Preferred Solution: Is Kingsoft Office Suite 2012 really free?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Does anyone have any experience with Kingsoft's office suite (the free one)?

I was downloading Foxit's pdf reader the other day and noticed they appeared to be offering a Foxit office suite on their site. Digging a little deeper, I noticed it was basically the Foxit pdf reader bundled with a Kingsoft developed office suite. I went over to Kingsoft's site for a more direct look and liked that the suite weighed in at less than 40mb (compared to the 200 or so for the more feature rich Libre Office I usually use). I figured it must be a pretty lean and nimble package and that has a certain appeal to me. That said, I'll admit that I raised an eyebrow when I saw that Kingsoft was based way out in Hong Kong, China.

Just curious as to whether anyone has used any Kingsoft software and could weigh in with some quick opinions.

Answer:Anyone used Kingsoft's office suite (free)?

I've used it. There is a button on the main screen that ask you to switch to the paid version but otherwise it's fully featured and very similar to Word 2003.

I have tried to post this issue in the Kingsoft forum, but so far am unable to complete the registration there.

I just installed the program. When I open Writer, two tabs appear: a blank document and a web page for downloading templates. How do I stop the web page from opening??
EDIT: Figured it out. There is a check box at the bottom corner of the web page tab to "open blank document on startup." Checking the box solved the problem.

Snipped from a Norwegian site:http://www.dinside.no/878443/norske-...ingsoft-office "Kingsoft Office 2012 - excellent and free office suite
However, a disadvantage of the suite, there is no Norwegian spelling, at least not officially. But ?yvind Kaurstad, one of our faithful readers, have found a solution to the problem. It turns out in fact that dictionaries are used in a different, free Microsoft Office competitor, OpenOffice.org, is compatible with those used in Kingsoft Office. Completely hassle-free it is not. - I first tried to add dictionary in Kingsoft Office under the menu Options / Spelling / Custom Dictionaries. You get added it, but it does not work. After some research I found that by replacing the original English dictionary with the Norwegian, so it works just fine, says Kaurstad to DinSide.no.
How-
1. Download the Norwegian dictionaries from OpenOffice.org by clicking on the link below:
Glossary: Bokm?l (1,331 KB)
2. Extract the two files in the ZIP archive to C: \ Application Data \ Kingsoft \ office6 \ buildin . Answer yes to the question whether to overwrite files that already exist there. Alternatively, you can back up these first, if you later plan to go back to English spelling again." I haven't had time to try this, but It ought to work for any language you can download dictionaries for.

Hi there
If you are looking for a good alternative to MS office I suggest you try KINGSOFT (or WPS now) Office -- even the EXCEL seems to be reasonably compatible with Ms OFFICE. I haven't tried comparison with EXCEL 2013 but it doesn't have problems with some of my quite complex OFFICE 2007 spreadsheets and the OFFICE 2010 stuff I've tested works fine too.

http://www.ksosoft.com/product/office-free.html

There's even Linux versions (.deb, .rpm, .tgz) so you can install using the package manager of your choice. It's in ALPHA on Linux but for ALPHA software it seems pretty good.

Screenshot of a complex spreadsheet created with EXCEL but running in WPS office on an OPENSUSE 13.1 Linux system.

IMO A lot more compatible than LIBREOFFICE

Hey All,

I have been investigating alternatives for users who hate the new MS Office Ribbon Interface. One option that I have heard of is Kingsoft Office. Unlike Libre Office or Open Office, it does not use Java. But is it true that A LIMITATION THAT THE FREE VERSION HAS IS THAT IT MUST BE REINSTALLED ONCE A YEAR? I have heard this.

Has anyone tested this, to see if this is true? I wondered if Kingsoft Office Free really is free, or do you have to re-register it each year like an anti-virus?

Answer:FREE Kingsoft OFFICE pretty good better than LIBREOFFICE

99% of my use of MS Office is Publisher, love that program, been using it since version 1. In the beginning they sold it separately, still can't find better suited program for DTP. Printed whole bunch of stuff with it, brochures, catalogs, price sheets even few books. Had full Office 2013 bought and pushed on me by a customer I was doing some work for but now without that I'm keeping this one as long as possible just because it's there and Publisher of course.
Edit.
Just downloaded for windows, how do I go about installing from newest Mint ? It's in Windows VM.

Hi
One promising tagline in SSuite Office?s homepage is No Java and No Net. Why is this important? It means that the software runs perfectly on older PCs
1)SSuite Office - The Fifth Element:
This office suite introduces some new innovative concepts in interface design and user-friendly application interaction. You get instant system access, top class application design and a cleaner desktop to name a few. The graphical-user-interface has been made into a more iconic-toolbar, mouse centric type of interface. This increases user-interaction speed and user productivity. This office suite was created to be as useful as possible to whom ever needed an office suite, and not to battle it out with the competition or try to replace them. So... if you enjoy a more uncluttered desktop, cleaner looking application interfaces, and faster software interaction, then this office suite is for You.
SSuite Office offers, aside from these three usual applications, its own email application called My EZmail, a browser, and a database called MonoBase.
It includes seven dictionaries for spell schecking: American, British, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, and German.
SSuite Office is compatible with all MSOffice documents thus preserving existing and valuable documents. More importantly, SSuite Office will not disrupt office work flow because existing MSOffice files can be read natively, averting the need to convert files. Answer:Microsoft Office Suite - Another Free Alternative

Good UI, but too much quirks.

First: It's only available in English and Chinese, and changes regional settings while launching (that creates problems for other apps).

Compatibility with Microsoft Office is better than that of LibreOffice / OpenOffice, but still far away from being considered good: I couldn't open several docx files, had problems opening password-protected, or larger documents, many that could be opened had screwed up formatting.

As Word (doc, docx), Excel (xls, xlsx), and PowerPoint (ppt, pptx) represent the global standard office formats, a good alternative should be able to interoperate properly. Kingsoft isn't, LibreOffice is even less, OpenOffice isn't at all.

I see only one alternative office suite which is seamlessly compatible, and that's SoftMaker Office by German developer SoftMaker. This has fantastic import and export filters compared to all others, is very feature-packed, and makes Microsoft Office dispensable. They also offer a lite version of a full-fledged office suite for free, try it out:

freeoffice.com

It has the same brilliant import and export filters like SoftMaker Office; in contrast to Kingsoft Office, you can change UI language, and can download dictionaries in nearly all languages of this planet, it doesn't change regional settings when launching, it's usable portably from flash drive. Try it out.

Hi there

For me the main part of looking for an Ms Office replacement is the EXCEL application -- other parts of the suite I could probably manage with any one of the alternatives.

I still don't think LibreOffice is quite ready for primetime but Kingsoft seems to offer a highly stable Free version (works fine on Android and is in Alpha for Linux).

While there IS a PRO version out there (69 USD or so compared with the 499 USD for Ms office PRO at full retail the Free version seems to offer nearly everything one would want -- I already use it on the Samsung S5 phone and I haven't had trouble reading any EXCEL documents yet.

http://www.kingsoftstore.com/spreadsheets-free.html

The EXCEL "Clone" also supports VBA macros which I must have. I'm going to play around with the FREE Windows version and the Linux version to see if it's "useable" and an alternative to LibreOffice.

Anybody else tried this suite - especially the spreadsheet yet.

Cheers

Answer:Kingsoft Office - seems quite compatable with Ms Office 2010

I've heard good things about Kingsoft and have been watching it as a possible replacement for M$ Office 2010 when Win 7 reaches EOL and M$ hasn't come to its senses about their one OS for everything B.S. Open Office and Libre Office depend on Java for some of their features and I do not want Java on any machine of mine, especially after the rash of security issues it's been having. However, I plan on using Office 2010 and Win 7 until sometime in 2019 when I have to decide between M$'s latest and greatest or go with one of the Linux flavors. Office isn't the only program I use that can cause compatibility issues for a switch to Linux although I suspect there will be fewer of those issues by 2019.

Today my brother used my PC to print, and when I came back... Kingsoft Office was updating to the WPS Office. (annoying update request to their new Office ) I figure its installing and deleteing already, so I'll just see what the new ones like... but I was happy with last the 2013 version.

Now this WPS Office or WSP or wtf its called... is taking almost twice the space as the Kingsoft office, and I dunno what it did or installed...?? I looked into my program files I don't see WPS Office files anywhere, and I cannot locate anything for WPS, I only find startup items... it works, so I know its somewhere... I hate when programs just do whatever. (it's not in application data either) where the f_ is the .exe files.

Should I try a restore point?, or just uninstall, or leave it alone? Is this safe or malware?? I never had a problem with installing the old one, this new one put three start up items out of order and the icons take up less space on my programs list (at least their all still there) I just don't get why I cannot locate anything on my PC about WPS Office.

I could ask my brother if he hit the install now but I bet he wont rememeber.

When this pop up first showed,... I didn't know Kingsoft changed... they might want to make it known.

Been using Kingsoft Office (free edition based on Office 2007). Really great free office suite! Anyway, I decided to try out the free mobile app on my iPad. It works fine, but it's the saving updated documents that has me climbing the wall. Instead of updating the original - which I bring onto the iPad using DropBox - it makes a copy. OpenOffice (and it's cousin LibreOffice) probably have the largest base of users and developers between the two, and if you've ever used an older version of Microsoft Office, then the learning curve would be minimal. Just like title and description, since the company will not respond to the question,
Does Kingsoft Office Suite require .NET Framework, or Visual C++ Redistributables in order to install and work?

My old notebook computer with Windows XP s.p. 3 does not have .NET and does not (or not supposed to) have Visual C++ Redistributables, and I do not want to install them, because that old notebook computer is old and slow and has limited hard disc capacity. The idea is to try the Kingsoft Office on the old computer and test it, before trying on the newer notebook computer (which does have the .NET and some C++ Redistr.s) with Windows Vista.

Answer:what other software does Kingsoft Office need?

I don't follow your logic. Why not put on the new machine and uninstall if it's no good? If you put it on the old machine, would you uninstall anyway if it's no good? If you install it on the old machine and it's slow, what will that tell you? Nothing.

Hi there

For people looking for a decent alternative to Ms Office - try KINGSOFT OFFICE (also called WPS Office) .

Versions for Windows, Android (works brilliantly on Mobile phone / tablet) and now released for Linux too.

IMO this is more compatible than Libre Office and good alternative to subscription models.

We have it on 2 of the 3 computers we have and it doesn't seem to be compatible with Word as it is said to be. When my daughter attaches her assignments to her professor it doesn't work.

It is on a refurbished Dell ( XP PRO Interl® Celeron® CPU: 2.40 GHZ, 2.39Ghz, RAM: 504 MB).

What might I try to get these programs to sync?

Thanks so much!

Answer:compatibility of "open office" suite and Microsoft Office Suite?

Hello alpad,

When she saves the document to send to the professor, which format is she saving it in? If she saves it as the default .odt, Word won't be able to open it. In the small window by "Save as Type" she needs to click the arrow to cause the drop down menu to come up, then select the proper Word version to save it as. My version of Open Office has the following MS Word options:

MS Word 97/2000/XP (.doc)
MS Word 95 (.doc)
MS Word 6.0 (.doc)

There is also an XML version. The latest version of Open Office, version 3, is also compatible with MS Word 2007; however, I don't know how that appears in the drop down menu as I don't yet have that version of Open Office.

Once she has chosen the proper Word format, then she needs to save the document. This is the version she should submit to the professor.

Should I get Libreoffice or Kingsoft?Kingsoft = better compatibilityLibreoffice = open-source and overall better UI.Stuck?

Answer:Get LibreOffice 4 or KingSoft Office 2013 dilemma

Install and use both of them for a while alongside each other then decide which one suits your needs. Unless you use a lot of different document types then personally I would say that the UI is more important."I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us..." Pink Floyd

This evening, I installed in my computer Microsoft Professional Office suite 2003.I installed all the components, ie, Word, Publisher, powerpoint, excel and access.
All the applications worked immediatley and correctly except, Access. This application will neither open or run ? I have uninstalled it, re-installed twice, but that particular component will not run.
Any advise would be appreciated.

Hello all, the entire Office 2003 suite one day looks old like 2000 or Windows 2000 icons in general.

Does anyone know why this happened and how it could be fixed?

Thanks.

Answer:Entire Office 2003 suite looks like Office 2000

This had happened to me once but in office 2007. It happened when I tried to open an older file type so It went into compatibility mode, which also changes the layout.

Not sure if its the same thing with office 2003 but go into options, advanced, and see if you can find something like compatibility options or layout.

Anyway if its not their your looking for some kind of option like that so snoop around all the options, views, and windows menus.

Bitdefender has dumbed down BDIS 2013, compared to 2012 - especially in the Firewall department. its 'Paranoid Mode' now apparently decides which software is safe or not, as opposed to when it let the advanced users decide what to allow...or not. Is there a free alternative (just the Firewall)? I intend to only buy the BD Antivirus module. The firewall should be two-way, and smart at learning rules according to the user's choice.

I removed Security Suite 2012 over the weekend following the instructions on this website. It appears to be removed, but I am now having problems with using any search engine. When I attempt to search using Bing or Google, the computer just sits waiting for the website. It does not connect to the search engine nor does it redirect to another site. I saw someone else had similar troubles after removing Security Suite 2012, so I'm suspecting I may not have completely removed it or that it left behind some damage.

Thank you for being here and being so helpful.

Question: Best Office suite

Hi all!! I am a newbie in this forum.. My dad has recently shifted to his new office and he needs a new office suite..As it is he's gonna buy so I am thinking of upgrading my personal pc as well. I suggested him the Microsoft Office 2007 Professional. What do you say guys? Shall we go for it? Also the price I found here http://ecostsoftware.com was ?291 and pc world is having the same for ?350 http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/652219. I want to know why is there such a huge difference between the prices when the product is da same? I am really confused. Dont wanna suggest something wrong to my dad and get my pocket money screwed up..Help Guys!! Thanks in advance..

Answer:Best Office suite

I'm not familiar with http://ecostsoftware.com but it seems to be legitimate.  Yes, the price difference between the two sites is substantial, but I don't think the prices on http://ecostsoftware.com are any indication of pirated/illegal software.  If you come across MS Office selling for, say, a third or less than the normal retail price, that's when you really need to be suspicious.  So, I would buy from http://ecostsoftware.com.  If either you or your father already have an older version of MS Office, an upgrade version of Office 2007, rather than a full version, will save money.  And, you might also review the differences between versions of MS Office 2007.  For example, if you have no need for Access, then the Standard edition may be quite adequate for you.  And, then, there's an entirely free alternative: OpenOffice.org.

Question: Office Suite

I have used Lotus 123, Wordpro and Freelance (or earlier versions from Lotus for up to 20 years! I am used to writing macros in 123 linked to Freelance to automatically update graphs etc on a daily basis. Should I consider going through the learning curve of switching to Microsoft, or will Lotus keep up - is it still available? I am retired now so do not need to be quite so up to date, and only want to consider Lotus or Microsoft, rather than other suites. Any views?

Answer:Office Suite

I've never used Lotus but I've got used to MS office. If you don't do that much anyway you might consider OpenOffice as its free.If your old Lotus still works and you're used to it I don't see why you don't just keep using it.As a cheaper alternative to the full office you could also consider MS Works.

Question: Open Office Suite

Does anyone know anything about this program? I've been having a bit of trouble with my office 2000 (word) and was wondering if it was worth a try. I assume it's safe to use?

Answer:Open Office Suite

It is safe to use. If you were working with word 2000, then yes, open libre (office) will work fine. Though, if you use macros or anything special, you'll have to re-work them.

We are currently going from 2007 to 2010. Surprisingly the transition from 2003 to 2007 wasn't as bad as going from 2007 to 2010. The users aspect that is.

Here is where I'm at, when I click on MS Word, nothing opens. In Task Manager, winword.exe runs for about 2-3 seconds then disappears. "winword /a" (safe mode?) does the same thing. Excel, same thing. No error messages, nothing in Event Viewer!

Now here's what lead up to it, the user installed Office 2007 Ultimate, via a download from school website, and for some reason it didn't work. After a reinstall or two, it was completely fouled up. The program was essentially missing, yet was listed in Add/Remove. When you click Remove, an hourglass appears then just goes back to Add/Remove after about 10 seconds. I installed MS Windows Installer 4.5, rebooted, and was able to then install Office 2007, then Uninstall, delete office12 user folder, reinstall, no change.

Ran Office self diagnostic tool, says everything is Fine.

Adobe Reader 9.1 had recently been installed, and that may be the culprit, because of the way that is acting. In Add/Remove it gives an error message, can't remove, and when you download the installer, it gives an error, can't install. It opens okay, but when you print a PDF, it gives an error, saying no pages have been selected to print. Foxit Reader works okay. Adobe is trashed, is there a manual way to remove it? I couldn't find an uninstaller tool.

Found a MSKB article that was semi-specific to this problem, but did not help. I think at this point a system restore would either fail or just cause problems. I ran dial-a-fix, ran the security fi... Read more

Answer:Office 2007 suite will NOT run on XP SP3

Solved.

Used Revo to uninstall Office and Adobe software, cleaned registry with Eusing, updated bios from old version... and voila, it worked. I suspect Adobe software fouled it up , procmon reported insufficient resource on a bunch of registry calls. -Just needed some cleaning, and worked fine. Too bad Microsoft diagnostic couldn't detect anything, that reported there were no errors with the app.

I purchased MS Office Suite Home and Student 2010 without the Outlook component.

3 months later thru a promotion at work I was offered MS Office Suite Professional 2010 which I took advantage of to get the Outlook.

Problem is that the Home and Student was downloaded and installed and working fine in a 64bit and the product from work was 32bit. Not compatible.

I want to uninstall the 64 and install the 32bit so that I can have the Outlook program but I want to do so as CLEANLY as possible.

Can anyone help me go thru the steps?

Answer:MS Office suite 2010

Welcome to WSF.

Office 2010 64-bit will uninstall quite happily via Control Panel>Uninstall Programs, but you might want to use a third-party uninstaller such as Revo, which will scan the registry for remnants and leftover files.

Make sure you reboot after you've uninstalled the 64-bit version, and then install your 32-bit version.

I recently installed an update.  Shortly afterward I encountered a .dll error when attempting to open Microsoft Excel.  I attempted to repair the program twice, with no success.  Same with Word.  I uninstalled MS Office with the intent of reinstalling.  However, when I attempted to do that, I was asked for my MS account info, along with a product key.  My laptop came with MS Office pre-installed, so I do not have a product key. One hour of chat with Microsoft technical support resulted in the customer service representative suggesting I contact the manufacturer, as the software was pre-installed. I am using a wireless connection on my home network.  This laptop is my personal equipment. Anyone else have this problem?

Answer:Problems with MS Office suite

I am having the EXACT same problem. I bought a BRAND NEW HP All-In-One 22-3110. Went through all the set up phase and registered with Microsoft for the download of the pre-installed Office. Keeps asking for a product key which is not available. Microsoft blames HP and HP blames Microsoft. Have WASTED several hours trying to resolve this issue with "Customer Support" with NO HELP from either. So much for customer service. THANKS HP. Will return this POS I bought from you, advise my friends of this and buy else where. Hmmm, MAC? They have compatable Microsoft programs noe.

After looking through several posts, I am wondering which is the best application to replace MS Office. I have seen a few suggestions, still I see nothing that will completely replace MS Office. I use office Outlook, word, XL, and occasionally presentation and PPS.

Here are the three suggested, none of which can replace MS Office.
Open Office (Apache)
Libre Open Office
WPS Office Free

Is there a better application out there that is safe? I had problems with peripherals working after installing Libre Open Office and uninstalled it, using System Restore.

Or along with any of these recommendations is there an  additional application that would provide the other MS Office functions?

All recommendations are considered and thanks for your help.

Answer:Office Suite Best Choice

WPS Office Free would be my choice. I have found that files that choke on Libre or Open Office open fine in WPS. WPS seems to have the best compatibility with Microsoft Office.

I installed MS Office 2007 Pro on my then new Dell Latitude D830 laptop computer running Windows 7 about 8 months ago. I am buying a new computer from the Dell outlet, an XPS 8100 with Windows 7, but no programs, to replace my 10 year old Dell Dimension desktop running Windows XP and MS Office 2003. I have never configured nor (obviously) used the Outlook 2007 program on the laptop. I want to remove the Office 2007 pro Outlook program from my laptop and re-install it on the new desktop along with a new MS 2010 Office Home and Student licensed suite. Can I legally do this?...if not can I remove the entire 2007 suite from my laptop and re-install it on the new desktop? I'd then put a new MS 2010 Office Home and student licensed suite on the laptop...I never need to use Outlook on the laptop. Not sure about how Microsoft reacts to previously web activated suites being re-activated on a different computer...
Thanks for any help....

Answer:Move MS Office suite

If you have a license for Outlook or Office 2007 you can install just Outlook 2007 alongside the Office 2010 installation unless it is an OEM copy that came with the computer. If it is OEM you can only have it installed on the computer it came with.

I've been using Libreoffice for a couple years now, bit it's starting to get on my nerves. There are certain things I'd like to do on occasion and am unable. was wondering if anyone would have a suggestion of a good Office Suite program that is free? Thank you!
I have tried Openoffice fr a while, but witched over to Libre. I am using Windows 8.
Thank you,
Tom

Answer:Replace Office Suite

My wife uses OpenOffice and I use Kingsoft Office.  For what we do, they both seem about the same in terms of functionality.  What are the things you occasionally want to do that you can't??

Hi,

Anybody out there using the EZ Armor Suite - MS offering it FREE with their Security Update CD. Is there such a thing as a free lunch?

My version of Norton Internet Security [2003] is due for renewal soon (any ideas how much 1yrs subscription is for this?) as I'm unsure whether to buy NIS 2004 or just update NIS 2003.

When EZarmor dropped through my letterbox, is sounded too good to be true. In my humble opinion, if it looks too good to be true ....... it normally is!

Any thoughts on this free EZ Suite would be welcome before I decide what to do. (I'm prepared to remove the v invasive Symantec stuff - I've already downloaded their uninstall tools, just in case.) Please advise.

Thanks in advance,

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say how I'm protecting my system. I think with the right (free) security applications installed, you can be protected as if by a complete security suite. Best part is, you're taking the best of all sides. And did I mention they're free?

Basically my protection is

1. Avira AntiVir Personal - This antivirus application can do wonders in removing viruses and protecting your computer. It has heuristic detection which stands out amongst free antivirus packages and from my personal experience it works well with Windows Vista. Oh and did I mention it doesn't eat up much resources? (Scan once a day)

2. Malware Bytes AntiMalware - This baby is free, reliable and updated every 10 minutes, well maybe not 10 minutes but it is updated at least more than twice a day from my experience. This supplements Avira by removing items that are not detected by Avira. Now, no trojan, virus worm or whatever malicious software will ever cause great damage to your system (Scan once every three days)

3. Last but not least, Windows' default firewall will do the trick. Let's face it, we don't want anything complicated controlling our internet traffic. I mean most of us these days are behind a router which has a built in firewall already. I honestly even didn't run my firewall with xp and was fine with it.

P.S. Oh and since we're talking Vista, may I add that UAC (User Account Control) is also going to supplement the security of your system

Oh man too many tabs, I think this s... Read more

You will probably flush out lots of opinions & recommendations here.
Incidentally, why do choose not to include Defender?
What you are using seems ok to me.
Your best free protection is to surf safely & to watch what you click on & down load.

Hi,

I got a new system and I am restoring my old system to give as an xmas gift to a relative who has never had a computer before (but does use one at work).

Well, anyway, I want to install some useful programs I have like anti-spyware software like AdAware, Spybot, MS Antispy, etc. I also want to put a security suite on it like firewall/AV program. I have a paid-for copy of Norton Internet Security/AV that I do not use on my new system, however, it really bogged my old system down when I used it so I really don't want to install that on the old machine as it makes it so slow.

So does anyone know of a FREE security suite that has AV protection and a firewall? Is there such a thing? I know that it might be best to get a paid-for program at some point, but I just want to give them something that is decent until they do get a better program.

Any suggestions?

Hi folks

Is it possible to create a decent free security suite for windows xp similar to what Norton and McAfee offer with the downloads here?

I am currently using Norton which will expire soon.

Answer:Free Security Suite?

I don't think there are any Free Suites, ie offering AV, Firewall ect.

If i was you, i would read How to Protect yourself from malware! and make your decision on AV and Firewall software from there, i would also get Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for "offline" scans for malware.

You appear to have a Dell Inspiron 530 desktop, and it appears to be infested with malware, spyware, etc..

Please do the following in it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Go here, then click the large blue "Download Now @ Bleeping Computer" button to download and save AdwCleaner.exe to your desktop.

Close all open windows first, then double-click AdwCleaner.exe to load its main window.

Click the "Scan" button, then allow the scanning process to finish.

Click the "Logfile" button.

When the log appears, save it.

Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE log here.

When you close AdwCleaner, ignore the warning that appears, then click "Yes".
