because when I connect my iPod to my speakers there's no white noise.

So I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get rid of this noise

Answer:White noise on left speakers/left side of headphone

Sounds like either a driver malfunction or more likely a failing sound card. Most of the stuff below (Windows & Programs) wouldn't likely be causing problems. I'd be willing to bet it's a hardware problem (due to it only being one side).

Figure Out What's FailingIf you're using a secondary sound card
*** i.e. you have a second built in one on your motherboard, enable that.
If you still hear the sound on a different card, then it's something within Windows and not a problem w/ hardware.
If you don't hear the sound, then it's something w/ drivers or your hardware.
If you don't have an extra sound card, see if you can find/buy one Replace DriversDownload & Install a Program like Guru's Driver Sweeper
Uninstall your sound drivers w/ Driver Sweeper
Reboot
Download and install the latest drivers for your sound card.
RebootIf the sound is still there and you couldn't test a secondary card you're likely dealing with either a hardware failure (most likely with sound only happening in one speaker) or something in Windows failing.

Repair WindowsIf you want to try to fix windows, you can do the following:
Run an elevated Command Prompt and run this command:
sfc /scannow
Peform a system restore
Perform a repair install.Test to see if a program is causing the problemType msconfig into start menu search and hit Enter
Go to the startup tab and disable everything.
Restart computer
Do you still hear the sound?
Yes -- Not a program
No -- A program is likely causing the problem. If no... Read more

My microphone is a "Cyber Acoustics" headset and it uses the light pink / light green jack inputs which I think is called "1/8" or "3.5mm" not sure? Here's a low resolution photo:

the speakers on the headset are backwards. When i go to this website and scroll over "Left" I hear the word "Left" coming out of the right side of the headset.

What I'd like to know is is there any way to reverse this and fix it?

Answer:[SOLVED] Switching the Speakers From Left to Right / Right to left

You can't move the boom to the other side and put the headset on in reverse to what you have now?

Unless under control panel/sound you have the ability to reverse the speakers there isn't anything in windows to correct this.

I found this http://jdeboeck.msfnhosting.com/

Think it's worth a try or just another thing to break XP with?

Answer:Worth a try or more trouble than it's worth?

No, this definantly might be more trouble then it's worth. My reasons why not too:

1. This website is not approved by Microsoft. For all you know, these guys could of put some sort of tracer bug into the software and it can detect everything your doing on your PC and can add more files. If you are in DIRE need of gaining space, then just uninstall some programs or defragment or something. It's NEVER good to mess with your OS files, especially with Microsoft.

2.SP2 is out now and RC2 is out, so that means you can download that instead. If you do want to download it. Go to the link below. Go to page 3, scroll down and look for the post about Retail Candidate 2 and click the link and download it.
http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=750878

The reason why you want to d/l that is because it does remove some setup files safetly. Get SP2 if you like. Don't get tempted to though if you don't want it.

I'm not sure if it's a problem with my drivers or if my speakers are just broken. They were just kinda cheap ones I picked up at best buy, here's the model:

Insignia?„? - Powered Computer Speakers with Subwoofer (3-Piece) - Black/Silver/Gray - NS-PSD5321 | Insignia

Theyre unique because there's a central "pod" (you see in the picture) that plugs into the audio jack on my PC (it's also the power/volume control). I can plug headphones into that hub to switch the sound to headphones. From a the hub, a cord goes to the subwoofer. The Left and Right speakers connect into a single jack in the subwoofer.

My computer is acting like both my Left and Right speakers are JUST the right speaker. When I turn down the Right sound balance, both speakers get quieter. When I turn up the Left balance, the Subwoofer gets louder.

However, the sound balance when I use HEADPHONES is still just fine. It uses my left and right "speakers" correctly.

Are the speakers just broken? Or is it possible that my driver is confusing the speakers somehow? I googled and couldn't find anyone else with this issue.

Answer:down for months

I know, being patient is one of the rules, so I apologize in advance. Maybe the title I chose, "down for months" gives the impression that I'm not too interested in resolving this issue - I don't know. I am very interested in getting help with this. I realize this is free voluntary help, and I appreciate that. I noticed that I've had 28 or 29 views, but no one has replied. I'm honestly not trying to seem impatient. Just curious that's all. I have no idea what's wrong with this computer, or how to read that DDS log. My concern is that, since there have been 29 views, I'm assuming those who do know how to read that log have looked at it and decided not to get involved, for whatever reason. If someone who reads the log and doesn't want to help could just leave me a reply saying, "You're screwed - your computer is now an anchor" that would be very much appreciated also.

Thanks again and sorry if I seem impatient. I'm not . . . much

Ok I have a small medical transcription company, we were recently forced to move our servers from where they were housed and setup our own, I was scared and leary of this but we went with QWEST, as the local cable company for the area we housed our servers didnt have static ips, QWEST does.

Our setup consists of a DVI server, an FTP server, an email server, and 2 computers used as dns controllers, along with our Sonicwall firewall.

So we set everything up, call up our name registar to point to the new IPs etc, everything was fine about 24 hours later as everything was working well, most everyone was reset back up except for 3 transcriptionists.

Well these 3 people cannot connect period, they cannot ping (times out) we did trace routes, stops at my reserved gateway, and doesnt go through to the IP.

Through troubleshooting we have found one common factor, all 3 that cannot connect/ping etc have Comcast cable for an isp and all 3 have ips starting with a 24, so they all have 24.x.x.x ips etc.

I should also note that I also have Comcast for an isp but my IP starts with a 66 and I can connect fine.

I called Comcast and was originally told it was previous internet abuse issue, yet the tech support at Comcast is of the basic level, I try to explain the issue to them and they want me to reboot the modem and computer, try using ftp program, etc. the issue isnt connectivity to the internet, its to my servers, like I mentioned earlier they cannot ping or trace route or... Question: 6 Months Later...

Ok, so here's on my ongoing struggle...

Bought a bunch of new supplies back in february: Asus A8N-SLI Premium Mobo, AMD 3800 x2 CPU, 2 GB Corsair PC3200, Nvidia XFX 6800 XT, 480 W Aurora Power Supply, WD 74G Raptor SATA, and such....

Installing Windows XP, everything goes fine through the formatting, and the non graphical setup. Once it gets to the graphical setup...It's lags on the 39 Min remaining screen...and sits there with no progress for about a minute, before turning off my machine automatically. When i took it to a repair center...they had no issues installing it. Peculiar. This morning, I got a system error, and had to reinstall windows. Same issues I was having earlier with the turn offs. I'm wondering if it could be the power supply or APC unit. It's an old 300W apc, and might not be able to handle the power. I've tried a new vid card, had the mobo RMA'd, New ram, the works....yet nothing.

Any suggestions? (Not paying another $175 to have a repair center install windows :X)

Thanks in Advance.

Site looks great... But, when you put in OT at work and have a new born at home it's hard to visit your favorite forum.... I had a quicky for the group to help solve - a 3 parter.

1st part - create a user form to display xml data - what is the vba code to display an xml node in a user form text box.

2nd part - create a macro that when run captures the hilighted words in the current PPT slide then displays it in the VBA userform textbox.

3rd part - on the same userform create a button and code that when clicked will add the text from the "selected text" field then add it to the XML doc.

thanks in advance for the input,

Hi guys,
Yesterday I finally, after doing a lot of reading about this imaging, decided to go for it, with this macrium reflect.
But as soon as I opened the program (macrium) it offered me to create some disk (recovery disk?) which I accepted of course.
When it came to insert the CD which I did, this message popped up that the CD has to be erasable. It was a CD-R
Now I wonder, since it will be my first imaging (I should take a complete one) if one CD will be enough and what kind of CD should it be. A CD-RW??
Will this OS partition (Windows 7 professional) with a couple of programs installed, fit on a CD?? Should n't I use a DVD instead?? Maybe a couple of DVD's?? If so should it be DVD-RW
If it matters, my ODD is a DVD burner blue ray.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Macrium isn't going to image your HDD to the CD, it wants to create a one time recovery disc, that you can use to boot to, to run Macrium should you not be able to enter the windows environment, or prefer to boot from the disc to recover from a saved image. This is just creating a boot disc that will allow you to boot from the CD to run Macrium should you need to/desire. Go ahead and burn the disc, and boot from it to see how it works. You can then use Macrium to make an image of your hard drive. This will be on a 2nd HDD, internal or external, preferably. Backing up to CD's or DVD's would take many discs, and it... Read more

Answer:BSOD for months...

Your dmp files indicated either you have a bad Video Driver or you have a bad memory stick.

Update your video driver from the manufacturerDownload Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool, burn it to a cd/USB stick and run memtest for at least 6-8 hours

I tried - I used it for over two months but Windows 8 just isn't a good desktop experience for me. It had features I liked, the task manager is fantastic and it was a solid OS in general. However, the lack of proper Multi-monitor support from NV within Windows 8 just wore me down. Specifically with 3 monitors you either have 3 separate logical screens without SLI or you have one massive logical screen with SLI. There is no native way to maximize without the window covering all 3 screens without using something like Matrox PowerDesk which is still not 100%. NV claims that thier drivers interact with the Aero to get multi-screens working properly in 7 but that doesn't exist in 8 hense the failure to work properly.

On top of which the just plain square and garrish look of 8 windows I do not miss at all. If 8 had areo I wouldn't have gone back but alas maybe NV will get their drivers fixed eventually. Here is to hoping Windows 9 gets past the (self inflicted) Fugly asthetic growing pains of Windows 8.

Answer:Reverting to W7 after two months with W8

So the "Confine maximized window to one screen" option in the NV Control panel doesn't work in 8? I've not yet upgraded or tested my sig rig with Windows 8 because I have heard of issues with using Surround and it is one of the things that does need improving in 8. What about using independent monitors while on the desktop and switching to Surround for gaming?

Got an Aspire E1-522-5659 in late October  2013. Here it is June of 2015 and my notebook is dead. For weeks it has been giving the USB Unrecognized error with -nothing- in a port. The  2 of the 3 ports stopped working. Then they all stopped working. Blue screen when turning on saying there was usb error and it needed to restart for a week. Tried everything I could find online to fix it. Now? Won't even turn on. Sits at Acer screen doing nothing. Tech guy tells me it is the motherboard. In a less than 2 year old machine?! Horrible waste of money on what should have been a good product. Should have done more research I guess.

Hi guys.. well first of all thanks for reading my problem ...
Since about May I have been having problems with my Pc but had been finding ways for it to work somehow but today the same problem that has been going on for 3 months started again... I have a Pentium 4 Pc 1.6GHz 394mb Ram and have Windows Xp Pro installed...

The problem is that many times my computer crashes and runs into a blue screen that states that the file "sys32k.sys" has caused an error and the computer has been shut down... another blue screen that appears states that there is a "memory_management" problem and that the computer was shut down and a third blue scrren that appears says that there was a fatal error and that windows could not be started...

this last blue screen appears only whe starting up windows... and the first 2 while I am usually working or simply while on the desktop...

this is making me NUTS... literally...
I have the theory that my Hard Drive is the one with the problem because I have formatted the drive completely about 10 times and made a clean windows Xp again and the same problem appears or that my windows xp is faulty and doesn't install the file -->"sys32k.sys" correctly... I even changed the motherboard and tested it without the VideoCard I recently bought (which I taught was the original problem) but the same occurs.. I also tried using the recovery console that comes in the Windows XP instalation disc and repairing the current instala... Read more

**WARNING**Unfortunately one or more of the infections I have identified are Backdoor Trojans, IRCBots or other Malware capable of stealing very important information. You need to stop using all Internet Banking sites, change passwords to all sites with sensitive information from a clean computer and phone your bank to inform them that you may be a victim of identify theft. More often than not, we advise users that a full reinstallation of their Operating System is the only way to ensure that their computer will ever be 100% clean again.

Unfortunately I have found what is known as the ZeroAccess rootkit on your system. It is an especially nasty infection that can take quite some time to clean as well as may have damaged your system files itself. As a warning, during the cleaning (if you choose to do so) you may lose internet access with this computer and in the end we may need to reinstall the operating system anyway depending on the extent of the infection.

If you would like to continue with the cleaning, please continue with the following instructions and I will be more than happy to help. ... Read more

Every few months one of PCs at my home is really unstable. That PC is a 'spare' machine, so that wasn't a big problem. But it's really irritable because I have to set off power supply for a couple of minutes and hope it'll work stable again for next few months or so.

Could somebody check my 2 newest minidumps and analyze it? Yesterday I installed the drivers for gpu. Sadly, today saw BSOD again.

OS: Windows 8, but earlier on Windows 7 also was the same problem.
Problem: various BSOD every few months.

My machine:
- mobo: Asus P5Q Deluxe (bios version: 2301);
- CPU: E8500 (never overlocked);
- GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4650 (sapphire version with heatpipes, GPU temperature from gpu-z: ~37-38C, I don't play any games);
- RAM: 2x2GB, corsair dominator PC2-8500 (tested also with some Kingston 2x2GB sticks);
- power supply: 550W (bequiet darkpower pro);
- antivirus: Avast;

The first signs of instability: firefox crashes, then later (sometimes) Visual Studio crashes.
This time the crashes started when PC was running more than a day doing some calculations. As always, Firefox crashed first.

BSODs on Windows 8:
DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
and one more BSOD, but I didn't write it down.

Earlier on Windows 7:
error codes:
1A - memory_management
3B - system_service_exception
D2,
24,
1 - apc_index_mismatch

Errors 0x1 & 0x3b often showed when Visual Studio was running.

Each time I see a BSOD on Win8 the text with it is all blurry and hard to read. Is it norma... Read more

Run memtest86 AND memtest from hcidesign.com for extended periods. Use driver verifier on the non-microsoft drivers without the low resource simulation.

Hi,
Since 5 months, I got a BSOD when I'm doing some basics things: Looking at Facebook, playing games (even flash games) I've decided after that to make a DualBoot to Windows 8, previously I had Windows 7, There was no BSOD for 3 days, and it began...

What did I make:
Memtest86+ = No errors, runned 4 passes
Tried to use one stick of ram = Worked for almost 1 day.
Swap the sticks of ram in the slots = Worked for 1 month (wtf happened there)
Ran driver verifier = got a blue screen with rdyboost.sys as the error.
Install all the drivers and make updates (Bios, chipset)
I've BSOD while writing this, the error flagged was rdyboost.sys, I think it's the error, but don't know how to delete or deactivate this thing..
Thanks in advice.

Forgot to add : I have this PC since 2 years.

Answer:Many BSOD since 5 months

I don't have time to look through all of those mini-dumps but the latest ones I have looked at don't seem to be pointing to anything in particular. This might indicate a hardware problem or a buggy/out-of-date driver.

You have some old drivers you should consider updating to Windows 8 64bit versions or un-installing/removing if un-needed:

AtiPcie.sys - ATI PCIE Driver for ATI PCIE chipset or ATI PCI Express (3GIO) Filter Found in my ATI video drivers (I have an Intel chipset) (2009): Driver Reference Table
AsIO.sys - Asus PCProbe Utility: Driver Reference Table (please un-install this and anything related to ASUS Utilities Suite, known BSOD creator)
ASACPI.sys - Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility. Also a part of many Asus utilities: Driver Reference Table (please un-install this, known BSOD creator)
LGBusEnum.sys - Logitech Keyboard: Driver Reference Table
netr73.sys - D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G122 Wireless USB Adapter(rev.C) ** DISCONTINUED **: Driver Reference Table

Please update your AMD chipset drivers:

AMD Chipset Drivers

Remove the drivers related to BSODs above using control panel/un-install.

Update your Logitech Keyboard driver: Keyboards

Not sure about the D-Link Airplus Wireless USB Adapter, there doesn't seem to be a Windows 8 64bit driver for it. It's quite an old piece of gear so I recommend not using it in Windows 8. I recommend un-installing the driver via control panel if possible or disabling it by going into: c:\windows\system32\drivers and renaming the driver to ... Read more

Two months ago, I got many BSOD's, and with the help of this forum, the problems were resolved.
Since then, I have not encountered any problems.
Until today. Got a BSOD with a message Bad_Pool_Header
I have not installed any drivers or any software lately. So I do not have a hint what could cause the BSOD.

Here is the result of SF Tools:

Thanks for the support.

Answer:First BSOD since 2 months

We've seen a number of BSOD issues with SSD's. Here's the information that I've compiled so far:

There's not a whole bunch available to test SSD's. The "easiest" test is to remove the SSD, install a platter-based hard drive, install Windows and test for stability that way.

Here's some suggestions:
- Update the SSD's firmware to the latest available version (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)
- Update the motherboard controllers drivers to the latest available version from the controller manufacturer (NOT the mobo manufacturer unless you can't find any on the controller manufacturer's website). Be sure to update ALL controllers on the motherboard! I STRONGLY suggest not using controller drivers older than mid-2012 with SSD's.
- Slow the memory (RAM) down to the next slower speed (I've only seen one person who claimed that this worked for them).
- Use any manufacturer's utilities that you may have. If you don't have any, then try this free one (I haven't used it myself): Crystal Dew World
....NOTE: Recently (Nov 2011) we had BSOD issues with the Marvell 91xx controller and an SSD. You may have to switch controllers also.
- Replace the SSD with a platter based hard drive and see if that stops the BSOD's. If it does, then it's likely that there's a problem with the SSD OR an incompatibility with your system.
