Preferred Solution: can not load skype with this error failed to load library 'd

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer:Failed to load library 'oleaut32.dll

Try going back to a good restore point.Try System Restore, I have had good results using this way or in Safe Mode, different to Last Known Good Configuration in Safe Mode. Restore is accessed the following way:1. It's a good practice to shut down all other applications before using System Restore, as it requires a full-system reboot to complete the installation. Connecting to the internet is not required, however. So shut all applications. Then click "Start."2. Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Then the program will load. Or,If System Restore doesn't work in Normal Mode, it might work in Safe Mode.Toggle F8 or Press Ctrl ( depends on your comp ) during bootup ( just before, verifying DMI pool, message comes on )Select Safe Mode. to start the System Restore tool at a command prompt in Windows XP of elimination.fatal error failed to load library oleaut32.dll

I was re-organizing my HD lately and uninstalled some unused programs. I used Revo- Uninstaller for uninstalling. Everything is fine until today , (I even played some games after that re-organizing) there's this pop up after I started my laptop this morning. As usual I powered it up and it booted and just the moment before my ESET banner appears on startup there's this pop up reading
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\ata plugin\ATA
Unable to register the DLL/OCX: Load Library Failed;Code 126. The specific module could not be found "
I restarted the system but didn't find it again. Do I need to bother about it? Help me asap please.

Answer:Load Library FAILED; Code 126

If you have any restore points you may be able to get the file back using ShadowExplorer freeware. I'm assuming you don't want to run the restore point and undo everything. ShadowExplorer is a lot like running and undeleter. Find the file in the restore point and just extract it. Copy it back to its original location.

If it still gives the error try opening an Admin Command Prompt in that folder and typing
regsvr32 "ATA" If there is a space in the filename you need to put the double quotes or regsvr32 with try to register using the filename cut off at the first space character.

For the 1st time I'm seeing frequent BSODs.This looks like a RAM problem but multiple passes through MemTest86+, v.1.70 shows NO errors. Most often, an
app like HandBrake, DVDstyler, or VOB2MPG was running at the time, but
nothing else. These are RAM and CPU intensive apps but well within my
specs. No games or video-intensive apps running. Page file little used, CPU usage seems OK, both cores in use.

Finally, on one of our computers we decided to remove all of Norton to go with another anti-virus; unfortunately, on rebooting we could not. During a repair-install of XP to keep all of our programs using the XP install CD an error came up. As a result of this apparent error we cannot "install" SP2 from CD, nor install any downloaded SP1 updates from Microsoft. We've tried everything we can think of.

Question: load library error

I have been getting a load library error when XP loads my desktop.  It started a couple of days ago while my girlfriend was surfing the internet I guess.  The desktop loads and then I get the pop-up window saying that the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\wdejojyl.dll module cannot be found.  Then the desktop icons flash on and off or it just freezes up.  I am running XP Pro  Home Edition with no restore disks.  I have XP Pro Student Edition on disc as well as Grub and a couple of Linux distro's.  Also my only way to connect my computer to the internet is by using my phone as a modem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:load library error

I am having intermittent problems booting due to a "NTDETECT failed to load" error. Sometimes the machine boots and sometimes it doesn't. I did a search for "" and found several copies including one in the above directory. Can I delete this? . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of things I should clarify and add:

The computer eventually boots after several attempts.

Once it has booted, it will reboot repeatedly, until it has been shut down for several hours, then it gives the NTDETECT error again.

My XP installation in configured to that I get the Recovery Console as a startup option. When I tried to boot to the Recovery Console, I got the same error.

I found one registry key that points to the folder mentioned:

The value "AutoRecoverMOFs has several files listed including:
c:\winnt\softwaredistribution\download\6ca7b3a8efd 5a9b6f87fff395a2eb989\licwmi.mof

I have a Hijack This log, but the guys in the security forum say it does not seem to be a virus or spyware.

Answer:NTDETECT Failed to Load error

im not a genius or an expert.....but this sounds like a virus or a corrupted system file......that NTdetect should not be in that folder...thats why i think its a virus......why not format and re-install OS. that always is a bottom line fixer. thats what i would do to save time, but thats the network admin in me :p

In Windows 8.1 whenever I start Windows Explorer, or right-click on a file, a dialog box opens that says "Failed to load resource DLL." Then everything works normally. It is annoying.

In my searches I found that this may be caused by WS-FTP, which I do have loaded.

Does anyone here know how to get rid of this?

I am in the process of moving files from my old computer to an external hard drive to put on my new computer. I put a bunch of folders with pictures in them into just one folder. I moved this folder to the desktop. (I wasn't thinking-I should have just copied the folder from 'My Pictures' to my external hard drive). I also moved a folder of mine containing word documents. Now I am unable to view the pictures (Error "Failed to load photo" comes up) and I can no longer view my word documents anymore. Any suggestions?

Did you check the default programs for opening these files?

What's the Word error message?

In any case...move the folder from the desktop...then run chkdsk /r command on the partition to which you move the folder.

I noticed that skype has send to all skype contacts a certain link, to one contact even multiply links.
this all happens on the same day: 17th december from 14:30 -14:39.
I haven't seen any spam send anymore after that.
Skype support told me to reset my password, I did, and to download safety scanner from microsoft. they proviced me with the link.
when I try to open the link, the browser cannot load the page, it is stuck in a loop:  sometimes I see a page, but just for a second or even less, then mostly white page, and browser keeps trying to load the page. and in chrome : a  little shield symbol on the right side of the address bar says that it's trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources. this message dissappears very quickly.
I have skype installed on two laptops, and on my smartphone (iphone).
The problem I told about, is on one laptop that has no antivirus. I did not yet checked the other laptop, if the microsoft page opens or not. but I do have bitdefender internet security (paid) installed on the second laptop.
I want to be sure the laptop that has the problem, is virusfree.

Answer:spam send in skype account to all skype contacts - cannot load page safety scan

I downloaded the safety scanner from microsoft from my other laptop without any issue.
copied it to a usb, put it on the problem laptop, a full scan and nothing found.
I realize I did had a antivirus paid version (kaspersky internet securuity) on the laptop, as I first said that it had no antivirus.
I only disabled it because it had problems running.
Now I enabled it, updated it and run a full scan. nothing found.
I don't know if skype is the cause and not a virus?  the skype workers told me that the cause could be anything (email, virus on computer).
I mostly use skype on iphone, and here I'm confused with what the skype workers said: one said that iphone can not be infected, so no need to check the iphone.
an other said: you can download an app from app store to scan for viruses, because it is possible that the virus is on the iphone.
This is really not clear anymore.

New user here.  I'm a self-taught webmaster (, &others) for almost twenty years now.
I think this problem is unique to AOL's browser inside their Desktop.
I have a form on my web site that loads another page in the same folder upon clicking the submit button.  This file is part of the "<form action=" parameter.  One of my users is getting this error when he keys submit:
Load Failed
Load of URL****.php failed with error code -101.
I hid the name of the file because I don't think it's relevant to the problem.  But will show it if needed.  I have searched for this verbiage and error number of days with no success.  Try as I may, I have been unable to duplicate the problem, even when I use the form inside AOL's desktop!
Does anyone here know what could be the cause for this error?

A few days ago, my Outlook Express started sending me error messages that read, "Address Book failed to load. Outlook Express is incorrectly configured, please re-install."

So I did some research, and came across three possibilities as to how to fix this problem.

#1. From Microsoft Support (who couldn't possibly have made this any more difficult and confusing, talking about a security update that has to be uninstalled which I never installed in the first place but must be an automatic update, yes?? Yikes, scary stuff for a barely computer literate old gal!), and,
#2. Fred Langa's letter, from InformationWeek, about rebuilding/refreshing/reinstalling XP, and
#3. From the Help and Support resource on Windows XP Home Edition in the Start menu.

And here's where it gets confusing for me.

#1. Microsoft Support talks about uninstalling software updates, something about "patches" which sounds dangerous to me because who knows what else can be uninstalled along with those patches ... plus, I can't find the wab file in the C drive where they say it's supposed to be located ...

#2. The Help and Support resource in my Start menu, which is a completely different set of instructions altogether than #1 and #3 and seems quite straightforward, not mentioning anything about uninstalling software updates, but simply offering instructions on the procedure to rename and replace the wab32.dll file.

So which is the right way to do this? It seems th... Read more

"Acrobat failed to load it's core DLL" error.

I have looked on thier website, but I could not find help there.

Any ideas ?

Answer:Solved: Adobe Reader 8 failed to load it's core DLL ERROR

I solved this my self by doing a little more research on Adobe's forums.

Link :

It turns out it was a conflict with CA antivirus and Adobe. It matters what order they are installed .
To fix I unistalled CA anti-virus> rebooted> Uninstalled Adobe Reader>downloaded Reader 8.0>installed Reader.

Now no more error messages.
Plus my system seems a little faster.

I am considering NOT installing CA Anti-virus back on my system.
Maybe I'll try AVG Free Anti-virus for a while.

did you already recovered the system (installed it completely new from scratch)? If not already did, then do it and watch if the same error appears again.
Maybe it?s just an software problem and could be resolved by re-installing the operating system.

Helping a friend with their Windows 7 system.. they DON'T Remember what they were installing or uninstalling.. or if they had a power outtage during a microsoft update?.. they can't remember..
That said.. when their system powers up now.. they get 2 very small pop-up boxes in the centre of the screen - the first one announces that a .DLL Failed to load only 2 options are the RED "X" or the [OK] button. Our users have IE 7 and 8. We keep them locked into place by pointing IE to our firewall product (tools > internet options > connections > lan settings), so that only approved sites are the ones that our people can access. In the last few days, several of them report issues with specific websites loading very slowly - load times of over an hour just to get the log-in screen to appear.Troubleshooting Steps:1.) Unchecked the "use proxy server for your LAN" under the IE menus---> Site resolves instantly, as it should---> This pointed me to the direction that perhaps the site wasn't configured for our firewall2.) Re-checked the "use proxy server" box, and specifically configured the site in our firewall---> Site continues to resolve slowly, with the same load times as before performing step 1That would normally indicate that the problem is on the vendor's end. Something may be wrong with their site. And that's the line of thought I was pursuing until I was reported back to that the users are having the same problem on other websites. These new websites they're having problems with are, and have been for a long time, configured properly in the firewall.I'm not sure what my next step is to pursue. What am I looking for now? I don't know enough about networking to figure out where to track next.

Answer:Users are unable to load websites - no error, just 1-hour+ load times for pages

Did you try re-installing Avira? Completely remove Avira from your computer. Restart the computer once. Install Avira from its setup. If you have tried the above, then Uninstall Avira. Download and run/install the free version of Revo Uninstaller to remove all left overs of Avira anywhere in your windows setup. Restart the computer. Download the latest setup of Avira and install.

I have a NB100 And when it trys to boot i get Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: System32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys

I have connected a DVD drive with the product recovery disc GMR400882EN0 inside it and powered on, on booting i keep F12 pressed and I get the options for setting it to boot from HD FDD CD/DVD USB Memory, I set it to boot from CD/DVD

When it loads it gets to loading RAM image I get Error 32768 File PEBASE ISO Could Not Load.

I am suspecting faulty recovery disc? and a new one is £29.99? But the laptop is under warranty but they told me to do this.

My daughter has a Asus 904HD and once she had a problem... She had none of the poor support of go and do it yourself... Asus sent a courier very fast-confirmed pick by text-fixed-delivered back confirmed drop off by text within 5 days!!

Answer:NB100 Recovery Disc wont load - Error 32768 File PEBASE could not load

>I am suspecting faulty recovery disc? and a new one is £29.99? But the laptop is under warranty but they told me to do this.

I doubt it?s a faulty recovery disk.
The error message: missing or corrupt: System32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys could be caused by faulty HDD or another hardware component.
In your case I recommend contacting the Toshiba ASP for hardware check and new OS installation. The notebook is under warranty (as you suggested in the posting above) and therefore everything should be done for free because it?s covered by warranty

I have noticed a strange error in Event Viewer relating to printing.

Every time I print a document two identical errors are produced in the Event Viewer as below:-

The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\E_IUICHQE.DLL, error code 0xc1. See the event user data for context information.

The printer works fine - its not slow to start and all seems OK.

The printer is an Epson Stylus Photo PX730WD. It is connected wirelessly to a Belkin router. The computer has a wired connection to the router.

The printer works fine with networked laptops & even a wireless Samsung galaxy NOTE Tablet.

The above mentioned DLL file exists in the stated directory. It is an Application Extension For Epson Colour Printing System.

As everything seems to be working OK, is there any way I can stop these errors from appearing ?

Answer:The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module - Error Code 0xc1

Hi ... You could try Uninstalling the Software for the Printer ...

And then Re-Install ... Though if i was having this issue as every thing seems to working ...
I would just Ignore the error ...

ok this is gonna be a bit long but i want the details there. the issue pc is my old pc. it has windows 7 its an asus msn-la motherboard i cloned this drive and used it in my new pc. after a few months my new pc's drive died and i took the old drive from the issue pc(witch was not giving issues at this time) and stuck it into my new pc until my replacement drive came. when i got the replacement drive i cloned the drive again onto the replacement drive and then put the new drive in the new pc had no issues there. put the old drive back into the issue pc (this is when issues started) the pc booted up to the windows desktop loading screen fast but once it got there it sat there for like 5 min before loading into windows. once it loaded into windows it was un usable for around 10 min while it loaded background stuff. once it finally loads into windows if i try to open anything its still responding extremely slow. is there anything i could do to fix this or is this going to me a re install only situation? i did try to use a windows 7 disk to do a startup repair but it claimed i couldn't do it because i dident install from that disk.

Code 0x6D9". I'm thinking that error in settings is why the firwall won't turn on. How can I get to the settings and check them?

You're welcome, CardGunner. See if this update is listed in Installed Updates

I suspect that is the update that may have restored the firewall.

Question: Load Library?

I have been trying to install coupon printer and i get this error message after I try to install:

Failed to register COM (Active x) control: C:\Windows\CouponPrinter.ocx
Failure in LoadLibrary ( ) (126)

What is that? lol

Answer:Load Library?

CouponBar and Coupon Printer from Coupons, Inc is an adware program that monitors ads/usage on your PC, this is considered malware and most likely being blocked by a security program on your PC. From what I gather the reason they claim to install this program is to limit the number of coupons you print, not likely IMO.

If you really want them collecting info and delivering ads to you then you would have to give it permission.

After finally acquiring a webcam & getting Yahoos' Instant Messenger downloaded, I attempt to seek out other life forms in the vain hope of getting to use my new equipment. Alas, after three weeks, I'm still plugging away like the mad 'one fingered wonder' that I am when, Lo & Behold, I arrive home from work one night to discern that Messenger will not open any longer. Well, "No problem" says I, to no one in particular, as I remove the entire program & commence to download it again (for fear that the original had been corrupted). However, when I attempt to open the file for IM after having saved it to disk, it displays a warning which plainly reads : could not load the DLL library. the specified module could not be found.
So my question is; Would someone please enlighten me to what I have done to cause this so that I can take (pro)active measures to prevent this (or something just like it) from occurring again? Much Thanx from the lone fellow in aisle two with the egg on his face

Answer:Could not load the DLL library?

Are you still having this problem? If so, when you uninstall it, delete the folder for it under C;\Program Files in Windows Explorer.

Then, restart and try the download again.

If still no joy, Lets take a look at a log. go to , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show other issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

Also, did you download the Beta version, or the previous version:

Hi.. Ok, starting just a few hours ago, my computers been acting really weird. It started out as whenever I would open My Documents I would get a message saying "Can't load library from memory", and I'd click ok and then it would open normally. But the problem started getting worse and worse.. Now whenever I click on basically any application it comes up with this message, and I have to click ok 5 times before it disapears. It also comes up randomly when I'm on the internet. I googled the problem and a bunch of people fixed this problem by deleting C:\WINDOWS\system32\ipv6mons.dll (found it on some site: I tried that but nothing happened, and the file just recreated itself. And now whenever I go to the recycling bin to try and restore or delete it permanently, it freezes! Ahh. Someone please help! Should I post a HijackThis log?

I'm using Corel Video-studio pro x2 to create slideshow of my still pictures, 8-9 MB each, . The total number was about 100 slides. After adding music and transitions ,I then render it to create a movie DVD file. But it keep saying 'unable to load library'. i tried to reduce the number of slides to 30-40 slides even without any background music and it still end up the same. I reinstalled the programt a few times and still get the same message. I then changed my virtual memory as recommended in the support section of Corel Web . Again doesn't help. I have 3.25 GB RAM , with plenty of space(40GB) in my drive C: As a last trial I then changed the size of virtual memory to 15000 MB but without any success. I still cannot make a DVD movie out of my slideshow.
Any suggestion ? , Please.

Are you using any transition effects? Try removing them one at a time and see if this is the issue?

Question: Library Load Fail

Just reinstalling windows 7 Home 64 bit edition to a recovered blank HDrive, whilst attempting to install the Gigabyte motherboard drivers from the CD an error  "Library Load Fail" appears with no ref number,
Is anyone able to enlighten me how I can correct this problem?
any help or suggestions will be most appreciated

Answer:Library Load Fail

Are you able to boot this computer?
When this error occurs there is suppose to be a file name included in the message.  Example "Loadlibrary (file name.dll) failed".
Microsoft lists nineteen files which could be involved.
Did you install Windows from a Microsoft installation disc?

Answer:failure to load d3d9.dll library

d3d9.dll is a DirectX9 error, firstly you need to have Service Pack 4, secondly install DirectX 9c: should also go to Microsoft Updates and undertake Critical and non-Critical Updates.

When attempting to scan photos I am getting the message "Library Load Failure Err=31 1f." When I click "okay" I get the message that the program has performed an illegal operation and it boots me out to the desktop. I had some pics stored on a second internal drive that recently crashed and the old pics were still in the library. Thinking this may be the problem I uninstalled Photosuite and reinstalled. The thumbnails are gone from the library but still getting the error message when I try to scan or download digital pics from camera. Any ideas?

I have a Dell laptop windows 7 and since last night it says I am connected to linksys but I can't get onto skype and any webpages won't load either on IE, GC, and FF. I checked under LAN settings and made sure none of those boxes were checked. Our other laptop is connecting although it seemed slower than usual, it was still loading the webpages, this laptop won't load anything. Windows firewall is on but it is managed by McAfee. I'm not super computer savvy and I really have no idea what the problem is. I ran AVG as well and no threats were found and I'm currently running malewarebytes.

Hello Fine People,
Can't load skype as mentioned, I, a) took skype out of registry; b) used Phantom's statement about using app data text entry, c) tried administrator 'loading' mode, d) anywhere I could find the mention of skype and removed it from my machine using files remover, e) looked for the program list, etc. [Don't mean to bore you all]

can anyone help here? My XP machine skype just fine, etc. / windows 7 - 64 bit - different story.

Answer:Another Skype - Can't Load Post

What does "can't load" mean? Do you get an error? Or nothing happens when you click on it?

Manually deleting files and registry settings is incredibly risky. At this point, Skype might not even reinstall properly.

Hi Everyone.

I'm testing out Windows 8 in a VM. I have it registered and all that. I even installed a couple free apps to play around with them a bit. But I can't get skype to actually finish loading. Is it because it's in a VM or what? Has anyone else experienced this issue. If so what's the work around? I'd like to test it out on my VM before I think about installing it on the Main Machine. No worries. I have 2 copies of 8. A 32-bit and a 64-bit version. I"m using the 32-bit version in my VM so I can use the 64-bit version for the main machine at some point. Any help is appreciated.

Answer:[SOLVED] Skype won't load

Hello sfglds,

Your problem could be because you are in VM... I run Skype on Windows 8 without any issues...

Make sure you download and install the latest version of Skype.

Hi all,

Once again - thank you for all the time and help you all put in! You all are amazing!

I have a laptop and a windows XP pro cd. my laptop hard drive had crashed so I got a new drive and installed windows. But I had gotten an error message during install. The install still completed and tada- I was up and running. Except.. I could not get internet working for the life of me.. and a few other random issues that may or may not have been driver problems.

I thought, okay, I'll just re-install Windows again and maybe it will all work out.

Sadly, the same error message popped up again during install. The install is still continuing, but the error message is sitting on the screen (I have not yet pressed OK)

[Windows cannot load the Internet Configuration library (ICFGNT.DLL) The following error occured: The specified module could not be found.]

I tried to google this issue. Google is always my friend.. except when it comes to solving computer problems. Thank goodness for this great forum and you awesome members!

Please (politely) talk to me like I'm a three year old and help me understand what I need to do next. I don't want to leave room for misunderstanding

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A File is attached with a photo of the issue

My computer randomly started displaying this error upon start up a week ago and I have no clue what is causing it. I googled it and seen that it could be caused by a linksys wireless router, one was installed on the system before, but has been uninstalled for quite some time now. Can anyone help me correct this or at least help me figure out what is causing it?

Answer:Load dll error - Can't load res_dll

Have you checked in your Startup items to see if it's listed there? It can probably be easily disabled.
Have you ever used msconfig?

I am currently using windows 7 ultimate x64. I was in the middle of a process restoring my computer to a few days back and suddenly it froze. i did a power shut down and when i turned it back on, i wasn't able to get back into windows. i was brought to startup repair and it gave me errors. 'Boot manager failed to find OS loader." there was options for restoring, but all my restore points were gone. recovery wasn't able to find image backup. "startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically" so i did some research before i came here. i was told to go into safe mode to restore, but whenever i enter safe mode, startup repair would take over and shows the same errors, also i read a tutorial using a repair disc ( made a copy of it on someone elses ultimate x64 computer) and i get the 0x00000e9 error if i boot from disc. what can i do? as of now i dont have the installation disc with me. i wont be able to get hold of it until tomorrow. theres a lot of important files in that hard drive and i really cant lose any. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Answer:Failed to Find OS Load. Startup Repair FAILED

If you can't use a system repair disk, then you could simply reinstall Windows on the same hard drive. You don't need to format the hard drive during installation, just select your main hard drive and install, that way you can preserve your files. The files will be in "Windows.Old" after installation in your "Local Disk".

Also, make sure your repair CD is 64-bit, like your system. Try to access your BIOS, by pressing the "Delete" key; it's different for various mktherboards, and select your CD-ROM to be first to boot. Might help, I'm not sure. If it helps, we'll start from there.

You'll want to select "Command Prompt" from the repair disk, we'll need it.

Hi after giving my Laptop a clean install the only problem I have is with Skype.
Tried several times it down loads but wont open correctly.
I have tried the latest version and 5.5 but still wont open correctly.
each time I delete skype I use Revo uninstaller.
clicking on the icon or in programs all I get is a blue screen with a cloud it has, Skype Tools and Help.
In help I can log into my account but the Icon in the tray says not logged on.
In Tools the box is ticked for Ports 80 and 443.
I have switched the fire wall off and it makes no difference.
Tried down loading with IE and FF
Its worked OK for the past three years and its working on my desktop now so no problems with Skyp in its self
OS Vista

Answer:Vista Skype wont load

The latest version is - try downloading from different sites - it may be the download that is at fault.

failed to load locale files from "Program Files\Western Digital\WD Smartware\Locale"

The menu box it's under is entitled " WDContextMenuHandler "

I get this error when I just right click on any part of "my computer" everytime.

the pc then goes blank on desktop while it says " windows explorer shutting down " and then pc comes back. I tried to uninstall WD smartware but it won't allow me to. When I installed it the first time, all the menus were not available, so I uninstalled it, so I thought, and reinstalled it. Now there are 2 WD Smartwares shown in my programs and I can only get rid of the newest one. I also tried a system restore, but the date before the first install is not available.

any help.

Answer:error-failed to load locale files from "Program Files\Western Digital\

Use Fix problems with programs that can't be installed or uninstalled and see if you can uninstall it cleanly. If you are unable to uninstall the phantom version still lurking, you may have to re-install and then use the Fix It to uninstall properly.

How do I remove a product that cannot be uninstalled in the "Add or Remove Programs" list. may also be good reading.

Win 7-64 on Gateway FX6860 i7 system 8gm ram tons of HD space.
Got "Page Failed to Load" error attempting to change my Win7-64bit display resolution.
This used to work, but no more ( don't know what might have caused it)

I ran "sfc /scannow". SFC reported that there were corrupted files that could not be repaired or replaced and to look at CBS.log. I did but can make no sense out of it.

Please find that file attached -- Any help will be appreciated.....

thank you,

Answer:"Page Failed to Load" error attempting to change my Win7-64bit display

Run the system file check again. Sometimes it requires multiple runs. Reboot after each run (or before the first run if you have not rebooted since the last time you ran the check).Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker up to three times to fix all errors with a restart in between each. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations. Use OPTION THREE of SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker to provide us with the sfcdetails.txt file if errors occur.

Hi bftdsh.

A stray crash dump is not enough. Click on the button below ....

It will download the DM log collector. Right click on the application and run as administrator. It will generate a .zip file on your desktop. Upload the .zip.
