How to Stop the Amazon Assistant aa.hta Service

Question: How to Stop the Amazon Assistant aa.hta Service

So first of all, English is not my main language so, sorry for my bad england ok?

I will be fast and right to the point but just to make things clear this is not a final fix for fully deleting the ''virus'' but to get rid of that pop up window all the time that seems to be strong enough to resist some of the best anti-viruses out there so here is the deal:

1: Press windows key + R and write ''services.msc''
2: Find the Amazon Assistant instance and right click it and go to proprieties(i think)
3: if you did it right you will notice that in one of the boxes it is set to ''automatic'', just change it to ''disabled'' and after it stop the service.
4: save clicking on the Ok button and then go to the task manager
5: find the Amazon Assistant exe and just finish it if possible.

Now you should notice that the annoying windows has gone and from there you can get time to find a tutorial to help you get rid of the Amazon Assistant files.

That's it, leave a comment if I helped you and if not also leave a comment and i will try to help if possible.

Preferred Solution: How to Stop the Amazon Assistant aa.hta Service

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

i original posted in security - as i dont have the machine
but will probably connect tomorrow

however, as i only really want advice from the experts here - i moved to the virus forum

I have just been helping a friend remotely on a laptop - windows 10 remove amazon assistant
which keeps popping up on the screen

usually adwarecleaner followed by malwarebytes gets rid of these

Adwarecleaner - listed it as an optional PUP and i made sure it was checked - also checked other amazon items WOW - etc
and removed and rebooted

Still came up

ran adwarecleaner again
this time it had removed other items - except amazon button1 (which is amazon assistant)
so removed it again and rebooted

still came up

ran malwarebytes

listed as a threat - quarantined

still there

how do we get of this think
ALL google searches appear to indicate that Malwarebytes & Adwarecleaner - should remove

I have looked through a few forums on removing the Amazon Assistant virus but I still have not removed it from my machine. I'm continuously getting the blank, white pop-up. When I went to remove the program, the "uninstall" option is greyed out and I am unable to get into the actual file to delete it because it keeps saying that the file is open. I haven't been able to close the pop-up for long enough to remove the file. As I type this, the pop-up is coming up every 10-15 seconds. I just need this gone, it's getting to be too much and my machine is slowing down exponentially.

Here are the specifications of my machine.

I'm getting blank white boxes constantly.

I didn't download it intentionally.

I have read the other 8 threads on it here.

I'm running Windows 10.

When I tried to uninstall the program I found both modify and uninstall options were shaded grey and didn't work.

I saw that the other solutions involved downloading this link:

I was going to do that and run it and put the report in this message but windows defender wasn't happy about it.

I'm poised to run it and get the report if that is the next step and very thankful that people take their time to help out in this way.

(i see that the sysinfo says windows defender is disabled. it says it's protecting me so i dunno what is going on there)

I do not know what this is or what it means, but is is annoying and a little infuriating.

What is the response of Amazon Cloudwatch. Please guide.

Answer:AVG 2012 - Service Pack 1 Beta 2 + Win an Apple iPad / Amazon Vouchers

RE: AVG 2012 - Service Pack 1 Beta + Win an Apple iPad / Amazon Vouchers

A shame they chose iPads as prizes. Hardly worth it. Vouchers are nice if you can actually use them on purchases.

I still have my voucher I won at an ESET competition 2 years ago since nothing I wish to purchase on Amazon ships to Australia, Only thing I can buy is Ebooks. >Ebooks. What a joke.

* General: Boot up time was significantly reduced.

I will privately test to see if this is true, As I know from experience AVG increases boot up time by quite a bit. Thanks.

Attackers have figured out a new way to get Amazon's cloud service to wage potent denial-of-service attacks on third-party websites—by exploiting security vulnerabilities in an open source search and analytics application known as Elasticsearch.
The power of Backdoor.Linux.Ganiw.a was documented earlier this month by researchers from antivirus provider Kaspersky Lab. Among other things, the trojan employs DNS amplification, a technique that vastly increases the volume of junk traffic being directed at a victim by abusing poorly secured domain name system servers. By sending DNS queries that are malformed to appear as if they came from the victim domain, DNS amplification can boost attack volume by 10-fold or more. The technique can be especially hard to block when distributed among thousands or hundreds of thousands of compromised computers.

I have a dvt6 Pavilion running Win7 (x64). Whenever I boot my computer, the HP Support Assistant pops up in the lower left-hand portion of the screen. While I am not interested in uninstalling the Assistant, I am not interested in having it run every time I boot. I have gone into Services and disabled the HP Support Assistant, and I do not see the related .exe file (hpsa_service.exe) in my Task Manager as a process. Is there another process that I need to disable (or tweak) to shut off the Assistant at boot time, or a specific setting in the Support Assistant I can set to prevent boot-time start?

Answer:How do I stop HP Support Assistant from loading on boot?

Hey darkhorse123-- I think I solved the problem! The Support Assistant Window for me would pop up a couple of minutes after I booted up. My first thought was that was because Support Assistant was set up as a delayed start-up service, but no luck. However, today after doing more research on the file, I ran across a random post -- nothing to do with HP -- but which seems to have targeted the cause--the Task Scheduler. I checked my Task Scheduler and I noticed that the HP Support Assistant Quick Start task was set to run three minutes after I booted the laptop. Coincidence with the pop-up window timing? Not likely! I changed the setting I am hopeful it worked. To change the Task Scheduler settings, go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler. Open the left side items (click on the arrow next to the Task Scheduler Library and the HP folder, then click on the Support Assistant folder). All the tasks related to Support Assistant should open on the top right-hand side of the screen. [If you cannot see the Triggers to each, click on each and then the Trigger tab in the lower window.] Right click on each that has a trigger you want to change (including any tasks that start at boot?), then click on "Properties." Click on the ?Triggers? tab. Toward the bottom of the tab will be an "Edit" button. Click and change the ?Begin task? setting to whatever suits you. There is no "Never" setting, so if you just want to run the task manually, u... Well... something weird happened to me today, after facing lots of problems with my PC (The laptop) I have just one remaining... on every reboot I get a message that says:
"That a portion of the Windows Live Sign In Assistant may be disabled due to a recent download and you may not be able to sign into all programs" and then states for information go to this link"

That link is useless (just goes to my hotmail page) I've reinstalled WL2011, but no luck, only disabling the service gets rid of that message, but I cannot login with messenger in exchange.

I've tried to look for a solution on google, but no luck also... the best I coud get is that is related to the account I'm using, because creating another admin account get no erros or messages in that account... but I want to use mine since all my configs are there, and maybe I can fix it somehow (maybe it's corrputed or something)

I've done an AV check and no virus found (I use ESET AV v5) and I will run a Malwarebytes scan to see if it didn't miss something...

I'm asking here as always, because the experts are here...

Thanks in advance

See ya!!!

Answer:Windows Live Sign-In Assistant Service went nuts...

I ran Malwarebytes, no malware found... so I guess this is a corrupted file problem... or my profile went nuts...

Hello all,
I recently upgraded my mother's computer to 8.1 from 8. I'm a tech that's been working on PCs a long time and this one has me puzzled. And Microsoft Tier 2 Phone Support had no clue. I called them and they sent me to the higher level and basically he couldn't figure it out.
After I upgraded I noticed that Windows Live Mail (her preferred email desktop application) wouldn't open saying it was out of memory. I did some research and I found out it was the sign in service not being started. Well I started it and of course it loaded like a champ.
But every time we close the app for very long at all, the service completely stops again. I've set the service to default startup (for that one it's Manual/Trigger Start) and that didn't make any difference. Also changing the user account between local and MS account made no difference. I believe I did try a new user entirely as well.
The computer is fine otherwise. I'm afraid I'm going to have to do a refresh but thought I'd ask if anyone has any other suggestions. It's the weirdest thing I've ever encountered. If a refresh fails and I have to do a reset, I'm not going to be happy. She's a bit stubborn and insists on Live Mail, and hates me having to constantly open up services.msc and turn it back on all the time.

Neither of which are remotely accurate. How do I change them? I have tried removing and reloading an updated version (of each) with no joy.

Do you mean the notebook?s serial and model number?

These details are part of the DMI string.
Usually after the mainboard exchange such DMI string needs to be updated using correct data.
In case the DMI will not be updated, the data like serial number and others will not be shown correctly.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to come to for this. For the last few days, I have not been able to access or My housemate (who I'm on the same wireless network as) can access it on his computer, but when I try on mine, I just get redirected to my Sony Vaio google search page saying it can't find it. I've done three scans for viruses etc and got nothing. I've reinstalled IE7 and all that's changed now is that when I try and access amazon, it now comes up as Cannot display page, so it's not even redirecting me to the Sony Vaio google seach page anymore.

I know amazon isn't down as my housemate can get it. Can anyone suggest what's wrong here? To me it's very bizarre and has never happened before.

hello dear sir
I have the problem with my printers in my office . the printers are HP laser jet 1300 and 2035.
my problems is : After I print a document , printer does not stop and printing white papers until I stop print service or power down the printer.
whenI push ctrl+p  to print ,
some files like shockwave.shd appears in this address." c:\windows\system 32\spooler\printers". and these files never vanished unless i stop the print spooler.
I know that  : The following briefly describes the purpose
of SPL, SHD, and TMP files:

SPL files are the actual spool (print job) files.

TMP files are usually associated with LPR print jobs.

SHD files provide information about which printer the print job was sent to and from
whom the print job came. An SHD file is a "shadow" file that keeps track of what logical printer a (same number) xxxxx.spl file goes to. It also contains the file's order in the queue, the user who sent the file to the printer, and other information.
These files are usually deleted unless the logical printer settings state otherwise.
but these files  never vanished and untils these file were removed manually ,
printer cant print at all.
please help me .

Sup guys, im new to the forum so hello to all!

basically what brings me here is that
i used to be able to stop a service
witch was my norton internet security.
the reason why i would stop it, was
so i can run a software called pro tools le
so it can run efficiently, etc etc.

i recently updated my anti software program cause
it said there was an update. After that update,
now for some reason i cant stop the service?

when i open up my task manager, i click on services
then i scroll down to find the service i want to stop
(norton internet security)
once i click it, it doesnt say stop or restart

i used to be able to stop it now its not letting me at all
the start up type on this service is automatic.

when i right click on the service and click properties
i get a new window, BUT, i cant seem to change anything?

i am the only user on this laptop.

if theres anyway you can help me please do, AND THANK YOU.

Answer:Used to be able to stop this service

I would try sc.exe from an Administrator command prompt.

In the command prompt type
sc --help

for the command line switches.

It should allow you to stop start and get status of services. In Task Manager look up your service to get the real name. Example, Sandboxie service is "sbiesvc"

Hello Friends,

I am Nikhil. I am having Windows XP Home Edition, SP1 at my end. On startup it automatically starts the Windows Messenger Service msmsgs.exe

I had tried to disable it but everytime, it starts again at startup. Even I had removed it through "Add / Remove Programs", but in vein.

Can you please tell me whether this utility really needed for smooth operation of windows ? If not, how to remove it ?

Answer:How to stop msmsgs.exe service ?

If you don't use Windows Messenger, you can disable it as follows: Start -> Programs -> Windows Messenger -> Tools -> Options -> Preferences. Uncheck "Run this program when Windows Starts".

Note: The msmsgs.exe file is located in the C:\Program Files\Messenger folder. In other cases, msmsgs.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm! Check this with Security Task Manager.

Oldtimer has been helping me in the malware forum to sort some problems out, which appear to have been fixed, so i tried to do the same to another computer in the house which has similiar problems.
i needed to stop the messenger service in windows XP as it was giving me messages every 10 seconds saying i had system registry errors and critical errors and all sorts of things which didnt appear to be true. i stopped messenger service and told it not to load on startup, and things have been better since. however when i tried to do it on the other machine (also running xp), i could stop it running but the drop down for 'disable automatic startup' wasnt there at all.
the messages stopped but came back after restarting

any idea how i can sort it out or why there isnt a drop down?

thanks, jen.

For some reason my I cannot disable or set my plug and play service to manual. It always seems to be running no matter what I try. When I try to manually stop the service, the option is grayed out along with all other options. I tried to do a sfc/ and the operation didn't seem to fix the problem. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks

Answer:plug&play service will not stop

Try disabling the services that depend on Plug & Play, and see if that changes anything. I'm thinking it won't let you because a service that depends on it is running.

In general, greyed-out services are a sign of malware, like when your windows buttons are classic and the option to change it is greyed-out.

Dial-a-fix has a tool that "Repairs Permissions", set's them to what you could call "factory default". I've never seen your problem, and am wondering if you have a broke computer rather than a "how do I tweak this thing" kind of problem.

Are you trying to do this to get some performance ? If so, the single biggest performance booster I've found is a program called "MyDefrag". Not only does it defrag the files, it moves more-frequently accesses files to faster parts of the HD, and less-frequently used files to slower areas.

When I open my laptop lid, it seems like it becomes very sluggish for the next 20-30 minutes. I checked the Task Manager and it turns out that the following service runs at a constant 50% CPU utilization:

wuauserv - Windows Update

and only if I stop it things come to normal.

Is there any other way to fix this?

Answer:How to stop Windows Update service from using up too much CPU?

Well you could open Windows Update, click "Change settings" and select "Never check for updates (not recommended)" in the Important updates drop-down list. It would then be up to you to open Windows Update and click "Check for updates" at times more convenient for you. Of course nearly all Windows updates are released on a Tuesday during the first half of each month, but important updates could be released at any time.

It has been observed that Windows Update became much more resource-intensive after Windows 10 was released this summer. Most who complained were running 32-bit Vista: windows update just seems to hang while checking.

Since I haven't uninstalled the program I'm not clicking yes!

Good evening,

This is actually a follow-up to a previous post ( I had in this forum but since I marked that one 'solved' I figured it would be best to start a new thread.

In that thread I was told that since I didn't have any kind of network in my house (I only have one computer) it would be okay to
disable my Wireless Network Connection -- 802.11n Wireless LAN Card.

I did this and now I notice in my Event Viewer under Custom View > Administrative Events there is an error saying: WLAN Autoconfig Service has successfully stopped.

I am curious if this service is connected with my now 'disabled' 802.11n Wireless Lan Card? If so, would there be any problem with 'stopping' it in Services since the Wireless Lan Card is already disabled too?

Thanks and regards,

Answer:Can I stop the 'WLAN Autoconfig Service'

If you are not using your Wi-Fi adapter at all, it is safe to stop the WLAN Autoconfig Service. If you are using a wireless manager software and you are using your Wi-Fi adapter you must stop the WLAN Auto config service bec. they will conflict and will cause an issue.

I inquired about this on Technet forums, I got a great functioning and undocumented answer.

The Office Software Protection Platform service starts every time you start an Office aplication. It usually doesn't exit after you exit an Office app.

If you are a process count control freak, you will be elated by this official tweak.

The Office Software Protection Platform service is generally started on demand when a user has started Office, however, there are license types which can start the service otherwise (such as those using a Key Management Server). As for stopping the service, there are several reasons we do not automatically shut down the service by default. These reasons are based on Office's cross OS version compatibility, communications from our users about their Office usage profile, preferences, resource usage profile, and differing ways in utilizing the service between Office and Windows.

That said, while we do not default our service to timing out after inactivity, if this is something your organization values, you have the ability to control this. You may set the following registry key:

Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform

ValueName: InactivityShutdownDelay

ValueType: DWORD

ValueData: The number in seconds, that the Office Software Protection Platform will stay running for, after the most recent activity. The windows default for this is 300 seconds.

Not sure if I labelled this post right, or if I am even posting this in the right category/forum.

If admins could direct this if need be, that would be cool.

What I would like to do is have some kind of .cmd or .bat file that will turn on or restart my PS3 Media Server service, just by clicking it.
Maybe one that stops the service as well, or even one that can restart it.

I currently have a shortcut to services on the desktop, but it can be annoying when I have to restart the server numerous times because of various issues, and I have to scroll thru all the services, find PS3 Media Serve service, right click, restart.
When I start PS3 Media server as a task (so you can see the GUI), with the .exe file, you simply save your settings, hit Quit, then click the .exe on the desktop and VOILA, settings saved, and server restarted.

With the service installed and enabled, you can't quickly access the GUI and see your buffer or other values as running two instances of javaw.exe makes things go all screwy.

So, with the service, in order to change settings, I have to disable the service, then click the PMS.exe on my desktop so that PMS opens as a task. I then change any settings, save them, quit the GUI, then open services, and restart the service.
And the "restart http server" option has been broke for some time now. There are so many issues right now with PMS that many people don't want the extra headache of solving service issues, and most use a shortcut copy of th... Read more

Answer:Clickable service start/stop cmd or bat file. Possible?

You can use the netsh tool (netsh.exe) to automate the control of services - add a suitably edited batch file or even a scheduled task, to run the following ...
As admin.

start a service:
Net start service_name

stop a service:
Net stop service_name
or as user or admin

Pausing a service:
Net pause service_name

Resuming a service:
Net continue service_name

To crate the Bat file

create a new text document - and add the command above on a separate line
save the .txt file

Rename the text file to have a bat extension
you will get a warning that changing an extension is not a good idea, but in this instance it is OK

I received the following Stop screen error code after installing SP 3
to my XP Home Edition OS.

Stop:0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XF781C756, 0XF79F7430, 0XF79F712C)

I had to reboot in safe mode and uninstall SP3 to get back to normal,
which is Service Pack 2. The PC is an HP Compaq SR1520NX with 1GB
Ram and 160GB HD with plenty of room. The only hardware I had a bit
of trouble with was an Nvidia AGP card which they helped me with
updating the driver several months ago. I don't seem to have any
problems otherwise with it. Also, I installed a Pinacle USB TV
Tuner. I've had some problems getting it to recognize the tuner
occasionally. Sometimes when I unplug it and re-plug it, it works.

How can I tell (from the error code) what is causing the stop screen?
I appreciate any input...thanks!

Answer:Stop Screen when installing XP - Service Pack 3

I ran into this problem when i recently upgraded someone else's computer to SP2, and honestly, i was never able to fix it, i ended up just reinstalling xp. that link above may not pertain to SP3 tho....another note, the computer I upgraded had some malware problems that I'm pretty sure i took care of before upgrading (following MG's removal steps)

In your case, since you are still able to use the computer, would be to update any of those drivers, esp. video, and maybe even remove the tuner, just in case it's the culprit.

When trying to stop de Scheduler service I get a "system error 5: access denied" error. Searching the web didn't get me very far.

The only thing I found was a matter of rights on the %systemroot%\task folder. This didn't help. Does the problem ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks in advance,

PS. What I realy want to achieve is stopping the Windows Event Log service, but this means stopping the task scheduler first.

Answer:unable to stop 'Task Scheduler' service

hi there some advice for you >>> This service manages events and event logs. It supports logging events, querying events, subscribing to events, archiving event logs, and managing event metadata. It can display events in both XML and plain text format. Stopping this service may compromise security and reliability of the system.

I am receiving RPC terminated unexpectedly errors. I have tried Kaspersky antivirus and a few other programs as I had assumed this was the blasterworm. No virus was found. I attempt to enter services via safe mode to disable the RPC service and it does not work, also tried services.msc from Cmd and it does not work. Help!!!

Answer:Unable to stop RPC service in safe mode

You are correct on your assumption. Please run Rkill from the following link: after it finishes please DO NOT reboot your computer as the worm may restart (this tool only kills the running/hidden processes of it), and then do a scan with the Norton W32.Blaster.Worm removal tool: , before running this tool, please close all other running programs, and disconnect from the internet.Helpful tips before getting started:

Can anyone help with any suggestions...
I have a laptop that continues to blue screen stop, with a 0000008E error. I have found that if I stop the Automatic Updates Service, it runs ok, but as soon as this service is restarted, the error is back. This error normally relates to hardware, like memory, or as was suggested by Microsoft, graphics, either driver or card...which does not explain why it doesn't happen if this service is stopped, but returns immediately it is restarted.

Dear All,
As per organization policy, Software should be installed by IT team only so in order to implement this, We have disabled the Admin rights to all users, everything is working fine except the .net developers, they have to work VS and IIS and sql server services

IIS would work only when users are provided with Admin rights.

How can i resolve this situation without providing local admin / special privileges to developers.

Thanks in advance,
Manoj Kumar

Not sure if this is the right place or even possible but here goes.

I visit a forum and on the forum next to any post you make it also shows part of your service provider e.g. or my question is is there a way to stop this or make it display something else?

I ask because my service provider is very specfic and i don't want people who use the site to know my provider (for reason i dont want to go into lol this sounds liek a weird thing its nothing dodgy or weird i promise!)

anyway is there a way to not have it displayed (there is no option on the forums) or have it show something different.

Answer:stop a website displaying my service provider?

That's apparently a forum thing for that specific forum. They obviously query the available information for your ISP and display it for some reason. There may be a configuration in your account options to hide it, have you checked? Are you SURE that it's publicly displayed? It might just be visible to you and perhaps board administration.

If you post a link to one of your posts, we can tell you if a guest can also see it.

In my house I can be using the phone one minute and then, for no apparent reason it switches off the service. I restart the phone and service is back on. This is the first phone I have had with this problem so I know I have good reception here I have 4 out of 5 bars when it is working. It is really annoying as I cannot keep checking the phone every few minutes.

Does anyone have a script I can modify or know of a free tool that will allow you to stop and start services on multiple machines across the network? Mainly need to make it work on Win2k Server and Win2k3 server.

I know it can be done I just don't have time to really look into right now so I'm hoping someone has a good suggestion.

Answer:script to stop/start service on multiple servers.

BTW I am making a batch file using the SC command but I am sure there is a more efficient way to do it. Thanks.

When there is electricity interruption and server restart dns service stop and I have to manually start the service although the service is set to be automaic

Answer:Server 2008 DNS service stop due to electricity interruption

If you are certain the fault originally started with a power-off, then this may not be relevant

Other than a rootkit repair, the simpler things like removing and reinstating the service might help, but I think an actual corruption is more likely.

For a server, an uninterruptible power supply is always important - vital in a commercial situation.

New to Win 8.1 which came loaded on a box purchased to run a home automation application. Installed the application and it runs perfectly when launched manually. The program opens a control window and then launches a browser interface. I attempted to make the make the program auto start by placing a shortcut in the startup folder. That didn't work. At least the control window never opened and the browser never launched. I tried several things (honestly don't remember all the steps I took), but the program didn't open. So I tried creating a bat file to open the program and placed that in the startup folder. That worked, except when the bat file executed, I got a message that said the program was already running. Sure enough, it showed it running in the task manager and I could open a browser and the program's Web page. Since there wasn't a control window, I had to stop it running through the task manager. Removed the bat file from the startup folder and restarted the machine. Opened the task manager and the program was running again.

The program is NOT showing in either startup folder (user or common). I did find it in the registry ApprovedStartup folder and deleted that entry. It does not appear in the services running list. This is an older program and does not have an option to autostart.

I'm sure I did something in all my tries to get the program to autostart (I tried several things). I know I can do a rollback, but before I do that, I'd like to understan... Read more

Answer:Program auto starts as service can't find how to stop it

It would be great to know what specific program/executable you are trying to stop? Autoruns will identify startup programs. Running services.msc will give you a list of all services and their state at statrup.

this is probably a dumb question, but if a service is disabled (HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services), will that stop the scheduled task from running also? what if set to 'manual'?

Answer:Does disabling a service stop a scheduled task from running?

The question is unclear.
What service?
What scheduled task?

Clearly describe what you are proposing to do.

Stopping the Task Scheduler service will prevent all scheduled tasks from running. You really don't want to do this.

I have Satellite A505, and the Toshiba station service stop working.
I uninstalled the application and replaced for the latest version 2.1.33 and the problem isn?t solved.

The station service message is "the Toshiba service station application failed to initialize. Try to reboot or reinstall the application".
Any suggestions to solve the problem?

Answer:Toshiba service station stop working on Vista 64

To be honest I never heard about such application and maybe is this some country/continent specific application. I have European model and we have some similar application called TEMPRO. This application runs in the background and inform user about some new updates or driver downloads.

I don't know if this Toshiba service station is designed for the same purposes but I can tell you for sure that this application is not so important and you can live without it. I have removed TEMPRO from the system. In my opinion, if you have such problems with it, just remove it from the system and problem is solved.

Can you please tell us for what is this application needed?
