Dualshock controller Driver uninstall

Question: Dualshock controller Driver uninstall

I recently got an external bluetooth adapter for a custom built PC.
I wanted to connect my wii controllers, but i had already installed dualshock drivers, which don't let you use any other
bluetooth devices. I looked into device manager and couldn't find anything about the drivers.
How do I uninstall them?
Note:
Every tutorial I've seen relies on internal bluetooth, or windows 7/8. If you've found a tutorial that doeosn't, PLEASE TELL ME!

Preferred Solution: Dualshock controller Driver uninstall

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi,

I'll try to get everything down so far and feel free to ask questions so I can fill in the blanks. I've got a decent PC, it was custom built by my brother who is a bit more techy than me.

Despite this, I only really play one game. Final Fantasy XIV: Online Heavensward.I've played this with a pad, sometimes connected via usb lead and sometimes connected via a small bluetooth USB adapter.

Recently however the pad has been doing this incredibly frustrating thing whereby I'll be playing normally and it'll just lock up for a few seconds. My guy continues running in the direction he was running, or my action bar remains open as if I was still holding down the R2 / L2 button but none of my other buttons will respond. The rest of the game continues along just fine, not graphical glitches, there's no lag, nothing is slowed or stopped. Just my controller that stops working / responding for just a second or two and then responds again.

Now I've tried what I thought was everything.

1. I changed the pad.
2. I replaced the bluetooth adapter with an official Sony DS4 wireless PC adapter.
3. I tried using it wired.
4. I tried using different USB ports.
5. I attempted to update the drivers. (was told I already have the best one available).
6. I completely removed (I think) all drivers and any software associated with any of the controllers.
7. I deleted and reinstalled the game (an hour or two process for a 3 year old + MMO)

None of this seems to h... Read more

Hi all I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 8 but the assistant will not let me proceed because it is tell me to "manually uninstall" the "Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver". When I first ran the installer it listed two "Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver". One had the uninstall button which I ran just fine but after a restart the upgrade installer still complained about the one that needed manually uninstalling. I've made sure all the Intel USB devices were uninstalled in device manager. I've reinstalled the drivers then uninstalled again. I've even been through the registry which did have references to iusb* files in system32/drivers. The files referenced did not exist so I removed those registry keys but the upgrage installer still complains that I have to manually uninstall the Intel USB 3. I even disabled the USB3 mode in the bios but this had no affect. Does anyone know what I need to do to stop the Windows 8 upgrade process complaining about this driver? Thanks

Answer:Windows 8 upgrade problem - Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver manually uninstall

FYI I gave up in the end and just did a clean install of Windows 8.

Question: Dualshock 4 on PC

Hi,

I'm not great with computers. Please help.

I play a game on my pc, online, and I use a Dualshock 4 control pad to play it as the game is optimised / designed around one. I have tried this wired, bluetooth and wifi (using an official 1st party Dualshock 4 specific adaptor) and no joy. I've tried a different controller also, wired.

What happens is, I'll be playing, moving, running, jumping or performing any other action and all of a sudden my controller will 'lock up' meaning my character will keep running in the direction they were running, or the screen will continue to spin in the direction I was spinning it, if I was holding a trigger down, the game would continue to act as if the trigger were being held down etc.

for just a split second, then it work again. Sometimes this happens twice in quick succession.

It can happen once in a whole night, or not at all, or it can happen multiple times in the space of a few minutes.

I THINK its something to do with my computer restarting my usb connections. You know like how if you unplug something or plug something in to a usb slot your device manager will refresh all the usb connections? Its like that but I've no idea what is causing it. Maybe one of the devices connected via usb is causing them to play up but I'm wondering if there's a simple way for me to diagnose which one it might be?

I think (although it was some time ago and I'm not 100% sure) I've already gone through... Read more

Recently one of the analogue sticks on my Dualshock 3 (PS3) controller developed the commen 'sticky stick' problem. As I am going to be replacing the stick soon I am wondering whether or not I should remove the rumble motors- seeing as I never have the rumble on- thus making the controller much lighter. My concern is that this may cause some damage, as removing the motors would leave some solder with no connection on the main board. I can't see anything wrong with doing this but thought it would be best to check and ask for someone else's opinion. Thank you in advance.

Answer:Dualshock 3 lightweight modification

Shouldn't be an issue that I could see.

Are you planning on leaving the wires on and just taping them off, or are you planning on removing the wires from the board as well?

Hello guys,
I've been playing fifa 17 demo with dualshock 4 on my PC desktop (WIN10). Everything works good, controller works, I am able to remap buttons in game. But when playing I realized that my right stick doesn't control 'skill moves'. Is this because :

it is only fifa 17 demo?, it'll work if I buy full game?
I use PS4 controller and it's functionality is limited? Should I use some software to remap buttons or simulate xbox controller ?

P.S. When going into game settings and customize controls I see list of buttons plus description (left stick is on the list, but right one is missing)
can anyone help please?
Thank you

Hello guys, I've been having a lot of issues with my AMD drivers, specially when it comes to chipset and video drivers. I recently had to downgrade my video drivers to June 2015 release date, that was the only solution found so I could run games properly (with recent drivers, games that should run with 100fps+ were running with 15fps)..

But that is not the point of this thread, instead, I'm here because after a few weeks running this drivers, I noticed my WiFi was not connecting to my router (wich is working, I can get access with other computers/cel phones). In my drivers list, the Ethernet controller and SM Bus controller are flagged as not installed.
I've tried to find these drivers, but AMD seems to only release packages of drivers. I've come to this download page:
Chipset

where I should be getting the drivers that solve my problem, but the big issue is: apparently, by doing it, i will be reinstalling the latest video drivers (for the APU), and that is ABSOLUTELY NOT what i want.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? And I mean: where can I get the sm bus and ethernet controller driver w/o having to install a bunch of unnecessary drivers?

My notebook is a MSI 60X 3BE
video card: Radeon HD 8970M
chipset: AMD A10-5750M (with Radeon HD 8650G)
motherboard: MSI MS-16FK

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I've downloaded the drivers in the link, installed and SM Bus is running properly, but Ethernet doesn't. Any further help?

Hello. Just got new computer and before I continue to download more software, specifically software for fijitsu scanner, I want to know if I should uninstall one of my HP drivers that randomly causes printer to get error lights flashing when I try to print via "HP Universal PCL 6" printer icon, then printer turns itself off, then works ok. A few HP drivers seem to be installed.
The info: win 7 pro 64 bit
The steps taken. 1) Installed HP Laserjet 3015 PCL 5 driver from HP site. Icon for printer says "HP Lserjet 3015 PCL 5". Worked ok.
2) Noticed that my older pc had a PCL 6 driver and so installed this because I figured this is what some of my older software programs needed to print. I think I installed it incorrectly from HP site because I think I forgot to start with printer unplugged. Also, not sure I picked the proper choices on screen (e.g., standard vs. dynamic option). It seemed to work fine for a few days with the "HP Universal PCL 6" as the default driver. Then it started to cause printing problems at random times when I tried to print.
3) Went back in and selected "HP Laserjet 3015 PCL 5" as default printer. Seems to be working again, but of course it has been only a day.
QUESTION: Given that I've heard uninstalling HP drivers can be funky, should I just leave the universal PCL 6 on it and just keep the PCL 5 selected as default printer OR should I uninstall the driver. Also, what is the best way to uninstall the driver s... Read more

Answer:Qu re: to uninstall or not uninstall hp driver laserjet 3015

Nothing really funky about uninstalling HP drivers. I would probably uninstall the drivers you don't want just to keep the system clean rather then clutter it with multiple print drivers.

Now there is a specific PCL6 driver for that printer, aside from the Universal PCl6 driver you have already installed, its located here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=lj-22043-3

I hope you weren't running Combofix and the security scan program at the same time? Combofix should not be run at the same time as another scan and all AV software should be disabled when CF is being run.

So i guess i need to uninstall this.
I go into control panel and find it in the list, click on uninstall and after it has run its course i get a box saying : error 1310.error writing to file: C:\config.Msi\4cb46d.rbf. verify you have access to that directory .

I click on retry and i get the same message again each time ???
and then after that i get another box saying : error 1603 fatal error during instillation . consult windows installer help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information ???

What do i do ???
Any help would be very much appreciated..... cheers. Neil

Answer:Re: Qosmio G50: How to uninstall Gesture controller

Hi

You can try to uninstall the software using an 3rd party tool like CCLeaner.
This allows you to remove the software and clean the registry.

You could also try to install the Gesture Controller without uninstalling the software first.
But I?m not quite sure if this would work for sure.

However, visit the Toshiba Eu driver page, download the gesture software and try to run the setup

I would check your startup menu if it is reinstalling because the startup menu has it in it.
If nothing exists in your startup menu then I would look here.

I would suggest to look at your services menu and disable or stop it from loading on reboot.

Here's how you can do it.
1. Enter Contol Panel
2. Select Administrative Tools
3. Select Service in the large right window.
4. Look for the Nvidia Service that ppertains to you and select with mouse to open
5. Take a look if it the correct one then disable and hit apply
6. Get out and reboot then try to uninstall.

Hi, I'm using a laptop with Windows 8.1 x64 and I have the Intel Wireless-N 7260 WiFi card with Bluetooth 4.0.

Last week I tried out a Bluetooth speaker of a friend, it was the BOSE Mini SoundLink. When I connected it to my laptop, the controller got installed automatically and it worked nice.

I uninstall it through Device Manager. Right-click on it, uninstall. Then it disappears, but if I check for changes in hardware, it appears again. It's like I successfully uninstall it but immediately after it gets installed automatically.

Hello everyone,

I recently had a virus on my laptop (Compaq NC6000) which wiped out my internet capabilities.

I seem to have removed the virus (malwarebytes, avira, stinger, spybot, superantispyware all report no problems).

After I removed the virus, my internet still didn't work (ethernet or wireless) and I still had about 12 network devices (and a host of other drivers such as TCP/IP) showing up with issues in Device Manager. I discovered that ndis.sys was missing from c:\windows\system32\drivers. After I restored it, all but 3 of the devices were resolved.

So I have 3 devices that are not working properly. The first is a Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet controller (it is supposedly installed, but has a yellow exclamation mark). I downloaded the latest driver from HP's website; but when I tried to update the driver with this new version, it said it could not find a better match than the one already installed.

Okay, I thought, so the driver must be the latest version, but corrupted. Replacing the .sys file with the newly downloaded version did nothing. So I tried uninstalling the device. Windows said it could not uninstall the device, possibly because it is required in bootup.

There is no option to disable the device in the BIOS. The closest thing is "Internal Network Adapter Boot." I don't use that, so it was already disabled.

Do you begin to see my problem?

Could anyone help me with this? The other two devices (listed under Other Devices... Read more

Hi guys, may I ask for a help with Intel SATA Controller AHCI Driver for Windows 7 (64-bit), please? I went to Drivers download page and I choosed my laptop (ThinkPad Edge E520 1143-37G), then Storage driver, but when I click at Intel SATA Controller AHCI Driver for Windows 7 (64-bit) nothing happens. 32bit is available for downloading tho. Thx a lot for any hint

Answer:E520 - Intel SATA Controller AHCI Driver for Windows 7 (64-bit) driver

I believe the hard drive has failed and that is why it is asking for a driver.  The hard drive is no longer recognized on the SATA connection and the system recovery routine wants a driver to find a hard disk.  The Windows 7 (64-bit) driver is needed because that is what should be installed in the bootable OS partitiion (non visible partition).

OS: Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
Network Adapters: Airlink101 SuperG Wireless adpt, NVIDIA nForce net controller
Okay, so I just recently set my computer back to its factory defaults and then upgraded everything on it.
However, just yesterday night, my wireless connection failed. After restarting in hopes that it would help, a notification popped up that said "Device driver installation complete" (but did not say what driver), I did not however install any such driver and I have forbbiden WAU from installing w/o permission. The driver in question is the NVIDIA network controller (I believe). I tried to disable it but my system restarts the moment I try to either disable or remove it. I am trying to find a solution to why I can do nothing to this driver without the computer crashing. Thanks again and sorry I am so computer illiterate.

A few days ago I did a clean install of Windows 7. Now I have a problem. The computer is a wireless 'client'. It has a Realtek RTL8168D/8111D PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20).

When I bring up Device Manager and expand 'Network adapters' I see "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller".

When I expand 'Other devices' I see "! Network Controller" (Note the exclamation point.) Double click on that and I see "The driver for this device is not installed. (Code 28). When I click on Update driver I get a message Can't find a driver. I have tried many times with different source folders and files and nowhere is a driver found.

I have gone to MSIs driver web page and downloaded the Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Driver for Windows 7 32/64 bit "realtek_pcielan_7_nb.zip", extracted the files and still no joy. (M/B is MSI G41M with Intel E7400)

There is a wireless icon in the tray. I click 'Open network and sharing center". No matter what I choose Win7 ends up telling me to plug in an Ethernet cable. No, this is a client not the server. I have verified that the NIC can connect to the computer with the Ethernet cable by using the old XP hard disk.

Any suggestions?

Answer:Network Controller Driver–not Adapter Driver

Upload a report from Everest and also include your PC manufacturer and model #.

Click "Report" at the top of the Everest window, click next to get to "Report Profile", select "Hardware-related Pages", click next, select "Plain Text", click "Finish". Then when it is done processing, click "Save To File". Save it where you want to. (I would use Desktop.)
Click "go advanced" in the reply box, scroll down a little way until you see "manage attachments", click it, browse to your file, click "upload", and close the window. Then submit the post. You may have to also type something in the reply box, like, "Here's my report.", so that it will submit.

Hi!I bought the s430 yesterday and exchanged the hdd with a ssd. I tried to install windows 7 ultimate (sp1), but the drivers for  Ethernet-Controller, Network-Controller, PCI-communications controller and fingerprint sensor are missing, I can't find them on the support page. Also you can see an unknown device in the device manager (Hardware ID: ACPI\LEN0068 *0068). Another problem is, after installing the Ultranavdriver, I couldn't use the touchpad anymore, trackpoint still worked, after deinstallation the touchpad worked again. Last but not least, the Power Manager doesn't recognize the storage battery, the computer tells me there's no battery installed. With the hdd and the preinstalled windows, everything works. I installed all the OSfixes, all available drivers. Does anyone know what's the problem? edit: I found most of the drivers on the hdd in the c:\swtools\drivers folder. Ultranav and Power Manager now work properly. But in the device manager you can see that the PCI Simple Communication Controller still isn't installed. I'm in a little jam. when I bought my system it came pre-installed with Windows 8.1. Since then I've upgraded to Windows 10 because I though, "Hey it's free!" lol I've really been enjoying 10 but I had a program or two that wasn't exactly running perfectly on 10 so I decided to Dual boot Windows 10 and Windows 8.1.

Took me a few days to figure out how to get it installed and everything but I finally did it. I can now choose at boot which OS I want to boot to. I have on the Windows 8.1 side all the drivers and everything updated as possible. Except in my Device Manager there is SM Bus Controller with an explanation mark. I've right clicked and hit update driver. I've downloaded HP Support Assistant to see if it would download the driver but nope. It's still sitting there with an explanation point.

I don't know what to do and from what I researched on my own this is the chipset on the motherboard that controls temp and all that or something. So I don't want to be on the Windows 8.1 side if it's going to eventually damage my computer because I don't have a driver installed.

If anyone can please help or give suggestions I'd be greatly appreciated and if you need more specs on my system let me know what you need.

I formatted the hard drive on an HP laptop, and installed Windows from a Microsoft installation disk rather than the factory recovery. On the old installation in Device Manager, under IDE ATA controller it said ATA channel 0 & 1. On the new installation it says IDE channel/IDE channel. I am wondering if there is any loss of speed or functionality because of this.

The HP site does not have a driver for either the chipset or ATA controller. And Windows Update has not presented any driver updates for this either.

Hello Everyone,

I have just recently upgraded my Dell Desktop from Windows XP Home Edition SP3 to Windows Vista Home Basic SP1. (Since MS is cutting out support I decided to upgrade it now, since I got it really cheap and I know Windows 7 is coming but I think I will wait on that one, because I have actually gotten to really like Vista) Anyways, in my Device Manager is shows a problem with the SM Bus Controller and when I click on it to reinstall the driver; Windows can not find the software needed to do this. My questions is how do I find out what driver I need when Windows does not even know what it is? (I need a free way to do this, I know that there are programs that do this for you and update all your drivers, but I am saving money)

Specs:
Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop
Intel Celeron 420 @ 1.60GHz
2 GB of Ram installed
Basic Intel Video Card
32 bit operating system
Windows Vista Home Basic SP1

Thanks so much,

Greetings.

I have a yellow question mark on System / SM Bus Controller, and there are no drivers listed. I am wondering which drivers I need.

I have run Everest, which says under Summary that my MB chipset is ATI Radeon 9100 IGP.

Under AGP Device, it is listed as ATI Radeon 9000/9100 IGP chipset.

The MB is Sapphire Axion RS300.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as always.

Regarding the keyboard first, its setup for English US not English UK and you change to change that under control panel, regionl and language options. The USB controller, assumming its the one on the motherboard, the driver for it will be on your motherboard disk. If you have a problem with this then post the make and model of your motherboard or if its a branded computer the make and model of the computer and someone will be able to give you a link to download it.

SM Bus Controller

How can I fix this problem without an internet connection? I have a laptop and can move files to my desktop by USB, but thats all I've got.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Answer:Driver/Controller Help

Hello Karmos,

What is the make / model of the computer?

You can go to the manufacturer website and download the drivers and then transfer them

to the problem pc.

I just received a hand-me-down PC as a gift and it seems to be running pretty well. The only weird thing about it is that there are no drivers for a piece of hardware that the device manager lists as an 'SM Bus Controller'. I haven't noticed if any hardware isn't doing what it should be, but it annoys me that there's a random piece of hardware that might not be functioning correctly!
My Specs are on this site:
Product Specifications Compaq Presario SR1722X Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

If anyone has any insight on this, i'd like to know!
Thanks in advance!

for amd aspire t180 desktop pc that registers with an exclamation mark within "system, hardware". It obviously refers to the media card reader installed at the front but I can't find an appropriate driver anywhere!

Answer:sm bus controller driver

SM Bus is actually System Management Bus and is part of the chipset drivers, not specifically to do with a card reader. If you haven't already found them the chipset drivers for your system can be found here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/produ..."I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us..." Hi, I recently installed windows xp on a friends computer. Problem is, I lost my video driver on it due to the format and I need it to make the computer get out of the small resolution 16 or 8-bit colors. Problem is, I don't know how to detect what video device he has, he doesn't have a video card that's for sure seeing as I don't see one and it's a really old computer. Is there any software I can use to detect what video controller he has so I can find the driver?

I tried device manager and dxdiag but those don't help.

I recently had to reinstall the OS for a Dell laptop..Inspiron 14R N4110 and I have all the drivers installed except the sm bus controller.

I installed several chipset drivers from Dells website, but the device manager still shows that I need the driver.

Is there a method to determine exactly which chipset driver is needed?

I have a driver problem with SM Bus Controller with the driver not being correctly installed, but how do I find out what are the details I need to update the driver. I need to know the manufacturer (I think) and Model (I think) but how do I find those out?
Any assistance in resolving the Driver Error would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:SM Bus Controller Driver

If you know your motherboard make and model you can go to the manufacturer's website and download the ones for Windows 8.1. They *should* be ok. You need the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

Some time ago, I tried to update my drivers using a driver update utility.  Most of the drivers seemed to have been updated correctly, but it wouldn't update the Intel Graphics driver.  I tried to search for it on my own and then decided to try Intel's own website.  I guess that was a bad idea because the dll file I got it from it wasn't for my laptop (the igdumdim32.dll file - it kept giving me a Bad Image error).  I was using Windows 10 already, though my laptop originally isn't supposed to be eligible for the upgrade (it's an Aspire V5-571G and the "Windows 10 Update" app told my laptop is ready to be upgraded, so went ahead with it).  I recently downloaded a Windows 10 ISO and used it to do an almost-clean install of Windows 10 (I kept only my personal files), so hopefully the Bad Image error was taken care of, but now the driver for the PCI Controller is missing and Windows doesn't know the manufacturer for its hardware. I'd like to know the Aspire V-series model that's closest to mine and that was meant for Windows 10 so I can try its drivers.

Answer:SM Bus Controller Driver?

I am not sure the SMBus driver will resolve your shutdown issue. But you can download and install your chipset driver here. I did not link to the chipset driver because I do not know if you have 32bit of 64bit.

I recently reloaded windows on aan HP a1210n desktop with an ASUS A8AE-LE Motherboard. The Chipset is an an ATI Radeon Express 200. I am running windows XP with all updates.
I was told by a tech at HP to use 9-8Legacy-XP32-64-dd-ccc drivers which I downloaded to take care of a no driver issue for the SM Bus Controller.
I can not get the driver to take. Any one have any ideas?:confused

Answer:SM Bus Controller driver

Hi

SMBus Controller should be in the Chipset package, but possible issue in it not installing correctly could be your Antivirus software, so if you have any installed (plus other security applications) disable or uninstall it until you have sucessfully installed the Chipset.

I would try these drivers HERE from ATi for the xpress 200 motherboard.

What service pack is your Windows XP at?
What items in Device Manager have yellow ! marks, know about the SMbus but are there others?

Reinstalled Vista-64 on my Dell Studio 540 and finally everything is working except the SM Bus Controller (missing driver).

Nothing has worked from any of Dell's disks or from the website. Have downloaded drivers from Intel for their G45/G43 Express chipset and it did not solve the problem. Actually it inactivated the display adapter, so had to roll back the driver to previous (difx64.exe file version 1.2.0.0)

Motherboard: Dell 0M017G A00.

I have no idea what the SM Bus Controller runs...everything is working...so far.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Answer:SM Bus Controller Driver

Sticky,
Thanks for posting Intel's latest updates.

Updating/Installing Java was needed before the whole process worked.
Intel updated 16 drivers, including the missing driver.
Doing a complete reinstall of Vista 64 this late sure is not fun.

Hi...

I just installed a fresh copy of Win 7 pro 64bit on an HP P7-1110 and cant seem to find the driver to make the SM Bus Controller under "other devices" go away. I even saved all the drivers from the old OS with Double Driver and none of them seem to work either. SM BUS is usually a chipset or card reader but that didn't work either. I could find the chipset driver on the HP site so I went to Intel and it said they was nothing to update.

This had Win 10 when I got it but was originally designed for Win 7 so I don't get it. What am I missing here?

Here's the string I got from the Device Manager

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C22&SUBSYS_2AC2103C&REV_05
Any and all suggested are welcome
Thank you!!!

I have a custom built computer with a ACPI motherboard. I had a situation where my hard drive was failing so I saved all my personal files and folders and installed a new hard drive. On install of the new hard drive I installed Windows XP Pro, SP3 from my disk and thought everything would be more or less back to normal. However the drivers for the Internal; HD Audio, Ethernet, PCI Serial Port, PCI Simple Communications Controller, SM Bus Controller, and Video Controller did not load. As a result I can not access the internet because the OS does not recognize that there is a NIC card.

I have the Hardware ID for all of these devices, and the Ethernet Controller is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_104A&SUBSYS_00018086. I did a Google search on another computer for this Hardware ID and found several sites that claim to provide the required Driver but what they actually provide is a program to find the driver. Without the driver these downloads are useless because any Driver Search will be for the computer I am running the program on, not the one that needs it! I hope that is clear.

Since all of the devices mentioned in the first paragraph are integrated with the Motherboard I thought maybe I could search for Drivers specific to the Motherboard Hardware ID, but that was no help either. Whatever happened to the old days when I simply went to the manufacturer's web site and downloaded the Driver I needed? Now everything seems to try and sell me something before I can even hope to fin... Read more
