I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Links to websites, either from emails or from shortcuts pinned to my PC desktop's task-bar have suddenly been directed to Google Chromes search page. There are four icons pinned to the task-bar that work;Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Google Earth and Windows Live Mail all of the rest, such as Facebook, Ancerstry.com YouTube and others now default to the Google Chrome search page.

I have run numerous anti-virus scans all of which have not picked up anything sinister.

The OS is Windows 7 Home Premium. I am not a IT tecky but should be able to follow straight forward instruction, if anyone has any ideas on this problem.

If you like, you could use step 4 in the tutorial below to set the browser you want to be the default for all its supported file type associations that should sort this for you.

I sent an email to a company using their email form on their site. Is there a way I can retrieve what I wrote in the email to have for my records?

Answer:Retrieving email sent using websites email form.

Hi LIKENIT, welcome to 7F!

Not that I am aware of. The best you can hope for is when the company replies they use your original query quoted in their reply.

If that doesn't happen the only other way would be to ask if they can send it back to you, but some companies do an instant delete after they reply, it helps to keep the clutter manageable.

Hi there

Just wondering if there are any experts out there on this.

I have a 'contact us' form on one of my webistes - http://stayhome-mum.com/contactus.html

I had someone send me a message using this form, but they used a fake email when they filled it out.

This message I believe is from someone that is very close to crossing the line for stalking, but because they sent it through this form I cannot say for sure that it was them that sent it.

The message was very threatening - both in threatening to ruin my business as well as threatening bodily harm.

So I am trying to see if there is any way of being able to trace who sent the message through this form.

Is there anyone that has any knowledge on this that could help me with this please.

Thanks
Shezz

Answer:Can you trace who used a php form on a website?

I personally know of 2 ways to trace it , one i'm positive will work of the second not as much

2. a hacker

Hi All,I have a website form that has been created with Dreamweaver which includes a number of compulsory fields. These have all been validated and includes one which requires a number to be entered. With the exception of the number field all fields work OK and the form can be submitted successfully to an e-mail address. The problem I have is that the number field, which is set to a maximum of 4 digits, allows text to be entered as well as numbers. I can't find a way to prevent this. Can anyone help?CheersKenHow

I need a contact form on my website, that will send to my email address what the visitor enter in the form fields. The problem is that I can't run any php scripts.. is there a way to use some html form?

Answer:Help with contact form for my website

After searches, I found a site that offers remotely hosted contact forms, EmailMe Form™ - HTML Forms, a simple way to receive email from your website . Basically, I paste the html code in my website, and it calls the php script on their server who sends the email.

I am trying to put a simple order form on my website. I have the table with item name, price, quantity field set up in Excel but I am having problems making it functional in Frontpage. I can save the Excel file as an HTML but people who don't have Excel can only view and not interact with the table. The only other way it seems is to manually put each line into the form (but there are a lot of items). Is there a way to use Access and then couple it with Frontpage?
Thanks for any help.

Hi and welcome to the forum...

Why not just use a simple HTML form ?
YOu already know that using Excel not everybody is going to be able to use your form. And as for the Access bit. I would say no. You can download many simple HTML forms from the net which are customisable..

I have some webspace with a hosting company for one site built using frontpage and using a form to send results back to my email with results of customers orders, this works fine. I wanted another site to make paypal payment pages for a flash site I have so again I bought a domain name and used the add on domain feature at my web hosting company, I designed a front index page and individual payment pages that are going to be linked to my flash site. Right now for the problem for some reason when I tried to test it and filled out the order form and click submit it flashes on a username and password box up. I don't know why this is, has completly baffled me and my hosting company. Anyone have any ideas why this would happen, the form on my other site as I say done the exact same way works ok. Phil

Answer:Problem with Frontpage form on my new website

is it the standard Windows server challenge - the type you see when you want to logon to a network? You'll need to explain your system in more detail. As I understand it you have a site that's entirely Flash, and you want to send customer's payments from it to your PayPal account, is that right? For some reason you've bought a special domain name and set up yet another site to do this - why have you done that?It sounds to me as if the form is submitting itself to a different server directory - one on which you don't have write permissions, so the server is issuing what we used to call an NT challenge, the type you get when you logon to a network workgroup.Perhaps if you could give me a step-by-step explanation I'll be able to sort this out for you.

Well, not if the message doesn't allow html or bbcode. I'm guessing from the screenshot that the box only allows text. The best you can do is ascii art (assuming it aligns properly) or text smilies.

Answer:Form on website displaying comments in html

Greetings, BexBomb.

Sounds like you've got something missing, most likely a bracket. Look for code similar to this:

<form>yada yada</form

Notice the missing > after the second "form".

If you can't find the culprit, post the address and I'll take a look at it, or you can validate the page at w3.org which should show any HTML mistakes on the page.

Hey guys - got an issue I'm totally stumped with:

I have a customer I support on Office 365 and have done for the last 6-8 months. Their website is less than spectacular but does include a booking form for enquires (car rental company)

I have no control over the website but am talking to the guy who has access to the site and domain panel for the company.

From my understanding, when a customer fills in the form and clicks submit, the web server hosting the site and form sends out a confirmation email to the customer and to the [email protected] email address for the company - for this to work the domain has to allow both the website and the office 365 email address to send emails - to allow this to work, this needs an TXT/SPF record allowing both servers to send email using the @companyname.co.uk domain (please correct me if this is wrong!)

We had the same issue a few months ago, in the end we created an SPF/TXT record that combined the webserver and the 365 exchange server, it took a few hours to finalize but it did seem to resolve the issue.

For some reason in the last few days, the form has stopped working again, the customer doesn't receive a confirmation email, nor does the [email protected] address - the only thing I can thing of is that the domain is not allowing the webserver to send email or something to that nature.

I have submitted test bookings which have gone nowhere and had no response to any address, however if I just send emails to the [email pro... Read more

I have the master list in Excel which is a good 1000 sites with their codes. Is there any software that will look at the text then search a list and plug in the number or is that only possible with some kind of cgi or sql thing.

MAPI problems, sending web forms
If I fill in a form on a website, and press submit it just opens a blank email page outlook express rather than sends the information |I have already filled in. Help. Apparently it is something to do with MAPI but I have dfone a MAPI fix but no difference.

Answer:I can't submit a form on a website, it brings up a blank outlook express page

That is a problem withe the FORM on that webpage, not with your browser.
Click on View/Page Source and find <form and then type=submit.
Somewhere between those items is where it goes wrong for them.

If those people can't get it right, it is either a spoof, phishing for creditcard details, or a webdesigner that's not competent.

Not sure about it being virus related, but some spammer probably just forged the header information to make it look like it was sent by you. May be a way to get past some people's spam filters if they have them set to never treat messages from themselves as spam.

Question: Email Form

I own a sign making business and I would like to be able to send the sign I have created to a customer for approval. So what I would like to do is send the sign and in the email there would be a couple of check boxes that they could pick from either accepting of refusing my design. Is this possible to have some kind of an active email where a customer can just check a box and reply.

Answer:Email Form

I don't have much experience with your particular question, but perhaps I can help in some way.

The way I would do this is to create a web page on your hard drive that displayed the picture(s) that you want assessed by your customer. You can then have check boxes for various questions you want answered. Finally, there would be a "Submit" button and a "Reset" button. Submit would automatically email you the answers in the check boxes.

Here is an example:

Question: PHP Form to Email

I'm making a form, but it's not a normal contact form - it's a feedback form for critting stories. There are four normal type questions, ie name, email, story title and date, and there are 13 writing specific questions. The HTML side of the form is fine. I've done that. But, the php side of it is driving me nuts because I don't know what I'm doing.

I'm trying to set them up as two separate files ie feedback.html and process.php.

I've tried going through tutorials, but they don't give enough information where necessary and too much information where it's not necessary. I can get a simple form with name, address and comments to work, but as soon as I add more fields the whole thing caves in on me.

I want a form with these fields to be emailed to me:

name
email
title
date
(from here it's the actual feedback so can the two sections be separated in some way?)
hook
protagonist
antagonist
technique
language
dialogue
setting
conflict
mechanics
other
suggestions

I want them all, except suggestions, to be required fields. I have "thank you" and "error" pages set up too, but can't get them to work either.

This is one of three forms I'm trying to create (the questions in the second part varies for each form). If someone who knows php can start me off and tell me where I have to add the other fields in order to make it all work, I'd be so grateful.

Can anyone help me?

The HTML form will be stored locally on the individual sites so if another file can be added to automatically fill it in that would be ok.thanks for the help

hi can anyone please tell me how to (if it's possible)insert, inbed, place or what ever a document (word) into an email.I'm trying to creat an email in ms outlook that incorporates a booking form (created in xp word),that i can send to people who in turn can fill in the required data and reply/forward the email back to me, so i can then print off the form for my records.I've tried pasting the form text into an email but it looses the original page format and spreads it right across the page, which looks cr*p. i initially tried sending word doc as an attachment to the email but when i get the email back all their added info is missing. i've tried telling people to save attachment to their pc, fill it in and send back to me on another email (which works) but some can't understand and manage this, so i'm trying to make the email simpler with no attachment. thanks

Answer:Help on inserting form into an email

I'm not sure that this will help, but I have just copied a Table from Excel in to the body of a new OE6 e mail message, and found that I could still write in the cells contained within! I then sent me a copy of that e mail to see if when "Forwarded" I could write in to the cells. The answer was yes!TonyV

I have a Gift Aid Declaration form in PDF format. I want to put it on a website and ask users to fill in their details then click on a 'submit' button and the completed form will then be emailed to our Gift Aid administrator.

Can anyone recommend any free software (windows) that will allow me to set this up?

I say free because this is a one-off job and the charity cannot afford the money for something that will only be used once.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi, im developing a site for a school and want to have a email form on the contact school page. How can i create this in dreamweaver, i have created the form using the form buttons but want to know how to tell dreamweaver to taje the information from these text boxes?I have seperate text boxes where people will enter there name, own email address, question/comment and also radio buttons whether they want us to get back in touch with them.Is there a way that I can get the information from these boxes into 1 email that will be sent to the school email address? Thanks for any helpPaul

Answer:email form in dreamweaver

Typically you will use either a Perl/CGI script, a PHP script or an ASP script. What happens is you tell the form to use the form handler when the submit button is clicked. The form handler then processes the information the site visitor typed into the form fields and turns them into the body of an email, which is then sent to your email address. Before we get into this in a big way, I have to point out that if your have FrontPage available to you and if the web server you upload to support FrontPage Server Extensions you could generate your contact form in seconds.FrontPage has its own form handler built in as a server behaviour (extension) and all you do is tell it where to send the form results (email, database etc) and fill in the blanks. Publish the form from FrontPage and that's it.Assuming you don't have FrontPage, you will need to configure a form to email handler manually.PHP solutions:Jack's Script click hereMatt's FormMail click hereCGI/Perl solutions: Matt's FormMail click hereMatt's Script Archive click hereGeneral form handlers in any language can be found at the excellent Hotscripts.com site click hereJust click on the language you want to use and run a search for form handler.A lot depends on where the site will be hosted and what the web host offers in supported features. Some hosts will allow you to run your own CGI scripts while others will not. Likewise, some accounts support PHP while other support ASP and still others support neither. You need to do a little... Hi,I have recently designed a website for my new business. I have included a booking form which can be found here click hereI used Dreamweaver CS4 to create the site and 123-reg.co.uk is my web hostAs it?s my first attempt at making a website I realise I may have constructed the site incorrectly. Please (for now) do not give me advice on how to make the site faster/tidier. All I wish to know is how to get the Booking Form working so that it sends information from the form to my email address.Currently, on clicking the ?Submit? button the browser opens the customers email programme but I really require for the information to sent automatically back to my email address and then have the browser re-direct to click hereI have looked around a few forums and it seems I may need a PHP script but have no idea how to do this. Can anybody please explain what I must do? I would prefer not to have to spend any money if possible!ThanksPaul.Ps. I also require the form to prevent the customer to ?Submit? unless ?Is Vehicle roadworthy with full M.O.T.:? is set to ?Yes? and the ?I agree with the Terms and Conditions? box is checked... but this is not as desperate.

However, if you want to give your own a try then have a look here click here . I have used the formmail from Matts script as metioned in the text and that does exactly what you want but this is a version of that with a tutorial to get you started.

Who is your web host, what level of hosting account do you have with them and do they allow you to run your own CGI or PHP scripts ?Perhaps they offer you their own CGI mailer, since most web hosts seem to these days.Have you looked at the NetObjects services you get for free as a registered user ?They offer page hit counters, form to email, online polls and so on for certain versions of NOF.If you are really struggling email me.Setting up the FormMail script seems far harder to most people than it actually is. I think many people stare a large block of Perl code in the face and come to the rapid conclusion that they can't do it. It's a shame reaaly, because in most cases, all you need to do is change three or four lines of the script with your own and your hosts details and add the relevant hidden form fields onto your web form and that's it.There's a rough guide to using the FormMail script with NetObjects click hereTIf you are totally bogged down I'll walk you through it.

Is there a secure method for submitting a web form by email? My web editor is Dreamweaver which has a standard form creation tool and I'm fairly familiar with the 'mailto:' command that you would put in the 'form action box', but this I know is not secure.
I've thought of having users submit the form online instead, but I don't have processing-script knowledge (CGI/PHP, etc), and I don't want to get involved with MySQL databases.
It would be a lot easier if I could simply have visitors send required attachments, info, to an email address, but again, I know this is usually not secure.

I could use a little assistance if someone knows how to do this. What I want
to do is have a form email that is sent to customers. These are done in
response to customer service inquiries and each has a seperate entity name
and a corresponding entity id #. I have the information for the entity name
and id# in an excell spread sheet and since it is over 2000, I want to be
able to have an autocomplete field in the form email that pulls the entity
name and corresponding id#. So in theory I would be able to type the first
few letters of the entity id and it would pull that information into the
email. I also want to have a field so that it automatically enters todays
current day and another date field that calculates the current day plus 14
days (essentially inputs a date 2 weeks later). I was able to have these
fields within the excell spreadsheet but I am unsure of how to pull it into
the email template. I followed the instructions on the email template and
was editting it in microsoft word and tried mail merge but it did not
transfer over those merge fields when I copied it over as an outlook
template. I am using Microsoft outlook version 2003/professional. I was
hoping that there is a guru out there that could help me figure this out.
Thanks in advance.

My problem is if I send them the form, I would like a simple way for them to fill it out and email it back to me for viewing.
Our group has various levels of computer skills. Does anyone have a simple solution.
1. I have tried to send it directly from Acrobat Reader, but it takes many steps to send it. Some group members have scanners, some don't.
2. I have tried to attach it to an email, but it, again, takes a lot of steps. This group is primarily seniors and we know what that means.

Running Access 2000 under W98SE.

Table with contact info for suppliers, and a form which displays that info, one record at a time. One of the fields is for email address. On the form, would like to be able to click on either the email address itself (text box) or on a button next to it and have my email client open with a new mail addressed to the supplier.

Can set the control up as a hyperlink with a *mailto:* address, so client opens - just not sure what expression to enter to get it to pick up the address from the curent record.

Any suggestions? -- TIA

does anyone know an application/program that would do this:1. Design a form that could be used on a web page (in HTML) where users could input data.2. There needs to be a "send" button on the form and when the user presses this, it extracts various pieces of the data and sends it to me as an email.I have had a qucik look around and can find something that will "design" the form (MS Front Page), but get lost with the "extraction and emailing" bit. I suspect that this may be because the web server that I use does not support the appropriate extensions - but not sure on this.

Answer:Typing on a form in email

Typing does replace the underscore! The way I do it is to leave one underscore at the beginning of the reply, type my reply, and probably have one or more underscores left at the end. What you don't want to do is PUSH the underscore. This is a common problem.

If the form were in HTML, you could probably *select* underscore for your reply and make it work!

As far as I know, you can't just *fill in the blanks* in e-mail.

Good morning,
I've been doing some research and can't seem to find an answer. I want to create an email template/form in Outlook 2003 but I want to have placeholders, or fill-in boxes, when I select this template. I send out a specific email nearly every day, where only a few sections change, and instead of typing the entire thing every day or just modifying a previously sent email, I would like to be able to open this template, fill in the spots, and hit send. Just for example, in the subject line when the template opens, I would like it to say "Good afternoon, [Name], today is [Date]." When [Name] or [Date] is clicked on, it turns into a slot you can fill in. Is there any way to make this happen? Preferrably without going into VBA Thanks in advance!
Reyn

Answer:Create an email template/form

Open a new message, type the contents you want in there, then within the message window, click "Save As" (instead of "Send"), and click the drop-down for file type, and choose the one for "Template", then give it a name and location (such as your desktop), then click "Save".

Now, you just need to go to your desktop and click the template file, make a few changes, then click to send the message.

hello,i've been getting into a bit of a mess with this one - v.grateful for some advice. i recently installed xampp in order to test website forms that use a combination of html & php. there weren't any probs installing xampp and it runs fine. i then obtained an example of how to use a html file to input form data and a php file to send this data to an email address - fine. the two work together and are stored in the same file. when i work with xampp in the local environment i can open the html file in a browser, fill in the form, and send the file, and i receive the confirmation message (as i should) that the data has been sent etc. but where has this gone to? i have tried sending it to my email address (as advised) but this does not work (unsurprisingly because i am offline in the xampp environment at the time). i then read that xampp does not supply a mail server and this was needed - so i downloaded hamster (fine) and tried sending the html/php to these places (admin, localhost etc). the hamster log file shows that the file is being sent, but again, where to? any advice gratefully received.rolmes

I have been looking online - without much success including hotscripts.com, for a form script. The previous form I used worked - but included all the form script field between each line. Answer:online form to be delivered via email

Some possible suggestions in this thread, a few below your own in this very forum:click hereAlmost any email form handler will deliver your form field output to an specified email account - that's what the handler does.Matt's Script and Jack's Script are both very similar and work quite well. Matt's Script would be the one I'd recommend over the others. You configure about three lines of code in the form handler script, upload to your CGI bin and give it the correct permissions (assuming you are on an Apache web server) then you put a couple of hidden fields in your form and that's about it.Ask if you get stuck with specifics.

Is it possible to configure a PHP file to send the message to a particular address from a choice of two, based on the selection from a drop-down box on the form? ie. the site visitor selects option A and their message goes to address Y; select B and the message goes to Z.I thought this might be possible with an if command of some kind. RE: proxy server agents (Anonymous Surfing software).
Hello all,

I'm looking for a free proxy program (for dial-up, home pc) that does all of the following:
1. Put in "high anonymity" AKA "elite" proxy IP's that you find from websites, rather than what the program picks. Also, be able to change the Proxy IP whenever.
2. Change IE browser Referrer and User-Agent tags (not hide, just alter).
3. Function correctly while submitting an email through a JavaScript email form.

Does anyone know of such a program?

I've heard it's difficult or impossible to successfully use a JavaScript page WITHOUT showing all of your real information. Usually Java functions have to be switched off for the proxy to work, but I hear that JavaScript email forms won't work if you turn Java off. The freeproxy website, and the inet privacy website both discuss the issue. (Unable to post links to articles.)

Is there a way to get the proxy to function while using a JavaScript email form?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

click here for my related thread about PHP, in which I mentioned this problem. I have now been able to borrow some freespace for testing purposes click hereIt's supposed to output to an email address but the form handler simply triggers a message window from the user's email client.I know somebody is bound to say "why don't you script your own PHP" or "why not use a free form handler" but because I'm using NOF, those options would really be unworkable even if I knew how to use them, so I need to work out how I can get NOF to do what it's supposed to do.I suspect that it must be a script issue, but NOF is supposed to create the script file (a CGI I think, according to the very vague help files) but I cannot find any such file on the server. Great though NOF undoubtedly is, when you hit a snag or find its limitations, it's a pain in the backside.I really hope someone can come up with the answer to this. Thank you in advance.

Answer:Wondering why my NOF email form doesn't work

There are a couple of properties pallettes that relate to the form; one for the handler and one for the form itself. The latter has POST and GET, with POST selected by default. What does GET do and should I use that instead?

Having got over the PHP hurdle click here I have now discovered a new problem. My form doesn't work! click here to view it.Would anyone be able to work out, from the source code, why none of the text from the fields reaches my inbox? I just get a blank email, even though I have filled in all fields and the elseif command is included in the PHP file.

Answer:Form HTML generates blank email

I'll edit them and see if it helps. At the moment, the html is totally NOF's own and I haven't tried to randomly mess with it in case I make it worse! Thanks for the advice, John.

Answer:Auto - Form Fillup and Email to Vender

I'm going to provide you the same advice I gave to another user. Hire an Excel consultant to create a program for you. As with all programming projects, it depends on what it's worth to you. Spending a little money will get you what you need, but don't expect anyone here to pickup this challenge and give a solution for free.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it's the reality.

I want to hide a recipients email address in a form using FormMail.pl. Here is how itcame out of the box:
<INPUT type="hidden" NAME="recipient" VALUE="[email protected]">
Is there a way to use an alias or something so the @???.com isn't used? Maybe something like:
<INPUT type="hidden" NAME="alias" VALUE="jobtitle">
But I'm not sure how to go from here tying the alias value with the recipient value. And how or where does this go in the perl script? Or does another function/process/script have to be created?
All I'm trying to do is keep a bunch of newbies from blaming me (webmaster) for spam or viruses they get using email addresses I create. I give them unigue aliases that are simply redirects to their email addresses.
TIA (thanks in advance)

Answer:How to hide a recipients email address in a form

I dont' know perl at all, but If I wanted to hide the value from someone doing a view source,I would just slap that value into a session variable and then set that variable to null or empty when I was done with sending the email.

A friend has decided to switch from AOL to Sky broadband. He wonders if it is possible to save the AOL email addresses to the Outlook Express address book.I thought they were all stored at the AOL server but it may be that they are also stored somewhere on his computer. Any help would be appreciated.Awestruck

Answer:Switch form AOL to Sky, save email addresses

I attempted this once for a friend and the only way I could do it was to export the AOL Address Book as a text file and convert it to a csv which then could be opened in Excel and manipulated. Some tips here click here but I have a feeling that it may be out of date.

I get this little box in left hand corner with a sguare with a x in it and a JPG or a GIF that I cannot open. How are they sent and why can't I open them. I have Quick View Plus and the regular files. I right click on them and get save picture as ,select all and copy. What is the drill?????

Answer:email pics in diff form can't open

Take a look at IrfanView; www.irfanview.com

It's a free viewer that can handle all sorts of image files and, if you d/l it, I think the default settings will automatically 'associate' it with all the usual graphics formats like jpg, gif and bmp so that they open automatically in IrfanView when they're clicked. Can't be 100% sure because its been a long time since I got my copy!!

Alternatively, there is a method by which you can 'associate' certain file types with an existing program on your computer by using Windows Explorer. Unfortunately, I'm not clear enough on the exact method to post it and I wouldn't want to mislead you or screw up your comp.

I'm sure someone who knows the exact method will be along soon.

I'm creating an email form in Outlook 2007, and I'd like to create default "to:" and "cc:" values. However, when I'm looking at the Message tab under "Edit Compose Page", the "last, first" format is rejected when I type in an address. Likewise the [email protected] format. When I alternately go to the (All Fields) tab and try to edit the Field Properties for "To", the dialog box is grayed out.

I'm guessing I'm going about this the wrong way, and I'm hoping that this is something I'm able to do. Is there another way to do this?

Thanks a lot.

I want to create a custom form to always show the outlook attachment field.

We work with a lot of PDF files and would like to be able to drag and drop PDF pages from Adobe Reader Pro to the message body of the new e-mail. This is exctracting a PDF page directly into a newly composed e-mail.

The described function above only works when there is already one attachment added, when a PDF page is extracted into the new e-mail message body and it is the first attachment Outlook 2013 does not attach the file,

Because of this reason I want to create a custom form for composing new e-mail messages, on this form I would like to always have the attachment field visible, even when empty.

I have been in the form editor, but the field is called "Attached", this field is nowhere to be found. I can add a field "Attachment", but this is a YES/NO field with a tickbox.

Does anyone have experience in how to do the above?

At present my website has an email link and phone numbers for people to contact me. I get quite a few hits but no enquiries as yet from site.If i had an enquiry form as well as email links do you think i would get more enquiries????Know it is probably personal opinion but would welcome your comments.

Answer:Opinions please - Enquiry form or email link?

I think for a commercial site it can give a slightly more professional feel to your site. You can also set up a autorespond so that the person gets a "We'll contact you as soon as possible" message. At least they know your site is active then. However, don't incude their message in your auto response otherwise it's a gift to spammers to send messages to whoever they like using your domain.I don't know what others think but it means that you can also list your email address as an image file (rather than as a link) so that these bots that spider the web for active emails to spam don't find yours. They'll probably find you anyway - especially if your system autoresponds - but there you go - my two penneth!!

Good Afternoon,

I am in the process of publishing a form to a few email recipients that will use the form within Outlook 2007 (and I am using Infopath 2007). When I get to the section that asks for the columns that I want available to view in the outlook folder, three of the listed columns are apart of a repeating table. The question that I have is why do this columns have first in parenthesis and why do they have additional options (I can modify the function to first, last, merge, count).

Thanks for any help you provide on this matter.

Does anyone know if one can create an e-mail form letter with 2-3 attachments for a small (50-100 pcs.) mailing to to customers or prospects? My review of Word tells me that I may insert a file which may work, but it may depend upon the user for opening it correctley. If you don't have an answer please advise where I might look, for one
?

Thanx
