Preferred Solution: ip main page did not load, but load moderm pag

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: ip main page did not load, but load moderm pag

Sounds like your Modem is on that IP address and your Router is on another. I thought LinkSys routers used out of the box and most DSL modems used and Cable modems used Which address are you using? What kind of Modem do you have (Model Number and if it is DSL or Cable)?

ok, hi, im new, and not really good with computers. Just recently, like today, when i turned on my computer, the very first screen, the hp invent screen, appeared like normal. It has the esc=bootmenu and the F1 Setup options as well as F10 System Recovery. AFter that screen, it becomes black, with a little typing ticker in the upper right corner. The windows xp starting thing doesnt even show up. The only way i can get to windows is if i use bootmenu, and sometimes that doesnt even work. System Recovery doesn't work at all. Does anyone know what is wrong? Is it a virus?

Answer:Main page will not load, goes directly from Intel Screen to black

Greetings gurus. Internet trouble. As the title says, my mail will not load in any browser. Page load is very slow and most things time out at least once. AT&T ran line tests on DSL and everything was clean. Not sure how this could be. Speedtest was run many times and no probs. I even did some gaming which strains everything with no problems. I'm open to the possibility of a virus. Ran Avira and MBAM but haven't gone further. Strangely the wife's Facebook games are a no-go. Also, wireless devices work fine. Heeeeelp!

I have a very simple web page that automatically updates daily. However, very often when I view it I just get the version that is in my browser cache rather than the latest version from the web. I have to do a manual refresh from the browser to see the latest version. Not a problem for me, but other viewers of the page may not realize they aren't seeing the latest information.

Is there an HTML tag or some such that can be included in the page that will force a refresh and override any old version that the viewer may still have in their browser cache?

Answer:Solved: Force load of web page vs. load from cache?

ok this is gonna be a bit long but i want the details there. the issue pc is my old pc. it has windows 7 its an asus msn-la motherboard i cloned this drive and used it in my new pc. after a few months my new pc's drive died and i took the old drive from the issue pc(witch was not giving issues at this time) and stuck it into my new pc until my replacement drive came. when i got the replacement drive i cloned the drive again onto the replacement drive and then put the new drive in the new pc had no issues there. put the old drive back into the issue pc (this is when issues started) the pc booted up to the windows desktop loading screen fast but once it got there it sat there for like 5 min before loading into windows. once it loaded into windows it was un usable for around 10 min while it loaded background stuff. once it finally loads into windows if i try to open anything its still responding extremely slow. is there anything i could do to fix this or is this going to me a re install only situation? i did try to use a windows 7 disk to do a startup repair but it claimed i couldn't do it because i dident install from that disk.

I run into this problem occasionally and I have been watching these forums and others for a solution to this problem; but, I haven't seen one to date that is a sure-fire working solution.

We replaced the main board in a Dell system and now we are getting the usual XP Setup abortion message that this copy of XP is intended only for a Dell system.

Has anyone found a work-around for this problem?

I wonder if anyone can help?I have designed a web site:click hereThat I am content with (although I would welcome general comments about the site!)The problem I am having is this. The domain is hosted on one server and has a DNS redirect to another server where the website code is located. All works fine when working normally from the start page as above. Where it goes wrong is if someone chooses a subpage directly (as for example coming from google) such as:click hereWhat was happening was that the page was loading without the frame being around it - so you would not know what the web site was (or why you had been directed there).A friend has supplied some code which should work but for some reason it does load the main frame but ends up on the home page every time. Obviously this is better for me but not much use to the enquirer! Try the link above to see what I mean.I am using a main page with an inline frame that starts off with the page introtext.html Hope someone can point me in the right direction!

Answer:website needs code to load main frame please

move the domain name? Have it hosted with the site, it's a simple thing to arrange.

I loaded windows onto my PC without assuring the 1TB Hard Drive was properly plugged in so it loaded instead to something else that only has 16G so now that I have found the issue with my hard drive I plugged it in and my PC recognizes it but it will not
transfer windows to it and I cannot rename my hard drive from A to C drive thinking that would fix the issue. I have attempted to change the values, etc but it will not allow me too. Ive even tried to put windows 7 disk back in and reload, uninstall and nothing.

Running windows 7 home premium 64bit, my administrator account is completely unusable. Following login, I occasionally have time to open one program or window before all programs stop responding, and new ones fail to open. No error codes are given. Trying to shut down normally clears everything except my background, and then proceeds no further. My mouse is free to move, but shutdown can only be performed by holding the power button down.
Fixes I have tried:
1. System restore: no change
2. sfc /scannow: Cannot perform as administrator, doesn't make it past verification stage.
3. msconfig: The startup services, not startup programs, are the source of my issue. The problem seems to be related to startup services related to network and internet access. I could not narrow it down to one file, it may be multiple files causing the problem.

Note: My guest account works fine, as I am typing this message from that account. I am not sure what other options I have as far as my original account goes. Are there any fixes for malfunctioning startup services? Thank you in advance for any help you can give, I am at a loss.

Answer:No programs load on main account, system must be shut down manually

Firstly I would suggest you to do a clean boot and see if it helps: Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

Then do a malware scan: Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download

If nothing works, then perform a repair install: Repair Install

A repair install should fix the services.

After giving this big step of moving from a XP machine to a Windows 8 one and after working for ours to customize 8 to look like XP, I still couldn't fix two issues with the Lenovo U330 Touch that I got. 1) Using the touchpad was causing a load on CPU of at least 10%. Googled it for a while, try different sets of drivers... nothing. So I decided to just make a fresh install of Windows 8, discarding the Lenovo installation. It fixed it, although touchpad just works as a generic. Annoying but not determinant. However considering I paid for the computer with a working Windows 8, I think I am entitled to a proper touchpad and so, with no issues. 2) Now, whenever: a) I touch the screen b) Computer goes to sleep and awakes, the pointer of the mouse disappears. I have it back by Ctrl + Alt Delete followed by an Escape. Again, it works but it's not functional and I paid for a computer which is suppose to work smoothly. Note: I think this was not happening before the fresh instalation. I saw some hints around and therefore did two things: turned off bluetooth and installed the card reader drivers. To no avail.I know there are other topics in these foruns and in other websites reporting these or very similar issues. However I can't understand how come the thousands and thousands of buyers of this model never came out with a clear report of the CPU high usage with the touchpad... anyway... any suggestions for a fix of 1) and 2) ? Hello, when I sign on to my computer, then click my user, it won't load. There is just a black screen with the cursor. I've tried using ctrl+shift+escape and typing explorer.exe, but the task manager immediately has an error and closes. I think the problem with this is that all the files with an .exe close within a few seconds after opening.
I CAN use the computer with the administrative user. I can access my files and transfer them over to my admin account. The problem with this is that all my preferences and settings (particularly my firefox bookmarks and settings) are gone.
Does anyone have an idea on how I might fix this?

Answer:Main user account won't load. Just a black screen. All programs close.

Try a system restore to a date just before the problem started.

Hi there.
I recently had a trojan dnschanger on my laptop. I tried using malwarebytes program to remove it several times and then gave up and sent it in to get repaired at a shop in town. They told me there was no infection and sent it back to me. I reran the test and sure enough it was gone. but...

What had originally made me try using malwarebytes to scan ( avg, spybot s&d, and adaware did not find anything) was that my browser was acting strange. When I do a Google search and click on one of the results, it will load a blank page saying 'done' in the bottom corner, then after 5 seconds or so it will then load the page i wanted.

For instance, I click on "hxxp://" search result and it puts this:

into the top bar and sits on the blank,'done' page for 5 or 10 secs then goes to the "hxxp://" page after.

It is driving me crazy. This is doing it in firefox 3.5.7 and also in ie 8.0.7600.16385 - (i rarely use ie)

Answer:can't load web page

This issue may occur because of some "add ons" are any application which are running in background. However good news is that we can still resolve this issue. Please try doing the following steps which may help you1. Cloose all applications 2. Close / disable startup applications (such as skype, messenger, or any background application) 3. Start/Settings/Control Panel/Internet Options/Delete Browsing History/Delete All (in passwords) 4. Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons (check) and click ok 5. Close all windows, and files, (just in case) nothing has to be open 6. Go to Start/run 7. Type in the open: %temp% 8. Press enter 9. Start deleting the temp files 10. You might not be able to delete some of the files, because ther are in use. Leave them alone. 11. When you get the error: Error Deleting file or folder click ok and continue deleting some of the files by type 12. When you are done. Reboot the computer 13. Now try to open the websites that you were unable to openPlease do reply the result at your convinience.Thank you :)

Question: Can't load page?

Hi guys, i'm having a problem in my firefox (it happens in IE too) that makes me not wiew the page as it should.
As a example: I write a new thread in whatever forum and i'm waiting for it to post it. Then, the whole page become white.
Another example of this is when i play my facebook games (Yes, it's easy to get addicted) and where the game were supposed to be, it's blank.
It doesn't load. I tried in IE too, and the samme happens, just that you see the classic "Internet Explorer cannot View the page".
I only use firefox, if it isn't anything wrong with it.

So, any answers to this? Some settings to be made? Or is it my internet provider?

Question: Won't load a page.

In fact, it won't even recognize that there's material on the page to load. It's very strange. I need to log into a certain website for my housing application for university (it's a ".jsp"), and after I enter the information I just get a pure blank mozilla screen. Very strange. I tried with IE 7 and have the same problem. I tried fiddling around with the security levels on each but that did nothing.

I doubt there truly is nothing on the university website... what do you think the problem is?

Answer:Won't load a page.

Check all your security software, browser addons, firewall settings, etc to see which one is blocking javascripts, java or scripts (the wording might be different depending on the program).

For example, I use the NoScript addon for Firefox. With it enabled, all scripts are blocked so a .jsp site would appear blank. When I disable NoScript, the page loads as normal.

This is getting on my nerves. There's a site ( that I am unable to go to. I can't go to it nor any subsites under it. I am looking at purchasing a PVR here in Oz and for post purchase support I need to access the companies web page

Each time I try to access it I have dramas and it wont fully load. It seems to hang with "25 items remaining - waiting for" or similar in the botton LHS tool bar.

It seems to be all the pictures on the page that wont download.

I'm running Windows XP SP2 and IE7.

I'm only on a 56k dial-up connection, could that be the problem? Could this site just be too much for dial-up to handle? Seems weird when every other site I go to works fine.

Is there some way for some guru to tell me why this site in particular is causing me dramas?

I've contacted their email support and they say they are having no problems with their website. Other users on broadband are having no worries either.

Maybe I have to get broadband for this site?

Running IE 5.01 with WIN98se

Our website has a page which will not load all the way on our computer only:
then click on nav bar or on the image at the bottom of this page to go to 20th Century First Editions.

Or type in ""

What happens is that the listings will load only to a point, then quit. The rest of the page won't come up. I have tried repairing
IE, I have tried deleting all the history, temp files, cookies, etc.
Still no luck.

I've also tried putting up fresh copies of the page. Since others tell me the page is loading okay (the "ZELAZNY, Roger" should be the last entry), it almost certainly is my IE. Yes?

Any suggestions?

I've been working with the hard drive forum after my older Gateway computer crashed, and they've helped me install the drive, re-load the software, add SpyBot, etc. but now I have a problem with IE 6.0, where I can't get to open so I can check my email. I've been able to get other sites to come up, however, when I type in the address and hit go nothing happens (other than the text highlights in blue). I checked under Privacy and cookie handling and was listed. I checked allow (didn't help), and then deleted it (still didn't help). I tried lowering security to low (didn't work). Is there something else I should do? When I went out to the Microsoft web site, I saw that there is a IE 6.0 sp1 available which I haven't downloaded yet, but I'm not sure that it will help, since I can get other web sites to open. Any assistance you can provide will be appreciated!

Answer:IE 6.0 won't load web page

Hi Cktrout5,
I am not a network guru, but I would download IE6 sp1 and see what happens. This should not have any ill effects on the OS and it will not only repair your IE6 (if thats the problem), but will give you better security and performance. I would also download all the Updates at the Microsoft Update site (if you have not done that already). What firewall and anti virus are you using? This may help the network guys out if they knew that.
Let us know how you make out.

I have an (older) internet pen pal with dialup. She runs IE 7 on a Win 7 Home Premium system. (OIK...I'll send her an IE 8 CD)

Meantime, there are certain pages she just can't open - for instance:

Learn where menu and toolbar commands are in Office 2010 and related products - Support - Microsoft Office

She can't tell me any reason - like error messages - only that they won't display. (She's not very tech savvy)

I was assuming that it would not be security setting, being an MS page and all, but I don't know enough about this stuff.

Anyone else know?

Answer:IE 7 won't load page

IE8 comes automatically with Windows 7, unless she bought the OS recently in Europe, where this is forbidden by European Union. Nevertheless, I fail to see why she would use IE7...
If she really uses Win7, and really wants to use IE, point her towards BeautyOfTheWeb so she can download Ie9 RC.

Hi. I have a site that I like to go on. Forgot about it and then wanted to go back. Went back one night 2 weeks ago and was able to get onto the page and log in to access forums and such with no problems. Ever since then, when I go to the website and click on Forums, it takes forever to load and then just comes up with a blank white screen. Just tonight I made a bit of progress...if I waited it out forever, I could get to the log in screen but then when I click to login...same thing....wait forever only to eventually just get a blank white page. My computer loads every other website quickly. Why would I only be having problems with this one site. How can I fix this so I can access this website again??

hi there, i hope someone can help me, i recently purchased a advent 4211 net book for work , as i am a plumber i need to get onto a certain web site called - no problems on my desk top comes up straight away, but not on my 4211 the green status bar fills up to the end and then just stays there 4ever !!! i have set my security to (low) enabled firewall and deleted all my cookies, i am using a 3g pay as u go dongle, someone mentioned i should enable cookies but i cant find this, can anyone help as this is driving me mad.
ps all other web sites load up straight away. many thanks

Answer:cannot get a certain web page to load !!!

If cookies being disabled is the problem, you should be getting a blank page with some very small writing stating this from that website: "Welcome to the Partscenter Web site.
We have detected that cookies are disabled on your browser.
Please enable them and reload the page, or the site will not function correctly".

Anyway, to enable cookies, this is how:

From internet explorer: Tools > Internet Options. Within the Internet Options window: Privacy tab > Select a setting for the internet zone > set privacy level to Medium. Failing that, for test reasons, lower the slider right to the bottom to 'accept all cookies'.

Whether it works or not, please post results on here.

I came across a website that has been giving me a lot of problems. I had to register for the site and I can login and get to the homepage, but I cannot click a single link without it hanging up. I cannot even reload the homepage after this happens. I have found that if I delete the cookies from that site, I can reload the login screen and sign back in, but it acts the same as before. I am using Firefox, and when I try it in IE, the homepage won't even load.

I went to the library at school and loaded the page fine, so it isn't the website. I was even using the U3 Firefox browser on my flash drive in the computer at school when it worked, and that same U3 browser won't work at home.

I am set up on a wireless connection through a Linksys router, and what I have read that may be a source of the problem. I have tried disabling the firewall on the router but that didn't work. This is the only website I have ever had trouble with so I really have no idea what to do.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Answer:Web page won't load...the only one

I did some further investigating and found that if I set my cookie option to "ask me every time" and accept all cookies when I log in except for the PHPSESSID cookie, and keep denying it, the site works fine.

Anyone have any ideas as to why that cookie doesn't sit well with my browser? This cookie is in the parent cookie folder for the site, so is there any way to block only that "sub-cookie"?

However, the tabs, which take me to a new part of the same page, get a spinning wheel and never seem to load. The odd thing is that the very same page works fine on my husband?s computer.

Answer:Web page won't load

Does anything show in the task bar at all? Sometimes they get minimized and you have to right click on it and then click on maximize.

Other than that, my second thought would be viral. If you'd like to check out that aspect, then please do this. Click here: to download Hijack This.

It’s very important that you save it to its own folder on your hard drive, such as program files (not temporary files or the desktop), so that it can create proper back-ups and be able to restore them if necessary.

Close all open windows and open Hijack This. Click “Scan”. When the scan is finished (it only takes a second), the scan button will change to “Save Log”. Click on “Save Log” and then save it to NotePad. Click on “Edit” – “Select all” – “copy” and then “paste” into the thread.

DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET, most items that appear in the log are harmless or even needed.

Great forum!

I'm running XP Home, (but even my old 98SE had the same problem):

I cannot get any ABC web page to load! I don't know if it is a problem with the go domian or if it's my dialup/phone line or what, but every time I try and read a news story or any ABC, the page tries to load but I finally give up after waiting several minutes. I have had other sites that are 'slow' to load (about) but eventually they will.

It wouldn't be a big deal except there are times I need to look up programming, etc for my business and it's really annoying. My ISP guy had me do a ping (forgot how now) but it responded correctly and he's at a loss now as well.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Since about the middle of December I have been unable to access the secure web site for my mail order prescriptions through Humana. The Pharmacy is called RightSourceRx. The browser goes to the login page, logs in (I use RoboForm) an immediately goes to a blank white page with the message "The system cannot find the file specified". There is no error code or anything else. The tab is titled "Error". I contacted the web services dept at Humana and they agree it looks like a problem at the server, but cannot find any kind of error at their end. They can view the account normally. They suggested I allow them to erase the account and then I would create a new account by going through the registration process again. I did so and it is still the same.

This morning I called them again and after a 30 minute wait the "Web Tech" told me it was a problem with my ISP changing software. Since that was the ONLY secure site (or non-secure for that matter) i had any kind of problem with, I had serious doubts my ISP was at fault. I did, however, call a tech who is one of the top people at my ISP and asked him the question. He responded that they have no software loaded, updated or even used that could do anything like that. In the past I had tried logging on with both IE8 and FF v7.0.1 with the same behavior from both. Today, I was able to get logged in with IE8, but the message came up the server was being worked on and not available (or something like that) a... Read more

Tuff one to pick which forum to post this. I believe it is probably some sort of setting somewhere, so general OS seemed best. Move it if you like.

Now the problem. I run my main system through my server, for net, which is connected by my 1000base hub. Both system run Win7 Ultimate. Web sites fail to load, but it isn't your standard wait, wait, wait, timeout. This is instant. I click a link and BAM, Server not found..
I have to hit the refresh button, the usually the page will come up. Sometimes it is slow, sometimes fine, and other times will timeout and I have to refresh again, or weirdly sometimes an old-school looking page with just links, no nice layout and GFX.
I'm not exactly sure when this started. I run the current version of Firefox.
Anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this? It wasn't always like this. And it is gotten quite frustrating.

Answer:Web page load error

I get that a lot. A weak Internet connection (cannot find server cuz there's nothing with which to find it) will do that pretty quickly and pretty frequently.

I know there have been other threads on this topic, however, I have read them and tried all of their solutions to no avail.

This problem started when I switched to Comcast service. Our setup is now a Comcast modem, hooked up to a netgear wireless router. I figure the problem has to be there somewhere.

I can access any other web page just fine. I can connect to fb momentarily at random times throughout the day, no more than 5 minutes, and this issue occurs on all of my computers. Here's the odd thing...when I cannot access the fb homepage I also cannot use fb to sign in to any other social apps like twitter, smugmug, etc. and the facebook widget on my website pulls up blank as well, showing a cannot connect error.

I've gone to the sites to check if the site was down for everyone, and was assured it was only me.

I've tried accessing it over https

I've checked for a firewall blockage and for a blocked/restricted sites entry

I've cleared the cache/cookies, flushed the DNS, restarted all the devices and routers.

I've edited the hosts file and tried deleting the hosts file.

I've set my MTU at 1400 and synchronized my clock.

That accounts for all the solutions I could find online. They have all failed for me.

For whatever reason this website seems to want to randomly refuse to connect. It's most vexing.
Any help would be appreciated

I've searched without any joy. I use both IE6 and Firefox on XP with SP2, Windows Firewall set to allow both browsers. When I go onto the internet I connect Ok but in both browsers my home page will not load. However - if I click on the homepage icon it loads no problem. Any ideas gratefully received.

I can access internet sites but can't get the default intranet company web page. It was working fine and then suddenly the intranet stopped working... getting "page not found."
I am on Windows Small Business Server 2003. I checked and unchecked the internet connection settings hoping something would work and nothing has helped. Only one workstation can access intranet, the other 3 can't.

Hi, friends,
I just recently installed the new Internet Explorer 7 in two computers. In this computer it works very nicely. In the other, it opens, but will not load any page. I fed various pages as start pages in Options and it would not open them. I have deactivated Norton Internet Security, I inserted Internet Explorer as one of the programs allowed as a "Web browser" by NIS to communicate to and from the Internet, I deactivated Ad-aware's Ad-watch, I checked that Windows firewall was deactivated, and nothing seems to work. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, as it may be, all my customers work within the Microsoft realm. I have great respect for all those who can experiment with other software, and I envy the leisure they enjoy to try out all that’s out there. However, I am FORCED by my occupation to work with the software my customers use (Microsoft). Please refrain from recommending me anything different from I.E. because I want software that has these hateful, monopolistic, exclusive, little intimate links to the MS Windows OS. What I may do is go back to I.E 6. When I find something that works CONSISTENTLY better with the rest of the Microsof software, and is used by the majority of my customers I will gladly change. As I implied before, I am not a sophisticated amateur, but a professional provider of services that has to use software to do it. I have tried other browsers Mozilla, K-meleon, etc. and I have come ... Read more

Hi all. I'm running a p3 500 Mhz with 128 mb of ram, and a 10 gig enhanced IDE hdd. Recently, I've had to do a clean install of 98se, and all seemed to go smoothly. However, after downloading all the updates from windows update (including ie6 sp1), I have a minor, but confounding problem. When I launch ie6, it will not go to my home page, and clicking refresh does not work. I have to click the home button in order to get there. Also, I have a small stand-alone program called weatherbug, which launches on windows startup, automatically connects, and gives me the weather. Weatherbug still dials up but stops once a connection is made. Any ideas? Btw, i recently got a new modem, as my old one was fried. It is a u.s. robotics 28.8 external. Dont laugh, where I am 28.8 is fast. Thx all.

Answer:ie6 will not load home page...what gives?

Try winsock repair. It will recognize your version of Windows.

I have 2 pc's, one running 7 home 64 bit (main machine), one running 10 pro 64. I use the dating site "Plenty of Fish". The 7 machine will randomly not load the site. Just gives that "connection timed out" error. When this is going on, the other pc WILL always load the page, so it's not the site or connection. Just now, I had the site open for a couple hours, but not logged in, and not using it. Just sitting there on the entry page, while I used other sites in other windows (Firefox). Went to log in, got the "timed out" thing. This ALWAYS goes away if I reboot the 7 machine. Tried killing the firewall, no difference. I run Firefox 99% of the time, but while getting the "timed out" error, the page also will not load in IE, again, until I reboot. What might this be?

Answer:PC randomly won't load a particular page

Hello Fred mate could be anything and can you post the specs pleas it is so hard to help not knowing what we are dealing with.

System Info - See Your System Specs - personally I like to see the specs as added to your profile and are easily accessed at the bottom of your posts.

Now I do get this problem with my portable modem on the laptop and it usually it gets resolved with what you do. Now I would be checking or even updating the drivers for the LAN or WLAN whichever you use and if we knew what board was in the machine we could link them for you.

I would also run these
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Disk Check < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2 > in safe mode if need be

SFC usually best run for three scans

Hi everybody,

I have been using home page that was provided by my IPS AT&T. All of the sudden I could not get a home page when I clicked on Home button. My home page is It works on hubby's PC and doesn't work on mine. It's a customizable page that allows me to put only the stuff I want - calendar, news, apps. etc.
When I clicked on Home I get this error message (please see attached image):

Does anybody use this home page from AT&T and has an idea what happened. I did a System Restore already and it did not help.
Any tip and advice are much appreciated.
P.S. I tries to use ADW Cleaner to remove whatever a problem may be with Yahoo, but ADW freezes my computer, totally unusable. .

I have my notebook computer (xp pro) and my home computer (xp home) sharing a kvm switch. My web home page is a personal page. For some reason on the new home machine when I go to the excite home page it doesn't load photo's and icons. However the notebook does this fine. So I've totally disabled all of spyware blaster's protections. I've set internet security options to low. I've turned firewall off. And it still doesn't load correctly.
Any ideas?

Answer:Web page won't load correctly

By all means, don't set your security options to low... The problem you're having isn't related to your browser security settings. I assume you're using IE as your web browser. If so, open Internet Properties >> Advanced tab; scroll down to Multimedia to view the current settings and go from there...

I use Verizon “My Yahoo” as my home page. I have it customized the way I like, but a few weeks ago parts of it stopped working. The links, which open a new page, work fine. However, the tabs, which take me to a new part of the same page, get a spinning wheel and never seem to load. The odd thing is that the very same page works fine on my husband’s computer.
I have deleted cookies, browsing history, etc. and reset IE to default settings. I also disabled all add-ons and used Microsoft’s Fixit tool. Nothing helped.

Does anyone else have these problems or a solution? Thanks.

My Belkin wireless router's page ( won't load. I just get a blank page.
Please help.

Answer:Router page won't load

It could be 2 things. 1) the router has hung.
Try rebooting the router.
Open a command prompt and try to ping your router.

2) it could be something wrong with your browser.
If you are using IE, then try running IE without any add-ons. That shortcut can be found at All Programs > Accessories > System Tools
If that doesn't work, you can try to reset your IE to out-of-box condition. IE > Gear > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset button.
If that doesn't work, try another browser like FireFox or Chrome.

ok, strange question here
this morning had a few ps3s available and all of a sudden when i clicked on the link everything started to go real slow, then didnt load. i tried with multiple windows and i tried with multiple computers with no luck. 10 minutes later the site loaded and it was sold out.
apparently the server was overloaded with people, yet somehow some lucky (or smart?) people managed to get one.
it got my curiosity burning- what were these people doing that i wasnt?
is there any smarter way to log into a page thats being pounded by people? a program? a technique? anything must be smarter then 2 browsers on 2 computers lol
please share

Answer:how do you load a swamped page?

unfortunately just one of them things, another thing you could do is if your using a router set your DNS inside it. Or if its a modem set them inside the network connections. Other people might have been online before you and where waiting to buy them before you.
