printer/label maker

Question: printer/label maker

Before I proceed, is there anyone overly familiar with them? I have to go look at one, then I will come back with a better report. It is a WASP label maker. I apologize but I don't know anything beyond that yet.

Preferred Solution: printer/label maker

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: printer/label maker

Ok gang, here's the low down.It is a Wasp WPL606 Industrial Barcode Printer. When they go to print, they are getting a paper jam error. Then they go to manually feed the paper and get an overheating error. Yesterday, we had a power outage and some think a power surge might have done some damage, but it is plugged into a good surge protector. So far, I have unhooked and unplugged it then let it sit for a bit (over night actually). That didn't solve the problem. Just now, I cleaned the rollers with alcohol and we're waiting a bit then trying it again.Anybody have any ideas?

Question: Seiko Label Maker

I have an old Seiko SLP-120 label printer that was used with an equally old Micron Win 98 PC. I want to move it to a new machine running Win XP-SP3. The connector on the label printer has only parallel and serial connectors. The new computer has neither parallel nor serial ports, so I bought a serial-to-USB adapter. It came with a driver CD, and the driver seemed to install perfectly (went onto COM4), as did the old label maker software. However, when I try to print a label, it claims the printer is not connected. Why?

We use the Avery add ons a lot at work with Word (should be a safe site). Tested it, works fine. Best to print a sheet on plain paper first to see how it lines up prior to printing on label sheets, each printer lines up a little different.

Hi, everyone,

I'm running Windows XP on a DELL Optiplex GX620 here at my office. Another user has the same computer and successfully runs a DYMO LabelWriter 400 label maker. Other than a printer, she has no peripherals of note. I have a Canon CanoScan LIDE70 scanner which remains unplugged unless it's actively in use.

Yesterday I received my own label maker and installed the software that comes with it. The label maker shows up in my list of printers and it's receving power. But I can't print to it! I send a label to the printer and get a message in my printer queue that the document failed to print (this happens when I print to it from Word and from the DYMO software).

I tried to print a test label, but the instructions for a test label on the DYMO website just make the label printer spew labels all over my desk. The DYMO site was NOT helpful.

Any thoughts on why this isn't working for me? Do you think the scanner, even though it's unplugged, is causing a conflict?

Thanks,
Lisa

Pretty basic question compared to most I see here but I'm trying to make a CD label in Nero and, if I'm reading it right, there should be a list of predefined papers to use in the drop down menu. Mine doesn't have any. When I click on it it just says "predefined paper" again. Do I need to move them from somewhere else to this spot. When I use the help provided in the program the drop down menu shows LOTS of choices there.

This novice appreciates your help A GREAT DEAL. Response has been quick and helpful.

Anybody know of any software that is tailored to use the standard Avery round label that come on 8 1/2" x 11" sheets.

Avery labels are sort a standard for the office supply industry and are identified by a number, like #5294.

I want to use it to make labels for my storage cans, jars etc in my workshop. I store goodies in one pound coffee cans, baby food jars and other standard size jars that I save for the purpose.

Even have special built interlocking crates I built for a mobile system. Should work very nice if I can further color code, the labels on an ink jet printer. These cans, jars, etc are stored in racks with the tops showing, so round labels are most useful. The baby food jars are in very custom side out trays of 40 each with their tops showing as well.

I have tried the software on the Avery site. It sort of works but is a bit cramped and not very flexible. Looking to use Avery # 6293, 5196 and 5294 label sheets.

Running Memorex Expressit DVD Label Maker (Version 4.3) on Windows XP.
The program ran perfectly for about a year then one day failed: the Title Screen comes up but attempts to Open File gives a Not Responding error. The task Manager also show Not Responding
I uninstalled the program and re-installed from the supplied CD but same error occurs. The memorex web site has no solution.

Sorry if this comment isn't instantly helpful but I think it will help you in the future. I used the Memorex Expresit Label maker for a few months (along with a few other labeling methods for years). Every one of those systems was fraught with frustration and faulty results. I recently switched to an new disc printing devise called the "DiscPainter". It works fast and flawlessly and I recommend it to anyone who is tired of quirky disc labeling methods. Life is too short to mess with bad tech. Good luck with your Memorex prob.

Hello,

I am using Roxio Easy CD Creator Version 6.0.0.171 on Windows XP PC. When trying to print the CD labels with Label Creator I get blanks with 'scissors' for the edges that need cutting. It has worked before and found I would have to reboot my computer to clear the memory after doing graphic-intensive scanning or editing but it's not doing the trick now. Any ideas on why my labels are not printing now? They show perfect in the software. Doesn't matter which printer I use (I tried two different laserjet computers, one b/w one color).

Thanks! :chef:

Answer:Roxio Label Maker printing blank/scissors

Run CCleaner first.
Which will clear up the resources used by your Cache (strangely) And in turn allow high memory usage programs to work more effectively (as long as you have a substantial amount of Ram installed for your applications)
That should fix it

I have  a zebra 450 label printer and an hp inkjet printer both installed on the same computer. When I use one and then switch to the other it carries over the format from the other. So if I print labels and then go to use my inkjet it only prints a 6x4 rectangle on the full sheet, but the second time I use it it's fine. It also does this when I use the inkjet and switch to the labels. It stretches it over several. Is there a workaround for this? I hate all the waste.

I have a main computer tower which runs our software on itself as well as 4 laptops. The laptops communicate via a router. All the computers can print to one main printer and two Dymo label printers. Each label printer is set up for different uses.
The main computer is windows 8.
The laptop I am having trouble with is a windows 7.
For years we have printed labels with no problem. Recently for some reason, every time windows does an update we have to go in and reset all the printers on all the laptops. Re-set to what type of paper and where each type of label will be printed. VERY annoying.
Our IT guy suggested we buy a new label maker that is more compatible with our windows 8 operating system to see if that made any difference. Our software will only talk to Dymo label makers not any other brand, I called the company and they confirmed. Too bad because it seems other brands are cheaper and have fewer problems.
I got the newest Dymo machine. I installed the software from the disk on the windows 7 laptop. Then I talked our IT guy and he said I only needed to install in on the main computer and then look for it as a device to be added on the laptops without installing the CD because it goes through the router. At this point the main computer and three of the laptops are printing labels very nicely to the new Dymo. The windows 7 laptop prints to the Dymo but the writing is not legible, it looks like it is somewhat smeared and like it has a shadow.

Hi:

I recall a few similar reports here, such as this one.
Alas, I don't think there was a solution.

IIRC M$ did issue a Windows patch a month or so ago that makes it harder (impossible??) to run certain legacy, 3rd-party software.
However, if you're running the Dymo program under Win 8, I'm not sure that's the problem and I can't find the specific discussion about it.

It sounds as if you have exhausted most logical troubleshooting steps.

Perhaps someone will have a solution.

Hi,

I'm running a iMac with a Canon MP780 trying to print onto cd using 'cd label print', (packaged with the Canon). I'm stuck at the printing stage where I'm told to pull down 'Print Set-up' and simply select 'CD tray B' from the window then hit 'Print'. There is no CD Tray B (or A!) to select, only the usual paper sizes eg A4, A3 etc etc.

Anybody help?

Many thanks,

Graham

Answer:Printing to cd using CD Label Printer

I don't see anything in the Canon MP780 specifications that say it can print directly onto a CD:

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelTechSpecsAct&fcategoryid=123&modelid=10444

I am not familiar at all with the Canon "cd label print" software. Could it be that it is made to work with other Canon models that may be able to print directly to a CD?

Hi

I need a label printer for work to create labels with customer information on but aside from that I also would like to be able to print stickers with my company logo to place on our products. I've looked around and found a significant amount of machines capable of printing labels which solves the first part of my issue. As for being able to print stickers with my company logo I am having difficulty in finding such a machine as no matter how much research I perform I cannot seem to find a label maker that does colour images in anything other than rectangles. Ive looked up alot of products being used in youtube videos and not seen a single label in any other shape.

So simply put, does anyone know of any label printers that can make custom colour logos in anything other than rectangles?

I know alot of the the brother label makers come with P-touch editor but I believe the paper is not cut to the shape of the design. Instead the design will still appear on a rectangle piece of paper after printing.

Thanks

Question: Dymo Label Printer

Good day to all,I have a Dymo 310 label printer had it for some time been working well must have printed thousands of labels.
Now over the past few labels I have noticed that the print is not so good as its been,The question is.Is it the printer at fault or maybe the rolls of labels,Must say that I have had the stock of labels for some time bought from ebay some moons ago.
Any help here please printer or maybe labels??.
Many thanks in advance.

Answer:Dymo Label Printer

You can use the head cleaning sheet that came with it - if you can find it! Or, just put a length of fairly stiff rough surfaced paper with some alcohol on through the machine. The labels last a long time but tend to loose their stickiness.
When we had lots of these printers I got adept at taking the heads off to clean but it is fiddly and the dot matrix head is sharp - I have cuts to the fingers to prove it. I now use Zebra label printers and print everything from Word, the later Dymos can only be used with DYmo labels an I wanted a size they dont do.

Sheree

Answer:Design pro label printer

First, the problem is not Windows or Microsoft. Your hardware and applications software have to be compatible, not Windows must be compatible.

If you are using older software, try running the software in a compatibililty mode, such as Windows XP compatibility mode. The compatibility mode, sometimes, will allow older software with compatibility problems to work.

If it's older incompatible hardware your ONLY option is to replace it with Windows 7 compatible devices.

As HP has only made a couple recent model Printers (actually all in one devices) that will print directly on ink-jet printable CD and DVD's I assume you are making paper labels. Paper labels should never be used on discs due to their propensity to flake off and cause equipment failures. Most DVD players state in their operating manuals to not use discs with paper labels. Same way most automobile in-dash CD players have warnings not to use paper label CD's.

I would suggest replacing the old, and apparently not compatible, HP with a current model Epson that will print directly on ink jet printable CD and DVD's. It will give you a compatible device and eliminate the potential problems of paper labels.

Answer:Datamax label printer on XP

I imagine the label printer uses a parallel port (LPT1) and your other printer/s USB?.I don't know if this will make any difference, and my memory fades, but there was traumatic time when I had either changed the motherboard or installed W2K or both, and the wretched printer went on dead slow with a little think between every pass. The cure for me was to change the BIOS printer settings to ECC or ECP or something like that! Sorry to be so vague, my change from W98SE to 2K was a long time ago.

I recently got a new computer and hooked up my Seiko II 200 label printer (all USB) and everything was working fine. I then installed a new desktop Lexmark X73 desktop printer and now the lable printer won't work. I downloaded the patch for XP for the label printer and all was working fine until I installed the desktop printer. I called Seiko and they thought there was a conflict between the desktop and the label printer and were unable to help me.

Second Q: The new computer has Microsoft Word 2002 , but not Excell. If I was to install my old Microsoft Office 2000, will there be a conflict with the 2002 that is already in the computer? Will I be able to choose which program I want without installing Word again?

We have a customer that would like to purchase a printer (preferably HP) that would be used ONLY for envelopes and labels. The concern we had with using a laser printer is that it might heat up so much that it might cause problems with the glue on label paper? I?m not sure if that?s an issue or not. Any recommendations?

Answer:Dedicated envelope and label printer

Not a problem. Just use those with a feeder parallel to the desk that pulls the envelope or label page throuh... rather than those that feed downward where the paper and envelopes are perpendicular to the desk. We have HP lasers widely distributed just for this purpose. We have great luck with older HP's as well such as the LJ 4L, LJ4M, and so on. I can post a number of HP brands to avoid... such as the multifunction printers, as well as the 1100, 1200, series.
Also fine are the Konica Minoltas, Samsung, and Fujitsu...
You will always have a jammed envelope now and then, but the problems of overheating have never been an issue.
If the printing is high volume, do a search at the HP website in printer support for the "Print to Mail" accessories... If they have a decent budget, the printers that use these accessories are the ones to get.

I notice that some months ago a request for details of a Vista driver for this printer was posted.

The original drivers as supplied should work OK on Vista, but I have also downloaded the ZIP file (right at the bottom of the page under Installation CDs) at

TDK-Media Europe | Download

How to do it.

Follow the above link and unzip to hard drive. Run the setup file in folder "SETUP" then, after the software installation is complete plug in the printer. Vista will search unsuccessfully then ask what to do. Point it at the "DRIVERS" folder and the required driver will be installed. Printer should then work OK. Suggest you copy all the files contained in the ZIP file to a CD for safe keeping.

Hope this helps.

Currently we have been using CodeSoft software from brady but i wrote this application in excel that does some important stuff for work and I need to get it on to these labels. That is too cumbersome to do for my new application and I really need to print from excel.

Does anyone have any experience with this, is there any way to do it. Brady tech support told me they dont have templates for any program other than their own and that was the end of the call.

When i try and print from excel, even one cell it prints out 4-6 lables depending on orientation. it doesnt seem to read the stop marks properly and it's just a giant mess.

anyone help?

You can define custom labels in MS Word. Is your spreadsheet able to be inserted into a Word document as a table and printed from Word onto a custom defined label?

I have Internet Explorer 7.0 and a UPS Thermal 2844 label printer. I am connected via a USB cord. It will eventually print the label, but takes 7 minutes to do so!! I use Paypal and then it connects to a Pitney Bowes windows and a Java window and it seems to stick in the Pitney Bowes portion. No one seems to know or recognize the problem. My friend has the same setup I do, and exactly the same happens to her. Could it be a Pitney Bowes problem? Printer works fine when not trying to print through paypal/pitney bowes. Please help!!!

I am currently trying to run 5 different computers via virtual port to 1 citizen printer. The domain was set up and written by a guy that doesn't keep track of how to writes everything. I created a batch file to remove and recreate the LPT1 port for the PC it is connected too and it works for this one computer however the other computers in the room are unable to connect to this printer. I have it going through the NET USE cmd but I feel like I am missing something. If I set this same printer up as LPT2 and 3 and so on on the other computers and use net view and path these computers to the same printer on the first computer, will that allow them to work? As long as nobody goes messing around with the pathways in the domain?

We seem to have a weird problem with the Zebra printer. Everytime we print out a set of barcodes the first of each barcode prints off center and double the size it is supposed to be. I mean it isn't that big of a deal, just have to add an extra barcode for each set you want to print.

I've been through Zebra's troubleshooter and can't seem to find anything there with this problem. We've installed the new drivers and made sure the configuration is correct.

If anyone has any ideas as to why this is let me know. Otherwise we'll keep churnin out the manky ones.

Cheers!

Answer:Zebra Label Printer LP4288

Well, it sounds like a problem with the application's initialization of the printer. I've written software to use the Zebra printers, and if the initialization strings are proper, this shouldn't happen. I seem to recall there was some sort of delay for certain initialization strings, perhaps the first label doesn't get the whole initialization string properly?

I am using MS Office 97 Professional. In MS Word, at one time, I was able to use free label printer software called Avery Label Wizard, compatible with MS Word 97. The results were always perfect. However, I have tried to use the latest version (3.1 of Avery label Wizard 3.1), and it does not work. I have shifted both my word-processor and Label Wizard software to an external drive to see if that would work, but again it did not.I reach the stage of the label forms being shown, but without the data from MS Access. So it seems that the data is not being transfered to the application, resulting in black label information.I have removed the old free version of Avery Wizard, but I would like to re-install that to see if it works again.I have emailed Avery to see if they have a previous version, but they will take about a week to reply. They do not have the old version as a download on their Website, and I wondered if anyone has any suggestions?geedad

Does anyone have experience with the Dymo LabelPrinter 400 machines?

We have installed two on a variety of machines. They always work for a while but then die, and no amount of reinstalling thesoftware or cleaning out various parts ever fixes the printing. It nearly always works again on a new machine, but also only for a while.

Dymo's support staff is great but they have the same old fixes -- remove the software, run a specially-designed cleanup program (why did it need to put anything special in when installing?? ), reboot, and reinstall. Windows always gives the yellow popup, "Dymo blah blahh failed to print"

Has anyone good ideas on _fixing_ this or am I doomed to do the reinstall dance and keep changing computers?

Thanks!

The software for the DYMO LabelWriter 330 and Brother QL-570 label printer get an F.

I recently tried a DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo USB and a Brother QL-570 label printer with dismal results. The printer worked very nicely and is capable of doing a great job of printing single, individually-created labels; but, because of the deficient software, the printers were both useless in managing and printing from a database.

Does anyone know of any software that will manage a database of hundreds of records and work with either of these printers?

In case it will help for you to understand, here is an incomplete list of the problems I saw in the Brother software and the DYMO wasn't much better.
No way I can see to print postal barcodes when printing an imported database of 250 contacts without going through and manually adding the postal zip barcode individually for each of the 250 records I have.
When starting address book application, it opens with the last database worked with and there is no way I can see to close that database and start a new one.
Address book software freezes about 8 seconds each time a different label size is selected.
-sizes- aren't displayed in label selection list (IE "Standard Address Label 02" is not a -size-)
I accidentally imported a database twice and there is no way I can see to delete 250 records without leaving 250 blank lines (blank records).
When I attempted to change the size of the label I was printing to, it changed f... Read more

Answer:Seiko Smart Label Printer Pro 2000

This top one at the below link says it will work for XP 32 and 64 bit versions of XP for certain versions of the Smart Label Pro printer:

http://www.siibusinessproducts.com/usa/support/slpsoft.asp

You say it's a model 2000, but could it be one of the following model numbers?

Smart Label Priner 100, 200, 240, 410, 420, 430, 440 and 450

These are the model numbers of the Smart Label Printer mentioned. I was unable to locate a driver that specifically mentioned a Smart Label 2000 Pro

If you cannot find any reference to your Seiko SLP 2000 Pro printer being also known by one of the above model numbers, that doesn't necessarily mean it is not one of them or that the driver won't work. The driver comes from the Seiko site, so it is a safe download, and it is for your OS, assuming you have XP (guess you wouldn't be on the XP board if you didn't).

Perhaps you could create a restore point using Windows System Restore and then download the top driver and install it. If it doesn't work, you can always uninstall it or use the system restore point to do so...

Hello,
For a while now I've been having a problem with this "[email protected] 1.0" app (which is Corel software). If I recall correctly it came as a trial for my Toshiba when I first got it.

So, whenever I try to save a Movie Maker movie with some different sound file type (anything other than .m4a) it will pop up.

On top of this it also pops up when installing certain games, which actually prevents the installation.

The software trial was removed from my PC ages ago and yet it still affects certain parts of the computer.

Is this some codec issue? I've got Shark007 codecs installed however I'm unsure if it is actually set up correctly, although it is supposed to work from the moment it's installed. It could be that the Shark007 codecs are in fact working correctly but this [email protected] 1.0 crap is taking priority.

I have an old Eltron 2442 thermal label printer. It worked fine then I set it aside for a year or two and when I tried to use it again and I could not get it to work. I used the same computer and software Fed Ex Ship Manager. It seemed like it was working fine, but there was nothing printing on the labels.

I spoke with Fed Ex tech support and they told me to hold down the green button for 3-5 second, I guess this reboots the printer, it spit out three labels as I was told it should, but no print. They then suggested to re-installing the drivers. I did and still had no printing, the labels pulled through but no print.

I think there is something wrong with the heating source, I don't know if it has a laser or what it actually uses to imprint on the label. Nevertheless, is there any way I can check the parts that make it print, and if it is not too expensive possible find new parts.

I may need to, just scrap it, but as I mentioned I was working fine. I'm hoping I am just doing something wrong.

All suggestion are greatly appreciated.

Hi lads and ladies.

I have come across a really frustrating problem.

The Case:
I work at a hospital, where the current solution for printing a single label costs 0,5 USD.

We can reduce this expenditure 10 fold, by switcing to some alternative labels printers.

On a national basis, we may save >12.000 USD on a yearly basis, if we get an alternative solution to work.

And this solution may be adopted by other biobanking system
Which would make me employee of the year lol.

However installing new labels printers and defining af label format, seems to be a task that no one can handle.

Ived tryied the putting the printer manufacturer tech from both Brother and zeebra printers on the task to solve the problem. I'ved tried IT-support at the hospital.
And even arranged for both of them to try and sole this problem at the workstation.

No one seems to be able to solve the problem to our needs.

The problems we face:

We have tried to define the format in the respective drivers. When we then try to print from an external environment, the printer setting in drivers is not the same as the once shown from the external environment.

However if i set the Labels printer as the "standard printer" (dont know what its is called in eng), the problem of printing the right format labels, seems to be solved. But the problem with this solution is, that when i then try to print on a normal
printer (A4), things looks really wired. It seems like tha... Read more

Hello, not sure if this is the correct area to ask, but I've noticed that my E drive's label is stuck as "OS Install" when there is no label assigned. I thought at first there was a label assigned to it and followed renaming labels option 3 on the forums (as a DVD drive was assigned to the letter). But when I assigned a USB drive to the E drive after switching out the dvd drive's letter, I noticed that it keeps the "OS Install" as default label instead of the normal "removable disk" when no label is assigned. This held true with the internal hard drive's partition as well. However when I assigned a drive label such as "CRUZER", it would change to the assigned label. As I like to have my E drive be the dvd drive, I don't want to see this weird label on it when I didn't assign it. If anyone knows a solution or can help me to try to find one, it would be great! I've attached pictures to explain better

Hi, I have been unsuccessfully trying to publish a 55min windows movie maker project to a DVD - R 4.7GB disc using windows DVD maker. The project is made up of mostly .MOD files with a few .AVI. The DVD maker program starts encoding and after 1 to 2 hours and only 30% ish encoded stops and displays pop up box just saying encoding error. I've tried several times to do it but the same thing happens. Also spent all last night searching for a solution. Some suggestions were a codec but I could find/work out what that meant. Can anyone help me? I'm so frustrated as I've spent so long cutting the clips and it will take forever to do it all again in a different program. Help please . Admittedly I don't know much about how things work so hopefully there's a simple solution (fingers crossed).

Thanks

OS is Vista Home Premium. I'm using Windows Movie Maker to edit home videos (add music, shorten videos) in attempt to make DVD. When I try to use Windows DVD Maker to create a DVD it stalls during "encoding". I've tried to make a DVD using the same videos with just Windows DVD Maker - it worked. I then tried to use the same videos in Movie Maker (un-edited) and then make DVD with Windows DVD Maker - it worked. It seems to be some type of encoding issue. How can I solve this issue?

Answer:Windows Movie Maker to DVD Maker mess

If it is working with unedited files it may be a problem with the audio(music) files and their encoding. Try with some other music files from a different source and see if that allows you to burn.
You could try downloading and installing GSpot 2.70a an analysis tool, usually used for video analysis, but will analyse audio as well. Once installed open it and open your music file in it. On the LHS panel it will tell you which audio codec is needed to encode/decode your file and if you have the correct codec on your computer.
The K-Lite codec pack (link in my signature) has a number of audio and video codecs bundled and may be worth installing.

Answer:dvd maker & movie maker 'dep' error

Hello Shanley,

You might see if doing a clean install instead with your upgrade Vista from XP may work better for you instead. Be sure to have all of your device drivers for Vista handy before to make it easier to install them afterwards. Sometimes doing a upgrade from XP to Vista will result in compatibility issues with remnants of the XP install still in the Vista installation.

Clean Install From Upgrade Vista

Hope this helps,

I still don't get why MS ripped these neat programs out. They were certainly available in Windows 7, no idea about whether they were in 8 as I skipped right over that OS.

I am interested in trying to install them on my Windows 10 laptop. I know they can be re acquired via live essentials or something like that. But I would prefer standalone install for both. I don't want all the other bloat that live essentials has. Plus it has things like live mail in it and I wouldn't want to risk conflict with the native mail app already on 10 etc. So is there a way to standalone install these from a safe source?

I need some help from you fine folks who are so good at graphics and editing. I'm still such a rookie at it! I need a DVD label for the movie "Marty", however, as with many of the DVD labels that you can download and print out, the only one I can find is for a label with the smaller hole. However the face of Earnest Borgnine is blocked when I use it for a label with the bigger hole cut out (Sorry I don't know the terminology)

So I need it, re-shuffled around so that you can see the name of the movie on the top and some of Earnest below somewhere. I've attached a label of Death Wish to illustrate what it is I'm talking about. That's the kind of label I need. I've also attached something for you to work with, in addition of an example of how it looks with the face cut off, which is just plain dumb!.

Question: [email protected]

I recently became aware that this program by Corel was functioning as it were behind scenes and I am curious. My limited research says its function is network monitoring??
Opening the folder under program files does not seem to reveal any access icons so
I assume I have no control over this program. Could someone point me to a resource that tells me more about this program.
Thanks

This program used to be part of the Corel DVD MoveieFactory. Newer vesions of the MovieFactory still have the ability to burn labels butthe feature has a different name now - LabelFlash and LabelScribe. There is also customizable label printing.

If you have trouble with this program, you can try the following (depending on how did you get the program in the first place):

Reinstall MovieFactory or obtain newer version of it;
Contact Corel Support;
Contact your laptop support (if it came pre-installed).

You should also make sure the program is not infected, so run the Malwarebytes and your residident virus scanner.

Question: VB Label help

Hello,
I would like to know a couple of things about how to make labels visible during run time, after you have set the label to invisible in the properties window??
What I am trying to do, is when the user passes the mouse over the location where the invisible label is, it will become visible. Then the user can click on it, and make changes necessary. Even a command button would also work for this.
Thanks

Bear

Answer:VB Label help

You have to code this behaviour. You have to subscribe to the mouseenter event of the label. When the user moves the pointer over your label (enters), set the visible property of the label to true. You can subscribe to the mouseleave event. When the user leaves the area of the label, set the visible property to false.

I know only Visual Basic.NET, so you may have to adobt these to Visual Basic.

Can someone make me a full DVD label, but with measures taken for image and text to fit on a label that uses the larger hole in the middle. I apologize for the ugliness of the attached JPEG, but it's either this or just create something way to plain on my own. If possible, I'd like the text and image to be in the lower left to middle left area and just fill in the rest of the thing with that geeky orange!
