I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi!

My EPSON STYLUS PHOTO RX620 which was working fine before has now decided to display a 'printer error occurred - please see documentation' message. When I checked the user manual, it suggested i switch off, then on again and if that didn't work (which it didn't!) to contact my dealer.

I had just replaced the ink cartidges, so I've given them a check over to see if anything was wrong there, but I don't see anything out of the ordinary, and I can't see or feel any jammed bits of paper.

If anyone has any ideas about how to sort this out, I'd really appreciate the help

Lately this printer/scanner has been giving my fits. I've had this unit about 2 1/2 years and don't use it a great deal. The problems lately I have been able to correct. This morning I was printing out something and it was working fine. After about the 5th page the printer stopped and the following message came up. "Service required. Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life. See your printer’s documentation for details." I can't find documentation and try uninstalling the printer then reinstalling it. Same message. Is there something I can do to rectify this.

Did nozzle check and printout showed only bottom 3 lines and 4 scattered tenths of lines for magenta - other colours OK. Did head clean and checked again - same result. Changed the cartridge and repeated the above procedures - same result. It makes no difference whether the printer is connected to the computer or not. Any ideas or suggestions please.

I've connected an Epson RX620 printer to a PC running Windows 98 via a recently installed USB 2.0 card. Can't remember the card make but I have a VIA Tech 3038 USB 2.0 Host Controller installed if that makes any sense. It is a 4 port card and I've a mouse and camera working off it without any problem. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Can anyone advise where I can get a Vista (64 bit) printer driver for the Epson RX620 so I print from my Dell laptop. I have followed the instructions that appear on the Epson downloads & drivers site as follows;

<Description: Windows Vista drivers for this model are included in the Vista operating system. To install, simply power-on and connect your Epson product to your computer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Compatible Systems: Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows Vista 64-bit>

Having follwed the search instructions there does not appear to be any suitable driver available either on the C drive or the Drivers & Utilities disk ('already installed on your computer') which came with the laptop.

As expected, the Epson CD which came with the printer (a number of years ago) does not include a driver for Vista.

Thanks,
Al.

I am running windows XP home on a Dell Dimension 8200, with 768 MB of Ram, a Pentium 4, 2.00Ghz, Bios A09. I run Norton Internet Security and Webroot Spy Sweeper. My drive "c" has 107GB of free space.

I have tried installing an Epson Stylus RX620. The computer accepts the software, but as soon as I connect the printer by USB, it crashes to the Blue Screen.

I get the usual verbiage, from "A problem has been detected" right down to the point where it reads: "STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x00000000, 0xF7C9A90C, 0xF739A608), with no further explanation or identification of the error.

I have no problem re-starting and getting into Windows.

I contacted Epson, who first told me to install without Norton and Spy Sweeper running; I did, plugged in the printer, hit test print and crashed.

They then said to go in, thorugh MSCONFIG use selective startup and reboot, then turn on printer. I did and crashed.

Rebooted and removed software.

They then told me to go into the BIOS and change USB Emulation to "No Boot" (which doesn't exist, I chose off) and to dis I reobooted, able USB Legacy 2.0, which was not there.

I rebooted, reinstalled the software, plugged inthe USB cable to the printer, and crashed.

Any suggestions?

Answer:XP Home - Connect Epson Stylus RX620, get Blue Screen of Death

What happens if you just reboot with the printer plugged in? Just leave it in all the time.

The only reason Epson tells you to do all their crap and then plug in the printer is so that the drivers will already be on your local hard drive so XP shoudl find the drivers when the printer is connected. So since you've already done that step, just restart with the printer already connected and on.

I've had the printer for a few years, and only recently noticed a problem with the black ink - namely, it isn't printing any. Check patterns come up blank, even after a few cleaning cycles. I've tried cleaning the printhead manually using alcohol wipes, but it's not had any effect. Where do I go from here?
In a secondary note, while sorting this out the printer has decided that two of the cartridges (both about 2 hours old) are now empty and need replacing. Is there any way to make it think again, or has the cleaning attempts really drained the ink that fast?

Answer:Epson Stylus SX400 ink jammed/emptying cartridges

I have a SX205 and why I haven't thrown it in the bin yet I'll never know! when one cartridge runs out I invariably end up changing all four before I can get the thing printing again. It will definitely go as I'm on my last set of cartridges.
You'l have to change the black and remove and refit the others then it might work again.

Epson stylus photo R x 620.
I have had this robust printer for eight or nine years and am reluctant to part with it as I am advised that later versions are far less well built. I have now changed my computer which is running Windows 8.1. When I tried to install the printer I got a message is that there was a compatibility issue. The windows troubleshooter returned no result and I tried to install without resolving the issue. (As advised by Epson support website).
The printer appears in Control Panel but when I tried to print or scan, the printer is not recognised and I'd get the message that the scanner is not ready. I have tried Updating the driver which I believe maybe the problem. I have used the windows driver wizard without success and cannot find a driver for this model on the Epson support site.
Curiously, when I right-click on the Printer in control panel, I can test the scanner and get the message that the device successfully completed the test! I can also get a preview and scan but he document form here but cannot make any adjustment
Further from "customise your Printer" I was able to print a windows test page which produced a host of information about the Printer including "driver version 6.1 0.6385 0.0. There is also a list of additional print driver files. I can also get a print dialogue from File/print but without, for example, an option for print preview.
Can anyone help please?

Answer:Epson Stylus 750 Photo

If you have ever wondered where all the ink goes when you perform a head clean all you have to do is unscrew the bottom plate. Underneath you will find a 1 inch thick felt pad that covers the whole of the underside of the printer and thats where it stores all of the lovely expensive ink that makes Epson lots of money.

Hello. I just installed XP 64-bit and to my frustration there are no drivers for my printer. I am considering doing a Vista 64-Bit install, but I am afraid that I may run into the same problem. Epson's site says the drivers are "In-Box" which they say means, and I quote:

"Drivers are included with Windows Vista. Just connect your Epson product to your computer and follow the on-screen instructions that Windows Vista displays to guide you through driver installation."

But Vista site has a question mark as to whether it is compatible. Can someone please advise if my printer is compatible and if Vista 64 has drivers. Also if so how do I install correctly. TIA.

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo 825

Unfortunately they do not state whether it'll have 64-bit support or not. And looking under the driver downloads sections shows no support for Vista. - Epson Stylus Photo 825, Drivers & Downloads - Technical Support - Epson America, Inc.

You'll have to use the CD as stated here - Epson America, Inc. - Support - Highlights. It "might" have 64-bit drivers??? Your other choice is to give Epson's tech support a call.

The fact that you have issues under XP x64, and the Vista compatibility chart lists a question mark lends creedence that your printer is probably not supported under Vista x64. But...like I said before, you can always try.

Do take note that even though there is a question mark under Vista 32, Epson states that the drivers are on the disk, so...??? Windows Vista Compatibility Epson Stylus PHOTO 825

Will this matter?Pressing the right hand button gives no response. Thanks for any helpBarneydog

Answer:Epson stylus photo 830

Yes, this will have altered the alignment of the printer head, and correct parking of same. What you can try, and it should work, is to do the following.Turn on printer, and leave on, remove the power plug from the rear of printer, wait a few seconds and replace the plug. With a bit of luck you should now hear a grinding noise as the drive belt slips over the print head to reset itself. If this happens, give it a printhead clean from the software and it should be ok and working fine. Good luck, this has worked for many users of Epson printers in the past.

.... it has worked on other computers

My oporating system : xp pro
RAM : 512mb
processor pentium 4 3.06ghz
graphics card : 256mb ram nvidea

This sould be more than enough to handle a printer.

I have also tryed re installing windows from scratch and trying to then install the printer, i still get the same result.

Cable works, Printer Works , no paper jams etc,Brand new+working cartridges, installed drivers...

What should i do?????????/ help plz

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo 900

Try another USB-port. See if you have both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0.
If you use a hub, put the cable directly in the PC, it might not get enough 'juice'.

I am using the above printer in Windows ME on a Pentium III 533MHz with 256 Mb Ram. The printer works fine if I leave it to print and wait until it finishes. However if I try to use another piece of software or go on the net it stops printing. I can't find a way to start it printing again it just seems to hang there with 12% or whatever of the picture printed. I use Photoshop 6 but also have the same problem using Epsons own printing software called Photoquicker. Any ideas guys.

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo 830

i had the same problem, to cure it i plugged the usb cable into one of the usb ports on the back of the computer, instead of it being plugged in to my usb hub even though it was a self powered one. this seems to have cured the problem.

Hi
I have been happily using this machine for some years with no problems but yesterday I tried to print a CD label and it failed to work.
The ink and paper feed lights are both flashing red and the "On" light is not lit. The status monitor reports "General fault" The notes and instructions that came with the machine are not very helpful.
When switched on the machine goes through its usual actions of checking the ink flow and the carriage moves across the platen then the warning lights come on.
Searching on the net I found one article which stated the printer had an internal counter which made the machine inoperable when a certain number of sheets had been printed, requiring servicing and resetting of the counter by an Epsom repair shop. The writer of the article also offered for sale a CD with software to reset the counter. Could this have anything to do do with with this?
Any suggestions or help would be gratefully received.
regards
phil

I am thinking of buying the above printer as I have heard it is fantastic for printing photos.Which is what I want it for.The thing that worries me is that I have heard several reports that the ink heads keep clogging up and that you have to run the head cleaning utility frequently, which wastes a lot of ink.Does anyone have one of these who could let me know of their experience of this problem and also if you use compatable inks and their quality as opposed to originals. Thanks any advice would be much appreciated as I don't want to buy a pup!!!

Answer:EPSON STYLUS PHOTO 830

yes i've had this printer now for about a year. I've gone through 3 changes... I usually print out cover sheets (photos) for my projects in full colour on Epson Premium Glossy Photo paper, i paid £11.99 for a pack of 20 sheets.I think the clogging occurs when the printers not used for a while and the ink dries up. It gives really good quality prints though, especially photo's. I think for the price it's one of the best you'll get.

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo R300

You say you've created many files but if you can't find them then how do you know you've still got them?Entering *.ec3 into the Windows search box will find them if they exist - on my PC it throws up hundreds. If you've already uninstalled the Print CD software then you've probably already got rid of them if you didn't change the default storage location which is C\Program Files\EPSON Print CD.

My Epson 960 has 6 cartridges. It set without being used for a couple weeks (it has been longer in the past and worked fine) and now won't print. I used the "clean head" button several times, only 3 of the cartridges will print and they only print about 50% on the "check nozzle" button. What would make all of them dry out at once? A couple of the cartridges were new at the last printing. I have always used official Epson cartridges if that makes any difference.

Thanks for any input.

Dear Bruce,

Thank you for contacting Epson. I'm sorry to know that you are having difficulty printing with your Epson Stylus Photo R300 due to an expended ink cartridge.

However, the printer will not operate if any cartridge is expended or removed. It is best to always have extra cartridges on hand.

Epson printers contain a permanent print head that needs to be charged with all colors to work... Read more

Lol, sorry, it's probably time to replace it. I've tried taking some apart, I think there is a little mesh type pad that you can try to clean....but............I think that was probably about $150 when you bought it, and you can probably replace it for $50 or less and get the color cartridge and black cartridge which cost more to purchase separately???????

You could try this click here it might work, the cleaning cycle on it is much more powerful that the standard Epson one and as such it uses more ink. But it might clear it.I found one Epson that was supported it did not work on and another it did work on and helped.Theres no harm in trying it.If it doesn't work then personally I would just get a new printer. Some people could perhaps provide you with info on dismantling and repairing but I tried it a few years ago and gave up.

I have a problem with my printer. It was working fine and I had to replace a color cartridge which I did with a compatible cartridge. It still worked. Answer:Epson Stylus Photo R300

Where did you purchase the cartridge from? If you bought it online, I hope you bought it from a recognizable name, because in recent years there have been alot of issues with companies selling supposidly compatible cartridges that turned out to be nothing more than counterfeits of the real thing.

Hi, quick question, and i really need a quick answer.

I'm about to purchurse a new printer - which i mainly need for fast, quality printing of my assignments and coursework.

I've come across Epson C84, having been a fan of the c82 series (apart from when it was discontinued).

Anyway I just wanted to know if there was any big difference between the 2 printers C84 and C84 Photo edition. they seem very similiar in price, is there any difference between them?

COst of ink, ink use? is the photo edition just an upgraded version of the C84, and if so would it better for me to purchease that?

Answer:Epson Stylus C84 or C84 Photo edition?

hope this reply isn't too late.

I have an EPSON C84 Photo myslf, it comes with a USB memory card reader for digital cameras and things.

It also came with a pack of A5 (or something similar sized) glossy photo paper, whether or not this is unique to the photo edition I don't know.

I have a problem with the above old printer. Everything was working ok until i changed the colour cartridge to a recycled one a few months ago. The ink first started fading so i took it out and gave it a shake then cleaned the print head etc. But now i go to print and the paper is blank i just wonder if there is any way to get it actually printing?
The lights for the cartridges are not lit up so i assume cartridges are not empty but i am not sure how to get it printing again or if the recycled cartridge has messed up the printer for good.
Any advice would be great!

Got a Epson Stylus photo R360. Suddenly have a message on the printer "Waste Ink Pad saturated" Printer is still in fine shape except this has now locked it out. Disturbingly the general consensus on line seems to be its not worth fixing, just buy a new printer. Seems extreme to me as this printer is not that old and otherwise in perfect condition. My main requirement is a printer that prints directly onto CD's and DVD's and photographs

Any suggestions

For several weeks when printing I've been getting a "Communication Error" message on about 50% of the times. The cables are properly connected and despite the message the printer has performed perfectly - until tonight. It started by cutting off the top of a picture, then printed half the picture on one sheet of paper and the other half on a second sheet, then it only printed the top inch and now it will not accept data from Windows or PictureIt.How canI get it back under control?

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo 890 problem

It gets worse......Every time I try to send text to the printer the text programme freezes. The on/off light on the printer flashes and the maintenance one shows a steady red light. The print queue has nothing in it.

After much thought and wallet searching I've actually bought my new printer - oh joy it arrived this morning. Frantically ripped the box open, read the blurb, (well skimmed it really),assembled the machine - mind u have a couple of parts that seem spare. Put the disc in the cd and all went swimmingly with the wizard till i put the ink cartridges in, I could move no further. Phoned Epsom and they talked me thro some checks and guess what - Ive got a faulty machine. Why do I always get the Friday afternoon or Monday morning cobble together or do others have the same problem. Mind u the technician is coming tomorrow sometime between 9am and 6pm Oh happy day.

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo 950 printer

I think the ink cartridges should have gone in first and the software installed before connecting the printer, this is maybe where you went wrong. Don't worry though you will be amazed at the quality of the printer when it's set-up to morrow. j.

My Epson Photo Stylus 890 has suddenly started to add a transparent yellow layer to all print jobs. The nozzle test print out indiacates a problem with the yellow nozzle. I have tried numerous cleanings, a new cartridge (always Epson) and new driver software. The printer is connected with a USB cable via a hub and has performed flawlessly for two years.

I would guess that you have printer ink problems. Run the maintenance program built-in to the printer software. You may have empty or nearly empty cartridge(s) needing replacing.

I can't seem to clean my "black" head on my printer. I tried the "clean" funtion, several times, but still get "vertical" lines. I used the "re-align" to select the best print out, but I can't seem to get it just right. I do a "nozzel check', and I can see why the head is clogged. It is a bad printout of the black only. Any suggestions other then what I did to resolve this issue. Thanks.

I have an Epson Stylus Photo R200 printer, the problem is as follows...

When powered up, the ink housing moves as normal, no paper is fed, then the ready light goes out, and the ink and paper lights both flash simultaniously, pretty quickly, about 5 times per second. I have cleaned the waste ink pad, and reset the counter to no avail.

I am hoping this may turn out not to be a fatal error as i suspect.

Many Thanks

I just replaced all cartridges in this printer with Epson cartridges. I get the box that says all are empty. If I remove the yellow and restart the printer all are recognized and tells me to install yellow. If I reinstall the yellow I get the box saying all empty. If yellow and another color are removed, it prompts to reinstall the cartridges. Yellow is the only color causing the problem.

Has anyone heard of this problem and/or solutions? Is it better to take the loss on the 8 cartridges and move up to Canon or risk shelling out for another cartridge?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, just joined this forum to see if any one out there has a solution for my problem, other than the obvious one of buying a new printer. Epson does not supply an update for my P952A epson stylus photo printer, and epson support says they can't even find the model.
I'm not very computer literate and just wonder if someone much more knowledgeable than myself, would know of a driver update that would work.
I'm also running windows xp 32bit which could also be part of the problem.
Thanks,

Answer:epson stylus photo P952A

What driver do you currently have?
This looks to be about a 13 year old printer.

The closest I can come is stylus photo printer model 925.

Here is a driver for XP 32 bit http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/...es=no&infoType=Downloads&platform=OSF_W_XP-32

This might work http://www.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=67591

I have just bought an Epsone stylus 950 which is suposed to print directly onto cd's but i can't work out where to put the CD tray. the hyrogliphics on the tray don't help at all, and I can't find any help at epsons web site. When insert the tray in behind the printer it flashes up it's out of paper.

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo 950 Printing CD's

simply typed in epson 950 and got a 3 page write up which includes this. CD printingTo print directly onto a CD, you need to use a CD that has a printable surface. These are available now and you can also pre-attach a CD surface sticker from a kit. You can?t simply print onto the bare plastic of a standard CD as the ink is water based and will easily smudge, even after drying.A CD holder is provided and you can also use an adapter for the standard smaller CD size commonly available. The holder and CD are mounted from the front of the printer, after removing the paper cutter unit, if present.Epson provides some easy to use and flexible software for designing your CD art work. This allows variable size borders, fonts and the addition of graphics. Text can be manipulated to follow the rotation of the CD.

I have installed a epson stylus 700 printer on to a xp platform and everything apart from the status monitor is working ok.Since downloading the drivers The epson down load library no longer lists the drivers for this printer, (I have contacted epson by e-mail but I'm not holding my breath awating a reply) The monitor is listed under the utility tab but is "greyed out" Any one any experience of this problem and how to overcome it or do I just keep a good supply of ink cartridges and hope for the best.

Answer:no status momitor on epson stylus photo 700

Obviously you have installed a printer driver that works OK. Epson never issued specific XP ones for this model. I have it too. Win-2k drivers for the 700 are listed, but you have to scroll down the list. Epson are not good for issuing new drivers for their printers, I have minor problems with my fairly recent 895 with XP. The XP drivers on their site are actually for Win-2k, and every time I switch the printer on, it tell me new hardware found. I e-mailed Epson, and the technician said he has the same problem. No positive solution given. The printer works fine if I ignore the new hardware found message.Do you have any drivers for Status monitor?, if so they have to be installed after the printer drivers, or it won`t work. If not, you could try downloading any version of status monitor and try that. It will probably work.

Having had this printer running happily on my old PC running ME. I moved it to a newer PC running ME. The printer installation program is unable to find the printer on the USB port and always sets it to LPT1. There is no LPT1 on this printer. Haven't got an an answer to the problem but have had exactly the same problem with swopping a C70 and a colleague with a 760 stylus. I had to keep un-installing the printer and re-installing to get it to load correctly numerous times , on the last attempt the system froze and on re-start the printer was their but the status monitor was missing which was added later. Now I get an error message if I switch the printer on before start-up but all is O:K if I switch on later? My work colleague gave up and connected is older printer up to the LPT port.

Hi
I have been using the above for some years and am quite happy with it. On the front of the machine is a connector marked with a USB sign and the letters USB.
Two questions:- Can I plug in my laptop and print without disconnecting my PC, and what is the proper description of the plug required, the socket is considerably smaller than a normal USB but bigger than the USB socket on my camera.
If the answer to the first is yes I need to know what to look for to connect the laptop.
I also have a Stylus Photo R300 the first question also applies to this one but there is no problem with the USB as it is a standard size.
Thanks
phil

From the online manual for your R200, you can download or read it here :- https://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Inkjet/Epson-Stylus-Photo-R200/Drivers-Support?

Your printer has two USB connectors, one on the front and one on the back. With a USB cable, you can use them to connect a portable computer or a desktop computer to the printer. Epson recommends that you use the front-side USB connector for connecting a portable computer and the back-side USB connector for connecting a desktop computer.Click to expand...

See if you can identify the Usb socket here (my guess is it's the 'type B') :- http://images.yourdictionary.com/usb

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 740 printer, but there is no driver available for this printer for the XP OS even on their website, which is rather a shame. Anyone have any experience in replacing / cleaning these?Printer software came up with ?Maintenance Call? message and refused to print. Determined that this was most probably due to Waste Ink Pad being deemed ?full?.As needed to use printer urgently, downloaded SSC software click here and reset the ?protection counter? and was able to continue printing for now, but guess that I should really do something about the ink pads (although I do wonder how full they will be in actuality, esp. as the printer is many years old and surely most of the waste ink will have dried out anyhow).Anyhow, as I said, does anyone have any experience in replacing / cleaning these that they?d be willing to share? AFAIK it is not possible to source replacements so I?m assuming it will be a case of taking them out, ?washing and drying? them and putting them back.

I have an R1900 which I purchased from brand new on Ebay.  Epson will not honor the warranty, and as I am stationed in Germany there is no where I can take it since it's U.S. specs.First:  When I turn it on the "Paper/Trash Can" light blinks on and off.  I have gone through all the steps with Epson Tech support, but nothing works.   There is no paper in the printer.  I think the only thing I haven't done is use canned air.  I'll get some tomorrow.Has anyone else had this problem?  I've had this thing since March 2011, and NEVER been able to print.   Now I have a new born, and REALLY REALLY want to print some pics of him.Any help would be much appreciated.

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo R1900 Issues....

Such a shame that you are experiencing these problems on what certainly was NOT an inexpensive printer. Unfortunately most of the reviews (other than the product promotion on the Epson site) are not favourable about it.You say that you bought it new so was there any warranty provided? I am including a review recommendation for you to read (pay particular attention to page 2). Generally the type of problem you are having is related to improper installation sequence when 1st installing it. So if you have the manual please read it carefully as there can be warnings as to how the sequence is to be followed. I would have assumed that the Epson tech support would have investigated that with you. Was the purchase from an individual or a commercial source that was selling through E-bay? truenorthhttp://www.photo-i.co.uk/Reviews/interactive/Epson%20R1900/page2.html

Answer:Epson Stylus Photo R265 stripdown

If you wade through these click here you should find a manual for your printer.Or you could try click here but I think they will want you to pay. However, most Epson printer cases are held by four screws; two are accessed under the front cover and hold the front to the chassis rail, the others are at the back in deep recessed holes. When you come to remove the cover it should lift easily but ensure it clears the printer head - this it generally will do if the head is parked (normally to the right). You should also ensure that any adjustment (paper thickness) is at the maximum (usually lever to the '+'/upright position) to ensure the lever/mechanism/print head doesn't foul.

A 42 minute session on Epson's helpline has confirmed the death of my 2 and a bit year old Stylus Photo 890 printer. They have given me a name - Equinox- for a repair quote but is it worth the trouble? I paid £150 for it - what is a current equivalent that will make a similar job of A4 photos?A consideration is that I recently bought a bulk supply of JetTec inks and still have 3 colour and 4 black in hand.

Answer:Replacement for dead Epson Stylus Photo 890

Most printer suppliers produce a different style of ink cartridge for each new range they produce so cartridges for an 890 printer will most likely only fit another of the 800 series - which is now obsolete. The other day I bought a Stylus Photo R200 for the specific purpose of printing DVD discs. As it is also a photo printer, I thought I'd give it a go at printing a photo. I was amazed at the high quality of the results - matching those of some of our professional multi-hundred pound models. This printer cost just less than £90. Excellent value in my opinion.?d

Answer:Is my Epson stylus photo 1290 dead ??

Hello.dunsberry55....I can sympathise with that when my old ancient Lexmark did it a few years ago.I thought I'd tried everything and wonder if a small piece of paper is still there causing the problem. Cutting a long story short,I picked up my small printer and 'shook' it vigorously a few times. A small piece of paper was jammed inside its rollers but the shaking had somehow dislodged it. Once I was certain it was the only piece of paper left,I plugged it all back in and it worked again.I wonder if this might work for you?All the best.Big L 266
