I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hallo!

Answer:Lenovo Thinkpad Bluetooth Laser Mouse hakt und ruckelt seit Creators Update am Thinkpad P70 ...

I got the same problem.... But first let me translate this for everybody here.  My P70 (or in my case P71) has a problem to keep the connection estimated between the Lenovo mouse and my Laptop. Got the current driver installed.  The German guy above me got the same issue after the creators update.   I set everything Bluetooth related in Device Manager up to NOT let windows turn of the device to save power.  The mouse cuts out for 5 sec and comes back on. If you turn the mouse upside down during that time I noticed that the battery led toggles on and off. So it reboots. So I assume it's driver related to because it worked perfectly fine before on the L530 guys machine.

Hey, The mouse doesn't come with a dongle, but I downloaded the driver from the support website. The driver recognizese the mouse and it is added to the list of bluetooth devices, however the driver doesn't get installed. It shows that the 'Bluetooth Peripheral Device" driver did not install driver successfully. The mouse does work, I tried it on my Samsung Note 2 and it worked just fine. Please help, I've spent so much time on this trying to get it to work!

Machine 3460-AQG; Win8 64bit 8 GB; Intel Centrino WiFi. ok, only two USB, one of which is usually occupied by the USB Dock.  So, I buy two Lenovo ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser mice to work without occupying a USB port for a mouse receiver. One for my X1; one for a Dell Inspiron XPS14, Win8- 64bit  btw., came in with same shipment.  Lenovo X1:  Original Thinkpad Bluetooth Laser Mouse randomly switches off and looses connection every 15 seconds or so. Workaround:  Disable the "switch off for  batterypower saving" in the Bluetooth device in Win8 device properties.  Subsequently, Bluetooth wears on battery runtime. After 30 minutes of searching, finally mouse works. Dell Inspiron:  ThinkPad mouse works like a charm, no tweak required, Dell saves energy for battery runtime.  Dell XPS14 machine cost a bit more than third (!!) of my Lenovo machine. Gerd

Answer:X1 Carbon Touch does not work with Lenovo Thinkpad Bluetooth Laser mouse

Hi, Gerd

Have you ensured that all your drivers are up to date, as well as your BIOS?  All updates for your system can be found here, if you would like to check. And for clarification, what do you exactly mean by "after 30 minutes of searching, finally mouse works?" Do you mean that the computer has to spend 30 minutes to find the mouse before it will connect?

Best,
Adam

Hi, I have used my Thinkpad bluetooth laser mouse with my T400 for a month. It worked quite well for few weeks, but suddenly, the mouse can not move at all, although it still can click and scroll fine. I tried to reinstall all the latest drivers for bluetooth and the mouse and changed new batteries but it is still same. And I found that the mouse works somehow on a semi-reflective glossy paper (i.e. cover page of magazine). I do not know if this is hardware problem.. What should I do with this mouse? Has anyone had same problem before? Please give me some advice. Thanks,Message Edited by sanglee on 01-14-2009 02:47 AM

After installed the Windows 7 Professional Upgrade (From W Vista Business), it is a real pain try to use the ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse. After applied a patch (bluetooth_laser_mouse.zip *See data below) most of problems were solved but when updating some ThinkVantage apps, the mouse becomes again unusable. The alternative I use is un-install (Control Panel) the software and apply again the above mentioned Patch. When I tried to apply the Patch without uninstall the Mouse software, the patch doesn't install because "There is a newer version installed". Below I include the data and I would like to know if there is another alternative to avoid this annoying behavior because this is a time wasted. Under Windows Vista the ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse was running fine always. I don't know if this is simialar. But I have recently installed windows 7 enterprise on my x301nd can't seem to find bluetooth anymore. There is no adapter in device manager for it. Nothing in device manager that needs drivers. I have tried installing the bluetooth software from the support website, but that didn't work. I read one other post here in the forums where someone had a similar situation but their camera didn't work either and eventually they got is fixed as a hard ware problem(My camera does work). I'm hopeing that is not the case as my machine is recently out of warrenty. Anyone know about this?

I'm back using a USB mouse since my Lenovo Win 8.1 mouse stopped left clicking.  New batteries and the following: I have tried a second Lenovo Bluetooth mouse new out of the box with similar results. And I have done the delete device and add device, uninstall software, reinstall all to no effect. Am I doomed to having a cable on my desktop or a dongle occupying a USB port? The problem just seemed to happen in the middle of using the mouse.  I also did a Win Reset without success.

Answer:ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse buttons stop working

Hello,

Did you delete the Bluetooth mouse or the Bluetooth drivers from the Device Manager?

Although I don't have a W540, I do have a W530 running Windows 8.1 Pro and had a similar problem pairing with a Lenovo Bluetooth mouse.  The solution, for me, was to to remove all of the drivers for the Bluetooth stack itself, reboot, and let Windows redetect it.  Everything's been working fine since then.

My mouse keeps losing connection with my laptop. At first, it was just occasionally. I would have to go to Control Panel and reinstall the mouse again. Then last night, I couldn't get it connected at all. I put in new batteries (my laptop/mouse is less than 2 weeks old) and that didn't help. My Y560 finds the device, there is a little popup that says the driver has been installed... but the mouse is useless. It doesn't work.So what now?Any ideas how to fix this? Secondly, I don't know if the Bluetooth itself is defective or if the mouse is crap. Is there a way to find out?

Hi, I finally got some batteries for my ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse today after months of putting it off. Anyway, after installing the driver from lenovo.com/windows7beta and after restarting, the wifi doesn't work. After the installation, the wifi and mouse both work, it's only after I reboot when the wifi decides to quit. Wifi works again after I uninstall driver. Actually I didn't know how to uninstall the driver so I system restored it. I did this two times with the same results each time. I also just tried pairing the mouse with the computer without the Lenovo drivers. The mouse and wifi both worked. When I restarted Windows, only the BT mouse was working. Somehow the wifi card got disabled in device manager. I enabled it again and all was good. My computer eventually went to sleep and when I turned it back on, the wifi quit working again. System restored again and everything's fine. Has this problem surfaced before? I'm on a T61 with 64-bit Windows 7. I also have the Intel 4965AG card with driver version 12.4.1.4. Is there a newer driver for the BT mouse that I can't find? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi -  recently bought the U400 Laptop and the Bluetooth Laser Mouse N6901. The mouse connects without any problems, but the settings for the mouse ie. slowing down the double click, does not work. When I left button click on a item, its acts like I did a double click. When I try to highlight a word or a section, it acts like I don't highlight any part.  When I single click on a delete function, it double deletes....it seems like the click is set to the highest/fastest rate and makes the mouse unuseable. Other USB mice and touchpad work fine. Any suggestions?

Hi,

After spending over 8 hours yesterday trying to get my Bluetooth mouse to cooperate I have finally reached the end of my tether.

Here's the story of events...

Pair Bluetooth mouse, all works okUse mouse with a different laptop (Win7 x64) (I do occasionally use it on other devices, it all depends on what work I am doing)Come back to use it with Win8.1 laptop and no matter what I do I cannot re-pair it.

Now I understand that once paired a mouse will try and connect with the paired device and works successfully. Now if I then use it with another PC the mouse won't try and connect as normal and the PC will have to initiate the connection or the device be deleted and re-paired.

In Windows 7 it has simply been a matter of going to Bluetooth devices and sometimes just right clicking and going to 'Connect' will work, other times just delete it and redo the pairing.

Problem is that in Windows 8 the mouse just doesn't appear in devices (whether it is working or not). So I can't right click and 'connect' nor can I delete it and do the pairing again. It is in Device Manager in Bluetooth devices and also in HID devices as a Bluetooth HID device.

No matter how I delete these they just reappear. Obviously adding a 'new' bluetooth device windows won't find it as it has 'already been paired'.

Things I've tried so far... (pretty much everything I can find on the net about similar issues)

I've tried it over and over, same thing.

Answer:Bluetooth Mouse - WM615 & XPS15 not pairing

I had the same problem with my new xps 15 9550 and the WM615 mouse. Trying to solve it with Dell, had a mechanic at my house  but to no avail.
Problem remained for about one month. Today I found this suggestion on the internet by :
Go to Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> Dell Wireless 1830 ac -> Properties -> Advanced. There you should see a list of various parameters to change. Scroll down to "Bluetooth Collaboration" and set it to "Disable". Now my mouse is working perfectly!
It works perfectly indeed!
Maybe this helps you too.

Hi,

I was using Microsoft Arc Touch Bluetooth mouse with windows 10 OS. Few days back I did "remove device" from my laptop when it was paired already and working, after that the mouse isn`t going back to the pairing mode any way. I tried pairing
it with another laptop even with different OS but the mouse itself isn`t going to pairing mode when pressing pairing button at bottom of it (for 3 to 5 seconds) its red/green light not turning on.
I don`t think its pairing button gone faulty all of a sudden. Also changed batteries but failed.

I don`t see any RESET button on the mouse to try reset it. Do anyone knows how to reset Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse? anyone who faced it and got it back to pairing mode again?

Your response will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi all I am using a Lenovo X1 model 129126U. Since last three months I am having problems connecting any bluetooth device to the machine, previously it used to work fine but then suddenly the bluetooth components dissappeared after several attempts and uninstalling and reinstalling drivers I have been unable to detect and connect any bluetooth devices. The original issue was that all BT components registered in the BT module suddenly disappered and when I tried to re connect the BT devices nothing happened. I continued to have this issue and was experiencing issues only in detecting and paring BT devices but more recently I had uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers (bluetooth as well as wireless) I have started to experience a new issue that is as soon as I initiate the BT pairing activity my wireless connection gets dropped. Considering there may be a conflict between BT and WIFI, I even disabled the wireless and as discussed on various forums even changed the settings for wifi channel to 5.2g and tried to add BT devices but nothing happens except for dropping of the wifi connection as soon as BT pairing starts. I called Lenovo support and after discussion they even remotely connected to my machine and checked all the drivers and components but couldnt find any issues with the drivers nor any conflicts in the hardware components. They suspected that this is due to an MS update, whereas I suspect that the issue originated after the bios update version 1.66.2.01 or it ma... Read more

First I had a Turtle Beach XP 510 headset that about 8 months ago worked great. I don't use my headset all that much which is the reason for the 8 months without using it.
I go to try and use my headset to talk to someone via Skype but I could not get the headset to pair properly.
Over the next two weeks I worked with Turtle Beach tech support and nothing we did helped. So they RMA'd me a new PX51 unit (basically the same headset). This was extremely awesome because my old XP510 headset was out of warranty.
I get this new headset in today and try connecting it and I am getting the same issue as with my old XP510.
Here is the issue:
The headset gets audio through the connection to the base unit which is connected to the PC via optical cable. The headset connects to the base unit via wifi.
The unit is supposed to connect the mic to the bluetooth on my PC but when I try to pair it the only thing that is paired is the audio and not the mic, basically it removes the audio from the connection to the base unit and pairs the audio to the PC via bluetooth.
So I am thinking this is a windows issue and I need help troubleshooting it.
When the PX51 is paired with my PC it indicates that it is connected for "Audio Music".
When I go to the sound properties menu for playback and recording devices I have 3 options for the Turtle Beach headset and they are;
1. Playback tab

Greetings,

I have a dell inspiron e1505 laptop that I got in June 2007 and it came with Vista. I recently put Windows 7 Professional on it, and things appear to be working better than ever. Anyways, I got a rocketfish bluetooth keyboard model RF-ABTKB for Christmas and I have been having a rough time with it-- kind of makes me wonder why I don't just get a different one. But it makes a good puzzle for a tech at least.
When I go to add device, Windows begins searching for the keyboard. I push the connect button on the back of the keyboard and Windows detects it. Then a window comes up that has a number. I enter the number and press enter on the bluetooth keyboard and there is an obvious response as Windows moves on to the next steps and finishes installing it. However when I type anything on the keyboard it has no visible effect on the screen. The keyboard shows up under devices as "Rocketfish Bluetooth Keyboard." If I right click on the keyboard and go to properties, then Bluetooth tab, it looks like this at first:

After about ten seconds, the keyboard apparently disconnects and it changes to look like this:
So if I hit the connect button in the above window, I have to enter the numbers again and it does the same thing over.

I figure the problem could be with my bluetooth driver. My system has a Dell truemobile 355 Bluetooth + EDR module built in. Trouble is, windows 7 installs its own driver that overpowers any other ones I install, and when I delete it, ... Read more

Initialy the Mouse worked fine, untill, win 7 went into standby mode. When I went back into Windows, the Mouse would no longer work. Nothing I attempted would recover it. Switch Off, Switch On, Press ID Button to reconnect, nothing.
I Un Installed the Program and Drivers.
I then Re Installed and it worked fine, untill, and you know the rest of the story.

This problem seems to associated with win 7 going into Standby Mode and Recovery.

Does anyone have a clue about this Nasty.

Regards
Owen Carlton

Answer:Bluetooth Laser Mouse BT

Does the BT transceiver plug into a USB port? Check that the two options shown below are Disabled. The first is accessed from Device Manager under the USB Hub Properties. The second is accessed through the Power Options in the Control Panel then clicking on Change Plan Settings (for plan you use) > Change advanced power settings. There seems to be a common problem with USB ports after the PC goes into hibernation.

Hi, Do try:- force update BT drivers from Windows Update (Control Panel - device manager - select your BT adapter and in the driver tab check for online driver update- in BT settings turn off, wait a sec, then turn it back on- delete device and pair it again I had the same problem and this did it for me.

I am trying to pair my iPhone4 to my new Yoga 13. The Yoga 13 discovers the iPhone, pairing code confirmation is provided on both devices, and the Yoga 13 then installs the necessary drivers. However, no connection is established. The iPhone pops up a message that it can't connect to the Yoga when prompted to do so and then forces me to "forget" the Yoga. I assume this is caused when the Realtek Bluetooth driver package installs bad drivers for the iPhone on the Yoga. I've tried updating the Realtek wireless and Bluetooth drivers on the Yoga using this link: http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/0twb28ww.exe However, I am still getting the same error. I would love to wirelessly tether the phone to the PC so that the phone is automatically synced, etc. Any thoughts? Thanks! - Felix

I've tried to install a couple of different Bluetooth headsets (Motorola & Samsung) to my Latitude E6230 running Windows 7 Pro x64. It recognizes the headset and says it has been installed, but then searches for drivers that cannot be found and the device icon ends up with an error flag on them and it doesn't work. I have an internal Dell 380 Bluetooth 4.0 module with current drivers that tests fine. Any suggestions?

Answer:Bluetooth Pairing - Windows 7 Laptop

DUNCANMATHESON,
You should be able to pair the bluetooth speakers to your computer. Below are some links to help you get the speakers paired.
In Windows 7

Turn on your Bluetooth device and make it discoverable. The way you make it discoverable depends on the device. Check the device or visit the manufacturer's website to learn how.
Select the Start button

 > Devices and Printers.
Select Add a device > select the device > Next.
Follow any other instructions that might appear. Otherwise, you're done and connected.

Your Bluetooth device and PC will usually automatically connect anytime the two devices are in range of each other with Bluetooth turned on.

Hi,
These are the details::
Connecting The Bluetooth of an Android mobile with the Bluetooth of HP laptop didn't succeed
I have followed these steps to pair the the Bluetooth of my HP laptop, and the other Android Bluetooth.
First: I have clicked on 'add' a device'. Second, the Bluetooth of the Android mobile got shown. Then, I have connected to it. After that, 'Comparing pairing Codes' showed to me. (Screen shot below)
Next: Each Bluetooth's user of us accepted that confirmation. Finally: The pair was established well. (Screen shot below):

Although The Android Bluetooth was paired with my My HP laptop Bluetooth successfully, the Android Bluetooth is grayed out on my My laptop Bluetooth list as shown in this screen shot below:

Whenever I have clicked on the Android Bluetooth listed in my the Bluetooth devices, I received no Bluetooth control showed me(NO way to send files since Android Bluetooth is grayed out) Also, whenever the User who has the android mobile phone tries to send file into my laptop Bluetooth paired with his Android Bluetooth, he received an error not sending file.

My X1C 2012 model has been running perfectly with a Gigabyte GM-M7700B Bluetooth mouse - that was until the latest Lenovo Bluetooth driver upgrade.  ThinkPad Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) - ThinkPadVersion: 6.5.1.4500 This driver has introduced a double clicking issue with the left button of the mouse. I can't begin to describe how frustrating this problem is and the amount of work I have lost due to closing one page only to find that another program has also been closed. I have tired this mouse on my desktop, an Android tablet - no double clicking issue. The problem is not the mouse, after testing, the problem is not the internal Bluetooth module, the problem IS the new version of the Lenovo driver. It appears as though the driver is set-up that confirmation is set when the mouse button is pressed down - On contact. It also confirms when the button is let go - On release. This has nothing to do with the Broadcome Bluetooth module inside the X1C. I can turn off the Bluetooth module inside the X1C and plug in a Bluetooth receiver into one of the USB ports on the X1C and I can replicate the problem. This is a driver issue. I should also point out that I have uninstalled the Bluetooth driver and reinstalled it to get the same problem. I have tried to download the Bluetooth driver from Broadcom but this fails to install. It needs to be pointed out that the current Window 7 driver on ... Read more

Because we've had the machine for 2 years, it's very difficult to find any information on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated: I confirmed that we purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad EDGE 0301CTO with bluetooth -- but until now, we have not ever tried to use it. [We're running Windows 7 [64-bit] on it.] There is no Bluetooth Control Panel with which to add a device [in our case, a bluetooth mouse]. The only information I can find lists using the Fn+F5 key to access a window to enable it [yet, this was for a different model]. Using these keys doesn't bring up any such window. I would suppose adding a bluetooth mouse would be much less of an ordeal than this is becoming. I must be missing something. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Answer:Lenovo ThinkPad EDGE 0301CTO - Enabling Bluetooth and Adding Bluetooth Devices

Hi, musesupport

If you enter the BIOS of your machine by tapping Enter at the splash screen (screen that says Lenovo while starting up), there should be a tab called Security. Open this tab and then select I/O Port Access. Is there a Bluetooth setting in this list? If so, is it set to Enabled?

If the Bluetooth is set to Enabled, then I would recommend making sure all the drivers (Bluetooth, BIOS, and chipset, in particular) are up to date. All drivers for your machine can be found here.

Good luck, and let me know how it goes
Adam

I have two T61s running Vista Business 32 bit. One is at Vista SP2 and the other at SP1. As of 27 August 2009.the Lenovo BT mouse failed to be recognized. on the SP1 machine. All  drivers within Device manager have been checked to be at the most recent available., i.e. Bluetooth Radios, Human Interface Devices, Network Adaptors, Mice and Other Pointers.  The SP1 laptop's mouse is recognized by the SP2 laptop and is usable. The SP2 recognises the SP1 Laptop when positioned closeby. So therefore SP1 bluetooth capability is functioning in the mouse and in the SP1 laptop, but the SP1 laptop wil not recognize  either the Lenovo SP1 mouse or for that matter the Lenovo SP2 mouse. All Lenovo updates and Window updates have been performed on both machines. The SP1 laptop will not upgrade to SP2., but this is not believed to be the cause of this problem, as the mouse functioned correctly for several days after attempting the SP2 upgrade. I have run Lenovo Sytem Tool Box on the SP2 to see if there are issues. Lenovo Backup is a  'not been performed  for 100 days' "problem". And there is an L2CAP possible problem, which seems not to affect Bluetooth mouse function. When Bluetooth devices are tested with Lenovo System Tool Box and in normal use there is no problem.  I am about to run Lenovo Sytem Tool Box on the SP1 Laptop test to determine if there are any detectable problems....but it's getting late, and 10 hours ... Bluetooth issues can be caused by a myriad of permutations and if you're adventurous of affliced with obsessive compulsive disorder you may continue to flip ever possible combination of settings and finsih in about the same amount of time that thousands of scientists around the world took to map the human DNA strand. OR From reading your description, ensure you're actually  resetting the mouse after you successfully verified the BT mouse worked with Vista SP2. The manufacturers of BT devices are bombarded with worthy albeit annoying consumer complaints of why their BT peripherals have to be repaired with systems if offline or offline too long. The manufacturers have reacted by defaulting their devices into stickier mode so in your case...you may have actually fixed the issue but the BT mouse hasn't fully disconnected from the VISTA SP2 even if Vista says so (..you're trusing Microsoft to give an accurate reading???) and just disabling the BT adapter on your working vistaSp2 box hasn't necessarily disengaged the BT mouse from  groping for its old partner.Find the instructions included with the mouse to fully break device pairing since BT devices can still be sticky even with dropped batteries since a small flash ram chip is enough for a $40 BT mouse to remember partners and avoid your SP1 box. The next best practice, ...try BT connectivity with the native Windows utility and without  OEM software such as the BT application package that is around 8... Hi All (first post), System:Lenovo T520Windows 7Microsoft Bluetooth mouse Problem: Not working at all, or working only sporadically. History: Laptop is a bit over year old (warranty ends in June 2015 IIRC). The sales clerk recommended a bluetooth mouse, so I bought a Microsoft Bluetooth 5000. After the initial pairing difficulties were resolved, they worked swimmingly for about a year. Then I started more and more frequently having to re-pair them (remove device, let Windows find it again, pair them,...). As the mouse had taken a bit of beating, I bought another one a week ago. Didn't really help. The first time I asked Win7 to find the device, it couldn't. The Bluetooth radio was on, and the mouse had a fresh set of batteries, and all the other braindead suggestions of Win7 were eliminated. The bluetooth radio was working, because it detected the neighbors daughter's smartphone through a concrete wall, but not the mouse. I kept pressing the button in the bottom of the mouse that presumably makes it broadcast "I'm here". I moved to another room. This time detection and pairing up the device went fine. But after I had switched the laptop and the mouse off, and rebooted - nothing happened. I had to go through the remove/add device cycle again. Moving to a different room again. At first nothing. Then Windows finds the device, but gives the error code 0x800070015 (or something like that, not sure about the number of zeros), and fails to configure it. Any ... Read more

Sorry. The error code was 0x80004005. This is the code I get from Add Device ->, when I try to enter 0000 as the paring code (suggested by the mouse start guide. If I try to pari them without a code, Control Panel first indicates that the piece of Hardware was added ok, but it before I get any use out of the mouse, the freshly added pic of the mouse disappears. The red/green light on the mouse never stops blinking.

I purchased a brand new Lenovo ThinkPad SL510 a few months ago and I voluntarily purchased the three-year extended warranty because I had heard such great things about Lenovo's repair services and warranty services.  Many people had told me that the warranty services were top-notch and frustration free.  Not true so far in my experience.  First, the screen crack started out as a hairline crack.  I did not drop the laptop or in any way cause the problem.  It just appeared one day and then got worse.  I spoke with Lenovo and they sent me a box to send it to them for the repair, but then they sent it back to me unfixed.  They did not even attempt to fix the crack and told me that they would require my credit card number to repair the screen and that it would cost no less than $900.  This is nearly twice the price of the laptop itself as purchased new.  The Lenovo technician apparently thought that I had caused the crack in the screen and nothing I said could change the technician's false belief that the problem had actually occurred through no fault of my own and might actually be a manufacturer's problem.  I am not happy with Lenovo's handling of this matter so far and wanted to see if others had had similar problems.  Another problem is that if Lenovo does not fix the laptop, then I have a 2 and half year remaining warranty that I paid for that will now be for a laptop that does not even work.  I am now stuc... Question: Bluetooth pairing?

I have a Bluetooth headset I'm trying to get connected on Windows 7. I have a Bluetooth USB hub connected which seems to work fine. The headset can be seen, but when I connect it said no drivers found and fails.

I suspect part of the problem is that it's not asking me for a pair code. How do I enter the pair code in Windows 7? I know how I did it in XP, but I don't know in 7. The default pair code is 0000 and I need to enter that.

It's a PnP device so there are no drivers. This setup worked just fine in XP.

Answer:Bluetooth pairing?

Anyone have any ideas? I've seen the pair code window come up sometimes, but I can't figure out how to get it to come back up.

You enter the same code on both devices. In other words, you enter the code you see on the screen of your computer onto your phone. Once you hit Pair on the phone with the correct passcode entered, the devices will then pair.

I have a Lenovo e530c thinkpad, had no issues but over the past few months the bluetooth wont work and the wifi drops out and goes to "no internet" then comes back on after a couple mins. The laptop came with win 8 and I thought it maybe an issue with the operating system so I put Win 7 pro on and the issue is still there. From looking on the net the Intel pci card has a few connectivity issues. Mine is the N2230. If i try and reinstall the drivers i get the following error "no bluetooth device was detected please make sure your bluetooth device is plugged in". The card is firmly in and screwed down, looking on the net other people have similar issues but nobody can solve it!

I have Lenovo Thinkpad SL500 and i dont know, how to turn a bluetoorh on it. I didnt find any switches to turn it on.In have windows 7 ultimate and i cannot turn on my bluetooth in control panel. If anyone has a solution, then i would like to solve this problem for me. Greetings!

Answer:How to turn on a bluetooth on Lenovo Thinkpad SL500?

Hi and welcome to the forum!Press Fn+F5 - > Bluetooth radio - > Turn on. Hotkey driver must be installed in advanced to do this. Also, if you haven't installed Bluetooth driver then it needs to be installed too. Before installation, first make sure hotkey driver is installed , then go and press Fn+F5 to enable the Bluetooth, thereafter install the Bluetooth driver.Hope it helps.

I just got my Thinkpad Yoga 15 yesterday.  I have observed that whenever I connect my Sony bluetooth headphones to the computer, the Wi-Fi appears to quit working completely.  Has anyone else had this issue and what are some possible solutions?  This is kind of a deal breaker for me.

Hi, Starting July 26, there occurred some problems with the Bluetooth of both of my ThinkPad laptop, one is P70 and the other is X1 Carbon 4gen. The main issue is: every time I connect my Bluetooth mouse (Logitech MX Master) and/or Bluetooth game controller (Xbox one controller), after a random amount of time, they would disconnect automatically. And to re-connect them, I have to first switch off and then switch on the toggle controlling Bluetooth in ?Settings?->?Device?->?Bluetooth & other devices?. Even after re-connect, after some time, they would disconnect again. And here are a few other findings might be helpful:The time between connection success and connection failure is random. Sometimes, it can work well for 30min, sometimes it can only work for about 2sec.I tried upgrade the Bluetooth driver using windows and using the driver on Lenovo?s website, but this phenomenon still exists. I also tried to uninstall first, restart my laptop and reinstall again, but nothing works. It should be the problem of the mouse or controller because I connect them to my friend?s ASUS laptop and they work very well.BOTH of my Thinkpad laptop P70 and X1 Carbon 4gen got this problem at the SAME time (July 26). I only mailed the P70 so that I could still have another to use for now.Occasionally, when they disconnect, the buttons of touchpad malfunction too: Though I could still move the mouse pointer with my touchpad or TrackPoint, but when I clicked the l... Hi, I bought two "JBL Charge 2+" some time ago because of the low price at my local electronic store. These are overall really good portable speakes with great sound and build quality. Only thing is that I have two of these and I have to use them separetly because the JBL pairing app doesn't support older models. So I'm asking if you guys know any alternatives to the app so I will be able to use both speakers at a time through Bluetooth on phone. Thank you for any tips!

Phone: "Samsung Galaxy s7 edge (with newest android updates)"

to start off i would like to apologize in advance if i posted under the wrong subject. anyway, here is my problem. i have an asus g73jh republic of gamers laptop running home premium x64 and an asus eee pc 1015pn running home premium 32 bit. b4 i upgraded my eee pc to home i was running starter and was able to pair the 2 laptops via bluetooth and was able to control the media player from one computer to another. efectivly using one computer as a remote to the others windows media player. after i upgraded to windows home premium on my eee pc i have lost this funtionality. now i still have all the options to control my g73 on the eee pc but they dont work (they try to connect for a little while and then just switch back to saying disconected) and my g73 says that the eee pc is a computer but only gives the option to connect to it as a bluetooth headset. i have uninstalled and reinstalled bluetooth drivers on both machines and have tried drivers from asus website and drivers from windows update all with the same result. im hopping that someone will be able to help me with this because it was such a handy little thing to be able to do.

i am ready to post any information u need (just ask) and i'd like to thank you in advance for any help whatsoever

Thank you for your response.  It turns out that after I had downloaded the Bluetooth Atheros update 8.0.1.305  from the Acer.com site and unzipped it, it, I didn't install it properly.  Eventually I clicked on the Bluetooth Suite exe file and it installed the update into my computer and the speaker was able to connect.  Everything is working fine now.Marg

I recently got a Motorola MOTO G and I've been trying to use the bluetooth.I downloaded the lastest drivers from lenovo installed and when I paired the phone windows started searching for peripheral drivers and wouldn't find it, I tried troubleshooting but windows couldnt find the drivers.Altough the phone's folder showed at my computer I couldn't explore it and couldn't receive any file from my phone. I tried uninstalling the drivers and when paired altough I also couldn't find the pheripheral drivers, I was able to receive files from the phone and in the bluetooth icon tray showed the option to send file that wasn't there when lenovo's drivers were installed that also worked, so now I'm able to send/receive files to my phone but when I go to my computer I can't find my phone's folder so I still can't explore it. I hope I managed to be clear, sorry for any english mistakes

I'm on a quest inside the lovely world called Vista to try to pair my bluetooth headset with Vista so that I can use it as a microphone in games, and of course, I am encountering problem after problem completely due to Vista.

First, I checked out this fine link from Microsoft's web page that claims to answer my exact question. The problem? There is no damn folder called 'Hardware and Sound' in the control panel. The sound folder has nothing remotely close to bluetooth or anything to do with connecting bluetooth devices.

Second, I checked my onboard Vista help file using the trusty Start Menu. It looked a lot like the website, except this time it told me to look in the 'Printers and Other Hardware' folder in the control panel. The problem? THERE IS NO DAMN FOLDER CALLED PRINTERS AND OTHER HARDWARE. There is a Printers folder of course, and it even allows me to connect a bluetooth printer!!! Of course when I tried to connect my bluetooth device in the faint hope that I would have some options, it wouldn't even recognize it as expected. There is also an Add Hardware folder, and it even supports Infrared devices, but no bluetooth!

I've been using Vista for 3 days now and whenever I use a help file to figure something out on my own, I am given bogus information by Microsoft that points me in useless and pathetic directions that don't even exist. Can someone please give me some advice on how to connect my bluetooth headset to Vista so... Read more

I have 2 issues. 1. I am trying to pair a Bluetooth Headset (Plantronics Pro) to my laptop to use with some telephone software. The wizard sees it, pairs it but then fails on the Finish button (locks up wizard.) I can see the headset now in My Bluetooth Places but when I connect I get "The Device has Disconnected"  2. My co-workers who also have the T60 running Windows XP Pro SP2 don't even have My Bluetooth places even though I can verify they have Bluetooth turned on. Thanks!

I have a Dell Latitude E6410 that finds and apparently "connects" to my Rocketfish RF-MAB2 bluetooth headphones. However, the headphones never show up as a device in the sound/volume settings, so the computer plays sound from the speakers rather than the headphones. Any help will be much appreciated.

Answer:Bluetooth Headphone Pairing

I have experienced the same behavior using a rocketfish RF-MAB2 and Dell E6410 running windows 7 64 and 32 bit. Were you able to resolve the issue?

I got a Logitech DiNovo Edge keyboard, and I can't get it to work with the built in bluetooth in my x61s. When I search for bluetooth devices using my bluetooth tools, the keyboard pops up correctly. When I then connect to the keyboard, it prompts me for 7 random digits, which is a part of the keypairing process. The problem is: I can enter the 7 digits from my bluetooth keyboard, but when it's done, the keyboard disconnects again - as if I didn't enter them correctly. I have tried several times, and updated bluetooth drivers, but I can't get it to work.. Next I'm going to BIOS update. But it's strange, since I can both register the bluetooth device and type in numbers from it. It's simply the key pairing, which goes wrong. I hope someone can help me please!Message Edited by Ljorring on 12-17-2008 05:15 AM
