Preferred Solution: why my phone is not supporting OTG pendrive

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: why my phone is not supporting OTG pendrive

The answer is simple...its not supported. Either the hardware is missing or Microsoft chose not to.

I just got a renewal email for my MLB.Com subscription, and learned that AT Bat will not be supported on Windows Phone this year. If this is true, that is very disappointing to me. I called their support number and they confirmed it.

Answer:IS MLB.COM not supporting Windows Phone in 2015?

Last year the windows phone app didn't come out until right before the season, and the years before that it was after the season started, I'm hoping that's the case and it will be coming.

Using the Chase Bank app on Win Phone 920 today I got this notice: "! We will no longer support the Chase Mobile app for Windows Phone as of 3/22/2015 and this app has been removed from the Windows Phone Store."
What's up with this? Is Chase totally abandoning Win Phone? Or are they replacing the app? This is the one thing that might drive me away from Win Phone, even though I don't want to go!

hi all .. im looking to (cheaply) build a PC that can take advantage of all the greater ram made possible by windows 7 64 bit.

id like to set something up with about 8 - 12 gb of RAM if possible.

i was looking @ the GA-P67A-UD4-B3:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3759#ov

the above link say this in specs:

4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 32 GB of system memory
* Due to Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than 4 GB.
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 2133/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules
Support for non-ECC memory modules
Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules
(Go to GIGABYTE's website for the latest supported memory speeds and memory modules.)

I am unable to understand what that means practically.

does that mean i the MB can support 32gb of memory?

Answer:supporting > 4gb RAM

What does "supporting 256MB(128MB on board)" mean in terms of graphic cards?

Answer:supporting memory...

I'm guessing it's talking about a motherboard with internal memory, and you can set it to 256MB, if you use the system memory.

I wasn't aware that certain cases don't support usb 3.0, how is this possible since it's the same size/shape as usb 2.0?

Answer:Cases supporting USB 3.0

Because USB 3.0 is just now beginning to be implemented. Plus, there is a ton of surplus cases with USB 2.0 by the many manufactures still in stock that needs to be moved.

Even brand new offerings from laptop manufactures still only carry USB 2.0 though some are offered with 3.0.

At this point neither AMD or Intel offer native support on their cpus for USB 3.0 though if rumor holds true the new AMD Bulldozer cpus may offer it.

As for cases the Cooler Master HAF-942 has it and the newer version of the HAF-932 has it as well. Keep in mind these are full towers.

So current setup is that I have 2 monitors hooked up to my GTX 260 video card.

The GTX video supports:

2 DMI ports
1 S-video port

I am currently using 1 monitor with a DMI cable and the other monitor is using a DMI to VGA adapter with a VGA cable.

The problem:

I recently went and purchased the necessary items to hook up my TV. However the problem doesn't seem to be the computer not detecting the TV, it seems to be that my GPU only supports 2 displays at once.

That picture was from the Nvidia control panel which allows me configure the dual setup.

I'm looking for a way to get past the 2 display max.

Answer:GPU only supporting 2 displays

Ive never heard of a DMI port do you mean DVI? Its not possible to have more than two displays attached to any nvidia card the s-video will just replace the second dvi port.

An old couple (87 and 90!) who are neighbours of mine want to learn how to use a computer so they can email their grandchildren in the USA. They have been given a 10-year-old computer to see whether they can cope with using it, before they spend money on a new one. The computer runs Windows 95.I have been trying to create an email account for them with Wanadoo, but I can't get their free CD to work properly on a Win 95 system. Can anyone suggest how I can get a free (phone charges only) email account set up on this old machine, so this couple can try their hand at email?Outlook Express is already resident on the machine. Thanks for any ideas!

Answer:ISP supporting Windows 95?

If you have the pop3 and smtp settings for Wannado you can enter them manualy into Outlook Express. You will also need the user name, password and dial-up telephone number. You shouldnt need to run the CD at all if you have those details

I have DVD express copy for over a year now and I love it! I have a 3 kids and they can easily distroy a £15 DVD in under a week. With this software, I keep the original safe and let them have the copy! Its a shame all the rich gits in USA (10% of total wealth) are afraid that the small man might get something usefull which will stop him having to waste his hard earned money, and their profits might drop under a $ billion and they might have to lay off some workers to keep their 42 cars! But I digress..Now 321 Studios has stopped trading, where can I get support for my copy of DVD express? I need a clean install but you need to register online or ring a number(which just rings).Does anyone know what the state of play is at the moment?Regards.(Name withheld just in case the boy in black come round)

Answer:Regarding Port not supporting

Hi: HP does not support your notebook for 32 bit operating systems. I don't know what you mean by 'Port not supporting.' If you need the USB 3 drivers for the USB 3 ports, you have to get the driver directly from Intel. Download, unzip and run the setup.exe file from the link below... https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22824/USB-3-0-Driver-Intel-USB-3-0-eXtensible-Host-Control...

A few of our real estate agents in the office have been buying new laptops lately, which have been coming with 64bit Vista. For the office, it seems that our network printer drivers do not support 64 bit operating systems.

Is that something that's normally supported at an office? All mobile devices and 32 bit operating systems have no problem printing; it's just the 64bit that seem to have the driver installation issues.

I'm not really sure if I should investigate updating our printer drivers to those compatible with 64bit Vista (if even available - we're talking heavy duty Savin C2530 like printers). What would you do?

Answer:Supporting Laptops with 64-bit OS

Wipe and reinstall Vista 32bit.

Or you could have them print it as a XPS or PDF document and get them to print that document out from a computer with the proper drivers.

Is you psu powerful enough?

Take a look at this PSU Wattage Calculator. Add another 30% to whatever figure it gives you, as a safety margin.

If it turns out not to be a psu problem, we`ll see what else we can come up with.

whoa i just read today in Maximum PC that a Nforce4 mB is soon to hit the market...this MB will be able to run two GPU's(identical GPU) at the same time thru PCI express...runing both the x16 and x8 at x16...the only problem i think is the north and south bridge thats on the MB and the lack of pci slots and ide hookups for expansion..check it out for yourself...the SATA data tranfer is going to be at around 300mb/s..i have the nForce3 and i transfer around 166mb/s i think..(<-not to sure)...i wouldnt buy this card because why run two GPU's?? most games you dont even need a 256mb GPU..i run 256graphics off my 128...decide for yourself..o yeah so far its socket 754 and 939
:hotouch:

Answer:New MB supporting dual GPU's

Shaggy, the old PCI bus is being replaced with the PCI-X buss. all new hardware will be designed for the new bus. Since most equipment is now built onto the motherboard it'll be hard to fill up the 2-4 PCI-X there are. IDE is being replaced with SATA, you'lll even find SATA DVD and CD burners out. These nForce 3 and 4 boards are coming with 6-8 SATA drive connectors. As for 2 vid cards, well, that would give you support for 4 monitors natively. You'll probably need that just to keep two 64-bit processors busy.

IDE and PCI are going the way of Serial, Parallel and PS2 connectors.

So then it tells me to check my internet security settings. They're set to Medium. And that's what it says to put it at.

I have a Saitek Eclipse keyboard, which, while I love it, it causes one somewhat large problem. It designates itself as a game controller. Since it's drivers are obviously installed long before I have a chance at installing any other controller, it ends up being first on the list of controllers. For some games (especially older ones), this causes a problem because they only support one controller, and recognize my keyboard as that controller. Is there any way short of uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for my keyboard to fix this problem¿

Ok guys, am working on a network that is using a Cisco Catalyst 6509 with 2 supervisor modules and it's running IOS version 12.2(33)SX?H7, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3), image s72033_rp-?ADVIPSERVI?CESK9_WAN-?M. We are using Solarwinds Orion for NPM and using Solarwinds UnDP (Universal Devise Poller) to manually configure some pollers on that particular switch but the MIB I need to poll is sysConfigSupervisorModuleNo (OID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.4.1.1.52) but it says that the MIB is not supported. Does anyone know of either:

1. a site that outlines the MIB's each IOS supports
2. a particular IOS that has support for this MIB
3. another solution to having the Supervisor module report it's condition as an alert within Solarwinds Orion?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jack

Answer:issue with IOS not supporting specific MIB

does anyone have any experience with using MIBs and OIDs in their network? At this point anything might help.

I did find a site that lists various MIB's supported by the various IOS versions, I will post that tomorrow as I'm out of time for today. Not sure if I have to import the particular MIB into an IOS version that supports it or what. Again, will write more on this tomorrow. If nothing else maybe someone out there will be able to learn from my own ramblings and mistakes here (if no one else can help me out).

Organizations that depend on old versions of Internet Explorer may want to consider a dual browser strategy.Click to expand...

Hi Experties..I am running Windows 2000 proffessional OS. I always use to search on net. my problem is, its not supporting any other language like HINDI or TAMIL. it supports only English. To make multi language, what should I do, I need to install any hardware or any third party software to make it easy. please suggest me........Thanks in advance.this is my sys config.CPU - P4 Speed - 1.6 Ghz.RAM - 512 MBOS - W2K Proff.

Answer:W2K system not supporting any other language

I don't presently have a computer that has 2000 on it, but many things in XP are the same or similar in 2000.Here's what you do in XP....You have to go into Control Panel - Classic view - Regional and Language Options.Languages tab.Click on the Details button.Click on the Add button.Select the language you want to add from the drop down list, click on OK.On the Languages page, you may also need to click on the blank boxes in front of the lines forInstall languages with complex script....orInstall files for East Asian languagesto insert a checkmark in the box, then click on OK.If your Windows installation is not one that is an original brand name system installation, you may be prompted to insert the Windows CD so that files can be installed in Windows.

I have had windows 10 running on my OptiPlex 390 for a while. however, I crashed my machine and could not get it to upgrade again. I want to buy a windows 10 disk copy and download it from that. will that work.??

Answer:OptiPlex 390 supporting windows 10

When you got 10 working initially, did you activate it? If so, you can download the Windows 10 ISO for free from Microsoft, and skip the portion asking for a Windows key. I am not sure if this will fix the issue you have, but it might save you from buying another copy.Best regards,Brad

It's all about money, remember that. So let's get a petition going where we say we are willing to pay for continuing support. Each one that is, pays a fee, one time for many years or on a yearly basis (probably the best seller). If enough of us sign up, they will have no excuse not to continue support of Windows 7. Personally, I do not like at all any of the latest versions. Alternatively, we could crowd source a firm to do it. Now Windows may be stubern. At that point we can crowd suit them: We bought their product, we are willing to pay for support past it's reasonable lifetime (in their opinion), so I would think it is a tort for them not to accept a reasonable offer to continue supporting it.

Answer:RAM Upgrading-> Supporting Motherboard...

Cheap RAM isn't always worth the risk!
Older RAM an be more expensive as the customer base shrinks.
Not worth fitting more than 4 Gig if you are only running a 32bit version of windows 7 as it cant use anymore.
Crucial have a RAM test, they are not the cheapest place to buy from however if the RAM doesn't work when you install it they will replace it.
You could always use Crucial's RAM check to find out what RAM is suitable for your machine then buy it cheaper from elsewhere.

On 8 April Windows will stop supporting XP:
click here I replace XP on my PC?
A couple of friends have said no need. Eventually I might want apps that aren't compatible with XP, but until then it's just a matter of security. One friend has said that if I have Malwarebytes (free software) and run it frequently I should be okay (but Malwarebytes' site indicates that it should be used in conjunction with a regular anti-virus device [can you recommend a good one, preferably free?]). Another friend said that virus creators would not be interested in targeting XP.
Or should I download a more recent version of Windows? The Microsoft compatibility test informed me that it should be possible to install Windows 8 on my PC, but then stated that it wasn't available for download in this country. So how would I obtain a download for Windows 7 or 8? What sort of price?

Hello.

I just received a new job, my first as a help desk/support technician, and I have to confess I'm a little daunted. Although I've been prepping for the A+ cert, I've got two weeks to do some very intensive studying. Can anyone recommend a solid book on supporting 2000 and XP in networks? I think I'm looking for a quick reference type of text, something to refer to fast when I'm stuck and looking like an idiot in front of the clients.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, new member here.
Just wondered whether this pentium 4: http://www.intel.com/products/server...+proc_p4_em64&
is as good as an Athlon 64 3500? I want to use it mainly for gaming, plus all the other usual bits.

I ask because I wanted to get a motherboard with pci express ports to get a pci express graphics card which i hear is better than AGP? And I cant actually find an amd mobo with pci express. Im new to all this stuff so if you can just clear it up it would be very appreciated!

P.S. Is the Nvidia 6600 any good?

Thanks!

Answer:Pentium 4 supporting 64 bit - any good?

The 64bit AMD is most likely going to be better for gamming, i havn't seen or heard anything about 64 bit intels, so that is news to me. Just by a rule of thumb, AMD's fair better in games and P4's to better at number crunching like compression stuff or anything processor intensive. As of right now there are no PCI-e boards that support AMD 64's, so right now it's a toss up. 64 bit, or PCI-e. As far as that card, it all depends on what you want to do. It's a nice card for gamming as long as you arn't picky and what the very very best. I would recommend the GT version if you are looking for something in that price range from nvidia. A bunch of people will probably come in here and talk video cards and say that one is better than the next, but it's all really relative to your system, so just look at your budget and go with whatever you prefer. Nvidia is a good company and the 6600 GT is a good bang for the buck, well worth the extra for the better model.

Recently upgraded to Windows 7. My Google Chrome and IE were working fine for a few days, I was able to access the internet, on both IE and Chrome. Then I start up my laptop today, try to start a download, it goes for 2 seconds and stops. This occurs in both IE and Chrome. I am not the most technically skilled, does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing the downloads to stop almost instantly?

Answer:IE and Chrome not supporting downloads

What are you trying to download? Maybe the file isn't available anymore. Is any sort of error message given?

You can go to this site and run some tests:

http://www.dslreports.com/tools

You can also go here and try downloading this app:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/pidgin/

Sourceforge is a legit site and you can always delete the file once it downloads --unless you're looking for a multi-protocol IM client.

Okay so I have been taking random looks here and there on some of the tools BC recommends, and uses... To my dismay, I have found that most them do not support 64bit processors... Though it is understandable that there are still a lot of people who do not have 64bit processors, they are becoming more and more on the rise... I have had my E-machines, for almost 3 years, and it too is a 64bit processor... So I wonder why it is, that a good amount of theses tools do not support 64bit processors...

Answer:64bit supporting tools

64 bit processor is rather new in the developer's world. Not in the hardware world, though.

Developers have to change up methods of developing so their applications will work properly on 64 bits.

I recently purchased a gen4 Carbon for my mother, who is 3k miles away and very computer illiterate. I'm unable to debug onsite, so would like some clarification. She has an older printer (HP 1102 laserjet) that she tried plugging into her carbon via USB, but will not print. going into printer settings and running the troubleshooter, it states that this is not a USB3.0 device and might not be supported. my understanding is that USB3.0 should be backwards compatible. is there something that must be enabled (such as a legacy mode) to allow her to use her printer? what else could be causing the issue?

Earlier this year, we announced that Google Chrome would continue support for Windows XP through the remainder of 2015. At that time, we strongly encouraged users on older, unsupported platforms such as Windows XP to update to a supported, secure operating system. Such older platforms are missing critical security updates and have a greater potential to be infected by viruses and malware.

Today, we?re announcing the end of Chrome?s support for Windows XP, as well as Windows Vista, and Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8, since these platforms are no longer actively supported by Microsoft and Apple. Starting April 2016, Chrome will continue to function on these platforms but will no longer receive updates and security fixes.

If you are still on one of these unsupported platforms, we encourage you to move to a newer operating system to ensure that you continue to receive the latest Chrome versions and features.

Hi Jordan. If you computer is stable, then as long as you have backed up your installation I don't think you need to worry. When Microsoft stop supporting Windows 98, your computer won't stop working and there will still be plenty of support on the web, it will just be that Microsoft will no longer investigate problems. The updates from Microsoft are listed on this Microsoft page:- click here, but you will see that there are very few that you are likely to need.

I'm looking to pickup 3 identical NICs and use 2 in Win XP and eventually Vista boxes, and one on my NAS (unRAID) in linux.

My current setup involves a Cable Modem into my WRT150N router running DD-WRT, and then Cat 6 running out to a Gig-E switch (Netgear GS108 v2) which connects via Cat 6 to the 3 PCs. The router also connects directly to a vonage box, PAP2 I think.

Now, the GS108 switch supports Jumbo Frames with a 9000 MTU AFAIK.

This is a list of NICs known to work well with the unRAID software:

# Intel PRO/1000 Gigabit Ethernet (At least one report of this being broken)
# Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet
# Netgear GA311 Gigabit Ethernet
# Realtek Gbit - RTL8169S-32 chip
# D-Link DGE-528T Gigabit Ethernet

I was leaning towars the Netgear GA311NA, because I like netgear products and I assumed they would work well together easily.

However, I can't find anything on netgear's website or newegg or ncix etc that says it supports Jumbo Frames.

This really is a must, as I'm serving large video files and copying stuff around a lot (4.5GB - 15GB files)

I want to get the best performance out of my network so that I'm not swearing at it (as I am right now, it is too slow.)

So, does the GA311 support Jumbo Frames with an MTU of 9000?

If so, is it a decent NIC?

If not what is my best choice?

Thanks!

Answer:NIC supporting Jumbo Frames 9000 MTU

Here's a list of some jumbo frame capable equipment. It's not a complete list mind you, but it's a start. It states that the GA311 only supports an MTU up to 7500.

http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~joe/jumbo-clean-gear.html

I know that SMC makes some PCI NICs that have jumbo frame support and are based on a Marvell chip. This is the one I've got and it supports up an MTU of 9000.

I read the one news blurb Steve posted earlier regarding Firefox, ads, and whatnot... It's something I've been wondering about for a while actually (only switched from IE to Firefox like three months ago myself). I disabled the ad blocking option a couple weeks ago and did a couple click thru to the ads on the small sites I visit most often but it's obviously not something that's very convenient.

Fact of the matter is I like browsing with the ads turned off on most sites usually as they can be pretty obtrusive and distracting... However, I'm more than willing to enable the ads for specific sites if I were able to do it easily (or easier than just enabling it for all and doing some click-thrus, then disabling them again)...

So, here's where y'all come in. Anyone know of a Firefox extension that lets ya treat ad-blocking on a per-site basis (or maybe even per-ad basis)? Or some other method of dutifuly supporting the ad income of sites such as [H] while avoiding the assault of ads on most other sites that you really don't care much for?

Heck I'd rather pay my total potential ad revenue as a yearly figure rather than be subjected to ads or be bothered to go outta my way to go click on 'em... Stuff like the system guides with the Newegg links is much more compelling as I read those anyway and click the links to help out and generally to see how prices are stacking up these days.

Apologies if this has been covered before -- tried searching but did not find. I have an R60 9456-57U with the Intel 945GM graphics chipset. I would like to attach an external LCD monitor via the VGA port and run it at its native 1920 x 1080 resolution, but I am having no success. The short version of the story: I started out with the 6.14.10.4860 version of the Intel driver. If I unchecked "show only modes the monitor supports" it let me select 1920 x 1080 but the display was jittery. (All other modes were okay in that regard but had the usual problems of an LCD not at native resolution.) I downloaded and installed the 6.14.10.4926 version of the driver. Now it will not even let me select 1920 x 1080, even though the Intel "Information" diagnostics.txt shows it as a supported mode of the monitor. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance,Charles

Help! (Thank you!)

We are adding three pages for user-submissions on our site (for Quotes, Advice and Stories). We?re boilerplate-ing the build to minimize problems, and then customizing content.

The Submission page is the page used/seen by clients (friends, family, visitors) and has a box for entering text with ?Submit? and ?Clear? buttons.

Upon ?Submit?, the Submission page dumps the client-entered data onto a Log page ? in reverse chronology ? and then recaptures the Log page as form inserted onto the Submission page ? further down.

Sounds pretty straight forward.

Well, it almost works.

The Submission page is dumping the data onto the Log page, in reverse chronology ? no problem.

The Submission page then seems to be inserting the Log page as a form ? but the new data is never turning up (although the first two entries are showing up?).

AGRAHHH.

I will link both the Submission and Log pages below, but the HTML for creating/updating the Log file is:

<!--webbot bot="SaveResults" u-file="Dance Quotes - Submissions.htm" s-format="HTML/DL" s-label-fields="TRUE" s-builtin-fields="Date Time" startspan B-Reverse-Chronology="TRUE" U-File="DanceQuotesLog.htm" S-Format="HTML/BR" S-Label-Fields="TRUE" B-Reverse-Chronology="TRUE" S-Email-Format="TEXT/PRE" S-Email-Address="[email protected]" B-Email-Label-Fie... MORE INFO - NEW LINKS:

Tangent: I've integrated an anti-spam security feature (online at http://www.mingamong.com/guest_book.htm; parent pages at http://www.wet-inc.co.uk). Mike George recommended, and customized the password - it works GREAT. Not random, but you can customize it.

NOTE: have created an alternate page for the "work in progress" at: http://www.2nilssons.com/Dance/DanceQuotes-Submit.htm

This has the new security feature integrated. On my server at home, the form/Log system works great - it pulls the Log form up and displays it on the Submit page; no problem. Online - nada: it just doesn't pull the form up.

This page was based on the FrontPage Guestbook (I used it as a template): I can't get the unadulterated FP Guestbook to work properly online - although it works fine on my server. Both server and online generate the Log file properly, but it only pulls back onto the Guestbook or my Submit page on my server. IE: If I use the template straight-up, the log document doesn't pull onto the page properly... The paradox: I lifted the HTML from those commands to pull the Standard Disclaimer onto our Home Page (previously part of the Home Page - I broke it onto a separate page because the Home Page was getting too cumbersome). The only difference I can determine between the two is that our Home Page and Standard Disclaimer don't involve an... Read more

Okay, so I'm using Windows 7 64-Bit. It's flawless, and a bit of a show off, seeming as it already had all of the necessary drivers for all my PC components pre-installed. :P

One issue is the network card. I had a Netgear WPN311 card before, which I couldn't find the right drivers for, so I decided to put my old Belkin F5D7000 into the PCI port.

So.. basically.. I don't have any way of getting online, because I am literally unable to find drivers that suit Windows 7 64-Bit, and at the same time work on this Belkin card.

So this is the one thing I'm confused with.. The PC seems to pick it up as a 'Multimedia' device under device manager. I am completely at a loss what to do with it, and it's becoming very frustrating. If anyone can help me out, tell me what drivers to use for this or the Netgear one if that so happens to be necessary, I would be very, very grateful.

Can you use an ethernet cable just to get the drivers?

Hello everyone, I am desperately trying to find out the best way of adding a third display to my current setup. My current setup is as follows: - Lenovo X220 - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50GHz - Ubuntu Linux Trusty LTS 14.04 - Using built-in display (1366x768) - Using external display connected via passive DisplayPort to DVI adapter (1680x1050) Now I would like to add a third display that is the same model as the display already connected via DisplayPort. The article http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/X-Series-ThinkPad-Laptops/How-to-attach-more-than-two-external-monitors-... lists options for connecting further displays to the X220. My conclusions so far are as follows:I do not have USB 3.0 and as such can not use the USB 3.0 dock. Furthermore the USB 3.0 dock seems to use a DisplayLink chip that is not properly supported on Linux. I do not want to use an eGPU as this seems rather expensive and overkill. I would prefer not to use a USB-to-DVI Adapter because these seem to have rather bad Linux support and possibly suboptimal performance on USB 2.0. Option 2 (using an Lenovo DisplayPort to Dual DisplayPort Adapter)  sounds like the best idea so far. According to http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/A-M-and-Edge-Series-ThinkCentre/M92p-DisplayPort-to-dual-Displayport-ada... this seems to imply that I have to obtain active DisplayPort to DVI adapters as passive ones will not work. http://www.lenovo.com/shop/amer... Answer:Confusion about X220 supporting three displays

I use the Lenovo displayport splitter with mine X220. If your monitors only have dvi input then get the star tech displayport to dual dvi splitter. It will be cheaper and works the same.
