Preferred Solution: ASUS G73JW having problems with bluetooth driver

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Question: Solved: Asus g73jw

I have been having issues with my ASUS laptop. I had made restore CD, and have been looking around the machine as to how to fix it. Well, in looking around, I seemed to cause a problem.

ASUS uses an F9 for the restore. It took me forever to figure this out (I can be slow at times). Well, when I did it, I noticed it was going through the restore process. It came to where it warned me data would be erased, and instead of clicking continue, since I was not ready, I clicked on cancel. Well, then it was just a grey screen. I left it there for a few, then turned it off (thinking sweet, i know how to finally get a factory restore), and when I turned it back on, I now get an error noting "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key."

*sigh*

This is totally not good, because I have a lot of important data I do not want to lose. I am not sure how to get the C drive to be "bootable" again since for some reason it is not. I can press ESC to get my boot options, or F2 to get BIOS. When I go in the BIOS, I see that the hard drive, then second drive, then Blu-ray are set, in that order, to boot.

I would appreciate help, thanks.

I've been having a problem with my laptop for a while now. It takes multiple attempts to boot up.(It will have no display, the keyboard lights won't turn on, and the hard drive light won't show.) It sounds like the fans are running and I think the disc drive also runs and I can open the disc drive.

I recently did a clean install of windows 7 to see if that would help. I formatted my hard drives thinking it could of been malware. After the install I updated to windows 10. Now sometimes when it starts it will freeze after loading windows, sometimes before showing the desktop.

I've tried to start it without the hard drives, but it doesn't boot to bios. Right now I'm on it and it's working fine, but usually after I shut it down I have the issue. I read somewhere that it could have a faulty ram slot. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

Answer:Startup Issues Asus G73JW

If the charger has a light on it is it always on or does it ever flash or go out, especially when the laptop won't power up ?
Is the charger's plug a good tight fit into the laptop's power socket ?
If you remove the battery and run it with just the charger does it still not come on straight away ?
What happens when you try to get into the Bios setup ?

Doubt it's a faulty ram slot, there would be other symptoms if it was that.

Answer:Asus driver problems

You need to make sure that the old drivers are uninstalled, before installing the new ones.

You may not be able to perform all of these steps, but do any that are available to you.
1) In Device Manager, remove the High Definition audio device (or the unknown device, if there is one) under Sound, Video & Game controllers.
2) Go into Device Manager>System, right click the UAA Hi-Def Bus driver.
Disable the device and then uninstall it. (Do not re-boot yet)
3) Uninstall Realtek High Definition Audio Driver (you may just have a folder that says Realtek) through Add/Remove Programs (if it's installed but not working)
KB888111
In Add/Remove Programs, look for the KB888111 update and uninstall it. (It may have uninstalled in last step)
If you install, remove, and then re-install this update, the update is no longer listed in Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
Therefore, you cannot remove this update from your computer.
To work around this problem, follow these steps.
1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. Locate and then click the following subkey in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Windows XP\SP2\KB888111 (may be in SP3)
3. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
4. Click Yes, and then exit Registry Editor.
Run CCleaner, both the Cleaner and Registry.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_S...ish_d4191.html
Reboot, but don't let Windows install the driver.
Install your driver, then reboot, again.

Good Afternoon All,

I have an interesting problem with my ASUS mainboard.
I have a new ASUS P4C800 E-Deluxe Mainboard which I installed about two months ago. All drivers and the O/S installed as normal. Everything was working well until the dreaded Windows Crash.
I did a Clean install of everything following the normal routine. The only problem is the Intel Pro/1000 Lan driver will not work. (No Internet Connection) It shows as being installed (All 14.47MB of it) but Device Manager says the driver is not installed and gives me a Code 28.
I have been into Microsoft's Bulletin 310123 (re: this code) , but this is no help.
This is very frustrating as the driver installed from the ASUS driver disk the first time with no problems. All other drivers and apps. from the disk installed with no issues. Nothing on the machine has been changed.
At present I am running an SMC 10/100 network card through the PCI bus...NOT my preference! I need the onboard Lan function.
This seems to be a Windows problem of not recognizing the driver.

So i recently just purchased a new phone, and i connected it to my computer via USB.
Now, once i link up my phone to my computer, it says its installing drivers, and then this box comes up.

http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/83/adadadada.jpg

Now i don't have any sort of "Disc" that they're talking about, so where can i download the "driver" software from?

Answer:Problems with Bluetooth driver?

This should help.
How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to

or much easier way, but maybe not the best driver

Hello,
i have a problem with my internet connection. Here's my story.

I had to buy a new hard-disk since the last one stopped working. As i installed it,
everything seemed fine. But when i had booted up on my Windows 7, i realized that
my internet wasn't working. I downloaded the driver from ASUS support-page but
still no luck. Since then i have tried countless times to reinstall both Windows 7
and Windows Vista. Neither of them will resolve my issue. In Device Managers there's an yellow
! And i have tried to install the driver manually through Device Manager, even in safety mode.
I have tried the internet cable on my laptop and it works fine there.
I have also tried to take the BIOS battery in and out with no luck.
I have no anti-virus software that could have done this, since the HDD is brand new, with pretty much
just OS running on it.

I have not had this problem before, it has usually been fine. The computer it-self hasn't been
moved around much. But it has been moved a couple of feet.
I hope you guys can help me, as i want to fix my computer as fast as possible.
Hope i don't have to buy a new motherboard.

Hey all, I'm fixing up a friends laptop for him because he wants to sell it to a mutual friend of ours; However, I've been tasked with upgrading from win8 to win7 on this laptop, which actually went smoother than I though. I've installed every single driver EXCEPT for the gpu. I have absolutely no idea what gpu it has. I clearly remember way back when that this computer had an AMD gpu that ran better than my current computers nvidia 660m.

When going to the driver support page, it says the computer has an nvidia gpu, despite the fact that when I try to install the provided driver I get "The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware." I get the same error when using Geforce experience, and before anyone suggests that I'm on the wrong drivers page, the back of the computer specifically states it as a q400a, and looking up the drivers via serial number brings me to the same result.

AMD driver identifier says it can't identify anything, and a program I use called driver identifier can't see an nvidia or AMD gpu.

Upon looking around online, I've found reports that this computer does not actually have a dedicated gpu. DESPITE there being an nvidia download on the drivers page, and the fact that I know it has played games such as Path of Exile, League of Legends, and DayZ FLAWLESSLY. I don't think that's possible on an intel 4000 integrated chip.

Anyway, I'm confused. So very, very confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Ideapad S10e. For some time, Bluetooth has not worked on my PC, and no BT-icon on the lower bar.So I decided to download and reinstall the driver.Starts off fine, but at about 3/4 into the "configuring Bluetooth services", the installation hangs.Still hanging after 30 mins or so. Did a new download and install, same hangup.Had to kill the install, then I rebooted ok.After this I now have the BT-icon on the lower bar, and I am able to pair with my phone, suggesting that BT may be basically ok.But no response if I click on "My bluetooth places".Anyone has a clue to this one ?Bjorn Message Edited by BBE on 03-31-2009 11:11 AM

Can you go to device manager (type device manager in search) and go to the display tab. See if the the driver is installed and working properly. If it isn't there look for any "unknown devices" with yellow triangles on them.

if everything is ok, try re-running wei. if wei ends up with the same score dont worry abt it. Its just a number and mine changes like the weather

Issue -

When I built my pc, everything worked fine. No issues, every driver perfect. Long story short I had some issues and had to do a fresh install of windows 7. Then the audio issue above started happening again. So I assumed it was a bad windows install - so I re-installed windows 2 more times and I have had the issue ever since.

If I set my speakers to quadraphonic the noise stops. But the noise still comes through my headphones and it is annoying beyond belief!!!!

I have tried every driver realtek and asus and yet nothing but problems. The default windows driver doesn't have the best quality or else I'd keep using it!

Please help me, if you can fix this I will be forever grateful to you!!!!

P.S. - Asus has no fix for this and wants me to RMA - please prevent me from going through that process.

So my computer updated to the AU last night and this seems to have broken compatibility with my sound card (Asus Xonar DG), and my wireless 360 controller. I tried re-installing the Xonar drivers for Windows 10 and it didn't work. I couldn't find any wireless 360 drivers for Win10 because I guess it's supposed to Just Work on Windows 10?

Other things I tried that didn't work:

-Rebooting

-Rolling back to yesterday's version of the OS (wouldn't let me)

-Refreshing Windows

-Resetting Windows, then reinstalling the drivers

-Physically removing and then re-installing my sound card

-Attempted to restore from a system image I made last week, but unknown reasons it would not allow me to do this

I'm pretty sure the issue is driver-related which is why I'm posting it here. I'm more concerned about the sound card as my mobo's onboard sound is borked. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it?

Thanks!

Answer:Win10 AU: ASUS Xonar and Xbox 360 wireless controller driver problems

I recall another thread a week or two ago about an ASUS Xonar sound card not working. If I remember correctly, the user removed it and went back to the Realtek on board sound.

But, if the Xonar isn't compatible with the AU, its up to ASUS to update their drivers so it is compatible.
One other thought, if the on-board is not disabled in the BIOS, the update could have enabled it and cause a conflict with the Xonar.

I know basically nothing about the Xbox 360 wireless controller, but I would try uninstalling it in the Device Manager, then restart Windows and see if its detected and reinstalled. Don't just uninstall it in the device manager then search for new hardware as it can install but have the same problem.

is it a hardware or driver issue? i hate BSODs, i used to get so many with my G1s. why do i keep buying Asus laptops?!

Answer:random BSOD brand new g73jw win 7 ultimate 64bit fresh install

The single dump file doesn't tell us much, but it does hint at network involvement.
As such I'd suggest updating your wired and wireless networking drivers.

Also, please update your webcam drivers to one that's more current (yours are from 2008)
Please remove the ISODrive program as it's from 2007.

I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests. They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:

Quote:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
http://www.carrona.org/memdiag.html (read the details at the link)
http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: http://www.carrona.org/malware.html (read the details at the link)

Beyond that, should the BSOD's continue, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:

Quote:
Using Driver Verifier is an iffy proposition. Most times it'll crash and it'll tell you what the driver is. But sometimes it'll crash and won't tell you the driver. Other times it'll crash before you can log in to Windows. If you can't get to Safe Mode, then you'll have to resort to offline editing of the registry to disable Driver Verifier.

So, I'd suggest that you first backup your stuff ... Read more

Can I connect the Grace Digital Matchstick Speaker Dock that I have for my Kindle Fire HD to my Asus desktop?
I am not familiar with Bluetooth and whether I need connections or software to do this.

I might need a different kind of Bluetooth Speaker System than the Kindle Fire HD dock.
I have the Aux cable that connects to MP3 players and cell phones. Do I need a (line-in) cable or something else to make it work. Or is this Matchstick speaker Dock not made for computers?

Answer:Bluetooth Speakers Connect to Asus All in One

Hi there
Enable BLUE TOOTH on your computer and then simply "Pair" the devices -- no software needed -- the computer will then automatically route the audio out to the blue tooth.

Blue tooth is simply Blue tooth -- you might be prompted for a PIN number -- if so the pin number will appear on the PAIR screen.

Once you've enabled the BLUE TOOTH on the computer simply right mouse click for the options.

(You can also get a USB==>Blue tooth adapter if your computer doesn't have one).

Tip - keep mobiles away from the Blue tooth receiver as these can sometimes interfere and you'll lose connectivity.

Cheers

ASUS M6VA XP pro Sp3.I am trying to set up a Bluetooth (BT) connection between my laptop and a Polaroid Pogo BT printer. There is a BT button on the laptop, and a blue indicator shows whether BT is on or off.I have tried many times to connect BT devices to my laptop, but it fails to detect any of the devices. My Mobile phone connects perfectly well with the Pogo. The manual for the laptop says only that the BT button turns the built in BT on/off.There are no instructions as to how to link any device to the laptop via BT.I have scoured the interweb for help but have found nothing relevant, although one forum member on an American forum asks where he can get an Asus M6000 BT driver, but there is no reply.Do I need to get a special driver? I have been through the device manager, and I cannot find anything that is recognisable as a BT device. A file search of the laptop for "Bluetooth" and "BTooth" does not find any files. How do I connect the laptop to my BT devices?

Answer:ASUS M6VA Bluetooth connection.

Can you right click a Bluetooth icon in the System Tray for available options? Otherwise there should be a Bluetooth applet in Control Panel to let you detect and "pair" devices.

Thanks for all the help previously offered on this issue.

I have now resolved the "network cable unplugged" issue. However, I now have a new issue. All indications are that I have a valid working connection to the internet (see attachment screen dump 3), but when I type in an internet address I receive a "Server not found" (see screen dump 4). My wireless Atheros connection works just fine.
I've tried this on both my Dell Inspirion and my Eee PC 1005HAB with the same results. My suspicion is Windows XP networking protocols.
Your help is most welcome including specific settings.
Thanks,
Ken

Hey everyone, I purchased an ASUS bt21 bluetooth adapter and am having some issues. I was previously using it on my desktop, which is still running windows xp service pack 2. The mouse I am using is a "Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000". It works perfect on my desktop, but I recently attempted to use it on my (newer) laptop and it would not function. I visited the ASUS website, and downloaded the windows 7 64 bit drivers (beta) however it does not detect my mouse when searching for bluetooth devices to add. I should mention, I did hit the sync button and the light on the mouse flashes between green / red when attempting to link the devices.

I really want to use my wireless mouse with my laptop, but have had no luck troubleshooting this on my own. Unfortunately I do not own another Bluetooth device, so I cannot determine whether or not the driver is functioning at all or it is simply incompatible with my mouse. Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can get my mouse to work with my laptop?

I saw on Google hold down the FN Key and press the F2 Key and the wireless light would come on which it did not then found the following.
Step 1: Access Bluetooth Settings
From the Windows desktop, click the Bluetooth icon at the right side of the task bar. You may need to use the Show Hidden Icons arrow to access the Bluetooth icon. Click Show Bluetooth Devices, PC and Devices, and then Bluetooth. But there is no Bluetooth icon on the task bar and all the icons are visible no access to hidden icons.

Answer:How to access Bluetooth on Asus laptop

Have you tried this..
Start - Devices and Printers - right click on the device icon of your computer name - in the drop-down box click on bluetooth settings - in bluetooth settings window tick "show the bluetooth icon in notification area"

Hello,

I did the Windows 10 update on Wednesday morning. I was happy to find out that my Bluetooth continued to work and I could still use my mouse. Today (Friday) my mouse stopped working. I went into device manager and had a look at the Bluetooth adapter. It said the adapter had reported problems and it had been stopped. I restarted my laptop in the hope that the Bluetooth would work when I started it up again; it did not. I no longer see Bluetooth settings in my Windows settings app and whenever I try to use built in Bluetooth Settings desktop app it takes me to a wizard that says 'Installing the Bluetooth Driver'. I have left this wizard for multiple hours twice and it seems to get stuck about 15% of the way in. I also do not see the driver or adapter listed in device manager.
I understand that this could be the Bluetooth driver not playing nicely with Windows 10 but I am confused, mainly because it has worked for the last 2 days. I have tried to install the latest Bluetooth Stack released by Toshiba and it doesn't work. It goes through the first wizard fine but when opening the second wizard where it says it is installing the driver, it gets stuck. As I said before, I have left that wizard for a long time and there is no progress.
Any help is greatly appreciated and I am happy to give any more information if needed.

Joseph.

Ok here is my issue ( screenshot is provided )

My board has BT Go on it as standard and even though all is installed and i can pair my devices to my pc ( phone )

I am unable to send or receive files to and from the pc to any paired device.

Now Asus website shows NO support for the bluetooth for windows 8.1 for my board as yet but does for windows 8.

I even have to use an older chipset driver suite due to several device manager issues with the newer ones.

Anyone have any solution / help as to what i can do for this to be able to help me use the bluetooth function as it should work?

Thankyou in advance.

I clean installed win10 and am getting the same result, which leads me to think it is a BIOS problem. Any ideas.

I own an HP G71-340US laptop (Windows 7 64-bit) and recently installed an ASUS bluetooth adapter USB-BT400. The bluetooth software installed easily enough and Windows indicates that the adapter is working properly. However, the laptop is not able to connect to any other bluetooth enabled devices. My Samsung cell phone is able to find the laptop via its bluetooth, but cannot connect to the laptop either. I have checked the drivers and the bluetooth settings and the bluetooth services and all are set up as recommended. So now I am wondering if the HP G71 is equipped with the necessary hardware to enable bluetooth connections or do I need to consider replacing the ASUS bluetooth adapter with a different brand. Thanks.

Hello, I just got an Asus Bluetooth USB dongle and I went through the installation process, restarted, plugged it in and now I'm getting a Code 38 in the device manager. It told me to remove any Bluetooth software I already installed, I checked for it and there wasn't any.

I have no idea what to do at this point and I really want this to work so I don't have look for another one.

Thanks in advanced.

Answer:Code 38 with Asus USB-BT400 Bluetooth Dongle

Did you have a BT device before or is there one included (built-in) in your laptop? The code indicates there is a BT driver already in memory. The normal procedure is to remove the old driver then reboot before installing a new device driver, However; Windows will install a generic BT driver when the device is first plugged in so a new driver shouldn't be needed. Post an image of your Hardware Manager with the BT device plugged in and Bluetooth Radios expanded.

Hi! Upgraded my Y500 to windows 8.1 pro and installed all the drivers but these two doesnt seem to work (Intel Bluetooth Driver and Refresh Camera Driver) for Intel Bluetooth after Clicking yes for windows permission nothing happens at all. Tried to use compatibility torubleshooter and for Refresh camera and errror would pop up saying "No apropriate drivers to be installed" or something like that. I then uninstalled the 2 devices on the devices manager (Unkown Device and Intel audio bluetooth and i think it was because of the two drivers) after that it didnt showed up again so i rolled back to the initial recovery state updated my unit again to win 8.1 pro and the two devices arent showing up now in device manager and both the drivers are still acting the same way. I just want a clean install, I had no problem with sli when i looked at device manager theres no yellow error sign with exclamation point on 1 of my video card, just this two drivers .Searched google and lenovo forums for possible solutions but to n avail.

I've installed a clean windows 10, and a few days ago i wanted to test my bluetooth and noted that i could not find it. I searched all windows, and a lot of websites and i cannot solve it.

There is no information about bluetooth on device manager, no option to turn on/off bluetooth because windows simply thinks it doesn't exist. i've tried to install all kind of drivers and no solution, even perform a system reset.

I have a Asus K53sj-sx077v. With a Wifi AR5B95, 802.11n 1x1 PCIe Minicard transceiver.

A couple of weeks ago, I was messing around with using a PS3 controller as a computer controller through Bluetooth. This, of course required a lot of messing with drivers. I tried both PPJoy and Motionjoy. I wasn't having any luck with PPJoy, so when I got MotionJoy, it worked like a charm. I remember doing something like registering a 'psudo' driver in order to let the controller work properly. Sometime after getting it all working, I rebooted the machine and my Bluetooth driver no longer worked. I tried reinstalling from the manufacturer disk (which has always worked before) with no luck. Is there any way to fix this because now my computer doesn't even recognize it under Device Manager (although Linux sees it and uses it just fine, so I know it's not dead hardware)? Any suggestions?

Was running Win10 with bluetooth perfectly well until a virus hit.
Used Malwarebytes recovery and it found a couple thousand issues. Told it to fix everything and computer bricked.
Took it to a local tech while on vacation in Mexico. Had a clean Win10 install done. It was a problem for the tech. He seems to have turned off UEFI to get legacy USB to work so he could clean install Win10. My only problem is no bluetooth.
Device Manager does not list Bluetooth.
Settings: Devices: does not list Bluetooth on the left side.
I installed current Broadcom Bluetooth driver and it said successful.
I checked Services and it says Bluetooth Support Service is running. And Bluetooth Handsfree Service is also running.
Tried uninstalling wireless device, and that didn't help.
Please.

Answer:Asus X205TA clean install but no bluetooth device found

Question: asus driver

I am trying to load the enaced asus driver for the en6200 pci express graphic card but I need to load the"ASUS DRIVER" first but I can't find it anywhere. Can any body help please?

Answer:asus driver

The asus enhanced driver is the nvidea graphic driver that has been tweaked by asus. It will be the driver that is on the disc that came with the card. You can download the latest driver from asus site. You can also use the nvidea graphics driver instead of the asus one.

Question: ASUS Driver

Hi, I would like to know if anyone knows where to find a driver for the my Ethernet Onboard device for my ASUS P4C800.

All help is appreciated.

PS: I was told that it might be called "3Com 3C940 (3C2000)", but it could as well be another name.

MightyKing

Answer:ASUS Driver

They are right where they are supposed to be.
Go to www.asus.com, then click on North America (or wherever you live) then Support, then Search for P4C800, then go to Download or the line to the right and click. You will be given choices for BIOS, BIOSUtilties, Audio, IDE, LAN, Utilities, and Manual.
The drivers you need are listed clearly under LAN, and yes they are for the 3C940... the drivers are by OS, so you have choices under W2K, WXP, and VISTA.
Sorry to do your work for you
You might also want to download the manual so you have it at your fingertips next time you need something or some guidance. Update your BIOS and BIOS Utilities... in fact update all your drivers that have dates different from when the board you have was built.

Hi: What model wireless network adapter does your notebook have? That determines what bluetooth driver you need to install. If you don't know the model wireless network adapter your notebook has, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device category, and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.

Since the move to Windows 10 (from 7) I haven't been able to connect to my Bluetooth speaker. This worked for me under Windows 7. There is no bluetooth entry in the device manager.

I have a Dell Studio 1555. Both the WiFi and the Ethernet connection to the Internet are OK.

Help in finding a solution to this problem will be appreciated.

-------------------------------

The computer is a dual boot machine with Ubuntu. The bluetooth feature does work in Ubuntu.

Answer:No Bluetooth Driver

Is there a switch or key combination to switch on Bluetooth? Try that first. Maybe you have to download and install the Launcher application from manufacturer's web site to enable key combinations. Once you switch on the Bluetooth device, it should be detected and installed automatically by Windows. If not, download the Bluetooth software from the notebook's site.

Answer:Help me about bluetooth driver.

Hi aakshat, have you tried ricght clicking on the bluetooth icon in the system tray ? from there you can turn it on or off
if the icon is not in the system tray try this

Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center
Click "Change adapter settings" in the left panel
Find your Bluetooth adapter listed there, right-click on it, and make sure it's enabled.
If it shows that it's Enabled, you can try to riight-click on it again and choose Properties.
There should be a Bluetooth tab on top, click on it.
Click on the "Bluetooth Settings" link in the bottom part of the window.
In the Bluetooth Settings window, click the Options tab, and make sure the box for "Turn off the Bluetooth adapter" is not checked.

Answer:Bluetooth driver help please

Hi there,

Have you tried uninstalling the driver, and have Windows install it automatically? All you do is go into Run (Win+R) and type devmgmt.msc and open up under the Network adapters tab. If you see the BT driver in there, right click and uninstall. Then, restart and see what happens. Here's a screenshot for reference (ignore it's on a 7 machine :P) :

Hope that helps.
