Preferred Solution: Is microSD™ memory card (SD 2.0 compatible) the same as micro SDHC?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Lumia 535: Can I expand using Nokia MU44 Micro SDHC Card 16GB

Answer:Is Nokia MU44 Micro SDHC Card 16GB compatible with Lumia 535?

Yes but be aware that this is only class 4 so some lagging will/can happen.
Furthermore its already an old card which had a 5 years warranty when sold.
But yes if you have it you can use it and judge by yourself if the lagging is acceptable for you.

I want to get an SD memory card for my digital camera

I can get a class 4 Micro SDHC Memory Card for the same price
I've loads of SD adapters lying around so can use the smaller one with my digital camera

Will I have any problems doing this??
i.e. get the smaller memory card and use in my camera with the adapter?
Then I have the freedom of using it with my mobile phone if I every needed to

Is there any effect in the speed - the fact that we're using through an adapter?

Dear All,

A brandnew VERBATIM 8GB Micro SDHC Card is only recognized as 1GB in my T130 / WIN 7 - funny enough: A brandnew SANDISC 8G SDHC Card is recognized as 8GB
Anything I can do here to use the VERBATIM Card ?

Any Feedback is much appreciated

Ciao Gerhard

Answer:Re: 8GB Verbatim Micro SDHC card recognized as 1GB Micro SDHC Card

Where did you buy that 8GB SD Card? Are you sure it's genuine?

If you got it from eBay or similar, it may be a fake SD Card that is physically 1GB but reformatted and re-badged as 8GB.

It says it's for Android devices (but I didn't see that until after I bought it). Will it work with Windows OS?

Answer:Sony make.believe Micro SDHC compatible with Lumia 640?

That's because Sony only makes Android devices, and they are trying to sell their own products. iPhone doesn't use SD.
MicroSDHC is an industry standard, pretty much. If it works in one, it should work in everything that supports microSDHC.

Hello and good afternoon, to u all. I have some queries on behalf of a friend of mine that uses the nokia E63 mobile fone.Firstly he didn't know what kind of memory card the fone accepts, so I checked online and confirmed that it uses the MicroSD memory card. Here:click hereOur main query is that i'm looking to get a unversal card reader for him from ebay that can read not only his Micro SD memory card, but ALSO other cards.....but we have no idea, if we'll still need to get an adaptor to insert the memory card into....or whether the card can just be inserted straight into the card reader....Here is 1 on ebay:click hereSo for example will this one work with a micro sd card and if we still have to get the adaptor for it, or can it be inserted straight into the card reader pls????Many thanks

Answer:Nokia E63 and Micro SDHC card reader

Copied this from the specs Slot 2 - Trans Flash and Micro SDLooks like it will accept Micro SD but adapters cost practically nothing, in fact you should get one free when you buy a Micro SD card.

I purchased a 32 GB micro card on eBay a few months ago and come to find out, it was a fake. So,  I bought another one and filled it up to about 29GB and it worked fine for a few days then it just stopped working and now the phone I had it in won't recognize it's in there nor will my laptop. The difference being that at least my computer sees that something is there but won't read it i.e. it says drive h: in computer when I put it in but says insert drive when I try to access it. Also, it starts to get extremely hot after a few seconds to a minute. My husband has one as well from the same company, the same brand and has 30GB of stuff on his and hasn't had a problem yet (this has been at least three months ago now). Before anyone says it; yes it is 32GB, I tested it before I put it in my phone (thus the fact that I had 29GB of stuff on it before it went screwy), yes it is in the slot properly or else it wouldn't even say H: drive at all and no, my card reader isn't bad and yes it is compatible with my computer and the card as it is what I used to put the stuff on it originally and it still works fine with my husbands 32GB card and all of my other cards. My computer works fine with his card and it worked fine with mine before it went bad. Now, all of that being said; is there anything that can be done or will I have to just buy a new one?

Answer:Phone nor computer will recognize my micro sdhc card

Buy a new one. Price is now around $65 from on line vendors.Pardon me, but why do people put 32GB memory into a phone? That is  enough space to store all the phone numbers in the USA!A few years ago, nothing had 32 GB of anything. Let alone a phone! Am I missing something

Answer:What kind of SD card controller is in a Lenovo IdeaPad 120S-11AIP? SDHC or SDXC compatible?

Hi ITWorxLA,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
As per system overview :
IO port: Memory card slot (SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC)
Platform specification:
One microSD Card slot, supports up to 2TB
Usually there would be stickers on the box or laptop to indicate the format it also supports.
You can try to find/borrow  a spare 32GB SDXC to test first before purchase.
Hope this helps answer your query.

Hi i was thinking of purchasing a MP3 player from <>

it says the expansion slot is for micro sd, but i was wondering if it would recognize a micro sdhc, because the biggest micro sd i can find is 2gb and i want at least a 4gb, which would mean i would have to use a micro sdhc.

Please post back if you have any suggestions or know if a micro sdhc would work in a micro sd slot

Answer:micro sdhc compatiblity with micro sd mp3 player

SDHC, SDHC and miniSDHC will not work in their "regular" counterparts. Whether the slot is only an SD, rather than just not being marketed as HC capable, ask the manufacturer.

Hi there,

We've just returned from a month long holiday in Europe where we filled a brand new 8GB SDHC San Disk memory card with photos, and half filled the 4GB SDHC Lexar memory card that came with the camera.

When we plugged the Fuji Finepix camera into our iMac it read and imported all the photos off the (half full) 4GB card no problem, but when we removed that one and put the (full) 8GB back into the camera to import photos it says 'card not initialised' and won't read it.

When we unplug the USB cable and just turn the camera on it tells us 'memory card is full', but when we try to view the images it says 'no images'!!!!

We bought a card reader and tried that with both cards but once again it works fine with the 4GB but nothing happens at all with the 8GB!

There are definitely images on the card because when we insert it into the card reader on our Canon printer we can view them on the small LCD screen but cannot move them, only print directly and there's something like 1600 photos on that card so it's not an option!!

Were we supposed to initialise the card before we used it? It was bought brand new and this holiday was the first time we have used it. The camera doesn't seem to have that option, I have already gone through the menu.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer me on this as I am anxious to see these photos!!!!

Answer:Problems reading SDHC 8GB memory card

Welcome the the forum, there are two possible problems, one with the software your using to get the picture and one with the memory card itself, since the memory card is being recognised its highly unlikely to be broken so this leaves the software your using to get the pictures and since I've never owned a mac I can't help.

If you were in a windows environment or have access to a PC I would say connect the card to a card reader in a laptop or install the camera reading software into a PC and try that and depending on the version of windows try to explore to the files in windows explorer right click get pictures.

If you only have a Mac I would suggest the mac forum or look for updates for bug fixes on the camera manufacturers website.

EDIT with memory card connected to the printer and the printer connected to a PC you can navigate to the pictures, again this depends on your printer model and windows version.

I'm currently traveling abroad, meaning I take a lot of pictures. In order to send some of these home, I have at several times connected my camera to computers on internet cafes WITHOUT locking the SDHC memory card so it can only be read from (this function I have learnt after this ordeal started).

Last week I noticed my camera wouldn't read the card. It said "Can't create folder". I connected it to a internet cafe PC and folder names were messed up, but some pictures could be retrieved with Recuva (photo recovery software), so I saved them to 2 different USB flash drives (most pics looked ok, only a few were irreparably damaged). I figured something was fishy when folder names changed on one of the USB sticks. Scans with SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes revealed Ramnit infection. :cry

IE my own PC is not infected, but I have questions on how to tackle this problem when I come home:

1. Is there any way to safely extract pictures and videos and then format the memory sticks?
2. Is it safe to access the memory card and the USBs in Linux?
3. Will a low-level format get rid of Ramnit for sure?

Any suggestions and ideas are welcome.

Thank you for your time.

Answer:Ramnit on 1 SDHC memory card and 2 USB flash drives

Welcome to Major Geeks!

Ramnit is quite dangerous and not always detectable in every file that could be carrying the infection. It most frequently spreads into any .exe and .html files on every disk drive ( including removeable drives ) in a PC.

The best you could do would be to scan all drives using your antivirus scanner and also another online scan like ESET ( see:
Using ESET's Online Scanner) to see if anything is found. If so delete them.

Only save your pictures! DO NOT save any EXE, HTML, DLL, or MSI ( installer programs ). If is okay to save them to your flash drive, but make sure the flash drive has no EXE, HTML, DLL, or MSI file types on it before plugging it in.

Yes a low-level format will get rid of Ramnit, but you copy back on just one infected file and use it, you could respread the infection all over again.

Hi, my father deleted 80+ pictures from our digital camera about 6 hours ago. I've since been trying to recover the pictures with all sorts of software but to no avail. I suspect it's because he took a couple of pictures after he deleted the pictures and they've since been overwritten. However, I have not given up the little hope I still have in recovering the photos so guys, please help me!!

The only thing some programs have been able to recover for me is a .tmp file called emdC3BC.tmp. I looked that up but nadah too. But one of the programs let me take a look at that file and it was made up of a lot of 0s. Does this mean there is NO WAY at all I can recover the pictures? These pictures are especially significant and I would really like to get them back. Any help guys? Please?

BTW, I'm trying to ask whether I can recover at least 50% of the pictures since my dad didn't take another 60 pictures to 'cover' the 60 old ones, if you get what I mean.

EDIT: After playing around with the camera, I suspect my dad formatted the card using the camera. Is it still possible to get the photos back?

I got an 8gb micro sdHC card filled up using the adapter, with music, which plays fine.

Before I received this cheap us>microSD adapter I asked the seller if it read HC cards. They said no. It's just a cheap chinese adapter on ebay so there isn't much info on it at all. It's write up didn't say anything about HC capabilities.

Like I mentioned, I was able to use it to load up an 8gb sdHC card.

Does this mean that it will probably also work with a 32gb sdHC card? Is there a size limit that the 8gb card didn't exceed?

If yes, I'd like to buy more now because I don't think these will hold up to much use.

Answer:Can My Usb>microsd Adapter Read Sdhc If It Fills An 8gb Sdhc Card? Seller Says It Won't.

I found the same item elsewhere on ebay which mentions that it recognizes up to 32gb, which is what I needed.

So....I suppose there are quite a few adapters out there labelled only SD but will in fact read up to at least 32 SDHC cards.

I think going over 32gb cards might require additional capabilities.

Question: Micro SDHC????

I just bought a 4GB Micro SDHC card that I wanted to use for storage. I plugged it in to the SD adapter and put the sucker into my SD memory card reader in my pc. Problem is that nothing happened. With normal SD cards I get the device read in and I can use it for storage.

I believe my pc is not SDHC compatible. Is there some peripheral that I can use to bridge the gap?? A cheap adapter to make it compatible???

Posting links or product names is a huge help, I cant seem to find any and am not sure if this technology even exists.

Answer:Micro SDHC????

What OS are you running?
Does it show up in My Computer? If not try this, the card may not be formatted: Start > Right click on My COmputer > Click 'Manage' > Click 'Disk Management' on the left side. See if there are any unformatted/unpartitioned devices/disks that match the capacity of your 4GB SD card.

Hi all
given the fact that some micro SDHC cards are already 32 GB capacity and it won't be too long before 64 and even 128GB one's are available -- is SSD technology --although still in its infancy already on its way out.

Seems to me that if Micro SDHC cards can reach this sort of capacity (64 / 128 GB) capacity and the electronics is fast enough --these cards will last infinitely longer than an SSD drive and won't have any of the attendant properties of these drives either.

(Having just spent nearly 400 USD on a 256 GB SSD I could have been jumping the gun).

While USB2 or even USB3 is still comparatively slow there is no reason why a micro SDHC card with the proper interface should not be faster than an SSD on an enhanced IDE / SATA bus.

Answer:SSD or Micro sdHC cards ??

It isn't just the memory capacity that matters. You are forgetting one very key part of an SSD....the controller. A flash memory card still needs to run over some type of connection that's inherently slower, even if it was an eSATA card-reader, or something of the sort. An SSD uses a built-in controller (Sandforce, ie) to provide direct access (and maintenance functions) between the SATA interface and the memory.

Question: Micro SDHC Classes

Does anyone know the class numbers? What's the difference between 2, 4, 6, and 10? I am looking at getting an 8GB, or possibly 16GB for my Transformer. I currently have a 4GB Class 4 in there and seems to be working fine. I had a 8GB Class 4, but I think it is bad, because it wouldn't detect it 100% of the time.

I would probably get it from Newegg or SuperMediaStore.

Answer:Micro SDHC Classes

Class numbers represent the transfer speed, the higher the class the faster the speed.

Question: x120e Micro SDHC

I have a x120e laptop and was curious if it is able to read micro SDHC cards. Thanks

Answer:x120e Micro SDHC

I have a micro sdhc, and with an SD adapter (or USB adapter) it works without problems on an x120e. By the way, I'm asking for some help from users of x120e. Can you help me please? Can you kindly try this: Turn off the laptop, (not sleep mode, just turn off the laptop) and in a quiet environment, put the ear on the back of the computer. Do you hear any noise, a kind of faint buzzing coming from the board? Try this with the battery or AC plugged in. I will be very grateful if you give any feedback with this. abvasili

hi i recently ordered an unlocked htc shadow from newegg ( it has a micro sd card slot in it, and i was hoping to use the phone as my mp3 player as well. So i was looking around for micro sd cards to see what i could find. Well my first problem was that normal micro sd cards only go up to 2GB. So i looked at micro sdhc (hc stands for high capacity) and i found up to 16GB. Also when i was looking at the phone specs for the htc shadow i one site said it only supported up to 4GB micro sd cards. Frankly i think thats ridiculous and the source is probably not reliable.

So what im really wondering is can i use a micro SDHC in my phone and do you think it will be able to read more than 4GB. Sorry for the long post i just want to be thorough. Anyways your answers will be much appreciated, thanks so much

Answer:Micro sdhc in htc shadow

As you noted, there is a difference between SD and SDHC; the HC stands for High Capacity. If the device (the card reader) doesn't support SDHC, it won't work. It likely won't even see an SDHC card.
So an SDHC card won't work in that device.

Some older SD readers may not work with some SD cards over 1 GiB in size as well.

SD is for cards up to 4 GiB
SDHC is for 4 GiB - 32 GiB.
SDXC is for 32 GiB - 2 TiB

I have amicro sd memory card which has been working fine in my new phone, yyesterday i removed it to put into my old phone and it will not show up as a meory card. I have inserted the car5d into a SD card so that i can connect it to my pc using a card reader, and it is not recognised as card being in the drive. I have many old memories of my daughter for the past two years and i think i have lost all data on this card, please please please could anyone help me try and rescue any data if possible??

Answer:HELP with micro sd memory card

The microSD card happens to be 4 GB or more in capacity? Your old phone and your computer's memory card reader just happen to only support the old regular SD cards, not 4+GB SDHC cards. Get a new card reader if you want to retvieve the data. Go to newegg, read reviews, and.. Err. Just forget it, I remember there being a good reader with reviews saying it supported HC and it was cheap, wait a sec...

I have a motley crew of oddball SD's and Micros, some high capacity some not. so far I have not seen one that would just flat fail in system chores, but I am wondering: what brand/part, or what Spec do you experts look for in such items?? I'm sure some are faster than others, and perhaps some more durable for lots of wipes/rewrites, storage of boot records, etc? I need to get a couple of higher capacity ones and wanted some advice before ordering.

Answer:Best SDHC or Micro for System use: Boot, tools, installs?

My answer is probably not quite what you are looking for, but I mostly just look at brand and price. I usually buy a SanDisk card because I'm familiar with the brand name and their usually a little cheaper than camparable Kingston cards. I've also only ever had one stop working in 6 years of buying them. Basically, if I haven't heard of the brand I stay away from it. since you asked about speed, below is a link to a wikipedia page that discribes the how the different speeds are catagorized for SD cards.

Hi, I've been making audio recordings of my piano playing for an audition, and I used a ZOOM Q2HD (with a Micro SD memory card) to record myself playing. However, the laptop was not able to detect the memory card. It said "There's nothing to import. We couldn't find anything to import from that device. Make sure that it's unlocked, then try again." The zoom recorder was unlocked and turned on, so I don't get why it couldn't detect anything... And I know that it's the memory card that's not working, and the Zoom recorder is working fine, because I tried another memory card with the same Zoom recorder and my laptop was able to detect everything. Any suggestions?

I have a Nokia N95 and unfortunately files I had on my memory card vanished over night however they were still using up memory on the card.

I used software called "CardRecovery" which managed to find all of the files I needed so I proceeded to save the files which included jpeg's and also video files.

However when I opened up the jpeg's they are alot smaller compared to the other images I have taken with my Nokia and the video files dont seem to open up either.

I compared the recovered images to images I have taken in the past and here is the difference.

Normal Photos using N95 ------------------- Recovered photos using N95
WIDTH : 2592 pixels ------------------------ WIDTH : 170 pixels
HEIGHT : 1944 pixels ----------------------- HEIGHT : 128 pixels
VERTICAL RESOLUTION : 300dpi -------- VERTICAL RES. : 96dpi

anyone know how to sort this as I'm desperate to get the images and video files back to the way they once were as they were from a recent holiday.

Hi, I am having issues with my micro SD card vanishing.  Purchased end of May and spend so many hours trying everything thinking it was me. I have never had any issues with my SD cards in either HTC one phone or a Acer aspire one, which I broke its screen in May reason for the purchase. My acer I pimped it with 250gb SSD and 2 GB and had no real issues, had enough space for most of my 36GB music and had a external USB HD for films and more music.  Now I am getting so fustrated trying to play a few albums form SD. Its gone from grove player, windows media player and file explorer. If I take the SD card out the unit plays the unmount sound, so its there but windows simply looses it. Pop it back in and windows chirps up and all is good for a unpredictable amount of time. Its like if I play music and surf, it gets confused and simply drop... Read more

Hello @jaz4uk, Welcome back to the HP Support Forums! I see that you are still having trouble with the Micro SD card vanishing.  It seems like you went through many troubleshooting steps already.  The only solution I can think for you to try at this point, is to restore the BIOS to its default settings.  You can use the following document to do so: HP Notebook PCs - Restoring the BIOS If that does not work, and the notebook will not work as you like, then you may consider returning it to the place of purchase.  I hope this helps. Please let me know if this information helps you resolve the issue by marking this post as "Accept as Solution", this will help others easily find the information they may be looking for.  Also, clicking the Thumbs up below is a great way to say thanks! Have a great day!

Hi all,

I have an Equium A210 that i have recently bought. I had taken what i thought was the correct card from my digital camera and placed it into the card reader slot in the front of the laptop. The card is too small for the slot and has now become lodged beyond my reach inside my laptop. Any ideas on how i can safely remove this from my laptop without having to pay expensive repair costs.

Can i just open up the laptop and remove it myself or is the memory card reader a moulded unit that i can't access.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Many thanks,

Answer:Equium A210-171: How to remove safely not compatible memory card

First of all I really don?t understand people who insert any NOT compatible cards into the slot and don?t check the slot properties.
You can damage the slot using a not compatible card!

Why didn?t you check the user manual which is always preinstalled on your notebook?
There are all details about the compatible cards.

However, I really don?t know if you will be able to remove the inserted card but maybe you could use tiny pair of tweezers?

Note; don't open the notebook. This would cancel the warranty. The best solution is to ask the notebook technician for the help...

good luck

@YoannFromParis, Hello and thanks for posting on the HP support forums.  When dealing with the issues from doing an update to Windows 10 there are a few things that may work to fix the issue. First thing to try is running the Windows Update Troubleshooter. The next step is to run the HP BIOS recovery to reload the BIOS to see if it will sync up with the operating system. HP Notebook PCs - Restoring the BIOS And if this fails to fix the problem, if you did the update to Windows 10 you can do the stand alone installation to see if it fixes any conflict. Download Windows 10 The other option is to roll back to the previous operating system until new updates get released by Microsoft and then uploaded on the HP support page for your notebook. Please let me know how things go.  Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

I plugged in my SD/SDHC Card device into my computer, multiple times to no avail. It's possible that my computer didn't detect it. How can I fix this?

Answer:Help with SD/SDHC card

Hi Angelique1472, and welcome to TSG.

I can't tell from your subject line and post if you are having a problem with plugging an SD/SDHC card into a reader on the computer or if your are having a problem with attaching an SD/SDHC reader to the computer.

In the first case, if you are using an SDHC card and an older computer, the reader may not be compatible with SDHC cards and may only support SD cards below a certain capacity.

In the second case, the reader may not be detected until there is a memory card plugged into it. If it is an older reader, it may not be compatible with SDHC cards. The reader may also require drivers be installed on the computer in order to function.

In any case, please give us the details of all the hardware involved and the version of the operating system running on your computer.

Question: SDHC Card

I have a Sony VGC RB62G computer with Win XP SP3. It will not recognize a 4GB SDHC card. Where can I find the drivers for the SDHC card?

Answer:SDHC Card

Hello and Welcome -A quick line or 2 on SD and SDHC complianceIf your computer's internal card reader works with 2GB (or lower) SD cards but fails to read a 4GB (or higher) SDHC card, then the computer's internal reader is not SDHC compliant. This same logic also applies to digital cameras, if the digital camera reads 2GB (or lower) SD cards but fails to read a 4GB (or higher) SDHC card, then the digital camera is not SDHC compliant.SD and SDHC specificationsThe initial SD card specification defined the interface for cards only up to 2GB capacity. The subsequent SDHC specification was developed to provide increased capacity of 4GB ? 32GB cards. Computers and other products purchased before 2008 may not be SDHC compatible. Computers and other products purchased before 2007 are not SDHC compatible.Verifying the card reader slotIf the card reader slot on your computer does not have the SDHC logo, it is most likely not SDHC compatible and will only read cards up to 2GB capacity.Other options you can use to read files on your SDHC cardIf your computer's card reader is not SDHC compatible, you have 3 options available:1. You can connect your camera (or other device) that works with SDHC to your computer using a USB cable that came with the camera. You should be able to transfer files to the computer this way.2. You can contact your computer manufacturer to see if they have a free firmware update for your model that will make it SDHC compatible3. You can buy inexpensive ... Read more

So I've used a few years ago Trend Micro and i was planning to try it and maybe buy a license, as it's one of my favorite AV. But I've seen on the Trend Micro forums that some users are complaining about some BSOD (see here and here) issues with the Creators Update. A hotfix seems to be available tough.

In their forums, the moderators say Trend Micro is not yet fully compatible with CU. But when i contacted them, they said it is and this problem can be solved with the hotfix.

So if some of you guys are using Trend Micro Antivirus / Internet Security / Maximum Security 11 with the Creators Update, how is going so far ? Any bugs or crash ?

Thanks a lot

We just bought an 8GB SDHC Transcend micro SD card from amazon. I did not realize there were probs. I put it directly into my tower in the card slot and nothing pops up. If I put my regular old 2GB micro SD in the slot, it immediately pops up, but not the SDHC card. Is there a fix for this? Something I can download to make it recognized or did I waste my money and get a piece of junk? Please help. This was actually my son's money; he wanted this, and I did not realize there was an issue with these until I googled the prob and had tons of people's complaints pop up.

Answer:SDHC card not recognized

Your flash reader is not SDHC compliant. Many SDHC cards come packaged with a small USB adapter. The SDHC card is (likely) not junk.

I am looking for something that would allow me to take my SDHC card and transfer my pictures to my portable hard drive without the use of my laptop/computer. I'm not sure that there is such a device that would be capable, but I've been looking at Wireless Portable Streaming Devices but am unsure if its capable. Thank you for your time!

Answer:SDHC Card to Portable HD

What connectors does the portable hard drive have on it?
(brand and model would allow us to see the exact external drive you have)

You might want to consider buying a portable hd with card reader in it.

Question: SDHC Card Test

Is there software that can tell me the performance parameters of an SD card?
I have purchased a Transend 32GB Class 10 card and it takes longer (about 4x) to write from my Canon camera than a 32GB no-name Chinese on.
So I am curious to know it's actual specifications.

Cheers - Trevor

There's only one program I know of and it's attached in ZIP format. Make sure to read the "Read Me". I'd be leary of the "no-name" Chinese one. It could be one of those "doctored" cards that are made to seem like their capacities are much more than their actual capacities.

Hi, currently i'm very outdated since all I own is an Olympus SD card with 128mb memory which i've been using in my Fuji digital camera that i bought long ago.

At this time, the card has become pretty full, so decided to buy one with more memory.

But all I see now in stores are SDHC memory cards which look somewhat different than the SD card i've been used to.

The guy at the Walmart tech dept. couldn't say for sure if their SDHC cards would fit my digital camera, because my camera & SD card were at my house, and he didn't want to guarantee a fit, sight unseen.

Can someone please advise which current ones would be as compatible for my camera as the above linked one?
