Windows 7 (Live) Email Printing Support

Question: Windows 7 (Live) Email Printing Support

Hi
We have recently had Windows 7 installed at our small business, we are having a problem with printing specific emails, when we reply to an email that has an image in the signature and we quote using £ symbols on reply, when we print the email out the £ symbol turns into a square.
We have changed it to plain text formatting which allows us to have the £ symbol but we loose our signature (as this is htm attachement) and email formatting (lots of double line spacing)
We are printing through a network using infotec MP201 which has latest drivers and Windows 7 64 Professional

Preferred Solution: Windows 7 (Live) Email Printing Support

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I didn't notice this before today. I'm running the 64 bit version of Windows 10 Pro, fully up to date, as well as the latest version of Windows Live Mail. I have a bunch of storage folders that I've created for email, so my actual inboxes are pretty much always empty as any mail I want to keep gets put into a storage folder.

When I do a search inside the program, all it's searching are the email subjects, not the actual contents of the messages.

Any idea how to fix this? I know this was an issue in the 64 bit version of Windows 7, as seen here.....

https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/969165

.....but I'd have thought this would have been fixed by now! Is that fix still valid for Windows 10, or is there another solution? I really don't want to have to switch to another email client if I can help it.

Thanks!

Answer:Windows Live Mail only searching email subjects, not email contents

I have been having the same trouble, which was just noticed...
Windows Live Mail does not search "contents" of messages anymore... just searches names and message subject line.
Hope to find an answer as I hate to switch to another mail client, but I absolutly need the search functionality.

I can open an email and open an attachment on that email.

I can look on my harddrive and find the same email text file easily enough on my harddrive, and open that text file using notepad.

But I cannot find where the attachment(s) is stored on the harddrive? I've looked everywhere.

The reason is that I want to write a program that will archive windows live emails - and their attachments.

Thanks

I have an email I get on a regular basis that I can see who it's from and the subject line but the body of the email is blank. I have problems with it in WLM but I can view it just fine in web mail and from my iPhone. Not sure if it's an issue on the end of the person who's sending it or an issue with WLM but since I can view it completely in web mail and on my iPhone I would think it's something with WLM. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Answer:Body of email not showing in one particular email in Windows Live Mail

Hi, I finally was able to talk with someone from the place that was sending the email in question I was having issues with. They found out their emails are not compatible with WLM but are working on a resolution. I'm not sure what kind of email service they're using but it's not like WLM is some obscure mail client. Anyway, I'm marking this as solved even though I've received a few emails from them since and still having the issue of nothing in the body of the message. Now that they've figured out what the issue is I hope they fix it soon.

I've read information regarding the steps to import email from Outlook Express (XP) into Windows Live Mail (Vista), but, my question pertains to how that works when we already have quite a bit of email in the Windows Live Mail folders. I had to temporarily swap out systems to the old XP computer while checking into a problem with the Vista system and accumulated quite a bit of new email into Outlook Express that now needs to be moved into the Windows Live Mail folders to bring that back up-to-date. Will that just be added to what is already there or will it overlay anything? Just need to know how that process will impact current contents of the email folders in the Vista PC.

Thanks.

Set up windows 7 with microsft live email. emails com in and go out ok. emails with attachemtns inbound are ok. when I send an email out with a photo ( have not triesd other attachements) it splits it up into 20 to 30 emails with jiberish and no photo and get an error notification. i have outlook on this as well and it works fine in bound and out bound. I have used the same settings. again this is only when there is a photo attached when I see this problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

Answer:windows live email splitting up email w/ attachement

Just a guess. But, I think it is your ISP. Somtimes they limit what cant be sent out with POP, to stop spam. For your information there are two ways to send a photo; as an attachment and as part of the email. You may want to look into that.

I've reluctantly moved from Windows Mail to WLM with which I am not over-enthralled for various reasons. Amongst my difficulties is being able to print an email from the specific, individual email screen without having to go via the 'File, Print' option. Can anyone suggest how this may be done ? Thanks.

Answer:Windows Live Mail - printing

You can simply right click the mail in your inbox and select print which is the second option
But if you mean you have double clicked the email to load in its own windows then you can click the home button top left then right click the print option and you have the option to "add to quick access toolbar"
This will add a print shortcut to the top of the window bar whenever you open another email, if that's still to far for you to move the mouse you also have the option to move the shortcut bar under the ribbon so it sits on top of your email text page

Hope this helps

Heyas all,I'm trying to contact the Windows Live ID support team. Oddly enough,it's almost impossible to find their contact details.I have two active Xbox Live subscriptions going out on two different credit cards. Now, I need access to the Windows Live ID's/Accounts that these cards are tied to, in order to recover my Xbox Live gamertags. However, when setting up my Xbox live accounts I used secondary LIVE ID's/Passports that I have forgotten the details for. It's entirely possible that I created the accounts using throw-away hotmail accounts. Which means, I have no chance of guessing the secret questions and stuff.I have a couple of questions for you guys:Considering that I have the actual credit card details in question, what can I do to get back my accounts? What other information will I have to provide to recover my accounts?--How the hell do you contact Windows Live Customer Care directly? Having already sent an E-Mail to Xbox.com I was instructed to contact Windows Live ID support. And I quote:...you maycontact Windows Live ID support:1.Visit click here, and then click Account Services. 2.Click Customer Support to view the Customer Support page. 3.Click Contact us to view the Support Home page. 4.Complete the e-mail support form on the Support Home page...I've searched all over, and cannot find "Customer Support" to click, ANYWHERE on the login live pages. For anybody wondering, the information I do have about my Xbox Live accounts is fairly limited:I know the credit ... Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, so if I make any faux pas please bear with me!

Anyway my problem is with Windows Live and the fact that whenever I get PayPal payment notices they appear right in the middle of the viewing pane (central aligned to the page) and therefore when I print them out, they print out with the right side of the page missing.

PayPal emails are the only ones that show up right in the middle of the page and won't print out correctly. All other emails show up left side aligned to the page.

Can anyone help with this problem?
I'm getting a bit fed up of having to write in the missing details.

Regards,
Suze

Answer:Help with printing PayPal notices in Windows Live

Hello Suze and welcome to Seven Forums.

The only faux pas so far is using words like faux pas. This is an international Forum. Us peoples in the Colonies don't got no good edjumacations to unnerstan' stuff like that.

As to your problem, it's hard to determine if it's a PayPal issue or a Windows Live issue. Since the PayPal emails are the only ones not cooperating, it might be easier to use a work-around just for them rather than trying to isolate the cause. Are you able to see the entire email contents when they show up in the middle of the page? If yes you could probably use one of the free PDF readers to convert it to a PDF file and print it out from there.

Nitro PDF Reader

Or perhaps even the built in snipping tool to save it as a JPEG or HTML file or Print Screen to save to Paint and print from there. I know it's not the greatest thing having to add a few extra steps, but if you don't have to deal with an unusually large number of PayPal emails it may be the simplest solution.

Sorry for not having anything better to offer.

Hope this is posted in the right forum. Sometimes I can print an e-mail message in Windows Live Mail and it prints with no difficulty. Other times, the text will run off the right side margin and I will then have to reduce the size of the mail percentage so all of the text will print. Then, the text is so small I almost have to use a magnifying glass to read the message. What am I missing or is this just collateral damage from using web based mail?

Answer:Windows live mail printing problem

It is possible that the issue is caused by a corrupted program file in Windows Live Mail. Repair Windows Live Mail by following the steps below:

Go to Control Panel.
Under Programs, click Uninstall a Program.
Locate Windows Live Essential 2011 then click Uninstall/Change.
When a window appears, select Repair all Windows Live programs.
Restart your computer after the repair.

Hi Everyone,

I am experiencing a very strage printing issue in Windows Live Mail.

My computer has a couple of printers connected, one is a label printer, and one is a standard A4 printer.

The label printer is set to print in Letter size (by default) and the A4 printer is set to print in A4 (by default).

If my A4 printer is set as the default Windows printer and I attempt to print an email all is fine.

However if my label printer is set as the default printer (this is my preference) and I manually choose to print through the A4 printer, then the resulting print comes out in Letter size!

This is only occuring in Windows Live Mail, if I manually choose my A4 printer in Excel, Word, etc the resulting print comes out fine (e.g.: in A4 rather than Letter size).

Here is a screen shot of my A4 printers default setting in Windows Control Panel:

http://www.systemcontrol.com.au/dd/Pref_Control_Panel.jpg

Here is a screen shot of the default settings for my A4 printer when printing from Windows Live Mail:

http://www.systemcontrol.com.au/dd/Pref_Live_Mail.jpg

It appears that Windows Live Mail is basing default print settings on my label printer (which is set to Letter) rather than my A4 printer (which is set to A4).

If anybody has any suggestions on how I can make Windows Live Mail respect the print size defaults that are setup in Control Panel they will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Davo

I have Windows Live Mail on a Windows 10 platform. When I print emails recently the header area (From, Date, To, and Subject) prints out in black instead of the normal white background with black text. This is a recent development. Does anyone know where I can go in the options to fix this so it does not print out a black background in the header area? It is just a waste of ink. hi guys here's the issue. WLM is seriously driving me nuts with it's forced updates to a very fragile and buggy new version and not having a choice not to update and continue using the older version. i am a webcam/webchat freak and i loved WLM 8 and ealier because they were less bloated and did the job with ease. i have switched to emesene which is great for your average chatting and use of custom emoticons etc. if only it had great webcam support i wouldn't be asking for your help. i have tried amsn, trillian, digsby, pidgin etc, and tried web based clients such as meebo and iloveim. i am having very little joy with these alternatives. can anyone please suggest good alternatives or plugins to the apps i have mentioned to fully support webcam chats especially two way video conversations or more etc. thanks in advance

Hi,
Recently every time I open Windows Live Mail a message appears stating 'Initialisation of RSS feed support failed. RSS feeds could not be updated'. I do not use any feeds and have none set up. I have tried under Options-Feeds setting update feeds to 'Never' but this makes no difference. I use windows 7 home premium and up to a few days, WLM was workink fine.
Please can you help me remove this error message.

Answer:Windows live mail problem with RSS feed support

Hi ungaby,

You may try the following steps and see if they help:

1. Verify settings in 'Windows Live Mail'

- Open 'Windows Live Mail' > Click 'Views tab' > Click 'Quick Views' button at the top (Should produce a whole list of items; and verify the 'feed items' that are checked
- Uncheck all and close the list

- Re-open 'Windows Live Mail' and check if the 'RSS feed error' still occurs

2. Also check settings in 'Internet Explorer':
- Internet Explorer > Internet Options > Content > > Feeds and Web Slices > Settings button > clear the 'Turn on in page Web Slice discovery check box' (You may also refer to this article for detailed steps: Web Slices: frequently asked questions

Hope this helps. Do reply with the findings; glad to assist.

First off - it is definitely genuine;

The trouble for me is this: I dislike browser-based email with a passion.

Me too, as a Linux user I use Thunderbird. I probably wouldn't use the email account if I was forced to do it browser based.

I only created a MS account when I tried Windows 10 so it wont bother me. I also have an icloud account that I never access from my PC, a good email client set up right cant be beat.

Of the two screens:
1st One - Reset IE8 to defaults again. This is needed to fix RSS feeds, which are linked to IE8 from live.
Exit all programs, including Internet Explorer (if it is running).
If you use Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run. Type the following command in the Open box, and then press ENTER:inetcpl.cpl
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Reset Internet Explorer settings, click Reset. Then click Reset again.
When Internet Explorer finishes resetting the settings, click Close in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box.
Start Internet Explorer again.
2nd One - Go to Start - Setting - Control Panel. In folder options (switch to classic view if need be), select the second tab - View.

Make sure "Show Hidden files and folders" is selected.
Also make sure that "Hide externsion for known file type" and "Hide Protected operating system file (recommended)" are UNTICKED.

Should sort you out.

Hi Ron.

If you exited Live mail, then shutdown, does it restart?

Have a look at this.

Whenever i try to go on windows live to check my emails the site just seems to enter an endless loop of loading the page. If it does ever manage to load then it says that i am unbale to sign-in from this site.

- All other webpages load fine, so i know it's not my interent connection.

- I am using Mozilla Firefox as my browser. The page loads fine when i try it in Internet Explorer but not on Firefox.

- I haven't changed any settings or installed anything new lately so that can't be the problem.

ANY help will be greatly appreciated.

I use Windows Live Mail for my email client. Is there a way from within the program to click on something and have mail come down the pike again?

As of yet, I've not found a way and in order for new mail to come in, I must exit program and go back in.

Any ideas on this please, would be appreciated.

Answer:Does anyone use Windows Live Email?

If you click on "sync" it will do the send/receive function again. You should see "sync" on the toolbar. You may need to go to "view" and enable the toolbar.

I'm using windows Live email and I lost all my saved emails which were serveral hundred. I had a folder in the same root as my Inbox with sub folders and now they are gone. I would like to make a folder on the root directory of my hard drive and save them to that so this does not happen again. I have 3 hard drives so every couple of days I can just copy them over to the other 2 hard drives so this really can not happen again. What a nightmare. How can I do this?

Answer:Windows Live email?

Lets try to restore the past, before we worry about the future. Go to backup and restore, in search by staart menu. Then go back to a point prior to your loss, you will be restored and whole again. Either way let us know and we will go to the next step.

Question: Windows Live Email

I am using Windows Live email as I used to use Outlook Express with XP.

It works fine with my email provider, only it works too well. Every box I've set up with a message rule to sort incoming, I get duplicates of everything.

The main in-box doesn't. Is there a setting I've overlooked? Or duplicated?

Thanks,

I have read Phantom's link to email spoofing. Following all the frustrating posters that have had similar problems, it has led me to question whether anything can be done for my poor wife. She has used her email at live.com for about 2 years now. Starting two days ago she has been a victim of spoofing if I read it correctly. Her email contact list all received an email with a link to a prescription link to Viagara, with the title in the subject line OPA. It went out again last night. All the live.com online help says "change password" etc. If it is spoofing then that's not gonna help correct? If not, is there anything she can do or is she going to have to toast that email account? She uses it for self-employment

Answer:Windows Live Email and Spoofing

She may have to change her e-mail account.

I have had Windows Live Email for about a year now since I purchased a new Gateway computer with Windows 7. It has been fine with no issues until recently.

I am finding that people are not receiving my emails when I respond to them. However, most of the time, if I just send them a new email (not responding) they get it. I am trying to narrow down a "pattern" but there really isn't one. There have also been emails I have sent that have not been received, and also emails that have been sent to me that I haven't gotten. However I will receive emails...and I can send...but there are definite issues.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or have heard of issues like this with Windows Live? Is there anythjing I can check? I am out of ideas...

Thanks!!

Answer:Can't send email in Windows Live

Leisure Granny:
I believe the problem may be caused by the fact that Yahoo cannot be downloaded to the computer. Yahoo needs to be accessed via the web site. At least I am not aware if things have changed with yahoo. I use g-mail and it can be downloaded in Windows Live Mail. But, my understanding is that Yahoo, and AOL neither one can be....
When I had an XP computer, I was able to use a free program called Ypops, that would allow Yahoo to download, be read, and responded to. It has been a long time since I used it and I do not know if it will work with Win 7.
Perhaps someone else will respond here with more information..

My operating system is Win 7 x64 PRO
I installed Windows Live using the manual install for my ISP with POP3 and SMTP. I receive mail but cannot send it because a message pops up that it cannot find my mail server. It lists the proper SMTP server in the message but no go. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Live several times but it sets up the account automatically each time with the same problem. I even set up a new account but got the same problem. I have used repair and it said that the repair was successful, but I still can't send mail. It is very strange that Thunderbird cannot be used on a 64 bit system when it was fine when I participated in the Win 7 Beta.

Error messages are as follows :
Server cannot be found SMTP-HVC.RR.COM
Socket error 11004
Windows Live ID error 0x800CCC0D

Answer:Cannot send email on Windows Live

Welcome.

I think that the proboblem is with the settings. What you have to do is go to the website of your email provider (MSN, Yahoo etc) and get the correct settings; ports, etc). Even though it was set up automatically, many times it is done incorrectly. You will be interested in the SMTP settings (those are used for outgoing mail)

Greetings from an American in Japan .

My new HP Touchsmart 300 ( Japanese ) arrived the other day and my wife set it up yesterday . All is well , but I have a question re : Windows Live Mail . On my old Fujitsu with XP , the email was set up in such a way that no emails could be viewed unless one clicked on the mail , and opened it manually . With 7 Live the contents of the mail are automatically displayed on the right side and I'm afraid that someday mail with a virus attached will come along and it'll be too late to stop it from infecting my computer . Is there a setting that will prevent this ? How do I go about changing this setting ? I am not a techie , obviously , plus I'm dealing with a Japanese computer ( planning on upgrading to Ultimate soon so I can operate in English ) . Any help appreciated .

My Windows Live email client has apparently been hijacked because it's sending out commercial messages from my email address. I've tried 2 anti virus scans:
Malwarebytes Free Virus Scanner and
TrendMicro http://us.trendmicro.com/us/home/
and they did find a couple of viruses and worms, (which were eliminated, of course), but that didn't solve the email problem. I really don't want to change emails if I don't absolutely have to, so anyone out there have any suggestions?

And by the way, even if I do change emails, won't the old, virused email client still continue to send out these commercial emails in my name? Is there a way to close down my Windows Live Email?

Recently have not been able to receive emails-some do come over but not about 90%.  I have called and talked to my regular emailers so I know the first statement is true.  I have called my internet provider several times in the last 3 days but they cannot find anything wrong other than telling me it probably is my email provider (Windows Live Mail).  I am now getting a pop-up that states I must be on line and/or that I am working off line and do I want to go on line?  The program does not allow me to answer as when I click on yes or no, the pop up keeps returning..
I have also talked with their Security section thinking that maybe they flagged my account for some reason as one of internet provider persons stated they may have done.  I have been assured that that was not done.
Oh yes-I do check Web Mail and one that was sent to me today is in Web Mail.  That was a test from my Internet Provider-it just will not come over to my Live Mail!
I have NO problems sending emails-ONLY receiving them!
Is there an upgrade or driver that I need?  Maybe I need to switch email accounts to GMail or HotMail?
Thank you to anyone who responds.  I am very frustrated!

Answer:Email from Windows Live Mail

I don't know anything about Live Mail and how it works...but I would just uninstall/reinstall it.  There may be damaged files and the uninstall/reinstall would eliminate that suspicion.

I believe that they also have a forum...if it happens to you, chances are it's happened to someone else and come up before.

Usually your ISP will provide a way of logging in to change account settings, access your mail directly on their servers etc
Apart from that, do you have any security software that integrates with Windows Live mail?

I have a problem and a question re WLM. The problem is twice now in the four months with my new PC several emails could not be opened, moved or deleted. "Message Can Not Be Found" appears in the body. Other emails worked fine.Today I read my email OK, went to other sites etc, came back to email and those very same emails I just read now had the "Message Can not Be Found".
What's happening here and how do I prevent it? The other question regards the "Show Pictures" link. How do I show pictures permanently so I don't have to do it for each email with pictures. I run anti viruses etc regularly. Thanks.

Answer:Windows Live Mail Email

What type of e-mail account do you have? I get that message occasionally with my IMAP account, as it is still downloading the message.

As for the pictures, I've never seen an option to not prompt. For the record, it isn't about malware. When you load an HTML message, and it downloads the pictures, the sender knows it hit a valid e-mail address, and will continue to spam that address.

I upgraded my Windows live mail so now I have the ribbon and I can't get to my contacts. I have my contacts in a folder for safe keeping and I fire one up and say add to my contacts but it's not in the right folder and I can't even find where my contacts are suppose to be. Can anyone give me a helping hand because I'm old and lost a lot of brain cells.

Answer:Windows live email contacts?

If you have been signing in (either manually or automatically) each time you open WLM, your "signed-in" contact list should be visible both in WLM's "contacts" section and at the website: contacts.live.com. If you have not been signing in, then the contacts visible in the contacts setion of WLM is your "not-signed-in" contacts list. Both lists are stored on your computer but only one is visible in WLM depending on whether or not you are "signed in".

For the past few days I have been getting emails from various people that have .eml attachments instead of the graphics in the body of the email as has been the case in the past.  On Nov. 18th, I downloaded a large Window's update file from Microsoft that included Windows Live Essentials.   It really is a pain to have to download these files instead of just opening the email and seeing the graphics displayed.  I've gone into my Uninstall or Change Program File and found that Windows Live Essentials 2011 and Windows Live Mesh ActiveX Control for Remote Connections were among the files downloaded on the 18th.  My question is:  Would it be advisable to uninstall Windows Live Email 2011 to stop getting emails with these .eml attachments?  A Bing toolbar was also downloaded at the same time.  Can I uninstall that without causing any problems.  I use Firefox as my browser if that makes a difference.  Thank You,

Answer:Windows Live Email 2011

Some points in your post do not make sense.  How were you doing email before installing Windows Live Essentials?  After installing Windows Live Essentials, did you then start using the mail component of Windows Live Essentials, Windows Live Mail. for email?  If so, why did you switch to it from your previous method of doing email? When you say the Bing toolbar was installed, do you mean a toolbar or do you simply mean that Bing was set as the default search engine?  To change the default search engine, just click on the drop-down arrow next to the Bing icon and select a different default search engine.

My Windows Live mail was working fine until about a month ago. I can still send regular emails, but my group contacts will leave out some of the contacts. I thought maybe it happened when I downloaded a critical update from Windows 7. I have deleted Windows Live Mail and redownloaded it. I have renamed my groups and entered the names in the new group and then deleted the old one. I have some groups as large as 50 and some as small as 6 and it happens in all of them. I can't use system restore because there is not a restore point between the time I got a new router and modem and when I started having problems. I have talked to two techs at AT&T, two from iYogi, 2 friends and no one has been able to help me. I have received no error messages. I am not sending spam. I am a volunteer for a non-profit organization and I have to send messages to them periodically. This is driving me crazy. Can anyone please help. Thanks.

Answer:Problems with sending email to my groups in Windows Live Mail and Windows 7

I also had names dropped when I used groups. The first time I noticed the problem is when I used a goup in the bcc with no other addresses. I received an error saying I must add a name. I started to check the Outbox copy of pending emails and noticed that in some other groups only a few of the names were listed in the To box. I had updated Live a few weeks ago to 2012 Build 16.4.3505.09012 on 2 computers. Both began to have the group problem. I restored one computer and am now running 2011 Build 15.4.3555.0308 and groups work fine. I haven't restored the other computer and was hoping to find a post of a MS fix to the problem. I will probably try to update Live Mail on the 2nd computer if a newer version is available.

We recently changed our mail client from Verio to Liquid Web. After changing the settings in Account Properties, I am able to receive emails, but cannot send emails. From my Windows Live Mail end, it looks like the message was sent just fine, but when
I check the receiving email account, there is no message there.

I had an email account with Telus. Then I created a Windows Live ID using my telus email address. A few years later, I closed my telus account, destroying my address. I signed up for a new Yahoo email account. Now I want to add the new email account and use it as my main address. I already changed my LiveID to the new email address without a problem. When I click 'confirm email address' it says that it will send a confirmation to my OLD email address which does not exist. What can I do to fix this problem?

Answer:Windows Live email confirmation problem

I do know my password, but if I forget it, I want to be able to retrieve it using my Yahoo address.

Dear user,
In a few weeks, we will be making some changes to our email services that might impact your @outlook.com, @hotmail, @live or @msn email account. These changes will prevent your email from being delivered to the Windows Live Mail 2012 application that you use.

In order to continue using Windows Live Mail 2012 to send and receive email for your account, you need to install the latest update published here.

If you use Windows Live Mail 2012 on Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, we recommend that you switch to the built-in Mail app in Windows to stay connected and get the latest feature updates on Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

Windows Live Essentials 2009 and 2011 are not supported any more, and you will need to update to Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10 and use the Mail app, or use www.outlook.com. To learn more about the Mail app, please click here.

We also recommend all Windows Live Mail users on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10 and use the built-in Mail application to stay connected and get the latest feature updates.
We suggest saving this email so you can refer to it later.

Thank you for your understanding and continued use.
Yours sincerely,
The Outlook team

Cannot forward images in Windows Live Mail 2011 email
I have Windows Live Mail 2011. When I receive an email that has images, I cannot forward those images in the email. I receive a popup reading that says, one or more pictures in this message could not be found, etc. If I do forward them, the receiver receives an x in the box where the image is suppose to be located. I want email where I can easily forward a joke or whatever that includes images in with the message without going through a lot of work each time. I have no problem with Vista on my laptop. Is it the email account, or is there an adjustmenet to be made in Windows Live? Thanks.

I have 5 email addresses. I'm running Windows Live, Version 2011. Does anyone know if it's possible to have all my email, from all 5 email addresses, go into my default or a single inbox similar to Outlook Express? I'm finding it a pain to open each inbox to check for messages and sometimes I forget to check one inbox only to find out there is an urgent incoming email from some days ago!

Thanks, John / Airpix

Answer:Combine Inboxes in Windows Live email?

Use Quick Views in the upper left of the window.
Right click on Quick views and select "Select Quick views"
Here you can choose to view all email from all accounts or just unread email from all accounts, etc.

I have had same hotmail address and livemail access on my computer for years. now my access is blocked and my password is denied. Microsoft had me fill out a bunch of info proving I knew what was in my mailbox, and gave me a pin. The site said I would get a temp password in 24 hours (2 days ago) but has only sent an automated response. there is sort of a loop, which claims you can access a forum on your problem, then loops you around to filling out that same form proving you are the owner and claiming you will get a temp password (sent to another email address, which you provide)I would gladly pay to talk to someone who could fix this at Microsoft, but can find no such phone number or way to contact a person. One other note: my emails still arrive to my Blackberry from that hotmail account. Please help: how can I get my email address unblocked? Thanks
