Setting up Outlook 2003 with my hotmail account???

Question: Setting up Outlook 2003 with my hotmail account???

I recently boought Office 2003 and I am having some trouble setting Outlook to open my hotmail account. Whenever I try to "Add new e-mail account" onto Outlook I go through the wizard and follow all the instructions (entering my e-mail account name, password etc) and it gets as far as transferring my hotmail files to Outlook and then an error window apears saying "the server responded 'access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook express now requires a subscription' please upgrade at http//'".Ok I checked out that link and the only way to upgrade there is by paying a subscription (which I don't want to do). Also the funny thing is that a friend of mine just configured his Hotmail account to Outlook only a few days ago without a problem??Does anyone know how I can set up Outlook to my Hotmail without paying a subscription??

Preferred Solution: Setting up Outlook 2003 with my hotmail account???

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: Setting up Outlook 2003 with my hotmail account???

As suggested in this link click hereyou could try MrPostman from click hereThis works for most webmail. I tried it with Yahoo, just to test it, and it worked It is has a configuration to work with Hotmail.I am not going to delete my Hotmail folders to try it while I can currently D/L to OE :-))

how do i set up my hotmail account on Mozilla Thunderbird v2??

Answer:Setting up a hotmail account on thunderbird

I believe it's pretty easy. When you open the program for the first time it goes through and asks you what you want to do and sets everything up for you...I don't know if hotmail works inside the email program...because it is its own email program in itself, but it might. Just follow the instructions and you should be good. TB is easy to use and a good emailer.

Can you get back old Hotmail account, after having renamed it to new Outlook account?
Well here is Microsoft's answer on Reddit!

If you renamed your account, and want to rename it back to the original name, you can do that.
IMPORTANT: This may not work if you are outside of the US and have a "" or "" address!
First, remove the alias that was created when you renamed your account (the alias will be for the original name).
Go to, select "Notifications" then "manage your email preferences" and you'll find links to remove aliases.
Second, go back to the Rename page, Sign In and rename back to the original name.

Hope it helps someone!

I have a Windows 10 phone (Verizon 735), a couple of Windows 10 laptops, and annual Office 365 subscription. Just a home user and have all my Contacts/Calendar in Outlook, but don't have an Outlook email account....just AOL accounts which I get via Imap/Pop.
In past, I setup to sync across laptops and phone but sketchy at best. Just got notifications to "Re-connect Outlook 2016 ". Deleted old Outlook account and added new account....tried no hotmail this time. Outlook came up great...only 1 calendar!!!!! However nothing syncing with phone. Assume still need hotmail?
All I want to do is have my Outlook contacts and calendar synced with all my devices. Assume this should be very basic as guess all this is on "My Cloud"? Also, should be the minimum if Windows phone has any chance. Appreciate any help.

Answer:Syncing Outlook 365 contacts and calendar without an Outlook Email or Exchange (Hotmail) account.

It all comes from accounts.

I'm a Hotmail Plus (is that the right term?) user so I'm paying for expanded service. It's been fine for nearly a year now, but recently, my connection has been shaky - sometimes connecting, sometimes not.

Now, I can't connect at all and I get the following errors:

Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error (0x800CCC0D) : 'The server could not be found.'

Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error (0x800CCC19) : 'A timeout occurred while communicating with the server.'

I did some trial and error work and realized that the problem is with the URL I'm using:

This address must be incorrect because when I put in "" instead, it allowed me to get through but only once. That means that the issue is not with my Outlook.

Is there another address and is anyone else having issues with the above address?

What else could be wrong?

Answer:Hotmail and Outlook 2003 (Small Bus. Edition) - NOT Outlook Express

This thread looks pretty old but nobody responded so....Hotmail to Outlook 2003 or above now has a "connector" that you need to download in order for Hotmail and Outlook to sync correctly. Here's the download location for Office Outlook Connector:

Hey guys,
i heard that outlook 2007 does not support free hotmail users.
is that true?
if it is, is there anyway to got around it?

Answer:Setting Hotmail For Outlook 2007

It was probably 12 months ago now that hotmail made the decision to cease support for outlook and outlook express and free email accounts. Their reason for this was to help eliminate spam email accounts. The only way around this is to pay the fee and then your account can be set as a POP3 through outlook or express. Oddly enough my hotmail account of 5 yrs still works as a freebie, but one of 3 yrs does not, so they may have had some sort of selection criteria in mind when doing all this.

Answer:Solved: Setting up Outlook Express 6 with hotmail

Goto Windows Live Help
Search on configure outlook express
First link will show how to add Hotmail as a pop3 account.

You will only have access to the Inbox, not any other folders.
For full access, you need to upgrade to Windows Live Mail. You'll find a download link on the same page as the pop3 instructions.

I've subscribed to Hotmail for email. The blurb from Microsoft suggests I can use Outlook as the front-end interface. Is this easy to setup? Can I download Outlook for free or is it already bundled in my XP Office suite (student edition)? Also, whether I use Outlook or the native Hotmail interface, I want to export my contacts from another pc (which uses Outlook) and import them into either Outlook or Hotmail on my new pc. How can I do this? The help for Outlook Address Book doesn't even contain the word "export", so does Bill not want me to do it?

Outlook cannot be downloaded free. You can use Outlook Express which is a cut-down version of Outlook.

Answer:outlook and hotmail account

The free Hotmail account will no longer work with Outlook. If I remember rightly a figure of about £12.00 is required to open yourself up to the biggest Spam-fest in the business.Don't get me wrong, I use Hotmail, but the levels of spam in it's system is huge and their filters only get about 2/3rd of it. You also have to check the spam folder anyway, just to see if anything has been incorrectly assigned.I reckon it's less hastle to leave the lot on line.

Hi Guys,

we have tried to verify the account and change the password using the on screen instructions however all we get is thrown back to the above message?
I have Googled this and it looks as if there is no easy fix, the one option appears to be we follow link and pay a technician £14.99 to cure the problem.
I am not fussed about the money but I am not sure if the technician is genuine?
Any help would be useful

Thank You

Answer:Cannot get into Outlook/Hotmail account

That option is a scam. Currently, Hotmail/Outlook are having problems, down for many users.

Get the machine checked for spyware/malware, there may be a redirect or similar in use.

'lo there-

gotta problem here. i've been using Outlook 2003 for about 4 months and had no bad luck with it up until now. i've added my existing hotmail account and had been able to send and receive emails without any issues. the snag that i've ran into quite a bit within the last few weeks is that i will send an email out to a correct address but the person never receives it. thought maybe i would doing something really stupid like having typos but that isn't the case. i have an yahoo account that i sent a couple of test messages to and they're getting there days later but mostly not at all. i've uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook 2003 but my outlook has been pretty sucky so far. does anyone know what goof-off mistake i've been making? thanks in advance

Answer:Outlook 2003 & Hotmail

Keep in mind that Outlook only supports 1 HTTP email account per profile. The Hotmail account is HTTP so if your Yahoo account is also HTTP they cannot co-exist peacefully in the same profile. This type of behavior can also be caused by a corrupted .PST file. If your Yahoo account is POP3 then try creating a new profile to see if that helps.

I tried to import my hotmail contacts into Outlook 2003 yesterday. What I did was create my hotmail account in Outlook express then export from Hotmail into OE. Once this was done I tried to import my contacts from OE to Outlook 2003. Now this is where it gets a little confusing. When I exported my contacts(I thought) from Hotmail, it actually downloaded my address book from Hotmail. Now all my recent contacts are in Hotmail contacts not address book. I spent 5 hours trying to fix this last night, anybody, please, anythoughts. From doing some investingating this morning somebody mentions to copy the Hotmail contacts into .txt file and save on desktop then import that into Outlook 2003. Please help, I have hundreds of contacts that I need.

Also, why can't I reply to a message that I recieved in my hotmail account that I set up in Outlook 2003. Please help

Answer:Outlook 2003 & Hotmail PLEASE HELP ME

Hi HelpLineguy

Along the same lines, will require a bit of work.
Open the Hotmail website, create a new message.
Click the To: field
Add every contact into the To: field, until all contacts are added, or you receive a message that you can add no more.

Then Right click in the To: field > Select All > Copy.
Paste all the Contacts into the Body of the message, then delete the entries in the To: Field and insert your email address.

You now have a backup of your Contacts, that are comma separated, send yourself that message.
Select and Copy all the email addresses in the body of the message and paste them into a Text File, save the file with a .csv file extension then Import them into Outlook 2003.

Also, why can't I reply to a message that I received in my hotmail account that I set up in Outlook 2003. Please helpClick to expand...

Are you receiving an error message?
If so, please post the exact message.
Were you able to Reply in Outlook Express?

I told the computer NO I do NOT want to "try" outlook go directly to hotmail when it started showing up upon log in. Well it ignored me and forced it on me anyway. At first it would let me just use that gear thing and tell it to switch back. It KEEPS doing it though? Is there a way to make it NOT automatically force the outlook on me? Something is wrong with it if I use the IE browser to get into my email. It lets me log in then sits there spinning its wheels indefinitely. I figured out to go use a different computer with firefox on it to log in so I could at least clean it out from all the junk but I am fed up now. Am I or am I not going to be aloud to KEEP hotmail. Will I eventually be forced to keep the outlook? I hate to have to do it but if that is the case I need to quick pull all my contacts etc and start using yahoo or something else that actually WORKS and lets me delete crap without opening it first!

Answer:outlook keeps taking over my hotmail account

As I understand it we can continue to use and addresses indefinitely. I suspect that the Hotmail GUI will disappear completely one of these days and we'll be left with the Outlook GUI or one of Microsoft's email clients.

I have an outlook account <removed by mod>
i'm not able to login here because of password is incorrect, so finally how to reset it. I'm using window 10 OS.
I need toll free Outlook/Hotmail support number.

Answer:How to get back into my Outlook/Hotmail account?

i have removed the email address as it will provide you with a lot of SPAM
There is no support number , for outlook/hotmail as far as I know, BUT that may have changed now with Windows 8 (when MS first started linking email accounts to PCs for login)
you can goto chat - and MS will assist via Chat service

If you have forgotten the password - goto another Pc that works
Login page for the account
Then click on forgotten password
you then have to either do
a) Enter the mobile number to get a text code to reset - these should have been set up when the account was first created
b) Enter the alternative email address to get a Code to reset - these should have been set up when the account was first created
c) Enter the answers to the security questions

If you cannot do any of these - then there is a form to try and rescover the account
You need to provide a lot of details, and on the three attempts I have tried this to help people, they have an email back saying not enough information and ended up changing to a new email address and never did recover - BUT Thats before this windows 8 and using MS password

so you maybe OK to use Chat line

What country are you in - you may have a support number - not sure it will be toll free
the UK is 0344 800 2400

I still have a Hotmail account I want to secure better. Right now all I have to do is enter my email address and then approve the login with the authenticator on my phone.
Well jeez.. talking about making it easy to break into my account! If someone knows the code of my phone, all they need to do is look at my iPhone info and they can see my email address. Then, simply enter the email address and approve it and BAM they're in!
At least Gmail asks for a password AND the authenticator code when logging onto an 'unknown' device. Or does it work the same way for Hotmail/Live/Outlook?
I prefer to always log in with my password initially. If I didn't have a password on my PC, they'd very easily be able to log into my Hotmail account, since 'stealing' a phone login code is very, very easy. People will just stand behind you, watch you tap your login and BAM it's game over. Sure, they'd still need to get a hold of my phone, but man, I just hate it that Hotmail switched it around.
You should always have to enter your password first, and an extra code from your phone as an extra.
I'm asking this specifically, because my Gmail has a Hotmail account as backup email address.

I have no problem accessing this account in FireFox and none of my other Hotmail and Outlook accounts are causing this problem in Outlook 2010. I am running Windows 10 on this computer and on my Wife's Tablet and I can access the Problematic Hotmail account from the Tablet and also from my new Lumia 950XL windows Phone 10. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks, Ed

I have a Microsoft account and I am using it with Windows 10.

I want to use the Windows 10 built in Mail App.

It seem very nice.

I added multiple Gmail and Yahoo accounts without any issue.

But, finally, when I want to add more Hotmail accounts Windows 10 told me to use "Windows Hello" or something like that.

I really don't want that Windows adds ANOTHER USER in my computer, I only want to use MULTIPLE Hotmail/Outlook mails and their contacts and calendar!!!

I am afraid that it will add them as USERS of the computer, I don't want it!!!

PS: I found an half solution, I don't add the Hotmail account as "Outlook" account but as GENERIC INTERNET account. And it works. But I cannot use CONTACT and CALENDARS of it.

Hi Guys

I have an old hotmail account so I can use programs such as outlook to view my e-mails which is what I have been doing for many years though Outllook 2002,2003 and now 2007. Everything has been fine up until this week when I started getting a 0x800cccf0 error. I have looked this up on google and it tells me that it happens when you have more than one hotmail account I don't and that is only for outlook 2002. I have attached a jpeg so you can see the error message in full. I don't know if it is a hotmail problem or not my NTL account is working fine. The PW is correct as I can log onto the webmail.

Any Ideas

I have perused many forums about this and can find nothing that is comprehensible or useful!

I have created a folder in my Outlook for my Hotmail account, and the Inbox contents have come over but not the folders. It seems a simple request but I can't find a solution.

1. I don't need Outlook Connecter - the account is already created.
2. Microsoft Help is useless, so please don't tell me to go there!
3. If you are going to speak to me of .pst files, please explain what they are, where they are and what to do with them!

I can't find anything in the Outlook menus - am I missing something? I also can't find anything in Hotmail.

Double-check the account type. It should be POP or MAPI (if you're using the Outlook Connector), not Exchange.

Answer:Forward Gmail & Hotmail To Outlook 2003

Open up your Gmail options and enable POP/IMAP access. There you will find instructions to set up Outlook to get your GMail account.

To access Hotmail:

Here are the settings to access your e-mail messages via POP3:

POP server: (Port 995)
POP SSL required? Yes
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example [email protected]
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
SMTP server: (Port 25 or 587)
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)

I have numerous hotmail accounts and am kind of bored of always logging into them to check whats new and to keep them open (log in atleast once every 30 days). Really, I only use one as primary and the others are there because of the unique name, shopping or other registrations. However, I wanted to use Outlook 2003, which I just got as I now have Microsoft Office 2003 Professional. Well, wasn't it a kick in the teeth to find out that MS want extra money in order to use hotmail accounts with Outlook. Is there any way around this? Am i reading it wrong or do MS really want more money off me to use my hotmail account in Outlook?I started to think of alternatives as I refuse to pay for that and came across Mozilla Thunderbird. Has anyone used this and is it any good? Does it work with hotmail accounts? How does it compare with Outlook 2003 or is it more like Outlook Express? Finally, by using either outlook or thunderbird will I avoid having to log into these accounts once every 30 days as every time I use the mail software it will automatically check for new mail in these accounts? Many Thanks for any help in this area.

I am running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Prof. I installed Outlook Connector 12.1 and added my hotmail and MSN accounts. Both showed up in my mail folders list and both connected to the web and downloaded just fine.

When I tried to Send/Receive just my hotmail account, it was not listed in the Send/Receive group, so I checked the Email Accounts list. The hotmail account is not listed in my Email Accounts list (tools, Email Accounts, View/change), yet it is showing in the Mail Folders. I can send mail from that account if I hit reply on a received message but not if I try to select that account on a new message. I uninstalled Connector, and removed MSN from the list but I cannot remove hotmail as itís not on the list of accounts. When I try to close the folder (right click, close [email protected]) I get an error saying to use the Email Accounts list to remove it...but itís not on the list.

Any idea how to remove an email account that shows up in the Mail Folders but is not listed as an account in the Email Account list? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:Solved: Outlook Connector- remove Hotmail account

Welcome to TSG!

Try this:

In Outlook's Account Settings window, go to the Data Files tab and select your Personal Folders and click Open Folder.

In the window that comes up you should see a file named emailid_hotmail.ost. Close Outlook and delete this file.

Reopen Outlook to see if Hotmail account is gone.

All Windows Live Hotmail accounts can be used with Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 or with Office Outlook 2003, whether you use a free or paid Windows Live Hotmail account. To use your Windows Live Hotmail account together with Outlook, you must first install the Microsoft Office Outlook Connector for Windows Live Hotmail.

By default, when adding hotmail accounts on Outlook using EAS, the account got added with FULL HOTMAIL NAME:
[email protected]

There was a process by which the left pane of Outlook showed any Name that user wanted.

Now with reconnecting Hotmail account in Outlook (going to Exchange), the same situation of FULL HOTMAIL NAME in the left panel has come up.

The older process (with EAS) does not work.

Any ideas?

Hi. I have a similar problem. I don't have a Microsoft account, I don't want one. My Windows 8 E-Mail address is for the E-Mail account on the family webserver, and yet when I get the confirmation E-Mail, it links me to a hotmail/outlook login page.

hotmail/outlook can't process my Windows 8 E-Mail account, how do I get past this aggravating obstacle?

Answer:hotmail/outlook can't process my Windows 8 E-Mail account

When Win 8 asks you to verify your account, it shows you your email address in one box with some of the characters replaced by *s and wants you to type in the email address in its entirety in another box. Once you do that, an email is sent to that address with a code for you to enter to verify.

There shouldn't be any confusion about which email address to enter unless you have 2 different but very similar email addresses.

Do you add in the services, create a OU and then make a distribution group? Or is it set up under the services and it just carries over to each user? Hi All,
Well I finally was able to get my Office 07 to install and work, and now I have come to another Hurdle......First let me tell you that this version of office is the Enterprise Edition of Office 2007, It was given to me with my companies permission to install on my home PC as I do a lot of work from home....the reason I tell you this is because I am not sure if the Ent Edition is diferent in any way! So my new problem is that when I try to set up my email accounts in Outlook I go into Tools/Account Settings then New under the email tab....I then get an "Auto Account Setup" Page with a "Manually configure server settings" Checkbox option at the bottom.....So When I try to use Auto setup and input my email account settings, it fails to create the then when I check the box to manually configure and hit next it opens a "Choose E-mail Service" page that has 3 options with radiel buttons...The first being "Internet Email" (pop, imap...etc) the second is "Microsoft Exchange" and the third is "Other"....My problem is the only option it will let me choose is Microsoft Exchange, and the other two are Greyed Out and unselectable!

BTW I am currently using Windows Live Mail for my default email client, in case this has any bearing on my problem.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Answer:Exporting Email Setting in Outlook 2003

All the information for your Outlook is held in a file called Outlook.pst In XP it will be found in C:\Documents and Settings\GORILLAZ\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\OutlookYou potentially need to copy all the files in this folder to include any additional files such as Archive.pst (Contains your Archived Messages and Personal Folders). Then you simply Import them to a new computer. Are you just trying to back them up or are you trying to set up a new computer with the same information?

Hi, I've a problem at work, one of my co-worker on different shift is causing problems by putting a filter to certian folders in Outlook so that other workers on duty on different shifts cannot access the contents of those folder in the performance of their job.

It's no use in talking to the immediate boss, who considers him as his personal pet, willing to blame other workers for his antics.

I already know how to remove the filter, but other workers don't, besides I want a more permanent solution to this problem. (He's been deliberately witholding information he was supposed to pass on so that other workers can look foolish.)

I want to be able to trace digitally, get a time stamp when the filter was applied to those folders so that I could formally charge him (he's the only one with access to computers during his shift) with sabotaging the work.

Does anyone know how to get a time stamp when the filter was applied or setting was changed?

It seems that the Microsoft Outlook profile is corrupted. Try creating a new user profile:

1. Go to Start -> Control Panel ->Mail icon.
2. Click Show Profiles.
3. Click New Profile and type a name.
4. Add the e-mail account in the E-mail Options.
5. Type the server name and user name.
6. Cick on Check Name.
7. Change the default profile to the one you have created.
8. Open Outlook and add your archive file by going to File -> New -> Outlook Data File.
9. Select your archive file.

Hi Guys,

I'm setting up a new system for some of our users, and the long and the short of it is I want them to set flags on the outgoing mail so that when it reaches it's destination, rules on the inbox can use the flag to filter the mail into relevant folders.

For instance, in one example a user may create a new message, fill in the address, subject and body and then click on the 'message flag' icon on the toolbar, overwrite the 'Follow up' string with say 'For Canterbury' and then send their mail. When the mail reaches it's destination a rule reads the 'For Cantebury' flag and moves it into a relevant folder.

Now it all works fine, but the system is set to be expanded, and if possible I'd like to have a toolbar when a user creates a new e-mail, that has buttons relating to all the possible flags, they press the relevant button, and hey pretso the flag is set.

I tried recording a new macro, going through the process above, but none of the actions were recorded, if I had the vba script, I could easily amend it for all the given flags, and create a toolbar, saving them time, and me headaches as they're bound to make typos and the like if they manually have to type the flags.

So can this be done? If so, anyone know how? Or if not, can anyone think of another way of acheiving this?

Hope all that makes sense, and many thanks for any help you're able to offer me.

Dear Friends,
I have problems setting up Outlook 2010 to use the appropriate email account and signature automatically when replying to messages.
I use 3 email accounts, and for each account I have created a distinct signature both for new and reply emails.
The problem is that when someone sends me an email to any of the 3 accounts and I reply, no matter what, Outlook always uses the reply signature of the default email account. It should use the reply signature corresponding to the account the email was sent to.
So far, when replying to messages, I always have to remember to manually switch the ?from? account to match the account the sender used to send me the email.
Outlook is supposed to use the appropriate account when replying to messages. So if someone sends an email to my business email account, and even if that is not the default account, Outlook should use the account and signature I have assigned to reply to messages for that specific account and not always use by default the reply account and signature assigned to the default account.
Please help me resolve this issue so that I do not mistakenly reply to someone using the wrong account.
For example, I do not want to reply to family and friends with the account used for business. If family and friends send emails to my personal email account, Outlook should automatically use that account when replying and thus inserting the reply signature for my personal account.
Look forward to any guidance.

Hello Mario,

Lets start with a few questions to eliminate the obvious. I assume you setup the signatures seperately for each account using this panel?

I found some additional information about signatures here: (browse down towards the bootom of the page)

One suggestion I read, was that the signature it picks to use is related to the folder that you currently have highlighted. I'm not entirely sure how that works, perhaps you could experiment with that?

Let us know how you get on.

After three hours or so of frustration and annoyance, it dawned on me that I have Google 2 tier verification turned on and then used the unique password to configure my Outlook POP3 account successfully.

When I attempted to add an IMAP account, however, I wasn't so lucky. It won't configure automatically (like Pop3 did) so I've gone to recommended manual settings, used the unique password, inserted the recommended port designations for incoming and smtp servers, but as soon as I attempt to initiate the account I get a popup window: The Requested Operation Failed.

I do want to use an IMAP account, but I'm not sure where to go from here. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

My computer has ME and my wife's is running WXP. I am on the internet & she is networked thru me. Using a LinkSys(BEFSR41)
Networking works fine, no problems. My only problem is setting up her E-Mail. I am a little timid about it. Where and how do I do it? She would like to use her own Mail Acct. She does have Outlook Express. The only thing on the page is the welcome page.

Answer:networking setting up email account outlook express

You'd setup her email account just like you did yours. You can call your ISP's technical support for more information.

The problem is my mothers Outlook 2003 view settings wont stay put. She insists on having the panels in horizontal arrangement, with the preview pane on. But everytime she starts Outlook, it reverts to vertical!?

Her outgoing mail is also duplicating, so recipients are getting two of everything.

She has a DSL account with no native POP3 support, so her email was 'rigged' for her by their tech support so her emails are coming through a web based mail server into Outlook.

I've tried looking at the settings in my Outlook (same version) and have no idea what is going on. I'm trying to narrow down the possibities before I commit to the long drive.

I'm thinking it's an admin permissions issue, or something funky with the web-based to Outlook setup?

Answer:Outlook 2003 users view setting keep resetting

Does she have Norton Anti-Virus? Sometimes if it is set to scan "outgoing" email messages it will send the message twice. Have her disable that feature and see if it solves the problem.

Not sure why her settings keep changing, someone with a better working knowledge of Outlook might know that one.

Greetings All,

I have a user that wants to be able to Reply to All in an Outlook 2003 folder. She recievs resumes through e-mails for different positions in the company, Pharmacy, HR, Help Desk, etc. When an e-mail resume comes in to her, lets say for a Pharmicist, there is an Outlook Rule to move it to an Outlook Folder named Pharmacy. When the person for the position is hired, she wants to be able to reply to everyone in that Pharmacy Folder that the position has been filled.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Good Afternoon, Gentlemen,
I have an extremely annoying problem, with Outlook. A friend told me that some how a tick in a box which enabled me to download my emails into Outlook from my internet provider [ PlusNet ] must have become un-ticked.
He did not know where it is in my version because I have 'Microsoft Office Professional 2003'. I would be very grateful if someone could tell me where this box is and - just as importantly - how to get to it. The last few weeks have been very frustrating because I do not know how it became un-ticked, with the result that when the 'send/receive' button is pressed in the bottom right hand corner of the screen it now says 'Send/Receive Complete' and my computer has downloaded NOTHING. I must admit I probably did not notice for a couple of weeks because I do not download every week but it is now beginning to irritate me considerably.
So, if someone can help me, I will be very grateful.
Many thanks in advance.

Answer:How do I enable an account in Outlook 2003, please!!!

Don't know of any simple box to tick. I'd suggest in Outlook click Tools, Account Settings clcik your account if it there then Remove. Set up the account again following this Plusnet guide for Outlook 2003.
