MicroSD does not work with Satellite Click 10 LX0W

Question: MicroSD does not work with Satellite Click 10 LX0W

Hello all,
I have recently acquired a Satellite Click 10 LX0W Toshiba notebook.
The specifications says that it is compatible with micro SD with UHS-I (max. size: 128 GB)
According to SD Association, the Bus Mode UHS-I is compatible with UHS Speed classes 1 and 3 (http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/speed/)
However, the card I bought (Kingston 64 GB, micro SD XC I, UHS speed class 3) does not work properly in this notebook but it works perfect in other devices.
The card is recognised by the Satellite Click 10 but reading or writting is extremely slow and often give error messages. I cannot even format it using this notebook.
I think there is something wrong with the Toshiba notebook but can you give me your opinion please?

Thank you!
Regards,

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Answer: MicroSD does not work with Satellite Click 10 LX0W

Same here

Toshiba click 10 with windows 10, micro SD card 64GB Kingston Class10 (UHS-1) does not work. Card is detected allright - can see it in Storage Manager, but can not format it. If I format it in some another device, Toshiba click 10 can not use it - it can not write to it - it will destroy ntfs/exFAT FS on card. Event viewer is full of SD card related errors.

Any suggestion here, please?

Driver is from 2006 (on windows 10) but can not find never anywhere.

Hello everybody.
I am new in the forum and i also have to admit i do not have a clue about laptops. The problem:

I have a SATELLITE CLICK 10 LX0W-C-104 with Windows 10. Although i do not have files and the total capacity of any programs that i have downloaded as extra is very small, approximately 5 Giga, i can not download the windows updates. It appears that i do not have enough space. Can i replace the 32 Giga SSD with something of bigger capacity like 128 GB? Someone told me to use a micro-sd card but is this only for files, like documents or images? Or should i just leave the windows not updated??

Any response will be helpfull

Thanks

Hi!

I just bought and Toshiba Click 10 Hybrid computer, but after using it for some time the sound starts crackling (will post a video when it happens again). Disabling the device in the playback devices, and enabling it again fixes the problem for some time, restarting the windows also fixes it. Also, it happens in the device speakers and in the headphone jack.

The user in this review, also reports the same problem.

Does anybody knows a fix for this problem.

Hi, i have a click 10 that has recently started saying it is 'plugged in, not charging'.

Both batteries are available, and the dock battery is at 100%, whilst the tablet battery is discharging and will not charge in windows from the cable or the keyboard battery.

it also says 'plugged in, not charging' whether i take the cable out or leave it in.

i have tried the 'remove accpi drivers' trick, and i am running the most recent bios 1.7.

One strange thing to note is that undocked, the tablet will charge as normal, but when i remove the cable it stops charging as expected but still says 'plugged in, not charging'.

really confused with this and not sure what else to try.

also to note is that it charges perfectly fine when switched off using the supplied charger.

Hello,

I seem to have an issue with the 2nd Battery on my Click 10. The notebook is about 1 month old. The 2nd battery is always at 100% and never depletes, so I only getting approx. 40% use out of battery 1 before it turns off. It does not give me a low battery warning as it normally shows around 55-60% remaining. I have looked at the handbook and believe that the 2nd battery should be used 1st but this does not seem to be the case on mine.
Has anyone had this issue before and if so how did you resolve it?

Many thanks for reading.

Hopefully there is someone out there who can help.

My Satellite C660D-1EN has its USB port thats not picking anything up but the things it wont pick up work on a different computer an also my left mouse button is not working.
It's acting as a right click.

Answer:Satellite C660D-1EN - USB don't work /left click acting as right click

Hi

How about deleting the USB ports/hubs and controllers from device manager?
Did you try that?

In device manager expands the USB controllers and delete all devices available there.
Furthermore you need to reboot the notebook to ensure all USB devices would be recognized again.
I had some problems with USB ports too and this method helped !

Please give me a way on how can I fix my laptop problem. I'm using Toshiba Satellite A500 on Windows 7. It?s about 22 month old had no problem until recently.

Just lately, the right click on my touch pad is no longer working. Double tapping and left click work but not right click. It was working finely one day and next day, this problem appeared and staying there.

I?ve checked the touch pad setting on the control panel, installed a new driver and even done (unplug, remove battery, press on button for 30 sec, fit battery, plug power trick as well as suggested in some internet site but not much luck so far)

When I connect to the USB 3 sockets in the docking station the PC does not detect the device.
When I connect to the USB2 socket in the tablet it does????

Answer:USB 3 sockets don't work on Satellite Click 2 Pro P30W-B

Hi

What external USB did you try to connect?

The tablet supports the 1 x USB 2.0 port.
The keyboard dock supports 2 x USB 3.0 ports which support also the additional Sleep & Charge mode.
Try to disable the Sleep & Charge in BIOS and then connect the USB device to one of the USB 3.0 ports…

Feedback would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'm having trouble with my touchpad and I've tried everything I'd be gratefull if someone here helped me...

My problem is that I can't left click with my touchpad, the button doesn't work neither does taping, although the right button works.

I on the internet when suddently it starte failling and draging everything i clicked, then it just stoped working.

Also I went to the mouse options and switched to left handed touchpad, and when I click with the right button the left button works, but then the right click (that's now on the left) won't work neither does tapping.

Answer:Touchpad left click does not work on Satellite L650

So this means that touchpad hardware (touchpad buttons) are ok.
You should check if new touchpad software/driver installation would help you to get rid of this annoying issue.

In device manager you should firstly remove the touchpad device. Reboot the notebook and then install the touchpad driver once again.

Hi,

I bought this laptop 5 weeks ago and now have issues with right click on mouse does not work. Sometimes left click brings up left click functions and leaves me unable to close programmes or shut down, double clicking in pad or enter does not work also.

I have tried to do a system restore to factory but I cannot click on the next to take me throught the restore and end up having to shut down via main power switch.

Any ideas please?

Answer:Satellite C660 - Mouse click doesn't work

Hello

Do you have the same problems with an external mouse or just the touchpad?

If an external mouse works properly you can use this one to make a recovery installation. This can help you to solve the problem if it?s just software based.

Last but not least did you already try updating the touchpad driver? You can find it on official Toshiba website:
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Download Drivers

Check this!!!

Hi,

The left click on my touchpad has stopped working. It works *very* occasionally but mostly it doesn't. It also freezes the screen if I try to click it too often (in a fit of temper usually ;) )

A USB mouse works fine, which is okay when I'm working on my desk but means I can no longer use my laptop on my lap! The tap click does work, but I don't like using it.

I reinstalled the drivers and that hasn't solved it. I turned the laptop upside down and gave it a good shake to get rid of any crumbs etc under the mouse and that hasn't solved it either.

Any other ideas?

Answer:Satellite C650D - left click on touchpad does not work

Hi

Could be possible that there is a mechanical problem with the touchpad button?
Pressing the button too often might lead to the system freezing because of the CPU stress and load.

In my opinion the touchpad board or the single button (if possible) should be replaced.

Hi Guys!
I own a Toshiba Satellite C660, (Of course :P) Anyways. Today I was just doing what I usually do on my laptop,
when suddenly the left mouse button stopped working. (Bare with me, this is very weird to explain xD!) Also I cannot "Left click" On my touch pad. I can still move the cursor around with the touch pad, and right click with the right button.

I've tried lightly shaking it incase of crumbs, or something. Although I never eat around my laptop. It's not hard to push like there would be something under it, it just doesn't work!

In a sum up, I can't left click. But I'm able to move the cursor and right click, Odd!

At the moment I have my USB mouse plugged in from my computer and it works fine, but is very annoying!

Sorry if I didn't explain it too well!

Please help!

Answer:Satellite C660 Touch Pad/Buttons left click does not work

On this virtual way it is not easy to say what is wrong there. It is not easy to say if the left touchpad button is ?defective? or disabled somehow.

At first you should check all settings for touchpad. If your notebook has preinstalled Synaptics software check all settings related to touchpad buttons.

We have a Toshiba Satellite Pro T130-15F which has a strange issue when any user logs onto the laptop and they try and use the left mouse button on the laptop it works as the right mouse button, so the laptop doesn't have a working left mouse button as both left and right work as right button.

I have tried rebuilding the laptop several times i have also tried restoring the bios to the factory defaults, i would be very grateful if anyone has any ideas on this.

Thanks

Peter

Can you connect the usb mouse to check how it will act? If the usb mouse works properly, there can be a touchpad malfunction.

HP Stream Notebook - 14-z000na (ENERGY STAR) Hi, microSD reader doesn't work. I checked in Device Manager but there's no card reader, neither listed in Disk Management. I purchased a T440s a few months ago. Suddenly I am unable to right click on my touchpad in order to open drop down menus, where they are available,or to right click while highlighting text? I manage to do this if  I click on a specific spot around the bottom, middle of the touchpad, but this takes a lot of fiddling around in order to get the precise spot that happens to work.  It is certainly not a practical solution.  Does this sound like a physical hardware issue, that I need to bring my laptop to the depot for, or might this be something else that can be addressed within my settings or some sort of update?   Has anybody else had this specific problem?   Thanks!

Answer:suddenly right click not work on t440s touchpad, only awkward middle click

For the sake of troubleshooting, I should add that when I connect a mouse it works fine but, of course, this too is not a practical mobile solution.  A response from someone from Lenovo on this site, in particular, would be appreciated.

Answer:Start button (except left click) and others dont work with right click

Try the following:

The following downloads new files
Open a Powershell window and at the prompt type (or copy and paste)
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press <Return>.

Be patient while this proceeds.
Finally, post back the result, after checking your symptoms.

(If this does not work, the next stage will be an in-place upgrade repair install, which keeps almost everything).

Please advise your windows build:
Windows key + R, type 'winver'

The right-click touchpad button on my Lenovo Flex 2/15 is not working: it does nothing.  Left click is okay.  When I plug in a mouse, right-click on the mouse does work.  When I turn on the 2-finger tap, it also does not open a  context menu.  I have Windows 10, but the problem started a week after the installation, so I don't think it is a Windows probllem.  Suggestions?

My son has just purchased a Satellite P850 laptop to use for school work and gaming and has noticed a problem with the behaviour of the touchpad.

When using the touchpad, if you have one finger in the area of the touchpad used for mouse movement, and then try to click the right hand mouse button, the laptop behaves as if you clicked the left mouse button. If you click the right hand mouse button when you are not touching the mouse movement area, it behaves correctly.

We have tried changing various touchpad settings but have not been able to correct this problem. We have also updated the drivers for the touchpad to the latest version from the Synaptics website, but the problem still exists.

Is there a particular driver or setting that gives the correct behaviour of the right hand mouse button whilst still touching the touchpad with the other finger?

Answer:Satellite P850 - Right click on touchpad acting like a left click

> When using the touchpad, if you have one finger in the area of the touchpad used for mouse >movement, and then try to click the right hand mouse button, the laptop behaves as if you clicked >the left mouse button
Sorry but I use touchpad too but in moment when I use one of the touchpad buttons I don?t touch touchpad area at this moment. I have two Toshiba notebooks and I tried to test this on both of them but none of them react on the way described in your posting.

As far as I know such behaviour can be result of ?confused? touchpad.
>... when you are not touching the mouse movement area, it behaves correctly.
In my opinion it is the right way to use touchpad correctly. I don?t think you can change anything using some other touchpad driver. Preinstalled driver is tested and I think the right one.

Okay, I did something really stupid. It was late, I was in the dark, and I wasn't paying attention (obviously) so here's what happened...

I had a SanDisk 2GB Micro SD Memory Card that I was using in my cell phone.
I wanted to transfer some pics & photos from my computer to the phone, so I decided to stick it in the Express Card slot of my laptop. Simple enough, right?

....Well being the incredibly smart person that I am, I put the micro memory card in the adapter, but it was the wrong one. So my computer pretty much swallowed it whole. I can't get it back out.
Now I can't use the Express Card slot in my computer AT ALL, because the old one is still stuck in there. You can't really see it, but if you try to put another adapter in there, it won't "click". It won't go all the way because ... the old one I lost is still in there waiting to be rescued, haha.

So my question is: How do I get the memory card out of my computer??

I tried taking it apart, but I couldn't get the part of where the express card slot is, so that was no good. There's a way to do this, I know. I'm just not smart enough to figure it out on my own. Which is probably a good thing, because I might mess it up again, lol.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7416 laptop.
Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

-Ashley

Hi all,I replaced my power supply to upgrade from 250w to 480w.  I carefully unplugged the old and re-plugged the new (after unplugging power source) and when I confidently turned everything back on the hard drive seems not to work.  there's a faint beep but I'm not sure if it's the POST beep or not.  (I have a vague understanding of that)Instead, the hard drive clicks quite clearly and it clicks 4x then pauses, then 4x, pause, etc, etc. I tried re-plugging the old power supply back in and get the same result.   The computer screen just stays blank the whole time.Did my hard drive just die at that point?   Could switching ps cause the hd to die?a few facts:I do touch the computer case before I stick my hands in there to remove static charge.HD is western digital caviar 40g  WD400Computer is 3ghz P4 running xp with sp3replacement power supply says it's for a P4 and it fits perfectly where the old one came out, same connections etc.I have a 160g drive on it's way from Ebay that I intended to replace this drive with anyway and I have the 40g drive backed up on an external so it's not a disaster but it sure is an inconvenience.I'm ready to try hitting it on the side (percussive maintenance) but thought I'd try a post first. :-)Thanks,John

So, every once in a while I come across this strange issue:

1. Aero Peek suddenly stops workingWhen I hover my mouse over windows on the taskbar, the windows preview will flash for a fraction of a second and then vanish, if I'm moving my mouse along the taskbar the window preview will quickly "blink" (it appears and disappears) for as long I'm moving my pointer across that program's area on the taskbar, but nothing even remotely clear enough to see what's in that window. Once I stop moving the mouse, even while in that program's title area on the taskbar, i can't get the "blinking" effect to come back for that specific one unless I move my mouse off of it and then back on.2. Clicking with the scroll wheel to scroll stops workingI like to scroll pages by clicking and holding with the scroll wheel, then I release when I get to where I want to be. But that functionality no longer works, nor does simply clicking once and then moving the mouse to scroll. When I try either of these methods, the small white circle with the arrows which indicate that you've clicked to scroll with the mouse wheel will flash on the screen for an instant then disappear. What I've tried:
Restarting computer (works, but is a nuisance especially if I have a lot of tabs open in Chrome)

I have been using my L750 for about 3 weeks now and suddenly the function keys (using the FN + F keys) have ceased to work.

Also, the shutdown, when I go into Start, then press shutdown, my laptop used to actually shut down.

Now all I can do is click either the sleep or hibernate on the arrow pull-out menu on the shutdown button.
Can anyone help me with this.

They have all been working fine up to now.

Answer:Satellite L750 Fn buttons do not work & shut down doesn't work either

> I have been using my L750 for about 3 weeks now and suddenly the function keys (using the FN + F keys) have ceased to work.

Go to All Programs -> Flash Cards Utility and restart the Flash Cards.

The point is that this Utility controls the FN buttons and this should be the first step in order to get the button working again.

If this does not help, reinstall the VAP (value added package)

Regarding the power off issue:
Click right on the Start button -> Properties
Now choose Start Menu tab
Here in the point power button action choose Shut down

I have a standard laptop touchpad with right and left click, as well as a bluetooth mouse. I don't know what I did to make this happen - I have lived with it for awhile.

When I right-click in the following places with either device, nothing happens:
---on the desktop (to bring up a context menu)
---in windows explorer on any of the displayed folders or files (for example, if I wanted to look at properties)
---in the start menu (say, to run the cmd prompt as an administrator)

But right-click does work on the recently-used program list in the start menu, other places in windows explorer (for example in the address bar to copy the address), and in every application I run on the computer.

Why does right-click only work some places? It can't be the mouse or buttons because it works most places, just not those few. I'm not sure what to try. Thanks in advance for any help.

Answer:right-click will not work in some places

Hi thor7777.
Bit of a stretch but right click Start. Go to Properties>Start Menu Tab>Customize Button.
Make sure "Enable Context Menus and Dragging and Dropping" is selected in the list.
Assuming you can right click the start button itself of course.

Answer:Click Here Doesn't Work

First of all, what operating system are you running?

Secondly, what browser (and version of it) are you using?

This doesn't belong in the General Security forum so I'll move it to the proper forum once you reply with this information.

In the meantime, a workaround is to right-click the link and then select "copy link location" in Firefox or "copy shortcut" in IE to get the full URL to paste into the address bar.

I have tried several "click here" on PCA today but none work, any ideas please, obviously to do with my settings.Like others (I think)if I c/o start/windows update or start/search/files folders, nothing happens, I am guessing they are connected but dont know how.

Answer:"click here" wont work.

on the click here link, and select 'open in new window' from the drop-down menu.It sounds to me as if you may have installed something that's preventing pop-up windows. Spyware Doctor is know for stopping 'click here' links from working.

This was part of a post for several problems with a laptop, click here but though all the other problems are solved this one remains, so I'm starting this as a separate issue.Toshiba laptop, "Satellite 1000-Z2". OS is XP.No AV installed; and only SP1 installed. At present there is no internet connection, either. I can deal with those issues. The problem is that right-click does not work, and it doesn?t matter where or what you right click ? instead of producing a menu, a small window appears (measures 1.5 inches by 1 inch approx) that looks like the top right corner of any window . There is a blue bar at the top with the name Easy Launcher ? though the last 2 letters (er) are not visible ? as if the window hasn?t opened properly. It has a Close cross, a Microsoft ?flag?, a minimize icon, another cross, and an icon of someone escaping. Only two of these do anything: the Close cross closes and the flag opens the Start menu. In other words it?s a useless bit of kit. I assumed it was malware, but scans with a2; Ccleaner; etc, show nothing.I don?t mind that it doesn?t do anything, what does give me problems is that I can?t right click; so, eg, how can I send anything to a flash drive? Or to burn something to a CD?I?ve scanned the entire system with various anti-malware. They show nothing. Add/Remove programs doesn?t show Easy Launcher.Umpteen Easy Launcher references in Google, but none that fits this one.Can anyone suggest a solution, please?

Answer:Right-click doesn't work.

Try running click here and disable Easy Launcher.

please go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items -> click Mouse,
in Mouse Properties click Device Settings -> click Settings,
in Properties for Synaptics Click Pad you can fine-tune the touchpads behavior to match your taste.

Welcome to Seven Forums bea. Do you have antivirus installed and working?

Do you have a system restore point from before this problem started? I'd start with that, but we'll need to see if there aren't other issues involved here. We can get you to the system restore point if you have it. You say it was working before, the internet and everything? Have you changed anything recently? Let's start there and see what you can tell us. A Guy

Answer:The right click function does not work on my mouse

Did you (accidentally, perhaps) change the way the right-hand button works in the mouse properties in Control Panel? Often you can program what you want each button to do when you press it, depending on the mouse driver.

Look in Control Panel/Mouse/Properties/Buttons. My right-hand button is set for "Context Menu/Alternate Select", but I've got many choices, mostly editing functions, to choose from.

Is there a way to turn this off? And what does it think it's doing for me?

If those are white radiating circles, open up Control Panel, then look for the mouse properties option. Look through the tabs until you find an option that says "show location of mouse if I press right ctr"l. Clear the box.

Hallo lenovo community, a newbie making his first post here (as if you couldn't guess).I have a Lenovo laptop 3000 N200 type 0769 - ECG.When I tried to register on this lenovo Forum site and received the e-mail asking me to confirm my e-mail address by the instruction to 'click here' (not in inverted commas, just 'here' underlined, which is a hyperlink?) my machine didn't do it.What happens is this. When I press the left click lever down nothing happens. When I release the lever there is a very faint and quiet 'donk donk' or 'drip drip' sound, but nothing else happens.I was also trying to register on a forum run by a magazine (ComputerActive).Whilst I was struggling with this someone who works here (I'm in the local library) suggested trying to 'click ' by using both the left click lever with the 'shift' key, which did work (thank the lord) or otherwise you would not be reading this, and I would be tearing my hair out/ howling at the moon/anything you care to suggest! So ... I've been given a work-around, but it still leaves me troubled. My machine isn't working as it should, and these are just two representative examples of it not doing hyperlinks.I'll give you some background information which might help narrow down the problem.I am a silver surfer (well ... it sounds better than dinosaur) who has a scientific/technical background, mostly in photography, so I am used to handling precision machinery and instruments, and I also expect the darned things to work as they should... Answer:'Click' on hyperlink doesn't work.

I have no idea if this will help in your case but I've had a similar problem with an N500 running Win XP. After I installed the latest hotfixes from Microsoft 5 days ago, my USB mouse and ALPS touchpad both became ineffective (they, so-to-speak, lost traction) when I tried using either of them for selecting and inserting symbols (but not special characters) in MS Word documents as well as in the text of PowerPoint slides. I could still select symbols using the keyboard. And I was having absolutely no such problems when using Open Office. The solution I find in a post at Technet was to use TweakUI for accessing my mouse settings and disabling X-Mouse by unchecking the box next to "Activation follows X-Mouse." Everything returned to normal after I did that. Note: TweakUI is a very handy power toy that comes with Win 97 and Win 2000 and I used Add/remove for installing it in Win 2K compatibility mode. AG

According to the vendor it doesn't work with Windows 7. Last supported Windows OS is Vista. From here: http://www.answers.com/main/download_answers_win.jspRequirements for 1-Click AnswersTM:Windows 2000, XP, or Vista. The installer is a 1.3 MB download that takes up about 3 MB when fully installed. Our software has been tested for compatibility with all supported release versions of IE, Firefox and Opera browsers. When right-clicking on files I notice that it only selects them (that is, brings up the context menu I'd expect for the thing I tried to click) when I actually click on the text of the filename or the preview/icon itself, and not just the surrounding area. For example, when I mouse over something in details view, it highlights the entire row, but if I right-click on the whitespace instead of the text itself, it just opens the context menu for the folder itself.

Anyone know how to change this behavior so the highlighted item's context menu shows up or is this just how 7 operates? It's certainly confusing user behavior...

Answer:Right-click to select doesn't seem to work right

Hello TrueDis, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Yes, in Windows 7 and Vista you would need to right click on the actual file or item that you want to see the context menu of. There is no way to change this that I am aware of.

I've tried just about every combination of settings. As something as basic and simple as this shouldn't be difficult. The two finger thing isn't a solution for me as I wear a prosthetic. This is the reason I buy Thinkpads, knowing that the Trackpoint and buttons just work. But now it doesn't. What gives?

I have a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 and my middle click doesn't work, although my scroll does. I installed the latest Intellipoint and I even set my middle button to middle click yet nothing happens when i press the middle button. How can I make it work?

Answer:Middle click doesn't work

Hi, welcome to TSF

Has it ever worked or is this a new problem?

Try setting it to a different command, not 'middle click'. If the new setting doesn't work and the drivers and software are installed correctly, then it could be a faulty button. When you push the button does it feel like it's clicking or does it feel like it could be jammed?

What software are you trying to use the middle click in? Sometimes you have to set it in both the mouse settings and the program's options, like in games for example.

I currently have Battlefield installed. Since it does not support save slots, I created another local user account for my bro with administrative rights. Then, I ran the game using Shift+Right click >> Run as different user. This works perfectly.

However, to avoid typing the creds everytime, I used the tutorial - Run as Different User Shortcut - Create for Specified Program and User to create a shortcut with my bro's account. This method, however, launches the EXE and then closes it. The same does not occur when using the right click approach.

What am I doing wrong?

The command that I am using in the shortcut is as below:

Code:
runas /savecred /user:"<UserName>" "D:\Games\Battlefield Hardline\bfh.exe"

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and have discovered a problem that I can't seem to fix. When I Right-click on my Touchpad, nothing happens. This was very useful when I need to fix a word spelling & get options for the misspelled word.

I have an HP Pavilion using Synaptics Touchpad.

Any ideas ???

Answer:Right Click does't work on Touchpad (Synaptics)

Hi, do you mean the touch pad button (I presume you have one) or the double tap right click option?
And can you confirm the obvious, that rt click with a mouse works?

First off, I'm not a computer savy guy. Here's my issue. When my son plays minecraft (Chrome browser), he tells me that when he is holding down a key on the keyboard to move his guy, the left-click on the touchpad won't respond. Only when he lets go of the key, it responds, which ruins his gaming experience. Btw, this also happens when he plugs in any external mouse too. This also happense whenever I try it on any website, etc, but is never really an issue for a non-gamer. Is There a simple fix for this in settings or something? I can't seem to find anything that will correct the problem. Thanks in advance for the help!!

Hello,

I've got a Toshiba Satellite A105-s4064 notebook. Recently the left click on the touchpad has stopped working.

So far I've cracked the case open to check if a connection was loose and one is not. I also checked the drivers, updated and still no luck.

When I plug in a wireless mouse, both clicks work fine. The right click on the touchpad works great. The touchpad itself works great. Just the left click is essentially worthless right now.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Answer:Left Click doesn't work

The microswitch is most likely worn out. You'll have to have it replaced... or cheaper to use a mouse.

I can't select multiple files with ctrl-click anymore. Ctrl key works fine in other contexts.

Any idea why this might happen?

Answer:ctrl-click doesn't work

I've heard that unchecking the "Enable nView Desktop Manager" could be behind this weird problem.

I have a HP 15-ay083TU laptop with Windows 10.The right click button on my touchpad has suddenly stopped working.I checked the synaptics touchpad settings and the two finger scrolling feature is enabled.

Answer:Right click doesn't work on touchpad

Welcome to the TenForums

First off create a restore point.

Within the settings for Synaptics, at least on mine, there is a restore all defaults, have you tried this. To isolate it is a Touchpad issue, and not something in Windows, do you have access to a mouse. Do right clicks work on a mouse?

If you go to device manager and find your device and look at driver, is the Roll Back driver greyed out. If so you can't roll back but if it is enabled you might want to try rolling back.
