Question: Heeeelp!!!! Please =)

Hello there, and first of all, thank you for taking the time to read this!My computer issue is that everytime I start playing a full-screen game, my computer gets this checkerboard-like green and purple vertical pattern, like 4 or 5 sections of it. Sometimes, it just makes so many lines go crazy and it looks like the lines are dancing or something, and makes the game obviously unplayable. The games, if it even matters, it seems to effect every game I try fullscreened, are: Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Far Cry, World of Warcraft, and Star Wars Empires at War. Those are the only ones I have tried since having this problem, but like I said it probally will happen on any given full-screen game.-But- when I run the same game in windowed mode (even if I check an option that makes the borders go away and everything else, so it appears to be full screen) it works just perfectly. If I think of anything else to add to this I will, and I'll keep checking back frequently. Also, I am not the sharpest tool in the toolbox when it ocmes to computers, but my PC is a few years old, and the video card is only 1 year old. The video card is a Radeon x800 (I could be totally wrong, but I think it's something like that...) and my computer is a eMachienes. I have never had this problem before untill very recently, so it puzzles me... :-?If I can get full-screen games working again I will love you forever! (Because I just bought a game that doesnt support a windowed mode, and I'd hate to see 50 bucks wasted)

Preferred Solution: Heeeelp!!!! Please =)

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I'm confused.

You have a broken physical keyboard? Get a new one.

Your exclamation mark and x key don't work on the onscreen keyboard (but then how did you type it? c & p?)

Or is this a laptop and the physical keyboard not work?

Just a month ago everything was working normal. But since then... terror!!!
I have a HP Plavillion dv9900us w/
Processor AMD Turion 64 x2
Graphics by NVidia
Hard disk drives 250 GB of memory
OS is Windows 7, installed 6 months ago.
Vista was previous OS (pre-installed).
It doesn't matter whether I am working with text editor, graphic designing or watching a movie or else, the computer shuts down without any clear reason.
It tends to get quite hot and won't start 'till it cools a bit, but after rebooting it says the following:
Blue screen
OS Version 6.1.7600.
Locale ID 1071
BCCode 124

BCP 3 00000000
BCP 4 00000000
OS Version 6_1_7600
Service pack 0_0

I did follow instruction from the site so enclosed to this thread there's a .zip file containing whatever information were gathered during the test.
Looking forward for the solution to this issue.

How hot is quite hot? Have you measured the temps? Download and install Speedfan.

Unfortunately, there is no dumpfile. Please follow these instructions:

Question: Heeeelp

Can somebody please help me. Had a problem with XP (kept logging me off) talking to the PC helpline they instructed me to reinstall XP (not a clean install it was over the original) which I have done but now all of my settings have gone. How can I restore my original information. Eg Outlook express thinks there are no accounts set up, My PC seems to think I do not have Office installed but I do. My original @My documents" folder is still on the C Drive but how do I make this my new default folder (is this making sense???). Also my screen seems to be flickering when I use any scroll bars

Short of using the recovery console (assuming you mae a restore point before all this mess started) there's nothing you can do to get your settings back.

As for the flickering, you may just want to update your video drivers.

Question: heeeelp!!!

I got a computer today and ran lots of programs with no problems. Very fast, very cool...until I played Nascar Racing 2003. With high resolution, the game ran at 20 fps then crashed. With low resolution, it ran at 30 fps, got to play for few minutes, then crash!

Is this happening because of my low RAM (256MB minus what video card is using) or cheap video card? Does a cheap sound card have any play in this problem?

I would like to get new RAM (Crucial 512MB DDR PC-2700) and ATI Radeon 9600SE video card.

Will this cure my gaming/crashing problem? What is the bare minimum to play games fast, high details, and NO crashes?

If I do get both, do I add the new RAM card next to old one? Do I toss out old card, or do I replace old with new and place old card in secondary slot? Hope this makes sense.

For RAM, is it better to go with 2 256MB cards or 1 512MB?
I don't plan on going to 1024MB.

Also, I use to be able to check what % my RAM was at by right clicking "My Computer," but with Windows XP I can't find that option. Any thoughts?

Sorry if this is another repetitive newbie post...i really appreciate your support! Thanks

Good evening all I write u now from Quick Start browser. I did a great mistake. I had by default Windows7 and I installed windowsXP black edition. This is my first contact with netbooks and I wanted to lear how can I boot system from USB. So, I installed windowsXP bBlack edition.  I did format the HDD. Now, I want to go back to windows7 with Recovery Tool (you know, the arrow next to power button) but an error message appears and I don't know what to do because even after the error message, i cant approach default windows. So, (1) i cant use recovery tool (doesnt work properly) and (2) the only tools i got are a. BIOS and b. QuickStart Oh, thank you Lenovo for Quick Start!!!! P L E A S E  H E L P   M E

Answer:HEEEELP S10-2 windows7

I am not aquainted with your unit, but most netbooks have a couple of partitians on the hard drive.  One of them is the restore information.  If you formatted the entire drive the restore part is probably gone.  If you only formatted the C: partition the restore should be on D: or some other partition. If you did format the whole drive and you did not make backup cds I'd guess you are out of luck on restoring.  Some manufacturers sell restore disks so you might give yours a call if someone else doesn't come up with an answer for you.

the main purpose of this laptop is to record professional audio...but its not possible at the moment because irq16 has 4 devices on anything over 4 tracks of audio and it starts glitching out.

the bios doesn't seem to want to allow me to get out of plug and play mode...and windows of course isnt allowing changes to be made, even in safe mode.

Hey, I know that you people have ALLWAYS done such an awesome job on everything that I have ever had problems with!!!! You folks are GREAT!!!!!!!!
Sooooo, here goes another prob.
My sister-in-law says that...when she turned on her 'puter everything started normal....then..she says, 'Windows stopped right in the middle. The screen went black..and, in the middle of the screen was.." Something to do with HIMEM.SYS. and 'please increase file statement yada yada And she is stuck!!! Really stuck.
I DO know that...She has NEVER been on line. AND...she assures me that she is the ONLY one that touches her 'puter.
If any of ya can figure out what the dickens is wrong with the little that I spit out about this would be a jovial thing!!!! hahaha
I WILL have some more info from her as soon as I get off of here and call her to get more details...
Beins as..... I only have one phone line and I am destined to phone lines forever.....AARRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks again!!!!!

Answer:HIMEM.SYS heeeelp...please

We need to know what operating system she has, what exactly that error message is, and what, if any, new software or hardware (including any driver updates) she may have done just prior to the error showing up. Plus when exactly does the error pop up? In the middle of loading Windows? In the middle of using some particular software?

The devil is in the details.

Hi there, I just found out I had spoolsvc.exe running in my processes. I looked into it and found out it's some kind of trojan/virus. I have Norton Anti-virus, I continually update it, but it doesn't pick it up. I'm not suprised because Norton is just a big waste of money. It doesn't find any viruses, but when it finds something, it will tell you it can't delete it. But I'm getting off the subject here. I have tried trojan hunter to get rid of this spoolsvc.exe, but no luck. I even ran the latest updates. I don't want to try and manually delete this thing in fear that I might screw up my comp. Anyone know any program or way that I can get rid of this thing?

Answer:Need help getting rid of SPOOLSVC.EXE. Heeeelp!

Hi Budo_Shadow,

Where there is one, there are often many more. With that in mind, I suggest that you start with the Cleanup Tutorial HERE:
READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan and Virus Removal

Please note the steps that you are able to complete and the ones that give you problems. Note that you need to be in Safe Mode with System Restore OFF (if you have it - you didn't give OS) and have the Viewing of Hidden Files ENABLED as per the instructions in the link. Make sure to do the Online Scans.

Post back and let us know how you fared and somebody should be able to assist you if you still need help.

Best luck

I created the query below in access 2000 and got:

SELECT Contracts.ContractNumber, Contracts.Invoice, Sum(ContractInvoices.InvoiceValue) AS SumOfInvoiceValue,
([SumOfInvoiceValue]/[Invoice])*100 AS PercExpended
FROM Contracts INNER JOIN ContractInvoices ON Contracts.ContractNumber = ContractInvoices.ContractNumber
GROUP BY Contracts.ContractNumber, Contracts.Invoice;

ContractNumber Invoice SumOfInvoiceValue PercExpended
11 added $1,100,000.00 1388666 126.242363636364
5 $500,000.00 1033000 206.6

9 $900,000.00 364700 40.5222222222222
(by the way, how can I avoid those crazy decimals?)

I want to get only those rows where the %-age is less than 40.
When I insert

where PercExpended < 40

to get

SELECT Contracts.ContractNumber, Contracts.Invoice, Sum(ContractInvoices.InvoiceValue) AS SumOfInvoiceValue,
([SumOfInvoiceValue]/[Invoice])*100 AS PercExpended
FROM Contracts INNER JOIN ContractInvoices ON Contracts.ContractNumber = ContractInvoices.ContractNumber where PercExpended < 40
GROUP BY Contracts.ContractNumber, Contracts.Invoice;

I pasted this back in Access query sql window, ran it and I got queried for PercExpended??

Can someone help???

Answer:SQL Problem. Heeeelp!!!

Lets address the second point first, you cannot use a calculated column in a where clause, you have to repeat the calculation itself:

SELECT Contracts.ContractNumber, Contracts.Invoice, Sum(ContractInvoices.InvoiceValue) AS SumOfInvoiceValue,
([SumOfInvoiceValue]/[Invoice])*100 AS PercExpended
FROM Contracts INNER JOIN ContractInvoices ON Contracts.ContractNumber = ContractInvoices.ContractNumber where ([SumOfInvoiceValue]/[Invoice])*100 < 40
GROUP BY Contracts.ContractNumber, Contracts.Invoice;

As to the first, you get these results because of the precision of the stored data, you can simplify this to return integer values or similar if this is more appropriate:

SELECT Contracts.ContractNumber, Contracts.Invoice, Sum(ContractInvoices.InvoiceValue) AS SumOfInvoiceValue,
CInt(([SumOfInvoiceValue]/[Invoice])*100) AS PercExpended
FROM Contracts INNER JOIN ContractInvoices ON Contracts.ContractNumber = ContractInvoices.ContractNumber where CInt(([SumOfInvoiceValue]/[Invoice])*100) < 40
GROUP BY Contracts.ContractNumber, Contracts.Invoice;

I proceeded to "update" but no joy(perhaps this was also why in the past i wasn't able to download clipart and templates ) however my dilema now is why are these files damaged( as i would have noticed it in the past) and what could i perhaps do to rectify this?? Hi I'm new on the forum.

I read some of the rules about the forum, I'm terribly sorry if I didn't take enough time to prevent rule breaking but I'm desperate.

I have that classic black screen error everybody is scared of when I turn my PC on. It's a Toshiba laptop, I've tried several times repairing the startup and repairing the memory. I read the description of another post regarding the problem with the black screen when starting Windows 7 (64-bits), which I happen to have. I even used the FRST64 but I know I need a specific fixlist for my problem. So I'll leave my FRST.txt description exactly as it is.

PD: Yes I have Windows 7, yes it's 64 bits. Thank you very much guys!

Hello and Welcome to TSF!!!!

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

Go to My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab:
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm and then click OK.

For the options that you checked/enabled earlier, you may uncheck them after your log is clean. If we ask you to fix a program that you use or want to keep, please post back saying that (we don't know every program that exists, so we may tell you to delete a program that we think is bad to keep).

Make sure you downloaded, installed, updated and ran these programs already - Ad-aware, Spybot and Microsoft AntiSpyware. If you didn't, do them now. For more information, go to

Run an online virus scan at TrendMicro Just follow the instructions on the site to run the free online scan. If any viruses/trojans are detected, try to delete or clean them in that site. Hello! Welcome to TechSpot!

System specs will be helpfull.

Have you been getting warranty replacements from Samsung?
Have they given any info or thought as to what they think is going on?
I suppose it's possible to get 5 bad ones in a row, if so, I wouldn't go
any where near a casino just now.

One of our users get an error message after a few seconds when he enters some webpages, (for example

The error message says: "Unknown software exception [0xeedfade]" occurrred in the application at location 0x7952bcb1"

The only thing to do is press OK and then IE shuts down.
The problem is not consistent and it "grows". A page he has visited before, with no problem, suddenly does not work.

We are using w2k and IE6 version 6.0.2800.1106 SP1
No one else at the company have the same problem. Tried to reinstall IE but that did not work. Any solution??

Ok, here's the scoop. I have to use a Dial up networking connection to connect to a VPN to access specific programs needed for work. But I also need to access a website for work that lags out through the VPN. I tried to set it up so everything gets routed through my local gateway, and set static routes for the addresses I needed to access through the VPN. But I also need access to multiple ip addresses in the range that I couldn't add each one individually. Is there a way to add an entire ip range to a static route? My only other option is to add that one webpage I need to a static route that will route through my local gateway, the only problem is the dns server for the VPN holds an internal IP address for the website. Where as I need to access it from the public internet ip address. So adding the website's public IP address to the static route does nothing as it tries to revert back to the domain name and attempts to resolve the ip address. Only way I can think to get this working is to have a static route for the dns name ( and have any traffic to that website routed through my local gateway, if that's even possible.
I appreciate any help that you guys can provide.

Answer:Static routes... HEEEELP!

I'm a bit confused on how your network flow is going. And it looks like your VPN connection allows split tunneling. It is not a problem to add static routes both based on a contiguous range of IPs or multiple individual IPs. I'm not sure if you understand the concept of subnets and subnet masks.

But using your example above and picking some arbitrary IPs plus assuming you're talking about a Windows box, you can do individual IP static routes by issuing a command like this: route -p add mask . The is the target IP you're trying to reach. The after the mask option states this is a single host. And the defines what your gateway is to reach the target IP. And the -p after the route command states this route is to be persistent and not go away if you reboot the box. You can then follow up with the next destination host IP by issuing a similar command of route -p add mask and so on.

If you want to do a range of contiguous IPs, you would use a modified structure to the command. Say you want to reach all IPs within the range of IPs from through, you would issue a static route command like this: route -p add mask .

1)playing game and lightning strikes causing my comp to freeze
2)so i turn it off
3) i turn it on later and my mouse and keyboard dont work and also the "status" light on my modem doesnt come on
4) do ihave to buy a new mouse and keyboard?

Answer:AHH computer messed up! heeeelp please

is it still plugged into the ups? If it is try moving the plug for the cpu to the wall outlet if it works then the ups is fried. If not then (if they are usb) try moving the connections to different ports. If that still doesn't work try a different mouse and keyboard.

Both PC1 and PC2 are using XP sp2 with same updates. I even formated the C drive of PC 2, so i don't think it's a bug, in the run>cmd>ipconfig ip address is correct. in the task bar, the Wireless Ranlink Lan card details is detecting the MSI router perfectly. in PC 2 I do not have a Lan socket so i can't connect the pc directly to the router or ISP moden my internet connection is a local Cable network

Run the ipconfig again but add /all after the ipconfig [with a space between the two] this will show the whole ipconfig details including the name of the workgroup and PC. It may be one of those that has changed? Also check the Event Viewer for any errors that are related to the connection. Event Viewer: Start/Control Panel/Adminastrative Tools/Event Viewer/system log.

Hiya peeps.Been having some serious problems with my sound on my PC and i have no idea whats wrong with it.Im running an Asus P5N-E SLI motherboard with an onboard Realtek HD audio chip on a WINXPSP2 O/S.Its a really strange issue, when windows starts i get the windows logon sound, so i know its installed and working corectly, however while the PC is starting up and sorting itself out, the little volume icon in tbe bottom right hand corner disapears, and when i got into the control panel and click on "Sounds And Audio Devices" everything is greyed out and it says "No Audio Device Installed".This is where it gets REALLY wierd, it appears in the dvice manager fine, so i know its there, windows simply wont pick it up as a usuable device.I Have tried the following to get it to work.- Uninstalled and Re-installed latest sound drivers- Checked to make sure the "Windows Audio" service is running in services list and is set to "AUTO" (Which it is)- Checked to make sure that the onboard audio is enabled in the BIOS (Which it is)- Installed the UAA Function Driver for HD Audio Realtek 860/880Its seriously driving me insain, iv been sat here for the last 5 1/2 hours trying to get it to work. I Really dont understand why it plays the windows sound fine, then simply decides not to recognise its there anymore.

Answer:No Sound - Realtek HD Audio - HEEEELP!

Answer:System infected! Please URGENT HEEEELP !!

You cannot fix files in System Restore using any scanner. You must toggle system restore per the directions in step 8 of the READ ME.

The file may or may not be a problem. It could possibly be from your mouse. What kid of mouse are you using?

In the future, please attach proper text logs (not screen snap shots) from BitDefender online scan as requested in the READ ME.

Why are you running only BitDefender Online scan? Did you have malware problems that prompted you to run it?

Unsolicited advice that doesn't help your problem.

I use Firefox 1.5 (it's free) which sits ontop of the OS rather than embedded in it, so it's fundamentally safer than IE6. Also, if you install download SpyBot S&D you can adjust settings so that nothing can hijack your IE home page.

Apologies if you already knew this.

I just got this laptop, and today when I powered it up, the TOSHIBA logo screen just sat there. It wouldn't go through the the I guess the bios pages before it go to the Microsoft windows screen.
So I unplugged it,but it still had power 'cause of the battery(I'm NEW at this laptop thing).
So I removed the battery too,as in trying to reboot(?).
I power it up again, and this this time it did it's scroll of the "bios" screen, then it stopped at the end of it.
I did read just skimmed and it asked it I wanted to do something to hit either "this' or "that" key, I hit one of them.
Well, now a password box opens.............I was told "A" password, thinking it was that, but it was wasn't, I tried 3 more times.........3 strikes your out,it powered off.
We call TOSHIBA,and got this guy from out of this country trying to help..........NOT.
Now he said to ship the lap top to the company so they can look at it.

Is there a way to by pass this,we tried to use the disk, but without the mysterious password,it's a no go.

It won't boot to disk, can't get pass the bios.

Now I get..."No TPM or TPM has problem".

I got an email this morning from Paypal, saying that a $39.00 purchase had been approved by me and "here is your receipt...blah blah blah..."

It said that if I disputed the purchase to "click here", which looked to be a Paypal link ( but instead of the link, it takes you to a different website. The business was called "astalavista Group GmbH".

Anyhow, I figured out that it was a spoof and didnt give any info because system prevented me from viewing the website (bad security certificate) I then went to Paypal, reported the spoof email and checked to make sure there was no payment made for $39.00. Everything looks question is:

Was clicking on the link to go to that site the wrong thing to do? I did not give any info because it didnt even fully load before I was blocked but I still worry that I might have automatically downloaded something just by clicking on the link. I'm hoping they were trying to scam me by hoping i'd log into the site and enter my password. (which I didnt) But i'm not sure if there's something else they might have done without me being aware of it. Remember, all I did was click on the link, the page would not load due to the site's bad security certificate and then I closed the window.

I have the website's address if anyone wants to see it. (wasnt sure if I should post it or not)

Help! Is there anything else I need to do? I would have a heart attack if anyone ever ... Read more

Hi Guys
It seems that there have been several calls for help about what seem to be very similar problems to this but I do not want to blindly follow directions that are not specific to my system and cause greater problems.

All search links are being directed to bogus advert and anti virus sites in all search engines visited on Firefox, IE and Chrome

I am running Windows XP and I'm fairly sure the problem is self inflicted by installing shared software but the fix is way beyond my abilities.

I have AVG free installed and up to date and Spybot S&D neither of which stopped or detected the infection.

I have tried the following to fix the problem ... each have found various problems that the residents didn't but the problem remains

Malwarebytes - AntiMalware
Spyware Doctor - This says that it finds

I am a little suspicious of software that tells you it can fix problems only if you pay money so I haven't gone any further with this.

Ok so my HJT log is as follows and if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very VERY grateful

I've since managed to fix the problem, which was specific to CA security.

^ this blogger said to just turn off pop-up blocking, but I decided to go ahead and uninstall it since I never really liked CA :S

And afterwards it worked perfectly! Using Avira AntiVir and Comodo firewall now instead and so far so good.

Hi! So i've spent the past 10 hours or so trying to fix a problem which i kind of get the feeling I caused.

I'd left my laptop running for quite a long time (apparently 10 days - part of the problem?) and over that time it had been getting slower and slower, so now that I didn't need all the pages and slides and things I started closing all of them, ready to shut the computer down.

In my curiosity I was watching the pagefile and cpu usage on the task-manager come down with each program I closed (I know, lame), and for some reason thought it would be a good idea to close "internet explorer" which seemed to be running in the background and eating resources despite it being closed.

I didn't remember "explorer.exe" was maybe, possibly, actually a crucial system process used for navigation until I'd clicked "end process", which was then confirmed by the entire desktop disappearing.

So I rebooted it, it ran okay, and I was alerted to three new available updates (one for Java, one for Flash and one for horricreepy Live 'u... Read more

I have a new Yoga 3 11, 64-bit, Windows 8.1 OS, running Windows Defender as my antivirus software as I've had no issues with it in the past. After about 1 month of use I did an Virus/Spyware Update and the next day the touch screen and bluetooth drivers were not working. Not only that, but Bluetooth option was completely removed from the PC Settings. At that time I didn't realize what update caused the driver issues, so I called Lenovo and wasted an entire day while they tried a bunch of troubleshooting resulting in the conculsion that "There's something wrong with your drivers." Rather than be without my computer for 10 days to have them send it back in the same condition (what usually happens), I reset the system to a previous point in time. Poof no problem, but I had to reinstall a bunch of programs.

Fast forward to today, and the only update that was installed yesterday was Virus/Spyware Definitions for Windows Defender. Computer sat spinning on "Shutting Down" this morning when I tried to boot it up. Again, Bluetooth and touchscreen not working, Bluetooth doesn't show up in PC Settings. The Defender update shows as installed successfully under Control Panel - View Your Update History, but no way to uninstall it as it does not show up under Uninstall Updates. (Not that I think that would help, because the drivers are already jacked up).

HELP Please! I cannot be without my computer and Lenovo "repairs" are horrible, anywa... Read more

Answer:HEEEELP! Windows Defender Updates Uninstalling Drivers

Do you have the Disk that has the drivers, or do you have access to the Drive partition that they are on?
If so reinstall the drivers, after the update.
If not go here: Home - Lenovo Support (US) get the drivers you need and reinstall them.

OK i have run out of places to turn. My computer got some manner of virus or trojan horse or something. I formatted my Hard drive, but now i put my winxp cd into my drive, and after i push the key to boot from the CD, it hangs at the message "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration..."

i think it may be an issue with my hard drive. My roommate (whose computer i have access to) says that i may have fried it somehow, or it may be a boot sector error.

If anyone can help me with this, and perhaps give me a link to where i can get a free boot sector fix that can fit on a floppy, i would greatly appreciate it. I AM IN NEED OF SOME SERIOUS HELP HERE!!!!!!

Answer:Heeeelp Meee!!!!! Windows Xp Home Install Not Working

I really messed up this time. I am using my husband's computer because mine won't boot. I get the message:
"Windows didn't start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware. Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your reference manuals for additional information."

Well, that sort of thing is beyond me. But first, my system and how I got into this mess:
Dell Dimension 8200
Pentium 4, 2.00GHz
WinXP Home Ed.

Trying to get rid of the screen that prompts you on boot-up to select an OS and counts down the seconds, I went from My Computer>Properties>Advanced and unchecked the first box, the one that has a place to the right where you say how many seconds to display the OS choice. I had changed that choice to "0" many times, but eventually the choice screen always came back, so I got the idea of unchecking the whole box.

Then--I forget exactly which part of Properties this was in--I found the two OSs listed. They were the same, except that the one that was selected had a few words after it that began with "No"--maybe "No selection"? (This problem of having to make a choice on boot-up started when the computer was new and something went wrong and a Dell technician had me reinstall the OS.) I thought maybe I could get rid of the annoyance by selecting the other OS, and did it.

I also looked... Read more
