Preferred Solution: Lenovo X270 fan keeps running and very noisy

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Dear, I am an IT guy at a MNC and I ordered three X270 in Auguest from a Lenovo re-tailer.after I received them from the vendor, I noticed that I could hear loud fan noise that was usual compared to x250, 260 and even x270 that I purchased a few month ago while I was configuring outlook,. The 3 laptops have been making almost the same level of noise while it's running just windows.  I did not install anything and I ordered them with win 10 pro and outlook was installed as default. Users keep complaining about it cause they used to use x250 but it didn't make the noise like this. the bios update did not make a difference so I could help them so far. Today, I received a X270 that I ordered a few weeks ago from a different vendor and it's definitely making fan noise but it's a bit quieter than the above 3 laptops.  I searched about this issue in this forum and found nothing helpful so I am going to call Lenovo Service Center to send an engineer to compare the fan noise. If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know. I will also keep posted.

Hi I have purchased an additional external battery. On my battery monitor it shows Battey 1 and Battery 2 I believe it's referring to the actual battery and the external battery When I charge with the AC mains it says 50% charging. When I remove the AC charger it shows both batteries 100% charged Sorry it may be a stupid question but I am confused why it says 50% charge when I use the AC charger when both batteries are 100% charged Thank you

Hello everyone,I have an X230 and I need to upgrade the laptop to something with an i7 and 32GB RAM.I am very happy with my X230, but I have to change it. From the product page is looks like the X260/X270 have only 1 SODIMM slot. So, my question is: Is there any other slot hidden? Or I am forced to find another laptop (or even worse to go to HP or DELL) for such a thing? I need a very light laptop because I travel a lot and the X series is just perfect.

I've been having an issue with my X270 laptop since I bought it. The laptop is running Windows 10. What happens is randomly (this can take weeks, or days) the trackpad and pointing stick completely stops working. The only solution is to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them using an external mouse. I've tried various versions of the drivers, including the latest, and it still continues to happen. Any solutions to fix this?

I just bought a new toshiba pc i got it last thursday and when im just sitting at the desktop the fan just kicks into high gear constantly running and making noise and then after a few minutes it stops but it also starts back up making the same annoying noise minutes later is the fan suppose to be working so constantly? And the cpu temperature is constantly at 30 degrees or higher is that normal? even when i turn on the pc after its been off for a few hours its still in between the same temperature range that i mentioned earlier. also for example on this pc if i have firefox open and i have photoshop open or any other programs the screen brightness changes slightly dimmer when i switch from one program to another on its own. Im not sure should i take it back im thinking about doing that i cant take the annoying fan and the automatic switching of the screen brightness upon switching application windows is a little strange.

Answer:my fan is constantly running and is very noisy what do i do?

A constatly running fan usually means overheating or a defective fan. You said 30C or higher. The higher is the imporant part, as 30 is not too high

My pcs is constantly very loud when i play a game on a disc so much so that you cant play it its fan is constantly whirring! is there a way that i can cut down on the noise?? Thanks

Answer:Noisy PC when running games

You have to work out which fan it is, it could be the case fan if its connected to the motherboard or it could be the CPU fan or it could be the graphics card fan. Its obviously that its getting hotter when playing a game and in order to stop any damage its increasing the fan speed to compensate. You'll have to work out which fan it is and see if you can get a replacement.

My Tecra M3 PTM30E is 4 months old and I am beginning to find it unbearbable to use. The noise of the fan is a source of irritation to everyone at meetings and is nearly as loud as the overhead projector.

It never stops despite my best efforts at stepping down all processor activity. As I write this I only have one web browser open and it is running very loud and hot and giving me and those sitting near me a headache. I have heard many reports of this same problem.
How was this ever released?

Is there anything Toshiba can do about this, new firmware, drivers etc? I am ready to bin this laptop please help!

Jim

Answer:Tecra M3 running very noisy

Hi Jim

My opinion is that units are much louder than before. I use an older Tecra M1 and this unit is very, very quiet. My colleague has the same unit as you and it is much louder than mine.

The fact is that with new hardware architecture und newer mobile technology the units are much powerful than before but the disadvantage is that units produce more warmness and must be cooled more and more.

In your case I recommend you to use power saver settings and slow down the cooling method. I believe that on meeting you don?t need maximum performance and unit should run with lower CPU activity. On the left side you can see different profiles. Try to use profile called ?Presentation?. If the unit is still loud change the settings manually.

Sorry but I don?t see any other possibility to reduce the cooling fan speed.

Good luck!

Answer:Lenovo y50 fan very noisy

hi Gianluca,

Welcome to the Forums.

If the BIOS v3.03 update that was released to fix the high pitch/clicking noise (as discussed in this thread) doesn't work for you then it's likely that the fan is malfunctioning especially if this happens right after you power up the machine.

In this case, I would recommend you contact the lenovo helpdesk and report the problem as you may need to send the unit for service.

My new Portege Z830 has the noisy and almost always running fan issue that has been mentioned on here before.

Recommendations have been that one downloads bios 1.6. But I've checked and that version is already installed on my machine. I've also adjusted the power saving settings to battery mode as others have suggested. But that's made no difference,

Any other advice has been give in technical language way beyond this beginner.

If anyone has any suggestions that they could put into words of one syllable and step by step instructions, I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks.

Answer:Portege Z830 - noisy and almost always running fan

BIOS 1.7 is out so give that a try. I believe the cooling system is improved in 1.7

Hello, We have a problem with 2 laptops (ThinkPad X270) that "freeze" on the LENOVO logo when using Lenovo Ultra Dock with monitor Dell UZ2715H.Display Dell is plugged by Display port ports and one USB 3.0 (9 pin - used for display integrated webcam) connected to ThinkPad dock. When notebook turned ON with connected USB 3.0, computer freeze on LENOVO logo (To interrupt normal startup, press Enter) and work only when USB 3.0 disconected, or turned OFF and again Turned ON. Firmware on Dock is 2.33.000 Any suggestion?

Answer:Lenovo ThinkPad Ultra (Pro) Dock + ThinkPad X270 (20K6) + Dell UZ2715H

I am just going to guess that computer is trying to boot via USB, so you might try changing the boot order in the BIOS so that Windows Boot Manager or the HD is first.

Answer:lenovo z 570 noisy fan problem

Maybe you have some programs constantly using the CPU so that the fan has to spin faster to cool it down. On my Y-470, the fan is always on when plugged in, but it's inaudible even at the library and this only happens when the CPU is idling and the thermal management is set on super silent or standard mode. HD Flash videos and games will definitely make the fan spin faster and more audible, but it shouldn't be annoying. I recommend to download a CPU temperature monitoring program such as real temp to see what temperature the fan spins up faster. On my Y470, using the standard thermal management (AC plugged in), the fan is at the lowest speed at CPU temps less than 47 degrees Celsius. Then it kicks to 2nd gear at 50 - 70 degrees then 3rd gear from 70 - 79 degrees then max speed at 80 - 100 degrees Celsius. On Battery mode, the fan is completely off at idle then it starts to spin when CPU reaches 50 degrees Celsius.

Running XP Home with SP2

When running Spybot 1.3, the hard drive sounds like a buzzer going off. Uninstalled Spybot, then reinstalled it, but it still doesn't search without all the hard drive noise. Stopped it so it didn't wreck my hard drive. On another system it works OK. Any ideas?

Answer:Hard Drive very noisy running Spybot

Don't blame Spybot, all it is doing is searching the drive.

If the drive is abnormally noisy (some brands make more noise than others when normally operating) then consider that it may be failing.

Hi, this is my first post in this forum. So I just bought this IdeaPad V310-15ISK model a week ago and it really seems like a solid budget laptop, except for one thing, the fan will sometimes make this noise that sounds like the fan is about to run at full speed but only last like 2 seconds, it happens randomly like every 30 minutes or hour and it's really annoying. It has been doing this since the beginning. The laptop came without an OS so I installed Windows 7 x64 on it, but it also happens with other operating systems like Linux. Is this a normal thing of this model? or is just a problem of my laptop? what can I do to fix it?

Hi, I recently bought a Lenovo G530. I have read in reviews that it should be quiet and thereby suitable for silent environments. But my G530 is NOT silent! The fan seems to run on timed intervalls rather than temperatur. It runs about every minute at a low but quite noticable speed. I only use Explorer and Office-applications - no gaming for me. I use Windows Vista. I have updated the BIOS with the Lenovo program installed when new. HOW CAN I FIX THIS? WHAT COULD BE WRONG? Please help. If i can not make it more silent, I will have to return it. BRKristoffer

Answer:Lenovo Ideapad S400T with a noisy fan

hi JTamayao,

Welcome to the Forums.

Regarding the fan being noisy, are you hearing:1. A wind noise? - If it is, this is normal as faster fan speed causes wind noise on the vents (this usually happens if you're getting unusual heat and the fan spins at a faster RPM to eliminate it).
2. A grinding / rattling noise? - this indicates that the fan is struggling - (it's possible that the fan is dirty or is defective and needs to be replaced). You may need to contact lenovo for service.

Hi,I have had my Lenovo 3000 N200 for a week now. So far im happy with it. But ive noticed how the fan goes in intervals up and down very often. Have you noticed this also? Read about it in a review http://www.notebookreview.com/defaul...ew=Lenovo+N200 where it is described as the fan has "ADHD".Sometimes (like now) Ive heard the fan go constantly (not max but still going so you can hear it) for about half an hour.I guess its manufactured that way... or do you think its bad or wrong if it goes up and down like that? This is my first laptop so I dont have any experinces regarding this area.Since this is my first laptop Ive no experience regarding how much the fan should go/sound. But is it normal that you can hear it while youre working at your computer? The machine was pre-installed with Vista and i have tweaked it a little but still its not a very good OS for this machine I can tell.I have plans on installing XP (saw on Lenovos homepage that its compitable with XP) and I have read about it on forums something about that you have to creat a install disc with SATA-drivers.ThanksEkano

Answer:Noisy fan on Lenovo 3000 N200

HiIt is normal to hear the fan running, it shouldn't be loud but a wooshing sound is normal.Window Vista does a lot of background stuff (far too much in my opinion) so your laptop runs hot.  The fan will hardly be on with Windows XP (make sure you select the Portal/Laptop power scheme in XP to get even cooler running). To slip stream the ACHI drivers for SATA you will need the F6 install files from Intel, the Intel Storage Matrix driver page has info about getting these files.  To slip stream them into Windows XP Google for NLite. The easiest way though is to go into the BIOS and set the hard-drive to Standard IDE, install Windows XP, then install the Intel Matrix drivers, reboot and set the BIOS back to ACHI.  There isn't really much difference in performance between standard and ACH I modes.RegardsPhil

I just bought the Yoga 910... and it's a pretty decent ultrabook.. has good battery life... But immediately, the first thing I noticed is this FAN NOISE ISSUE. I saw there are also Yoga 910 owners who posted on Reddit and other sites with the same issue. Lenovo: WILL YOU FIX THIS PROBLEM OR NOT? IF you fix it.. I will keep the laptop..but if not I'm gonna have to return it to the store. So please let people know. The fan is TOO loud. Even doing small tasks like a few browser tabs open.. or a Skype call causes the fan to kick in and VERY NOISY. Everytime I restart the computer, etc. the fan is TOO NOISY. Hoope to read your reply soon.

Hello,  I am using 3000 N100 0689-6TA Note Book and my warranty got expired on 29-07-2007. I am getting a very poor quality and low volume of sound from my Notebook speaker and when I tried to connect with USB TV Tuner card since then I am getting an extra sound along with the TV channel sound, it produces some noise kind of sharp sound. It is very irritating to hear. I have to make mute to avoid this. If I connect to headphone then the clarity of the sound is good and there is no noise in the sound, I can listen clearly. After using the TV Tuner card this problem starts. Can you please tell me the reason why I am getting such noisy sound every time and even restart of notebook also doesn?t work? Is there any specific reason? Please help me.   Thanks,Biresh

Answer:Getting a sharp noisy sound from my Lenovo Notebook speaker.

Looks like there is a drivers' conflict between your  in-board Audio card and USB TV tuner.  Perhaps, there are  new drivers for the audio card and the TV tuner from the internet that can correct the problem. It would be good to try to install new drivers and see what happens.

Hi, I would like to ask everyone with this model in particular. Mine is less than a year old. I noticed at times that the CPU Fan would "whine-up" and would make this high-pitch noise like the CPU is on full-load. I have read that it could be a sign of a failing CPU-Fan or other issues with the motherboard. I checked the temperatures, everything are within normal parameters, and even ran a diagnostic test using the native Lenovo Vantage App, but it didn't find anything unusual.  Note: It doesn't constantly makes noise, just at random, sometimes even during tasks like openning a browser or just browsing through my files.

The DirectShare app gives directions on how to install DirectShare on the other system but it does not make it clear whether or not WinXP systems are supported.  Anyone know?  If not is there a comparable freeware app that does this?  Thanks.

My g580 ran out of battery while using it, and now it gets stuck on the lenovo logo. I tried a different hard drive which changed nothing, I've tested both hard drives on a different computer and they both work. However when I boot the laptop with no harddrive it will get past the logo go to a screen saying something about an unplugged cable then reset and get stuck on a blank screen.   If I plug in my windows recovery usb drive( and no harddrive) the the machine will boot normally and go to the windows installation screen. So any ideas on why a working harddrive would stop the system from booting? Also I've tried the whole taking out the battery unplugging it holding down the power key and then plugging it back in thing, did nothing.

I am totally disappointed with Lenovo product as it has brought me much trouble and waste my time! I would try to share my bad experience as many people as possible!

Hello, I have a Laptop Lenovo X270, model 20K5S11F00 and I want to install Windows 7 (64 bits) on it, could that's possible?I can't boot on my Windows 7 installation CD.... Thanks

Answer:X270 Windows 7 64bits

Hey, yes that's possible. You have to install Win7 from a USB device or via network. Required for this installtion is a patched Win7 installer with USB3.0 and NVMe support. But just to know for you, Microsoft stoped the support for Intel seventh (7th)-generation processors (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4012982/the-processor-is-not-supported-together-with-the-wi...). Nevertheless all drivers are avaivilable and working.....it's really annoying that Microsoft is forcing the people to Win10 that way.... CheersTom

Hi folks! Would appreciate some input...Am moving from an old x120e (which runs windows 10 and works perfectly, except that I have gotten tired of its relatively weak processor (E-350 AMD) after 5 years) to the x270. Haven't bought it yet, but it is my target laptop. My question is primarily about build quality. As someone said in a different forum/thread, the x120e is built like a tank, albeit a small one. I fully agree. How is the x270? Is it as tough/tougher? I know the x270 is overall head and shoulders above the x120e in terms of display (I'm aiming for the FHD), processor (i5-7xxx), TPM security, etc etc. So my question is really only about how well it is built. Has anyone bought it?(a) How's the shake, rattle, flex, creak, and bend, if any. My only Thinkpad benchmark for build qual is the x120e and that one is Rock solid (capital R).(b) Does it run cool? I had to redo the thermal paste on the x120e after which it has behaved admirably for 4 years. I expect the x270 is quieter and cooler. Is this correct? Many thanks.

Any owners of the X270 with the NVME drives, how fast are they, and do you know who's the OEM? (Samsung, Intel, etc).

Hi all, I got a X270 here that has been freezing a few seconds every so and on and it is giving me headaches. The symptom is screen freezes for a few ~ 10 seconds but mouse and keyboard inputs are accepted. After the freeze is resolved, all inputs are shown. The frequency varies; 3 times within an hour or non in a day. Happens at least once a day. Googled it, came across the term "generic freeze" but the solution given didn't solve mine.  I've read about turning off Link Power Management. Check, still happensRead about ESET conflicting with Windows Defender. Defender is disabled, check. Still happens. Anyway, here are the specs: OS: Win 10 Pro x64 English Build 16299 (1709 Fall update) (US)Core: i7 7600U 2.8GHz (Don't know if overclocked or not, did not touch any CPU settings)Storage: SAMSUNG NVMe 256GB, factory item- Model: SAMSUNG MZVLW256- Firmware: 4L7Q, Lenovo storage device firmware update utility says it's the latest versionWWAN: Sierra Wireless EM7430 LTERAM: 16GB x1, factory item All updates are patched. I ordered this custom model online from Lenovo Japan, but there's this few second freeze happening straight when I first received it. I've sent it back for check ups and repairs for three times already, and the repair reports came back the following: 1. Issue acknowledged, reproduced, replaced the faulty SATA-NVMe (or the cable that connects NVMe to motherboard) cable2. Issue acknowledged, reproduced, replaced the faul... Read more

I never had problems imaging Lenovo Laptops, so we got a X270 as a demo and i put Windows 10 Enterprise on there, enabled the chip in bios and it is using TPM 2.0 which is the only difference compared to T550, T450 and P50 i had image. Whenever i try to start bitlocking (encrypting the drive) i'll put in a pin number, recovery is stored in Active Directory but as soon as it restarts I get the following error: "The BitLocker Encryption key cannot be obtained. Verify that the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is enabled and ownership has been taken. If this computer does not have a TPM, verify that the USB drive is inserted and available. C: was not encrypted" I can't think of anything else to fix this. Since this is a 30 day demo trial, we might as well send it back. We have NVME for HPS which I am able to put our image on and bitlock with no issues. I can't believe I don't see much online about this. I can't be the only one. Any suggestions much appreciate it.

Hi, I have a new X270 laptop running Win10 update 1703. When it is connected to power, it disconnects from our vpn every 10 minutes (almost to the second). The machine is running with the performance power policy and I did not find anything in there to indicate why the vpn gets disconnected. We have many users using the vpn and this is the only machine to exhibit this behavior. BUT, when the machine is running on battery, the problem goes away. The user of this machine is getting very frustrated and given that she is not local, onsite diagnostics are not easy. Any ideas what is going on with this. It is very bizarre. Let me know if more information is needed. Thanks. Rich.

Hi Scutu The X270 is an older model PC, but as you're running Windows 8 successfully, it SHOULD upgrade to Windows 10. You can: 1. Image your hard drive, so if Windows 10 causes problems you can return exactly as it was, many weeks after upgrading   or 2. Upgrade to Windows 10. you can revert back to Windows 8 by going to Settings>Update & Security>Recovery. Follow the on screen instructions. There is a 30 day limit to do this.

It seems that Lenovo has released today first infos of upcoming models including X270: http://www.anandtech.com/show/10940/lenovo-updates-the-thinkpad-lineup-new-models-welcome-changes I have been postponing laptop purchase because I want one with QHD or better resolution, thunderbolt3 and ability to charge with standard USB type-C charger. Now it seems that for some reason that I cannot understand Lenovo has still decided not to include QHD or QHD+ resolutions to quite many of the upcoming models, including X270, Yoga 370, Thinkpad 13 and T470. It is now already 4.5 years ago from the moment when Apple Released Macbook Pro retina with QHD equivalent resolution. In addition some of the articles claim that the new USB type-C port in X270 will NOT have thunderbolt3 availability. And it is like 5.5 years since Apple included thunderbolt. I really think we should start noise from this. If there will not be a serious portable workstation like X270 with QHD or better resolution and enough USB-slots (at least 3+1) and thunderbolt support I am seriously considering to switch away from Lenovo (e.g. Dell XPS 13). I know that some people prefer FullHD (e.g. for longer battery life) so there could be an option for both. I want QHD because 1. If you want to have two web browsers side by side without horizontal scroll bars you will need minimun QHD, 2. Because you can actually start to see details in pdf books without zooming 3. Because you can have large amou... Read more

I just received a new x270 and it's working very well. I ordered it with the larger 6cell 47Wh Rear battery. That works best when I'm on the road and have no access to AC power. But I'm often using it plugged in and the unit would be lighter and lay flatter without that larger rear battery bulge. Does anyone know what the part number is for the 3 Cell Li-Ion Rear Battery (23.2Wh)? I've searched the Lenovo website and have not found it listed as a part that can be ordered. Thanks, Russell

Answer:Cant install Win10 T470p and x270

Hello and welcomeI can't explain the reason of error, sorry for that. It seems the installation log is needed to inspect but it might be difficult enough task. Why didn't you install Creators Update via Windows System Update, using Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant? I've perfomed that task on T470p from factory version 1607 to 1703 without any issue:- SU has installed update 3150513 (probably, update 4013214 is needed too but not in my case)- I didn't wait the offer from SU to perform the auto-updgrade to 1703 and open new link appeared in Windowss Settings -> Update to load and launch Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant- then the OS updgrade has been done successfully.Lenovo image preloaded on T470p is almost clear from OS preinstalled junk (it's a Signature Edition) and Lenovo apps except of needed settings metro application. So, there isn't so many reasons to install Creators update from the scratch.

HiI am trying to build an x270 from a bootable ISO. I click Custom install but get no drives found at the "where do you want to install windows" stage. The full message is "load driver to provide a mass storage driver for installation" I guess this is due to the SSD driver missing but not sure how to find the correct driver, whether or not I need to inject it into the ISO, or even how to do it. Anyone done this before please!!! Thanks

I want to put a second SSD in the WLAN slot, but I am struggling to find clear specifications as to what can be fitted. I don't have hands on experience but based on these documents that SSD won't work.

First, the 2nd SSD goes in the WWAN slot - presuming you don't have WWAN or WiGig already.  The WWAN slot doesn't support NVMe, and isn't that physical size.

http://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF/ThinkPad/ThinkPad%20X270/ThinkPad_X270_Platform_Specificatio...

"Some: 128GB M.2 SSD / SATA 6.0Gb/s, in WWAN slot as 2nd Storage,
mutually exclusive with WWAN and WiGig"

Looking at the HMM, the SSD tha would fit is 2242 SATA.

Hardware Maintenance Manual - ThinkPad X270

The SSD you linked is 80mm NVMe and could go in the primary slot - with proper frame and cable - but not in the WWAN slot.

Z.

I'm using a fairly new X270 (about two months old) with Windows 10, machine type 20HNCTO1WW.  Yesterday, as far as I could tell, my Bluetooth suddenly stopped working.  By "as far as I can tell", I mean that my only reason for using Bluetooth is an audio receiver connected to my stereo; so I don't have any other devices to check it with.  (Before I go any further, I'll add that the receiver still works fine with my three-year-old Yoga.) Basically, my music stopped playing.  I tried restarting my computer and reconnecting to the device.  In nearly every instance, my X270 was unable to reconnect with the receiver.  In the two or three instances when it did reconnect, it played music briefly--no more than thirty seconds--and then abruptly stopped. The only thing out-of-the-ordinary going on during this time was that within a few minutes of the problem's appearance I got a notice from Lenovo Update stating that an update was ready.  Lenovo Companion shows that it installed - Intel Management Engine 11.8 Firmware - 7 [32,64]/8.1/10 [64] - V.11.8.50.3425- Intel 8265 Wireless LAN Driver - 10 [64] - V.19.71.1.1 As for how far along these updates were when they were announced, who knows?  The process by which Windows alerts me of its updates is still a bit opaque to me (I haven't had too much time to investigate it yet), and I'm not sure how far that might extend to Lenovo's updates. Anyway, if anyone has any insight or ... Hi I bought a Thinkpad X270 two days ago (MTM 20HM0007MY). I thought it had two batteries installed, one internal and one 6 cell external cylindrical battery. However, when I go to my power options it says Battery 1 Not Present:                I am rather confused. Should there not be an internal battery as well? Thanks Montakim

Please look in Device Manager -> Network Adapters to find the Intel wireless adapter.  Then double-click on it and go to the Driver tab.  What is the version of the driver?

Answer:X270 Bitlocker requests recovery key every time

Not much help here, but we are having the same issues as yourself, corporate Image using Windows 10 everyboot will prompt for a BitLocker key, working fine for all other models just the X270 / T470 I suspect something in the BIOS is causing this, but not sure what exactly. Regards Stewart

Upgraded to Windows 10 64bit Pro, but the graphics card is not installed. The default Microsoft driver does not render the display at the correct resolution and display is unreadable as some colours are missing. Tried the Vista 64bit driver from Acer website but that does not seem to install. Computer asks to reboot but I am still on the broken Microsoft driver. I thought I could use the Nvidia geforce g210 Windows 10 driver 64bit but that says it cant find compatible hardware... Any help appreciated...

Answer:Veriton X270 graphics driver windows 10

https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/862957/nvidia-geforce-7100-nvidia-nforce-630i-windows-10-no... download thishttp://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/82758 initially, the resolution was very bad, and I checked in Control Panel, Video Device Driver, I noticed that the standard video driver of microsoft was installed, even though the GeForce driver was still in the Installed Programs. Then I ran the above Geforce driver and the problem of the resolution was solved.
